Vancouver Urban Winery: what do users think?
KELCAN: Just drop by this place breakfast second time around...entering the place during hard rainy day ...feel so comfortable and cozy inside...the food quality is reasonable for the price..
Disha Patil: Brunch menu was super underwhelming. Would not recommend their red wine collection. They got us really dirty plates even when we asked to switch them. Ambience is good but the location is in a sketchy neighborhood.
S Tom: Amazing food, wine, beer and service! Will def be back!
Rachel M: Great drinks, good food, but there were two mice running around all evening. Our server downplayed it but it did not make for a fully comfortable experience.
Alisha Khalil: Absolutely delicious food. Service is top notch. Perfect for a date night.
Curt A: We had one afternoon in Vancouver before leaving on the Canadian the next day. I found the winery/restaurant before we left North Carolina and what the heck went ahead and made reservations. Our visit was excellent from start to finish. Kathryn greeted us as we came in and assisted us in selecting a great evening meal. Of course we also gave the wine a taste.Firstly the food was done very nicely with a nice twist on all the dishes. We sort of did tapas style with charcuterie, salad and flat bread pizza. All excellent choices. If we ever make it back to Vancouver we would return for the food and ambience.Secondly I was very pleasantly surprised by the wine selections in the flight. Thumbs up on Canadian wine, at least the dry reds. They were very comparable with the good Washington state wines. Finally for those coming from out of town, the area is industrial so be prepared and the entrance is inconspicuous at best. Our taxi driver asked if we really wanted to be dropped off!!!Anyway we highly recommend the Urban Winery / Belgard Kitchen.
Saide Nur ALP (saide’s): We loved it! The high ceiling created a very good ambiance. The wine flights were super nice. Hospitality was also perfect. Highly recommended the place.
Paul Rondeau: I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food is top notch quality and the selection of wines, beers and cocktails are great. Try the wagyu meatballs - they are very good but I will say that they’re on the smaller side. If you’re stuck on pasta decisions, give the wagyu pappardelle a try.
Sudeep Chatterjee: We dropped by a charming and cozy wine bar for after dinner drinks. This renovated workshop converted to wine bar has an impressive front door! The high ceilings, brick walls and imposing wooden beams creates an warm ambiance. Our server Emma was delightful, friendly, knowledgeable about wines, beers and cocktails. As per her suggestion we ordered the red wine flight, which turned out to a delicious selection of BC wines. I will award VUW 5 stars for great service, friendly staff and good wines!
Ashley: If you want a winery without having to go to an actual vineyard, this is your place! They have wines from all over the region and beyond. Their selection of wines, beers, and drinks mixed with their delicious food makes this the absolute best brunch spot in Vancouver! They have many options for meat eaters and vegetarians too! Our server was very friendly, down to earth, and made our experience here very pleasant. Don’t sleep on Vancouver Urban Winery, you don’t know what you’re missing!
Meah Peers: Came here for my birthday and it was the perfect place to celebrate! Beautiful setting and atmosphere, and the wine and food were great. They were super accommodating and went out of their way to make our experience special. Our server was also so sweet!! Will be back for sure :)
Diva Dion: Went for my birthday dinner Aug6/22 and was not happy to see a mice/mouse running around…seems like it was the norm because our waiter apologized (sorry about our litter friend running around)…..lovely place and was happy with our waiter but wouldn’t feel comportale going back or recommending it to anyone else.
Eva M: Great place for that special drink with friends
Leslie H: Love their rosé!
