Olive Fertility Centre: what do users think?
Direne F.: So far, I have a very positive experience with Olive Fertility Clinic. Specially with Dr. Hitkari’s Patient Coordinator, Julija. She is very responsive and very helpful. She actually helped me booked my HSG at UBC when I told her I couldn’t get any available slots at other hospitals I have been calling. I really I appreciate it immensely that she took time to look and call for other hospitals to get a spot. Thank you.
QI “Superpuff”: Very professional and helpful.
Ruth Sweeney-Magee: Medically, everything is straightforward and efficient, however, the experience can be impersonal with little to no follow up.
Sophia J: Everyone was very honest and kind. Had a very positive experience!
WANER happy family: Great! highly recommend
Tara Matthews: Very nice and always professional
Hilary Wu: Did 3 IUI there 2 years ago. Every time it was done by a different nurse. The first time it was uncomfortable but okay. The second time it was painful. And the third time that nurse was super caring and light handed and I didn’t feel any discomfort at all. I would not recommend doing IUI at Olive because the 3 IUI were all unsuccessful and 2 times out of 3 times I had bad experience. Not to mention, the doctors were always (more than 30min) late when we had video chat appointments. I also inquired about IVF and they do not offer general anesthesia for the egg retrieval procedure. Based on my experience with the nurses, I can say I am almost certain I will suffer so much if I don’t have general anesthesia so I decided not to do an IVF at Olive Fertility.
Emmanuelle Dupuis Bolduc: Olive was amazing. The whole experience went smoothly. From reception, accounting department, pharmacy staff, nurses and the doctors. I have nothing bad to say. They make you feel welcomed, important and valued. By far one the best experience!
Qudratullah Sahak: The staff and doctors are extremely incompetent. I had an appointment at 10 o'clock. They were not ready to see the patient at 11 o'clock either. The front desk employee is always busy on his cell phone.
Julia Bousfield: The office is inviting, comfortable, and clean. Dr Taylor was so kind and answered any questions I had. Would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone!!
AND: I was unsuccessful in getting pregnant with Olive after three tested embryo transfers and no glaring medical conditions as to why I couldn’t get pregnant on my own. I started the journey so hopeful, and walked away heartbroken and confused as to why it didn’t work. I was told nothing but positive things the whole time, but I wish they were a bit more realistic. After getting the incredibly devastating news each time I had a failed transfer, I was surprised that they had no advice on how to cope. I asked if there were any resources and was told they don’t know of any. It also took a couple weeks to speak to my doctor after receiving the news of a failed transfer. The doctor had no explanation except that I was one of the unlucky ones. The staff are all very nice, but I felt like a number throughout the whole process. The clinic is always super busy and felt very impersonal. It’s been 6 months since my last failed transfer, spent $40,000 for nothing except sadness.
JenNDaHaus: Let me be clear, Olive Fertility uses the best practices to deliver excellent results. It's not like all the other healthcare facilities in Canada, which just launder taxpayer dollars to push the 'Woke' agenda for the Trudeau government. They are all for filling their pockets with YOUR money but Olive is different. These guys are all about patient-centered care... NOT profit and control. Thank you, Dr. Taylor and Dr. Hitkari, you are definitely NOT 'lizard people' and it was a pleasure meeting you!
I.H H: Staff at Olive are very nice and professional. They are quite friendly. You will feel reflex when you are having treatment. Dr Nakhuda is very professional and provide knowledgeable advice.
Gillian Wadden: I have nothing negative to say about my experiences so far! Communication has been very thorough, timely, and transparent. More importantly though, the care I have received (through email communications, phone conversations, and in person) has been very personal and attentive.
Olga Valchenko: Everything was perfect! The doctor is 100% professional, particularly considerate, patient. HyCoSy had scared me a lot, but I didn't feel a thing! The staff is very polite and helpful. It was definitely worth the money.
Alexis Povelofskie: I sincerely cannot say enough about the incredible care I’ve received at Olive. From the beginning of our journey in 2020 to have our first to our complicated journey in 2022/2023 to have our second, the compassion and kindness has been so heartwarming. My doctor at the clinic, Dr. Nakhuda, is thorough, thoughtful, kind and gentle while also being honest and clear about what to expect. In fact, every single doctor and nurse I’ve dealt with in my time at Olive has gone above and beyond and made me feel cared for at every turn. I am so thankful to Olive for the ways they’ve added to my life.
Helen Whitworth: Successful ivf experience with Olive, had my son with my first embryo transfer. Sadly miscarriage for number 2 but nurses have been in touch everyday to keep me informed. Doctor Tallon very clear and knowledgeable.
