Okanagan Estate Wine Cellars: what do users think?
Skye Portman: Really love this place, I do not appreciate the tipping option when I've chosen the wine by myself and taken the wine to the counter. The silence is deafening each time.
Jer Baum: We recently purchased a gift basket with wine and lots of goodies inside. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend this place for delicious wine varieties and excellent customer service
Omar Mathias: I don’t recommend this store
David L.: Great place for tasting wine, and buying Okanagan wine. Nice selection and fair prices
Raunil Raj: I could find kelowna wines that I badly wanted and I searched a lot in Vancouver ultimately finding it here. Great collection!
Linney Sylvester: This is def one of my favorites!! I love BCVQA and they have lots! Excellent selection, great staff, good hours. Ita convienantly located beside my gym lol. Check it out. They also sell some ciders and wine coolers and even do tastings. Excellent store.
Helena Fleming: Lovely folks, interesting selection with a wide price point, great for gift or just home wine, so good value too.
Vineeth Shankar: We are fortunate to live at a walking distance from this wine shop where there is an excellent collection of wines from the Okanagan Valley. I also like the fact that the shop is open on all days. The staff is very forthcoming with suggestions for wines that suit my budgetary and flavor preferences. And her recommendation was spot-on !My wife and I really enjoyed the Cabernet Merlot of the Gehringer Brothers. It strikes a good balance between the the weight of a Sauvignon and the fruitiness of a Merlot.I highly recommend this wine shop for your next purchase. Support BC wines !
Danielle C: Staff are always friendly and will take the time to offer recommendations. Great selection of BC wines for anyone who likes to support local!
Pamela Stadius: Rad local wine shop in Kitsilano. Winery pricing of BC’s most popular wines. (Psst 😜 - I work here! Come say hi!!)
Laura Chen: The place I come to even if I have to drive further for, passing places like the BC Liquor store. They have a great selection supporting our local wineries, and always with good prices and sales! Good knowledgeable staff that are consistently welcoming with good service. They are also “Covid-proofed” in that they create a comfortable shopping experience during the pandemic, even with their smaller store size. Thanks!
David Brossard: Great wine selection. The staff there takes time to guide us and choose the right bottles
Eli Zbar: Lots of BC hard to find wines and hidden gems here, knowledgeable staff to boot.
Kaho S: Great selection! Just made first time Ubereats order and I am just in love with you guys!
WestCoast Maggie: Fabulous selection and amazing staff. My go to.
Torsten Voigt: Great neighbourhood wine shop with decent selection of Okanagan wines. Very friendly staff. Also they sell baguettes from Beyond Bread which is great.
Gregory Kehm: Friendly, fun, experienced sales staff to bring new 'terroir' into your life!
Geraldine Goyer: One stop shop for BC wines, local productsGreat staff
Markus Akert: Well priced, good selection
Holly Foxcroft: Very reasonable hours of operation to access BC's best wines. There's a week curated selection of chilled white and sparkling wines. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
Lisa Currer: Agree with older review posted here (Kurtis') about the friendly, informative staff (I believe we met the owner). Appreciated the tasting (3 local wines and cheese available) and the courteous service. Surprised at the fair prices of established BC vintages here, compared to the private shop in our neighbourhood.

Vancouver Urban Winery: what do users think?
KELCAN: Just drop by this place breakfast second time around...entering the place during hard rainy day ...feel so comfortable and cozy inside...the food quality is reasonable for the price..
Disha Patil: Brunch menu was super underwhelming. Would not recommend their red wine collection. They got us really dirty plates even when we asked to switch them. Ambience is good but the location is in a sketchy neighborhood.
S Tom: Amazing food, wine, beer and service! Will def be back!
Rachel M: Great drinks, good food, but there were two mice running around all evening. Our server downplayed it but it did not make for a fully comfortable experience.
Alisha Khalil: Absolutely delicious food. Service is top notch. Perfect for a date night.
