Francis Leong: Amazing experience. Went to apple store and try get latest iPhone 12 with the initial thought might be a long queue. Seems like quite a number of people is there for online reservations and collection. I went for normal queue to buy iPhone 12 on the spot which there's only 3 or 4 people before me. Waited like 5 minutes and purchased iPhone with apple specialist one on one help. Everything is sanitisation before handed over to me. And, I'm the store in 10 minutes or so. Very good shopping experience with Apple Store and its customer specialist.

Jaden Gao: Aside from the impressive architecture and great interior design, I visited an Apple store yesterday and did not feel welcomed at all. A worker with a bad attitude ordered me to leave the store 15 minutes before closing. While I could understand that it had been a long day of work, he did so with a straight face and without any care for my experience. It really made me feel uncomfortable and was probably the opposite of what I would have expected from an Apple store.

Seems like Apple's high standards end after purchasing a brand new device.

Raphael Mendes: I've been using Apple products since 2016, and I have never had a lousy consumer experience in their stores as in this store. I went there last week to buy a gift for my wife to celebrate our 9th anniversary and buy an Apple Watch. I could not buy the gift or the watch because nobody helped me, even though someone put my name in what I thought was an online query. I thought that maybe it was just a bad day and tried it again and returned to the store today. Again, nobody asked if you needed help, and there was no clear sign of what you should do and with whom you should talk to have your name listed in the query.I have visited several Apple stories, and in all of them, the consumer experience is fluid and effortless. Maybe Apple's Pacific Centre needs someone at the front door or a sign saying where to put your name to be helped.

Bernhard Riecke: The genius bar folks can be super-useful, but the phone service is terrible, you constantly get dropped from the call ( a dozen times in my case), and the automated system is rather annoying.update: after several failed attempts to repair and fix my computer, after almost 1/2 a year the Apple store promised to "escalate" to technical support at Apple, and exactly nothing happened. A dozen phone calls with Apple later they finally agreed to replace my computer, but charged me erroneously for it, and twice the amount of the new computer. Sorry but Apple customer service is getting really bad and their system is a mess.

Eventually I got notification that the order was delivered when in fact it was not. I had to call the Apple Customer Support and chase it. Their excuse was that the address did not indicate the apartment number - which was a lie. Nobody tried any kind of delivery.

Christie Yang: Came here with my mom to buy an iPad but my mom wanted to know about the pros and cons of each model. I was distracted looking at other products and when I came back she was still confused. I asked her if she had spoken to any sales associate and she said no one was coming to help her (it was not busy at all). There was a man who looked like he was the floor manager and I waved him over asking if we could get some help. He literally looked at me and said "sorry we don't have any cantonese speaking sales associates working right now". I was kinda taken aback and I literally responded with "uh okay? English is perfectly fine?". My mom and I were speaking English the entire time in the store, and we don't even speak cantonese we speak mandarin. His comment was completely unnecessary and kinda unprofessional. Atleast come up to us and try to help us before making assumptions that we need a translator. The worker who helped us out wasn't super welcoming either.

His associate called my device vintage in a sarcastic tone, offered me dead eye stare of silence and said bad things about us to his manager G in front of us! I will suggest retraining this employee. G later told us about his Tesla and Nike life style as bragging rights. 0/10 never again.

david rose: Apple store at MetroTown is a great store. They helped a me get one of my older IPhones (11 pro max) functioning perfectly again. I didn't even have to wait for an appointment.koodos to the young lady that helped me. I didn't get her name? The only thing that kind of Let Me Down was that I asked another girl that worked in the store if she had a lightning connector charger wire and she didn't know what I was even talking and looked at me like I was from the '90s lol.I don't think she had a clue what she was doing but another shout out to one of the guys that overheard what I needed and quickly came over and gave me a cord as my phone was on 5% and he looked at what was going on and said "you're on your way now" So I was really appreciative of his service!. I wish I knew his name too.Overall a good, fast experience and they got my phone working just like it was when it broke and I put it away a couple years ago. Being a techie I have as much phones as possible and like to stay Cutting Edge and have a s22 as well as the s23 ultra and have since upgraded to a 13-pro Max and then a 14 pro Max but this was sitting in the cupboard collecting dust and I thought why not fix it since it was only $130. Just don't go there on the weekend. And try to go during the week during the day and you'll get great service.

