Last Door Recovery Centre: what do users think?
Reg Daggitt
Reg Daggitt: The simplest way to put this review is that Last Door Recovery Centre saved my life . I arrived there Feb 18, 1993 . I was 42 years old and had been addicted to opiates for over 20 years . I had burned all my bridges, physically I was a wreck, I hadn't worked for a living in a lot of years , my wife and my biological family both wanted nothing to do with me , I again had drug charges to deal with and it wasn't a stretch to say I had no positive prospects for the future. The professional staff at Last Door helped me sort through all the issues that I had arrived with. They patiently taught me the skills I needed to learn to take responsibility for my life and to turn it around. Above all they taught me how to enjoy my life again while living an abstinent life style and how to become a positive member of society.Today is Jan 25th / 2019 and in less than a month , God willing ,on Feb 18/ 2019 I will celebrate 26 years of abstinence . I'm still doing today the same things I was taught to do all those years ago. Today I love my life , my family , my son's family, my granddaughter , my friends and Last Door for teaching me how to do this and not do it alone. I am so grateful to be part of the Last Door family and enjoy participating in their on going community events.Update May 16th 2023:I now have 2 beautiful granddaughters am 30 years clean .. and still living my life to the fullest .. Thank you Last Door
Kyle Whyet
Kyle Whyet: Dave n Louise gave life back to me thank you
nathan wilder
nathan wilder: Spent about 5 years in my addiction, no way out no end in sight, through trusting the process at the last door I’m coming up on 6months clean, back to work, enjoying my time with family, and enjoying recovery
Meenakshi Meenakshi
Meenakshi Meenakshi: Awesome experience
Wyatt Cameron
Wyatt Cameron: I had been to other treatment centers before and had little results, usually relapsing within weeks of leaving their programs. The Last Door is the only place I've had success in recovery. When I came there I had almost no contact with my son and wasn't on good terms with his mom. I had lost everything. As a result of working a program and taking some suggestions I was able to build a great support group of friends that I met while I was there. I'm still in regular contact with them today. I have my son back in my life, and have rebuilt relationships with family. The food is amazing, the support is the best, and the community of New Westminster makes recovery something I love doing. Thanks to everyone at the Last Door.
kiefer str
kiefer str: This place changed my life. Now over 2 years clean, i never knew it would ever be possible to no longer have to wake up in misery. I'd take my socks off just to give them an additional 2 more thumbs up. And that guy Eddie in the kitchen is a dreamboat ❤️
Riley Grondin
Riley Grondin: Last Door is the greatest thing that ever happened to me. I have gained freedom from addiction. I have made so many amazing friends that have my back when I need support and I am happy, healthy, in the moment with my Children. The staff are amazing people and show immense dedication to clients
Rick Thompson
Rick Thompson: UHMAZIN'
Keshia
Keshia: My husband entered the last door just under a year ago , he was desperate and new he was no longer able to manage his life, on the verge of losing everything. Addiction had been the center of our arguments and as time went on it only got stronger. Today I am so proud to be his wife , The last door is where my husband found purpose , connection and a community, he has made life long friendships here and stays in touch with people daily, they have become like family. I am so thankful my husband was able to find this program and will always be so thankful for the journey he took that brought us here today.
David Tapp
David Tapp: Extremely disappointing experience here with my brother. Well-trained professionals are not running this organization. Although they claim to be able to handle comorbid disorders like addiction & mental health issues (usually intertwined), it was immediately apparent they were not equipped to. What’s more, they pointed to minor but classic symptoms of mental health struggles as rationale for dumping my brother in a local mental health ward and removing him from the program with absolutely no notice to our family. It was a nightmare to scramble out to BC to recover him in New Westminster, put him in a hotel and book him a flight home to Saskatchewan day of. We’re also still trying to find him permanent accommodation and employment, as it was planned to have him in this program anywhere from 4-6 months. Please do your research and due diligence before committing your loved ones to Last Door. I wish we never did.
