The shelves are still full of overpriced junk because the masses are not as dumb as the liquidators think.

Geoffrey Abubakary: Escalators have been shut off and it seems that they’ve been that way for a while. Not a good look as you enter the deserted store.Then you look at the price tags. A Cuisinart cookware set selling for $949.00; Cuisinart’s own website is selling it for $699.00, and Amazon is selling it for $399.00!No wonder BB&B lost customer loyalty.
Rocky Mountineer: Practically empty store, no people and very few staff members. The, very difficult to locate sales person that I met, was uninformed. A bathroom store which DIDN’T HAVE SHOWER CURTAIN HOOKS!! The escalators don’t work so you must climb them. It looks like it is not going to be there for much longer

Helen R: I just want to say that I experienced exceptional service at the Home Depot, Terminal Ave., Vancouver today. When I asked for directions, I was taken to the place where the plants were, and Olive, bless her heart, she actually loaded in my topsoil for me. Everyone was in a very customer service oriented mood, and it was a real pleasure to shop there. The choices of plants were abundant and they were all good quality. However, the prices have gone up quite substantially since last summer. It is still my “go to” place for home gardening materials.

JunadiJuna: I went in to purchase a hose for a a/c I purchased. I took a photo of the hose with a tape measure across it. I looked everywhere, then a store employee (Wing) came up to me and said Are you finding what you are looking for? I say I t h i n k soooo. I show him the photo and he tells me about the a/c I purchased, and that there are more parts missing than I realize. After saying this, he shows me how to improvise and what will work. Shows me how to connect it all too! A whole instruction class right there!!!I got home, and followed his instructions and WOW I am living in coolness thanks to Wing!
Eugenia Lozovoy: Saw the totally ripped bag of cement. Asked for discount, was refused , called for a manager and after a long-long discussion was given 30% discount.Usually in Home Depot or other home stores at least 50% off the retail price goes without saying for a ripped packaging.Different code of conduct? Was vey disappointed at the store.

Gordie Greer: This has been the worst customer service experience ever. I wanted two chairs, that they said they had in stock. Had to wait 45 minutes, then they suddenly could only find one. Then they said they’d ship the other. They brought us to the till, and it took them 30 minutes to figure out how to do what they said, then I just left. These guys are awful, I will never go back.

Wayne Essar: I drove 40 minutes from a city nearby to purchase 4 Fiskars harvesting knives.The inventory online showed 11 items in stock.Three staff members looked faithfully.On my second visit to customer service a young person with a badge reading "Trainee" solved this 1 (one) hour riddle in 45 seconds by saying "none had been sold in the last two months so the inventory number was incorrect" Thank you! to "Trainee" but why was no one else able to access that information.Not wishing to waste a trip, I bought a couple of 3.8 cubic foot peat moss bails.The kind cashier called three times for loading help in fifteen minutes and then saw a person and approached them personally to help. They did not wish to but another person was found.Thank you to the self serve cashier for her hard work on my behalf.

Three staff around me we "busy" organizing the shelfs. Save your time and go to Home Depot. Got instant service here and was in and out in 5 minutes. No wonder there were no customers in Lowes.
ET: Slow, clueless and unprofessional.Good luck trying to find a staff in customer service. if you do, most staff seem to operate at 0.5x speed.The staff also kept speaking Hindi in front of a caucasian customer and was making fun of her returning a 2 dollar product and the way she dressed.At the self-checkout, the staff seem more interested to play with her phone than to actually help customer out.
D Y: Average home improvement super store. There's never enough staff when you need to ask a question, and for the inexperienced, it's hard to find items in such a big place. The prices are okay, but not the best.

I turned around and there were 30 units on the floor right behind us. Not cool. Then I ask the ladies behind the counter if anyone could help me. No 1 showed up. 1 of the employees walked by, but he tried to help. Didn't know much about them. He could tell me the price. You guys have to get the managers out on the floor to help people out. Not in the back taking stock. Sad

Matt Hoover: Strange place, lacks a friendly greeter and is old and dark, including some areas have a creepy low ceiling. This may not seem like a big deal until you experience it yourself. Creepy! To end your experience the self checkout is reminiscent of herding cattle and the computer shows you a live security feed of yourself on the screen. I could only assume this was implying I was a thief. Guilty until proven innocent. There was no paper bag option and nobody cared to help. I asked if I could use my basket for 30 seconds to go to my car and drop stuff off (as you can exit with a cart) and staff and security said “no way!”. Alas, I placed the basket on the ground and walked out with my arms full, feeling untrusted despite my clean cut image and friendly demeanour. 1 out of 5 stars, would not go back.
Sagar Mehta: May 7, 2023. 10:30pm An employee named Anas and one Indian employee(name unknown). Standing on the exit door body shamed my girlfriend when I was not around and then later when I came back to confront them, they refused. I made sure I create a scene big enough that this guy feels ashamed of his act and be embarrassed in the staff too. Then I talked to the manager(name unknown, but bald and white moustache) and he did everything to save his employee and could not answer one simple question of mine which was "Is body shaming tolerated in Walmart or not?". I was told that this concern will reach the store manager and he will take care of it. I would love if appropriate action gets taken.

