The Keefer Bar: what do users think?
Roger Chan: Excellently crafted drinks.
Michael MacFynn: Great experience thanks for the daiquiris!
Anita Mistry: Amazing place with yummy drinks and delicious food! I was visiting Vancouver and this place was suggested to us by multiple people. The ambience is great with dark lighting. We sat at the bar and all the bartenders was super friendly. Our bartender Asia made perfect drinks and had great suggestions. Asia was very friendly and helped us feel very comfortable.
Andy Chiang: This is a cool little bar in Chinatown that plays homage to its roots with its interior decoration and food offering. And I will say, this is probably the BEST value happy hour that you can get in Vancouver.First, for happy hour, they have specially selected cocktails, a beer, and a couple of alcohol pours. It’s very rare that you can find a well made cocktail from a top notch bar like this one, with happy hour pricing ($6-8).Next, all of their snacks and dim sum are 50% off during happy hour, meaning you can pay anywhere from $3-$6 for your food items. Finally, every cocktail you order is well crafted and a lot of thought and creativity are put behind them. The service is good, and the vibes are awesome. There’s a reason why there’s usually a line-up outside this place, and they certainly deliver. Note: because of its location, there can be some less than welcoming people around, sometimes hanging out on the patio outside for a quick break. Otherwise definitely worth checking out!
Arin Doruk Celikel: Always the best in Van
Edwin Singh: Great cocktails. Nice small bar with very cool colors, decor and vibe. Worth the try. Recommend the Rosemary Gimlet
Harman Singh: The person on the entrance was very rude, didn’t have any manners to talk to the customer.
Kate McMay: One of the best places in the city for cocktails hands down. I’ve sat at the bar a few times and it’s great to see the bartenders work but it would be awesome if the staff spoke up when they notice some guests leaning into other guests. With the seats being so close together and the alcohol flowing, some people have no respect for personal space which is so limited at the bar. Happy to enjoy a tight space if I don’t have to feel like I have to be ready for someone to continually lean / bump into me.
Lizeth Pavon: Delicious appetizers and drinks. Love the ambience too! Thank you for a wonderful experience! 😊 🌊💛🌊🙏🏽✨
Danielle: Too many cocktails to choose from, but that's always a good thing!
Kira Jones: This is one of the best dining experiences I have had in BC so far! Best cocktails I have had in a long time. The lighting sets a relaxed mood and everyone is very friendly. Huge drinks variety and the food is extremely flavorful. Over all excellent!
Hiro Taira: Great experience with my friends from out of town. The fire pit outside is perfect for a spring night drink
Lynnea Van: Such a fun environment! A small little gothic style martini bar with amazing staff and wonderful cocktails! I'm only mad I hadn't heard of this place sooner!
Nigel Armstrong: Loved the vibe at the bar and I really enjoyed the cocktails. Bartender was super great! I would definitely recommend a visit.
Minh Ly Bui: Excellent selection of unique cocktails, all very tasty. Bar tender very attentive and very safe for ladies going by themselves. Saw an incident where bartender saw an expression from a lady n kept her safe strangers. Kudos to u guys! Keep up the great service!
Saide Nur ALP (saide’s): The best shots in town(key lime)! The place has an elegant vibe, friendly staff, but little portions.
Flora: BEST cocktail bar! Went on a wednesday night and got thier rosemary gimlet on special and a dragon fly. Both drinks presented beautifully and tasted scrumptiousn. From the fish tank in the wall, to the resin countertops, the vibes are off the wall and perfect way to enjoy a drink. The live performer also played great music to set the tone. Parking is free but reccomened to transit here due to the sketchy area. The building looks plain on the outside and unassuming but it feels like you walk into another world as soon as the door is open Will definitely come back here again!
Bnj: Love it!Must try to espresso martini
Christine Taylor: I absolutely love this place. It’s been a while since I been, but I celebrated a couple birthdays here and it’s a really cool vibe. The Rosemary Gimlet is top!!
Jason Scharf: Keefer bar understands hospitality like few establishments do. Well done.
Mariam T: Amazing Service! The Keefer Bar has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, and wonderful alchemist doing her magic creating Devine drinks. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

The Narrow Lounge: what do users think?
Amirhossein Tavakoli: Great vibe! Hands down coolest dive bar in town
Iu Ryan: Awesome bar!
Jimmy Feng: A nice hidden spot in the middle of Vancouver with probably one of the most affordable happy hours in town. Cocktails were good and servers were are super attentive, especially with such a small amount of staff.Would highly recommend this place to anyone
Kristina Rivera: Speakeasy perfection
Kass Woods: Cool spot. Bumpin.
Jacqueline: Affordable bar food and great happy hour until 7
W T: Glad to see the Narrow has stayed true with delicious moderate size delicious and inexpensive food and a unique vibe from its shape! Love the no sign still, dont change you Narrow minded owners! Go there i decree.
Aida Nejadi: We came here on our first night in Vancouver it was such a vibe. The place looks sketchy from the outside. It was a small bar with great tunes.
christina ws chow: GREAT happy hour and super friendly service.
Mike Rhone: Like my jeans after a big turkey dinner there’s not much room but like my belly after a big turkey dinner I’m pretty stoked
Vinay Punjabi: Seating issues,very cramped
Jose Rojas: Fun little dive. Went on a Sunday and it was still full of people enjoying the place.
Bryan Dott: Best bar in town.