Curt A: We had one afternoon in Vancouver before leaving on the Canadian the next day. I found the winery/restaurant before we left North Carolina and what the heck went ahead and made reservations. Our visit was excellent from start to finish. Kathryn greeted us as we came in and assisted us in selecting a great evening meal. Of course we also gave the wine a taste.Firstly the food was done very nicely with a nice twist on all the dishes. We sort of did tapas style with charcuterie, salad and flat bread pizza. All excellent choices. If we ever make it back to Vancouver we would return for the food and ambience.Secondly I was very pleasantly surprised by the wine selections in the flight. Thumbs up on Canadian wine, at least the dry reds. They were very comparable with the good Washington state wines. Finally for those coming from out of town, the area is industrial so be prepared and the entrance is inconspicuous at best. Our taxi driver asked if we really wanted to be dropped off!!!Anyway we highly recommend the Urban Winery / Belgard Kitchen.
Saide Nur ALP (saide’s): We loved it! The high ceiling created a very good ambiance. The wine flights were super nice. Hospitality was also perfect. Highly recommended the place.
Paul Rondeau: I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food is top notch quality and the selection of wines, beers and cocktails are great. Try the wagyu meatballs - they are very good but I will say that they’re on the smaller side. If you’re stuck on pasta decisions, give the wagyu pappardelle a try.
Sudeep Chatterjee: We dropped by a charming and cozy wine bar for after dinner drinks. This renovated workshop converted to wine bar has an impressive front door! The high ceilings, brick walls and imposing wooden beams creates an warm ambiance. Our server Emma was delightful, friendly, knowledgeable about wines, beers and cocktails. As per her suggestion we ordered the red wine flight, which turned out to a delicious selection of BC wines. I will award VUW 5 stars for great service, friendly staff and good wines!
Ashley: If you want a winery without having to go to an actual vineyard, this is your place! They have wines from all over the region and beyond. Their selection of wines, beers, and drinks mixed with their delicious food makes this the absolute best brunch spot in Vancouver! They have many options for meat eaters and vegetarians too! Our server was very friendly, down to earth, and made our experience here very pleasant. Don’t sleep on Vancouver Urban Winery, you don’t know what you’re missing!
Meah Peers: Came here for my birthday and it was the perfect place to celebrate! Beautiful setting and atmosphere, and the wine and food were great. They were super accommodating and went out of their way to make our experience special. Our server was also so sweet!! Will be back for sure :)
Diva Dion: Went for my birthday dinner Aug6/22 and was not happy to see a mice/mouse running around…seems like it was the norm because our waiter apologized (sorry about our litter friend running around)…..lovely place and was happy with our waiter but wouldn’t feel comportale going back or recommending it to anyone else.
Eva M: Great place for that special drink with friends
Leslie H: Love their rosé!
Wilson Lin: Super cool winery, cool to see an urban winery in downtown Vancouver. Their version of the lambrusco , the vanbrusco is so delicious. Definitely worth checking it out, and their restaurant the Belgard Kitchen is absolutely delicious.
alex sss: Drink menu is good but the brunch was a bit underwhelming
Kristina Breckon: I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. It was recommended to us by a friend and we see why! The area around the restaurant is a little bit challenging but as soon as your walk through the doors you’re greeted with a huge smile. The decor and vibe are excellent. My husband got the beer flight and I got the white and rose rating flight and both were very enjoyable. We split the pacific board and I highly recommend it!! A great taster of some local seafood and treats. We especially enjoyed the bee pollen cream cheese, the focaccia and smoked salmon… and candied salmon and mussels. Basically everything on the board. One server heard it was our honeymoon and brought us a gifted glass of sparkling wine to celebrate which was so sweet. We loved the focaccia, smoked salmon and cream cheese so much we asked for more and the server and kitchen worked together to make a custom sandwich with those!! You HAVE to try it if you go - ask for the honeymooner. It was amazing. I can’t say enough about how kind and friendly the service and kitchen staff were. It was the perfect start to our honeymoon!! We finished with another glass of local wine and a whit beer. 5 stars from start to finish. Highly recommend this place.
Lorri Prime: Quite a few different wines to try, and a variety of foods to choose from. Jillian was a very nice waitress - server.