Rehan Minhas
Rehan Minhas: Sick dude
Lisa Tangjerd

Henry Neugebauer
Henry Neugebauer: We are forever grateful to the Last Door Youth Programme and the community is has provided for the entire family! The peer based social model worked wonders for our addicted loved one. Similarly weekly attendance of the family support group as well as participation at the Family Enhancement Programme at Keystone were key to helping all of us on our recovery journeys.
JOSH FRULLING
JOSH FRULLING: Went through the last door in 2007. This place along with the strong new west recovery community changed the course of my life forever... Not only am I still clean but quite a few of the guys I went through with are aswell! Would highly recommend this place to you or your loved ones!! Thanks for all you do Last Door!

P B
P B: Last Door opened it’s arms to me December 24th, 1990 and I never left! They guided me out of the painful chaos of addiction into a vibrant life of recovery. The staff were kind hearted, professional and treated me like a human! The facility and peer based support mentorship became my surrogate home and community. Flexible treatment options, principle based programming, and a lot of laughs! My family is forever grateful!

zoa bourque
zoa bourque: Great people and great food, this place will change you’re life no matter your age
Graham Butler
Graham Butler: The Last Door really works. Their social model helps clients build a solid foundation for recovery for the long term, not just for their treatment stay because it helps create and support quality relationships. All the staff are amazing, and comitted to really helping their clients. Not only does treatment at the Last Door get men into solid, quality recovery, it helps them awaken their spirit, and motivates them to stay clean because recovery is fun! And when you really love your life in recovery, using drugs again just doesn't seem like an option anymore. If you know someone that needs help, the Last Door is the absolute best place to get it.
Alfredo Mannarino
Alfredo Mannarino: Last Door Recovery Center is a great male center with wonderful staff, colleagues, clients and alumni. This place is perfect for getting and staying clean and learning to grow and change to a life that is worth living. I've done treatment before and nothing can compare to the compassion, the energy, the unity and support that everyone brings to helping myself get well, but also allowing me to help others. Without The Last Door, I would not have the life I live today. A life filled with love, joy and happiness. I'm nearing a decade clean and its all because of THE LAST DOOR 💓

Together We Can - Addiction Recovery & Education Society: what do users think?
Jacqueline Caro
Jacqueline Caro: I would not trust these people! They have a very closed door policy! And not good professional business operations! They ghost you and stop communicating altogether. In my experience with TWC I felt bullied when it came to payment, expensive recovery house $7,500.00(Robins Nest )per Month, run down facility heated with space heaters and served donated food. They justify double dipping and charging Social Services for date’s that where already payed by family… very shady work, Manager said SS only pays $1,200 a month so they had to try and get as much $ as they can?? This house doe’s not do their job or follow up’s!! they allowed my daughter to leave the facility for a weekend with out contacting her Probation Officer or her family, even after I shared my concerns of the risk’s, still no drug test on her return, they well not keep your loved one safe and they are not monitoring whats going on in that house. REWARE!!! Find a treatment/recovery centre that is professional. They helped feed my daughter’s addiction and she is back on the streets.
Tristan Elliott
Tristan Elliott: A genuinely great program that shows men going through a tough time the love and compassion they need! Highly recommended. I'd definitely recommend TWC to anyone struggling.
Sonaiya Wilson
Sonaiya Wilson: Together We Can is built on community, they love you until you can love yourself. I have seen several friends come through the program and build themselves a new recovery life. I am grateful that organizations such as Together We Can exist. They are helping to rebuild lives, heal families and strengthen our community.
Heather Saylor
Heather Saylor: I am so grateful to TWC for all they have done to support my son and our family. They provided a lifeline at one of the most heartwrenching times in our lives. They responded to my email inquiry within 30 minutes and helped my son begin his road to sobriety. My son recently celebrated 2 years of sobriety. He couldn't have done it without TWC. They have been with him the entire way. Now they are practically a part of our family. Again, so grateful 🙏🏻
rene bourassa
rene bourassa: If you're looking for a unique, loving, professional, and altogether amazing experience to have through getting clean and sober I highly suggest Together We Can. They cater to the individual, as we all know, each person is as important as the next. The love and kindness and support I have had and seen others receive from this facility has been like no other. I am eternally grateful for the things I have learned from being a client at this center and my life has forever been altered in the best way possible. Thank you again for helping me save my life TWC ❤️
Matthew Penikett
Matthew Penikett: Together We Can helps many people and offers great support for families! Keep up the good work!
