H2 Rotisserie & Bar: what do users think?
Nik Martynov: Great service, but the menu is boring and food was bland, overall not bad but doesn’t stand out at all.
Ghazal: We were walking past this place so we decided to give it a try. It was their Nashville night and they had pretty good deals and live music. We ordered a H2 burger, a Nashville chicken sandwich that came with a beer, and banana puddings for dessert. Everything tasted good and the prices were reasonable. We had a great time!
Randy Bender: We had an awesome evening tonight listening to the live entertainment while enjoying the fabulous food and drinks. The service was spot on and a big thanks to Melanie for making sure we had good seating...it was a huge reason the experience was so positive.
Mauricio Mejia: Service was amazing. Food, not at allFood: 2/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

Becky Kozak: Stayed at the westin bayshore and had a great experience. Had dinner twice- our server suggested the ribs and they were plenty and tasty, and our second night we barely made it for happy hour and grabbed a delicious bottle of wine for a great price, and 2 sandwiches. Highly recommend the Carolina BBQ sauce, the original BBQ and the smoked mushroom sandwich!

Stephen Siu: This was too delicious to put into words. Service was also kind and gave me an extra dessert since we only ordered one dineout
Michael S: Great rotisserie!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Chloe Chan: Food wasnt great, service was subpar as well. Came for DineOut and Happy Hour, drinks were good! We got both the Gin in the Garden and For Mom and Apple Pie. The DineOut menu however was not worth it. Food tasted mediocre and the portions were really small. Quality control was also non-existant since each dish we got seemed to have varying portion sizes.
Sarah: Came here for Dineout on a Thursday at 6:15pm. Out of the three entrée options only one was available. The server was nice but rushed us - leaving no time to think of any other options after realizing we were not able to order the dishes we wanted. This restaurant opens at 5pm for dinner, so I have no idea why both the chicken and oyster mushroom entrees were not available. It was also not busy, so it is very odd why we were so extremely rushed. Perhaps they were understaffed, but at the end of the meal the server (although nice enough) took our cards and tapped the machine himself saying that he would be faster than if we did it. As he rushed us incredibly, there was no time to think before he already took the card out of our hand to tap the machine.Overall, this Dineout was a fail for our group as the only choice we were able to make was of the two appetizer options. Only one option was available for the entrée, and there was only one option of dessert to begin with. If the food was amazing, we would not have minded as much.. but nothing came out hot, just warm, and the cuts for the main were very inconsistent (one of us got meat that was twice the size of another one). Same with the dessert, some of us had a cluster of pecans with barely any caramel drizzle while another only had only one pecan but more caramel drizzle. Seems as though things were rushed inside the kitchen as well.
Hans Sy: Came here for DineOut 2023.Menu offers 3 mains: Beef Brisket, Chicken, and Mushrooms. Coming in as a group, we wanted to try it all, but they only had Beef available, unfortunately. We ordered by 7pm, but the other tables had ordered all of the other chicken.Food came, but wasn't hot and ready. Very filling, but beef was a little dry. Cant help but feel it was rushed.Atmosphere and vibes were beautiful. Waiter was rushing, but very kind, almost over bearingly?I feel the location was understaffed, which would explain the quality my party received throughout the evening. Hopefully things improve, I would give H2 another chance. At this price point, I do expect more.PSA: A gratuity is not a charge. This location insists they charge 18% for large parties. Which is fine, I dont usually dispute it. But if I could tip, I would give 12%.
