Training Vancouver, Inc: what do users think?
Lisa Gallo
Lisa Gallo: I have taken two courses with Training Vancouver: Adobe Indesign and Adobe Illustrator. The instructor was professional, very knowledgeable and patient. I would highly recommend these courses to anyone looking to do any sort of design work. The knowledge gained is outstanding, and the 2-day course structure is very convenient. I highly recommend.
Caroline McGechaen
Caroline McGechaen: The InDesign course was fantastic, really well-prepared lesson plans and lots of guidance and support. Class size was small which meant it was really easy to ask questions and get one on one help. Our instructor is a veteran in the business and gave us practical advice based on our needs. And it's great to know that there is ongoing support after the course as well. Would highly recommend it!
John Jason
John Jason: The customer service is very bad. The representative is very unprofessional and rude.

Visual College of Art and Design (VCAD) - Vancouver: what do users think?
Haili Maltais
Haili Maltais: The people that get ahold of you work for commission, are very pushy, and give you vague explanations on any questions you have. They couldn’t care less about your future. Do some research on this place and the people who run it. Save yourself.
Missile Kitten - Amanda Bayley (Missile Kitten)
Missile Kitten - Amanda Bayley (Missile Kitten): super excited to be enrolled in their Game Development program!
Ethan Cowper
Ethan Cowper: Orientation was really informative and the hosts were very nice, so far the enrolment experience has been great and I can’t wait to start my studies!
Nathan Alfred
Nathan Alfred: Awesome college!
Alissa Chan
Alissa Chan: It’s a wonderful experience to study at VCAD. Houman, the Admission Director whom interviewed me at the very beginning and always being very helpful in need! Trevor is the one who open the door of design for me, he is a very experienced and fantastic tutor in graphic design. Finally, Kirandeep was also very helpful and response quickly in helping me! Just want to say thank you to them!
Courtenay Baker
Courtenay Baker: I didn’t even fill out an application & they spent over a week harassing me with phone calls & text messages to get me to join.
Joe Doe
Joe Doe: They charge for classes that are 99% of the time public YouTube videos , they send underpowered gear , misled into a program I didn't really want , and they cost twice as much as the best school's of Canada. Their own employees don't even last a full term. And only 5 - 10 % of enrolled students end up graduating in 2 programs combined
jessica dosanjh
jessica dosanjh: I would give this school 0 stars if possible when enrolling they make it seem as if they really care to attend the students needs but once you are enrolled that all goes out the window. I’ve had the worst experience here and regret every enrolling to begin with and students service coordinator Jessica has been nothing but a nightmare can never get a response back from employees or any help on their end. And as of the program coordinator heather comes off very rude when your addressing issues doesn’t really care what you’re saying rather then getting her point across. Instructors at this institution themselves say it’s not the best experience. DONTTT SIGN YOURSELF UP ! look for better options for schooling. As it will be a waste of time. I’m not the only individual that feels this way speaking to other students they have the same experience as well. School should be shut down in my opinion.
ExCAL1BUR
ExCAL1BUR: anyone who has had a bad experience or has gotten scammed like myself by this school, post a review with all the information on your experience, the plan is to take legal action against this institution and all info is evidence
Helbert Salcedo
Helbert Salcedo: They called me to clean some couches (Upholstery work)and I never get paid. I will never put one of my kids in this school.
Amy Van Veen
Amy Van Veen: RUN FOR YOUR LIFE. This school is just a scam. They offer you laptops that don't arrive so you cannot do your work. Their systems are constantly down. They use aggressive commission based sales tactics to get anyone and everyone to enroll and take 30% of the entire program tuition if you want to withdraw. Teachers and staff don't respond to emails and the quality of teaching is mediocre. $43k to sit and watch youtube videos? This place should be shut down. Look at the glass door reviews from former employees saying they take advantage of vulnerable people and people with mental health issues. DO NOT GO HERE. Update: I filed a claim against these monsters with the private institutions branch of bc and won. They have been ordered to pay back the the $11,150 they stole from me. File your claim against them if you have been scammed too.