Shannon Lamoureux
Shannon Lamoureux: I am beyond grateful for TWC. This organization saved my brothers life and provided us with education on addiction and support via. the family group throughout the process.
Rob Flavel
Rob Flavel: This program changed my Life , guided me to a better path in life
Tim Saylor
Tim Saylor: My experience at TWC was positive overall. In 2 weeks I'll be celebrating 2 years of sobriety. That isn't to say there were no shortcomings, my needs weren't always addressed automatically and I butted heads with some of the staff but in the end I think those quirks helped me advocate for myself. Treatment is always going to be what you make it, I thought I would be cured by going here but I learned TWC could only guide me towards a better life, not walk that path for me. Everyone here, from staff to other clients, respects you when you respect them. I loved that the vast majority of staff are recovering addicts themselves as it really breaks down the separation between the them and the clients. I could trust what they were telling me to do was really in my best interest and not just some detached academic reciting words from a text book. People here are genuine, darkly funny and an inspiration to be around. If you want a better way of life, TWC can help you get there.
daniel pulgar
daniel pulgar: Hello my name is Daniel P. What can I not say about TOGETHER WE CAN… it safe my life.TWC employees, counsellors and volunteers were incredibly helpful, never have I experienced care as I did from them.I am completely grateful to this wonderful place and full of gratitude 🙏.To all of friends at TWC, thank you for giving me my life back..Love you all.
Toni Hall
Toni Hall: I am so blessed that my son found TWC. When he left home to go to recovery, I was so worried that he was not going to stay sober. TWC took him in and taught him to love himself again. They are one big family and every person I met is so caring and competent in what they do. Steven embraced TWC and has completely changed his life. I will be forever grateful to each person who helped with his recovery. Thank you all so much.
Jumping Jimminy_crickets
Jumping Jimminy_crickets: I was in seriously bad shape from drugs and alcohol. A friend got me a bed here and i was able to seperate myself from them. I was determined and focused, with the help of the counselors and TWC first and second stage programs, i have been clean and sober ever since. This place changed my life and i still keep in touch to this day. I cannot recommend TWC enough. Thry saved my life. That was over 12yrs ago. #ODAAT
Franklin Egzi N'jei Gauci
Franklin Egzi N'jei Gauci: I've been to 7 different centers from the age of 16-22 I've been in and out of recovery 9 times and I've never had such good experience as I did at TWC, thanks to this program I was able to create a positive and healthy life for myself and for my kids, I've gained a family of brothers who are going through the same struggles I was and am, as stated in the name "Together" we help each other get through what we perceive as the toughest times, I would like to say a big thanks to Steven H, Stacey W, David P, James S and Mike P for playing a big part in my recovery, without the support from these gentlemen I don't think I would of been able to get to this point in my life where I'm a healthy functioning member of society...
Nevenka Celan
Nevenka Celan: My son was at this facility recently. He left three weeks after, and has no complaints about this place. He just couldn’t do it but said place is ok. Food is really good and people are very helpful.I need to tell my experience when it comes to this place. My husband had lung cancer for almost three years which brought us to very difficult financial situation. Two months ago we found out his cancer came back and spread on his brain. That is when my son decided to go to rehab. We just couldn’t afford it but had to do it. Even though they came down with price it was still too expensive . I paid with credit card. My husband passed away a week after my son got out of rehab. Since my son was in rehab for three weeks only, I was hoping they might be able to help me out by returning at least some money. Which we desperately needed for funeral expenses. I emailed to Steve person I dealt with before my son went there. When he didn’t reply, being desperate I emailed to Stacy who is in charge for this place. They never replied to me. Never even tried to make excuse. I will never forget this. Until now I didn’t know we live in such a heartless society.
