Bikram's Yoga College-India: what do users think?
Trang Tran
Trang Tran: Friendly employee😍 🏻reasonable price. appointment booking system is easy. Me and my co-workers really enjoyed this class. Regina is a young and enthusiastic teacher.
Sheldon UXO
Sheldon UXO: Awesome yoga here,
Chad Leaver
Chad Leaver: Let the sunshine in! Superb practice space - so glad I made it here on my latest visit to Van. This is something special! Whether you're local to the cool neibourhood vibe - or visiting, get on over to Yoga Commercial Drive. Ring the bell to enter - and enjoy the space. Mountain glimses, sunsets - and teachers with power and grace!
Magdalene Bunce
Magdalene Bunce: Super friendly staff that are welcoming and non-judgemental. I feel great after every class.
BANG
BANG: The greatest place to practice yogaAs well as many amazing servicesDefinitely 👍🏻 highly recommended
Ali Joy Cross
Ali Joy Cross: Amazing, welcoming tribe of yogis practicing ancient postures for longevity and healing.
Dr Sandziego
Dr Sandziego: This place truly is amazing!!I have practiced Bikram Yoga for 10+ years all over the world and at one time or another tried every studio in the lower mainland. I have just returned from a year abroad and love how the studio is constantly updating but the vibe is always the same. The instructors have always been on point, engaging and creative, never a dull moment in those classes. This studio really does do it right, it’s clean, calm, cool, collected. The staff, the owners and the community that practices at this studio are top notch. Thank you guys for giving us a place to breathe and be peaceful. Keep doing you ❤️
David Jardine
David Jardine: The owners of this place are insane. Threats and harassment are common place. Nothing has changed since they carried the Bikram name and finally dropped it. Just wait for the reply on this review.Avoid this place, its cultish attitudes and aggressive behavior. The opposite of yoga and meditative practices.Namaste
Elvira Yebes
Elvira Yebes: Bikrams Yoga Commercial Drive is my second home. The artistic murals on the stairs & walls make the studio a creative soulful space. The large windows in the hot studio allow light, sunshine and amazing sunrises to lift my spirit and my practice. The instructors truly care about the students and the yoga, not just the physical practice but also the mental and soulful aspects.I came to Bikrams Yoga through my acupuncturists recommendation for my shoulder injury. And, I came to the studio on Commercial Drive because it’s within walking distance in my neighbourhood. Best decision I ever made!Three years later my shoulder has made amazing recovery in range of motion. Physically, I’m in the best shape ever. Mentally I have more clarity, belief in my potential, and sense of purpose. Emotionally, I am stronger, more calm, and prepared to face inevitable obstacles. At this studio I have been fortunate to form friendships with like minded people. Coffee and conversation after class are the best!I am ever so grateful! A special thanks to Christian (leader & visionary for the yoga & the studio), for his continued support. And a special mention to Fador the canine mascot who sets the example of relaxed chill, and always makes me smile just by hanging out in the lobby.
Susanna Firley
Susanna Firley: Unusually aggressive front desk guy. I really wanted to love this place. After my experience, I would never go back or recommend this place. I hadn’t been to a yoga class since Covid started and was excited to find a regular space to practice again since the studio I went to closed down. I raced through traffic to make it there on time to find a locked door 8 minutes before scheduled class. I telephoned the number on the website to see how to get in and the guy who answered gruffly “hello.” told me that I had to buzz up, and that “most people figure it out”. He hung up on me (actually) and buzzed me in. I went up to the boot room to take my shoes off and he came out to me with other people around and said loudly that there was a buzzer, didn’t I see it, and again that most people figure it out. He looked angry (and “mean” which isn’t a term I’ve used since I was a kid). I felt so humiliated and kind of wondered why this guy was making a point to make me feel stupid and unwelcome. I don’t know if he was the owner or staff but he treated me like he didn’t want me there. Last time I checked businesses didn’t run on bad vibes. I could feel him staring at me as I checked in with the other front desk person. Horrible feeling. Despite a decent yoga class with a different teacher, I wouldn’t go again, and would probably recommend against it. Also it was expensive at $30 a drop in for a non-heated vinyasa class.
Kevin Shink
Kevin Shink: The class is hot and the 26 postures are the best. healing postures. It does take some time to get used to the heat but its worth getting used to it.. Being a man I kind of laughed at yoga but now I get it and would recommend it to anyone especially people with pain an injuries. Great mix of people. Thank you
Bryan Albert
Bryan Albert: Due to medical reasons, I am required to keep my phone (on silent) near me at all times in order for my medical devices to continue functioning. I called in to ask if I could attend classes with my phone not used/silent and just near me and was told that the no-phone policy still applied and that I would not be able to attend. Bit of a sad outcome considering the nice reviews here, but I think it’s important that others in a situation similar to mine are made aware.
Samantha Ramirez
Samantha Ramirez: You feel clear headed and ready to experience the day after this yoga session. They really need to fix the bugs on their app though.. took me 45 minutes to book 2 sessions. Wouldn't save my information, process my payment, and finally it did after typing in the same information over and over. Probably best to just call and book to avoid this headache.