Tatsiana: Everything is beyond my expectations so far. Every team member in Olive doctors, nurses, pharmacists, accounting, lab are kind, professional and compassionate. They understand what you’re going through and support you each step of the way. I did have a couple of minor issues with treatment instructions I’d been given but I decided to mention them here just to let other people know that if something comes up Olive team members resolve any issues very quickly and professionally. All my calls and questions are always answered and never ignored. I was called at least 4 times if not more after a medical procedure! I never got so much attention and care from medical staff ever in my life. Thank you Olive Team for doing such an amazing job!!
Lulu Kim: People are very kind, considerate so far positive exprience
bahar eslami: I have consultation with too many great dr s in Iran and USA; they all said you have normal level of Eggs in age 37 ; and you might need second round too, which i was ok. This clinic, after few emails and online consultation, made appointment for Sono; i went there and totally got hopeless! Such a non sense way of speaking to patients!they didnt even stay to describe the reason of their hopeless speeches! My number is 1.9 which if u ask any pro dr, they will say its normal! But this clinic, they made me completely hopeless and disappointed! Lack of communication and lack of empathy!so sorry for this huge clinic with too many rewards!
Anie Fernandez: Employees are approachable, kind and friendly .especially the doctors mabuhay kayo thank you all

Grace Fertility Centre: what do users think?
Ruby Wang: Good staff and thank you so much Dr.Cheung . He is professional , honest , patience and didn't give up on me durning this brutality journey .I am so blessing transfer clinic into Grace Fertility . Make my dream come true , he make the impossible possible .
RACHEL S: Worked for me on the second try when I had very few egg follicles to work with. Very professional kind staff and Doctor.
Jessica: I would choose another clinic that is open on weekends, especially if your ovulation may land on the weekend. Most other clinic opens for 4-6 hours on the weekend. Dr. Cheung proposed for us to try the IUI, naturally and both times failed. We have since gone to a new clinic and the Dr. there was trying to understand why we went unmedicated both tries and why he didn't put me on medication, especially 2nd try. In the end, I think it's just more money to the clinic if we do a few IUIs unmedicated, and few IUIs medicated.
Joanie Ballard: So far, I'm very pleased with Grace Fertility Centre. Clear communication, I feel welcome by the team. Big kudos to the nurse Hailee!
Emily Cheung: I agree with those negative reviews. The worst staffs and Dr. Cheung. Dr CHEUNG is a small private company.Absolutely careless in approach with probable customers unless they see (MONEY) in you. They don’t care that I am deaf and I am 39. I have failed 3 times rounds.I RECOMMEND Dr. Jeffrey Roberts. He is really big company as seen on CTV news.
Savanna: Such a good experience at Grace they have been helpful and very caring in my fertility journey. They don’t pressure you into IVF at all making sure you have all the options to try other treatments first if you aren’t ready to go ahead with IVF yet. Very responsive!! Unlike olive fertility where they were rude and didn’t seem to care enough to answer any questions.
Kevin Lee: Worst service. The doctor and the assistance were not very helpful, not professional, not compassionate, and not empathetic. Worst, the so-called doctor says it was not possible with gender selection. It is possible. Just in USA. Not in Canada. What a waste of $450 with them.
Vick Lau: Thank you Dr. Cheung for my baby!! I can’t speak highly enough of this clinic.I was covered for most of my services and there was no pressure for any out of pocket treatments.I was well supported throughout his care and by chance saw his talented daughter who was my GP at the time. There was one nurse with terrible bedside manner and after some feedback from a few clients she no longer works there. They are very responsive to feedback.I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic.
Katrina N: I have been receiving ongoing fertility treatments for 2.5 years with many IVF cycles and it has been such a pleasure working with Grace Fertility. I really appreciate the dedication and meticulous planning of the coordinator, Karen . She has always had my back and she has been so considerate of my schedules when planning my cycles. She is so quick too, and that is a godsend. Without Karen, my experience would not have been the same at Grace Fertility.Dr. Anthony Cheung was also a good fertility doctor. Thank you for everything!
Nathan Chan: I've been blown away by the responsiveness, empathy and compassion shown by Dr. Cheung, Dr. Lee, and the staff at Grace Fertility Centre. IVF patients like myself have no shortage of choices, as there are many fertility clinics across Canada. I have experienced many challenges as a single man trying to fulfill my family dream, and I also guide others in this similar quest.Grace Fertility Centre is a very small clinic, but has a huge heart. I would like to especially acknowledge and applaud the key administrative personnel, namely Cara and Karen for always going above and beyond to make people like myself and my clients feel welcome and supported throughout this often difficult journey to parenthood.Thank you.
Minka W: Dr. Cheung is very knowledgeable and professional. Vanessa, one of the nurses is exceptionally helpful and professional. I’m very happy I chose this team to be my fertility team.
Phiphy Pong: Dr Cheng and his crew are the BEST team ever! From day 1 until we were confirmed pregnancy, the clinic has offered us the utmost service during our pregnancy journey. Dr Cheng is very experienced and would give the most valuable and knowledgeable advice on what we should do to be conceived. He is also reachable on his days off as he cares about his clients. The nurses are also very friendly. i cannot thank Dr Cheng and his team enough. Our baby boy was born healthy in July 2021. Thanks Dr Cheng and team!