Dallas Renaud
Dallas Renaud: I gave 2 stars for 2 reasons. 1) This place lacks professional help....2) The staff were horrible execpt for maybe 2 of them. The house I stayed at had pest problems and clearly the house was falling apart (like really falling apart) mold in the ceilings and bedrooms. This place need a major upgrade and needs to address the actual problems. My eperience there was 5/10.Woyld not reccomend this place to anyone.
Manny Brown
Manny Brown: Wow this place is so terribly run they must have crackheads running it..... wait a second that is exactly what is happening at TWC. They catch people off east hastings wait till they have 3 months clean and then give them a supervision roll paying them 50 dollars a day. Its actually quite a sight. Save your money, they lie about everything and cant do the simplist tasks. I witnessed house managers and staff steal from the clients and laugh about it as it was some kind of joke, one of the house managers also physically attacked a 25 year old young man and didn't even get fired. It was one of the most disgusting things I've ever witnessed. If you care about your own dignity or your spouse or childs dignity you would not send them to TWC.
rhonda Westgard
rhonda Westgard: My brother went to this rehab centre they were amazing in the beginning. I joined their family counselling and learned a lot. After 30 days my brother was was on a free pass because he completed 30 out of the 60 days. He was drinking in the rehab facility I didn’t know until he returned home. I understand rehab takes a few times. When he got home I reached out for counselling because this is something they offered. I needed support and nobody ever returned my email. I suggest find somewhere else that supports them the whole time your loved one is there.
Sharon leClair
Sharon leClair: If you have money …. You have their attention. 45k for 3 months…. 3500 2nd stage… Staff are prior clients…. Trained/experienced staff lacking at each level. Family paid well over 50k…..We cannot recommend TWC…Family member clean and sober without organization. Snapshot of our family’s experience with TWC…
Kevin Ramsay
Kevin Ramsay: The truth is you get what you put into treatment. This place helped me immensely. I fought the process quite a bit at the start but when I finally surrendered to the process and listened to the nice people trying to help me and got out of my own way it was great . I would recommend this place to everyone battling addiction they don't give up on you here and they truly understand addiction as almost everyone who works there is in recovery themselves .So many options to continue long term sobriety through there many programs they offer.
A R
A R: This place quite literally saved my life. I know many people write that on places they've been to, but they went out of their way for YEARS to help me get well. If you're actually looking to set yourself up for success outside of the recovery world, you need to be exposed to others living sober in society. TWC allows for that to happen while providing a supportive environment while doing so.
Poo Poo
Poo Poo: Went to TWC back in 2016/2017 and I can safely say that they ruined my life.Lost my job, my ability to work, my girlfriend, everything after entering their programs. This is a warning to anyone entering this program, enter at your own risk.If you are a Christian, run, don't walk away from this facility.

Tyler Yawney
Tyler Yawney: An absolutely incredible experience. Easily one of the greatest months of my life. The staff, facilities, and program all exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it to anybody seeking an effective and enjoyable treatment experience. Now as an Alumni of SCHC I have access to a vast, readily available support network of fellow clients, staff, and online meetings that are there for me as I return to my life in post-treatment. All of the optional weekly classes I attended, from neuroscience to dharma recovery, were incredibly interesting and informative, and I had weekly scheduled appointments with specialist doctors and therapists that had a 2 year wait list back in my home city.
ian drescher
ian drescher: SCHC is one of a kind in my books 10 out of 10.I would never even consider going to any other facility. The care they provide is at the highest of standards; working with top and highly qualified specialists with many approaches and in their specific field. The beauty of this is that they get down to the core reason as to the 'WHY'S' and these specific treatments gave me the tools in my tool box to understand how to manage and deal with any if the 'HOW TO'S'By digging deeper under the addiction, peeling back the layers of understanding, and healing the issues that change these behaviors undeniably helped me in so many ways! All the staff is very caring and understanding. The food is 5 stars, the rooms are nice and big, and the beds are very comfortable. All-in all the whole facility is top notch.I am truly grateful for the support I received when I needed it by the staff who helped support me until I returned.I am also looking forward to the aftercare program that provides coaching sessions, support meetings and puts on special events for alumni.I highly recommend SCHC to ANY of my fellow humans that need and want to live a happier and healthier existence. You are worth the help they provide!I particularly appreciate that they treat you like an adult. That it is based on science and is evidence based. It is in general a holistic and meaning centered therapy approach. There is hope.Much love and respect.