Anna Bulgakova: I left my scarf at the bar and called to inquire about it. The response I received was that I had to physically come to the bar to check for it. I explained that I lived far away, but was told that no one could check for me unless I was present. I was very frustrated with this lack of service.Eventually, I went to the bar and asked a bartender to check the lost and found for my scarf. He gave me a disapproving look, but agreed to check. However, 15 minutes passed and he still hadn't checked. When I asked him about it, he said he was too busy. I noticed that there were only two staff members working on a busy Friday night, and as a result, tables were unattended and my margarita was poorly made. After waiting for some time, the bartender finally checked for my scarf and told me it wasn't there. However, I was certain that it was, so I asked another staff member to check. She found it immediately. It was frustrating that I had to come all the way to the bar because no one could check over the phone, and then when I got there, the staff member who agreed to check took so long and didn't do it properly.
Tyler Armstrong: The beer was cold as was the service.
Jasmine Sterling: Staff member was extremely rude and confrontational when no tip was left, ruined the entire evening. Also the cocktails weren’t very nice
Toby Thom: Lovely experience despite my poor attitude.I was in a foul mood because I lost my wallet but the bartender on Sunday the 26th was an all star.Put up with my bs and made my night better. Thank you! You're a SaintI will recommend 👌
Eduardo Ayala: Music at a very comfortable level. Great ambiance and that is why is one of my favourite spots in Vancouver
Christopher Hogstead: Love the dank vibes and no TVs on the walls.
yosuf harb: I had been looking forward to this place for a while. Unfortunately the place was dirty, and the drinks were overpriced and mediocre. Staff was lovely- when they could hear you. For a 10'x15' space the music was unfortunately much too loud.
Lim Fong: Was a pretty interesting place! Good vibes and music. Very stuffy inside not much air circulation!

Guilt & Co: what do users think?
Ziegfried Von Shrodder: Came here on Sunday, May 21st with my wife, and from the time we talked in to getting seated, we had excellent friendly service that I have not had in a while. I believe our servers name was Bradley. Super friendly guy who was attentive, I can tell they were very busy because it was a PACKED house and the music was off the charts. Western style tonight with an 1940’s flare, and bar tenders were quick and attentive as well. Highly Recommend this place. Glad we checked their online calendar for the type of music that was performing and playing tonight. If you get Bradley as your server you are lucky to have him. Staff are very professional even with the drunk idiots in the crowd! I’m sure every restaurant gets those! Check this place out! I highly recommend!
Amarjot Pabla: Been to this place many times. In the past, have enjoyed myself, but unfortunately tonight we experienced some unprofessional behavior. The man at the front, as we were exiting, stopped his coworker from stamping us for re-entry as he decided for us “because we would not be re-entering”. Not sure if this is a policy Guilt&Co has now, but from my past experiences, paying cover allows for re-entry later on. Kind of sad to see a place that I truly enjoyed fall to some horrible customer service. Maybe Guilt & Co can speak to this issue. Is re-entry not allowed after paying the same cover as everyone else in line? Kind of sad to see one of my favorite places in Vancouver fall to this type of behavior. I have so many good memories here, but unfortunately overshadowed by this staff member’s behavior.Followed up by going to Smith’s. Great staff, friendly, genuinely kind people. Highly recommend.**edit: I had a back and forth with the owner because I wanted to clarify some details. I received thoughtful responses and it seems like they are taking situations like this seriously. It’s nice to see that they are trying to improve. I have upped my star rating because of this and I hope the next time I visit, the staff will be as respectful and kind as I’m used to!
Suzette McFaul: Terrible experience. Was asked to leave as someone in my party was intoxicated. Not falling down or obxious. Maybe profiled because of age? Yes certainly older than average person. But really? Sad and disappointed tonight.
Federico baldacci: Great music plus great staff = great environment
David Geiman: Adoramos o lugar! Tinha uma banda ótima tocando e bons drinks!
Ricky Au: Fun live music that really makes you get up and dance. Their baked brie is so creamy and tasty too!
Bunny Brown: Cozy cave-like lounge with live music and great apps! Staff are friendly and accommodating. Indie entertainment here is great!
Linney Sylvester: Excellent vibes and dimly lit underground live music venue. The charge $6 per set of music. Drinks can be a bit pricey and the food is a limited, but the music is always good and so are the staff! I recommend happy hour to save a few bucks. I'd except to spend about $100 a person if u stay for few drinks and a few sets and snacks to share
Caitlin Carter: Drinks were unique and tasty, but they were overpriced and our server was rude.
T Gomez: Really enjoyed the live music and tasty drinks!
Kait B: Great cozy live music venue. Staff were great, up front and helpful when I contacted them beforehand to address some access needs. Grounds for Divorce cocktail is hands down one of the best drinks I've ever had! One star lost only because I'd expected more of the food, and there were some issues with my guest receiving their meal in a timely manner due to poor planning on the part of the kitchen.
Gabriela Ganancio: I recently visited Guilt to celebrate my birthday, and while the waitress who served us was good and very attentive, unfortunately, the evening got off to a bad start due to the unfriendly and rude staff/lady at the door. The staff member at the door seemed disinterested in providing even basic customer service and was unwelcoming from the start.Despite my attempts to engage in conversation and let the staff know that it was my birthday, they showed no interest and didn't even wish me a happy birthday. The staff member's negative attitude left a bad taste in my mouth and made me feel unappreciated and unwelcome.I hope that the management takes note of my complaints and takes steps to ensure their staff provides better customer service in the future. Birthdays are special occasions, and it's disappointing that my experience was marred by such poor treatment by this lady.Ps: Music it was very good!
stephen milton: Best atmosphere in Gastown. Good music, good service, and good vibes.