MsLucre CAS: If you are a Filipino diner, avoid this restaurant! One female Filipino reception-server (wearing black uniform with shoulder length hair) at abt 9am, was so mean to us. We requested for a window table & she said "if we were willing to wait." We took the offer to sit down using non-window table. When one window-table became available in-front of us, I approached same Filipino staff that I was speaking with & asked if we could move to that & she said "NO, you can't have it & besides you only have an hour to dine here, we are closing soon." She gave the table instead to a Caucasian diners. We were left feeling speechless. It is a shame that she didn't appreciate us because we happened to be Filipinos too. Worst - it was like telling us "you can only dine for an hour!" Then, another Caucasian staff approached us & she was not patient to take our orders & left. The staff appeared to be serving well the Caucasian diners than Filipino-looking diners. We were going to walk out but decided to give it one more chance. Kareema (non-Filipino staff) by chance noticed that we had been there for long & nobody was serving us, and she was kind enough to take our orders. I told her about the humiliation that we were having & then suddenly the same Filipino server-staff came back to us and kept on explaining her reasons and blah blah blah, it was very shameful that she came back to us three times to tell her reasons infront of everyone - very loud & arguing with us. We really felt very humiliated. If not for Kareema, we would just walk out. One Filipino-server-staff was bossy on us instead of giving us the best experience as it's a new year. This place sucks if you are Filipino diner! Repeat and repeat ---- if you are a Filipino diner, go somewhere else and AVOID this restaurant/hotel because you do not want to be humiliated by a bossy Filipino-server-staff. She should NOT be in that restaurant if she could NOT appreciate a Filipino diner. It is a shame on her as the other staff members were nice to us.

Chambar Restaurant: what do users think?
Mina: Such a great experience. The meal was amazing, the staff were so friendly, and the flavours were top notch.
Veronnica: Absolutely amazing food. They were also very good with my food allergies. Not only was I accommodated I had flavorful and amazing food. Went for brunch, which is hard to get my egg, dairy, and gluten allergy accommodated but it was amazing. They have an amazing gluten free bread, without egg and dairy.Their bacon and apple side was the most incredible bacon I’ve had in forever. Must get.Was told their dinner menu is extremely gluten free, dairy free, and egg free friendly.
Brenda W: Service was very good. However the mussels were so-so. Some mussels were overcooked, some smelled fishy (not fresh), some stringy and some fresh. Not sure what happened.
Sandeep Dhaliwal: Good food.
Kate Blackwood: perfect perfect perfect, what could be improved? absolutely nothing. their waffles? show stopping, met with great service and a cute area. Doesn’t seem too busy either, but it’s always nice to make a reso just incase
Jo B: The moule frites is my favourite dish of all time! A must get. The sour dough is also tasty. I love that they have mocktail options. The vibes inside are fine dining with none of the expectations of that. It’s a really great place to stop for dinner.
Leslie Gilker: Tasty Sunday brunch with the kids. Everything was delicious and finished with their famous waffles and tasty dipping saucesFood: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Lloyd Gerry: Very delicious brunch. The beer selection was wild. Some really amazing European beers. Would recommend!!!Recommended dishes Braised Short Ribs …More
Claire Blair: Dinner here was great, as always. Amazing food, service and ambience. Was expecting to have steak frites but when that wasn’t on the menu we ordered the bison carpaccio and it was sooo good. The Congolese mussels and broth are so delicious and I’m always surprised how many are in there! Very filling. They have such a great liquor menu too, including hard-to-find Belgian Trappist beers, and Fortaleza tequila. Fun to sit at the bar and converse with the friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Mark: Moules Frites - Congolaise - Probably the best/freshest/largest mussels I have ever had. Fries were kind of an afterthought and nothing special but would recommend getting a side of sourdough bread so you don't waste all the sauce.
Hyunju Jo: Foooooods are great!!! Wanna visit every quarterly. Because they change the menu quarterly(or seasons?)
Tony Durke: Went to an organized event there on Friday and the service and food and drinks were impeccable. We have been going to Chambar for years and it has never once slipped in its excellence.Everything about the place is gold. I always recommend it to anyone coming in from out of town.
Helen To: Paid about $60 for two people at brunch. Food and service was excellent.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Rachel & Jarrod Steen: Fabulous food, lovely atmosphere and wonderful staff. We were recommended to dine here and it did not fail to live up to our expectations.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jason Martin: Had a few hours to kill before a concert. Managed to seat us without a reservation, the drinks are so unique and delicious. The food was superb, the service was phenomenal. Overall one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Vancouver.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Aimee & Jenna Hobbs: We were in Vancouver this past weekend and went to Chambar Saturday evening for dinner. Our server Dylan was just lovely. She was knowledgeable about the menu and able to help our thirteen year old who is celiac navigate each of the dishes that could be made gluten free. Several people at our table had mussels conglaise and really enjoyed them. My niece and I had the lamb which was delicious and my son had the steak and ate every single bite. We will definitely be going again! Thank you Dylan!