Bryan Balfour
Bryan Balfour: Sunshine Coast Health Center is fabulous. The staff are top notch. The facility is excellent. The program is the best and I am glad I chose this facility for my treatment. Highly recommend this facility to any person.
Nathaniel A.
Nathaniel A.: This BY FAR is the best treatment center you will find in Canada. Fortunately their model has nothing to do with the typical pseudo religious 12 step programs that almost never work. Ive been to three other treatment centers (all “spiritual / 12-step”) and walked out of each of them due to their negligence and out right horrible treatment. SCHC treats you like the human being you are - no lifelong labels, no shaming. The clients were also very awesome to be with, I enjoyed almost every client I spent time with . Here you will find a real medical professionals that you will see on an almost daily basis, as well as Specialist Physician and Psychiatrist you will see every week. The scientific and medical evidence-based programming treats the underlying causes of mental health and addiction disorders therefore providing you with a real chance to have a fresh start in life. No gimmicks no brainwashing, everything they do makes sense and if you’re ready to do the work and be open it’s going to help. The accommodations are also extremely comfortable and the food is delicious. Hands-down this place save my life and I feel extremely fortunate and lucky to have been able to be a client. The staff are incredible, compassionate and kind. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a treatment center that will actually help them recover for good. Worth every penny!
Nathan Pauls
Nathan Pauls: I was in a very bad car accident 3.5 years ago where I broke my back and had a severe concussion. I fell into a deep depression and turned to drugs and alcohol to numb the pain. This led me to a downward spiral of self-destruction that ended up in a suicide attempt. I came to the Sunshine Coast Health Centre right after my attempt and it saved my life. I can't say enough good things about this place and the people who work there. In the years during my recovery I never experienced the level of expertise and care that I received from the doctors, counsellors, staff and alumni at this centre. I was able to get all of the medical help I needed to deal with my chronic back pain, which I learned was the source of all of my other problems. Once that was handled, I was able to dive into the mental health issues that I couldn't deal with while in so much pain. I gained so much insight from the alternative therapies they offered, plus the connections and support that I found with people going through similar situations was priceless. I don't have enough good things to say about this place and I tell everyone I know that I truly believe that everyone could benefit from coming to a place like this.
Jeff Cole
Jeff Cole: I want to send a huge thank you to all the staff at SCHC. I was overwhelmed with the helpful kindness of all that work there. If you need a little or a lot of help this is the place!! I’m leaving with a better understanding of my mind, body and spirit. As a bonus I lost 15lbs in my 30day stay and feel great. With a big smile on my face and a positive outlook for the future I’m ready to enjoy all that life has to offer. Thanks SCHC
Paul Thomas
Paul Thomas: This place is incredible.... it saved my life...the one on one Physcotherapist’s and hakomi therapist sessions were a life changer for me...If your ready and its time to be honest with yourself... this place has a system that works...
Neil Willis
Neil Willis: The staff are engaged kind and supportive without being pushovers. The doctors are all top notch and experienced, there’s so many methods available to explore and the facilities are well maintained. It’s been a life changing experience for me and If your at the end of your rope, and wanting to better yourself this is the place for you. The clients it attracts are all great guys to get to know too, you’ll make connections here that will last a lifetime.
