Choices Markets: what do users think?
Nhu-Trang Nguyen, DMD: They don't have organic fruits/veggies enough, very small section. No wine as well.
Sheryl M: Very nice grocery store. Good selection of products, including lots of types of tea.
Delano: We stopped in for cookies on our way to the canada line. It’s been a minute since we’ve been there and we were pleasantly surprised how reasonable the prices are. If you know Nester’s they have terrible pricing. Choices is also more low key than Whole Foods; that place can be a bit much (love the smoothies and coffee tho).
oono tama: 少しお高めだが品揃えもよくて最高のスーパー!
saeed khazraei: Expensive prices for even small things. You can find cheaper prices one block away from here.
Sean Crockett: This is a great place to buy Acropolis Organics Extra Virgin Olive Oil!
Troy Tyrell: Great selection
Andrew HARRISON: Friendly and helpful staff. On the expensive side, but good place to food shop if not getting a lot of items.
Alejandro Fernandez: It’s a small and expensive place, but you can find delicious and unique stuff in there. Also it’s very organic, natural and all BC made, so that’s why all is expensive but it’s way too much. It’s a good place if it’s in your way and you need something quickly
Cinematic Street: Choices Markets at 1202 Richards Street is my favourite grocery store.  I like it because it’s a one stop shop.  It’s in my neighbourhood so I can walk there, it sells the products I need, and the staff are good.  What more can you ask for.I especially like the health food section (Wellness section) because it’s hard to find a good health food store in downtown Vancouver.  They also have a good deli with lots of healthy food choices and hot food too.Choices also has a lot of green products, like for cleaning your house, etc.  The store also stays open late, and seven days a week, which is good.  I highly recommend this grocery store.
Hannah Fraser: The store credit points system is totally worth signing up for. Saved $20 on my groceries today.
Lidia Vera: Genial 👍
Carl “Budd” Stymiest UE: Am excellent shope for those quick deli meals, but getting pricey.
P L: Quite a number of items on sale today. (Feb 14 2023)
Ali Moosavi: Pricey but great quality and right in the center of Yaletown. Bakery and organic meats are my favorites
R J: For a store that pushes healthy living, this is a very dirty and unkept store. There are unpleasant smells throughout, and it doesn't look clean, maybe that's a whole vegan stick. The outside of the building is also unkept with graffiti sprayed and dirty windows. The central vac air system doesn't seem to work very well as the air quality appears poor too. In the time of covid, whether vegan or not, I certainly will not be shopping here again
Mystic Medicines: Friendly and fresh fruit always
Diana Duarte: Good products and plenty of variety, but so overpriced.
Tess Brog: Prices are too much
Ricky Sykes: Stopped in to grab some milk and to see if the manager of the deli was around. She sure is helpful, a beautiful smile. A lovely woman
Gerald Joe: Good selection of organic & wild meat & seafood, veggies, fruits, ...

Whole Foods Market: what do users think?
Mario Sánchez: basics not in stock. typical semi rude staff except for the new guy that was utterly clueless
Shweta Sharma: While food is really good with great quality products. This location is almost on the verge of closing. Not many products and stock and staff.
Lukasz Czyzewski: Great selection happy staff! Parking can be a bit tricky
P L: Smaller version but still adequate for the neighbourhood.
Christy J: I've been here before while traveling and remember liking this store, but my visit yesterday was disappointing. Sections were pretty empty and not a lot of the whole foods options that I rely on like dairy free foods.
Kelly Dame: My friend is having surgery today and I wanted to give her flowers. I came to whole foods and picked out the flowers that I wanted. Harman was so helpful and friendly and she did the most amazing job arranging them!! I couldn't be happier and I know my friend is going to love them! The price was excellent too! A lot of love went into the floral arrangement!♥️
Kishan Geeganage: "Whole Foods Market on Cambie Street in Vancouver is a great grocery store with a wide variety of natural and organic products. The store is clean, well-organized, and offers a great selection of fresh produce, meats, and dairy products, as well as prepared foods, bakery items, and health and wellness products. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and the store has a great atmosphere. The location is convenient and easily accessible, with nearby parking and public transportation options. Prices can be a bit high, but the quality of the products and the variety of options make it worth it. Overall, a fantastic option for those looking for healthy and sustainable food options in Vancouver."