SN: The service here is excellent and food and drinks are really great. Big fan of the shakshuka and waffles with salted caramel.
Leigh McBain: Enjoyed the evening a great deal. It was our first time, had never actually heard of it before. Service was excellent, the food the same and a great vibe. From a price perspective it sits middle of the road - easy to spend more, easy to spend less, but the value proposition was there. We will definitely be going back.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Thon Grille, Carpaccio De Boeuf …More
Renée Frenette: Two words: brunch reservations.Need I say more? The food is very good. Very delicious and satisfying brunch options. I find the staff so nice- I really feel that they want to make the experience a good one. It's a go-to for us to bring visiting family and friends.

L'Epicerie Rotisserie & Gourmet Shop: what do users think?
Jack Robson: The shaved lamb sandwich is delicious! Must try if you’re in the public market. I’ll definitely be back to try more items from the menu.
Aly Brown: Got the chicken au jus sandwich and they put so much Dijon that’s all I could taste. It was pretty gross.
Katarina Jovanovic: I live close to Granville Island Public Market and this place has been one of the frequent destinations to get special food. However, I will not go there again.I purchased today some take out food and paid debit. The machine showed that the transaction was approved and I was just packing everything in my bag when the person working at the counter aksed me to wait. She was checking the receipts and looking at her cash register. Then she called another person who also looked at the receipts and the cash register informing me that they were not sure if it was paid because it was not showing in their system. I argued that the machine and the printed receipt showed "approved" which meant that everyhting was paid. It went like that back and forth and finally I was told that I was "not going to be charged again" but that they needed my name and phone number in case "something was wrong". The whole "situation" took at least 10 more minutes of my time and made me feel very uncomfortable to go through that inquiry in the middle of the full public market and to write my name and phone number publicly at the store. Later at home, I checked my bank account, and of course, the transaction went through as shown and the money was deducted from my account.I am disappointed with such unprofessional service and communication. The place is pricy but I still liked shoping there. Moving forward, I will be happy to avoid it.
alex bras martins: Repas français très traditionnel. L’élégance de la cuisine française se fait ressentir ☺️Je recommande !
Darrell Tan: Extremely yummy food, cooked from the heart.
Brad Morningstar: 4 people working there. 3 stared at me not 1 of them acknowledged as I stood by the till.
얼린감입니다 (얼린감): 가격은 저렴했는데 맛은 엉청났습니다! 다시 방문하고싶네요.
Eva Siu: THE place to go if you want delicious/homemade roasted chicken.
Brian Ward: Excellent service and the food was from scratch good. I had the beef burg pot pie and it was rich and flavorful. Can’t wait to go back and try the chicken.
Qadgop the Mercotan: A most excellent Monsieur Croque sandwich!
Lena K: Absolutely love this place, and every time I go they seem to have more wonderful foods and options available (both for picnic at Granville Island or for cooking/eating at home). The rotisserie chicken is delicious, and they have a wonderful selection of French gourmet frozen meals. Also some of our favourite French cookies and treats that remind us of times past in France. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommend to both locals and visitors.
Sheila Peacock: They have an excellent and diverse selection of frozen, ready to eat meals - super tasty and easy, the kids love them. They also have a fabulous ready-to-eat menu, with lots of favourites like roast chicken, sandwiches and more.
Maureen DeLandreville: Every item I have ever purchased from L'Epicerie has been as good or better than described. The variety is broad, the quality excellent and the taste superb. Their roast chicken is the best I have ever tasted and reliably so. I have never been disappointed by anything purchased at L'Epicerie.
Catherine Lee: If you have ever picked up one of those cooked chickens at a supermarket, you may never again after having the roasted chicken at L'Epicerie Rotisserie. It is soooo good!! I also love that I can pick up all the French grocery items and create gift bags for my European friends.
Robert Alicia Miller: Love the delicious meals made here. So often on the go and tired of eating bread-based meals. These folks always have an array of delicious, healthy food options—ready to go, whether I’m hungry or want something light.