Dustin Talbot
Dustin Talbot: I came to SCHC to figure out who the hell I am, and then love that person. From day one I was given every opportunity, tool, guidance to accomplish that. Every staff from doctors, nurses, client services, alumni, kitchen, housekeeping helped in any way possible as well. I appreciated how everyone knew I was on a mission and allowed me to find myself. The guys I met while staying there are some of the kindest, funniest people I’ve ever crossed paths with and am very grateful we all ended up there at the same time.Everything happens for a reason and I’m glad I started the SCHC journey when I did.Just remember you are all you’ll ever need to be, everything is inside you and have trust in your power, nothing can take that away from you no matter how hard you’ve convinced yourself this is the end. This is just the beginning, all my loveDustin
Triston Nelson
Triston Nelson: SCHC is by far the best experience I’ve had at any facility of this type. The staff are overly friendly, respectful, helpful and committed. They treat you as an adult and give you the space you need to grow on terms they help you set for YOURSELF. Therapies and treatment plans are extremely individualized and tailored for the best results for just you. Also the other clients were very mature and friendly. No drama what so ever. Really just a supportive and nurturing environment. I would recommend for anyone looking to better themselves through self work and self awareness in an unbelievable setting.
lisa reimer
lisa reimer: My boyfriend went here in 2008. It saved his life. He is now almost 10 years clean. Thank you to the amazing staff from the doctors to cleaning staff he said they all where part of his recovery. He said the programs where all top notch. We would recommend this to anyone struggling. Thank you again.
Doug Shaw
Doug Shaw: My stay at SCHC was a experience I'll never forget.Being to 3 12step program based treatment centres over the course of 16 yrs ,I was interested in SCHC's model towards treatment and addiction.I came with a open-mind, telling self I will be open to there philosphy and model.Telling self I will commit for 30 days but....By the 3rd day I committed for 60 days.Best thing I've done in a long time.I learnt so much about myself. The staff and everyone here is so professional, loving, and go way beyond what i've seen anywhere else.I truely look forward to being involved in the Alumni program they offer here.5 star
Amber Young
Amber Young: The Sunshine Coast health centre is not your typical treatment centre, it not only met but exceeded my expectations. Staff is kind, accepting, supportive and knowledgeable in every way possible. I found it comforting that the centre is not 12 step but focuses on meaning therapy and the connections needed to help people to continue on with their journeys in life.
Flying With Me
Flying With Me: There is nothing bad to say about this place. Right from when Daniel met me at the airport till I left 5 months later, I was treated like a human being, not someone struggle. The staff was amazing, the programs and all the outings were all top notch. This place helped me get my life on track and the aftercare program is still helping me 7 years later!!! I will always be grateful for the help getting my life back and that is priceless !!!
Brad Falk
Brad Falk: I have nothing but positive things to say regarding SCHC, the Staff are smart, caring and accommodating for your needs in a confusing time. This isn't your typical 12 step program, and this isn't 30+ Days of "Don't Do Drugs". Sunshine Coast Health Center has created a program that can be effective for many different types of people.Finding your passions and purpose help redirect your life, and equip you with the tools required to sustain your new lifestyle after you have left. The aftercare program is effective, and helps guide you in times when you feel helpless. The Sunshine coast will always hold a special place in my heart, I came there missing pieces, and left as a more complete whole person.
Alfie Rosselli
Alfie Rosselli: I entered the Sunshine Coast Health Center on August 15th 212 at the age of 25 and completed 60 days of treatment. I have bean sober ever since. I check-in emotionally and physically frail. With the help of the loving and caring staff I was able to find what I thought I had lost... HOPE. This place helped me turn my life around and I will always be grateful for that. I would highly recommend this place for anyone in need of help.

Andy Bhatti Interventions & Addiction Services: what do users think?
penny saxon
penny saxon: I've known Andy for years and years he's a very compassionate person . He is very serious about helping people . I'd give him 1000000 stars if I could. If you're serious about help or a person you know needs help PLEASE PLEASE , Call . P.s. he's been through it all. He's not just a person with school background trying to understand ..
arnold deo
arnold deo: I've got to meet Andy on a professional level while working with him and he is the best at what he does. From the professional level I've gotten to know him on a personal level and the man leads with compassion trying to give his clients the best chance of success!