Fakhr Alrakwi: Ideal to enjoy people watching over the covered transparent curtain balcony top heated so you could be there even during winter time.Romantic strip lights over your head wich add more intimacy for your dating scene or Instagram photos
John Winkle: This location was very small. The quality of what was offered was high but the options were limited
Reza Tayebli: Very expensive but high quality
Steven Gomez: My first experience here years ago was terrible and I swore off this place. I've recently started going here again while in town and it's certainly gotten better. The once slow customer service at the checkstands is now more normal, even a bit expedient. The grocery selection, once starkly lacking, is now just okay, which is still an upgrade. They had much of what I was hoping to find at a Whole Foods. The hot bar selection is still fairly weak, but that's sadly true of a lot of Canadian WF locations these days. Overall, it's not bad anymore, and though I still prefer the Cambie location, this one is acceptable nowadays.
닐정 (Neil Jeong): Good.
Ben Daykinson: Great wholefoods, nice vibe and good selection
ns a: Fresh and inspiring. Lots of selection. Friendly till staff.
Meliza Polvorosa: Great selection at hot and cold salad bar. One of my favourite go-to places to pick up a a quick lunch.
Juana ordonez Sanchez: Is good 👍 to can to visit
Keerti Sahu: Good
ray nevill: Very clean, friendly staff.
Steve Altneu: Great vegan food

Whole Foods Market: what do users think?
Ty: I usually love Whole Foods but the recent deli changes are really disappointing. The Meal deal used to be decent value but they’ve raised the price by a dollar while also giving you 30%-50% less food. Please do away with the separated containers, this amount of food doesn’t justify $15.If you pay premium for basics you shouldn’t be gouged at the quick service stations. This is the same price and half the amount of food you’d get at chipotle across the street.
Alina Dulchevsky: Great location but when are you going to have online ordering and delivery? It’s 2023 already
Brody Isaak: Feeling healthy, may delete laterI’ve frequented this location for the past five years or so. In this time I’ve always been impressed by the quality of the produce, meats, cheeses, and find the house brand (365 Everyday Value) to live up to their namesakeIf you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing shopping experience with everything you need and nothing you don’t, this is your placeAlso, I find the staff to be particularly cheerful and interested in light conversation which makes your shopping experience even better. I'll keep adding photos to keep you updated on current trendsUpdate from fall 2022, at some point in the last few weeks they increased the parking by 66% from $3 to $5. The good news is that they still reimburse your parking if you spend over $10 I believe
Youngsung Byun: Great location, fresh products, and great selection of ready-to-eat food. However, it can be a bit expensive than other stores.
Natalie Wong: Bought a bouquet for my mom here and experienced the worst service ever. I asked if they could change the tissue paper as it they had chosen a dark green that my mom wouldn’t like. The woman who helped me, Sophie, changed the tissue paper for me but re-used the same outer brown paper to re-wrap the bouquet. This left the bouquet looking super wrinkly and I asked if she could change it. She quickly grabbed the bouquet out of my husband’s hands, walked to the back table, tossed the flowers on there, re-wrapped it poorly and brought it back. As she did this, we could also see that she was mumbling something under her breath. We left the store feeling disheartened as all we wanted to do was buy a nice bouquet for mother’s day. I called the store and spoke to a supervisor named Ivan, who was very understanding and apologetic. He assured me that he would speak to Sophie about this matter. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to any future customers. Because of Ivan, I am giving 4 stars.
MARTY BOA: Dreamed grocery store
K H: Very large sitting area food court area. Burrito bar, salad bar, hot food and cold food self serve bar ($3.65/100g), and sandwiches. You can get a lunch/meal here but it won’t be on the inexpensive side. Clean washrooms.
João Prado Ribeiro Campos: Great place, great foods
belquiria oliveira: Beautiful but expensive
Teresa: I provided feedback awhile back to a cashier about another cashier, the fact she was slow in the express lane. That particular cashier was informed and she accosted me the other day at London Drugs where she works as well. How inappropriate and unprofessional. If she is so thin skin, maybe look for another job. She was slow, even slower at LD.