Devon Dutkiewicz
Devon Dutkiewicz: This was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made in my life. From the moment you talk to these people, they were incredibly pushy with their sales tactics style and lie about things to get you to sign up. I was told that I would recieve a laptop for class. The laptop didn't come for months after I had already started my course, which put me at a huge disadvantage and caused me to fall behind immediately. The software provided (through aws) was incredibly slow and buggy for everyone, and students were constantly having technical issues. The teachers themselves complained and apologized about the horrendous course curriculum that was embarrassingly put together. Half the time we watched videos pulled from YouTube... I was specifically told by a teacher that it was impossible to teach us what we needed to know in the timeframe given. That was just for Graphic Design....I then switched to 3D Animation, hoping it was just the graphic design course that was having issues. That was absolutely not the case...I never did recieve the laptop for my 3D Animation course, which again left me at a huge disadvantage because I was stuck using an inadequate computer for the class. This was never remedied, and I was only given excuse after excuse as to why I didn't get the laptop.I'm leaving a lot out, but these are just a few of the serious issues I had.Anyone even remotely thinking of attending this so called "school", please go anywhere else but here. I found out after I withdrew that the owner of this school as well as several others (including cdi) was charged with fraud in the US before moving to Canada to start more schools...And to top it all off, I can't even file my taxes for 2022 now because they aren't providing my T2202A tax form, which means I will potentially have to pay back my grant.... And I'm not the only one in this situation as I'm in contact with multiple former students. How this place is even still open is beyond me. Please DO NOT enroll.
S S
S S: I would suggest looking at an art program from a public school. For the cost of vcads two year graphic design diploma, i could have paid for three of the four years of a BFA at Emily Carr.. think twice before enrolling in a For-profit school.
Galvin Extasty
Galvin Extasty: Not a very good school/education system, went and did their online course for Graphic Design and it was a terrible experience, I do still thank them anyway for trying, though the tools they use aren't all up to code and administration isn't the easiest to deal with and get honest answers from. I got a busted Apple MacBook Air from them and had to get rid of it as it wasn't useable for my courses and programs for my classes there. Please be advised that these private institutions aren't all what they are cracked up to be.I even got discrimination used on me alongside lots of cyber bullying and the school here has yet to fully own up to everything and or take responsibility for their actions.I was told even by a friend of mine to not attend this place and I should have listened to them.Be safe and do take care and study before getting into any places like this because they won't tell you the whole story/truth anyway.I wouldn't recommend this school and it's programs to anybody really who's looking for greater education.
Sean MacGregor
Sean MacGregor: Online/Distance/Asynchronous coursework should be reviewed by the educator(s) prior to being taught as some of it is out of date or not relevant. The instructors should be able to apply secondary perspective, opinion, description, and understanding to the classwork being taught and provided to the students. The loss of potential due to lack of courage or interest from some educators is quite unfortunate to experience, although...I must say this to any prospective student wondering if this is the college for them; Unless you are committed and able to devote majority of your time and complete mental energy into the program you are considering (online or otherwise) you will struggle. If you are just out of Highschool, there is a certain level of self-discipline one must maintain and ANY post-secondary institution will require focus and dedication to have success in the career/industry you desire to achieve employment in.The staff at VCAD is nothing short of one that you will consider family, friends and come to find tremendous amounts of support from. When you want to succeed, VCAD will provide you with everything needed to do just that. Also I must reiterate that only with hard work and passion in your course/major, inside and outside of class, only then will you find any post-secondary education worthwhile or useful.VCAD Staff take great pride in getting students of all backgrounds the same opportunities and will accommodate any unforeseen circumstances that one might experience while being a student. Personally, in comparison to other institutions that offer similar programs, without a doubt, VCAD takes the cake. You wont be disappointed or waste your time if you choose this college.Campus located~CALGARY~VANCOUVER~ONLINEInquire more if you think it sounds right for you!