Wilson Lin: Super cool winery, cool to see an urban winery in downtown Vancouver. Their version of the lambrusco , the vanbrusco is so delicious. Definitely worth checking it out, and their restaurant the Belgard Kitchen is absolutely delicious.
alex sss: Drink menu is good but the brunch was a bit underwhelming
Kristina Breckon: I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. It was recommended to us by a friend and we see why! The area around the restaurant is a little bit challenging but as soon as your walk through the doors you’re greeted with a huge smile. The decor and vibe are excellent. My husband got the beer flight and I got the white and rose rating flight and both were very enjoyable. We split the pacific board and I highly recommend it!! A great taster of some local seafood and treats. We especially enjoyed the bee pollen cream cheese, the focaccia and smoked salmon… and candied salmon and mussels. Basically everything on the board. One server heard it was our honeymoon and brought us a gifted glass of sparkling wine to celebrate which was so sweet. We loved the focaccia, smoked salmon and cream cheese so much we asked for more and the server and kitchen worked together to make a custom sandwich with those!! You HAVE to try it if you go - ask for the honeymooner. It was amazing. I can’t say enough about how kind and friendly the service and kitchen staff were. It was the perfect start to our honeymoon!! We finished with another glass of local wine and a whit beer. 5 stars from start to finish. Highly recommend this place.
Lorri Prime: Quite a few different wines to try, and a variety of foods to choose from. Jillian was a very nice waitress - server.
Kelly H: To be honest, I am not the wine person, but this place makes me enjoy all types of wines. The vibe is super good especially for some special day.If you don’t know about wine like me, try the wine flight(I forgot the name on the menu) like a beer flight; you will know which wine will make you in-loved
Yulia Merkulova: Great place - nice wines, cocktails, food, and atmosphere!
Charles McNeill: Fantastic flights of wine for tasting a few ounces of 5 great wines! Have not seen this fun option anywhere. Best wine list around top. Beautiful decor and comfortable. Amazing place that is going places!

Pacific Breeze Winery: what do users think?
Bryan Chatzispiros: Delicious wine slushies!
S Tom: Amazing wine and great & friendly service! Def recommend!
Isabelle Major: Great place, lovely customer service, amazing wine! Highly recommend!
Jacqueline Livingstone: Great little hidden gem in New Westminister. They offer tours of the facilities and provide samples during. You can buy directly from them which is great, especially if you come across a wine that you now love after the tour!Their wine club is amazing as you get discounts and sometimes get to tastings! Oh yeah and did I mention their Frose's!!!! Great addition to the summer.A must visit!!!!
David Murphy: Killer Cab has been a favorite for years now and it's still killing it. We don't live in Canada anymore but Pacific Breeze is on our must visit list when we do pass through.
Gillian Vasilyev: Their wine slushies are amazinggg. Will definitely be back and would recommend to all my friends!
Stephanie Dee: Great neighborhood spot. We did a flight and ended up really enjoying everything! Can’t wait for some warmer weather
Dina Chen: Friendly and attentive staff, interesting wines, a great place to hang out with friends!
Andrew: Pleasantly surprised coming here, didn't think much of this place as there isn't a vineyard. We ordered a flight and we enjoyed all the wines that we ordered. Our favourites were the muscat canelli and gewurztraminer. Found it funny that the $1 chips came in a 24g bag with a disposable plate larger than the bag. Anyway, it was quiet on a Saturday afternoon, which meant we got a table right away. Service was great, we were checked up on regularly, and staff are friendly.
Hailey Ng: Good service, enjoy winery tasting
Carl: We always enjoy a visit to Pacific Breeze Winery. Friendly and professional staff and high quality wine.
albert kwan: I was just in the area by chance and found Pacific Breeze while walking around the block. What a great find as I just peaked in and was greeted by Kaivon who introduced the winery to me and offered me a tasting while I wasn't thinking of buying wine at the time. Long story short I bought some wine to share with friends and it was well received and so I came back for more. Kaivon had everything ready for me before I arrived in store. Merry Christmas and all the best in 2022!
Tammy Taurus: Great neighbourhood winery, I enjoyed the outdoor seating when weather permits
Damaris Kazor: Love Pacific Breeze! Great people, fantastic wine and fun, regular events! Abbey the rescue dog is a lovely new addition!
NBM: Great little place! They just opened up a patio a few weeks ago. We enjoyed the wine in the sun!