Then another person comes, and you better be quick because I talked to 4 people when I visited twice in the last week and they were all impatient to questions and comments from you.When the "employee" told me I am now on the list and it will take 30 minutes for me to talk to someone, I asked how come? And she said that's the system. I asked well I know what I want, you have it in store, can I just not pay for it? She stated that I need to talk to a designated person, genius or something first. I said that's a counter productive system, why would I wait 30 minutes when I can just grab the product and go by my way? She told me verbatim "This is the system, deal with it."I don't expect this review but make any difference. I just wanted to say my piece. Highly overrated products and fake egotastical system.If you really want an apple product, just order online and talk to customer service online. They are much better.

I was literally 'swarmed' by salespeople within 30 seconds of entering the store. As soon as the person I was with touched a product, wham, all over us. I despise this kind of overzealous and pushy marketing. If I need your help, I can see you. There are 20 salespeople on the floor. Until then, leave me alone. ROGUE 47: Really good experience yesterday. Great customer service by (pretty sure I've got the name wrong, my apologies) Brent ?I bought my first iphone yesterday (not in this store). Well, I went into the Apple store and stood in front of the phonecases with absolutely no idea. He approached me really friendly and offered help, which was obviously needed. He helped me out with case, charger and headphones. I tried it the last 24 hours and everything works just perfect. His expertise and advice with the headphones was fantastic. Since I've got tiny ears he suggested the smallest version. They fit ideal. Also really appreciated his honesty. Would go to this store any time.Thank you!

StoicHR: I went to pick up my order only to find they *mishandled* my order and dropped it with deep dent. Apple products easily go for over $1000. The staffs need to handle inventories more carefully. It's a shame Apple's eco packaging means minimal packaging with less protection and staffs better be more responsible.
Jake S: I had an absolute amazing customer service experience today, thanks to Mo. I came in looking to upgrade my phone - of which I knew nothing about. Mo explained all the options and made making a decision so easy. Mo even helped me bring my monthly Telus plan down by $10 a month, with 50% more data! Very impressed with his service. I HIGHLY recommend upgrading your phone through Apple and ask for Mo!

The person replied yes.So I made the appointment at the Coquitlam Apple Store for the replacement. When I arrive, a so called “genius” tells me that it’s going to cost $95 plus taxes!!It was useless arguing with him, my time was already wasted, so I went ahead with the battery replacement.Nice one Apple!!……did someone say “price gouging “ ? 涛Tao: 曾经在这家店有过愉快的购物经验,手机,笔记本电脑, 等等…而且昨天家里人刚刚又购入了一台新手机📱. 作为苹果的老客户,今天的感受是 ,今天接待我的工作人员(忘记问名字)一个矮个子长发女子 ,黑衣服;其他大部分工作人员都是穿的绿T恤; 可能卖不卖出去产品,对她没有任何影响吧,所以她才会以如此非专业的态度在我已明确告知购买意向后,而且 在业务已经进行了一半的时候,她以需要break 的借口,逃之夭夭. 然后更恶劣的是一个叫becca 的自称是这个店的管理者 和负责人,在听完她的耳语后,没有询问事情的经过,没有任何专业的管理者的该有的态度,语气强硬,咄咄逼人,甚至摆明了她不会让其他工作人员继续为我服务!OMG 真是太有“权利”了啊 呵呵 !俗话说顾客就是上帝,细节决定成败;管理者都这个德行,还能带出什么好队伍,👎👻

