Dan Mongeon: This site is a scam / fraud. They will not cancel your auto-subscription. Also, all nanny profiles state 100% response rate. I must have messaged over 100 "nannies" with no response what so ever. I've tried cancelling through my online account, calling, and emailing. Nothing. How is this company still operating.

Poster rocker: This was my worst nightmare finding manny! Everything thing looks legit but everything is FAKE! Do not pay them. Absolutely no customer service. There are hundreds of fake profiles! Never got any answer from any of them. Customer service never replies! Deep fake website! They took money off my credit card and i have any way to get my money back!
Mary Caros: Like others here have mentioned I am now convinced this is a scam site. I paid the "premium" membership and had absolutely zero engagement with our ad. And I have received zero replies from the company to several requests I've made regarding the profile and finances. "Lisa" is a bot and there doesn't seem to be anyone else...
Leandra Y: I wish I could give zero stars.We had such a bad experience with this site that I was 99% convinced it was a scam site. But it turns out apparently it’s real, they just have absolutely awful customer service (well, none actually), and one of the most glitchy/inconsistent websites I have ever been to. I sent several emails, and only received a few replies - none of them addressing the issues I had mentioned in my message. It seems like their customer service rep “Lisa” is a bot, because every time she would reply to me it was with something that had virtually nothing to do with the message I’d sent. E.g. “Hi, I can’t seem to post a profile pic, can you help me?” Reply: Hi! Have you tried emailing helpers in your area? It’s a great way to get things moving!” .......... My husband and I have learned a $60 lesson - take my advice and find somewhere else for your sitter.
Corey A: I think this website is a scam. after my expensive 1 month membership expired. I had a reply. The only way to answer back was to join again. So I did and never got a reply from that babysitter. I think the profile for that person was a fake. I asked for a refund and never got a reply from My Best Helper. Scam be careful.
B M.: Think very carefully before spending money here. It's very expensive. The customer service is lousy. I didn't get any reposes to me emails to customer service. I didn't get any responses to my advert-even though I was offering a very good hourly rate. Try all other options before you use this site. I regret spending money on this site and won't use it again.
Lisa Brown: This company is a huge disappointment, paid the money to be a member so I could find a sitter and tried to contact the sitters (8 of them) and didn't get a single reply back, pretty sure these are fake profiles on site! Also tried to contact the company directly a few times through phone and email and no reply. Weekly they would send me a email to ask how i was doing in finding a sitter and they asked if they could be of any assistance, when i replied back to the emails i got no response in return! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!
Suzanne Fielden: I really liked the service of best helper to find child care but they keep charging my credit card $62 a month and I have not used there services since February. I cancelled it on line and called them to cancel it - but alas I have been charged again and they have not responded to my request to be refunded. Just keep charging me. So beware - it is a very expensive baby sitter finder.
Francine L: Quality website with a solid and trustworthy team behind the scenes for support. They actually do what they promise - call/message the support line if you aren't getting the results you're hoping for - truly a step above other nanny websites.
Marcin Popielarz: I used mybesthelper to look for occasional petsitter for my dog Carmel in Vancouver. I got over 16 applications in first 3 days and the first one was in just couple of minutes. All profiles were wonderful and my only problem left was which one to choose!

Came out with different crafts and drawings each day.Ange was always quick to answer my emails and assist me with anything I needed. Online booking system is fab.My daughter enjoyed coming here, she made some great friends and loved Teacher Mary & Teacher Jane! Kriti Sharma: It is a great place for children who are accustomed to daycare and already go to schools, my daughter likes it. But not so for younger kids, at least in my opinion. It depends on teacher too. One of the teacher was great and compassionate with my 2-year old. He was calm with her after a while but it doesn’t happen always. I dropped my child at 9 for an hour. I stood below the building as he was crying a lot. I waited and waited for him to calm (as he has earlier) but he was hysterically crying. I went to pick him up after 30 minutes and asked teacher if she offered her some apple slices and water (I told her before dropping him that if he gets cranky, please offer apple and water), she said she did! But when I came back and opened, the box wasn’t opened. Out of 5 slices of apple, none was taken and box wasn’t even opened. Bottle had exactly same water too. It got me very upset. I asked her that why did she not calm him down if he was crying. He told me not to tell her how to do her job. I told her that I wasn’t telling her how to do her job but was giving a feedback. She told me to leave and not to book with her again ! I said I don’t won’t but I wonder can she say that? Why could she not understand my concern. I just didn’t want to stress the child out. When I went to pick him up, he was roaming after teacher for her attention but she wasn’t bothered much. I was not expecting her to mother the child but to show some compassion. There were three other children in the class, and if one needs teacher’s attention, how difficult is it it to pay a 2-year old some attention? I don’t expect much from teachers but definitely expect them to show compassion and not ignorance. Yes, children cry but teachers also try to make them feel better. I am sure that teacher might be nice to kids especially with those who can take care of themselves and express themselves but unfortunately I can’t say the same with my child. It broke my heart. During pandemic when I want child to find comfort outside of home and to meet new children, this incident kept me thinking but I am hopeful that there are people who have compassion, can take criticism and tru to understand what a mother tries to tell them!
R. Lee: A nice place for occasional daycare. It’s very convenient for us as we live downtown. The online booking system is convenient. Wish there was more time spent outdoors, otherwise, we are happy with the program.
Derek Ho: My daughter loves going to Blackbird. Some days she doesn't want to come home. Many other day care facilities is simply a supervised free play time area. Not Blackbird - each month they have a different teaching topic. My daughter always comes back with different artistic crafts. Teachers are very caring and professional - cultivating an inviting quality environment for their students.Too bad it has a maximum of 40 hrs / month - we would sign up for full-time if given the chance!