Glenn Redbear: I would consider this my first choice of wine making. The products are varied and really good. The staff are very compitant.
Pedro Martinez: Got a Goupon and went there and loved the wine flights. Really nice place.
Benedikt Winthorp: Friendly service but price is too high
Michael Hopkins: Amazing!
Kalwant Sandhu: Wonderful placeEnjoyed the tastingsLoved the dessert wine: Muscat Canelli
b ghf: Excellent wine

Lulu Island Winery: what do users think?
Mariia Tarasenko: Decent place to stop by, Jenny was awesome . Thank you
Julie McLellan: A wonderful experience.
Roy Chou: 鷺島酒莊,不只是一家酒莊,更是一個能讓一家大小同遊的“花園酒莊”,享受假日休閒時光的好去處!👍👍👍
Derek: Would have liked to have checked out the winery. Called ahead to make a reservation for the tourism passport and was told that it wasn't necessary. We were turned around at the door. This is frustrating as this could have been avoided if they had communicated this over the phone before we took the time to drive out there.
Faythe Lou: Called a week ahead to make a reservation, they said no worries, come anytime! When we came in the staff told us we couldn't be served as they had another reservation.
amvas007: Grateful to taste a lovely variety of fine local fruit wines at Lulu Island Winery just nearby, 30-40 min away from dt by vehicle. Taste test is $10 but could be used as credit if purchasing a bottle. Most impressive was learning about the winery and the support it provides local businesses.Special thanks to Kelley. From her warm and friendly welcome in the grand luxurious country winery to the invite & wine tasting was a pleasant and enjoyable experience especially escaping from a cold rainy spring day. Will also take her advice to avoid large summer crowds/tours will return again during non peak seasons.
Jennifer Xie: Amazing tour with Tiffany! We learned a lot about wine tasting and wine pairings. Highly recommended for the price
Dan Davies: A lovely location, right in the city! Great wines and excellent service! Although we were there on April, we understand that they offer outdoor seating and snack plates in Summer.Definitely go again!
Westlake Plumbing & Heating Ltd: Best place for wine tasting and to enjoy the unique collection of wines.
Tram Pham: Lulu island winery is truly an amazing place. The wines are delicious and the customer service is top-notch! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great tasting, fine wine with outstanding service.
Chris W: Attended a lecture renting a meeting room there. The interior design of the building is well placed. It's just that the door is open, and there is no heating in the lobby, which is rare in Vancouver
(Mars)
David Hernández Aznar: Small but excellent tour. Great wines.Robert was the best!
Tina Lagerquist: Tiffany was a gracious and knowledgeable host. The tour of the winery was informative, and we learned a lot from her. The wines are INCREDIBLE! I had never heard of ice wine before, but I highly recommend it! We will be back for sure!
Bwubblezx3: My boyfriend and I had such a great time at Lulu Winery today! Kelly was such a delight during the wine tasting session, we are absolutely coming back in June for the wine tour. The variety of wines that she offered were incredibly flavourful with smokey, citrus and berry notes. Meanwhile, Kelly was always providing fun facts and enthusiastically sharing the process and history of these local treasures. Thank you for the wicked experience (:
韓增維: 試飲可以購物抵消費
Alice Mega: The winery tour is nice and the explanation is marvelous. A good option to know more about BC wines. Robert was a magnificent host.
李嘉羽: 若決定當下買酒(免費試喝), 照片 中有價目~我買的禮盒送人也划算。Got a new voucher, next time we can come to free visit booking wine tasting tours 😃
李幸: Various commodity prices are clearly marked
Linda Skidmore: We did a tour on Sunday, the 19th, it was wonderful! It is a huge, lovely winery. Robert, our tour guide was interesting and knowledgeable. He was great! We have been in most Okanagan wineries, Lulu Island Winery tops them all! Thank you for a great day!
Soomin: OMG I've never tasted such a perfect wine. The lady working here was super kind and supportive. I strongly recommend blueberry wine and all ice wines.