Sheila Xie
Sheila Xie: This is my go-to Bikram/hot yoga studio in Vancouver. I like to go to different yoga studios when I travel. This yoga studio makes me feel like a second home whenever I visit Vancouver.I can't be happier to have found this truly authentic Bikram yoga studio. They still teach the original Bikram yoga series. Each class lasts 1.5 hrs. I appreciate the longer practice time so I can work on my postures.Teachers are amazingly experienced and inspring. These teachers are some of the best teachers I've had. I gain energy from fellow yoga practitioners as well as yoga teachers. I feel rejuvenated each time after I finish the class.Working through the 26 postures does require a lot of determinations. Through the hard work at the studio, I cultivate patience, perseverence, and self-compassion. I think the practice makes me more resillient and kind when dealing with the inevitable challenges in life.Overall, I like the relaxed and chill vibe at the studio. After my morning classes, I get to enjoy a lot of excellent vegan food in this neighbordhood (Sweet Cherubim, vegan pizza and curry across the street, and Lunch Lady which has excellent Vietamese pho and spring rolls).
Sanaz Rezaei Mortgage Team
Sanaz Rezaei Mortgage Team: I really love their facility and the instructors. Also, their business practice is very easygoing because you won’t lose your pass if you cancel last minute. I really enjoy their positive energy and environment. ❤️
Troy Tyrell
Troy Tyrell: I really liked it until the one instructor Flo had to comment on my health issues 2xs that she didn't like it and thought it was gross. Everyone else was supportive, but one bad apple....
Jonny Mauk
Jonny Mauk: The best place to practice i absolutely love the energy there!! So well thought out in every detail!!
m c
m c: Excellent 💚
julie lopez
julie lopez: I started going here in 2010 and have been a regular ever since. I enjoy the teachers and owners they know their stuff and are passionate . It is such a community there with the students and teachers. I was nervous my first time as I’m not a bendy flexible person, and still not! But I’ve had a herniated disc in 2004 and two broken bones in the past 5 years. This hot yoga has helped me immensely to not reinjure my back and helped with mobility of all my other joints too. I can really tell how my body is missing it during the pandemic, there is nothing like it!!A great little studio with windows , in a great area!!
Arianne Dickson
Arianne Dickson: This place makes me believe it is truly heaven on earth. Physically the studio is stunning, full of art, and perfectly heated with a beautiful coziness to it. What really makes the space exceptional is the energy. The teachers are encouraging, non judgmental and guide you to do what is right for your body while still practicing traditional Bikram yoga. Words cannot describe my gratitude for this space, and I thank them so much for having me.
Dominik Plempe
Dominik Plempe: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI really love coming to this place but haven't been in quite awhile due to low funds. I plan on returning real soon though as I really miss it and the amazing feeling I feel after class! Almost reborn!

Hot Yoga 101| Inferno Hot Pilates: what do users think?
Arvinder Hundal
Arvinder Hundal: I can't say enough good things about Hot Yoga 101! I've been going here for years and love each class I take. From the location, to the instructors, and diversity of classes offered, I love the studio! Whether you are a beginner or intermediate yogi, the classes will test your strength and flexibility each time. I always leave feeling happier, healthier, and wanting more.Highly recommend this studio!
Brendon Koenig
Brendon Koenig: If you’re looking for an amazing full body workout, look no further. The staff are all amazing, friendly, and empowering! Highly recommend!
Chan C
Chan C: Absolutely love this place! And from someone that absolutely hates physical activity, that says a lot. The best part is the staff and instructors - they are amazing. I have tried other yoga studios in the past and haven't been committed to them because the instructors always had a cold or very neutral demeanor but it's the complete opposite at Hot Yoga 101. They are SO sweet. Always taking the time to talk to everyone, give them tips and tricks, ask for feedback and answer our random questions. The activity is never enough for me to commit, it's definitely the service and demeanor of the staff that makes me want to go back - the staff here have nailed this. The actual pilates classes are great as well. I see the difference it's making and sleep like a baby too! A special thank you to Stefanie, Jen, Wade and the front desk staff for being the absolute best 3
Tempo S
Tempo S: Hadn’t been here in 5(?) years. Came back specifically because Stefanie T is still teaching, and she’s amazing!
Audrey T
Audrey T: What a lovely hot yoga spot! I went to try a Hot HIIT class and really enjoyed it and got a good sweat. For class, you will need a mat, towel for your mat and water bottle. They recommend arriving 10 minutes before class, as doors are locked once class starts, and no late entries are permitted. The studio is inside City Square Mall on the ground floor beside the food court. There is underground parking. Bring your ticket up to the studio to get 2.5 hours free parking. However it’s also very accessible by transit. They have a spacious locker room (you need a quarter for the locker) and showers as well (bring your own products and towel). The instructor Ken was great and there was a good variety of movements.
Fernanda Psychotherapy
Fernanda Psychotherapy: This is the original hot yoga in town and I couldn’t be more grateful for what their work has done for myself and for so many of my clients! 😉
Danielle Bradley
Danielle Bradley: I do a lot of activities, and the Inferno Hot Pilates is one of my favorites! I am a runner, and have noticed that this class has kept me injury-free since I have started taking it regularly about a year and a half ago. I would highly recommend taking this class at Hot Yoga 101. Their yoga classes are amazing too!