D.K: I have nothing but good to say about the clinic. Dr. Cheung is very supportive, compassionate and knowledgeable. His office doesn't push IVF on you as a first and only option. On the other hand, Dr. Cheung has a very genuine interest to promote and ensure the health of both parents. The in-person appointments are typically short , but a few times I had further questions about the results and he always managed to squeeze in a short phone consultation to address any concerns. Nurses at the clinic are very approachable and were also eager to answer any questions. I never had to wait for requisitions for too long and had things scheduled relatively promptly. I felt very comforted working with this clinic, unlike my current experiences with maternity doctors - but that's a whole other story.
M: I would highly recommend Grace Fertility. Dr. Francis Lee is warm, personable, knowledgable and kind. Unfortunately I moved during my fertility cycle and switched clinics. The clinic I am with now runs like a business where you are just a number in line. You never get to talk to the doctor, you just go through the nurses. Grace Fertility you have a sit down conversation with the Dr. after each ultrasound to discuss every detail. I was always kept informed and felt I could trust my doctor. I felt I was in good hands. Nothing but a great experience with this clinic.
Mary Lam: As I am reading through the positive review of other patients, I wonder if Grace is selective in the patients they want to provide great support and service rather than treating everyone the same.I was given promise and expectation from Grace in the first initial consultation that they will support me anyway and count on them through the fertility process. Because I mentioned, I did not get the support I needed in my first fertility clinic because all they wanted was for me to spend money instead of seeking a natural fertility alternative.Grace Fertility - Everything went great in the beginning. The doctor asked me what I wanted to do after I took all the tests. - I suggested let's try fertility pills as it was less invasive to my body because the doctor said my test all look well. On the phone, he said, let's try the pills and then come back for an ultrasound checkup because I want to see if the pills are working for you. When I received a phone call from the nurse afterward, I was told there is a cost for the ultrasound checkup when I come back, but this was what the doctor wanted. So I wrote back questioning with concern about why it was not informed at the start with the fee as I did not need to pay for all the previous ultrasound. The nurse got back to me and said the management/ senior person would reach out, because she has not idea which I thought was very unprofessional But 2 months gone by no one reach out to me to properly explain. During this time, I was given 2 cycles of subscription for fertility pills. In between, I was proactive in finding out if the doctor wanted to set up a time to discuss, but the nurse told me he is away. I am in my 3rd month after I have prescribed fertility pill treatment - no one from the fertility or doctor had taken the liberty to follow up. I am very disappointed in Grace - it makes me wonder all these fertility clinics will only give time and support to you if you are requesting treatment that brings in large revenue.
RR A: Dr Cheung and his team supported me from 2014 to 2021 till I finally became a mother. They were patient and never gave up on my journey to become a mother. This speaks volumes, as I know many a clinic that would have stopped trying.
Daniela Cantizano Merchak: My experience with Grace Fertility Centre was amazing! From the moment I was referred up until now that I am 26 weeks pregnant. I was always careful and clearly advised. I can only recommend the centre.I am so glad I came across with Grace and their gorgeous staff!
Canan Kurt: I highly recommend this clinic. Everybody is so friendly and welcoming. Dr. Cheung is such a great doctor and really cares about his clients.
Dan A: I have had only positive experiences with Grace. Their donor coordinator, Karen, is very communicative and responds in a timely manner to all inquiries. She is attentive to my many questions. The doctors and nurses at the clinic are very warm and make you feel very comfortable. I would recommend this clinic.
Simon: I have had a very positive experience with Grace.

Genesis Fertility Centre: what do users think?
Shayla Borik: After having a friend tell us how amazing this clinic was, we asked our family dr for a referral and we're excited that the first appointment was only a couple weeks away from when we were contacted. We were then contacted days before our appointment letting us know the dr was going on a leave of absence and our appointment had to postponed to March. We were not super happy as this meant a further delay in our fertility journey but took the appointment for March. We received a confirmation text this morning and were very excited to have our first initial appointment and then received an email stating our appointment had to be cancelled again with no alternative options and no new date. Fertility is already such a heartbreaking and sensitive thing to be dealing with, and to have both appointments cancelled 72-48 hours prior is extremely discouraging.
Olivia Adams: My partner and I came to Genesis in 2021 for fertility treatment. We found the care and service provided by Dr. Soniya Kashyap and the nurses to be both professional and respectful. My partner and I were told what outcomes were possible and were always provided with great advice when necessary, along with a clear plan for treatment. We are very happy to be able to say that our treatment was successful and we welcomed our daughter to the world this year. This would not have been possible without the help and care of everyone at Genesis.
