Jessica Dhaliwal: Hmm I was expecting a lot from the cruffins here but the pistachio did not even taste like pistachio and was more like a common easy to find cream filled donut but just a little different in texture and with sugar grains on it. The cream doesn't seem to be ok for those who see negative effects from cow's milk either. :( Good thing they have vegan ones at "to live for" bakery and cafe. The iced matcha latte with oat milk tasted like only milk and nothing special at all and I've almost never went back to mention anything like that but had to this time and luckily they agreed to add more matcha which helped but it was still the most plain matcha drink I've ever had. Regrettable
Patrick Rmeily: Love that place. Some of the best pastries in town! The pistachio sprinkled pastry is to die for. And their ham and cheese croissant is pure bliss.

Jahmarley Grant: I left Vancouver 5 years ago. At that time Nemesis was great. I’m confident to say they’ve upped their game and remain at the top end of the Vancouver coffee and pastry scene. Everything we had was top of class. Coming from Europe I was not expecting to be floored by the pastries but they were truly exceptional.Food was solid. Service is speedy and helpful. Coffee was really cool. A bit stronger brew than European style brewing but great none the less.High recommendation,High praise.
hanh tran: The latte and chai latte were both just okay, the chai wasn't as strong even after I mixed it. The tiramisu croissant was delicious, with lots of filling and flakey crust :)
Stephanie S: Cute packaging. Excellent pastries. Enjoyed the Queen pastry way more than I expected crispy flaky goodness.Recommended dishes Pastries …More
Estela Hsu: Coffee is just okay, not impressed at all.Beautiful view better than the small cup of coffee.BTW, no Wi-Fi here.
Adrija Banerjee: A perfect nook at the back side of Gastown! The coffee is really good. The bakery is too good! Customer service is amazing! They have small sitting areas inside as well as outside. Full of plants!! Really enjoyed every bit of this café.
Marie Thiriez: Loved the salmon bagel and really nice Masala tea, the staff was really nice.
Abhishek Das: I love Nemesis but my experience here was not upto the mark. The tiramisu croissant was not fresh or flaky as usual. The mocha latte was a bit too strong on the chocolate.
Matthew Kundrick: Food is not that great coffee was okay

Earl Flormata: Solid solid coffee. Fantastic flavour. Happy and friendly servers and baristas. I’d definitely come back for more.
Lisa W: Great experience today at Prototype coffee. The baristas are very helpful, and explained to us with a lot of patience. Their pour overs are delicious, so flavourful while not bitter. If you like coffee, especially black coffee, come here and try them out! Would recommend doing a flight, to compare the different flavors.Side note, their bergamot waffle is so fragrant, yum.

Revolver: what do users think?
Jaycob Yu: Had a terrible experience on Victoria Day. The baristas there must hate their job, their faces are soooooo bad!Dog unfriendly- time saving tip!!!I was planing to grab a bag of bean and a drink then sit outside because I was with my dog. I walked in with my dog that inside a travel crate and hanged on my body, I started to browse the coffee beans on the shelf. After a minute, a man with a terrible face(both man and woman had terrible face) told me you cannot stay here, I even asked if I can just grab a bag of bean and go and the answer was no.I totally understand if any store doesn’t allow dogs in, and you have different approaches to deal with:1:Put a sign or sticker in the front dog( I checked and there is non)2: Train the employees how to inform a client dog is not allowed, with at lease a smile face( I don’t even if that is a fake smile)Usually I feel sorry and I will put my dog back to the car and go back to shop but this time I don’t even want ti look back the store.Even you have the best bean, best skill barista store, your hospitality is 0.Won’t come back at all!
플라잉캠퍼: Packed with people. Gotta be good. Stuff was way too expensive.
Toni Davis: The staff was friendly & helpful when I asked a lot of questions about their menu. Was given a wonderful suggestion & the coffee choice was smooth & heavenly. I came on a Wednesday morning so it was fairly quiet. I will keep coming here every time I’m in Gastown. ❣️
Tatiana Stone: O. M. G. I literally dream about this coffee. It was so smooth and complex and delicious. Even their decaf roast (from Thom Bergen I believe) was amazing. The inside has such a great atmosphere, and it's on top of an antique book store, basically heaven.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Latte and Lemon Loaf, Espresso Tasting Flight, Alternate Brew Methods …More
Monir Moussa: Best coffee I have personally ever had. Distinct flavours open your mind up to the world of coffee. I recommend the flight of espressos to share with friends. A great place to chat and have a good time catching up with a friend. Strong recommendation.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Pour over Coffee, Espresso Flight and Dounut …More
Mathew Matin: Great shop and loads of coffee selection! Enjoyed the vibes, must for coffee lovers at all levels!Recommended dishes Pour over Coffee …More
Matteo Bocci: Specialty coffee is a serious business, and this place is definitely an open door to the this world. A large selection of coffee beverages, baked goods, Coffee beans & all things coffee! Very hipster concept and interior, I loved every bit of it. My latte to-go was perfection: So rich, the specific notes of the roasted beans, the perfect texture of the milk. Really friendly staff!
F: The best coffee in Vancouver
David Dd: They are experts in coffee. You can experience espresso, and if you order a latte, you can see a very nice latte art
Ozzy Xu: If only I could give 0 stars, but here is my review I totally understand, that pets aren’t allowed but have some “kind” or decency, ways of telling your customers. Anywho, my Iced Mocha was alright I give it a 2/5. On the other hand, Customer service, was definitely dead and it looked like they hate their jobs. Also to the young stubby/chubby lady that told me off about my puppy not being allowed in the store, and not saying it “kindly”, please have some stickers or signs on the store that it’s not pet friendly atleast nor allowed. Instead of storming in while I was looking at the menu, and than telling my friend what I wanted to order. But overall I will not come back, just cause of the customer service. As of a local coffee shop I expected better as they’re a (Vancouver Classic). But overall I’m better off going to a basic Starbucks where Customer service is more friendly, in a way and the diversity is there.
Liam Morrison: Favourite coffee in VancouverFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Coffee Samplers and Oat Latte, Pour over Coffee …More
Sophia Clark: ♥️
Aleisha DuChateau: This was the first coffee shop that my husband and I visited on our trip to Vancouver and after a couple of days staying, at the end of our trip it was the last coffee shop we had to revisit. The coffee was not only good but the shop was very comfortable. The coffee was not burnt and made with care. You could actually tell that all of the baristas knew what they were doing. If you are into pour overs, 100% get one. If you were lucky enough to snag a bakery item, grab one of the donuts. They are so delicious.
Cat S: Delicious speciality latte!
Eduardo Romero: Great spot for pour overs. They had about six different beans to try. All very good.It looks small, but there's extra space thru the door at the back.
Gracej S: The best pour over coffee I had during my visit to YVR. My family liked friendly staff and cozy atmosphere!
Law Rence “_” H: Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Coffee Samplers and Oat Latte, Espresso Flight and Dounut, Brew Flight, Alternate Brew Methods, Raspberry Chocolate Donut, Espresso Tasting Flight, Dessert, Coffe and Doughnuts, Pour over CoffeeMore
Y L: Perfect cup of coffee

