Granville Island Hotel: what do users think?
Marjorie Michele Stobie: Situated on a lovely island, lots if shops and places to eat, things to do. Pricey but you don't need to go anywhere else if you don't want to.Nearby activities: Little theatre, boutiques and historical places. Easy access to water ferry.
Sharon Chatenay: If you bring your kids, a dog or both, this is the place to be!We came for business at the Vancouver General Hospital, only a 20 minute seaside walk away.I've stayed in downtown Vancouver many times with all the noise and bustle, and lack of greenspace. No such thing here. So convenient with Kitslano and its dog beach only 2 km away, walking oceanside to literally everywhere.Charleson Dog Park is also nearby with an Oceanview! Beautiful grassy areas with lit pathways right out the hotel doors , also a playground for the kids. The hotel staff and restaurant servers were attentive and very approachable. Rooms were well appointed, comfy beds and had a view of the ocean. There was a nice business center on our floor, also a bonus if you're working away from home.Parking was a breeze with surface self parking at 20 bucks a day. Access to the other side of Vancouver across the creek is easy with the shuttles and aquabuses everywhere. Want to paddleboard, kayak, sail, or rent a boat or go whale watching? It's all here. Bring your bike or use bikeshare to ride the amazing seawall that connects Kitsilano , Granville to Stanley Park and beyond. This is the only place we will stay at for future trips. What a gem!Rooms: Nice, clean and comfy. Not huge but adequate Some have small balconies . There's a hottub, ex room and sauna on the 3rd floorNearby activities: Everything!!!Safety: Accessibility may be a challenge for wheelchair users Check before you go . I saw people using walkers and such, but there is uneven surfaces throughout the area, old rail car tracksWalkability: Very walkableFood & drinks: Delicious food at Bridges Tap and Grill Seafood is the best here

Posy Beach: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. Walking distance to everything on Granville Island! Would stay again!Rooms: CleanWalkability: Could get anywhere from the hotel and staff were great at giving directions