Jenna Lynn
Jenna Lynn: I have known Andy personally and professionally for about 8 years and I can confidently say that he is the best working professional in this field. The thing I admire most about Andy is his honesty. He will always be transparent when dealing with clients and their families, which is one of the most important qualities to look for in an interventionist. He is very dedicated to his profession and provides exceptional quality of care and therapy options. Another important trait to look for is education. Andy is very well educated and up to date on the most effective and successful treatment models out there and who in the field is using them. When he recommends treatment facilities and therapists you are always getting top quality for your allotted budget. Andy takes a person centred approach, which means that stigmatizing or labeling language are not part of his vocabulary. This aspect is crucial in mental health because people are so much more than the substances they use and they need to be treated that way. I happen to also be in recovery and when I relapsed Andy was there for me and was one of my sole supports. He helped me navigate all of the barriers out there and found me the best treatment available that suited my individual needs. He then drove me for 2 days to the destination. Andy told me I needed an evidence based program as well as a trauma informed practice. As a result of Andys guidance and proper therapy I have been able to move past a life of substance abuse. This is his passion and he is incredibly talented at connecting with people. I have met many of Andy’s clients who are still clean to this day. I am forever grateful for Andy and the part he continues to play in my journey to wellness and happiness.
Brandon Erdman
Brandon Erdman: I have known Andy Bhatti for just over 4 years and in that time worked alongside his clients on multiple occasions. Each time I get the honor and opportunity to do so I am amazed by unprecedented support all of the individuals receive from Andy and his team. Each individual is treated with unwavering care and respect and given the best possible opportunity to succeed and have a bright and successful future. From the time of the first phone call to Andy Bhatti Interventions, the individual and the family have the support of the best possible team to assist someone with trauma or addiction issues and from that moment on you will not be fighting alone.I would trust Andy and his team whole heartedly and cant write enough positive things about my experiences with them.

Pacifica Treatment Centre 1977: what do users think?
T Delcambre
T Delcambre: Deniese Taylor is an Aggressive manager & bully who does not do her paper work and gives new employees sets of keys w/o criminal check.& goes after your goodies / snacks if left outNot worth working for. .
Steve Frey
Steve Frey: Helped me in early recovery from addiction.2004? In town and good programs including outside community meetings and in house meetings for alumni and program participants. Both men and women can attend this treatment centre which poses some challenges because of sexual attraction distracting from recovery sometimes. Still it mirrors real life so you have to learn to deal with it. Best not to get involved while in treatment if possible. Weekly outings to community centre gymn is optional. Private rooms for all participants! 3 stage treatment available if needed. A busy schedule is maintained and older clients are accommodated (when I was there). Group therapy and one to one counselling. Some people are not really ready to focus on sobriety when they get there and can be distractions to a more or less extent. Someone used drugs in the bathroom when I was there and it caused a major disruption to the community because the smell was very noticeable and it upset pretty much everyone there. Don't expect miracles but you can get better and develop positive recovery habits and friends.
Kelly Kay
Kelly Kay: I graduated from the Pacifica Treatment Center January 31, 2017. I did the 12 week program and really appreciated the holistic approach to recovery. It was scary to take the step of a 3 month intensive residential program, but I believe that I benefited immensely from the introspection, the connection and the tools that I gained to face life without the use of the substances that I'd come to rely on. I found the staff professional and caring and highly recommended the program.
