PALS Autism Society: what do users think?
vida sagharlou: My grandson is doing so well in pals thanks to each of you people out there and godbless your heart this school changed my daughter’s life
Will Harper: Thank you, PALS for making my son feel like himself in this school. Great environment, and amazing teachers.
Tara R: Such a great program that incorporates multidisciplinary input and best practises. Staff are so positive and truly care about the students!
Ivor Maylone: I am a local contractor who has had the pleasure of doing a few projects for PALS. For myself and my crew it has been one of the most memorable and enjoyable places to work. During our time at the school, the patience, care and commitment we witnessed of the staff to the students was truly remarkable. It was a very positive experience and I am thankful we had the opportunity to be able to contribute to such an incredible organization.
Ruqayyah Badshah: Working at PALS was really an amazing experience. The Prinicple and staff were so welcoming from day 1. The staff provide so much support and aid to all the needs that are specific to the students. I am a student majoring in psychology with a focus on ABA, and I'm so glad I got to be part of an amazing program, as I did not know that such a program had been established. Its very heart warming to know that there are people out there who have really given their all to helping students on the spectrum be successful in their academics but also daily activities.
Jesse Weyman: PALS School based program is a truly special environment. I had the good fortune of completing a practicum placement at PALS for part of my training as Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst. I also worked there part time following my practicum placement.I have worked in several different ABA specific school settings and PALS is the one that had the greatest impact on my life. The program model is exceptional and the students genuinely seem to love attending school everyday. Most of all, the community that has been created by the families, staff, board of directors, and community supports is a real embodiment of love, respect, and inclusion. I cannot say enough good things about my experience at PALS and often think back fondly on the time I spent there. Thanks PALS community!
Roman Iakimkin: Would not imagine a better school for our daughter
mallen942: My son attends PALS. The school has had a positive impact on his and our lives. The staff is compassionate and professional.
Tara Hodgson: This place changed our life! The staff here are so patient, kind, caring, dedicated, selfless, creative and committed to our kids. If you are looking for inclusion, this is the place. PALS looks past our children's disability and sees them, who they are, their potential and their possibilities. If I could give them 10 stars I would!
Monte - Mah Family: Our son attended public school from grade 1 to grade 4 and although the school district tried their best to help our son, it was not the right fit.In 2014, when we enrolled our son at PALS, our lives changed. Through the years our son’s overall development immensely improved and we attribute this to the positive learning environment and sustained professionalism and expertise of PALS professionals: teachers, educational instructors, behaviour analyst, speech pathologist, occupational therapist and principal. At present our son is continuing to build on his functional communication, academic skills, adaptive behaviour, functional and life skills. We owe a debt of gratitude to PALS Autism Society School Program for opening its doors to our family and altering our son’s future to a brighter tomorrow. We are living proof that with patience, collaboration and mutual support between school and home, individuals living with the diagnosis of autism can live their lives to its fullest potential.
Eugene Wong: My son has been a student at the school for years and has shown incredible growth in his abilities and skills with the thoughtful attention of the staff at the school. The creativity and flexibility in which the school has been able to adapt for his needs has been nothing short of amazing. What was really impressive was during the pandemic of this past year, the school was able to pivot and quickly produce an outstanding curriculum for at home learning until they were able to re-open ensuring a seemless continuation of my son's education. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who has someone who could use this type of attention.
Madhu Kanwar: This school is amazing. The teachers really care for and understand the Children under their care. When Covid 19 restrictions prevented children attending, they very quickly and efficiently created an online program that worked! I am truly grateful Pals!
Jayce Allen: This is my son's second year at PALS and we could not be happier. After two years in public school followed by two years in a private school for learning disabled students, we finally feel like his needs are being met. We have seen great strides in his language, academics, and behaviour. Staff are professional and caring and tailor programs for individual students. Staff are also very collaborative and encourage monthly full-team meetings with parents and/or home-team therapists. The student programs are evidence-based and data-driven. Communication is excellent.
Chang Yu Ruan: 适合一家大细休闲娱乐场所
Haley Westlake: This is a great school that offers a lot of help and useful resources to their students. Very compassionate and understanding staff who do a wonderful job. Thank you guys so much!
The Man Who Cares About Everything (TMCE): This school has the warmest, most understanding staff I have ever met. In my opinion there is no better place for young adults with autism to learn and grow.