Isabelle M.: I typically don't shop at Walmart, since I've only been there twice before, with the last visit taking place prior to the pandemic. Yesterday, I went to the Vancouver location after hearing that they had good mattress toppers in stock. However, I was stunned by the degradation of the store: it looked miserable, messy and dirty. All goods are now displayed on the shelves in cardboard boxes. The mattress toppers I was looking for were packaged in a way that allowed people to touch them, which does not meet Canadian health and safety standards. With the food that's sold in the store, I wouldn't be surprised if there were cockroaches hiding in the boxes.Therefore, I do not recommend buying anything at this location nor online.
Joanne Chow: Bought some Great Value Tex Mex cheese there and realized it’s moldy I open it the next day, after I already mixed them in my food. The expiration date is in 3 months away, which mean it’s a storage or supply issue at Walmart.

W W: I feel like the staffs at this location presume everyone is a shoplifter. I have seen people being stopped before they left the stores or asked to see their receipts (random). When they didn't have enough staffs to 'watch' the checkout counters, they would open minimal numbers of checkout counters so causing a long lineup.What disgust me the most is that when you go to self checkout, there is a camera 'recording' your face while you checkout your items and pay. There is absolutely no privacy! Their price is not particular attractive and their produce is not very fresh, I don't see myself going there again if I have other choices.

They will sell the poorest quality products to you and are less than helpful in correcting for there wrong.Recently ordered a few pairs of headphones. They were Apple Earpods, supposed to be identical to the stock Apple Earbuds. The headphones I received, when plugged into my phone, were recognized as beatz headphones and required the use of my phones bluetooth even though they were plugged in through a wire. This is sketchy and misleading that they would sell these as iOS certified. After hours of time wasted contacting the support teams, I'm required to travel an hour back to Walmart to return them - INSTEAD of them just doing a proper quality check before selling these garbage electronics.Doubt I will receive a full refund. I will not trust shopping online at Walmart in the future.

Jared Barney: We are thrilled and thoroughly satisfied with the couch we purchased through Briers! Brendan was a fantastic salesperson to work with, making the experience entertaining with a genuine personal touch. The couch itself is top quality and feels like it’s going to last as long as we could want it to. Cushions are thick and supportive but soft and inviting. We’d buy through Briers again, no hesitation.
Natasha Little: Very happy with my new sofa that arrived today. The whole experience at Briers was smooth and enjoyable. Brendon was a delight to work with. He is patient, knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun!

I was in contact with David that was so accommodating and arranged everything for me. Day off, everything went smoothly and the team sent I know one of them was Aman, was great with communication and the pair worked so fast and everything was done great. Thank you so much for the great service and ease of process during a crazy time moving homes!
Brittany: We love our custom sectional from Briers! Cherie and Missy were helpful in the store--giving us tips on space planning for our room and picking out our fabrics. Ordering was simple, and we were kept up to date as our sectional was being made (it even arrived early)! When the sectional arrived, there was a tiny fabric defect. I was really anxious about reaching out to customer service because I knew the issue was so small, but I'm so glad I did because Dave was easy to work with and got our sectional done right and returned to us quickly. Service scheduling was practically on-demand or next-day. Kudos to the Briers team!
Janine Krikler: Briers is an amazing store run by considerate kind and attentive people. I have shopped there on more than one occasion. Recently I had a problem and David got right on it. He was determined to find a solution and he did. Nothing was too much trouble as he literally contacted people around the world to make things right… at the same time giving me constant updates.The results speak for themselves and I can’t wait to go back and shop again.
Angela Lee: I love my new extendable table and 6 chairs. Modern look and very comfortable at an affordable price. The installation and delivery went easily and smoothly. One of the chairs which I installed myself was wobbly. I emailed briers & the next day they contacted me & offered to come to my home right away. Dave fixed the chair in 7 minutes. Great product and customer service too. I recommend Briers.