Vicky Wen: I come here almost daily on weekdays for lunch for the past 4 yrs and do express checkout..it's always been great. I sometimes buy a paper bag if it was raining or I had no extra hands. But this year's experience is giving me a anxiety just to go in because of two encounters with the same cashier. The first time was a few months ago, I forgot my own bag and told her that I needed to buy a paper bag before she started scanning my items. I just saw her sending an elder lady away with a smile but she gave me the oddest looks and never said a word to me during checkout. I said hello, used my please and thank yous, wished her a good day. Told myself she had a long shift or was having a bad day. After I grabbed my fork at the utensil counter I happen to catch a glimpse of her shining the biggest smile at the customer after me. I didn't meet her at the checkout again until a few days ago..I brought whatever paper bag I had at my desk, it happened to be a chain coffee shop's bag...She look at me, looked at my bag, and asked if they were still providing bags, I told her yes, she then said"it's stupid" straight to my face, I couldn’t catch any tones that implied she was joking and was caught very off guard not expecting comments like that from a working professional. I know she was referencing to the bag but I still felt offended because I brought it. If I happen to be at her station again I will ask the person behind me to go ahead.
Alaleh Black: I love whole foods. I just bought an amazing gluten free vegan pizza. So good.
Law Mak: Whole foods will always be while foods. Expensive but nice and good quality. U pay for what u get here. Some things are over priced but it's food for a one stop shop of all this high quality. I come here for cheese and deli mainly. But lots of good selection of products over all.
aliz arandela: Friendly service at this whole foods market! Nobody was at the flower stand so the female security guard I believe Ashley was her name, went to go get somebody to help me. Then another female helped me to put the 2 bouquets I picked to rewrap it together which was $18 + $7, great price for a beautiful big bouquet!
Olive Wu: The price of coffee is reasonable, staff is friendly and location is great, but one time I got Americano which wasn't hot at all ,my day was ruined by having nasty coffee.
Stefan Niculae: Over and over and over again they keep providing frustrating service, mediocre quality and sky high prices
Natalie Chappell: Freshest quality produce displayed beautifully and it last longer in my fridge than produce bought from other stores.Incredible bakery and ready made food sections - spoilt for choice. Great juice and smoothie bar and also a coffee shop conveniently located upstairs with some great combo deals.I haven’t explored the dry and frozen food sections but there seems to be a huge variety of goods available there that are not available at other grocery stores.
K.T.: Terrible customer service. I went there always to do my grocery shopping. This happened last Monday evening around 7:30pm. I wanted to leave my cart quickly after paying to wash my hands and the lady in charge at the customer service is very rude by not considering keeping an eye of my cart. My point is that, at this moment of unprecedented time, you need to have a little consideration to your customer. Washing hands is simply doing their part to protect themselves and the safety of the staff working inside the store. Be considerate and accommodating at least during this times. Bad work ethics.
Sandy Fast: The quality was better and the cost of many products were cheaper than regular chain stores
Jana Ha: Always worth a trip
Julia Hornyak: Workers are very friendly and pleasant but the food area where you eat is never clean. The chairs are really dirty they need a good soapy wash. The white mesh ones at the wooden table.

The Low Carb Grocery Burnaby: what do users think?
Tim Cluett: All the low carb stuff you need...and maybe some you don't 😉
Neil Biggin: First-class service from these guys. Dozens of orders and zero errors. One breakage in transit was instantly replaced. I love the range of food for my low-carb diet. Shopping times are usually just a few days, I'm used to ordering when supplies are running low. In short, low-carb would be very difficult without them, I'm super grateful for the product choice, the service and the very fact that through Covid I managed to keep eating what I needed. 10 stars out of 5!
Sean Nickerson: Awesome store for your low carb needs. Great selection and friendly staff
Mike Papa: Love this place. Friendly staff that are warm and welcoming. Finally, I found the products I've been hunting for!