Shannon Muir: I love this place. They do amazing work and care so much about every student who attends the school. Thanks for everything you do, amazing PALS team!
Juanita Rodrigo: Staff are not interested in the whole wellbeing of the students and rather focus on what outings they should go on, how to make the kids quiet so they can gossip among themselves, and have made the kids cry many times and don't work on stopping that. I know volunteers and substitutes who have left this school because the staff do not know how to deal with challenging behaviors and rather try to suppress all behaviour without working on eliminating the root issues. Deeply saddened
Geoff Herman: Unhappy with the disorganization and false promises.
Tanner M: unorganized.
Graham Shonfield: Amazing school for kids with autism. Great environment filled with really caring teachers.

Eaton Arrowsmith School Vancouver: what do users think?
K S: good
Heather Seabrook: The Eaton Arrowsmith program was an incredible experience for my child & our family. They provided tremendous support, tailored to the needs for social-emotional learning & growth, as well as academic ability. The cognitive program is fantastic & helped my daughter to significantly improve her learning challenges. We saw incredible growth & were able to transition her back to an academic school where she is now flourishing! Without EA we don't know how we would have gotten her to where she is now with her school-life. Forever grateful!
Lee Frost: My twin boys attended Eaton Arrowsmith in the White Rock location. One son, after 3 years at the school, corrected his working memory and attention and is now an A student. Our other son, who had a diagnosis of Autism and intellectual disability, attended for 5 years and has now lost both diagnoses. Our family owe so much to the Eaton Arrowsmith program and to Kelsey Hanna who ran the school. These programs should be in every single public and private school.
Emma Little: Because of Eaton Arrowsmith, not only have my math skills improved, my life has become better in many ways. I can make decisions faster, I'm more comfortable with trying new things, and I have more confidence in myself. Working with teachers who truly understood my struggles gave me the strength to keep trying, even on the hardest days. I highly recommend it to anyone with learning difficulties.Thank you for letting me be part of something so incredible.
Sherry Heppell: Our two sons attended EA for one and two years respectively. The staff was great to work with and worked hard with the boys to help them get the most out of their time there. It was expensive, but the growth we saw in their verbal processing and their organization was pretty impressive. It was hard work, but we would recommend this program for any person that wants to improve on verbal processing, or any academic struggles.
Colleen Byrum: My son, Emmett, has been accepted to Franklin University Switzerland (FUS) in Lugano, Switzerland. His major is political science. He graduated from a college prep in Ojai, California after attending Arrowsmith for 3.5 years. This was a child who could not recognize a single letter of the alphabet at the age of nine. Moreover he could not. sequence. anything. Not numbers, days, months, weights, money, not even "before and after." We lived in a perpetual kind of groundhog day. Math was out of the question.Eaton Arrowsmith saved my son from a life of abject failure and perpetual frustration. Thanks to Eaton Arrowsmith, he is able to spur on his intellectual curiosity, fulfilling it, and sparking new areas of interest -- not as a dilettante, but as a scholar. I will be forever grateful to you all.
Agnia Om: After finishing EAS our daughter Katia is doing very well in present high school. She got the award as the one of the best student in her class. Thank you to all EAS teachers. EAS changed our daughter life. She is happy, smart, enjoy learning.
Heather Cooper: My son attended Eaton Arrowsmith for a year and a half. He has thrived in school since attending Eaton Arrowsmith. He enjoyed learning in different ways and thoroughly enjoyed working with the positive staff.
Heidi Ferguson: Our daughter attended Alli for a little over two years and it was the best decision that we ever made. Alli is doing excellent now in high school and we know that we owe this success to EA. For us it was a huge decision but so life changing and we have complete trust in Eaton Arrowsmith and would totally recommend it to any families considering attending.
Liam Friesen: I only have positive things about my experience with Eaton Arrowsmith. I attended the school full-time for 1 year and I experienced exponential growth in my personal and professional lifestyle. I would recommend this program for anyone that has experienced learning difficulties and other concerns they would like to address. Special thanks to Kelsey Hanna who always kept me motivated and engaged with friendly banter during class time breaks.
Benjamin Chen: Life changing school because the exercises fixed most of my learning disabilities. I finished high school in 2014 and I received multiple credentials at a post secondary education.