Kelly H: To be honest, I am not the wine person, but this place makes me enjoy all types of wines. The vibe is super good especially for some special day.If you don’t know about wine like me, try the wine flight(I forgot the name on the menu) like a beer flight; you will know which wine will make you in-loved
Yulia Merkulova: Great place - nice wines, cocktails, food, and atmosphere!
Charles McNeill: Fantastic flights of wine for tasting a few ounces of 5 great wines! Have not seen this fun option anywhere. Best wine list around top. Beautiful decor and comfortable. Amazing place that is going places!

La Fabrique St-George Winery: what do users think?
Guillaume Robidoux: Very cute - rustic industrial vibes. Perfect date spot. Pricey tho.
Angela Chan: Such an amazing space! Plenty of spots to sit down and get cozy, especially on a rainy day. Had some sparkling wine, and really enjoyed it! Would love for there to be availability of hot food to be served, but the snacks can be fun if that’s what you’re looking for. I would probably recommend either coming here before or after getting food.
Brian Mitchinson: This place has one of the best snack stores for creating really great meals! We accompanied it with their Amber No. 3 wine, which is a rich white with hints of grapefruit. Highly recommend a Sunday afternoon here when the live music is happening.
Emily Pearson: Amazing space but didn’t enjoy the wine options, at high prices. I may just not have a palette for natural wine. If this was a cocktail bar I’d be here every weekend
Andre Sevigny: Delicious natural wines in a cool industrial chic setting. Tried the four flight tasting - sparkling, amber, Pinot, and Cabernet franc. All very good but standout was the Amber no. 3, a hazy fruit forward white.
Emily C: The atmosphere here is fantastic and the wine is good. Modest patio available in the summer that gets a lot of sun!
Diana Sonobe: What a surprise of Le Fabrique! This beautiful and rustic winery invites you to stay longer, even if you are not a wine drinker like me. These are my pros and cons about this place.Wine: Of course, they have many options. I am not an expert, but I could see many customers refilling their glasses and having a good time. So, if you like the combination wine+food+music+friends, this could be your next gathering.Food: They have a small menu (6 options), and you have to order at the front bar. I love seafood, so I ordered Sardines & Pesto. It came with grilled fife sourdough, OMGI hope I had more stomach to try more, but definitely !!! I want to come back to try the Grill Chorizo. It seems good as well. Also, they have a fridge with some food for “help yourself.” You can grab your food and use their cutlery, plates and napkins with no charges. Now, in that case, if you prefer a crepe instead, you can order from outside the winery. I don´t really know if it’s a kind of partnership with them, but you can buy and try.Customer service: It´s ok; the staff looks nice, and the environment is friendly, so go prepared to tip them!Ambient: The place deserves a special note for the ambiance. It´s rustic, with picnic tables, the chairs don´t match, but they are harmonious with each other. The first space (where you order the food), it’s a spoiler about what you are going through. The big bar inside has comfortable tall benches, and everyone can sit and enjoy the performance or have a good conversation. The light is perfect, not too bright, not too dark. The acoustic is good, and you can listen to the musicians perfectly.Music: They host musicians who play several rhythms. Check them out on their website and enjoy them as much as I did. Back that day, my friends @sara_magal, @stevenjcharles they played with @jodi_proznickParking: There is parking around, it´s not difficult to find a spot, and the price is acceptable. We paid $2 for 2 hoursThank you for reading it, and I hope it is helpful! Enjoy what makes you happy!
P. Davison: Beautiful space, lovely staff, pricey and disappointing wine.
Christine Taylor: A lovely place, nice selection of wine and build your own charcuterie
Brendan Grills: Great snacks, great wine!
William de Courcy: They have a strong piano here
Jayanti Hunter: Such a lovely cozy place with European vibes. Love the concept of building your own charcuterie board and love the wine flight.