Marcel Laforge: Dope vibes
Filip Rerek: Excellent cocktails, live music, great appetizers and cool vibe! There's a cover charge to support the musicians which is a great idea :) Ms. Dos Santos was one of the most talented musicians we've ever listened to live!!! Keep the great music and exquisite cocktails going ;)P.S. the mezcal sour with an egg white on top was 10/10 and so was the garlic bread.
Tyler MacLeod: Great music venue for different tastes
Jason Kjorlien: Shopping ,a few restaurants & pubs nearby
Simran Gill: I have throughly enjoyed this place every time that I have been to it. I love how they encourage the works of local artists. It’s open everyday and hosts two shows- the early & the late show. They are both equally great. There is no reservation required as its first come first serve basis. You might end up sharing the table or standing at the bar as they try to accommodate as many people as possible. The food is average but the drinks are great. Definitely one of the must-dos in Vancouver!
Kajol Parikh: It was so loud, the drinks were okayish, the whole place too dark and a wait of 35 mins for all this!
Man Z.: Great place!
Sean Carey: Was not informed we’d be charged “per set”for cover charge. Was given the short straw, getting charged $12 for hearing 5 minutes of the first set. Waiting 40 minutes while the band took a break, and hearing 1-2 songs of the next set of the same Maroon 5 wannabe band, and getting charged another $12.All told I paid $24 to listen to ten minutes worth of music with my partner, at $20 a drink too. Maybe part of the cover is the set you hear in line while all the people who “know” someone who works there cut you. I am pretty sure the homies were being charged cover at all. Pretty disappointed.

Hello Goodbye Bar: what do users think?
Aja Lim: good vibes, short line
Aarav: Extremely trashy place. Bad songs. Bad people. Bad crowd. Bad management. If you wanna enjoy, just don't go to this club.
Casie Campbell: Cool inside but not that fun if you don't have a table service booth.
Elaine: Other than the line outside, you'd never even know there was a bar down there. Chill vibe. The DJ played great old school hip hop and RnB on a Friday night. Venue is a bit small. I wish the dance floor was a bit bigger, but overall great experience.
Megan Willetts: $40 cover for men. No thanks!
Tanya Colbo: What a ridiculous place. Went there thinking it was this cool secret club...it's not secret...there are no cocktails...just highballs and no where to dance unlike advertised. I made a point to get on the guest list and no one even asked me about it. The biggest disappointment of my trip to Vancouver.
Lista Spensley: Disappointed. Ready to cash out for a bridal party but was stopped because the one guy in our group happened to be wearing shorts. 1:6 ratio of guy to girls and turned away. Also… a girl with yoga pants and fluffy slippers was allowed in before us, so we were left a bit confused. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Blake Edwards: Wouldn't let us in over wearing birkenstocks...no dress code displayed on website
Thomas Day: Disappointing experience at this bar, more fun available elsewhere in Yaletown. Some of my more flamboyant friends tried to come join our table, but they were not admitted, which is curious because the bar was not full.
Karen Emery: doesn’t exist. or we couldn’t find it lol
Zenmonk Chick: Tried to go here after bar hopping in Yaletown with a gf. There was no lineup so we figured we can drop by for a couple of drinks, however the bouncer informed us that if we aren't on the guest list or have a table reso, we can't get in. I think he expected us to beg him or pay him to get in, but we just said okay and left. We arent going to beg to have a place allow us to spend our money at their establishment. Also we love being spontaneous and seeing where the night takes us, so if we have to have reso's then we will just take our business elsewhere which we did. I find it very laughable that this little hole in the wall place is trying to be exclusive when everyone knows vancouver's nightlife is pretty weak.
Radha Khetarpal: Poor. Didn’t let in even with the approved guest list.Poor service poor management.
Vancity Lady: You can't get through the door sometimes. Only if you know the door guy or the people who run it. When you finally get in... it's so packed and you end up getting trampled by little kids while trying to get a drink. A cliquey vibe.
JeaNFrancoiS Irisch-Mercier: Hello and Fun!!
Austin Ross: DJ / vibe is great, being lied to and corruption isnt great (when they put a $30 forced gratuity tip on a $15 order + charge you for doubles when you ordered singles) MAYBE Covid hit them hard and they need to make up money in other ways but sketchy business practices which really give a bad vibe to a great location.
Sami Jayne: Nice little basement spot. Tables are small but they do the job. Staff are attentive and helpful. Really loved the vibe and music on a Saturday night.
Dragan Scorpian: Love visiting this place but the smell is kinda a reminder of the Ontario septic system I left back in Russian waters 🤪
Nelson Liem: Visited from out of town. No line up outside. 2 ladies walk out saying it’s not all that it’s hyped up to be. With my girlfriend. Host radios whomever and says unfortunately we’re full. Ok?! Well, 2 ladies just walked out and you have 2 new guests in line looking to spend money. Whomever is managing the establishment - do the math. 2 people walk out means $0 dollars earned. 2 people in line with no line up looking to spend means $X earned. Disappointed. If this was my business, I’m counting people in and out to manage cash flow in…vs having an ego. Just my 2 cents.