Elliott Mefferd: I looked at the wall wondering why im here and how to leave when lowi walked in "UP" he yelled i turned sighed and looked at him and smiled "okay"i got up and all of the gang walked towards the door ready to start the new life that the gang had planned out for us i just couldn't understand why i just thought what happened to the good old days when no school insisted and i didnt have to go and waste my life away for like six hours idk kind cringe in my onion.
S J: good intentions; however, over-priced, lots of staff turnover due to poor leadership, many teachers i spoke with that left EA said they had a negative experience. many students i spoke to that used to go there said it was not a great experience. i find it odd that one of their lead staff members wrote a 5 Star review. pat yourselves on the back some more! reviews are for the customers, not staff.
Barb YS: After 3 years as part of the EAS family we are excited that this chapter in our childs education here is coming to a close as the program will be complete in June. She has so many amazing new (and improved) cognitive skills and abilities and is now able to tackle traditional curriculum and learning objectives. We did not know that it would be possible for her to overcome so many of her challenges when we enrolled her in this program. This program is tackling so many of the learning challenges that both children and adults cope with. It felt like a leap of faith when we chose to try to help our child overcome her challenges vs more traditional interventions but in hindsight it was one of the best decisions we ever made. If you or your child is bright but struggling with traditional teaching methods, has trouble keeping up, or challenges with memory you should check this out. I can't speak highly enough of the dedicated teachers and admin who guide the kids through this program. It will be hard to leave.
Lois S: Our son was 14 before we found Eaton Arrowsmith school. Finally after all the years of 'trying everything' I feel like we are finally working on the core of the problem and not just putting makeup on the problem. Our son is finally getting the help he has been searching for and I can now see a future for him. The teachers and staff that our son has worked with understand these students and treat each one as an individual and work to bring out the best in them. I can't recommend this program more highly and wish it was included in mainstream curriculum to help so many other children who suffer in the same way who cannot access the help they deserve. Thankyou Eaton Arrowsmith, forever grateful.
Aylin Eti: If you are out to find your kid an embracing school after long years of struggling with the mainstream education system and if you want this school to give your kid the best cognitive and emotional support through the best teachers and staff you are in the right place. Eaton Arrowsmith School is the best. It worths leaving your home, your country, your family behind and focus on your kid while feeling relieved from the stress of ‘future’. My heartfelt thanks and gratitude.
Sandra Heusel: Eaton Arrowsmith School works as a team with families in order to help students with learning disabilities and attention difficulties target and strengthen the areas of their brain that are the underlying cause of learning and social struggles. Instead of accommodating for learning challenges with bypass strategies, students leave EAS after completing their programs and transition to local and international public and private schools as independent, self confident learners...finally able to reach goals they had previously only dreamed of.
Peter Wicher: The Eaton Arrowsmith School (EAS) in Vancouver delivers singularly strong results for their students. By improving the cognitive deficits that underlie their learning disabilities, EAS students gain the ability to learn much more like their non-disabled peers. Most go on to take regular classes in general education classrooms without accommodations, modifications, or compensations, a significantly different result from what is achieved with standard special education methodologies. That is not to say that the Arrowsmith Program is some sort of magic hocus-pocus. I have an MS in special education, and in my extensive observations of EAS the past three years I have seen consistently textbook-perfect delivery of instruction, individualized programming, and classroom management. The EAS staff are truly excellent professional educators and much of the program’s success is due to good hard work on the part of the instructors and their students.

GABA Children's Society - Fawkes Academy: what do users think?
Citizens 4safetec: A few years ago the Minister of Education refused to accommodate a 12-year-old boy with a Chronic Health Disability in our public schools. My daughter, a single mom with two children, was left on her own to find information and resources on how to provide an education for her son. After hours and hours of phone calls to government agencies and private schools we discovered Fawkes Academy, a non-profit DL school. Leslie, then a Special Education Teacher, spent a great deal of time guiding my daughter through the system to find financial and educational support for her son. Her son was provided with up to date resources with support teachers/tutors to make sure he enjoyed learning while at the same time being challenged. Fawkes Academy has helped build a solid foundation of good work habits and provided him with all the tools that he needs to succeed. This year, this child who is a straight A student, is proud to be graduating with a Dogwood Certificate and moving on to University seeking a career in mathematics thanks to Fawkes Academy! We are forever grateful and can’t thank everyone enough for all your help.