0116 X: This board of self-serve charcuterie and 2 flights of wine was $120. Am I missing something here or does a self-serve charcuterie in a warehouse seem a bit overpriced. They're not very instructive in their services nor are they very accomodating as a business. The vibe is nice but their furniture is barely updated and more close to recycled items. The wine was not as good to compensate for the amount of disorganization in our experience.Sorry but I would not go again.
Nishal Kumar: The wine is good. The vibes are great. What else do you need?
Jordan Bonal: Just had a lovely time here this evening. The wine was excellent for a small local winery. James, the handsome bartender, knew exactly what he was talking about and sold me on the amber wine. The snacks were good here too but I'll definitely come back for the wine and bartender
Shae Rea: I frequent Fabrique often, and was just there on Tuesday. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays with a tree and many wreaths. We arrived at 6:00pm and happened upon an opera night! It was a pleasantly unexpected surprise. I typically have the wine flight as it allows you to try many of their options but this time I had the Piquette #2, which was a lovely sparkling red wine. We also had some charcuterie which we selected from all their options. It can quickly get pricey here, but it’s a nice treat and a great atmosphere. The staff are lovely and always very helpful too!
Ady Macs: I really like this place. Nice place to have some wine.
Aksh Sidhu: Love the vibe
Erika Babins: Few places am I hesitant to review for selfish reasons! Obviously I want lots of people to go the Fabrique for the amazing and unique wines, A+ atmosphere, and eclectic way of buying your own picnic. I just don't want it to get so popular that it gets hard to get a seat. Selfish! And I didn't even go at a time that have live music. I'll definitely be going back for that
Ines Belic: Every European has just rolled over in their grave. A do it yourself charcuterie - go shopping in an overpriced Whole Foods refrigerator for cheese, meat, olives and crackers, bring it to their bar, receive a cutting board, buy a glass of the six choices of wine or a $22 flight, and then... cut up your own food and carry your own drink. So no kitchen, no service, and a 20% tip? This is obscene. $11 for 100gr of prosciutto is obscene. It's not even that they're ripping you off and you're enjoying it, it's that they're bastardizing a cultural tradition.
Osvaldo Garcia: Do you love going grocery shopping? If so, this place is for you.You will find overpriced items, like a loaf of bread, for $12+tip.The fact that you have to build your charcuterie board with overpriced items is just outrageous. We must accept that the place's decoration was nice, but more is needed to justify the high prices. The wine wasn't unique, as the only one that tasted ok was the Blanc 3.Please do yourself a favor and do your charcuterie at home.

Liberty Wine Merchants: what do users think?
Luke Minaker: The workers are extremely helpful with great recommendations!
Angela Kim: This branch has its own vantage vibe. The staff are welcoming and professional. They are properly stocked. I never fail to get my favorite wine in this store.
Amanda Westrheim: I was recently in the store and was helped by Kaylene to choose 12 unique bottles for my cellar - and wow; her knowledge of unique varietals and grapes around the world was wonderful! I’d never heard of this wine store before but I’m glad Kaylene had me stop in.
Darcy Liam: If you're into expensive wine or hard bar or beer they have everything that the BC Liquor Stores don't have very worth a try and very worth your money
Paco Escobar: A 6 pack of P49 Radler is $5 more than in BC Liquor. I understand some markup but I'm done shopping here
François Tardif: Excellent advice from Mark! Lots of choice.
Jack Stockholm: Great neighborhood store packed with an amazing selection and knowledgable staff.
Alison Cuffley: Always friendly and helpful staff, and products for a variety of budgets. I love their ever changing selection in the coolers and will always stop here versus the BCL down the street.
Divjot Bhatia: They sang happy birthday to me
Aaron Peters: Really brilliant selection of bourbons, vermouths, Belgian beers, and of course, the best curated selection of wine in Vancouver. They have super knowledgeable staff who are a delight
John Tino: Great selection of wines. Good service, if you’re white. Great place to be followed and scrutinized if you are a POC. My partner (who is Caucasian) walked into the store to pick up some wine. We were the only ones in the store. It was obvious that we were together (we were discussing the wines) but clerk felt that he needs to make his presence felt my being around me. We decided on the wines, went to the cashier to pay and the person who was following me went behind the counter and rudely asked me ‘can I help you?!’ It was obvious that we were there together (since he was following me). Go somewhere else for your wines. Their selections are not that exclusive. I will stick with my multiple wine subscriptions. The only reason we stopped there was we wanted wine that was already cold. Won’t be going back.