Best Western Plus Sands: what do users think?
Anna Marie Witthohn: I was in love with this hotel !! It’s right next to the beach, it has some really fun interior design, and the service was above and beyond truly. They seriously had someone standing by the front door who opened the door for me every time I came out or in. Talk about being made to feel like a guest! The whole time they were just so accommodating and nice and helpful. They gym was small, but also, it’s a 3 minute walk from the beach so why wouldn’t you just go running there ?? That’s what I did. The sauna was incredible tho. I really loved it here 5 stars y’all rock !
Eryn (eryngobragh): In a great location! The Davie Village is fantastic and the hotel is in a nice central location to Stanley Park and the beach. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the pub in the hotel had good food. Will definitely stay here againRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Roger S: The pub food is absolutely disgusting - this used to be decent place, yet they've gone completely down hill. Had lunch today and our Asian waitress with limited English could only point at menu items, respond with 'ok' and smile. Our burgers where beyond gross....thick dry "beef" patty, wilted lettuce, old hard bacon served with large cut greasy fries. No effort, care or attention - perhaps the dishwasher made it due to being short staffed?? Upon entering the hotel lobby, we saw a male staff member with a grocery bag filled with provisions scurrying towards the kitchen - how tacky! I guess they expect their customers to be drunk in order to eat the garbage they shovel out??? Very, very disappointing as a Westend local of 30 years to experience the deteriation of what was once upon a time, a great place to eat when they actually took pride in their food quality. Will not return or recommend going forward.
Paul E.: A perfect hotel to stay at in downtown Vancouver. The room was spacious, decorated very tastefully and the bed was incredible. To top it off the staff is friendly and willing to help out with requests. If I'm back in Vancouver I know where I'm staying!Rooms: The room was quite large and comfortable. The microwave and refrigerator were very handy to have. The shower was wonderful and the bed was just right for a restful night.Walkability: You're very close to restaurants, grocery and drug stores in case you need anything. The proximity to English Bay is excellent.Food & drinks: The restaurant and bar attached to the hotel is very convenient. It's a popular spot!
B. Melchin: The hotel had nice rooms, good service. It's right by the beach, tons to see and do. But it is Vancouver, you'll meet some interesting people right there just outside the lobby.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
AmbrosiusMD: I don’t have much experience with high-end hotels for reference here, but I really enjoyed my stay.
Christian Pascual: Old and dirty. The night clerk that checked us in was rude and dismissive. Only positives were the convenient location and numerous taxis nearby.
Saeed Mohajeri: Old & dusty feeling (specially in public areas), always too crowded, expensive, small parking. AC was noisy but didn’t really cool down the room.
kikinit 1234: Rooms were outdated, horrible view from our room. We booked a king bed, ended up with 2 doubles.Location was killer, right in the middle of everything, walking distance to restaurants, beachs, parks, grocery stores, pubs, etc. Busy little area, but lots to do.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5 …More
corinne Johnson: Clean, comfortable room. The Park Pub on site has decent food. The parking lot is not very big and difficult to use if you have a larger vehicle.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Dan McCrossen: Perfect location, but this hotel needs some serious attention. The rooms are decent, but the exterior looks pretty run-, down. Stay was very nice, but I left my Firestick in the room (you can't connect it), then called to see if they found it and they said "no", meaning they DID find it and someone kept it. Not cool.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Edwina Caparelli: The only reason I didn't give the room a five stars was because we were over the bar, but we knew we were going to be. I'm a cleaner and I found the rooms to be very clean. I inspected it like I would inspect the cleaners at my job, they took the time to dust in places that normally you would not check. The hotel staff was super kind. There was a programming error with my card key but I think the onsite manager or maintenance person was super helpful. The bar downstairs was a gem--such good food. Waiter took our order without taking any notes and got it spot-on. The food was so good and the price even better. The location is perfect because it's right on English Bay; you have so so many options for food! The cactus club is across the street, you've got endless middle Eastern restaurants, your choice of Starbucks or Tims. Transit is right outside the hotel. I will be back next trip. Price was right too!
josh rogers: If you're in the Vancouver area, this is a great place to stay. I would definitely stay here again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Mel Dixon: Really friendly staff. The Park Pub is amazing for food and entertainment.Food & drinks: Good prices. Happy hour and specials.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view …More

Fairmont Waterfront: what do users think?
Stefanie Wills: The staff, location, and food is the reason why I’m giving this place two stars. However, the rooms are very outdated and rundown. I’ve literally stayed in better two star hotels. There were no outlets at all on one side of the bed. There was noise from both the hall and outside of my room from the ships. It was very difficult to get any quiet time. I asked for a room move but was told the only renovated rooms go up to a certain floor. The photos are very misleading. The view from my room was nice but had to pay for the upgrade. Also, no mini fridge, only those annoying fridges that if you move anything you get auto charged. So tacky. Also, the shower/bath combo is old and tiny.I checked out and went to the fairmont pacific rim down the street and so happy I did!
Thib_ F: Great experience in family . Service was so nice and very good dishes at the restaurant , great hot pool thanks for all the employee. I will come back for sure! I highly recommend this place