Maryam N: I have been meaning to post a review for some time now but due to my pregnancy, yes! pregnancy thanks to Genesis, I’m finally able to share my success story as an "older" mom.My IVF journey was not an easy one. All the odds were against me. I was 42, had moderate to severe endometriosis (only discovered while under Dr. Kashyap’s care), and was looking to have a baby with my own eggs. Yet notwithstanding all these challenges, Dr. Kashyap and her team were able to make my IVF journey a successful one. I'm now 8 months pregnant!I had undergone IVF at age 38 at another "leading" clinic where the outcome was very poor. I felt my protocol was not tailored to me and upon each visit I was examined by and spoke with a different doctor.I would see a different doctor each time. I felt like I was just another number to them and the doctors were just going through the motions without addressing what is right for me. They diagnosed me with "unexplained infertility".Disappointed and defeated I was referred to Dr. Kashyap and Genesis through a close friend at age 42.What makes Genesis unique and a standout compared to other facilities is that there is only 1 doctor - Dr. Kashyap, and an excellent and outstanding one at that! She directed my IVF process from start to finish.Dr. Kashyap had her medical training at one of the most leading fertility facilities in the US, is extremely knowledgeable and clearly abreast of all the new literature and research. She personized my protocol based on my unique profile, specifically addressing my age and advanced endometriosis. (something she diagnosed)Dr. Kashyap was always available to answer my questions and when I asked about “chances of implantation” or “number of eggs that may be retrieved” (these questions always inevitably arise and are central during IVF) her responses were always supported with statistics and studies... and not always what I had hoped to hear or sugar coated! There were times I had hoped Dr. Khashyap would be more enthusiastic, empathetic or positive but I understand and appreciate that she has to manage expectations and is reticent to promise something she cannot deliver which may lead to disappointment. That being said, she ALWAYS overdelivered time and time again. She knows exactly what she is doing and leaves little to "chance".I went through a few rounds of IVF in part due to implantation failure (caused by the endometriosis) and in order to retrieve as many viable eggs as possible before my own eggs were no longer viable due to age. I felt confident and had trust in Dr. Kashyap and she delivered RESULTS!At each round of IVF Dr. Kashyap would tweak my protocol and discuss with me the research and why she was making slight modifications. I could also see that she took personal pride to do her very best to achieve an even better result each time at each retrieval! She was able to achieve better egg count and embryo quality at each round!Dr. Kashyap is the VERY best at what she does, is knowledgeable and up to date on the leading research. The nursing team was incredibly kind, responsive, and answered all my questions. There were so many wonderful nurses that took care of me and I'm incredibly appreciative of all of them.A big thank you to Dr. Kashyap and her entire team including all the wonderful nurses and embryologists for helping expand our family. THANK YOU
Abhijit Suryavanshi: Some people might feel Dr. Soniya Kashyap is not friendly but we are not going to the doctor for friendship. She delivers the result. This was our first IVF in Canada but it was our 7th attempt in the last 9 years in other parts of the world. and the first time we got success.Dr. Soniya Kashyap is very well aware of what needs to be done in each individual case, She sounds pretty confident to me from day one,our experience was great with Dr. and clinic staffwholeheartedly thanks for entire team.
Cathy Tam: My doctor send a referra to them. Then receptionist contact me saying the consultation people will call me. But no one call me never ever at all Unprofessional.
mariya javan: I really got disappointed of them, they have terrible customer services after spending 8 months I couldn't sign my paper, even do with them IT they couldn't fix my sign-in problem, I studied computer and its so funny to me when I explained to them they pretend I don't know how should work with comport. to be honest your TIME which is very important it doesn't matter to them at all.
Jasmine Jennens: My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience with Genesis Fertility. The nurses were always extremely helpful and supportive whenever we had questions. We went in for our first appointment July 2021 and by September 2021 my girlfriend was pregnant. We welcomed our beautiful daughter in early June on her due date.We have embryos still in the freezer and will continue to use Genesis to grow our family.Thank you everyone at Genesis for all your help in creating our family!
jim z: couple years ago we spend over 30k here and a family friend did so - no result for neither of us?which we cannot blame any one, but when we try different place then we realize we were in wrong place which was about money not our futurei suggest seeing different doctors and offices before make ur decisionFriends won’t put money in my account neither show when we are in hospital !They can only give free advice which they may get benefits from their referral?
ikki Zheng: They only contact you when they need you pay bills, no service no follow up at all.
Jacui Macneil: We were recommended to Dr. Kashyap through a friend of mine who ranted and raved about how amazing she is/was. Our entire time with her and her team was VERY disappointing to say the least. Poor Poor Bedside Manner, Poor communication and poor direction when taking tests we paid over $600 for. We would probably already have a newborn if it was not for the incompetency and lack of professionalism of mostly all in this clinic. To the nurses team, lab team, directors and the actual Dr I would NOT Recommend this clinic to ANYONE. We are near the end of our Journey and have dropped this clinic and moved onto PCRM, where they treat you like a HUMAN.