Jordan Green-Sparks: 👌
ria j.d.: Super cute underground bar with a swanky yet relaxed feel. The cocktails here are amazing, the atmosphere is just gorgeous, and the food is really tasty. Really nice place to go if you want the nightclub feel without the nightclub. Love it.

The Diamond: what do users think?
bond skill: AIslinn was amazing ❤️ Always the best drinks in town!
Nicole Yuen: It’s shockingly hot in the small back room. No airflow on a warm day. Didn’t last more than 5 mins sadly. Staff was nice while we were there though lol
Ohad Okon: Wonderful drinks served by super knowledgeable and friendly bartenders (I sat at the bar). The atmosphere is wonderful. I had the charcuterie board and enjoyed it tremendously but if you’re hungry and want anything else I would probably say eat before then come here for drinks as (other than charcuterie) they only have snacks (appetizers). I highly recommend coming here 😊
Emi: Great cocktails, snacks and atmosphere.
Lisa Belle Lim: The cocktails are lovely, but mostly the service is so good. Our server was really kind and attentive even when it was busy and the bar gave us free shots for moving tables to let a large group come in. We really appreciated the fun atmosphere.
Pantoja: Someone should give credit to the kitchen. Everything that they do is exceptional.
C Wong: I love this place and used to frequent the bar after work. Now that my work has returned to Vancouver, I plan to go more often. Best cocktails from unassuming bartenders. Arguably one of the best bars in Gastown.
Preston Schwartz: Don't listen to Thomas.
Thomas Dodds: Thomas is the best bartender I’ve ever had. Amazing personality and so handsome.
Alejandro Hernandez: Love the cocktails! They have so many and they all taste very good!Place is nice and love the atmosphere(A bit noisy for my taste tho)Music, in my perspective, do not fit the vibe of the barI WILL COME AGAIN
Luke Schuss: My first negative review in 15 years in Vancouver! We came in after dinner for a quick cocktail. Our first server was very friendly and gave good recommendations on drinks. The drinks were nice and enjoyable.Halfway through our drinks, we noticed a couple of mice running around our feet. Not ideal, but understandable-- it's an old building in Gastown. We decided to quickly move tables to get away from the mice.Couple minutes later, our second server comes and rudely scolds us for changing tables without asking her. Normally I would've asked before moving, but given the persistence of the mice around our feet and abundance of empty tables, I figured there wouldn't be a problem. We paid our bill immediately and left. The drinks were good and the atmosphere was fun, but the second server's treatment of us was so bizarrely rude that we'll never be back.
Maffo Harlingen: Interior decor was great, cocktails were fine, but the music was too loud
Mrs P: Nice cocktails but way too loud, ambience was more like a pub, which was disappointing.
V: Sat at the bar and the tenders were top notch. Friendly and personable, with an emphasis on experience. And the experience? Bar none. Will absolutely be back to this gem 😍
Ethan McDonald: This place makes the best Old Fashioned you'll ever try. It's been a while since I visited, September 2022, to be exact. But I figured I should leave a review since I've spoken highly of this place to friends, since. On a summer evening, this is the place to be. It was very relaxing to sit by an open window on a second floor bar and watch the busy Gastown street below. Really interesting little bar, knowledgeable bartenders, and high quality drinks. Next time I'm in Vancouver I will be in a hurry to come back to this place. I've tried many cocktail bars in my days and this one is certainly one of the best in Western Canada.
Jimmy Feng: Great location and ambiance. Cocktails are reasonably priced and bartender’s definitely know what they are doing. The only downside is it seems a lot harder to get a table at this place especially with their very short timeframe to return for your table. Estimates are often very inaccurate and you don’t have enough time for you to settle up a bill somewhere else to make your way back. Pretty much have to wait and hope for the best.
Drew Brinton: Great drink mixes!
Layla Chen: MALIBU was really great$16COCONUT WASHED TANQUERAY GIN | DRY VERMOUTH | SALTED APEROL | STRAWBERRY | DILL
Audrey Aubertin: Good service by the sommelier or wine guy, good chatting with him. Wine was good. We sat at the bar but not interaction from the barman what so ever not even a “how’s your evening ladies or something” very average atmosphere. Lovely hosting staff though.
Sreekanth Banka: Not a great place. We were seated in The hideaway that had seperate menu. The drinks and food were very underwhelming.
Liz Gleadle: The blackberry drink, the service, the environment, and the staff were all phenomenal! Every time I go here, I love it 🙌🏻

Pourhouse Restaurant: what do users think?
Julie Clement: As a person with celiac disease finding safe places to eat is key. This restaurant had very knowledgeable staff, dedicated fryer and did not charge extra for a gluten free bun. Huge menu of cocktails and other drinks, lunch/dinner menu could get pricey as sides priced extra, but brunch worked out pretty reasonable and with great sized portionsDietary restrictions: Celiac General Manager means this is taken seriously
Christine Tse Kuecherer: Stopped in for Saturday happy hour. Received efficient service and enjoyed a well-balanced daiquiri along with tasty chips and dip.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chips …More
Luff Puff: crazy over priced!Lots of other places you can go to for happy hour. Also very cheap! won't turn on the air conditioning on a hot day. You're charging $20 cocktails! come on!