English Bay Hotel: what do users think?
Vv Ts: This place has mice infestation!!!! 🐁🐁🐁 🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢
Hemant Gupta: Very bad smell in corridors. Stained carpets. Rest rooms are ok. Great Location. Equipped kitchen but mismatched crockery & cutlery. Got room on 4th floor with great view.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Jordan: This place is incredibly run down and disgusting. If you like mice running around your room this is the place to be!
Xavia: We saw a mouse twice in the days leading up to check-out. When we expressed these concerns to the front desk, the only solutions offered were to either switch rooms or “add more traps” to our current room. Both solutions seemed inadequate considering the possibility of more encounters. Instead, we avoided the hostel aside from sleeping and put all of our belongings on higher ground. When we went to talk to the front desk again at check-out to reiterate our concerns, he claimed that the price we paid (~$1400 for 7 nights) was worthwhile and comparable to other hotels in the area. Beware: for what you pay to stay here, apparently mice are included in the price.
Lucien Bacon: We saw a mouse twice and went to talk to the front desk about it. The only solutions given were to add more traps or switch rooms. Both solutions seemed inadequate all things considered and so we avoided being in the hostel, putting all of our belongings on higher ground. When we went to talk to the front desk again to talk to someone else, they claimed the price that this is apparently worthwhile and comparable to others in the area. Beware, for you pay to stay here, apparently mice are included in the price.
Maggie Joseph: Much older hotel but awesome location. Okay if you want to cheap out, very dated but location makes up for it.Nearby activities: Tons to do, so many different places to eat, right by beach!Walkability: So much to see whether you walk or rent a bike.Food & drinks: Restaurants galore!
Ember Wolfe: My partner and I came to Vancouver to watch a performance downtown and volunteer at a local charity. I booked on Expedia and I ended up paying about 240$ for 2 nights by the beach.Parking:There is a small underground parkade down the alley to the south of the building (there is no access from the residential road that we could find but we turned left off of the main street.) Parking was fairly cheap and the person at the counter was very helpful. I had seen another review say the parkade was “creepy” but that was not the case for us; It’s quite a tight fit and down a very steep ramp - but as two people from Alberta where the roads are made for cars and semis everything in Vancouver is a tight squeeze! The main garage door is locked from the outside which made me feel safe that our car would be fine. Access from the parkade to the hotel is just up a flight of stairs and into a side door. Parking is first come first serve. 4/5Service:The staff were very kind and attentive. They answered all of my questions since this was my first time being the person to book and pay for a hotel! I couldn’t have been happier with the service I received. 5/5Amenities:Our room (which was the cheapest I could get) had a very small but nice clean bathroom which was well stocked but lacking a counter/shelf for my partner to put his contacts in, this wasn’t too big of a deal as there was a cabinet right outside the bathroom in a little walk in closet kind of area. The water pressure was fantastic and got up to my ideal temperature of near lava. Our room also had a kitchen with stove top, coffee maker, microwave, and fridge. There is an elevator if you can’t take the stairs to the higher floors but it was kind of finicky and the door sometimes wouldn’t close fully the first time and it would have to reopen and close again before it would go. There was also a coffee maker fully stocked in the lobby. 4/5Room:The room was large and had AC, two beds (one queen and one twin), a TV, a dining table for two, a vanity/dresser type thing, a walk in closet, a washroom far from the sleeping area and buffered by the closet so you couldn’t hear what was going on in there, and a kitchen. Overall the room was nice and clean but quite dated. We only slept in the queen sized bed but I chilled on the twin both days and it was quite comfy. The beds were on wheels (I’m guessing for ease of cleaning) and I accidentally smashed my foot into one of the wheels at least 4 times. The queen bed was also firm and comfortable but squeaky and I felt like I might have bothered my downstairs neighbours just by adjusting my sleep position. The floor was carpet which my partner didn’t like but I couldn’t be bothered. I had seen some other reviews saying the room smelled “old” or “mildewy” but again I didn’t have this problem and everything was clean. I did find an old water bottle in one of the vanity drawers but it was a weird area and I was snooping around and it’s honestly not something I’d expect to be cleaned between each guest so I wasn’t bothered. The walls had a few skuff marks and places the paint had flaked off. Our view was nice but if you have a molten hot shower make sure to crack the window open so it doesn’t condense! We couldn’t hear our neighbours but we could hear people moving in the hallway occasionally. 3/5Location:This is the BEST part. We were literally a two minute walk from the English Bay beach, the entire block has lots of bars and food places of all types (the See the Sea (?) Pizza was really great after having a few drinks) and we were also connected to a Mediterranean food place that was filling and cheap. There is a Starbucks on the corner, at least two pubs, and I’m pretty sure I saw a convenience store all on the same block as the hotel. We also saw a performance downtown and it was only a twenty minute walk back to our hotel so we decided to skip the Uber! 5/5TLDR: If I was going on my own I would stay here again! It was cheap and in a great location but a bit dated and the bed squeaks. Staff were fantastic. :))
Gerardo Serna Mera: Walkability: Muy cerca de English Bay, un sitio muy lindo para caminar o practicar deportes.Hotel highlights Great value …More
VN B: So after ready the reviews I was hesitant but honestly couldn’t bet the price. For the price it’s the best value all around. Yes rooms are dated, the hotel is older, but they are clean and beds are comfortable. Not sure I’d stay here with kids but for a place to sleep between activities highly recommend. The proximity to the beach, shopping, food and transit is excellent. (Even from the airport east to get to using public transit)Will stay here again