Krys Pawluk (Krystina)
Krys Pawluk (Krystina): Laptop is NOT free, it's part of your tuition and is basically useless once you're out of school. You have to use a school admin to sign into the laptop and when I called was told there was no way to change it.Costs the same as a 4 year degree in literally anything else ($40k+) but you're only in school 1.5 years. They don't give you the licensing for the programs you need for their classes, you sign in to an online portal called AWS, I assume to "save money" except it means you can't access your programs for your courses if you lose internet or if the internet is spotty/your area has outages at all. And that's IF you're lucky and CAN access it! It doesn't even work for a bunch of students in many of my classes. IT can't help you UNLESS it's about the AWS portal, so no actual help with the programs or licensing as I've come to learn. And student services just pawns you off on someone else as "they're trying to help students best they can" by not actually providing any help at all.I feel like I was swindled applying to this school, they definitely make it seem "too good to be true" because it is!VCAD is 1 of many similar "skills schools" across the country and this one school alone made over $96MIL in revenue in 2022!! But they can't afford program licensing for their students? Make it Make sense!Don't make the same mistakes many have made, avoid these schools and anything like them. CDI, OCAD, etc. They only want your enrollment for your money. They don't actually want you to succeed. They get their tuition either way...
Natasha Keewatin
Natasha Keewatin: Newly enrolled student.Almost done with my first week. Staff seem great. The prosses wasn't bad.
Jade Reid
Jade Reid: Great College! Great customer service and counsling. Easy to understand.
Morgan Pasternak
Morgan Pasternak: Orientation was amazing, both Brittney and Hanan did amazing at making us feel comfortable and excited to start our new careers!
Rachel Urquhart
Rachel Urquhart: Student orientation was a blast. Brittney is super funny 😄 I really enjoyed it a lot!!!
UHAFN NU
UHAFN NU: After a few difficult hurdles, I found myself back on my feet and now I'm ready to be a better student. I could not have done this without support from staff. Thank you.

BrainStation: what do users think?
Vinojeith Varathan
Vinojeith Varathan: Very Immersive Experience. I took Data Analytics at the Toronto campus and overall found it to be such a great course. Very immersive and am always supported by both the lead and the assistant lead on any issues we have. Great introduction to data analytics and has given me the foundation / confidence to start a more defined career in this field.
Roxanne Tan
Roxanne Tan: Just finished the Data Analytics course at Brainstation. The teachers were knowledgeable and encouraging and it was great to be able to learn an additional skill set to add value to my day to day at work.
Sebastian Astaiza
Sebastian Astaiza: I was worried it was going to be like other courses i had taken before with a lot of lectures and little practice. Also, I had little experience on data analytics so I wasn't sure if I was able to wrap my head around the topic. None of these happened. Instructors had lots of experience in the area and knew how to explain complex topics. All lessons had tons of practice exercises and collaboration among classmates was amazing. Never thought I was going to like it that much.
Heejin An
Heejin An: This course teaches basic to advanced Python, such as how to explore and analyze data in Python and machine learning algorithm types and applications. Even though I studied Python and Machine Learning algorithms before taking this course, I learned a lot. I could understand the statistics behind the logic and codes better and apply all those points to my own project. The best part is that the instructors are industry experts who are data scientists and machine learning experts in the current industry. It was a great opportunity to learn their precious tips and experiences.
Abigail Nierves
Abigail Nierves: Took the Product Management course and it was systematic and easy to follow. The flow of the class was well explained by both the instructors and they were also there to answer any questions with clarity while using their work experience to elaborate further.
Muhammad Umar
Muhammad Umar: Amazing learning experience, was skeptical to go back to the class room after this long but was a great experience definitely came out strong
Natalia Sokolova
Natalia Sokolova: I finished Data Analytics course. Overall, I've found the course to be a well-structured and engaging program that provides a strong foundation of knowledge and practical skills in the field. One of the highlights of the course for me has been the opportunity to work on hands-on assignments that allow for practical application of the concepts learned in class. These assignments have helped me to develop a better understanding of how to use tools like MySQL in real-world scenarios, and have allowed me to build confidence in my abilities.Another aspect of the course that I've appreciated is the clear and concise explanations of complex concepts. The instructors have done an excellent job of breaking down difficult topics into manageable parts, making it easy to follow along and understand. Finally, I've been impressed by the supportive and approachable nature of the instructors. They have been always available to help and provide guidance whenever I had questions or concerns, which has been an invaluable resource throughout the course.