Joy Yiu
Joy Yiu: I've been going to Hot Yoga 101 for many years now. The people who work the front desk as well as the instructors are so friendly. I always look forward to my classes. Highly recommend! ★★★★★
James Heras
James Heras: I love hot yoga. It makes me feel younger and amazing. The older I get, the more I need this. And I've seen lots of people transform through regular practice. The staff are also incredible. Try it out!
Craig Jorgensen
Craig Jorgensen: Very accessible, welcoming and supportive environment if you are interested in trying Yoga. I've gone from never having stepped into a Yoga studio in my life and being completely inflexible to building up to having a regular practice with my body so much more limber. All the teachers are a joy to practice under with a focus on seeing each student for who they are and where there body is and providing useful guidance on how to improve one's condition.
Razzel Dee Parman
Razzel Dee Parman: I love this place and the instructors are really nice. I love how they remember names and try to put me beside my friends when they come along. Every class is super fun! I would go everyday if I could! Also great way get stronger and lose weight fast.
Francesca Turner
Francesca Turner: Hi all, I’m writing to let you know that Hot Yoga 101 has been such a great place for me. Not only are all the staff on the front desk and all the teachers incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and a joy to be with, the classes have been amazing in getting me back to a fitness level, which includes flexibility, balance, core strength and cardio, reminding me of my former competitive days in sport. It also helps me maintain good control of my weight and with the high heat, detoxification naturally makes my skin look and feel better. I’m 62 however, I would recommend these classes for all ages, levels, shapes and sizes. It’s hard work but it pays off! 🙂
Curtis Aloisio
Curtis Aloisio: The owners, staff and teachers are always very friendly and the room is the true hot yoga that I am looking for when doing this series. Highly recommend.
C T
C T: I have been to many studios (yoga and other fitness) across Vancouver and this studio has by far the nicest and most welcoming staff and teachers. The studio is super clean and the room is lovely and hot! A guaranteed sweat and a refreshing (clean!) shower after! The hot Pilates class is fun and an amazing workout. If you haven’t checked out this studio… go for it!
Bonita Chan
Bonita Chan: My second home! Since I've joined, I've felt stronger, happier, and healthier. Every single staff has a way to make you feel welcomed and supported. I feel so fortunate to get to practice with this wonderful community. I also feel empowered to maintain my practice on a regular basis.Highly recommend. This is hands down the best studio I've ever been to.
Jacqueline Chang
Jacqueline Chang: Fridendly, wonderful workout
Mary Chang
Mary Chang: This style of yoga has been on my fitness bucket list for a few years, so I signed up for a 10-class pass to check it out. Whenever I'm at a hot yoga class, I'm completely immersed in the breathing exercises and movement of my body parts. I love the heat, the poses, the structure and instruction. The manager and staff are friendly and welcoming. Danny is an awesome, encouraging instructor and will gently guide the students if they need help with any of the poses. Danny's right, hot yoga heals the body and keeps the joints healthy. My flexibility improves with each practice and I feel a certain sense of healing and recovery in my mind and body knowing that I took this time to invest in my self-care.By the end of each session, I'm covered in sweat from head to toe, feeling vibrant, and happy that I showed up for class. My anxiety and stress has been washed away and after a refreshing shower, I walk out of the studio with a big smile on my face.I tried one Pilates class was an intense core and butt workout which I thoroughly enjoyed. I loved the cool, damp eucalyptus-scented face cloth that is given to each participant at the end of the session...wow-a refreshing way to end the workout!Thank you Hot Yoga 101 for a great experience!
Jack Perry
Jack Perry: Best place for hot yoga in the city. Studio is clean, showers & changing rooms clean, all the staff are great & very accommodating to all skill levels. Highly recommend this studio if you are looking for some realignment & a good deep stretch!
Lindsey Heagy
Lindsey Heagy: I so highly recommend Hot Yoga 101 and the team of instructors and staff! I have been attending classes for over 5 years now, and it continues to have such a positive impact on my overall health. To spend 1 hour and feel the effects of building strength, cardio, flexibility, and control is very rewarding. In terms of logistics: The studio is clean with good mirrors and heat (and none of that carpet nonsense!). If you drive, you can validate your parking, so it is free for your class. It is also easy to access by transit being close to the 99 stop and the Cambie SkyTrain Station. And I can't say enough about the team of instructors and staff -- I am inspired every time I show up!
Zane Bouvette
Zane Bouvette: I have been attending classes at hot yoga 101 for seven years. the studio, reception area and change rooms are always clean and bright. All the staff and teachers are friendly and helpful. It has become a key part of my health and wellness both physically and mentally. I enjoy it very much. To all the hot yoga 101 team, a sincere thank you. Zane Bouvette
Elizabeth Elliott
Elizabeth Elliott: I’ve been a student at Hot Yoga 101 for over 10 years, and I can honestly say that it has changed my life. When I’m stressed, I go to yoga 101, when I’m down, 101, when I’m full of energy, I go to this class and even when I don’t want to go…I go because everything in my life is better when I get in the studio. The teachers and front desk staff are wonderful, and the facilities are clean and inviting. Since I’ve begun my practice, I have gained strength and confidence, lost weight, sleep better, deal with stress more effectively and generally function in a more balanced way in my day to day life. It’s tough at first, but sticking with this practice has been the best thing I have ever done for myself. Literally a life saver on a weekly basis! Try this class, then try it over and over until you can’t live without it! Thank you Hot Yoga 101!!!