Fairmont Hotel Vancouver: what do users think?
Sarah Greenwood: An exceptionally modern hotel, room, bar/restaurant - everything you would expect for a very healthy price! Or should I say, top dollar. Amazing experience form the minute we stepped foot on the driveway out front. Exceptionally nice staff, healthy food and delicious drinks. The hotel rooms are like luxury condos, however, the TV's could do with an upgrade.
Jay Joyce '74: Disappointing at best...My wife and I stayed as part of a Regent Cruise Lines off-ship Vancouver excursion. We have stayed at various Fairmont hotels in the past, and always had a great experience. Not this time. After the first evening, we went to breakfast with what we thought was plenty of time to spare. Upon arrival at the Notch8 maitre d's desk, we were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait for the breakfast buffet - even though we could see numerous empty seats in the dining room. They explained they were short-staffed. I asked to see the hotel manager, and only the desk manager was present. I expressed my concern, and said that at a minimum, we should have been told when we checked into the hotel to expect delays in breakfast service (because we had a morning time commitment). He was not aware of the problem. When I said that I would like to speak with the General Manager about the problem, he indicated that the GM had not yet arrived, and he did not know when he would. However, he said that he would have the GM contact me. The GM never contacted me.The make-up mirror light in our room was not working upon arrival. The next morning (same day as the breakfast problem) I stopped by the Front Desk, and the receptionist logged in the problem and said they would have it fixed that day. When we arrived back in our room that evening, it still had not been fixed. I called and they said that someone would be up to fix it. An hour later no one had appeared, and I called again. Same response - they'd get someone up to fix it. An hour later, after no one appeared, I went to bed.Next Day - breakfast - no problem - they had opened more space, leading me to wonder why they could not have seated us at an empty seat the day before...?At 8:15 AM, asked to see the manager to discuss my concerns; same desk manager appeared and said that GM was not in yet. I told him about the lack of response regarding the maintenance problem, and that the GM had not contacted me the day before. Polite reaction, but no actionable response on his part. When we left the hotel at 8:30, the GM had still not arrived. We were told by one of the dining staff team that there have been recent cuts in hours. How can this be possible if you're already not providing the level of service that Fairmont guests have come to expect? After three visits to Vancouver over several years - all at Fairmont Hotels - we will NOT stay at this hotel again, and not recommend it to others.
Taylor Rockefeller: Stayed here with my husband and 2 young kids. Very kid friendly without being a "kid" hotel. Room service food was average, and our bathroom was a little small, but the staff was all 10/10 fantastic. We can't wait to stay here again, either as a romantic getaway or as a family-friendly option. Great location with city views. I can't compliment the staff or environment here enough!
Mitchell Edwards: Beautiful Hotel with tons of history.Super friendly and helpful staff.Defiantly recommebd
Geraldine Henry: Our whole trip was a positive experience from before we arrived; to bellhop service, to extra assistance required with AC and figuring out amenities. Our breakfast before departure was top notch. Each staff member was kind and courteous. Thank you for helping us make the most of our little trip for our kids soccer. We always look forward to our time here. Thank you!Safety: Options for shopping and dining our were all close by. Will Lin took exceptional care of us during check-in, and was readily available with any assistance that we required during our stay, including being most professional in always calling us by name. The bell and parking staff were also extremely polite and professional. A ten minute walk to the pier and convention center, this location is near anything that you would require including a massive amount of restaurants and bars. The room was fantastic, clean, and we were fortunate (thanks to Will Lin) to get a room with an awesome view of the port.
Matteo Bocci: 4,5 stars. I spent five nights in this hotel for a business meeting. It is impressive how this huge hotel is run in a seemingly effortless fashion. Everything was really good. My room was spacious, clean, with an excellent view. The bed incredibly comfortable, and the service almost impeccable. The only minor point I believe can be improved is the coverage and speed of the Wi-Fi connection. Perfectly located, really convenient to walk pretty much anywhere in the city. Thank you for having me & looking forward to another stay!
Mehsam Sunny: Funny place to work at. They don't hire many people from south America , Asia, middle East , Russia to work in front office , guest services, restaurants and servers.