Maggie Lee: Lol looking thru all these comments made me laugh so bad, but some of them are really serious.Lemme share, first of all, the people there kept convincing you to buy stuff, I went in and bought a 14 pro max 256gb paying full, then when i was leaving, with my bag, sat on the couch outside opening my phone, the girl came and ASKED ME IF I WANTED A PHONE CASE, I was totally in shock, I said no and then she walked away. Alright, awesome try convincing me to spend another 50-80bucks on this piece of plastic.Then, there’s people quite supportive, there’s a few guys and two girls you will want to talk with( they r all tall), super HELPFUL i promise, they are trained well, follows your needs and everything.Lastly it’s just about the place, pretty organized and nice, a little crowded tho, a lot of kids playing games on the phones so sometimes it’s hard to look around.
Lora C: Walked in around 1pm on Sunday. Store was packed. It’s been a long time since I stepped foot into a physical Apple Store. Good to see that staff training has not changed since the stores opened. The people I dealt with were professional and efficient. Although I didn’t get my issue resolved in a satisfactory way and I was not happy and showed it, the staff still acted in a professional manner. ( the issue wasn’t something the staff had direct control over, had more to do with how Apple, the trillion dollar behemoth does business ). Shout out to Claire, who helped me in the wireless audio section.

Then we were forced to go from UBC to rmd again to exchange the product. The staffs in the store didn't feel any guilt or even apologize, they looks like wondered if we had brought a fake one to replace the new one. I feel so disappointed that such a large company has such an uncomfortable attitude from the staffs. If possible, I'll definitely not consider buying any Apple products next time. Kind of wasting time!

MS: its useless to buy online and pick it up in this store location because after you called in their store number and said, “its been delivered and ok to pick up,” then asked if its ok to pick up if theres no confirmation email, and said, “its ok” then when its time to pick it up, they said, “its not yet there and its still processing in their system.” poor customer service..they all say different things..update: the apple employee explained to me that my item was indeed received in their store location but due to somehow problem in their system, it was sent back to the warehouse. to make it worst, they did not even bother to tell me that it happened so that we can just cancel that order and buy it from the other store. not sure if they are only thinking about the sales record than having happy customer. take note: this happened before christmas day.its a christmas gift which was suppose to arrived before christmas but due to wht happened, it was received after christmas already that ruined its gift giving.

Despite getting off work late, I rushed to the Apple Store, determined to make my purchase before closing time. I arrived at the store within minutes, demonstrating my commitment to acquiring an Apple product.To my dismay, the sales executive at the store made an issue out of the fact that only 10 minutes remained before closing time. I was shocked by their lack of empathy and understanding, especially considering that my arrival was well within the remaining time. It was a matter of mere minutes, and yet the sales executive displayed an unwillingness to assist me.As a customer, I expected better treatment and a more accommodating approach from an esteemed company like Apple. I’ve been having some trouble with my 2020 iMac lately; running Adobe Premiere.I had intended on bringing my computer in to Mac Place this Saturday to get it checked out. I thought it would be a good idea to call beforehand to lay out the details of what’s been going on.Ben picked up the phone and educated me on my situation. He said it was incredibly likely that the ram is the problem. He was very familiar and knowledgeable about the issues I was having and helped me through everything right there on the phone.Didn’t ask for a dime, nor did he request a review. He was just a decent guy; humane, and helpful. It was such a pleasant surprise, and a real pleasure to talk to him. Such decency. Wow. What a special place.

Lily McGraw: I've been living on the north shore for years and I'm so disappointed that I never learned about Mac Place LTD sooner.All these years of paying Apple repair prices for maintaining devices are over for me. If you have any Apple device that needs repair, I highly recommend you call Mac Place first. My mid 2011 iMac wouldn't boot up and I thought for sure I was going to throw it out as I figured it would cost more to fix than just getting a new iMAC, but I thought, can't hurt to call someone on the north shore with a good reputation and see if they can fix it.I called Mac Place as they were just half a block away from where I lived and was able to drop it off within 10 mins of calling them. As soon as I dropped it off, the repair person had the screen off and diagnose the issue as a failed power supply within 5 minutes and gave me a quote of 150 to fix it, 85 for the parts and 65 for the labour. I was so surprised that it was a no brainer to go ahead and do it as I was planning on using my iMac as a secondary monitor and this was way cheaper than buying a new Apple monitor. In addition, he found that the left fan was failing and replaced it for just the cost of the part which was $25 and didn't charge me labour for it.I was able to get my iMAC fixed within a couple of hours. I can't think of any other business that operates this efficiently and professionally. I was blown away at the level and quality of service. Watching the technician take apart my iMAC at the speed and care that he did tells me he's been doing this for years and extremely confident at what he does.Don't let the size of these smaller businesses fool you, these are the diamonds in the rough that are hard to find and when you find them, you want to keep them. I highly recommend Mac Place for all of your Apple service repairs. They are indeed awesome!