Arrthy Vyas: Worst experience ever. It hurts to explain and I am just going to leave it at that.
Edward Sweater: After speaking to the front desk staff I was excited about my first appointment at what I assumed would be a friendly and warm clinic. I was gobsmacked by the rudeness of the doctor. I was left wondering if I had horribly offended her, if she judged me for my situation, or if she commonly interrupts patients mid sentence and blunty makes upsetting statements before getting the information a doctor would need in order to make those statements. In any other industry this style of communication would have you out of a job. I found the experience extremely upsetting. I came away feeling hurt and disgusted.
Delei Shi: Dr. Kashyap and her team did it!!With an AMH of 0.29ng/ml and three failed IVF rounds at two other clinics, I had all but lost hope to have a baby of my own, and started thinking about egg donation.Dr. Kashyap started with a very different approach. At previous clinics I was given full dosage, and but only ended up with one bad quality embryo, which failed on implantation. Dr. Kashyap’s strategy was to give me a much smaller dosage, that actually had a much better result: four grade A day-3 embryos. And the first implantation resulted in a pregnancy!Dr. Kashyap is very assertive, and modern in her approaches, and she also taking the time to understand your situation and create personalized plan. For example, the clinic that I was at before also to me not to exercise, which really had made my life miserable, while Dr. Kashyap said I could exercise since I only got 2–3 eggs anyways. I really like how Dr. Kashyap gives me very certain answers, because during that journey you can use some certain answers, otherwise you will go mad.I also liked that you know that it’s clear that you’re dealing with Dr. Kashyap the whole way. In other clinics they would swap out doctors to do egg retrieval, and another one to do implantation, so it would be impossible for them to understand your unique situation. Finally, I’d like to praise the nurse team at Genesis — they have been super nice and helpful. Going through IVF can be nerve-wrecking, but they are always patient to answer my questions. Their kindness had made my journey much more enjoyable. For women who have a specific problem, like very low ovarian reserve (POR) like me, you need doctors like Dr. Kashyap who takes the time to understand the peculiarities of your situation, prepares a suitable personalized plan, and confidently guides you through it.I am so glad that I finally found Genesis and Dr. Kashyap, and heartily recommend them to everyone!
Shao Meng: As I read the various 1 star and 5 star reviews, I say readers be aware. IVF is a complex process. Here is my story. I started IVF at 37 years old. I had 8 years of infertility, 2 stimulation cycles, 3 embryo transfers, 3rd embryo worked, 1 full term pregnancy, 1 healthy baby boy, and 1 more stimulation cycle, and preparing for next FET. I came to IVF with a war mentality, and Dr. Kashyap was and still is my General. She gave proper diagnosis and trouble shoot along the way. She is one of the smartest people I know, and smart people have a plan and execute on that plan. You also have to be an informed consumer. She has many patients to take care of (I didn't want a doctor who is not sought after) and her commitment is to create babies, that is a monumental task. She is simply the BEST at what she does. Even when the FET didn't work the first two times, I knew and trusted that everything can be done has been done. Did I worry yes, did I stress yes, and I knew she is my best shot. I have referred people in my life to her. I have been with her when the pregnancy test was negative and I have been with her when it turned positive. The one thing I know, she was always with me.
Aisling Bell: Just don’t waste your money. They don’t care. They all knew they messed up my embryo transfer but they did nothing.Such a waste.Poor technical skills everywhere you look or everyone is starting their first day of work.I wish I had gone with my gut and gone to another clinic.
Anna Sutherland: I can’t say enough positive things about everyone at Genesis fertility clinic from the front desk, nursing team, embryologists and of course Dr. Kashyup herself. She is beyond brilliant and is so well researched and educated that I fully trusted her and I confident she would help us grow our family and the baby I dreamed of would one day happen. She helped me stay positive and to stay the course when it was really hard to do so. I did 3 IVF cycles and I appreciated that she tweaked my protocol each time which resulted each cycle in a better outcome than the last. I’m now finally pregnant with a PGT normal tested embryo and I’m feeling hopeful that this will be a successful pregnancy. Another thing I really like about Genesis is the personalized care you get from Dr Kashyup since at Genesis you won’t end up seeing other doctors like you do at the other Vancouver Clinics. Many of my friends at other clinics really dislike how they don’t have one doctor following their care and instead they see a different doctor for each procedure. At Genesis, Dr. Kashyup always knows my case well and is prepared for my visits. I truly believe Dr Kashyup cares about me and all of her patient’s outcomes and tries her hardest to make all of us parents!