Rob Hasenwinkle
Rob Hasenwinkle: With healthy high hopes, and a strong will, I applied to this facility as my first treatment center. I learned enough about the facility to believe I could accomplish what I needed to in a safe, productive and successful way. All staff were made aware of environmental barriers of my disabilities and I was told I would be accommodated without question.I was a client of this facility for only two weeks and already there was abusive behaviours from specific staff and residents that surfaced. I addressed them all as required by residents. The staff's answers to this was that I was to be wrongfully discharged for reasons of a discriminatory nature against disability barriers I have, even though they were made aware of them well before I entered, and wrongful accusations that were not true, nor of no substantial grounds nor based on any evidence. The way I was treated when leaving was actually verbally and physically abusive. A certain staff member actually would not let me pack my belongings in a safe way and began grabbing my sensitive items and shoving them into my hockey bag, actually ruining many items, and he actually grabbed my arm in an aggressive way to get around me to get more of my items. I was actually being assaulted by this staff member ONLY because of his anxiety over his embarrassment of knowing that I was being wrongfully discharged. At that time of my discharge it was 10 pm in the evening, and it was mid winter. I had not a place to stay, nor was I offered one by the staff involved in my discharge ( jim thompson )I had no option other than to go sleep in my van, and because of the chaos, personal upset trying to process what just happened and the fact that I was living in my van I indulged in substances to cope. This was my first attempt at getting clean through a treatment center and I was made to be emotionally, physically and psychologically Ruined by three staff members, one being jim thompson. My dignity was damaged and I was in rough shape. I indulged for the next three weeks, and when was too sick again I detoxed and went to a different treatment facility. At 1 month clean I decided to call the facility and talk to jim thompson about how I was affected by this very hurtful experience. The exact words that came out of jim's mouth was this: " you know Rob, I feel Very Highly about ' MY ' treatment center and I like the clients that I choose to bring into MY facility. I like to pick and choose those that will make us look good. And Rob I just don't think you're a right ' fit ' for MY treatment center. 'Those words obviously came across as nothing besides Arrogant, and demeaning. So on top of being wrongfully discharged for discriminatory reasons and untrue accusations, I was being patronized and insulted more when trying to find resolve of that hurtful experience.Time goes on and I am clean, strong and sound and I make attempts to address what happened with specific staff. I spoke with the CEO of pacifica ' allison silgardo ' not long ago, and she said she was appalled to learn what happened to Me. I was assured by her that she would do everything she could to bring me resolve, and that she would contact me at a certain date and time. That date and time went by, and I called her and was given excuses and no apologies by her for not calling me at that date and time.I ended up speaking with ' dale wagner ' whom said he was ' jim thompson's boss ' he said he was not happy to learn what happened and would accommodate a mediation with jim.Long story short dale made very demanding and intimidating protocol, via an email, for a mediation that I requested. Then he went on vacation for 3 weeks. That made feel unsafe, and I asked him to contact me once back. No contact from dale for 3 months, and when I did contact him finally he was startled to hear my voice and tried to block all incoming phone calls from me. And so I talked to jim personally just recently, only to hear jim make arrogant, trivial excuses for his choices.I'm left feeling damaged and irrelevant by allison, dale and jim.

A A: great place to work. people are friendly and they help each other out. I wish others would learn from this place and the people that go there
Chris McEachnie (GVRD Roofing)
Chris McEachnie (GVRD Roofing): Was a great opportunity in my life that I will always cherish. Great people that truely care....
Sean Brooks
Sean Brooks: This program is remarkable. It has truly helped me change my life, and transform into the man I always dreamed of becoming.

Dusty Pickering: Pacific intervention provided a service unlike any other I have ever experienced. They really focused on me as an individual and I felt like they really cared. I had a team behind me and they gave me the tools I needed to move forward in my life.
Jodie Gruninger
Jodie Gruninger: I am writing this review on behalf of our entire family. When our son came to us and said he had a drug problem, we were horrified. We quickly started looking for services to help. We called a number of places with very limited satisfaction. No one was explaining to us what was going on with our son, they only seemed interested in taking our money. That was until we spoke to Jeff at Pacific Interventions. He took the time to explain addiction, current treatment approaches, recovery, and how we could help. Our son ended up attending the 6 week outpatient program with Pacific Interventions. He graduated the program and is currently taking part in their aftercare program. Our son is back to the person we thought we had lost. He has confidence, self-esteem and our relationships with him are all much improved. Our family participated in the family program which offered us real solutions to broken trust, conflicts, and ways to help build our son up and support his recovery. We are all extremely grateful for the help of the entire team at Pacific Interventions for following through on what they said they would do, and helping our family heal.