My computer suddenly wouldn’t turn on this morning and when I took it in to Mac Place they were able to inspect it immediately and helped me fix it free of charge. This was after I’d gone to a different store where they told me my 2014 MacBook was “vintage” and replacement parts were not available (and almost convinced me I needed to purchase a new computer). I’d highly recommend and will definitely be back the next time I’m having computer troubles. The best!

We were told a diagnostic inspection was free.Upon bringing the computer home, we noticed the bluetooth no longer worked, (bluetooth keyboard no longer connected.)We took the computer back, explained the situation, and the three men working there immediately lost their temperament, raised their voices arguing we're lucky they gave us a free diagnostic inspection for such an old computer (which is their policy...)If you do not inspect old iMacs, explain to the customer upfront. Do not open it, break something, then blame it on the computer.I was disappointed, frustrated and extremely upset with their argumentative reaction.We decided not to bring our computer back as we saw the argument of "we can fix this, but something else may break" as a red flag- but moreover- disgusted at the treatment we received.We had previously purchased our desktop iMac from them years ago but will not be returning.

I contacted the Mac Place and they were very honest in telling us that there is a recall on the keyboard and that we should go to the Apple Store directly for a free repair. Mario Amabile: I recently had an issue with my mid 2012 Mac Book Pro.I called around to a few shops and they recommended contacting Mac Place. I called and spoke with Aziz and asked about repair costs, diagnostic fees etc. The shop does not charge diagnostic fees and I felt that I was in good hands based on our phone conversation so I took my Mac to their shop. They were able to diagnose the problem and repair my Mac in 2 business days and only did so after explaining the nature of the issue and the value of the repair relative to the current value of my Mac. In addition to that repair, they kindly tweaked a few things for me such as replacing a few screws, repairing the wifi antenna, and of course the main job, replacing the logic board.I appreciated their professionalism/ speedy work and the repair comes with a 90 day warranty as well. So I recommend without hesitation this shop for repairs and also for sales of used Macs, for which they have a great selection at reasonable prices.Thanks guys!

John Leach: I took my 15-year old MacBook Pro laptop to Atif, proprietor of Apple & Berry, when the keyboard letter c stopped "working". An Apple technical specialist at another shop had told me it wasn't worthwhile to fix the problem. Atif used his extensive experience to make a calm, clear assessment of the potential causes, solutions, and difficulties. Then he found the same MacBook Pro model in storage and installed components from it to reactivate mine. Atif was polite, respectful, professional, and straightforward throughout, and charged a very reasonable price. In 2022 he replaced the screen on this laptop. I'm grateful to Atif for its continued existence and performance.
Hikari: Good service. They get things done and ready to help if something goes wrong. My phone's damaged screen was replaced, but a problem with the mic occurred, so I came back, and it was fixed right away. There was also a misunderstanding between me and the repair person, and they refunded me half of the money I paid. In general, I can recommend this place, but I advise you to ask questions connected with the service you request to make sure they'll do exactly what you want to be done.
Brooks Nicols: Got a case and curved tempered glass screen protector for my new/used S9. They seemed pretty equipped to outfit most phones and seemed to have the skills to repair most devices.
Alex Mak: Atif was very professional and timely. I came in with a camera issue on my iPhone 13 Pro Max and it was fixed without a hitch in the time they quoted. I called before heading in and Atif was able to ask me questions that other shops didn't even bother covering. This gave me the reassurance that he really knew what he was doing!