Ani T: Delicious and unique foods! Easy meals to take home and serve.
Ashley Umali: Bbq chicken and rice was so good.
sixia jiao: I stopped in last week to see if it was open. It wasn't, but a sign said it would re-open May 9. I went back today, Mary 10, and it was still closed! As another reviewer said-- great food, but terrible customer relations/ communication!
S S: オカナガン・ソーセージというものを食べました。塩気と油分が強めでしたが美味しかったです。でも1本5ドル以上したので高かったです。
CheF2CheF: This place is serious about Rotisseties. As shown in the pictures, every dish is done professionally with pride.
Xixi Tian: 吃过的最好吃的烤猪肉之一

Christine Raymond - Kichwapanikuna: Fabulous place to visit, wonderful walks, a wonderful shop, and a wonderful experience walking across the suspebsion Bridge!I was part of a small group.... it's better to cross the bridge when there are fewer people so you can relax and enjoy the moment and take photos or video your exoerience.Inevitably, there is always someone who relishes trying to swing the bridge, which makes it very difficult to video or take photos of the beautiful river below.Take your time here, and enjoy the experience - breathe in the surrounding energy of nature - walk one of the circuits, when across the otherside, and read some of the wonderful and inspirational information plaques at various locations - make the most of your visit, and try to go across with the bridge with the least number of people! 😊

Arpitha t m: Even though the entry ticket is 70$, it is worth a visit. Created in such a beautiful way. We can spend around 2 hours easily with a walk and photos. It has a lot of information relating nature.

It's a place for friends to meet and talk, so it can get a bit noisy as well.Parking: Just park in any available parking along the street. But this can be quite a walk from the restaurant
Johnny Blade: As if this place needs my review. It’s fantastic. Food, atmosphere, ingredients, recipes and service check, check and check. First time I’ve been served the palate cleanser before dessert though and not before the main. Super weird, but it was good nonetheless. I have to say the desserts were not the strength of this place in general. There is no disappointment here though. The experience is wonderful.
Ronny Lin: Saturday dinner:- Seated at kitchen counter- Very good value for $125. Course includes 5 sides, 1 appetizer, 1 main, 1 desert. We ordered pork grind additionally.- Staffs were excellent.- Drinks were excellent and on par with cocktail bars in Vancouver.

L K: One of the most memorable dining experiences we have had in a long time! The seven course meal was carefully crafted with meticulous attention to every item on our plate. Service was non pretentious but professional. The restaurant is warm and inviting with hints of nostalgia adorned on its walls. If you are lucky enough to get a reservation, consider yourself one of the winners of a ‘Golden Ticket
Kevin Lee: The flavours have extreme depth and cooked with finesse. Nowadays you need to pay for quality but at least expectations are met here. Pork rinds are a must!
Samuel Yeung: I must say there is a difference between Quebec vs French cuisine, but the similarities settles with the chefs stamping their creation with charm and character.
Ian B: $14 for a tall can of beer.I feel like getting a Michelin star starts as a blessing and becomes a curse. $160 for an appetizer, main, desert and some forgettable dishes in between. Find a chef that’s looking for the wave, not riding it.
Matthew Henderson: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Rice Pudding, Escargot, Braised Lamb Shoulder, Bison TartarMore
High Society: The effort is really strong. But execution was disappointing.Expectations may be higher as a European, but don't tell me I'm having 7 courses and one of them is a bread roll. Bread should be standard in a fine dining restaurant. Additionally don't advertise the menu as being all about maple syrup, then bring me samples on a small plate. Include it in the food as that's what was being sold.Online pictures of this restaurant make you think it is a small romantic intimate restaurant. Intimate yes as you know everything that is happening with the table next to you as you're less than metre apart.Service - attentive is an understatement. Serving staff were more of a pest than help. I understand that hospitality doesn't get paid what they should and tips are everything. But being interrupted constantly to be asked non important questions very frustrating. I'll tip you more if you leave us alone.Food that was served was lovely, but nothing I wouldn't expect in a bistro in France. Foie gras does not need to be in every dish it's a luxury item that ruins the other flavours . Don't serve fancy peasant food then slap a ridiculous cost on it.Would I recommend?: Maybe if the costs came down.