Michelle Gohala: I purchased a custom sofabed and a bedframe here at Briers. There were a huge selection of fabric to choose from. When building this new sofa, I wanted it to be functional, space-saving, and hopefully "cat-friendly". In stores, Nicole was incredibly pleasant to communicate with, and was very supportive in my decision for a suitable tight-weave fabric and the complimentary colour for my throw pillows. The sofabed feet were also lowered a bit so my cats would not be able to squeeze their bodies under and scratch up the undersides. It took a couple months for the custom sofabed to be built, but that timeframe was expected. Cherie also reached out a week prior to the completion, and worked out some minor details- thank you for that. I am very happy with the overall experience, am glad I supported a local business, and I have a custom product built in Vancouver!- A triple win there! My cats and I recommend this business.

I love my sectional. Everyone loves my sectional. Not only comfortable, but looks fabulous. I am always recommending to go to Briers furnishings. It definitely is not my last visit there. Daniel Broverman: We bought 2 sofas and 4 chairs from Briers. While they took a few months to arrive, when they did, they were beautiful. We ended up having a spring pop out the bottom of our chaise after only a few months of use, and Briers was amazing in getting it fixed. David oversaw everything and had the frame completely rebuilt for us in only a few days. The service was excellent and I would highly recommend Briers. They stand by their quality and will make it right if there are any problems.

Graham Peterson: **DO NOT BUY PLANTS FROM HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES**We bought one plant from here and it was rife with spider mites, it completely decimated all of our plants we own, expensive ones, ones we’ve had for years with no problems. Hundreds of dollars down the drain. There is no way they have that under control at the store, and I doubt they spray them at all.Save yourself days of headache trying to save your plants and never buy any plants from here EVER.

D: Parking at this place is next to impossible!You must take a parking ticket when you arrive Try to find a parking spot in this very crammed and dark underground parkade Remember to present the ticket at the store checkout if you want to have the cost credited off your purchase Then don’t forget to pay for the parking at these inconspicuous machines in the underground parking area (that is if you still have the ticket and remember which pocket you put it in, otherwise be prepared to pay $25) Remember to retrieve your ticket from the machine and take it with you Find your car and drive out through the barriers which will only open if you insert a paid parking ticket.And heaven help you if you slipped up on any of the above procedure - you’ll be trapped in your car at the barrier gates unable to get out with horns honking behind you.On top of this, they have coated the floor of the parking area with this sticky paint that causes car tires to loudly screech on rainy days every time you turn the wheel. When the lot is busy, as it usually is, you need hearing protection to prevent your ears from being blasted with this multi-tire screeching sound that reverberates throughout this cavernous space.

Andrew Sanders: I frequent this location as it's the cheapest option for staples on my regular commute. It's convenient to grab the usual grocery items and nice if you need the odd kitchen tool. I find it very difficult to find specific items or items with different sizes. This location definitely feels smaller than other locations which I have been too.At times the line ups can be fairly bad for checkout but that's to be expected during peak times (5pm on a weekday). The staff there are very pleasant and add to the experience.I am am happy that they have stopped closing the mall entry early, it was extremely frustrating to have to walk around the entire building at 5:30 pm when the mall doesn't close until 6pm.

James Marshall: A lesson to all grocery retailers on how to run a great store: good prices, good selection, friendly staff, clean, and a no-frills experience. Fancy, modern interiors are fine but if it costs me even 1 cent extra per shop (and it will), forget about it. Give me a plain interior and savings any day. High recommend this Walmart.

They will sell the poorest quality products to you and are less than helpful in correcting for there wrong.Recently ordered a few pairs of headphones. They were Apple Earpods, supposed to be identical to the stock Apple Earbuds. The headphones I received, when plugged into my phone, were recognized as beatz headphones and required the use of my phones bluetooth even though they were plugged in through a wire. This is sketchy and misleading that they would sell these as iOS certified. After hours of time wasted contacting the support teams, I'm required to travel an hour back to Walmart to return them - INSTEAD of them just doing a proper quality check before selling these garbage electronics.Doubt I will receive a full refund. I will not trust shopping online at Walmart in the future.

MI Five: For treating innocent shoppers (profiling) like thieves monitoring some more than others at self check out or late evenings or day shopping based on speculation and stereotyping them is tempting class action ls. Treating shoppers with scowls, snickering, mockery, creating drama, dirty looks and gossiping whilst deciding they are guilty as a cross departmental 'attack' verbally and nonverbally is despicable. Learn from Shoppers Drug Mart - they lost customers. Today in particular I asked if she was going to stare at me the entire time like Im a crook for 2 x-large and 3 medium sized items at self checkout and she said yes - shame on you for profiling people of your own culture. Also the store sections HARDLY EVER PICKUP the phone and when they do, they do not want to help customers - why call it customer service? Transferring the phone line to people who dont pick up is useless as well. When asking for detailed help they say vague answers and that it will take a long time if they transfer your call - basically its saying we dont want to help.