Maia Hadfield: Great selection!
Kendra Nickerson: I have a somewhat advanced palette, but feel out of my league in this store. Most of the stock is unfamiliar to me, so it helps to have someone guide you so you’re not blindly picking a $30+ bottle based on the label (guilty), varietal, or region. But the staff is usually too busy stocking the store to assist you, or helping someone that knows what they’re buying. So I tend to avoid it and go to friendlier private shops.
Conor Graham: This is my favourite wine store in the city. There's none better. It's like a magical antiquarian book shop except you get drunk.
Eric Sloan: Great spot for some unique juice that can't be found at the bcl
Kelsey Z: Great selection and the Liberty Wine are surprisingly good
Warren Jones: My favorite liqour store. Good selection and the staff are so great! I only wish there was a tip option on their machines because I frequently don't have cash these days and they deserve it!
Jacky Yenga: Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
John Pozer: Absolutely wonderful selection of wines, specialty liquors, and beers. Guaranteed to have Gluten Free beer options. Recently met the Glutenberg rep who stopped in to make sure that the fridges were stocked. Great BC wines and liquors. Helpful staff. Love Liberty!
Vigan Aliu: Good choices. Decent prices. Nice location!
Pierre Vacheresse: Great selection

Liberty Wine Merchants: what do users think?
Kevin M: Staff was busy, but nice. Good selection
John Doe: Had a great experience here!Staff were super helpful.
Tim Cressman: Staff is pretty reliable at either ignoring you or failing to show any appreciation for a customer spending money in a business which inflates prices more than their competition.Liberty staff at their Commercial Drive or 8th and Cambie locations at least have generally good customer service practices. That makes me feel better for paying overvalue for wine.
Jim Elkington: Super helpful, pairing suggestions always taste great!
Irene: Was happy to stumble upon another Liberty location (even though the selection is smaller), until the staff literally threw the purchased item and change onto the counter. This guy clearly hates his job or is racist. Or both. Either way, was my worst service experience in years - definitely not a good look for the store. I hope the management reads this and actually does something to do better.
D L: A gem on Granville Island , knowledgeable friendly staff that will help you with your wine selections.
Guy Dalcourt: Much more expensive than BC liquor stores
Cam Collins: I would like to take this opportunity to thank the gentleman ( never got his name ) shame on me, who looked after me today. He took care of me today and went way beyond what I would consider great customer service. Thank you very much.
Patrice Rabot: Plein de bonnes choses à prix moyens
Steve Mcrae: Great place for all your wine needs
Wafa Anam: Staff was super rude and unhelpful. I was browsing the fridge and the person working made me move aside twice for other people instead of waiting for me to finish. Then I had to stand around waiting for them to finish. They also did not assist my brother in finding something to buy but helped the other customers extensively browse the entire store. My brother asked for a particular product and they basically told him to look for it himself. Maybe we didn’t look rich enough? I am not sure.
Bahar Sadeghi: Great selection of wine here.
Kirsten F: This place has a wonderfully edited selection of wines in slightly tight quarters- takes some time to browse, as it should. The whole experience was dampened by the guy at the cashier with the dark curly hair who didn't even deign to return a 'hello' at the cash. (Seriously, don't work with the public if we're annoying you by trying to buy stuff...)(Edit: changed review to four stars to acknowledge the owner's comment- thanks :)
Shawn McDermott: Pierre is awesome
Brian Milakovic: Excellent wine selection and pairing recommendations that never disappoint.
g martins: Huge variety of wines
Debra Gossen: It's always an awesome experience!!
Infinerdy: , it was well stocked with imports. The staff was super helpful with selection. I haven't been there since (despite Google Maps insisting otherwise
Neil Clark: This review is for the delivery driver. He should save the aggressive tailgating for when driving his personal vehicle. - Not when he’s driving the company van, plastered in the company name.