Nelson Rodriguez Esmeral: Recommended dishes Escargot, Lemon Tart With, Pâté En Croûte, Braised Lamb Shoulder, Tourtière De Ville Au CerfMore
Howard Huang: Great food and experience, services were spot on.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Mark Cheng: Finally went to this restaurant after wanting to go since it opened. At the time, it was their Cabane à Sucre set course meal. It was a lot of their classics plus dishes with a maple syrup theme. For me, it was worth the billing as the food overall tasted very good considering that many of the dishes could be overpowering. But the best way I can describe it was that the food was balanced. Nothing too sweet, too salty, or too heavy.Glad I went, definitely will come back another time and definitely deserved as one of Vancouver's best restaurants.
Tom: Rude staff
Amanda Daemmig: Hands down the best restaurant in the city. The food, the service, the atmosphere - it cannot be beaten. And this is someone who has gone to the other Michelin Star restaurants. They are all great, but there's something undeniably special about St. Lawrence.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Montreal Spiced Pork Rinds, Mille-Feuilles, Duck Ballotine Pommes Dauphine Orange-Maple Sauce, Tourtière De Ville Au Cerf, Foie Gras Custard, Lemon Tart With, Pâté En Croûte, Tarte Au Sucre, Confit Lamb Belly, Beef Tartare, Maple Tart, Bison Tartar, Rice Pudding, Braised Lamb Shoulder, Whole Wheat Bun …More
Mark Steinfeld: Food and service was great. My only complaint is that when you reserve a table - they charge you a mandatory 20% tip (on top of taxes). This is an outrageous practice since tip is suppose to be based on service AFTER your meal. Please don't make your customers subsidize your employee's wages. Won't be dining here again unless they drop this silly charge.

Quite noisy inside, couldn’t hear anyone that wasn’t sitting beside me. There was a table on the other side of the restaurant that was very noisy, I really wish they had talked to them to calm down.As for the food, we had the tasting menu inspired by different kinds of trees. The dishes were unique and most were delicious but the pork which was the main dish was rubbery and I left most of it on my plate. The mushroom dish, shrimp on toast, ravioli, and olive oil cake were really good. The ravioli was lukewarm and I found a small hair in it (we were sitting right by the kitchen and none of the kitchen staff were wearing hats), but otherwise it was great. The wine pairings were very nice.Overall compared to the other Michelin restaurants I’ve visited, this was underwhelming. Our experience would have been a lot better if the restaurant was less noisy and the chairs more comfortable... it's amazing what a difference those small details can make. Unfortunately I probably won’t be back.
Grace Waeohongsa: I’ve tried the set menu and I found it’s all good in a small portion of every dishes. Services are excellent but very slow coz I booked the table for 9.15 pm but I had to wait till 9.40 pm.Recommended dishes Parsley Root Game & Pork Pâté Maitake Mushroom Walnut Gooseberry Parsley Root Soubise …More

Jake C.: I'm truly shocked by the number of low reviews of Burdock (granted most are from a few years ago). This place was one of the best dining experiences in the city in my opinion. A truly local assortment of foods with a great story behind every dish. The wine list is also amazing, and you won't be disappointed with either of the pairing options (they offer a standard and a premium level). Portion size was what you'd expect at a set menu experience like this. Totally adequate and not too small like most people say. I would recommend ordering the fried chicken and one of the other optional starters (they're all delicious) if you show up hungry though. The staff were quite friendly but not over the top. What was most important is they were knowledgeable about what they were serving and the story behind it. If you enjoy a truly great dining experience this is your place.