Anyssa Siero
Anyssa Siero: Great experience and would recommend attending the Digital Marketing course!
Miko Wang
Miko Wang: good!
Michael Tran
Michael Tran: I took the Data Analytics program at BrainStation and found it was a great introduction to topics in the industry. The 10 week course goes by quick. If you have an existing understanding of Microsoft Excel, you might consider more advanced programs they have to offer.
Ernesto Sanchez
Ernesto Sanchez: "I half-way through the Data Science Professional Certification program at BrainStation, and I couldn't be happier with the experience.Great and knowledgeable instructors.
PIYUSH KHENGAR
PIYUSH KHENGAR: I've worked with UX Designers for several years before taking BrainStation's course, and was always in awe of the magic they weave to create delightful experiences. However, in 2020, I started to manage UX Designers for the first time in my career, and found myself severely lacking in the skills and knowledge required to support them and their career growth. I wish I'd taken this course sooner, as it helped me to understand, and better appreciate their methods. Which, in turn helps me to be a better thought partner with them, better represent them in annual performance reviews, and support them during promotion reviews.
Freja L
Freja L: If you're new to the field of UX ,taking a course can be essential to jumpstart your career. A good UX course can provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed in this rapidly growing industry. One of the best things about UX courses is that they often include a hands-on project, such as creating your own case study. This is a great opportunity to apply what you've learned in a practical setting and showcase your skills to potential employers.
CTM C
CTM C: My first class was a big shock as there is a lot of systemic racism among the classmates based of ethnicity, gender, and ugliness. The teacher should not have asked the students to make their own groups based on their personal liking. This is so unfair to people like me as nobody wanted me in their group. Also the teacher made some offensive remarks against women which hurt my feelings a lot as a woman who does not have a pretty face.
Saba Farheen
Saba Farheen: Overall, I had nothing but positive things to say about my experience. I was away from my studies for a long time but was admitted to the Diploma of Web Development. The study materials were excellent; the faculty members were very helpful and supportive. They motivated us to find the solution by ourselves by guiding us and not spoon-feeding us. If you are ready to emerge and challenge yourself in web development, then BrainStation is the perfect coding school for you. Be prepared to work hand and touch the sky!
Antonio Alvarez
Antonio Alvarez: If this was an airline; it'd be pretty good at overbooking.
Jason fu
Jason fu: Avoid
Doug “Whistler Realtor” Treleaven
Doug “Whistler Realtor” Treleaven: This company is awesome! If your talents in I.T. need to be tweaked, this is the place to be enrolled!
Ab Alharbi
Ab Alharbi: Horrible communication and evaluation skills. A challenge on which I got a “solid submission” and “it’s better than the one I submitted” approval by three UX Designers, one of whom was a previous teacher assistant at BrainStation, did not “meet the minimum requirement.” Then, that was followed by my calls getting repeatedly cancelled and rescheduled and emails ignored.Just horrible. Save yourself the energy and time and don’t even apply. If I could give negative stars, I would.
Darian Kovacs
Darian Kovacs: They continue to put out grads that our agency LOVES to hire - well trained, well versed and solid response from their instructors for references. Great school.
Shahlika Shahroodi
Shahlika Shahroodi: awful!!!!! several Time I tried to call and connect to their adviser, their booked me and I waiting during day for 3 times and Nobody call me! one time somebody call me and he hang up the phone on me!!! I was very interested to start!! but how they guarantee for support people like that?!!

Komalpreet Kaur
Komalpreet Kaur: Really disappointing experience with this college. I’m trying to call them from last week neither they are answering my call properly ,nor they are replying to my any mail😵.
Eva Braam
Eva Braam: Good food, and absolutely outstanding hosting 10/10
Sofia Prado
Sofia Prado: Really disappointing experience. They sell the idea of preparing students for outside opportunities and a chance to network with industry which was never true. 7 months prior to graduation, and many students (including myself) are unemployed. Unfair that they only care about the money. I never felt a supportive environment during my studies neither after graduation.
jagraj singh 0190
jagraj singh 0190: Its really awesome all the staff is very respectful and helps me in very polite way
Debs WC
Debs WC: Their agent on WhatsApp is very rude, I am only asking just to make sure that everything I need to know before applying is correct, but the person got annoyed by my questions. Very unprofessional. Take down your WhatsApp if you do not want questions and inquiries from future applicants.