The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver: what do users think?
Betsy Huang: Hight quickly hotel, we choose breakfast included, the breakfast is buffet style, everyday a little bit different, but it’s enough. Swimming pool and sauna, Gym was pretty relaxed.
Jose gabaldon rubio: Increible
rod beisel: Great location, overall great staffCheck in person was like used car salesman trying to upgrade us to more expensive room. Never had this experience here before.
Mitesh Vekaria: I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Westin Bayshore Hotel in Vancouver, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From its prime location to its top-notch facilities, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations in every way.First and foremost, the location of the Westin Bayshore Hotel is absolutely superb. Situated right on the picturesque waterfront, it offers breathtaking views of the harbor and Stanley Park. Being able to wake up to such a stunning vista every morning was truly invigorating. Moreover, the hotel's proximity to downtown Vancouver allowed for easy access to the city's vibrant attractions, restaurants, and shops. Whether I wanted to explore the bustling city or take a leisurely stroll along the seawall, everything was conveniently within reach. The facilities at the Westin Bayshore were nothing short of impressive. The rooms were spacious, elegantly furnished, and exceptionally clean. The plush beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep. The hotel also boasts a wide range of amenities that cater to every guest's needs. The fitness center was well-equipped, allowing me to maintain my workout routine, and the spa provided a serene haven for relaxation. The outdoor pool, surrounded by lush greenery, was an absolute delight, offering a peaceful retreat with stunning views of the harbor. The hotel's attention to detail in maintaining their facilities was truly commendable. The staff at the Westin Bayshore Hotel were outstanding, delivering excellent service with genuine warmth and professionalism. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm smile and made to feel welcomed. The staff members were attentive, accommodating, and always went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was memorable. Their knowledge of the area was invaluable in helping me plan my daily activities, and their recommendations for local attractions and dining options were spot on.Additionally, the dining options at the hotel were exceptional. The restaurants offered a variety of culinary delights, and the quality of the food was outstanding. Although they could cater more for vegetarians.I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Vancouver.

Margaret Au: We LOVE staying at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver. Not only does this waterfront hotel offer wonderful views of the harbour, the marina and the city, its location is within walking distance of Stanley Park if you like the outdoors, or Robson Street if you prefer to go shopping or cafe- or restaurant-hopping. Also, there are plenty of bicycle and scooter rental places nearby.Courteous and friendly crew members; rooms are bright and clean. Can use some upgrade to provide more charging ports for modern devices but still acceptable. Good upscale restaurants in the hotel and plenty in the vicinity offering a wide variety of cuisines to suit any budget. Room service was also good.If I must include a negative comment, it would have to be my shock of the century experience with room service! I had a late dinner one night due to work demands, and really needed coffee. When I ordered room service, I wanted to get a pot of coffee to help me through the night. When I was told there was no coffee available at that time, it was simply incomprehensible. Yes, a first world problem but I have never encountered that in all my hotel stays so I was seriously shocked and … “disappointed” was nowhere close to how I felt at the time. Other than that, everything was great!
Mer Kava: Great location now ran by liars. I have been a guest since 2005 always in a Tower suite with Harbor View. Beautiful and convenient for a morning run in Sydney Park. I have also held three national corporate events (300+) over the years. Got in yesterday evening for a one nighter. Something looked off with the front desk staff, I asked confirmation that i was headed to a Tower room, she told me no, that was not the reservation but had the best room in the hotel. I confirmed it would have a Harbor view and a terrace. That was lies. My office i of course booked a Tower room, Room 904 is not the best in the hotel (that is a wood panel suites somewhere else I had a board meeting in years ago), no Harbor view and no terrace. I called the duty manager in the morning and was served another lie (reservation on Expedia, which my office never does). Not a word of apologies let alone a placating gesture, a very abnoxious attitude which is not what one would expect or need to get in the hospitality segment Westin operates in. Sad to strike the Westin Harbor off the list of accommodation our company uses but no guest need to be lied to.
Barney Andersen: I went recently for a gala event. Good service and good facilities despite its age.Service: 5/5 …More
Luis Valencia: Beautiful place