Denise M: There are not enough stars to say how amazing Fawkes Academy is!!!!My child is now 19 and graduated from Fawkes Academy. My child was diagnosed at the age of four and half with autism -attended ABA learning centre first .Had two words, not potty trained, severe behaviour issues. With in the year he was talking , potty trainedWe tried public school and was never ending issues and challenges for us.We went with Fawkes Academy for his schooling/ behaviour consulting after repeated challenges with school system .I still can not get over the difference in IEP a meetings and goals from public school to Fawkes. Goals clearly set out, how we would address them , materials we could use. Just amazing and follow up on them.Fawkes academy team are true educated professionals and they CARE .Not once put a limit on what he could learn. He was encouraged with his academics, supports and modifications were made to help him learn the way he learned best.As we started with ABA/Fawkes Academy when he was 4 and he is now 19. I can tell you there were many many challenges ,tears, joys, accomplishments raising a child with Autism and complex needs is hard -I could not have done it with out all staff at Fawkes over the years.EVERY CHILD CAN LEARNAnd my son is still learning everydayI can not THANK EVERYONE ENOUGH !!
Jodi Brown: Beware.A number of teachers do not have special needs experience or formal training and are not equipped to deal with any sort of learning or behavioral diversities that are common with special needs, autism and learning differences. They will tell you they focus on academics but have only ever had 1 Dogwood diploma graduate, everyone else is earning participation certificates.I was told in an IEP meeting not to focus on academics because "no one expects kids with ASD to be successful that's why academics are listed last."If you want more than a day program, if you want your child to learn academics and social skills and flourish outside of a controlled environment or in the future then Fawkes is likely not school for you.Do your homework, research and buyer beware.
Angela M: This school has made a world of difference for my son. Coming from public school where he was outcasted, he is welcomed here by all staff and students and has made so many great connections with his classmates. The teachers are always ready to help with any requests we may have. Thank you so much Fawkes for everything you do.
LisaBrittRusinyaSund: *****UPDATE****I am so happy to hear that the woman who started this school is no longer involved in it and they have a whole new board of directors!I have heard it has drastically improved!!!- so please note my original review was an observation based on the previous leadership which in my opinion was long overdue for change - I only wish my son was there for it but I am so happy for those who are there now 🙂OLD REVIEW:::Loved the open friendly atmosphere when Josie was the program co ordinator , my son was happy and felt nurtured but that all changed when she left and the school locked out the parents (many having to wait outside if it was cold with their special needs kids until 9:00 which would be very onerous if travelling by bus) - the lockout/lockdown extended to teeangers 17- and over 18 not allowed to leave the building at lunch; no snacks from store,no starbucks or DQ ever again at break time...so sad, what a morale breaker ...fear based thinking imo. The topper was the chapperoning of teenagers to the bathroom .....this was making my son in his words”feel like a prisoner”.....so we left. My son wants to attend a school were he doesn’t feel like he is different than his peers.
Juanita Rodrigo: Please please invest in Fawkes. They have so many amazing programs for kids with ASD/related disorders no matter what age. To home support team programs, to adult programs, to a clinic, to centre based work, to life skills, it's all endless here and they are doing social skills and friendship work. This school as well as Fawkes in Richmond deserves all the recognition.
Geoff Herman: My wife and I are blown away by the level of professionalism and all the amazing practitioners working collaboratively. It doesn't get any better than this.

Fraser Academy: what do users think?
MasonYuan personal: Worst place I’ve ever attended
Liam MacDonald: I love school because of Fraser academy =]
Alison Richardson: Our son went to Fraser Academy from Grade 3 to Grade 12.... our experience at the school was exceptional.... from day one he, as well as us, his parents, received both the academic and emotional support that we needed for him to excel in all areas of his education. He graduated over 10 years ago from Fraser Academy... attended university and now is an elementary school teacher there.
Bannister Bergen: My son lives with ADHD & Dyslexia. In public school he struggled to keep up with the rest of the class. Placing a pencil in his hand and asking him to write was akin to torture, as it challenged both his ADHD and dyslexia simultaneously. He would suffer from anxiety nightly at the thought of returning to school the next day. Fraser Academy changed all of that. Within a month of attending Fraser, his attitude towards school has done a 180. And within a year he was writing beyond his grade level. The teachers and staff have all proved to be incredible. The price is steep, and writing a tuition cheque is painful, but you get the quality you pay for, and the peace of mind of knowing your child won't be left behind.