Daljeet Singh
Daljeet Singh: Scam college
nhạc sàn hay
nhạc sàn hay: Never recommend this school for fashion design studying. This school will put u in a passive position that u have to cope with quick and superficial lectures with unreasonable tuition fees.
Duaa Yamani
Duaa Yamani: I am a fashion student and would like to mention about our best draping teacher(Julia) she is knowledgeable, professional and always trying to teach us different techniques and ways to do creative fashionThank you JuliaAlso would like to mention about the receptionist and person who works in the book store are super friendly and always available to helpThank you

AJ Maybe
AJ Maybe: Great school! Teachers are friendly and open to help, and I find the environment quite welcoming.
madison jarvis
madison jarvis: Great school if your looking for smaller class sizes and one-on-one learning experience.Starbucks is just across the street which is great when I need an energy-boost.I am half way through my Architecture and Interior Design Degree, and from my experience what I can say is you will get what you put into it.If you are a hard worker and you strive for success... that will be recognized amongst the instructors and they will do everything and anything to help.If you want to do the bare minimum and "get by" well then, sorry... this isn't the industry for you because its very competitive and requires hard work, haha.If you're the kind of person who has leadership qualities and would like to be involved in the student life on campus then I recommend that you join the Student Representative Committee. When I was reading through the previous comments from 2+ years ago (this was before my time), I can honestly say that from my experience I can't agree or relate to anything that those people were concerned about. The school switched ownership years ago and as a result many things have improved.

The Interior Design Institute - Canada: what do users think?
MM Nz. (Mymy)
MM Nz.
Ruben Perez
Ruben Perez: Taking an online course in Interior Design at The Interior Design Institute helped me to complement my knowledge in interior decorating and let me develop my skills and confidence in this field. The Interior Design Institute offers pertinent content that focuses on teaching technical topics and developing the knowledge and abilities necessary for students to perform professionally in the interior design arena. Each module presents a balanced structure of specific theory and practice that allowed me to gain discernment and apply it to clearly described assignments that I submitted to my tutor for evaluation, marking and feedback. My tutors and the student support team were always available to answer and solve my questions and concerns in a prompt, clear, and friendly manner.I'm currently taking an advanced module on Sketchup drawing, and I still experience the same satisfaction for receiving excellent course content, guidance, and support.
Jessica Adeoye
Jessica Adeoye: I remember when I started the search for a design program that would be a great fit for me because I was juggling work and my two kids, and I wondered how I was going to make the time for this new path that I wanted to pursue. I would say that finding the Design Institute was a dream come true for me because It was just what I needed. Each module was very easy to understand and beautifully illustrated. The best part of this program was the fact that I didn't need to rush it; I had enough time to study and work on the assignments given after each module. I also had the best tutor whose reviews gave me the confidence I needed to continue on this path, and I can't wait to start working in this field.Ultimately, The Design Institute has been an amazing experience for me. I absolutely recommend this program to anyone who is considering a career in interior design. Thank you, IDI.
Darlan Arruda
Darlan Arruda: I have signed up for this interior design course with high hopes (based on the reviews) it would be a nice experience. This is a self-taught course, which to me it is not really a problem. The course falls short on the following:1 - The material is basically composed of a PDF with around 70+ pages with high level descriptions of the content being taught. At times, the content seems very outdated and superficial.2 - Most of the examples depicted thought pictures within the PDF lacks deep explanation, thought and arguments.3- The tutor provides you with a standard robotized answer which does not directly address your questions, in general.4 - There is no video content available as part of the course. However, on the course information page on their website, they state that the course is composed of high quality video content for better engagement. This is not TRUE. There is no video content except for the module 4 (drawing floor plans) where one video is available.I understand that the student should and must be curious to seek knowledge from other sources and build upon the experience. However, the course value does not match what is being charged. You only get 12 PDFs (poorly designed by the way) and access to the tutors with robotized replies.I understand that most of the people need the course because of the certificate. In this case, for the same price or a few bucks more, you can get better programs with better support and comprehensive course materials. If you want to save money and learn the basics while searching for a better course, just buy this book on amazon for $25 bucks: The Interior Design Handbook: Furnish, Decorate, and Style Your Space. It covers all content proposed in this course and yet in much better quality.