Stanley Sze: Friendly and helpful staff
rachel seo: I was very happy to see the variety of products there. I liked how the store carries many chips as there are not many authentic Keto chips. Love the sauces I purchased and the sales they have on a regular basis. Their frozen items are great too and they sell the friendly keto bakery items. Staff all nice and friendly. Have visited 3 times within the last few weeks and Im very satisfied with the service and product.
K H: Excellent service, very friendly and accommodating if you have any questions. Everything from Quest chips, Walden’s Farms, Joseph’s Pitas and lavash breads, sugar free jams, and Fiber gourmet pastas. I was very astonished at the selection, given they carry many American brands. Won’t have to be making the trip down south anymore. Just keep in mind that it is certainly pricier groceries. They have a rewards program too- make sure to sign up!
Michael Drewry: Absolutely love this place. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and it is an absolute life saver on a ketogenic diet.Been coming here once a week for months and never had an even mildly negative experience.
Carrie Tamblyn: Excellent customer service experience. My order is shipped to me and everything is very carefully packed and nothing is broken. Service is polite and accommodating.
John Irving: Nice low carb store. Prices are okay, not crazy for a low carb specific store. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Paul Adam: Prices are higher than online but your supporting a brick/mortar business. They do have alot in the store and some things you can't get online elsewhere..
Amanda Green: Nice variety of products, okay service, but all the sugar free chocolate I got from here was chalky and waxy as if it was much older than it was - practically inedible. The brand was the same as I get from lots of other stores and have never had this issue, and all items were well within the best before dates, so I can only imagine there may be some issues with how products are stored? If it were just one item I would let it go, but it was multiple items. I at least won't buy chocolate here again.
Kyle James-Patrick: I am very thankful for this store and their niche selection of carb free products.
Chris Smith: Great great great selection of low carb food! While our last 3 visits we had the pleasure of great customer service, our most recent visit was exceptional. The very nice associate politely offered us some samples that were absolutely delicious. Customer Service is what makes a store these days and my last experience was a 10 on the customer service level.
Barbara H: Shipping was stellar. The package arrived so fast! Customer service was superb.
Eileen Dooley: Lots of selection
Strata manager: Great products
Kevin Laolao: Has everything you need going thru a diet.
Tim Blunt: I have been buying from this organization since before they were in the West Coast. Focusing on Low Carb products. They have a Large variety of products for those on a Lower Carbohydrate Lifestyle.
Mel: The girl at the store was very friendly and she tried to be helpful but I was in and out in a few minutes as I was running errands. I liked how assorted the store was. I'd come back. I just wish it was closer to DT area but overall great!
Bob Carpenter: This place is a mecca for those looking for low carb options that are normally hard to find. I highly recommend the Cinnamon buns.

Michele Cake Shop: what do users think?
D Chow: There are an abundance of Chinese bakeries in the GVRD, this one in Kerrisdale is the best.Amazing fresh Mango Cake!Quality baked goods at very reasonable prices.
薇安: Push fruit tart, egg tart! Delicious
Chris Tsang: Good quality Chinese bakery with reasonable prices
Jenn X.: Such a little treasure... Mmmmm Mango cake! 😋
Ken Lalji: Great mango cake
karanveer singh: Mango cake tasted great!
Simin Bazargani: very well good test amazing
Christina D: Best cake I have had in Vancouver
Juan Manuel Marin Guasca: Delicioso
Violet L: I never really liked the service here but the cakes are very good indeed.
Ferlin: Cakes are good! Not too sweet and affordable. The breads and buns are good too. The only that thing that they should improve is the delivery notification. It's a hit or miss. Sometimes they will call or send a message when they're on their way to deliver your order and when they actually delivered it to your place. But I also experience just getting a mail notifying my delivery for my preferred time then nothing follows after.
김영복: good
Bera C.Y.C: A well deserved 5 Stars on service and quality.
Bryan Chen: I don't recommend ordering delivery from them anymore. We ordered a cake and some pastries from them today, the delivery driver's definition of delivery was to leave it in the lobby of a high-rise condo without letting us know that it even arrived. Apparently leaving temperature sensitive cakes outside in easily tampered with bags without the common sense act of calling the customers upon arrival seems reasonable to them.