Kim&Marek: We attended Fraser for 2 years. The teachers were constantly turning over and told me to my face in from of their superiors, that they could only teach to the majority of the class and not to the individual IEPs. Contrary to the poster in their elevator. There was only 5 kids in the classroom, how can you not accommodate to the 2 anxious children not learning? Meeting with teachers were spent comforting them as they always seemed on the verge of panicking. Technology was denied to my child despite his Phycologists note. They insisted my Anxious child perform in from of the whole school even though it meant he had to miss months of school due to his anxiety, and us having meetings about it. Plus he was bullied every single day brutally until he became depressed. My child’s education feel horribly behind at Fraser. They will sell you something and never deliver.
Ailene Buhler: Being trained in O-G with Fraser Academy has saved me teaching time from scrambling for online resources or going through basal reading programs to learn how to address my students with reading difficulties. My training is helping me tap into my own level of creativity with a multi-sensory approach that is much more brain-based. I'm realizing that "a program" isn't always the go-to resource for efficient literacy lessons. Sometimes the supplies and resources we take for granted are actually much more successful than investing in the "latest" and "newest" digital programs.I’m a much more resourceful teacher in finding simple tools to teach a concept that doesn't always involve fancy gadgets. For instance, using mini colour coded blocks to help a child spell and apply their knowledge of consonants and vowels has proven to be more engaging for a student than sitting in front of a computer or iPad. O-G should be a requirement for beginning teachers as it teaches the foundation of literacy.
nathan whyte: Fraser is the worst school I've ever been to. While at Fraser I would hate going to school. The staff didn't help since they gave me wrong advice on what classes to take for the program I wanted to go into in university. Due to Fraser's advice, I was not able to get into the program I wanted because after I left Fraser I realized that I didn't have some of the prerequisites to get into the courses I wanted. The people running the school are delusional and will fire anyone who even thinks about giving an argument that doesn't completely agree with what they think. Tutoring at Fraser is also useless and the majority of my grade at least, never went to tutoring since it was more useful to do homework for classes that actually mattered. If Fraser had math tutoring it would be way more useful but in the state it is in right now, you would be better off just getting a tutor once or twice a week in the subject that your struggling in. Overall, Fraser Academy is a terrible school that is more concerned about their reputation then their students.
sean: Good school i like the learing progrume fnu i thinc im smartter now
CaraLynne McLean: From the initial interview, to our 3rd year at Fraser Academy, we are beyond grateful to have found such a unique learning environment that allows our child to grow and learn and become all he can be. The head of school, admin, teachers and all support staff are top notch, genuine caregivers, who know how to reach children, meet them where they are at, and draw out their unique strengths. Highly recommend this Academy.
jross: My son has attended Fraser Academy for the past 5 years and it has been everything of a positive experience that somehow has gotten better with each passing year! The Head of School, Department Heads, Teaching Staff and Supports are of high caliber and are excellent role models for the students that surround them each day. They approach teaching from A PERSPECTIVE THAT SHOULD BE A REQUIREMENT IN ALL MAINSTREAM AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS. This school goes above and beyond in their quest to become better in everything they deliver and realize that it is actually the students who help make that happen. They don’t “teach at” their students; they “work with” them to accomplish grades and goals. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to offer my son the educational experience that Fraser Academy does.
Aryelah Chaya Simon: I love this school!! I have attended the school since the fourth grade, it has given me the tools to become anything I want to be. Also, the teachers here are absolutely outstanding and extremely supportive! Not to sugarcoat it though, I have still had my fair share of struggles, and that is just a part of life but I have learned how to overcome them.If my parents had not made the difficult decision to move me out of my old school and to Fraser Academy, I really don’t know where I’d be in my life.So thank you to all my incredible teachers, tutors, and especially to my parents for giving me a second shot in life.Really going to miss this place when I graduate!Sincerely,Aryelah
jordan gardner: this place made me die and drop out of high school for a bit 10/10 best school everBtw mr chyzik if u see this do u remember when I just left ur math class for like 3 weeks in a row now that was epicAnd I heck with the cloud lounge
Leah McIntyre: Our son is in his 3rd year at Fraser Academy and it has been nothing but a positive experience. Before attending FA, our son was nowhere close to reading a grade level, was extremely frustrated, and suffered greatly from low self esteem and social isolation in the public system. We noticed a significant change within a few months of attending FA. The teachers work hard to build confidence and skill sets for the students to take with them as they become more independent. We are always in awe of how engaged our 13 year old is in his school work and are so grateful to have found a school that cares so very much about these brilliant students who struggle to fit into the public stream. I would HIGHLY recommend Fraser Academy to any parent wising to offer their child a supportive experience where they can grow academically and beyond.