MELFORT TATTOO SHOP
MELFORT TATTOO SHOP: This course is excellent! They present a wide range of relevant information relating to the industry. The module tasks give you a great opportunity to engage with the workflow you will experience as a professional designer. My tutor was exceptionally qualified and a wonderful help through the entire process. I would rate it 10/10 for the entire course.
Aleksandra Tot
Aleksandra Tot: This will be a 100% honest review. When purchasing this course 2 years ago, I didn't know what to expect. But, during my journey, I came across amazing organization and educational materials, easily understandable and structured, and big support: from my fellow students as well as from my tutor, a lot of inspiration and value! Additional work (behind the modules) is needed if you are curious and want to be an expert in the field (and this is studying, after all), but it is not required to pass the assignments and understand the concepts... You will learn about yourself and how you approach design, just like I did. I loved this course so much and will continue doing advanced modules.
Cassidy Scarlett
Cassidy Scarlett: This course has honestly done wonders for me! I can't wait to see where it will take me in the near future! I was a little worried and hesitant at first because I'm not the best reader (very slow hard for me to stay in the zone) but the way these modules are put together really helped with that! Being a visual person, all the pictures along the way helped & made it feel not as overwhelming! Also, the Facebook group and the tutors are just amazing! You don't have to be scared to put yourself out there because they all understand. It's very nice having people to talk to throughout and have another opinion! I'm so glad I took this opportunity, and I can't wait to start some projects!
Karine Lydia Bergeron
lisa leo
lisa leo: Not actually base in Canada despite what website states.
Sarah Feltz
Sarah Feltz: I enrolled in this course after looking at the price of this one relative to all of the other nearby options (which are slim in Saskatchewan, Canada!). The course itself has a lot of valuable information and definitely gives you a good foundational knowledge of interior design and the different types of documents and deliverables that you produce as an interior designer. After completing this course, I feel much more confident promoting my new interior design business and talking to prospective clients. If you are on the edge of pursuing an interior design career, I would say this is a great course to gain the knowledge you need to take that step!
Jana Frentz
Jana Frentz: I was incredibly impressed with this program (and I teach in postsecondary)! I appreciated the intentionality of delivering valuable content in a concise and clear matter. The course was broken up very well, and I felt that each assignment greatly contributed to my learning. It is challenging to deliver a course both virtually and in only 12 modules, but IDI accomplished this with such efficacy! I know I will be referring back to my modules frequently as I start working on my own. This program was invaluable to my learning as an Interior Designer, and I appreciate that it didn't require years of in-class learning. I know I will be back soon to take advanced modules. Thank you, IDI!
Christine interiors
Christine interiors: To all who wish to have a future in interior design, this is the course for you. The course is so direct and equips you with all the tools you will need for your craft.I appreciated the simplicity, but at the same time, work is involved along with determination. Having suffered a stroke in 2010 left me with a deficit in my right hand, and I am right-handed, so I have a weakness with it. Drawing plans with my hand was a challenge, but my tutor worked with me, and I accomplished it. The Interior Design Institute helped to remove barriers and gave me the self-confidence I needed to move forward in this field. Willpower and the amazing support you will receive will help you to be inspired and help you to succeed. I never realized how many avenues of interior design there were, and the class helped me see exactly who I am in the industry and where it will take me in the future, so now my journey begins.
Ingrid Moffat
Ingrid Moffat: My love and passion for Interior Design led me to sign up for this diploma, and while I felt I had a good eye for detail and design and had done some interior work for friends and family, I had no idea what to expect from this course, but I have to say it turned out to be one of the best things I could have ever done both professionally and personally to improve myself as a Designer.During this pandemic, the workload of the course kept me so grounded, focused, motivated and challenged, that I felt the need only to give my best as it prepared me for what to expect in the real world of Design. In addition, it pushed me to find innovative ways to demonstrate my skills in the use of software programs, drawings, elevations, brochures and portfolio development design so that if I wanted to open my own design business, I would have all the necessary tools and skills at my fingertips. Thanks to my wonderful tutor Sophie Seeger and the Support Staff at IDI for their professional, warm, friendly and timely guidance and responses, I completed my course with a grade in the nineties percentage range. I look forward to specializing in one of their advanced modules in the near future. In the interim, if you want to be a great designer, take the plunge and invest in this course. It is a lot of work but truly worth your investment, time and effort. Go for it!