50 plus MTB atbp: Cake look nice. Easy online order and prompt delivery. But lack of communication, no notification.
Freddy Hung: The Portuguese egg tarts, still on point.
Prinjaule Klang: We always buy our cakes from Micheles. The best ingredients, never too sweet and always fresh. We just had the matcha cake. Soooo delicious.
Hudson Hung: Staple in the community. Great fresh mango cake and egg tarts
Shannon T: I love this place. I’ve been coming here since I was a child and it has never disappointed me. I love all their buns, the white bread, and mango cake. I recently did a side by side comparison with the other bakery on 41st and Michele’s is hands down, without question, a far superior bakery.
Kingsley Ma: A very long standing bakery shop. The quality is always good even though they've significantly reduced their choices over the years which I miss.
HelloHi: Great tasting cakes and pastries. They are a bit on the pricier side, but the quality is amazing.

Marble Slab Creamery: what do users think?
Anna Judge: Huge lineup as expected but it moved very slow unfortunately due to being unable to hear each other due to to Covid screens. Understandably so. The staff work hard and are very friendly..
zhi li: The staff was terrible 👎 We waited in line for about 20 minutes, and finally placed our order with the staff. However, the man who made the ice cream had a terrible attitude, as if no one had told him what our order was. I ordered the cotton candy circus flavor, and he rudely kept asking me what ingredients it contained. I told him I just wanted the standard ingredients, but he responded with, "I don't understand." I really wanted to say that if he didn't even know how to make it, as a consumer, how would I know? If you don't know how to make ice cream, what are you doing there? Are you going to get angry at the customers? Very disappointed, I won't go there again.
Sara Bureau: Didn't have half of the ingredients listed on the ice cream I wanted. Man rushed me and was trying to put my ice cream into the cone while I was still trying to ask for mix-ins. WAY overpriced for the experience and result.
Prabh Toor: I visited this location and the staff was not at all listening. I asked the staff member to give me an extra cup with the ice cream cone but he did not listen and put the ice cream in cup and placed the cone on its top. I was really displeased with the service. When i tried to correct he added the chocolate crumble on mango ice cream which i never asked for.Though he made me a new ice cream but he never mixes my topping in it and also not even filled the cone. He just put the scoop on top of the cone but the cone was all hollow.Marble slab is one of my favourite ice cream shop but it was a really disappointing experience.
Sukhman Mann: The owner is so sweet and the service was very speedy.
Madeline Carlisle: Lovely service & great selection of ice cream. Tasted amazing & well suited for a sunny day.
Donna Beevor-Potts: Bit pricey but worth a splurge
Ahmad Awais: Delicious.
Don Olson: Excellent Ice cream and the staff mix it right in front of you on a marble slab! Advice: get some of the simple flavors and mix it up with toppings. If you get some of the 'fancy' flavors like "cotton candy" - they are already complicated, so you won't get any advantage from mixing it in on the marble slab.
Rome Hussain: Great service. Ice cream was tasty. Could be a little more cleaner.
Shyam Bhatasna: There is a girl she don’t want to make cone so she only offer cups
Andrea Hernandez: Their ice cream was excellent and the flavor was memorable. There were a lot of people looking to buy ice cream at this location as well when I visited this place before. The shop was also brightly colored and has a lively ambiance. People were also able to order the ice cream of their choice and then customize it with a variety of toppings.
Nanda: Love it! My favorite flavor from this shop is caramel peanut butter crisp! The milkshake is worth too try
Angela Ford: I am so attracted to this place. I went to various ice cream stores here at Vancouver and Marble Slab is one of my favorites. I love the cotton candy ice cream! I was so surprised with its special flavor! One time, I am much more excited than my niece in going to this place, I keep on talking about it in the car.
liam reale: Never experienced an ice cream parlour weigh out a scoop and then ask for a tip
Coco C: Lots of delicious ice cream flavours to choose from. I also had a lovely interaction with the staffs.
Home Evansridge: Great ice cream. Especially the raspberry cheesecake. Very tasty and great services
ivan cao: Great icecream.