Azul Hugh: Good wines, but excessively overpriced

Liberty Wine Merchants: what do users think?
Christian Jeffery: Very knowledgeable and helpful staff!
Will: A large selection of exotic drinks and excellent customer service.
Emel AN: LOVE liberty wines. Don’t let the name deceive you, they also have a top notch selection of craft beer and ciders. All the best kinds, I promise. And all the natural wines. Staff are friendly and helpful with great suggestions no matter your price point. The only issue is how much I end up spending when I go in there...
Mike Meitner: Great service and suggestions!
Michael Macartney: Great advice from staff on selecting wines!
Shannon Hampton: I love this wine shop. The staff is knowledgeable and approachable. It's on my walk home from work. They've never let me down and their recommendations are always fantastic.I went to get a bottle of wine on my way home from Whole Foods and I did the unimaginable, I knocked over and broke a bottle of wine. My heart sunk and I felt awful. The two young ladies working, reassured me it was OK and did not make me feel bad.Honestly, as bad as I felt, it could have ruined my day.Thank you very much to the two wonderful ladies working today.
Lottie Laken: Really great customer service delivered with a personal touch. I highly recommend ordering a case of wine from here!
Vicki O'Brien: Graham and his staff are just wonderful. They have been delivering wine to my 96-year-old mother throughout the pandemic, going above and beyond to keep her well stocked. Both the product selection and service at this location are top notch. Heartily recommend to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and personalized experience. Support this great community business.
Hoba: I sometimes buy wines here, especially when I'm looking for elephant wine :)).The guy here is kinda helpful, and energetic with a positive attitude, thank you!
Torsten Voigt: Very nice and knowledgeable staff, great selection of wines from around the world
Kody Baker: Knowledgable staff, great selection

Liberty Wine Merchants: what do users think?
Clinton Weafer: This place blows24$ for 6 warm beer RIP 🤢
Jason Lindstrom: Really good wines and the guys working there were amazing, they made some great recommendations and they had a good sense of humour 👍
Tim Armstrong: Great for mid-value wines, good selection of spirits, interesting beers and BC wines. Less convincing selection of top end bottles which seem second hand.
Candice: Exceptional service and selection. Very convenient hours, highly recommended!
Jess H: Large variety of wine selection, both local and imported. Some local beer as well. Helpful and knowledgeable staff.
Rita: Great wine shop with an extensive collection and very helpful staff. They sell wines at all prices and from all over the world, good (but limited) selection of spirits, cider, beer cigars and good local chocolate. If you are overwhelmed by the sheer quantity of choices, just ask the staff and they will make very helpful recommendations. Highly recommend.
kodi dotchuk: Had a wonderful experience. Staff where extremely helpful
Keta K: Excellent selection, knowledgeable staff. Prices somewhat high but not out-of-range for the convenience of a neighbourhood store.
Bogdan Motoc: Great assortment of qines and beers.
John Mark Kramm II: Great service, very knowledgeable guid, wide selection, a little bit marked up on all products tho
Deanne Nielsen: Excellent variety - theybsell more than wine as well!
Xavier Smith: Very nice selection of craft beer. Lots of wine if that's your thing. Dog friendly and the staff are lovely. A little out of my way but I'll travel the distance to aquire my libations here.
Floyd Salazar: Great selection and knowledgeable staff that always offer great suggestions.
Cameron Hunt: I went to the Liberty store in Point Grey, and was served outside due to current health conditions. I gave quite specific requests and had to eventually take their recommendation due to not being able to look for myself. Worst pinot noir I’ve had. Way overpriced. I should have followed my intuition and gone elsewhere.
Vladimir Protic: Expensive beer. Although they have Kronenbourgh 1664 in 0.5L cans.
Gary Stuart: Always very helpful. Nice people.
Kyle Egeland: A hidden gem. This hole in the wall location in Point Grey has very friendly, knowledgeable staff and an incredible inventory of wine, spirits, and beer. Worth a look.