When we first started my son had never been away from me and was scared to be without me but the staff were so caring and he became comfortable really quickly. Now my son always asks when he can go back again!!

Anna Larson: We found an awesome Au Pair through this company. Happy with the process and my kids love her :) Trying to convince her to stay longer.....12 months placements of Au Pairs can be challenging for the children but overall a good program for parents.
Josephine Torres: We used this agency to apply for a LMIA application to hire a caregiver applicant from Peru. The application was approved within 3 weeks :) and our caregiver arrived after 12 weeks. Would use them again in the future.
Melanie Reiser: Our au pair arrived a few weeks ago. The whole process was smooth and pretty pain free. Ideally, I would like for the au pair to stay longer than 11 months but I guess that is how the program is designed. Overall, would recommend them if you need a quick childcare solution.

Claire Holz: Vancouver B.CI wouldn't recommend this agency at all !They didn't found a new family and didn't believe me when I told them the huge problems I had with my hostfamily.I really needed help, but they did nothing. The employes (Stefanie Petermann) have no experience and didn't realise my bad situation...They will not refund the money.This agency is really a place to stay away from !
Edward Porter: We hired a German Au Pair through this agency. The processing only took 7 weeks which was much faster than hiring a foreign nanny( 8 months). Most of our friends hire illegal Au Pairs on tourist visas, we didn't want to go this route.Nice staff and they always answer the phone compared to other nanny services.
Janson Walker: Bad service, the owner is from Philippine. She is charging the nanny extra $5000 overseas on top of thousands dollars employer paid to them in Canada. They actually helped nanny quit after they landed in Canada. BE AWARE!
Elisabeth Waters: We had a very positive experience with this company. After doing a great deal of research, this agency was the only one who offered nanny applicants from various countries like Europe, South America, South Africa and Asia.All the other agencies only seem to offer Filipino nannies which is fine but we wanted a change.We ended up hiring a lovely gal from South Africa , a former US Au pair . She also has a valid drivers licence and we have been quiet happy with her and the general service we received from International Nannies & Homecare Ltd.

Natalia Cabrera: I absolutely love Kids & Company and I'm so grateful to have my child in this daycare. Would recommend it a 100% to anyone. The staff is so welcoming, my daughters first day was so emotional as it was her first birthday and the staff was so nice!I love that I don't have to worry about food, they include nutritious food and snacks and even milk. I can see her through the camera and my heart is full everyday when I actually see she is having fun. They send you everyday reports about baby diaper change, meal, drinks etc.Overall I am so happy!
Cristina Faralla: Great center with amazing teachers and high quality standards of care for children of any age. Over the years my kids went through the infant, toddler and preschool programs and they loved any stage. Teachers are fantastic and both my kids are excited and look forward to going to school every morning. The flexible hours of 7am-6pm help greatly for parents with full time jobs, meal preparation is also a great addition to their program and the menus are very balanced and tasty. The school does a very good job in always asking feedback from families and constantly implementing our suggestions. They have a very few days a years when they close and they also offer extra childcare for special events like “date nights”. I would strongly recommend this center to anyone! It is on average slightly more expensive than most other childcares in Vancouver but for everything extra they offer it is more than worth it!
Will Swanston: Lots of parents on here venting about deposits. Looks like the team is responding to those issues. This is not indicative of the facility, staff and level of care at Kids & Co. which are awesome. We feel really lucky that our kid gets to go here.

In all likelihood I am never going to see that money again.Find somewhere else to register your child.