Rachael George: Bought the two scoop waffle cone. Came to just under 9 dollars after tax, they weigh the icecream instead of actually doing two full scoops and it doesn't seem worth the price tag. I asked for two fillings of brownie and mint chunks. To my surprise there were a ton of nerds as well. I said oh there are nerds.. when I didn't ask for them and they said oh is that okay? I didn't want to be rude and ask for them to remake it, they should have just fixed it without asking me if that's okay. It was gross. Nerds with mint and chocolate icecream are not a texture or flavour you want. The icecream was also melting like crazy by the time I got it. I ended up throwing most of it out.
Takaya: It's always funny when you walk into a icecream store, or any store really and you see these people working...You know right away your not getting a large serving and definitely going to skimp on the topping. When's the last time you get what you pay for from these "new residents". 🇨🇦
Tessa Tam: The ice cream has no flavour (dark chocolate tastes like air) and it’s melting really fast, dripping everywhere. Toppings might be fun for kids but taste like plastic.EVEN WORSE was seeing a guy mixing my ice cream in blue gloves (which were wet) coming to the register and handling bills and change in the same gloves and then went back to mix other people’s ice creams without changing his gloves. My change was sticky and guess the next person’s ice cream smelled like coins 🤢Would not go back here even if it was free. Dirty, flavourless and 1 large scoop ends up costing about $11 in a cone.

s: Expensive but lots of cute stationary, East Asian makeup, skin, and hair products. Upstairs grocery
T T: They have the best tasting buns at their bakery!! Only thing is they are a tad pricy, if they could lower the price a little, it would make it more worth it.
Sara Jones: I love the huge variety this store has!
Trevor B: Hmart is awful. Way too overpriced
MI Five: Glass noodles with veggies and rice cake in spicy sauce both tasty and can be found in pickup hot bar section. A little pricey $10 in total considering no meat and tiny to no veggies. Hot sauce or chili sauce has weird flavor. Noodles are mixed with sesame sugarn and soy sauce and delicious. Went for chicken katsu curry for first time but it was closed along with another food court restaurant. Prices at HMart are made for tourists and downtowners $10.99 for carbonara dry ramen noodles while everywhere else is $7.99. Rent must be high.
John Chong: They looked better than they tasted. A bit dry/leathery and overbrined. Maybe this is what I get for being their first order of the day? I may return...
Alicia: This is a convenient location if you are around downtown Vancouver. Not the widest selection of Asian produce and slightly pricey which doesn't surprise me since it is downtown. And some goods are imported so there's a markup on the products too. Most employees there are multilingual in English and Korean. So far most I've approached have been helpful. I usually get Japanese beverages, kimchi, noodles and sauces from here. I've not bought any fresh produce from here yet. I would prefer if there was house-made kimchi like PAT in Toronto so that they're made locally and fresher without preservatives.Another comment is on their membership. You'll need to download a PDF form and get that processed in person at a Customer Counter. It will be good if that can be processed directly online and with fewer questions around the ethnicity considering that data isn't a useful input for this purpose of grocery shopping.
charlotte: So many moldy vegetables and fruits. 9 times out of 10 when I picked up a fruit/vegetable it was moldy. Not impressed. A nice snack selection and downstairs area though
왕희순: 생각보다 상품들도많고 군고구마도 너무 맛있어요!
Hiroshan Gunawardane: If you are in town and if you need a quick meal, they have an in-house food outlet, with Japanese, Korean, and Chinese food. A great place to have a quick chicken Karage lunch. Remember, it's not a restaurant but more like in-between a restaurant and food court. Sometimes it's crowded and you need to wait a bit to get a seat.
Eden: Suspecting I had foodborne illness from eating the sushi here yesterday. Sushi were stored at room temperature. Ate at 3pm, uncontrollable diarrhea twice this morning and nausea.
rosa p: Quick eats, delivered. Chicken was crisp and tasty, 짜장면 chewy with mild seasoning, 설렁탕 warm and comforting, and 된장찌개 flavorful and hearty. Delivery was prompt and friendly.