Laura Black: STAY AWAY. Do your research. There are much better clinics that offer better support and have more up to date technology and care. They're shockingly unprofessional and rude. They misquoted me. They made mistakes to my medication and refused to return my email asking for information. They are never around when you have an important and timly question and there is no system for helping people. They don't educate you on what you're doing they just give you a one-size-fits-all video with information that does more to confuse you than help since it's generalized. They don't have a good system for organizing the process and overall I really regret it. I was so disappointed with how they handled things and it was a really upsetting experience. Some of the nurses are rude and it seems like none of them have any people skills. They all seemed to be new and nobody ever had the answers to my questions. I could go into more detail but it's too brutal to share.
Evex Safety: I am just starting my journey here and they have been truly incredible. -sarah power
Laura Westgate: After many years of trying to have another baby with no success we were referred to the Genesis Fertility Clinic. IVF is a challenge and a task within itself, however the overall results and treatment I am very happy with, especially given the challenges COVID has raised during my treatment time and the clinic's transition into adapting to deal with that situation.Dr. Sonya Kashyap managed to extract 4 eggs, I am 40 after all.On transfer day I was told they were transferring 1 embryo, which meant the others were not successful. When the nurse left me to get ready I tried to hold back the tears, IVF is such a hard, expensive and emotional journey. I knew at this point the odds were likely not in my favour. I dried my tears and tried to compose myself, however the kind nurse could still tell I had been crying and acknowledge how emotional of a time it can be when told there is only 1 embryo, then she showed me on the paper work that my embryo was rated 4A (at this time I had no idea about what the ratings meant) and told me she did not know fully what it meant, but that she knew they did not give out this rating often and that it was a very good rating. I wish I could remember he name, she tried to life my spirits and give me positivity before going in.During transfer you can watch the ultrasound screen and Dr. Sonya Kashyap explained the little bright speck was the embryo coming down the tube and then as it was going in I was given the moment to make a wish or prayer as it disappeared off screen. This was my first time trying IVF and I came out successful, thank you to Dr. Sonya Kashyap. I am now 17 weeks pregnant.
A H: Thanks to Dr. Kashyap and the entire team at Genesis, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy into the world this past August. After years of infertility we are so grateful to have gone through IVF at Genesis. We can't recommend enough. Thank-you for everything!
Anda Tudor: We started our IVF experience in February 2019 and in June I gave birth to our precious baby boy. While IVF is an emotional experience and for women over 40 like myself chances are reduced to have a successful IVF, we were successful with one embryo & implant. We thank Dr. Kashyup for her professionalism and support.

PCRM Fertility Clinic: what do users think?
aman khangura: Very bad PCRM center I spend there almost $40,000 dollars still dr have no answer for meAnyone want to go there please do some search before you go..waste of moneyThey only want money no one care for you thereOnly money no answerThat all they doI did twice ivf waste my moneyPlease don’t trustPlease I’m telling you guys from my hurt please
M Byrne: Would give 0 stars if I could. As previously mentioned they have a 'one shoe fits all' approach to IVF. After our failed IVF cycle we were told that we should look at surrogacy and/or egg donors with no real diagnosis given. Obviously we were devastated, but 6 months after we were able to conceive naturally while on supplements that a different fertility clinic put us on. And although we didn't get to do IVF with the 2nd clinic they based their supplements and protocol on unexplained infertility. It should be obvious that a medication routine should be based on a persons diagnosis but I guess not with PCRM. Waste of more than 20 K and 2 years of our lives.
Brad Thompson: In my experience PCRM prioritizes financial gain above all else. Ever since they took over, they have been solely focused on making a profit at the expense of my wife’s well-being.For example, my wife has already experienced two IVF cycles with the previous company before PCRM took over. We had a consultation with the PCRM doctor about the next steps and he recommended that we use a donor egg. This gave us a lot to think about and we didn’t move forward with that cycle or book any appointments regarding a third cycle. All of a sudden, we receive a number of warnings that we will be taken to a collection agency for a cycle we never booked. We have received numerous emails from PCRM regarding collecting alleged debts for this cycle. These emails contain several practices that are illegal under federal law. For example, we did not sign any contract with PCRM that we would be completing a third cycle, so their attempt to bill us for it is unlawful. These emails are incredibly threatening and unprofessional. I know they have no legal grounds, but the unprofessionalism of sending such emails is extremely concerning. Furthermore, they are now emailing these notices to my wife, even after I asked them to stop.I believe that PCRM is engaging in illegal debt collection to the point of harassment. When we initially engaged fertility treatments, the company was under a different business name. Ever since PCRM took over, it has become cold, rude, and frankly, amateur in the way they treat customers like their personal bank account.Such a severe lack of emotional intelligence during an incredibly stressful journey is completely unacceptable.