Isabella Winery: what do users think?
big pun: At the moment there is no tasting
Hans Viera: Great prices for ice wines
Allan Mah: Decent passion fruit wine. Horrible service. The proprietor of the winery will judge you by your looks and dismiss you for more lucrative-looking customers.
小明: Comparing the places, it is not easy to drive without driving. There are not many varieties of Hongsa, and the price is not competitive. It takes a long time to send wine back to the mainland. Without small favors, it is difficult to impress the hearts of buyers.
Jenny Chiang: We LOVE Isabella Winery. It's a gem that's located in a fairly remote area. Great selection (our favorites are the blueberry and passionfruit dessert wines by Isabella Winery.) The woman who helped us was so sweet, knowledgable, and accommodating. Thank you for the wonderful experience! We will definitely be back!!!!
David James: Red wines were not good. Fruit wines were hit and miss. Blueberry, their biggest seller was tasty. Passion fruit was very sweet with characteristics of an ice wine. Blackberry with 2010 vintage was oxidized, of color and horrible. I'd skip of I were you.
Benita Chandra: Great blueberry ice wine at a great price!

Canada Berries Winery: what do users think?
Jeff Brown: Bought many bottles after a tasting, but wine had turned bad, brought it back, but they would not give me a refund. Do not buy wine here, but berries are fine.
Jolanta Prokopowicz: Their Ice wine is exceptional.
Jacky Ly: Gooseberry, raspberry, cranberry, all having this acidic, overpowering taste. That's despite chilling in the fridge. These wines need to be paired with food to balance the palate. Serving alone? I wouldn't.
Jiawen: Amazing people, amazing wine, and beautiful decor, we took lots of beautiful pictures here. Highly recommended wine and place !!!
Bernd Huebbers: Tried their wine. Absolutely fabulous. The raspberry wine was my favourite. Loved it. I will be back for more
Vivi Huynh: Beautiful decor, amazing service and entertaining, most delightful wines I've ever tried
aya: You can try a glass of wine.
Know Richmond: Our team visit Canada Berries recently and we were blown away! Their wine selection was simply amazing! Mynor De La Cruz, our host was very knowledgable and informative. He explained everything from history, harvesting to processing.Canada Berries nests upon the lush, rich agricultural land of Richmond in “Beautiful British Columbia”; which is world renowned for producing the best blueberries. Next to the mountains with ample rainfall, numerous varieties of blueberries and other berries all grow in the Fraser Valley region providing Canada Berries with the right ingredients for making the perfect berry wines.
Cynthia Y: Had a wonderful wine tasting here a few weeks ago. Tried all their delicious berry wines; each one has its own distinctive flavour. Our host was friendly and knowledgable. Ended up buying a bottle of their Angel's Kiss sparkling wine and throughly enjoyed that as well. Would definitely recommend trying their wine tasting for a fun experience.
aj g: Amazing people, amazing wine. Learnt a ton here. First time wine tasting. what an experience!!
Michael Gatasi: Great selection of wines! Amazing winery representing British Columbia!
Rachel Foodier: Amazing wines!
Owen West: Fantastic. Forget what you thought about fruit wine. Good as grapes.. Maybe better..
Martin Weatherby: Wonderful service and the wines are excellent. Will definitely come back for more.
Charito Kaay: amazing wines and knowledgeable sommelier available for your food pairings. excellent tasting room experience for group of 35 in private room.
HX Hx: It was a very good experience! We tried 6 types of fruit wines, of which the cranberry wine is my favorite! Black-currant wines is also a must-try on the wine list! It has smoky smell, but the perfect balance of sweetness and tart acidity makes it a good match with the steak! Damon is super nice, he patiently explained some technical brewing and raw material selection questions to us, and encouraged us to know more about wine! Both my friends and I believe the wine here will become one of our top-choice on the gift-list! We also tried the ice wine! The brix is high, but I still want to try the second cup when I am in diet :) thanks to my friend’s invitation and the wonderful tasting experience, it gives me another reason to love Vancouver! 😘😘😘
Thumbs Up or Down: 100% thumbs up! I would highly recommend visiting Canada Berries and try their great selections of wines! Friendly and knowledgeable staff!