Aoife Dowling: I have wanted to go here for many years and was almost sad when it got the Michelin star as I feared that was true end of my chance to get a table and the cost would double. But.. the chance finally came and it was an experience worth waiting for.The restaurant offers a set menu ($95) is 5 courses, modest in size but outsized in interesting ingredients (many of which are locally foraged) and flavour/texture combinations. The starters (or add ons) are shared portions and come before the mains if you so choose. We decided we needed to try the savoury profiteroles with fois gras and we didn’t regret it.We went for the wine pairing and didn’t regret it. The knowledgeable background on the producers and their methods was really engaging and each was the perfect sup for the plates. They are all organic (natty wines, as I’ve been told) which I’ll be honest, I’m sometimes afraid of in case we’re sacrificing quality for the organic label, but these were great in their own right and turned me into a believer. The service was very casual, friendly, detailed, completely comfortable but still absolutely highest class. The only quibble I have at all was the bar seating which is never my favourite because I felt like I had to turn to my eating partner to see them and eat half turned on my seat. So, I’d ask for a table on the floor if you can. (I know for next time). And last but not least the menu itself was interesting, drew you in. It was a really delightful. The stuffed morels the aged dry pork, the light and fluffy sauce that housed the ravioli. The citrus (hydroponically grown on salt spring island) everything had a story to accompany the taste.Glad to have made it here finally, hope to come back soon.
Nick Go: Was on my list of places to try and I was not disappointed!Everything was delicious and I liked the creativity and presentation of the dishes. The lamb that was cooked two ways was a real treat. The service was quite accommodating as well, which unfortunately is not a guarantee nowadays especially with certain restaurants.Only minor nitpick is that the restaurant was a bit too dim and they need a foyer as whenever the door was opened the cold winter wind would blow in. Otherwise, I recommend Burdock and Co and will be back again soon.
Jessica Martel: Amazing place. Nice wine list, food is fresh, perfectly put together. And Shiva makes the experience even better. Absolute must in Vancouver.
Bonnie S: For a Michelin star restaurant, the service was disappointing. We went here for a birthday celebration which was indicated on the reservation. There was no mention of this or asking throughout the meal at all. We also had a cocktail with our meal that was quite subpar with the taste profile. It was bitter and sour. I do believe that other restaurants which received a Michelin star had a better dining experience. It may have been deserving to be on the Michelin recommended list (not a star), but given our experience, we were quite disappointed. I would probably not recommend for others to come if they are expecting a Michelin star experience.
Víctor Barreda: Menu was very original and creative but out of the five courses we had only one was memorable, others laked taste and presence. Menu changes often hopefully it gets better next time. Unfortunately this time it did not impress and for the price was kind of disappointing specially for the expectations a micheling Star restaurant. Service was very good but thr timing between the courses felt really long and compared to tables on either side of ours it was considerable.
Spike Luk: The Mrs and I decided to celebrate my birthday at Burdock and Co.. Today was the last day of the Citrus menu as they apparently prepared a 10th Anniversary menu. The restaurant received a Michelin star. Our server told us with a menu that changes regularly and different Michelin reviewers they couldn’t say what dish earned them that rating.I have to say the service was excellent and everyone seemed friendly and attentive. The food was very good overall. The chef was creative. Each dish was well plated and the flavours from each ingredient had a purpose and paired well with each other. My wife was full but I have to say I can imagine a lot of people would require larger portions. The atmosphere was great. The restaurant is small but we could hold a conversation easily. My one complaint is that the pace of service felt a little rushed. My wife and I barely finished the wine pairings before the next course. Tonight was not a busy night yet they felt the food had to come out sooner.Would we come back again? YesWould we recommend here? 100%Is it affordable? No.Is it worth it? It is worth a try. You could just order the tasting menu and share a bottle of wine or avoid the alcohol all together and enjoy the food!I love the concept here and look forward to seeing what the next tasting menu brings.
Jason Oppliger: This place rocks. Amazing flavors in everything. Fun and delicious dishes. Reasonable wines by the glass but not a ton, so prob just get the wine pairing. One of the my new favorite restaurants.
hameed dhanani: My partner and I went for our 4 year anniversary not knowing what to expect. The food and ambience were great, but the standout element was the service. Kieran was EXCELLENT, actually the best server my girlfriend and I EVER had. In the past, servers have always been 'there', pleasant, good to deal with, but Kieran elevated the experience from great food, to a great overall experience. We will come back for his jokes and insight. My only regret is not asking where he got his glasses from (I lowkey want a pair).