Michelle Tasa
Michelle Tasa: As a previous educator, I have appreciated the care given to developing this course in a way that maximizes learning. This is the future of post-secondary education! The course is not bloated with theory and academic analysis. It is practical, engaging and hands-on. Each module builds upon the knowledge and skills previously acquired. By the end of the course, I felt confident that I could take on my first interior design project and succeed. I would recommend this course without hesitation.
Sara de Jong
Sara de Jong: The experience that comes with this program is worth a lifetime. After advancing in many design (and decorating) courses at local colleges, I found this program the most informational and inspiring! When considering this program, I worried that I would be spending money on what would be a "botched together - online program." However, I am here to tell you that you have nothing to worry about if you are considering this program! This program is in-depth and full of things that I was not even taught in person at my local colleges. I learned things that I never thought to be necessary for design as-well-as all the things anyone passionate about design would be excited about learning! In return, I am confident going into the world now as a certified and knowledgeable designer! All thanks to this program.
Camille Lessard
Amanda Thompson
Amanda Thompson: This online course was absolutely amazing! I loved every second of it. There is so much information and so much engagement from my tutor, as well as other students in the Facebook group.I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in interior design. It's an investment worth making!
Tash W
Tash W: I stumbled onto my passion for interior design while going through the full scale tear down & renovation of my own home 8 years ago. At the time, I was working as a web developer at a large company and was very unhappy in my day to day job. The more time I spent working on my home and bringing the spaces to life from what I'd envisioned in my head, the more I realized that this was what I meant to do.Starting over in a second career meant that I wasn't prepared to enter into a 4-year degree program. Still, I did want to ensure I'd have the training needed to backup my natural abilities and give me the confidence to set out on my own. This course gave me exactly that. The modules teach you so much more than just “how to style a space & make it pretty”. I was pleasantly surprised at how in-depth it went on the foundational elements of design - even providing information on the history of architecture and the psychology of colour theory, along with the elements you'd expect such as space planning, furniture selection, and so much more. The course material is well-written, easy to understand, and the visuals help to illustrate the content beautifully. My tutor, Robert, was wonderful and communicating with him was very easy. He provided excellent feedback after each assignment and responded promptly if ever I had any questions. Now that I've completed the course, I'm excited to start my own business and already have 2 client projects lined up! I'm grateful for the knowledge I've gained in this course & am looking forward to getting more experience in the field.
Tea Malbasic
Tea Malbasic: This has been a great experience from start to finish! I have learned way more than I thought I would and the things I learned are things that you could use for everyday home décor or if you are evolving into a business. This course has made me want to start up my own business more than ever. I thought I loved the concept of interior design before, but after completing this course and getting great feedback from my tutor, I fell in love with it even more. I am excited to see where my career takes me from here!
Kaitlyn Rempel
Kaitlyn Rempel: I absolutely loved learning about interior design through this course! I came into the course with very little prior knowledge about interior design and was purely interested in getting more knowledge in the field. I found this course to be helpful and informative, while still being fun! The learning was hands-on, and I felt that I was gaining real experience in the field as I went along and completed the modules. Although challenging at times, I am glad that I persevered and now feel a great sense of accomplishment for completing the course! Upon completing the course, I feel as though I now have the knowledge to accompany my passion for interior design as a potential business or career option! I highly recommend the interior design institute course to anyone who is thinking of interior design as a potential career, or simply a point of interest!
stephanie lapointe
Merci IDI !

VCC - Downtown Campus: what do users think?
Jon Sheffield
Jon Sheffield: The food from the culinary arts students is outstanding and reasonably priced. Apart from the limited timing this place rule for downtown food open to the public. The cafe sells butchered meats cheaper than any grocery store.