Charles Kong: Amazing wine and knowledgeable staff
Crystal Jin: Their wine tasting is very enjoyable with different varieties, I rally enjoyed their blueberry wine he most. It totally changed my impression of fruit wine being thick and sweet, they are deliciously refreshing!
F C: I visited Canada Berry Winery today with my girlfriend. We really enjoyed the wine tasting. The wines were delicious, and the host was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great Saturday afternoon with these amazing wines. Also, it is easy to find parking. Highly recommend to spend the weekend here to enjoy the fruit wine and sunshine here.
Telen Song: I had the wine tasting today. Overall, the tasting was richand delicious; my favorite was the blueberry wine. The staff is very friendly, humorous, and informative about the wines. They also have fresh blueberries directly fromthe farm for you to purchase. I would highly recommend this place to purchasewines to try yourself or for gifts.

Terminal City Brewing: what do users think?
Mark Fowler: Went there to buy some bottles and supplies so I could start homebrewing. When I asked for advice, the two dudes working the counter beat around the bush and, more or less, refused to give me an answer,. I'm not sure if that was gatekeeping the hobby or if it was their lack of knowledge, but what really hit home was their behaviour regarding when I was picking up my bottles. They gave me a box that was missing some bottles, and when I went back to get the rest, they were snippy about it and acted like it was my fault for the bottles being missing. Poor service overall, I don't want to be treated like I need a certain level of experience to talk to a shopkeeper. Definitely going to Barley's from now on.Edit as of May 4: contacted the email address a few weeks ago and explained my situation, they never never responded. The question they refused to answer in the store was when I was newer to brewing and asked how long a primary fermentation usually lasts.
David Kosub: Let’s see now. My wife and I have devoured at least 100 bottles or different reds and whites and are pleased. Hic. Even though we’re moving, we’ll still keep coming here as they make the bottling process so easy and the wines are nice….if you can wait 6 months for them to age a bit. However, the lack of cool looking labels is getting harder to acquire. Please keep labels in stock for the wines that order. If I need to pay extra, so be it but it would be nice to know before I start bottling. The overall space and atmosphere make bottling a pleasure. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.
Rip R Peterman: I have been bottling wine, beer and cidre with these guys for years (started at their old location on E 2nd) and have always been quite satisfied. Always ready to do the bottling and very helpful.
Randy Bender: The Top 5 reasons I go to TCB1. The beer (fresh, preservative-free & customizable craft beer)2. The people (Bryn, Josh, Trevor, Vincent & Ben - all great guys!)3. The price (half the price of the BCL, what else is there to say?)4. The wine (lots of styles/price points & so easy to bottle)5. The technology (all the latest in beer/wine making & bottling to the online booking system & they are always updating.Yesterday I experienced the new cooling system for keeping the beer cold while bottling... very impressive!)
Nancy Griffin: Very good selection of wines. The premises are neat and well organized. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.
andrew gallinger: Delicious beer at a good price.Friendly staff that are very helpful. One of the benefits of drinking this quality beer that has no preservatives and additives is that you don't get Hangovers!!!I highly recommend Terminal City Brewing.
Jeff Gibson: Best beer making experience in 50 years !Coming up on 2 dozen batches and each was right on style with that super small batch taste.Bryn Josh and Trevor offer great support and pro-tips...it's a super environment to brew and bottle beer. Thanks Guys !
Dave Crone: We have been using Terminal City to brew our beer for the past 25 years. Never a bad batch
Rob Carr: Ive been brewing regularly with Terminal City for about 3 years now and have found their cost, quality, cleanliness, and customer service consistently excellent . Their staff are always friendly and helpful. I've used other UBrews over the years and these guys are the best.