Brendan Boyle: Burnt fish n chips ruined it for us.... Otherwise, a nice spot with good atmosphere and service that is a little overpricedFood: 1/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Onion Rings …More
Monir Moussa: Amazing atmosphere and we had one of the best servers. He knew what drinks to suggest and everyone at the table was very happy with the service. Where it fell short was the food. It was pretty basic in regards to the burger options I felt like I got better value at bin 4 and also the food wasn't as tasty as bin 4. One of my friends compared their burger to Wendys. Sides were extra 10 dollars for onion rings. We didn't really try anything else on the menu but for me and another person after tip it was 150 for burgers and 3 drinks. Sadly I won't return as I wasn't impressed by that food and I feel you should be impressed with the food at that price aka close to 40 dollars a person just for burgers and sides.
Kari Chávez: Buenos tragos, buena música, excelente servicio
Caitlin Carter: Amazing and cozy vibe. Delicious food - we got the chicken sandwich and the pourhouse burger. Some of the best we’ve ever had. The service and location were also great.Recommended dishes Fried Chicken, The Pourhouse Burger, Truffle Tots …More
Heather Chatterton: We are definitely not alone or CRAZY in our perceptions of this Gastown restaurant! I AM really sorry for this review, but the tastes are there with us- we will NEVER go back or recommend it. Our daughter ordered drinks, and items from the menu-some happy hour prices, and regular, to try. We left feeling VERY sorry she had paid SO much for so little- and awful!Results- 3 menu-stated, "known for their Caesar salads-" less than one cup of romaine, a few croutons, and grated cheese-NONE with "creamy anchovy dressing!" HOW could that be missed?? Ok, onward. In rereading to see what WAS "missing-" the dressing! She ordered 2 steaks-1 rib steak $58, 1 sirloin, a little cheaper-ALL that came on those 2 plates at that price-no sides-2 tiny slices of fried onion on each plate? My husband had a few pieces he couldn't even chew! 3 Scotch eggs to taste-NOT bad- CRAZY price of about $7.00 ea. happy hour price! 3 balls of sausage/ one egg in each! The fried chips came- 1/4 C of mayo/sour cream-SMALL bowl! When the waitress came to take the dishes away, THEN, she told us we could have had a REFILL! Fried chicken to share- SMALL bowl 5 tiny pieces- 3 pickle slices, 3 wisps of marinated cabbage-mustard was the dip😝!!? Smash Burger- Happy hour price about $7-MAYBE 3 inches around, SO DRY-even with cheese, thinner than a junior McD burger! 2 regular Caesar drinks came-full of ice with 1 olive. I joked to the waiter about the other not having any. He brought me 3 olives-first before he handed that to me-he asked if I "was allergic to nuts!?" Seriously🙄! Jokingly back I replied -"not unless they are walking around-" but HE WAS serious! Service was VERY slow- NOT even busy at 5:00PM. The waiters/ waitresses were pleasant-but that IS their job and-they were tipped well! ALL the food had come to our table- we just wanted to get out-it was AWFUL! Sad! It IS in a neat, popular, touristy part of town- but when you enter ANY restaurant-HOPE IS that the food IS good, as patrons ARE innocently there for the tastes and experiences! This was quite costly and a wasted $400plus!
Navdeep Kohli: Ambience, food and top notch service from Micheal. Must say he is excellent at his work and makes the experience just perfectRecommended dishes Tater Tots, Scotch Egg …More
Lavanya Ashok: My favourite restaurant and pub in Vancouver. The food and drinks are amazing. The staff is phenomenal! My friend was visiting over the weekend, and she tends to get seizures when exposed to bright light. The staff were so accomodating and lovely. When a mini episode did take place, they took control swiftly, and made sure my friend felt safe and comfortable. You guys were just amazing and I'm going to sing your praises to everyone! Thank you!
Zach Scragg: Ordered the Pourhouse burger, fries, and a scotch egg for takeout. Opted for this place because it seemed a cut above pub burgers and I was looking for something special. Staff were super friendly and attentive when I picked it up, the scotch egg was pretty good and so were the fries. Unfortunately, the burger tasted like it hadn't been spiced, so the beef had that meat locker flavour. I had a few bites but couldn't finish it. It also had one of those McDonald's style buns that smooshes down into nothing when you pick it up. I know the bun was intentional and that they're popular right now, but not sure I can say the same about the beef. Will probably try it again sometime though, maybe the burger thing was a fluke 🤷‍♂️
Ashutosh Anil: Good ambience and service - food leaves something to be desired. Maybe it was just me - but didn't love the fish and chips I had. I know the appies are great.Wish there were vegetarian options in the cooked food section of the menu. Will try again n the future and hoping my experience will be better.
Denis henrique Araujo: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Scotch Egg, Beef TartareMore
Nikki Mathew: Recommended dishes Scotch Egg, Fried ChickenMore
rebecca donnell: This was a hard review to give.Went on a Thursday night knowing there was a live band. Band with cello was great and suited the cool decor and vibe.Rotating popcorn was caramel that night which consisted of a warm caramel drizzle on top that I could’ve eaten bowls and bowls of.The food outside of that was pretty bad. Pre-made frozen onion rings that the chef then salted to death. Burger with a bun that seemed like something a couple days old from the grocery store and a slice of American cheese. Fine if you’re dining at a road side stand but we definitely expected something better from a Main Street in Gastown.Three stars given (generous) because the server was suuuper nice and without barely a word said called the manager who was also did everything she could to make things right.