Modo Yoga East Vancouver: what do users think?
Simon Cheng
Simon Cheng: Great friendly staff and instructors. The change room/shower stalls are plenty and spacious. I attended the karma class and there was no music, unlike the original moksha yoga style. Nonetheless I will be back for more practice. Thank you for the great venue.
Chloe Sullivan
Chloe Sullivan: I went here on a Sunday, first time going to a hot yoga class in Vancouver, so I didn't have a mat and wasn't very prepared. The staff were so friendly and understanding! The instructor in the class was great and not only did I feel like I got a good workout/stretch but also very calm. A great end to my weekend.
H B
H B: I had a beautiful Sunday afternoon at a soundbath workshop. This is a beautiful location with lots of plants and natural elements
Matt Coombe
Matt Coombe: My favourite studio downtown! Friendly staff, awesome location, great space, and phenomenal atmosphere when the room's full & everyone's breathing - I love it!
Michael Cacho
Michael Cacho: Melissa was an amazing instructor and made the class fun. However, Modo crams 40 students into a medium size room that you are side by side with less than 6 inches between you and another mat or wall. It feels like a middle seat on a 737 long haul flight. I would recommend they increase their price by $1-$2 per class but cut the capacity to allow more space and a better experience without impacting their revenue. I am unlikely renew my starter pass.
Lana Lepper
Lana Lepper: I absolutely love modo yoga. We moved to this neighborhood seven years ago, because this studio was here. We have loved being a part of the community and have enjoyed watching it flourish and thrive. I highly recommend!

Everyone that works there is kind and open to conversation. It is a great place to start or end your day. The bathrooms are well kept it is neat and organized. The booking system is quite easy.

Ashley Campbell
Ashley Campbell: I’ve been coming to this studio since I moved to Vancouver last year and have been in love ever since. The staff at this studio are super friendly and welcoming, the yoga is high quality, and during these unprecedented times the staff have done an exceptional job of enforcing and respecting social distancing and cleanliness. This space has become my home yoga studio!
Yun Liu
Yun Liu: My favorite yoga place in Vancouver! Love all the instructors, they are very knowledgeable and helpful! They always ask you to go with how your body feels. So if you are new to yoga or hot yoga, this is a good place to start! I have been to this studio for almost half an year now, and it has significantly improved my life both mentally and physically.

Jacqueline Mayne
Jacqueline Mayne: Absolutely love this place. The studio is always really clean, the instructors are friendly and knowledgeable, and there are lots different types of classes throughout the day to suit pretty much any schedule. They offer drop in, punch card, or monthly passes.
Lisa Letostak
Lisa Letostak: They were really nice when I ran late for class, but the room for a yin class was still really hot from hot yoga, so I left. I was going to go out after class & wouldn’t have been sweaty afterward, but now I am after being in the room for 2 minutes & I didn’t get to do the class I wanted & I’m out $20.
David
David: Great instructors and staff. Chill vibe. Community-focused organization

Oxygen Yoga & Fitness Yaletown: what do users think?
Ghazal
Ghazal: Oxygen Yaletown is the second Oxygen studio that I’ve been to and it turned out to be better that the first one (Surrey Center studio). They are located at Richards and Smithe. The girl at the front desk was nice and helpful. The washroom, showers, and lockers are located in the fitting room. The lockers have locks on them already so you don’t need to bring one.I went to the HIIT and Sculpt class and was happy with both the class and the instructor, Carlos. The room was really packed though. There were at most 10 inches of space between the mats and that made some of the movements very hard. The room is heated so make sure to hydrate we’ll be the class and bring water with you.Overall, other than the number of people in the class, I was happy with the experience.
Nitin Goyal
Nitin Goyal: Rude receptionist! Other Oxygen Yoga places are way better, do not waste your money here.
Aaron Ottho
Aaron Ottho: Great instructors who are clear in instructions. Always a good workout. Bring your water bottle.
Keisha Gratton
Keisha Gratton: The customer service skill at this location is highly lacking compared to the other locations I have been to. It takes over a week to get a response via email and that's only after repeatedly following up and asking for a response. Accidentally signed up at this location instead of the one in my neighborhood and even though I did not attend a single class they still refused to give me a refund for the first month. For a place that is claiming to uphold such positive values this is beyond disappointing and greedy.
Katherine Cornelius
Katherine Cornelius: I am so grateful for the staff and other members of the studio. This morning after class my vehicle was broken into and everyone was so kind and helpful. My apologies for not getting her name, but the woman working the front desk was SO HELPFUL.Not only are the people amazing… the classes are great too.
Amandeep Gill
Amandeep Gill: Very friendly staff. janissa did an awesome job running the class, great work out. Highly recommended visiting this studio.
Adrián Ramírez Romero
Adrián Ramírez Romero: Lovely place and instructors, definitely your place to go if you're downtown and want to relax and spoil your soul and body.