Ali Taheri: More than anything, im disappointed in Michelin guid people, our “citrus journey “ set menu was just meh, nth to go back to, nth special, the price makes it even worst, its easy to get fooled by all the dish descriptions from the waitress “ this comes from where infused with that none sense “

Botanist: what do users think?
Nicholas Quintillan: Certainly a terrific experience. I’ve known the lead bartender my whole life. He recently won some well-deserved accolades and he truly is the best bartender in Canada and even perhaps the world. A strong statement for sure, however, his cocktails are creative, unique, balanced, and ridiculously flavourful. The service was outstanding and the food was unbelievably great. If you want an “out-of-this-world” experience, come have some drinks and food at Botanist. Highly, highly recommended! It was the best Burrata and Duck I’ve ever had.
Daniel Jung: An exquisite dining experience! Came in for brunch with no reservation. Luckily, after a 10-minute wait, someone canceled.Service was brilliant, food and drinks tasted delicious, and the vegan dessert was amazing! The brunch was under $90 with tips included. Fantastic spot for a date. Highly recommend reservations!I will be back 100% thank you!
Heron Hanuman: I was fortunate to celebrate a friend's milestone with a group of close friends in the private room. The cocktails are incredible. Like really good. Kianna Kho: Came here for dinner. Food, drinks, and service were good during the dinner, but I have to deduct stars because they charged my credit card twice for the $250 dinner. It took 5 phone calls to finally get the refund. I never actually spoke to anyone from the restaurant, only the hotel. Never received a note or apology for the inconvenience, the charge was just quietly refunded to my card and I noticed on my statement.
Joel Chan: We got the three-course brunch and it was delicious. I ordered the charcuterie plate as my appetizer followed by a croque madame and the strawberry coconut panna cotta for dessert. The food was fantastic and I don't know which dish I liked more because it was honestly all good. My wife ordered the hand-cut beef tartare, butter poached lobster benedict, and the milk chocolate coffee mousse. We also got the antioxidant juice, orange juice, and blue moon non-alcoholic cocktail which paired very nicely with our food. Overall great experience with a very friendly, courteous, and professional staff. Even the washrooms were gorgeous.

Dillon Sharan: The ambiance at the Botanist is unparalleled - it's one of the most beautiful restaurants in Vancouver and a great place to celebrate any special occasion. The food and service are excellent. I ordered the vegetarian dish for my main course and was quite disappointed with the portion size - it was laughably small, fewer than 10 small bites. It's a pricey restaurant and the quality is absolutely up to par but after spending $100 per person, guests should have enough food to be satisfied, not wanting more.
A.M. Wolf: Trendy place to eat, drink, hear live music, and have the valet park your Ferrari.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Monet Beswick: Beautiful room, amazing service. We had the tasting menu brunch and it was really good. The ricotta mushroom toast and the brioche French toast was my favourite ! Really beautiful place for brunch . 10/10
Jennifer Kelly: The brunch at the Botanist is incredible. Service is impeccable. High class. Beautiful setting and lots of bright windows. DJ on the weekends. The brunch menu is the best deal as it includes two cocktails and three courses. Highly highly recommend.
Savannah: Gorgeous interior and even better service!Went with a group of 12 people so we were seated in one of their private rooms with no extra cost. The private rooms have a set 3 or 2 course meal ($65 for 2 courses and $71 for three) the only difference between the 2 and 3 course meal is dessert for the 3 course meal.Excellent service, always tentative to waters sides etc. Food had amazing flavour and unique presentation.I would definitely recommend this place for an upscaled brunch or dinner!
Nicolina Ricciardi: Roland has amazing customer service skills. Food came second to his service (but the food was also delicious)Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kelsey MacGregor: There’s a reason this place has such an amazing reputation. Incredibly beautiful setting which compliments the service and food. We’ve never encountered such amazing customer service. Very accommodating staff. Best mushroom toast we’ve ever had and the pistachio croissant left us speechless. We will for sure be back and will tell everyone we know to come here.