Pan Pacific Vancouver: what do users think?
Robert Dehn: If you are catching a Cruise out of here, then book here right now. It’s pricey but worth every penny. They literally have a “cruise deck” button in the elevators… took all the mystery out of “where do I need to go.” That being said it’s here. You leave from this hotel…!The rooms had an incredible view of the water, were spotless clean, and every person that worked there was so friendly and accommodating. We didn’t realize we needed to print our luggage tickets before getting there… and they even had a free business center with a free printer! There is an indoor shopping / food center directly across the street. Had a few stores / cheap food options as well and an indoor / outdoor sitting area. Grabbed a coffee and some travel essentials without issue.Protip. Ask the front desk to have the bellhops to take care of delivering your luggage to the cruise ship. We handed them off from our room (for a worth it, 5 dollar per bag fee!) …and then we we’re able to walk around Vancouver luggage / stress free for a few hours! Big win.
Kyle B: Really large and busy hotel. Very very good location with a great pool area with scenic views. Perfect if you are going on a cruise. Very busy and can be overwhelming when first pulling up as a tourist.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Great value …More

Tanya: It's the little things that matter. We arrived after a 14hr flight at the hotel at 8:30am. Dreading the late check-in, we were told our room was ready and we could go straight in. The porter was about 2 minutes behind us with our bags. Excellent! Twin beds that were double size. Pillows that were so comfortable. Shower curtain on a rail that was arc-ed outwards - the curtain didn't slap around you as you showered. Bathroom products that not only smell nice, but didn't feel like the cheapest, driest washing liquid. Positioned right on top of the cruise terminal making it easy for us to travel onward. A really really nice place to stay.
Montse Albella Fernandez: Hotel precioso ,cómodo con unas habitaciones espectaculares .
Steve Wilkins: Stayed for four nights pre an Alaska cruise. We had a club deluxe double double room, which was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was adequate. Service was good from the staff we spoke with. Breakfast in the club lounge was of a high standard, and there is no need to pay extra for breakfast if you book a club room. I didn't think the hotel, in general, was of the same luxury as other Pan Pacific's I've stayed in. Nevertheless, I would recommend and stay again in the future.
Sylvain B: Easy check in by 10am, hours before their posted check in hours. An amazing location with a great view of the north shore and well set up room.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view …More

Chris Fowler: First time staying here and likely will try another hotel first if we have to stay in Vancouver again. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable . The staff were very pleasant and helpful and seemed happy to be working here.Bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. Pillows were a bit small and soft, but we had a good night sleep anyways. The reasons for for not getting more stars are:Parking is isn’t included, yes a small discount is given, and there was always someone patrolling the area, which a gave me piece of mind, but I have gotten security and parking included at hotels just up the street. Maybe it’s because I am not from the city, but $50+ for 24hrs of parking…. Ouch.No breakfast, or deals on food.TV, after a long day or running around, we couldn’t watch anything good or recent unless we wanted to pay. Now maybe I am wrong , but then it wasn’t clear how to watch anything good or recent.Didn’t try the internet.A hotel of this size, would be very difficult to paint and modernize, so I don’t mind that everything felt a bit dated.IMO not worth the price.
Benita Very nice!: We stayed here after disembarking from our cruise to Alaska to enjoy Vancouver for a couple of days. Be aware that this hotel does not provide any shuttles to the airport or anywhere else. Be prepared to pay for taxi service or tickets for the train, which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More

Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver: what do users think?
Paul Post: Great hotel with plenty of rooms and friendly and helpful staff. I definite do over as the hotel is central to shopping and the beaches.Your are a 10-15 minute walk to all the attractions. Beaches, Canada Place, Gastown,False Creek. Cabs are stationed out side the hotel if you need a ride to airport or you can walk and catch the SkyTrain.

Ll Brown: Excellent experience here. The staff is very accommodating and nice. The room was nice and clean. The room had a separate sitting area, which works well for us. Overall, it was a great experience.Rooms: Clean, comfortable, and decorated nicelyNearby activities: Next to lots of shopping area.Walkability: Great location.Food & drinks: Great restaurants inside the hotelAlso, in a great location for other food locations
Michelle Rintz: The room was costly and we were very disappointed in the location. We had so much street noise which would have been understandable, but the fire department is a block away and there were sirens all the time. They did seem to stop about 10pm, but if you are going to sleep before then or trying to take an afternoon nap it is quite difficult, bring earplugs. I feel for the cost, we would have probably stayed somewhere else.
Dan Last name: Front Desk took a long time to answer after missing some things we had asked for originally. One thing I find extremely irritating is a key card that won't work. If it works for the first 4 things but not for the next 20, your system is broken. It is embarrassing when your key card does not work, amd another guest comes along. It awkward. Any business that puts me in a socially awkward scenario is not going g to get more than 3 stars. Please fix your key card system. Imagine having to have a conversation with a stranger having to convince them that, yes you are staying here, and yes you do have access to the pool.
Evan Schwab: This hotel was what we were looking for. The rooms were small but comfortable and the wi does provide beautiful views of the city. The area this hotel is in is prime. Ziyue Hu: Service is top notch. Beds are super comfy too.
Diane B: I thought I was going to experience some luxury here. Last night of our trip. The room was spacious, the view was pretty cool and the bed was super comfortable. The disappointment was that the room decor was very dated, there was no closet in the bedroom, the shower was so tiny and old, I wasn't sure if it was mold or marble markings where the floor and the shower walls met, I wore my flip flops in the shower. The coffee station was not great, no instructions and I got my water from the bathroom tap. Not what I expected from a King suite. We went down to the pool and whirlpool and also wore my shoes the whole time, there were hairs on the floor around the pool and no one was there. You had to go to a different floor to reach the change rooms.I wouldn't stay here again.Parking was $50 a night which seems like a gauge but parking in the city is brutal. At least there were good restaurants in walking distance.
Naz Ganjee: The manager of the hotel was very kind! He attempted to assist us with finding alternative transportation to the airport when our flight was cancelled and re-booked at an airport outside of Vancouver! Thanks for the fantastic visit with excellent and friendly staff!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Quiet, Great value …More
Wynne Collins: Beds were super comfortable! The room was great and I had an excellent view (19th floor). I was one block from my conference, so easy to get to. My one complaint was gym hours (7 AM - 10 PM). Made it impossible to work out in the morning. 6 AM start would make more sense. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I really enjoyed the stay,
Katie Morgan: Beautiful hotel and very accommodating staff. Location is great for walking to shopping, Granville Island, Stanley Park, etc. Very central and clean.Walkability: Excellent proximity to many downtown attractions. Easily walkable to avoid driving in Vancouver traffic.

André Relouw: Great room and lovely staff. Service cannot be faulted. Dinner at the restaurant was lovely, and the live music became an event as requests were made and people joined in on the singing. A great night out in the hotel!