Ehsan Mahditabar
Ehsan Mahditabar: My best year was in VCC with excellent teaching and high learning level
HappyGirl1989
HappyGirl1989: I had a bad experience here with the cooking school back in the year 2018. I was being very mistreated by a substitute chef here. I left in tears, never stepping foot here no matter what program they have to offer here. Stay away, I am warning you.
Munim Chowdhury
Munim Chowdhury: Went for a brief visit with my friend as he got admitted in an automotive program in VCC. The space is well utilized, and staff are friendly. Parking has to be done on the street.
kait patt
kait patt: I was enrolled in doing online classes to upgrade some courses. I had so many problems, not being able to see my classes, not being able to get a concrete answer from anyone just kept getting transferred to someone else. They don't put any prices out for you to see and you will be half way through your course and they want you to complete "part 2" which means re paying. Other I know who have gone here say they were completely used just for their money. This school is all about the money.
Sandra Landaverde
Sandra Landaverde: VCC is in the downtown core easy access while there you can enjoy their services which it's run by highly qualified students instructors and personal in general study 📖 as well 😉
Stuart Furness
Stuart Furness: Keep an eye out, the new VCC bake shop will be opening soon.
Christopher Edwards
Christopher Edwards: I had an academic advising appointment with Kseniia, she was very kind and able to answer all my questions and explain the options I have going forward. Very excited about continuing my education with VCC.
Jonathan Lumu
Jonathan Lumu: Best I wish for everyone
Fakhr Alrakwi
Fakhr Alrakwi: Great place to get affordable yet yummy meals made by future chefs 👨‍🍳 😋
Ki Rocky (Rocky)
Ki Rocky (Rocky): ALLERT: Think carefully before studying in this school, especially INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS once they had your money, they don’t care or really help you.WANT TO LEFT SCHOOL, yes you can go but NO REDUND in their dictionary.
R L
R L: Apparently this school doesn’t work for everyone I was told by the instructor - just a select few - it’s not inclusive of all walks of life.8 students from the dental hygiene program failed the first semester. That’s 36.6% failure rate. Instructors do not know how to teach anatomy. When it came to learning anatomy they do not show students how to distinguish between teeth, anomalies or anything of the such. They don’t elaborate on the learning topics. Just verbatim of slides in class. They don’t have frequent testing to ensure information sticks. Also, come 4pm - good luck finding an instructor. They all disappear. As a person, it’s great! classes end at 4pm. but as a learning environment, it shouldn’t close so soon. Lazy people. And if they do see you struggling... instead of helping the student personally they pass the buck to learning services. Like learning services is a tutor in the DH program. They are not. They like to blame the student and lack of studying. Which isn’t the case. They need to teach better. Many students struggled with learning what the instructors want them to learn. They are not clear in what needs to be known. They might have been good decades ago but they sure are out of date now.

Stephen James: My advisor left the campus. My review was intended to highlight the efforts of this person in my educational endeavours. Thus, I am left to revise the review accordingly.
Sapan Sandhu
Sapan Sandhu: Good but expensive college, staff is very friendly. Premises and maintenance are worth watching.
Verna victoria Mclaughlin
Verna victoria Mclaughlin: I only stopped in but it was a clean and inviting campus
Simi M
Simi M: VCC sets up students for success. The few instructors whose classes I taken have been genuine educators looking to support students achieve their goals.
Ben Wiese
Ben Wiese: Awesome Culinary Program.I learned a lot from VCC. Excellent experience living in Vancouver for sure. memories of taking the Skytrain, and met some really interesting people during my time living There off Joyce. Thanks Hamid. I still have our 2014 Grad Photo. I remember our classes well.Good time.
B
B: I believe Library is for student there study quietly right ? But I guess not , we were just trying to do out work in quite place but this lady and her probably beauty student came in talking super loud and distractingly in the middle of library. And her ugly laugh is so irritating to hear .
Amelia C
Amelia C: Horrible instructors. They don't teach you the course properly, and mark you extremely hard on any work. I've been to other colleges, and this one is by far the WORST. Too many people in the class, and can't be bothered to help or even explain how to do assignments properly.