DATA RECOVERY: This was a horrible experience I would never even think of going to PCRM for any fertility or any treatment. Dr. Jeff Roberts was very nice I had my 1st phone apt with him. After a few blood work I would have had to book an apt in office. But unfortunately it didn’t get to that. The assistant of dr. Jeff Roberts you know who you are so I’ll act like an adult not name her. So it came down to that hsg apt maybe all you have heard of this apt and maybe a lot of you ladies who are trying to conceive and want to. Well first of all I want to mention we come to a fertility clinic in sigh of hope to get pregnant have a baby I didn’t sign up to have anxiety, panic attacks or have high BP. The response I received from this absolutely unprofessional assistant in that office was oh we don’t fill that form, I don’t know we have never filled it you have to wait when ever you get that apt. Well good luck maybe if you are lucky in the next 2 years. You can’t prebook prior to 1st day of period, by the time you attempt to book oh sorry SOL maybe try again next month. This is absolutely ridiculous I have missed 4 periods already. I did not appreciate the help, support I deserved so I opted out of this clinic. The manager of this assistant was just as ridiculous I left her numerous messages on vm called her no reply didn’t even call me. I don’t have time to waste anymore time. The main receptionists at this office are amazing so professional just sweethearts wish I had noted their names. I just want to say warn the ladies be careful and choose other options I have also read other reviews they were disgusting absolutely disturbing. I even requested if anytime dr. Jeff Roberts can phone call me I was told by this manager oh he’s busy no time to call you. Well I also mentioned you have some sort of Apt in office for me booked end of this month I requested that manager to also go ahead and cancel I’m no longer interested and please delete all my personal information and data from your database and that patient portal. Anyways I want to formally confirm that it all worked out for me at the ends without her help and assistance there is great ppl out there plus god so never let anyone let you down and don’t give up I was literally in panic mode 1 day before 3 amazing woman stepped in that’s what you call customer service, compassion, caring how can anyone be so cold hearted I guess you have to be a mother to feel it. My apologies Dr, Jeff Roberts I had to cancel my upcoming future in office apt with you any withdraw from your office as I don’t feel confident or comfortable I don’t appreciate the inappropriate, inconvenience and unacceptable behaviour from your assistant. She also hung up on me when I even said if you can’t do my form where can I get from. Good luck to everyone
ray liu: Editing my previous review to 4 stars. We've done a couple of IUIs and are going through our first IVF cycle with PCRM. Our overall experience has been positive, in particular due to the expertise of the medical staff, but the management of the clinic has a few things that it really should improve on.The good:1. We met many amazing nurses during our time with PCRM. They were very patient (Mary and Dana in particular), knowledgeable, and simply willing to help in any way they can.2. The doctors here are very professional and knowledgeable. While routine appointments were usually quick, we never felt rushed when we had questions to ask.3. We were never made to wait for more than 10 minutes for our appointments except on a couple of rare occasions. The bad:1. While we've had good interactions with admin staff during all in-office appointments, the other interactions were less than satisfactory. We've had one case of a missed phone appointment due to miscommunication/lack of communication between reception and the doctor's personal assistant. The response to us was condescending with no apology given, and we missed a treatment cycle because of this. There was also another case when the assistant had told us the wrong appointment date and I only found out by checking my patient portal. Furthermore, it appeared that our primary physician was changed without our knowledge (although this does not seem to matter as stated in the next point). While we were reassured that our primary physician did not change and it was just that another doctor had been added, everything on the record showed only the name of the doctor that got added. A week after being reassured that we were still under the physician that we originally requested, we inquired about this again and surprise, we were switched to yet another physician whom we've never met before. It doesn't matter to us what the internal administrative process is. The fact that this has been so confusing is simply unnecessary for the patient to go through. These small mistakes are slowly eroding our trust in the clinic.2. During your treatment cycle, you will deal with whichever nurse and doctor that are available during the time of your appointment. It does not seem to matter much who your primary physician is. Our medication dosage was determined by whoever did the ultrasound. If you prefer individualized patient care or having touch points with as few people as possible, you should look elsewhere.3. The patient portal is poorly designed and full of bugs. If the clinic relies on this as a way to communicate with patients, it needs to be reliable. Examples of bugs: many important documents don't load properly in the mobile app, once a line of message in the test results exceed a certain length the mobile app cannot display the rest, the mobile app and the web version display different amount of information etc.
Erica S: Started our first treatment beginning of 2020, then we did quite many treatments with PCRM. Dr Roberts was amazing, and every single doctors, nurses, staffs were great, we felt comfortable every time we walked into clinic for appointments. Glad we were under the care of them.
Connor Belsher: We have had only positive experiences with Dr Roberts and his team!
Murray: Our experience at PCRM Burnaby was not satisfactory. There is much to say, but the previous reviews below scoring 1 are wrapping it all up pretty well. Our only advise to all who are looking for assistance to conceive is, look elsewhere. This is not the place you will receive care and top rate professionals that you are paying for in high amounts. When thinking of this clinic, the words that come are: self-interest, defensiveness, mistakes, minimal time for patients, unavailability, lack of experience. We only regret we followed one person's recommendation and we have not done our due diligence to research all the clinics available and their success rates comparing to this one.