Gregory Scott: One of the worst stores for scam pricing. For some reason this store is always cheating people with the multiple item pricing. The sign shows a discount on multiples but you don't get it at check out.Walmart is part of the Scanner Accuracy Program but doesn't follow their obligations.Here is the code from the Government of Canada website.Under the code, when the scanned price of an item without a price tag is higher than the displayed price, the customer is entitled to receive the item free of charge when it is worth less than $10, or receive a $10 reduction if the correct price is worth more than $10.I guess Walmart likes to cheat seniors.

I re4commeded your store to many immigrants who gave me positive feedback on your products, displays and well trained , cheerful and eager to help staff on duty. You have 3 cash registers with trained cashiers for people who have different needs beside your self serve cash checkouts. Tavish and 3 cheerful cashiers on duty gave me excellent customer service. Tavish is walking extra miles everyday to help customers, he is patient, very kind, shows customers where the products are located than just direct them to the location. I was looking for a particular item, he walked with me and showed me where that item was located instead of telling me where to go and find by myself. This tells me he has respect and patience. I am a very old senior, I recommend this Walmart to anyone who is able or disabled, healthy or with special needs. Wishing the manager and his staff the best in 2023.

And when I went in, no one could help find the location. And despite the fact it said would have it online, they didn't have it in the store! And when I bought some groceries, I got home to see the orange juice I got was expired. This store definitely needs some work to be at an acceptable standard.

I came back to the store to exchange and they said they can't do anything because are more than 30 days. I called customer service before and they said that the store where I first bought it should be able to replace it. ulearn: One individual stood out among the rest - Scott, whose exceptional customer service skills shone through at Home Depot's Henning location.When I couldn't find the desired 24" x 48" corrugated plastic sheets due to their unavailability, Scott came to my rescue. Despite only having larger 48" x 96" sheets in stock, he willingly offered to cut one in half for me, even though I didn't have any tools with me. Scott's helpfulness was refreshing, especially after encountering three other unhelpful employees. As my young daughter astutely pointed out, Scott was the only staff member who made us feel truly welcome.The management team at Home Depot should acknowledge and appreciate employees like Scott, as his outstanding customer service sets an example for his peers to follow.

For those with disabilities it’s a huge pain to go all the way around to one entrance. It makes more sense to have multiple entrances to welcome people into the store.

I called the store last Friday, Faye took the call and the cartridge was out of stock, so she said she will follow up with me when the cartridge is in. Surely, she notified me about the cartridge availability 6 days later. So I picked up the cartridge the same day, in talking to her at the store, I found she is also very knowledgeable about the products. Faye demonstrated true excellent customer service in going an extra mile for me. I recommend her and home depot store at West Vancouver. Thank you, Faye!

David Sheng: Was at home depot to look for a plumbing fitting. Asked staff for help finding it. The person did find what I asked for, however it wasn't what I needed as I mentioned it didn't look right. He then told me that I need a compression style and then stood off to the side for a minute before walking away. I get that I made an error in what I requested but the worker could have helped me find the correct piece once it was identified. I was not able to find the correct piece and left without making a purchase. I will not go back unless there is no other option.

My review is based upon my experience with poor customer service.Some background information: on May 10, 2022, I purchased a vertical storage shed from your location. Due to recent bylaw changes, I was required to remove the shed, and the receipt noted that the 90 day return policy ended on August 8, 2022.On April 26, 2023 at 1:44PM, I phoned your location and spoke with a woman who spoke fluent English explaining my situation and asked if I could still return the shed for store credit. This woman agreed and informed me that I can bring the shed back to the Richmond location and the on site staff will assist me with returning the shed for store credit. When I asked this woman for her name, she refused to do so and stated that I won't need it, and that any available staff can help me.Two days later, after spending a considerable amount of time and effort to rent a truck and asking my family members to help me transport the shed to your store, my request to return the shed for store credit was rudely declined by assistant manager Sharif.My dissatisfaction is not from not being able to return the shed, but due to being misled by staff, followed by being treated rudely after spending two days organizing to transport the shed, and also having my time and effort wasted. Had your employee been clear on the phone about not being able to provide an exchange for credit, I would not have gone through so much trouble and spent additional resources to transport the shed.Please properly educate your employees. Their actions demonstrates either ignorance or dishonesty, and reflects poorly on your company brand.Thank you,

I LOVE great service!Feb 22/23I had to make a return for a client who made an out of province purchase for her dad in Vancouver. I wasn't sure how well this would go. The client called customer service to explain the situation. The returns staff Fred and Mostafa were absolutely amazing, professional, and efficient. Lester helped me move the items from my car to the store. I was in and out of there in less than 15 minutes!I have always been a fan of Home Depot and their great service, but this really took things to another level. Makes me wonder why I/we would ever go anywhere else!Thanks guys you are the best!!