Michael So: The Korean food court place is hit and miss. I usually come here for their seafood pancake (which was great value and crispy in the past), but this time I got takeout and it came out soggy and was mostly dough without much seafood. Wanted to give their fried chicken a try as well. It came out looking nothing like the photo, tasted bland, and had lots of bones. Ordered the soy garlic and hardly any sauce on it. Not worth $30. Very disappointed.
Alisha Wong: ig the employees way before were rude.. but i go there quite a bit (artbox/downstairs sometimes upstairs if i crave a snack but ion go a lot) but for artbox: the employees r rlly nice n hv helped me a few times n no they don’t follow ppl around. myb employees in the past did but i go there enough to say they absolutely do not follow u around. they’re very kind n helpful
Seonyoung Lee: Love weekend deals
Jiahao Chen: tuna maki is okay, but bean sprouts is below expectation
lai ricky: 還不錯逛,全是韓國人
cactus: They overcharged me significantly at checkout compared to the stickers on the shelves
eva y: Don’t recommend the Korean counter at food court.
Lychee Miaw: I really love this Mart! Everything is super cute!!

Safeway Davie Street: what do users think?
CharlieMusic: Originally we gave five stars, but an experience happened that made us change our mind. We had an unfortunate incident with a cashier, Sim*n, who tossed paper bags our way when we asked for them and left us to bag our products ourselves. But she then enthusiastically made conversation with the next customer in line and helped with her bags. This cashier doesn’t seem quite fit for this retail business, and hopefully if she reads this, she will understand that “architecture is also a field in which cooperation and civility is very important if she ever decides to make good on her college degree.”.also Safeway customer service is also a joke or something.. look all the one star comment, the attitude of the cashier is always the problem but Safeway Company seems really don’t care about that! If you want a better shopping experience, maybe try another one!
Amina Abdulla: Love this neighbourhood store!
Azin Ehsan: There should be more health and foodsafe measures in play. There was a fly in the pastry section helping itself to sweet treats!
ANAS KHAN: Great discounts especially on meats.
J ason: Safeway is not known for deals.. but this Safeway is amazing for it.
Tanya Culic: Large selection
Delano: I think this location is undergoing some kind of renovation. There are empty sections of aisle and floors taken up. The basil display, I'm not sure what's happening with that. There's a new coin machine kitty-corner to the cigarette counter so they can't be moving.I checked the machine by the way. There's an 11.9% fee by the way, for the coins service. I wish I'd taken a picture.
CP C: Piano playing. Great atmosphere. Super convenient with free underground parking!
Moses Moses: Safeway used to be so amazing but now they are just so expensive. The hot food deli used to see good now its a sight for sore eyes.Staff are not engaged and on the phone, do not smile and acknowledge customers , which is a shame because it was completely the opposite before all these renovations and changes to the safe way culture. The other day I was waiting at the the deli for someone to serve me - I realized there were only 2 people - there was no one else waiting - the guy there was offloading the roast chickens , he saw me yet he did nothing . He could have said “I’ll be right there “ . I waited and then went to the lady who was puttering around and I asked her “ May I get some help ?’ And she literally rolled her eyes . Sad treat never used to be this way . Why has their service gone down the drain ? .On aMore positive note the Pharmacy staff are the best I have ever dealt with . They show genuine compassion care and concern , probably the best pharmacy staff I have ever dealt with . I hope Safeway at Davie can do something to increase their staff morale . Seems like the staff there are unhappy , just not bothered or just don’t care. Please bring your service levels up to par ! You can do it !
Radbin Keyvan: Freendly place
Dmitry: the store is amazing, but kind of overpriced
Sev N: I asked for two chicken samosas from the hot food section. The worker (some middle-aged guy with blonde hair) grabs two beef samosas. I tell the guy that he grabbed beef samosas. He tells me it's chicken, places the two beef samosas in the chicken samosa section, and grabs the two beef ones again. The guy looks at me with eyes of guilt as he does this, knowing what he's just done. I just walked away as he's trying to give me two what appears to be old beef samosas.
B L: Prices are significantly higher here, than the supermarket in Denman Mall.