Maria Cruz Hernández Arroyo
Maria Cruz Hernández Arroyo: For the price you paid they should limit the amount of people in the studio. The room is way to small to fit us all plus all our belongings now that the change rooms are closed. The classes and teachers are great but the yoga mats are spaced literally 10 cm. It is really hard to focus on the exercises when you are all the time trying not to hit anyone close to you. Also, even if we are all vaccinated, it doesn't feel safe to be in a heated room with no social distance at all. Hope they reconsider the number of reasonable spots that room actually fits.
Emily Phillips
Emily Phillips: I LOVE businesses that promote vaccine passports! It makes me feel safer knowing those around me in a smaller confined INDOOR area are also taking precautions to avoid getting sick. Thank you!!! Looking forward to joining your fitness studio soon
S LD
S LD: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality
Caroline Cavalcante
Caroline Cavalcante: Will never support a business that promote vaccine passports and segregation of our society. Shame on you all. Not healthy practice at all. What will you do and who will you blame when these vaccines keep continuing the transmission between the ones that comply??
Shayna Populos
Shayna Populos: Positive:Communication
Maggie Sung
Maggie Sung: Clean studio, great classes and high quality instructors
Ivan Lys
Ivan Lys: Critical:CommunicationThey Don't reply to emails. I'm sure the studio is good but having basic questions answered is not possible. Not professional.
Grace S
Grace S: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Qualityrevised review: They found the issue, reverted unauthorized payments for me and apologized, very rarely for gyms/fitness studios these days. Fitness classes are awesome and hope to come back after pandemic is over.
Ron Stevens
Ron Stevens: Local fitness studios are tough businesses to run, especially now but so useful and valuable to a community! At least until Amazon figures out a way to destroy that business too.Since the return and new distancing protocols are in place that limits classes to 15 people, this studio manager did a good job of navigating through the issues and got much better as a result. The new changes only improved the overall experience and even without changeroom usage, it's just better! The teachers did a great job with the online classes and are even better now in live classes. The front reception and management are all very good, patient and pleasant.Suggestions.Offer some new quiet classes without music or classes with no loud music, only calming music that appeals to everyone.
Tara Williams -she, her - Vancity
Tara Williams -she, her - Vancity: The trainers at Oxygen Yaletown are amazing! So energetic and leave me in puddles on the floor by the time I’m finished one of their workouts! ❤️🙏
Heather Valentino
Heather Valentino: Visiting from Toronto and had a great time at the fast and furious class this morning!! Thank you for being so welcoming!!
Jen Han
Jen Han: One of the yoga instructor that I don't know if she usually practices yoga for her self. The class was mess. She explained the gesture only with words, so the students were busy seeing other people's movements. In the middle, the teacher finally did some moves, but he could hardly do them. I doubt if she really enjoys yoga and does her own training to share good energy with us.
A Kaushik
A Kaushik: Very rude staff. I have been trying to call these girls to book something and every time I call I get rude unhelpful replies. Since we get corporate discount hence I was trying to call them to see that may be today my luck may shine and someone will reply in a positive helpful way but No. they r really rude and when u ask them name so that you could take the matter to the manager they hang up on you.If this is how they treat initially I wonder how they would treat after taking money.
Geoffrey Scoates
Geoffrey Scoates: Great studio, the teachers are fantastic and the people are the front are friendly (special shout of to Kat and Larissa) and very helpful. Make sure you read the description of the classes before hand because some of the classes can be very different from each other, but they're all good.

VNYSA Yoga Studio: what do users think?
Daisy Zhang
Daisy Zhang: Went from 0 yoga experience to being comfortable practicing on my own in 3 months here.
Arica Z
Arica Z: This is my very first in-person yoga class after 3 years. It was a good practice in a welcoming and clean space for a mere 23 bucks, no contract, no solicitation. The Vnysa App is super easy. You have the freedom to re-schedule 3 hours prior to the class start time. Compare to other facilities I go to, this is in fact a generous policy so I have to say I cannot agree with the negative comments about lateness/locked door. I arrive 20 mins prior to pick a spot, settle in, warm up, chat with the friendly instructor, etc. Rushing in at the last minute and disrupt your fellow yogi is not a good way to take advantage of the practice and the zen space.Yoga is about harmony and love. The studio has a policy for the common good of all, and it is up to each and one of us to make it work. Namasta.
Alysia Duemler
Alysia Duemler: This is a great yoga studio. The staff are warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. The quality of the yoga is very high. The space is beautiful; very nice and modern facilities and even some cool art. I especially love the rooftop series with the fresh air and beautiful views and only wish they would go from about June 1st until about October 1st rather than cutting off closer to September 1 (but I bet they’ll take my suggestion because they are very open to feedback and genuinely care). :) There is a wide variety of types of yoga and focuses of classes available. The online system is super easy and convenient. The pricing is overall affordable and they offer discounts for students, which helps. Definitely recommended! Whatever your goal for a yoga practice, you’ll be sure to meet it if you come regularly to VNYSA.
Daphne Penstock
Daphne Penstock: I am new to here, three weeks and already I feel much stronger and energized. The classes are challenging, the studio is open and clean, The location and access are convenient. VYNSA and its teachers are inspiring and professional.I have practiced yoga for years, my previous studio fell victim to COVID. I am grateful I am no longer a victim of post COVID thinking that online yoga is great!