Jane: Scotch egg was tasty. Atmosphere was great. Looking forward to returning for a full meal.
Brittany: First time back in 9 years. Exceptional experience and food (scotch egg 👌) - same as I remember.Very impressive that the standards are still consistent.
Jesse Houston: Recommended dishes Pourhouse Burger, Scotch EggMore
Bond Armstrong: Food was decent, but pretty pricey. The beef tartare was decent but small portion (came with 3 half slices of sourdough). The macaroni was creamy. The spicy chicken sandwich was okay but the proportions of chicken to the rest of the sandwich was off; there was way too much chicken (silly thing to complain about). It wasn’t very spicy which was nice for my taste, but others might want it spicier. Cocktails were very pricy which turned me off from ordering one. Menu is quite small and the burgers do not come with a side; a side of fries was $6 extra.
Emily Decker: Food was exceptional! Great ambience, service, and drinks, but the standout star was definitely the beef! At our table we had a steak, a burger, and the tartare, so no matter which way you enjoy it, the beef is delicious!Recommended dishes Scotch Egg …More
Caleb Loewen: We had such a lovely time here! So many options if you are celiac or have a gluten free diet! Food and drink were both incredible. Our server, Kess, was very knowledgeable and gave us excellent recommendations for drinks. The live music really added to the experience. We will definitely return!Parking: Parkade right beside the restaurant was convenient but expensive.Dietary restrictions: So many gluten free options! They have a separate gf fryer and grill!

Uva Wine & Cocktail Bar: what do users think?
Karen Hawkins: I love this Yaletown spot and go at least once a trip. Kitchen is the same as Cibo so food is very good.My only negative was the current waiter-rude, abrupt, arrogant. Took my drink away before I had finished! He’s not ready for public exposure. Sit at the bar- the bartender is great.
Izumi Hance: I enjoyed their happy hour drinks!
Zoey Thain: Delicious food and cocktails
Sebastian Fields: My husband and I have a discerning palate, but this place satisfies 100%. My husband is a whiskey lover and there are a variety of cocktails that hit the same spot as his classic favourite, the Old Fashioned. There are several fresh and/or fruity drinks that impress my gin and tequila-loving palate. Plus, the service is attentive, with the bartender even stepping out to insure we were taken care of. Uva is a worthwhile Vancouver stop-over for any craft cocktail lover.
Alyssa Jade: Terrible cocktails and was surprised by the rude service when I sent my drink back. Don’t waste your time or money here!
Kurt & Mau: Stumbled in here for afternoon happy hour last weekend and we'll be back for sure. Not sure the last time we left somewhere a little buzzed for only $40, it was fabulous. Very cozy and quaint at that time of day watching traffic go by. Probably has a totally different vibe at night.
Rohit Vats: i went here for water only , told them i will pay for the glass of water . the guy there refused and didnt had manners to communicate . I usually get water from here as i work nearby .
Sara Robinsmith: Very upscale cocktail bar. Sat at a high table as lighting was low enough that one could not see where other bar seating may have been available. But service was efficient snd the cocktail chosen - Pink Sour - was frothy smooth and absolutely delectable!
Courtenay Anderson: Sat at the bar but the experience was ruined because the manager asked us several times to move down a seat even though there was 4 empty bar stools to the left of me. He eventually moved the two of us to the end of the bar in front of the service bar and sat another couple where we were originally sitting. The bartenders were really friendly, but I can’t get past this bad manager on duty.
JIm JOhn: knowledgeable bartenders, cozy ambience, good selection and delicious cocktails. The Howling wolf and Pink sour were phenomenal!
Blair: Great wine. Didn't try the food after noticing there were TWO items on the menu that started with "grilled baby." Probably still tasty though.
Miriam Stefany Solano Pimienta: The bartender is the show of the night! I really liked this bar. Surely I come back again.
Heather Conner: Cozy spot for drinks, great atmosphere for a date. A few small 2-4person tables and plenty of seats at the bar. Excellent selections of wine and liquor AND they even had Ron Zacapa 23, Guatemalan rum that drinks like a bourbon 🥃. Nice cocktail list and the best service. The sign out front said happy hour from 2-5pm, we’ll be back for that another day
Tarcan Pakman: The girl who welcomed us started with “hey guyz”… after that you could imagine it went just down for me. This place should be under a Granville Hostel.
Wally Silva: What a disappointment!I took my friend there for a drink on a Saturday night as he told me this was his favorite cocktail place in the city. Unfortunately, the whole experience was really bad from the beginning to the end.The lights were too bright, there was no background music, there was a candle on the table that was just fuming, but nobody cared to light it up. No ambience whatsoever. My drink was pretty much just concentrated grapefruit juice, so sour that I had to add a lot of water to it. And the server had a bad attitude and greeted us in a way that really meant "what do you want?" and I'm sure she would have rolled her eyes if she could. But, the cherry on the top was when the bar tender blocked my way to the wash room and asked me where I was going. When I said that I was going to the washroom he asked me if I had a table. When I said that I did, he asked me what table. So, I literally had to point to the table that he himself had given to us just a few minutes before.I guess he mistook me for a homeless person, maybe? I don't know. What I know is that I'm never coming back there and I definitely won't recommend it to anyone.
Sukhman Mann: Very slow service. The ambience is very nice and dark and cozy. The kitchen had closed before we could order food. The drinks were very well crafted but definetely on the stronger side.