Iris Day: Our Son attended Fraser Academy from grade 6-12. He is now working toward his kinesiology degree and stays in touch with many of his friends in universities across Canada, the U.S, and locally. Many of us make major financial sacrifices to send students here and wish there was more funding available, more locations and More Fraser! Specifically : amazing orton-gillingham tutors, engaging emotionally intelligent teachers who work very hard because they believe in what they do: literacy, composition, camps and regular field trips, arts, wood shop, physical education, outdoor ed, strong science and maths for those who are inclined, public speaking and engagement with technology, small classes, the realization that many people learn differently. Dyslexics are vibrant wonderful humans when they are not crushed in the classroom. Often they end up blooming and achieving great success in adulthood! The support offered during the developmental years has been worth all the sacrifice in our case. The teachers and staff here go out of their way to keep it real, focus on positives and generate results. Fraser is not perfect but no school is and it is filled with life and a variety of clubs and programs that enable each child to be supported as a whole person. Rather than hiding in the classroom and feeling like less... This school also allows parents to focus on their life and careers and gave us the freedom to enjoy and support our child rather than trying to teach him to read or write. I wish every parent with a child who is struggling could send their child to a place like this and that the province would pay for it!! Best to all.
Kees Poulus: This school is amazing for what it does! As an alumni, I have many great memories of my time attending. Fraser acadamy gave me tools and skills to cope with my learning challenges that ultimately lead to a successful education. In my experience, fraser acadamy should compliment a "regular" education instead of supplement for it. The small class sizes and attentive teachers work well to help guide students through educational difficulties. I beleive the ultimate goal for students should be to gain skills to walk through life without hindrance due to learning challenges, in fact to thrive despite them. My only word of warning is that, due to the small class sizes and educational emphasis, social, physical, and "life" problems are more difficult to navigate. In my experience, it takes a well rounded child to thrive. This is only my experience.
Jacquie Stebbings: The only place to truly help your kids with learning disabilities.
Geoff Mair: This is an amazing school where kids are given a chance to excel and be successful. For us it was very worth the considerable expense.
Chris Motiu: The admin team and the teachers at Fraser Academy are amazing. They do care about the kids and go out of their way to ensure the children's safety and overall well-being. Most grade 12 students at Fraser get accepted into fantastic university programs, and the percentage of students who do continue with post-secondary studies are much higher at Fraser Academy than most other similar schools in the province.
Jackson: this problematic school is bigoted and doesn't allow diversity, it is truly an out rage!!!!
Kristin Shaban: I will never recommend anyone to take the OG program through Fraser Academy. In the beginning of the course, I had told the teacher, Heather, I cant get to school before 845am due to the ferries not having any earlier sailings. I had told her this to make sure she understood my situation. Heather told me that it was perfectly fine and they would move things around to make it work. I was doing over hours of commute every single Saturday for this program. In the beginning of the program, she told all of the students that we would all pass. As the program went on, I noticed the teacher being very unorganized, and rushed many things expecting us to understand completely. The mentors that were watching over us as we tutored each other did things differently then the teacher. Which was very difficult to process when you are learning new things.Through the drills, She told us that we have to be very patient with our students and not to rush them. When she quizzed us on the drills, she was very impatient and rushed me. I spoke to a few students and they had the same experience.By the end of the program, I studied so hard for the exam. I was emailed from Heather saying that I had failed. And that I need to retake the program in the summer time. I was never given the exam back to see what I had wrong so I can learn from my mistakes. I asked her about it, so she said she would make a new exam and would send it next week. The next day, she emailed me the exam, and then said I had to send it back in 3 days. I was giving no explanation on what I had wrong before to learn how to do it right. I have spoken to a few different teachers about this, and they cannot believe how Heather has reacted.I hope this review will help other people to look into more information before signing up under this school. I would highly recommend going to any other school for the OG tutoring.