Ben D: Great place. Comes with mimosas and your pick of cocktail with its 2-3 course meal. Drinks were great and packed a punch. Fair price for the flavour and serving size. The beef tartare was really memorable. Lamb belly poutine was a great mixture of custom French fries with a nice balance of cheese. Eggs Benedict had the right amount of hollandaise and the lobster bumped it to that next level. Dessert met our expectations and were balanced without being too overwhelmingly sweet. Great way to finish off our meal.$71 for the three course which me and my partner had. Was surprisingly filled by the end of it.
Kimberly Stephenson: A week after dining here, I'm still trying to wrap my head around how amazing this place was! The drinks, food, atmosphere-- EVERYTHING exceeded expectations. Even the journey to the bathroom was pleasantly surprising; I found myself lingering at the hallway photography exhibits, and feasting my eyes on the bustling lounge below. There was also a live pianist, whose effervescent fingers doled out jazzy covers to pop songs like something out of a 40's noir film. The lighting was perfect (not too bright, not too dim). It's impossible to say the service was inattentive-- they anticipated every refill, every wanton desire for more oatmeal sourdough bread (which was scrumptious). The other culinary standouts were the lamb shanks/belly (which now rivals bacon for me, lol!) and the sour-cream ice cream for dessert. Be prepared to crave another visit! 😝
Paula Gamio: Toda una experiencia gastronómica, increíble servicio e inolvidables platillos

Grouse Mountain: what do users think?
Tim E: Had a great time atop Grouse Mountain.
Douglas McKinnon: Good views and a well maintained stair but very touristy
Poon Chun Pong: Enjoy all the good times
George Woo: Mouse mountain is a very amusing place. I go bySky train from brighouseTo waterfront station and then go by seabus to QueyMarket and then go to station 6 by no 261MouseMountain to there. It is veryPretty and elegant. To dayIs a weekday not too people. The sky-run trainIs very amusement butCharge $80 per person andYou drive a car you needTo pay parking ticket. Actually it worth to go toMouse mountain in thisPeriod.
Swaminathan G: Pls don't go to grouse just for a view from the top as there is none... The gondola is worth it only if u do activities up top or if u r going back country hikes from grouse..was so disappointed with the view after doing the grind..do the grouse grind if u love workouts..
Jonathan Bouwie: Great place great views
Sam Raj: Its a great tourist visit. But is expensive ride to the mountain top. Is cold up there so dress appropriately.
CA sunder vadlamani: Super refreshing…
mahtab foadian: We went there May 14th, 2023. We got Gandola to go up. But the Gondola windows were so old and full of scratches that the view outside was hard to see. Imagine that you are watching a beautiful movie on TV, but the glass of the TV screen is full of scratches. Considering the money they got ($65 per person), we expected much better service. And the second thing we were unhappy about was that all the entertainment on the mountain was closed (when we asked why, they said it was for safety because the snow was melting) but we expected that they would honestly tell us all this before we bought the tickets.
Joe Nesrallah: Best view of the city! Not recommended for someone who is afraid of heights but as someone who considers themselves a chicken when it comes to high places I survived and thoroughly enjoyed my time with clear skies, May snow, lumberjacks, and grizzly bears.
Anthony F.B. Davies: Good experience that was limited by fog at the top.Worth a visit but check weather conditions or you visit will be curtailed.
Anne F: Great place to spend a day. We really enjoyed the lumber jack show and the chair lift up to the peak. The Bears Koola and grinder were amazing to watch and we caught the tail end of the owl talk. The free shuttle to/from Canada place was a nice surprise bonus too!
Lucas Nicoloso: Amazing location, a very different experience for me.
Allan T: Still some snow on top of BCMC trail, Grind is without snow but wet at the top. Nice to grab a cold drink at the top and enjoy the view. Check out the grizzly bears in the enclosure!
Mariana Salazar: Maravilloso lugar para hacer hiking
Huang Fred: Great grind uphill and beautiful view on the top
Joel Schat: Grouse Mountain is the best! It's the only 4 season mountain close to Vancouver and is a must see as a tourist wanting to get a good experience and see the view of vancouver. Snowboarding/skiing is great, the restaurant is wonderful and the summer activities are exciting.