Ivan Otasu: Ahoy beer lovers! Welcome to the magical land of Terminal City, where every day is a "Beer Day" and every beer is a story waiting to be told. My cousin and I have been loyal customers for years, and let me tell you, the beer is just the tip of the iceberg. The real magic happens when you step inside and feel the warm embrace of the crew, who are like long lost friends you never knew you had. They even let us play our Spanish tunes, because why not?And the best part? You can bring your own secret beer recipe and they will brew it to perfection! No more brewing in your bathtub and leaving behind a trail of hops and barley. Terminal City has got you covered. But wait, there's more! The diverse crowd at Terminal City will make you feel like you're at a United Nations of beer enthusiasts. Whether you're a seasoned drinker or a fresh-faced rookie, everyone is welcome to join in on the fun. Just imagine, friends, music, games, and endless beers, all in one place. It's like being a kid in a candy store, but with better drinks. So, I raise my glass to Terminal City and to "Beer Day". Cheers to good times and good beer, and to the belief that even Baby Jesus and Josh would give this place their stamp of approval.John 2:1-11, indeed!
Jeffrey Young: This place absolutely rocks. I've been a customer for 10 years now. It's always a fabulous customer experience.Trevor, Josh, and Brynn know their craft inside and out. They will hook you up with over-the-top-quality imbibable fluids that absolutely shame nearby Brew Pubs, which habitually charge up to four times as much for the equivalent. So anyway, the Service Industry's pricing structure is one thing, and a complicated use-case to examine, and pricing premiums are to be expected. Espially when it comes alcohol. That said, the ability to obtain the absolute freshest beer possible at 1/2 the B.C. Govt. liquor-store price is mind-boggling. My only regret is that I didn't discover this amazing resource when Dave, the original owner, founded it 30 some years. ago.
Sandra Fiddes: I've been brewing at TC Brewing before the new team started ( since 1994 ish) The transition went so smoothly, the product remains exceptional, the staff are so friendly and know so much. I highly recommend this company to everyone. All the best for continuing success!Cheers!
Tara Morgan: We love this business! Great wine at great prices and great customer service. We highly recommend them
Bill Coleman: Very helpful don't know why anyone would buy from liquor store. They have good wine and food beer.
Wayne Fritz: What a great place to brew beer! 1/2 price too! We brew a special 3% really tasty lager style beer. They make it from all natural products, no chemicals or preservatives added. Really friendly, helpful staff and easy to make an appointment as they are open Tuesday to Sunday. They also make really wonderful red and white wine. It is also half price or less to what you would pay in the liquor store. We have been brewing beer at a variety of places for over 20 years and this is definitely the best place ever.
Liz Moran: I've been going to terminal city for a few years now. Conveniently located in East van. Great variety of wines to choose from. They will help if there is a particular wine you like at liquor store, and will match as best as they can. Great staff, friendly, sociable and always available to answer any questions. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Good job guys!
Ian Cameron: I've been making wine here since 2005 or so, it's improved so much over the last few years that I'd like to share with the world just how much.Service, quality, cleanliness and overall atmosphere are just great. If you are not familiar with the process and products, any of the staff there are knowledgeable and happy to help.If I'm not mistaken, it's been about 3 years since Bryn took over and the improvements are showing.Worth checking out for sure.Ian.PS - happy anniversary ( if I'm correct)
Kory Darling: I have been a patron of this establishment for over 13 years. The products and service keep me coming back .
Roger Mahler: Best tasting beer I ever drank for 50% off the cost of store bought and without the preservatives! Why drink any other beer except Terminal City U-Brew.
Gregory Kelly: I've been a customer here for 20+ years - great guys, delicious beer, fantastic atmosphere in the shop. My favourite errand (by far) is dropping by Terminal City.
kathy day: I just did my first batch with Terminal City Brewing and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. From the email and phone conversations down to every face-to-face interaction, they were professional and friendly. As a bonus, and probably most important, the beer is delicious!I will come again and highly recommend them.Kathy