Ross Crooke
Ross Crooke: Love this studio, and instructors are awesome!
Cecilia Xie
Cecilia Xie: I have been in the wesbrook community for six years now and I've heard (and experienced) only great things about the studio! Highly highly recommend💪❤️
Stephanie Gerbec
Stephanie Gerbec: I really love this studio. The classes are fun and challenging, and the instructors are creative and knowledgeable. I really struggle with their late policy, though. I work full-time and have two little kids at home, and I so look forward to the 1 or 2 times per week I can have an hour-long yoga retreat all to myself. Because I am imperfect at time management, and often have to rely on the bus, I have been late for class, twice, by less than 5 minutes. This means standing outside the locked studio doors with no answer and late charges added to your account. I'm sure they have legitimate reasons for this, possibly some combination of staffing, Covid protocols, and/or not wanting any disruptions once class starts. I totally get that. It's just so disheartening to feel like you were "shamed" out of your yoga class after you tried so hard to get there. Again, I can appreciate why they might have these policies in place. I just wish they could find a way to show a little more compassion for their fellow yogi who is trying to catch a break after working so hard every other moment of the week.
Kristina Khersonski
Kristina Khersonski: Good yoga studio, good instructors but be careful, if you miss exact time the doors will be closed. Pay attantion that if you registered online the payment is not refundable , so make sure you are coming on the sesssion you are registered and in time.
Alicia T
Alicia T: Positive:Professionalism
Nichole Boufford
Nichole Boufford: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityGreat yoga studio! The studio is a beautiful space and the heated room is lovely but it’s really the people that make this a great place. The teachers and students are amazing and kind. Such positive energy, I always love coming here.
Vannia Flores Forsyth
Vannia Flores Forsyth: Nothing compares to the feeling after a truly intentional practice in this studio. So grateful this place and all the people in it exists.
Need To Know Info
Need To Know Info: Back up to Amanda Price's review, but without allowing the owner to put full names on their response and offer some free classes to make up for it. Owner closed down their studio in Kelowna overnight, taking all members money without so much as a word. A lot of businesses have struggled during COVID, but to ask members to support and then disappear without a care to the community is the opposite of yoga and what it represents. If yoga and mind and body mean something to you - look for authentic genuine studios that prove they are about connecting, not money. Literally look anywhere else.
Hannah Blake
Hannah Blake: Positive:Professionalism,QualityI have recently added my yoga practice to my life and love the space and classes here!

Stella Behringer: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality12/10 This is the cleanest, finest and most exceptional experience I have ever had at a yoga studio hands down. The Vancouver location is absolutely gorgeous and their online digital platform is 12/10. Can't wait to do their 200hr YTT too!

Oxygen Yoga and Fitness-West End: what do users think?
Scott W
Scott W: We are big fans of this Oxygen location. The only problem is that it's criminally underutilized post-Covid. You have some absolute rockstar instructors like Francarlos, Kristina, Carla, Maya just to namedrop a few, who all deserve to have jam packed classes. If you want a unique way to put down a fitness base in the West End, this is your spot. Ownership cares, is communicative and accepts feedback graciously and openly.Quick story: I showed up here a few years ago with a destroyed lower back, cancer and extra weight that was dragging me down with no viable way to lose it. With a combination of yoga and core fitness classes, I'm stronger and fitter than I've been in years, my back is so good that I can run and move without pain for the longest stretch in almost 9 years and my health is steady. One very large contributor to this is the team and facilities at Oxygen Yoga West End. You deserve better than 4 stars here on Google, keep doing what you're doing.
Asher
Asher: Good classes but please open the doors so people can go change and don’t rush into class in 5 minutes..
A&D Critical
A&D Critical: More of a 2.5 star review. Some classes are excellent, don't get me wrong. Some of the instructors are fantastic. Other instructors go over the class time and don't care about other people's time. What bothers me most about this studio is the cleanliness. I have a hard time believing they clean each piece of sweat-drenched equipment in between classes, especially when the workout bands are all just tossed in a basket. A diffuser could go a long way as well. The heat can be great, but for me I think that the heat makes the workout feel harder than it is, and after I started going to a regular gym I noticed far more improvement than I did in these classes. Not to mention it is of course overpriced as well.Great for some people, but not for me!
Bean Macbean
Bean Macbean: Love the staff here- so friendly and really do try and help you out when and however they can! It is expensive, but if you use it often enough and sign up during one of their offers, it is more than reasonable! The instructors are incredible! When I attend classes, I am not all that friendly, I am just looking to work out, but there is a really nice and warm community atmosphere that I enjoy in the space! The only downsize is that it is small, classes can get booked up and the timings are not always that ideal for me, although I tended to always find something to do with my free time.
Jessica Richmond
Jessica Richmond: Having visited for the first time, 3 times this week on a 7 day trial, I have to say every class, teacher and workout have been truly incredible! I’ve been training various different styles of exercise for about 12 years now, this is the best all round circuit/HIIT/full body/toning/conditioning/fat burning/motivational place I have been to for a VERY long time. Classes are full (understandably) but not rammed. Couldn’t be happier that I’ve found you, and I’ll be sticking around for sure! Thank you for offering such fantastic classes with such a range of talented teachers 🙌🏻
daina bader
daina bader: I spend most of my evenings here attending their fitness classes and love every second of it! They have a variety of different teachers and classes to suit everyone's interests.