My Name: The staff here is very laid back. We really enjoyed the ambiance and the drinks are great! We ordered a few drinks and our waitress was great about making sure we were happy with everything we ordered. If you need to use the washroom though, it is weirdly hidden in the back of the restaurant, it is somewhat of labyrinth, but they have plenty of signs to guide you.
Adam Russell: Every time I’m here it’s always great. The cocktails and staff are really what makes the experience an easy 5/5 not to mention the atmosphere. Always get great service and an all around good vibe that the bartenders create making it an awesome spot to go to.
Roseanna Chan: Cozy little bar. Came for happy hour and tried the mellow mule and Manhattan. Both tasted as expected.
Jane Mathias: Stopped by Uva for cocktails and this place was really good. There were barely any folks on a Sunday evening so we were seated promptly. The bartender is friendly and made amazing cocktails. We wanted to order the Pangea but they ran out of something so we ordered for Fireside Night Cap and One night Stand. Boy were these drinks delicious. Fireside night cap is served with a side of walnuts to enhance the taste of the drink and it truly does make a difference. The One night stand was one of my favorite cocktails with banana liquer and mind you I am not a fan of fruity cocktails. It was delicious. Highly recommend this cocktail bar in Vancouver.
Pingchun Chen: Food and cocktails are awesome! But the time we went was empty. The vibes will be better if there’s more customers.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟-pomelo $16-Pink sour $16-Ravioli $21

Alibi Room: what do users think?
Debi kim Birss: Was here many years ago in my clubbing days...today it's a chill place with great menu and drink choices. Nice outside seating to enjoy summer nites. We be back again. Love the beet Humus so good. Kiss the chef!
John Francois: Busy spot, reasonably priced for Van and staff were super friendly. Would go again
Layla Kim: Hidden gem!💎
J Lovemore: Always a great vibe
Lynx Chase: Updated:The first time I came here, although the food and drink were great, I had a bit of an unsavoury experience with customer service based on an internal miscommunication which I mentioned in my first review that I had left with three stars, explaining what had happened. They replied right away and offered a visit on the house, saying I should email them to set it up. I spontaneously went tonight, however I hadn’t reached out to management yet to arrange anything. Since I enjoyed the food and drinks during my last visit, I didn’t mind going back and paying since I genuinely liked what I ordered. When I walked in I guess they must have recognized me from The photo I have on my Google profile and said that my visit would be covered.Anyways I very much appreciate that they offered this to make up for the misunderstanding from my last visit, it was very considerate and kind of them. The service was great this time; food and drink once again amazing.I got the braised short rib which was phenomenal and so tender, didn’t even need a knife to cut through the meat. The drink I got I think was called the bourbon renewal, which is the one with cassis. It is an Excellent cocktail and I highly recommend for any bourbon lovers out there.I will definitely be back here. Much appreciation to the management for following up 🏼
Ally Courtney: An amazing venue to throw an engagement party! Geoff, Allister (sp?) and the staff were amazing from start to finish. They made sure our guests were well looked after and made sure that myself, my fiance, and our family felt very special. Would highly recommend. Thanks Alibi room!
Natasha Jaswal: Hosted a networking event for 40 people on the bottom floor for my company and it was such a great vibe, amazing staff and a pleasure to work with everyone at Alibi Room. Highly recommend hosting any of your events here. Thank you so much for everything!
stephen milton: Often busy, but the atmosphere is great, and the staff are lovely.
Rodolfo Jose Quilantan Tapia: Perfect for a chill atmosphere
JJ: This is my first time here, and we had a great time . We sit by the bar, and we lenjoyed it. Our servicer, Blaize, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She knows everything about the beer and the food . We were amazed by how much she knew about everything on the menu. She is super nice and outgoing. We ordered craft beer , a couple flights. The wings we ordered were delicious and loved our beer. We will definitely invite our friends and come back again.
Mahsa Al: I liked the atmosphere, but there is not much on the menu. The quality was okay but quite expensive. I also ordered a cocktail, which was nice.
Glenn Hickey: Good food and beer , had to wait over 45 minutes with only 2 people before us ?
R.A.M: Is the most dirty restaurant disgusting food and beer and restaurant smelling so bad
Harrison Richer: They are more than happy to seat you right away
Chere Croteau: Just stopped for drinks. As always great service and welcoming. Left just as it was getting busy.
Vasisht Raghavendra: Dinner with a bunch of friends meeting after a long time. Started with a round of drinks - Beer flight, wine, rum and a couple non alcoholic drinks. For starters, we ordered Chicken Wings and the Patatas Brava(Pan Fried Potatoes in Chipotle sauce) which were good. The best dish was the Primavera Risotto which is also a vegetarian option. This was the highlight of the dinner menu and was unlike any Primavera we had tried before. Very delicious! We also ordered the Vegetarian Burger and it was good too.