Justin solidum: Nice shopping experience. Friendly staff and very convenient to local transit.
Harald Eberl: Very nice layout and good safe atmosphere / checkoutAlso great service. December 2022 - still have a great selection of food products customer service was great today
Flo: Really nice and friendly staff at the deli bar. Delicious sandwiches!
Tyeesha Fleming: Shoutout to AMANDA in the Deli Department. She is a sweet angel who has saved the day for me over and over. 10/10 if you need someone kind, patient and willing to just help.. She's your gal.
Shawn: Nice
Keith MacInnis: Price gouging in full effect here. Salads and drinks have seen more than a 100% increase compared to a month ago. The sweet kale salad was 9.49 and the lemonade drink was 4.89, up from 2.49.
M Schembri: The fish department at this store is the best I have seen in Vancouver. It is always clean, super fresh and tasty, unlike everywhere else. Most fresh fish in Vancouver has a strange taste as though someone put a solution on the fish to keep it fresh. Not here. Kudos to Andre who has been with the company for a long time. He stands by the quality of his fish!
Stephen Coventry: Typical grocery store. With a very weird floor plan. Not customer friendly lay out.Very disheveled floor plan.Architectures should have paid for attention.

Choices Markets: what do users think?
Star C: Got everything I need but I was followed by a security guard throughout the store, as I picked out my groceries and put them in my basket. It was very uncomfortable and I just wanted to leave, but I needed groceries. I had to face him head on, wave cheese in the air, and say “I’m going to buy this”. Imagine if I didn’t speak English. This place is racist, period. Gave 2 stars b/c the cashier was friendly, and I could tell they felt embarrassed.
Dan M-L: Great selection of products. Reasonable prices. Helpful staff.
Wade Barrie: Robbery. Prices are atleast 20-25 percent higher than anywhere else in this city. Go to Donalds or any other grocery store in the neighbourhood.
Jodi Jackman: Lots of vegan options here, wonderful produce and when there's a sale, it's a pretty good one! Lots in stock! REALLY stocked up on Voilife brand vegan cheezes, yogurt...like $3 off each!!
Benjamin Atbi: Most depressing store in Vancouver. All the cynicism of gentrified urban living can be found within these dusty, dimly lit, DEEPLY overpriced aisles. Only a mindless homunculus trying to masquerade as a genuine human being could be tricked into shopping here.
Big Ave: decent selection but horrible prices, and yet another chain to put a locally owned cooperative out of business.
antonio lopez: Security now seem like watch to many TV series
Antonio ferrante: Always a good place to buy produce, Pricey but you usually have no issues with flavour and quality
Randy Galler: Quality food,It's close to where I live
Homayoon Fotros: yes it's clean and organic and organized and fresh and local and yadada... , but EXPENSIVE and not quite a good for budget folks.
Brian Merkosky: Most expensive grocery store I've ever been to. I thought prices were bad on the sunshine coast, usually Vancouver grocery is so much cheaper but not this store. Go elsewhere if your on any budget...
Bernie Fiphe: Rotten produce, prices 3x what they should be. Can of hearts of palm was 'on sale' here for 7.50. Walmart has them for 2.50. This store is terrible.
cheyenne berle: Friendly staff
stephen olson: Choices has good selection of food that is organic and of good quality at the same time being very pricey and sometimes too expensive for a small budget although service remains very high and cleanliness is very high and hours open are fine and such things are high ....people getting help are very good....and management is good generally speaking ....accessibility is excellent and very well done for many people....including wheelchair accessibility and store hours.
M D: I think they change prices on a daily basis, increasingly expensive to shop there for the most basic items.
Melina Sadeghi: It was my first time going there, if you are a supporter for locals this is the place !!! Lots of stuff and varieties , plus, super friendly staff! Good job manager happy staff happy store!!! And the customers definitely will get the vibe!!
egbert mandersloot: Expensive
helen spaxman: I don't shop at this Jimmy Pattison owned store. I preferred the food co-op across the street or at least the locally owned Sweet Cherubim, who both nurtured and developed the organic and natural foods Market in East Van.
Lucy Cillo: Prices are very high