Canucks Autism Network: what do users think?
Judy: This is a great organization very worthy of our support. Hockey game was so much fun! Go Canucks 🇨🇦
Stefanie Philips: The Canucks Autism Network is absolutely wonderful! For the first time in a long time, our family is able to participate in activities together in a safe supportive space. The one on one instructors are so very patient and kind with our son. He is now able to participate in different activities that he loves. We cannot express how thankful we are to be working with such an amazing organization!
JJ PORT: Awesome place
Jim Philips: This Organization is amazing. Everything that you want it to be and so much more. It can be difficult to have family experiences with children with disabilities but the CAN accommodates those limitations with events and programs that are incredibly understanding, welcoming and positive. The volunteers and directors are the best people who genuinely care about these kids and do everything to provide an amazing experience. Hockey games, pumpkin patches, swim lessons, movie days. There isn’t enough space to type how much we appreciate these days and how much of a smile it provides to everyone. Thank you CAN!!
Jeneen Jensen: So grateful for the support and social opportunities in a neurodivergent positive space that my son feels so comfortable in
Lindsay Hills: CAN has been life changing for my son and I....finally we belong somewhere. Every class, outing, training I find that the employees and volunteers are so professional, playful and knowledgeable. So grateful for the work that they do to support healthy development of children/youth who need some extra support.
Nathan Meade: Wonderful. My kid love going to multi-sport
Miranda Moore: This network has open its arms to us new members, my son is 10yrs old on the spectrum, we live in a small town and we dont have much for my child to do things. My son does the virtual classes, they have sent us supplies for the classes he takes, during the pedemic we received a big supplie box of out door things to do with him n his sister. Thank you for making the virtual classes available for my son, he looks forward to next sessions.
Naomi Bailuk: CAN staff and programs are absolutely amazing. My son loves going to the programs and benefits from the high ratios of staff to kids.
Kathy Hunter: Always enjoy the programs CAN has to offer it helps develop better social skills and we have alot of fun
Corrie Rou: Our child has been a participant of C.A.N. for about 4 years. She has attended the multisport, swimming, gymnastics and skating programs, as well as attending family events. Every single session we have been welcomed by kind and supportive staff making a comfortable environment for everyone. Our child has gained confidence and skills through CAN activities that she was otherwise unable to through any other program or professional intervention. We are truely grateful for C.A.N.
Alana Best: One of the best things we have done for our son. These programs are outstanding. The instructors are well trained, compassionate and organized. I highly recommend.
Paul Grewal: Amazing programs, inclusive, friendly supportive staff, adapt to the participants level. 100% recommend.
Jen Barkma: I cannot speak more positively of the resources, supports, and activities that CAN provided for families of children with ASD. Because of CAN, my children are able to have experiences, such as summer camp, just like their peers. As a result of CAN swim lessons, one of my sons has learned to be a strong swimmer. CAN family activities provide a safe place for our family to engage in recreation activities where we can all be together and all be included without the social pressures and awkward interactions that can often come when participating in public activities with our family of exceptional children. In addition to the outstanding activities and experiences that CAN provides, the staff that support these endeavours are remarkable. Their enthusiasm and skill with the children combined with strong organization and communication skills with families is to be commended. We are so thankful to be a part of CAN.
Monique Papineau: Staff are fantastic to communicate with and really strive to connect with the kids. Highly recommend!
Rachel Leah: My daughter has enjoyed all the programming that she has had access to through the CAN network. They have provided her a ton of positive experiences and new friends.
Nina Dolden: My son always has a good time at CAN activities. I appreciate the low staff to participant ratio. The staff are always kind and well-trained.
Narine Snkhchyan: The best experience we have ever had. Nice and welcoming staff. We really need you guys, thanks to all fundraisers. It means we are not alone
Michelle Hyder (Mstiggity): CAN has changed our family’s life! Their volunteers are amazing and our son has made so much progress in his swim class. I cannot say enough positive things about CAN!!!
Kathleen Fortier: This organization has been wonderful for our child and our family. The sports are so adaptive and set the kids up for success. The experiences are also very well done and inclusive.
Jenn C: Amazing organization and lovely people. Our son gets the opportunity to participate in programs that he normally wouldn't be able to access because typical community programs are not set up to support kids on the spectrum. We are forever grateful to everything CAN does for us and the community!