Julie “Chronfused” Barrera: Fab friendly service with a stellar selection of taps and snacks. Made a reservation and got such a nice table saved for us. They didn’t hover but also didn’t leave us untended to in the least.
aut jen: Andy was such a great server! I had the short rib off the Fresh Sheet and it was 11/10Amazing atmosphere and the best accommodations for my 10 friends and I. You rock Alibi Room. Stay sexy ◡̈
jasonsalwayshungry: @jasonsalwayshungry Alibi room always brings the quality sour beers im after, but this crispy Pork Belly Sandwich with hoisin glaze, cabbage & carrot ginger-sesame slaw and jalapeño jam was beaming quality 2 pieces of pork belly over lapping perfect crisp on the pork and a flavour that took this sando easily into 9.2/10 rockets🚀 #gastown #vancouver #britishcolumbia #alibiroom #alwayshungry #foodcritic #foodie #porkbelly #vancouverfoodie #vancouvereats
Karan Verma: This is an awesome location within a charming and historic building. The seating options are diverse and the atmosphere is fantastic. Their menu of food and drinks offers a wide range of impressive choices. I decided to try something new and ordered the pork belly burger, which was absolutely delicious. Additionally, the fries were cooked to perfection and had an excellent flavor. The service was prompt and friendly. Overall, a superb place in Gastown that I'll definitely return to in the future.
Kieryn Murphy: Amazing food, great beer & friendly service!! Lovely atmosphere, love the trains rattling pass & being a little away from the touristy crowds

The Cascade Room: what do users think?
Mandy Meijer: Great place! Their vegetarian poutine is amazing! They host drag shows, and other fun events with a very relaxed atmosphere!
Rafael Ribeiro: Beautiful place ! And lovely attendance
David Jardine: Great cocktails. This was a 4 star review, but recently they changed their food menu. Their old menu was way better.
April de Almeida: Service was great. Had a blast
MS: Always chill vibes and a wide range of seating available, come solo, with a date or with a group! Accessible entrance and washrooms. Good pub food with some particular favourites, like the chicken burger, but I make it spicy. Great happy hour specials, with a nice assortment of beers and cocktails. I always make a point to try one of their new custom cocktails each time I'm there.
W Lyons: Great music, atmosphere, and drinks specials
Gary Glans: Their cocktail selection is worth a 5, the food maybe a 3.5 so I gave it a 4. Great staff and friendly atmosphere makes this maybe a 4.5.There's no bad food just nothing in our group popped out as a "wow you gotta try this" moment. On the other hand everything was eaten and nothing sent back :) My appetizer, the scallops and shrimp were cooked properly .. . Not rubbery and over done. We go back here often, more for the ambiance and cocktails than the food.
Shana -: Good musicGood service
Andy Chiang: A cool little spot on Main Street with an extensive happy hour (all day on Mondays). This was a fun afternoon spot, where it’s not that loud and has attentive staff.A large selection of beers on tap from Main St that can be happy hour options, plus cocktails on tap that give you a lot of options for refreshments.Food is good, comes out fresh, and hot. Has a good vibe and will definitely come back for another round.
Vickie Mattimoe: Good happy hour. Dinner specials are very good. Our new go to place.
Warren Cundy: The beer was fine, the customer experience was as follows: I was told to seat myself. I picked one table, it wasn't open. I picked another, they told me it was reserved. I told them to pick a table and they sat me in a large booth. 30 mins later the manager told me I couldn't sit there, it was too big for one person. They moved me to a table in the back. I paid and left 20 mins later and the big table was still empty. The restaurant was about 60% full overall.Edit: Wow, I'm not sure why you felt the need to lie in your reply. Things happened exactly as I noted above in my review. I did not seat myself. The table I was removed from remained empty for the entire time I was there, and in fact there was another large booth the same size further back in the restaurant that had linens and supplies on it. There were never any groups waiting for a table and the whole place was not close to capacity at any time during my visit.Staff training is your problem, not mine. Thanks for the non-apology. Don't worry though, I won't be back.
Carmen: Went with my friend after dinner. She said she loved their cocktails. Our visit was good - it was just really weird when we stood at the entrance with a sign saying to wait to be seated with obvious staff seeing us but not greeting us or doing anything… it wasn’t busy and there were at least 5 staff members on the floor and bar we saw… soo we sat ourselves at the bar and then another 7-10 minutes passed before we were greeted. Very very odd. We stayed for one ant bounced. The vibe wasn’t inviting and staff were friendly after they started to acknowledge us but it looked appeared staged rather than genuine… anyway might try it again but they need to just say hi to guests… if they’re busy. Which they weren’t … very odd.
Ben Young: Wonderful spot for some pub style food and friendly service. Good happy hour specials and the kitchen wings a delicious way to start.
Graham Wood: Great date spot, tasty cocktails, good vibe
Manu Arora: Very nice Friday evening vibes!
Vaishnavi Mehta: The cocktails are genius. I love the rotating creativity. The staff is super friendly and keep the vibe so fun. The food menu just gets better with their constant upgrades.I've been here for drag nights too and it's always a joyful night.Thank you Cascade for always being a place like home.
Daz Lo: Good drinks and food
Bastian Crb: Very cozy place, friendly staff and great food. I went there last night with a friend and we decided to go for the dish of the day written on the black board above the bar "Confit duck with market vegetables..." - Mind blowing - High end restaurant dish quality, one of the best confit duck I had in my life and I am French.. it says it all. Hands down to the kitchen staff that night. Additional mention, amazing for a non drinker to find creative and diverse mocktaills at a decent prince ($6) - I LOVE THAT!!!!. Overall a lovely night.
Ayub Salahuddin: Lovely staff, nice atmosphere, although a cup of coffee could cost a little less than $9
pia sweet: 😡
Chelsea Vancouver: Great spot, especially for happy hour. The trio crostini was not worth it, but loved everything else. Bathrooms are individual rooms 👍