Natasha Narayan
Natasha Narayan: I have been going to classes here consistently over the last 6 months and have been really impressed with the quality of the instructors. It's a great neighbourhood yoga/fitness studio that is clearly well managed and I hope they stay around for a long time.
Bryson Young
Bryson Young: Overall, not that much different than any of the other corporate yoga studios in this city, where the whole phony, leotard-wrapped package of “namaste” culture is merely a “fake af” cover for a business model that is faceless, opportunistic, deeply unfriendly to its own membership and clearly devoted only to the bottom line - but still disappointing and shabby. The initial experience was, showing up for class 20 minutes before (“Late comers will not be admitted!”) which meant being made to stand outside in the freezing winter rain in shorts and tank top, while the front desk person scowled at you from behind the window, refusing to answer inquiries as to why we couldn’t wait in the lobby - “It’s our policy here. It’s safety issues. The lobby is being cleaned” (the lobby was not cleaned). Emerging from a class sweaty and uncomfortable to find the showers STILL inoperative, STILL out of bounds; and when asking, as a paying member why this is? You can guess the reply - “It’s safety issues. We don’t know when showers will be available again.” Instruction competent, but just as corporate and devoid of any authentic engagement with the class as the front desk welcome might lead one to expect. But then, just try canceling your membership. Weeks of unanswered phone messages, no means of executing it on the website, of course; the rare moment you find someone actually there at the door, your inquires are met with looks of indignant dismissal and irritation at the obvious microaggression of someone demanding actual answers to actual questions. “Someone will get back to you”; door shuts in your face. No one gets back to you. Meanwhile, they’re still taking your money. After eventually resorting to direct threats of stopping payments oneself, you get an email protesting that this unbelievably poor customer service is simply the way things are done here - “because of the high volume of emails received we aren’t able to respond to everyone in the most timely fashion”. Uh huh - but you’ll still take my fifty buck biweekly. My advice? Just find a small studio, non-corporate, where there’s less phony “yoga love” and instead alittle basic respect and at least an attempt at customer service and care.
Mike M
Mike M: I Ike the studio, it is clean and nice. The classes are the best, book with Dolores or Anastasia.
Adam
Adam: Lovely studio and great teachers!
Nicole A
Nicole A: Nice studio, a little small but staff and instructors are very friendly. Super comfortable padded floor too.
Maya Grant
Maya Grant: A clean, welcoming, studio adhering to all the current safety protocols. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful and the teachers are some of the best in Vancouver. The whole space is a haven to get away from every day stress/anxiety!
Brainy Bungler
Brainy Bungler: Why didn't I go sooner. The infrared heat is cozy-warm and very good distancing protocols.
Tammy Trice
Tammy Trice: Great, welcoming, clean studio in the heart of the West End. Accessible for all levels and a wonderful mix of class offerings (yoga, fusion, and strength). Rebecca, Olya and Molly are some of my faves :) Their COVID safety protocols make me feel very comfortable too. Book a class! You won't be sorry.
Vlad
Vlad: Great place for hot yoga.Clean and organized place with some awesome instructors.Shout out to Neil and Rebecca!
Haley M
Haley M: My favorite infrared yoga studio! From the owner Teena (she is the sweetest) to the studio instructors Molly, Francarlos, Faye they are all really great and always mix up the high intensity workouts with great music.I love the mix of doing yoga to great upbeat killer workouts.Really missing you guys during Covid!!!
Aini Bhatti
Aini Bhatti: I really enjoy the instructors and space. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I signed up for a years membership and can't wait to go back!
Brittany Laven
Brittany Laven: There was a flood and they did not let new comers from classpass know that the classes would not be heated. When I reached out to ask for an opportunity to try a class in the hot room I was rejected. Poor customer service. I would recommend going to a different Oxygen instead!
Kieran Dhaliwal
Kieran Dhaliwal: This is an absolutely awesome yoga and fitness studio. I started over 6 months ago and since then there has been a change of ownership which has transformed the service and faculties 10 fold. The new owner, Tina, is a star, remembering everyone’s name, added new equipment racks, improved studio organization, and added perks like snacks and drinks for reasonable purchases. The teachers are also awesome - never been to a class of one I don’t love. The yoga classes are for all levels - they offer great modifications if you are new or experienced. The fitness classes will beat you @$$ in a great way and you’ll have fun doing it. They’re also expanding and offering more classic hot yoga classes which is awesome since I did miss that from my old studio. They have everything which makes the money totally worth it. You get real variety, great teachers, and an owner who loves what she does (and it shows!). Without hesitation I recommend Oxygen west end and am excited to continue my practice there!