Amber Paseznak: So thankful for all their care and help. Dr Roberts changed our life, forever💗
m. Dos.: The staff and nurses are really caring. I felt like I was really taken care of. Responsive and caring
Gosia Piasecka: Dr. Roberts and his team were fantastic! Every nurse and staff member were polite, kind and professional during our many visits. All our options were explained to us and all our questions were answered. The team called us with regular updates. I felt that the clinic was extremely well organized and run by people who care.
Mel D: I did not receive fertility treatments here, but rather I was referred for prenatal genetic screening at this clinic. My ultrasound was completed by Dr. Ken Seethram who explained everything to me/shared results with me as the ultrasound was occurring which was very nice. Afterwards I had my blood drawn and had pre-eclampsia screening. The very next day, I was sent a comprehensive report outlining my results and shortly thereafter I received a call from one of their on-site genetic counsellors who went through the results with me. It was a very informative and reassuring experience. I will return for genetic screening here for any subsequent pregnancies (if there are any).
Blackberry Priv: I never had the chance to listen to what they told my wife, this place don't undrestand that I have the right to listen what are they talking about especially when someone has a language barrier, when you call they insist to speak to both of you but when she was upstairs for ultrasound and followups they didn't let me be a part of the conversation!! we wasted lots of money here and definitely not going back. a moneygrabbing place never offered me to have a seat and always waited in the car not knowing what they said about readyness and the size of the ambrio: my advise to you reader: go somwhere else who respect your needs and concerns not who only grab and send you away without taking care of you.
Jamie Fischer: Worst waiting room ever does not make you feel comfortable the Victoria one is way better the chairs are very uncomfortable feels like you are waiting for the dentist. But the staff are great.
Joey Rose: I am very happy with my experience with this clinic. Since I was first referred there, I was patiently given a comprehensive understanding of all my options. I never felt pressured to try IVF until we were ready (as it is obviously the most costly option). The front desk staff were always courteous, the doctors professional and kind, and the nurses absolutely wonderful. All my blood work and ultrasound reports were quick and available to me through the patient portal. I was given the option of using their onsite pharmacy or my own. I received compassion and support from the staff. Late night random questions to nursing? Kind, non-judgemental responses the next day! Information needed for my insurance? A quick call back from the PCRM pharmacist. I recommend this clinic and wish luck to those who need it!
Nick Lovett: Pretty tough place. While I'm sure the staff try their best, the policies procedures and lines of communication are terrible. Would not recommend.
V Krauss: One size fits all approach, which resulted in me cancelling IVF mid-cycle because compromise was not considered, additional treatments weren't explored. This was despite I told the staff of my care conditions. Was also the most excruciating ultrasound appointment I ever endured. Saw spots, tried not to scream, almost blacked out. I didn't feel safe continuing. I was a patient type they didn't know how to deal with and they never apologized for the negligent care. Many additional failings surrounding appointment bookings, delays, their narrow-minded recommendations to use only one Life Labs clinic (which still botched the lab work), website is slow and inefficient, mess ups on troves of paperwork. $2000 for admin fees + $2000ish for courier just to transfer only his gametes. They really don't listen. We're working with Americans for the surrogacy. PCRM failed to do FDA health screens, so why would we pay such an amount when we have to fly him down and do this portion for cheaper?I personally think anyone who rates this place 5 stars are the same people who would sell their soul for a baby and tell the devil he did a good job. Going through the American clinic for our egg donor/surrogacy portion, and already they're superior for scheduling, communication, promptness, etc. There isn't enough competition in the Canadian market to improve the quality of what is available. I'd have avoided this place if I had a choice, but the Americans were clear that my safety was priority, so had to do this in Canada and at least the hospital (RCH) did their part well when this process turned south. Not PCRM.
Mai Taniyama: I am deeply irked by the endless journey into everybody's voicemail box. Apparently no one has the time to take any call at all, nor do they willing to call back. Every single request is barred behind a voicemail message, promising emptily to return call asap. This beg the question: is the front desk the only position that is staffed with real people? After days of calling with no prevail, I can't help but wonder, am I too low grade for this clinic? Is it because I'd like to consult with the doctors first instead of jumping in blindfolded with bunch of cash in my hand, the clinic considered me not worthy for their service? Do I need a walkin with silk and diamonds on me to prove my worthiness as a customer, or this kind of infuriating negligence is all I am going to get?
P L: Every staff member is very professional and respectful at PCRM. Very organized and nursing is always prompt to respond to messages. Thank you for all your care and support to patients like myself.
Jen Taylor: Fabulous experience with PCRM! Highly recommend and will definitely be going back for screening with my future pregnancies. The nurses and doctors are very caring and supportive!
Teavs Stuts: Terrible wait times. Might as well show up an hour later than your appointment.