Trevor Stokvis: Seems like most of the bad reviews here is due to the waitlist, which isn't really fair-- I ignored them when looking at daycares and I am glad I did. This is what's actually important: in every respect this is an absolutely fantastic daycare. My daughter loves it here, when I say "time to go to daycare" in the morning she runs to the door. There are tons of crafts and activities; after only a few months our fridge was no longer visible since it is covered with all of the paintings we bring home. Management is quick to respond to emails. The caregivers genuinely care about my daughter's well being. I feel like I can go on and on about this place, we absolutely love it.
Marian H: Great daycare!! Our daughter loves attending and asks to go. I see most people are upset with the waitlist deposit which we did do as well and waited for basically a year to get in. I do enjoy the option of being able to see your child via camera, the programming activities and that they provide meals and snacks. I would recommend this daycare to others and feel comfortable in the level of care provided to my toddler.
Chris Jacques: Asking customers to pay to get on a 3 year waitlist is just plain disrespectful and insulting. Just say 'corporate members only' in big letters on your website and don't waste everyone else's time!
Soledad Ronco: I was on their waitlist for almost two years, having paid their $2375 deposit for my infant.When I decided that I wouldn't require their services even if I got a spot, I cancelled the waitlist spot and requested my deposit back, as per their guidelines.They asked me to wait 6-8 weeks for the cheque.I did, then contacted them (also as per their instructions). The cheque was apparently awaiting a signature in their Ontario office and would be mailed at the END of week 8.As of posting still have not recieved it.You be the judge of whether or not a company that behaves in such a cavalier manner with their clients' resources is worth doing business with.
Paramount Manager: These guys are in the business of setting on your deposit money while continuously lying about when ur kid would start. They have become very good at this scam and will not let them get away with it. Don’t believe them and I never expected a child care facility to be this unprofessional.
Jonathan Polak: Excellent, extraordinary daycare. they are open to modifying the food they give your child if you ask for it.
Susan Bendall: While expensive, this is a fabulous daycare! Tons of programming, great facilities, caring staff, and flexible meals.
Solomon Wong: Do not ever consider this location. Kids & Company is reputable for a lot of friends, but to be considered for placement we paid $1,300 on June 28, 2013 to be on a waiting list. It took close to two (2) years, repeated requests and dialogue with Toronto head office to get our money back - minus the $150 non-refundable deposit. When the money came back in the mail ($1,150) there was no note, no explanation, no apology.We discovered over the past year that this was no an isolated incident but many many other families have had this experience with Kids & Company - preying on the limited amount of daycare spaces.This shady business practice makes this location one you should seriously pause, reconsider *before* you open your chequebook.

I love babysitting and spending time with kids but it's hard to find the time since I already have a full-time job. Natalia Cabrera: My daughter loves Kids & Company!This a gold star daycare! its pricey but totally worth every penny. Food is amazing, my daughter loves and I can see from the cameras how happy she is.Having live cameras gave me so much peace, at least at the beginning because I could witness she was a happy kid after I left her crying the first couple of days. Also, I like that they are easy and under stable about kids getting sick and don't pretend to send them home right away.Teacher Male, Ritika and Rava are just some of the few teachers that take care of my daughter every day. My daughter comes home happy and sometimes she doesn't even say bye bye because she is too excited to start a new day there.If you get a spot don't hesitate!! its the best!

Claire Thoughts: My daughter went to this daycare, and I got so disappointed ... on paper it looks so good and organized but in reality. Teachers are just overwhelmed with protocols, you can see that what is important in this daycare is following the protocol... unfortunately it looks like in their protocol there’s nothing about interacting with kids, not let a kid cry, explain kids how to behave with each others...It looks like their protocol is about: « giving food/changing diapers/ and sleep » such a simplistic way of seeing care of kids :(... at least lunch time looked nice, and the space for kids look safe (that’s why I gave 2 stars and not just one).Let me share my experience.I went to the transition (few days for your kids to adapt to the daycare) and it was a nightmare. Kids were crying the all day, and teachers were just indifferent. When I questioned they just answered it’s because they are new and when I asked how new? some of them were there since weeks... some kids were just crying at the door the all day... it was so heartbreaking... teachers were too busy following protocols, they had tasks to do but none of them was about sharing some quality time or emotions with kids... after nap time some kids were smelling like poo, but I guess in the protocol it wasn’t the diaper change time so no teacher changed them, I can’t believe they didn’t smell it when they took them out from the crib, but I believe they don’t smell it after as they don’t get close of crying kids.I discussed with the manager about my observations, she was really receptive listening carefully... but in reality I felt I was just consider as one of this anxious mom of her kid going to daycare... I thought that too at the beginning, but days after days I didn’t feel my daughter was happy, I didn’t feel teachers happy... so I decided to stop. We went to an other daycare and it’s just totally different... my daughter is happy she jumps into teacher arms, she is so happy, after the first week when I was talking about daycare she was going to her carseat and showing the door to go there. teachers are so concerned about her, they always tell me few words about how she was during the day... it’s just totally different...An advice if you want your kids to be exposed to emotion and care avoid this daycare... I don’t think teachers are bad there, I think the organization is bad...
Gupta Ji: Best daycare in north Van. Very clean and well managed. This daycare staff is friendly and makes sure that kids are always happy in here. I will highly recommend this daycare.
Strato Sphere: $150 to register and they dont reply emails nor promise any availability, it feels like they just try to get you on a hook. Stone age sales practicies.