Karl
Karl: Today is my two month anniversary since joining Oxygen in the West End, and all I can say is wow!!Since my first hot yoga class to my HIIT class today, to exploring Kundilini to deep stretch and relaxation, Oxygen is the cat's meow.Everyone is super friendly, the owners are open to comments and suggestions, and all the instructors are top of their game.If you are looking to get fit, lose weight and meet new people who are awesome, check out Oxygen on Haro and Denman. Thanks to all who work there. You've helped me grow in ways you cannot imagine.Namaste 😍
Nastya Solo
Nastya Solo: Love it!! ❣️Amazing studio!! Great instructors!! So clean & bright!! Everybody super friendly! ❣️ My favourite yoga & fitnes place in Vancouver!!🙌

Oxygen Yoga and Fitness - Kitsilano: what do users think?
Melody Wong
Melody Wong: I’m shocked by learning that this studio has not paid its instructors for months, despite of members continuously paying their fees.If you have a membership here, please consider ending it and going elsewhere, anywhere really, that prioritizes paying their employees for work performed instead of taking advantage of their status as independent contractors and therefore not protected under the Employment Standards Act of BC.
Taylor Moffat
Taylor Moffat: Nice and clean, great instructors and love the new management. Everyone is extremely friendly and overall a great place!
Jacquoline Martin
Jacquoline Martin: Fun fact: Oxygen Yoga Kitsilano does not pay it's yoga instructors. When they try to advocate for themselves, the owner seems to have a hard time listening.Don't waste your money on a space that does not value it's employees, it's passions or what they have to offer. #trash
Dane Cam
Dane Cam: Owners are very rude if it ain’t white it ain’t right
Golshan Nazari
Golshan Nazari: I’m so disappointed as I got the membership with this studio and I got injured badly in my first session! My physiotherapist recommended me to stop my activities due to my situation and he gave me a note to provide to Oxygen yoga but they don’t accept to cancel my membership and refund the money and all they want to do is putting my membership on hold! I got injured in your studio and I’m very disappointed as it might takes me a long time to be able to go back to my previous activities! you have to consider an exception in this situation as it is due to my health problem! Do you understand this? They don’t have a good customer service at all in this situation!
Sandrine Théberge
Sandrine Théberge: 5 stars all around! Great instructors, great culture, very clean studio!!
Dr. Jaipaul Parmar
Dr. Jaipaul Parmar: Nice and clean neighbourhood studio with therapeutic classes.
Jill Sharpe
Jill Sharpe: This place is more than just a studio it’s a community. They offer a wide range of classes with amazing instructors that constantly are tailoring the classes for the students . Thank you - Sarah F , Melanie , Katherine , Hadis , Kinga , Ashley and others I forget to mention for always inspiring and pushing me for the better version of myself .Shay is amazing at front desk always going the extra mile and of course the owners Christina and Devon.Come try the studio out !
C M
C M: I was so impressed with Johnny' class...inclusive, positive, self-care vibe with deep yoga stretch. I take a lot of yoga classes elsewhere in Vancouver...and that is one the best classes I've had in a while. I enjoy the warm studio and soft floors.
Katya Klimenko
Katya Klimenko: I really liked friendly staff, but we were close to the heaters in the room and when one of the poses was to stretch arms above the head -my friend reached the heater and burnt her finger! I was dark in the room and we did not see heaters, and second - they should be isolated so no one would be injured in case of contact. Please fix it
natasha C
natasha C: i love the oxygen studios great variety of classes and competitive pricing (although pricing is going up and will soon match yyoga as there becoming more popular ) the north shore one is better run than kits location ..when the owners not there its young gossipy girls that run it.Holly in particular can bully some of the students and customers and the gossip ive heard in changing room is well is not for the yoga studio .
D Lama
D Lama: i love this studio love the variety of classes cardio strength and stretching in one membershipbut some of the teachers could be a little more mindful in there speechgossiping is a form of bullying and has no place in yogasave that for when you leave the studio "Holly " and start to LOVE YOUR LIFE !!
Hayley McLennan
Hayley McLennan: Such an amazing studio with great instructors and staff! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and the classes are unreal. I would highly recommend this studio!
Lisa Jordan
Lisa Jordan: Kristin's classes rock! She's awesome!
Sarah Little
Sarah Little: tried my first class here and it was well led and I appreciated that it was not over crowded in there. It was a bit unclear how to clean the props, but I think I figured it out. Crowded cubby area, but a nice studio and all staff interactions were lovely. Look forward to returning!
Sharon S.
Sharon S.: Love the friendly energetic staff. The instructors are knowledgeable, helpful and caring. The music is good, makes me want to work out harder. I love the heat and can step out of the class if I need to. Definitely recommend this studio
Jeremy Arnal
Jeremy Arnal: The owner is an amazing instructor with a beautiful voice
Kayla Smith
Kayla Smith: Cuz Holly's class on Thursday nights are dope AFSo much fun
N K
N K: Super clean & friendly staff
Yunyi Shi
Yunyi Shi: Very comfortable atmosphere and good pricing. I like the app to book/cancel my practice schedule, it is very convenient and it can connect with my cell phone calendar. One week trail package is very useful. I’ll definitely continue with membership after one week. Recommend this Yoga studio to you all!
Danielle Dufall
Danielle Dufall: Infrared Hot Yoga Studio - I would recommend this studio. My Favorite class is the Hot Yoga Stretch and relaxation class - I wish it went a little bit longer! (1.5 hours!) They do have other fast fusion classes which I have tried and also really enjoyed!