Timbertrain Coffee Roasters: what do users think?
플라잉캠퍼: A small cafe on the road. A bit crowded. Coffee was ok.
Martin Vondruska: Very unique coffee collection. These guys have small batch coffee roasted with very special flavors.Funky decor with a very interesting seating system. If you like to try none traditional coffee flavors try them out. Worth a taste 👅
Marilyn Huynh: Loveeeed the scones, they were so moist inside. You must get the cheese scone! Wide range of espresso options. Matcha could have had a bit more matcha taste or less milk. Cosmic Candy was delicious.
Yotsawadee Tanaboonsuti: Coffee, so-so
Nicolas Joly: 3rd wave coffee. If you actually know and enjoy coffee this is the place for you. We roast our own coffee and appreciate single sourced fresh coffee on its own.Got some pour overs that were very good and enjoyed it.
Derek Skarban: Great service, amazing coffee and delicious treats.
Danilen Villanueva: James and Latisha (hope I'm spelling that right) were super sweet and nice. James was knowledgable on the coffee selection and you could tell that he was excited to be speaking about coffee 3 I don't come to Timbertrain often just because of location, but it's easily one of my favourite roasters/cafes.
Bradley Mortensen: Best coffee in town. Staff are super friendly. Nice and peaceful atmosphere, too. Highly recommend
Tereza: Very nice environment
Buddha hand: 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Marco Flaminio Rufo: Excellent cup of coffee. When I was looking for some beans to buy, the barista approached and offer extra information. She was very kind and nice.
Jamie-Lee Fuoco: I like this place a lot. Great coffee and friendly service.
Karol Trębuła: Delicious coffee, fresh bakery and the service super kind. Definitely will be back
Amanda W: I was at the shop as soon as they open. The store is pretty small and bar is close with sitting table so we could hear everything. Barista started to talk so loud about how bad espresso is and she started to keep changing it. Was she not thinking about customer? I already paid for my coffee, sitting here drinking what you served me. It wasn’t pleasant way to hear that. If she wants to change it whatsoever she could just do it quietly. I hope she becomes more professional and respect what she is doing as barista.
Micah Osis: Best coffee in Vancouver. Highly recommend
Jane: I was there on this Tuesday morning. I had an unwelcoming vibe from barista, the one in the cashier. Seems like she doesn't enjoy her work. And my cortado had too much foam, almost 2/3 of cup was filed with foam. Very disappointed at service.
Melissa Sheridan: Incredible find, highly recommend
Mazen Mokhtar: Great staff. Love the atmosphere also
Jake Z: $10 for an americano + croissant. Pretty good. No wifi though only spotty public Telus wifi
Veronika Soloviova: Nice place with good atmosphere, very friendly staff and best coffee!
Nick Kazan: This place embodies the “Vancouver aesthetic”. It really fits well in Gastown in terms of the interior design but I also think the coffee is phenomenal. If you’re ever in the area, I would absolutely recommend stopping by here; there’s a good chance it might become your favourite coffee shop.

Kahve Coffee: what do users think?
Ryan Plamondon: Excellent customer service and great coffee ☕
MI Five: Wish there was zero stars. Got drip $2.50 plus tax 8 oz coffee in a tiny to go cup that she left 2.5 inches for cream. Had to tell her to fill up to top TWICE. I dont take creme sometimes...but it was strong and bitter so later I did. Left to have breakfast elsewhere as planned on sunny day. Noticed Sat 11am only 2 tables taken in whole place.Kitsfest 1x yr and missed past 3 yrs...Went back on another sunny Saturday 1130am and decided to sit outside on one of their two empty tables outside as its sunny (only 1 table taken inside). Picnic bags were breaking our injured backs as we both got sciatica and knee pain for past week and I woke up in alot of pain that morning (she has a worse old injury that reactivated and another issue which makes her stop every 100metres or so in pain!) but needed a change of pace as this was our 1st summer outing as a family.Kitsfest makes it easy to find zero parking so it was few blocks to get there. Decided to eat our heaviest item (melon) to lessen weight while discussing what we want to get for coffee because we love our coffee. This lady came out after 1 min and asked if my 80 yr old Mom and I were ordering something. Not even a "Hello." We said no and we we would leave right after we eat (because the place was empty but 1 table inside taken and this question irritated us!!!!). We told her our entire story. She replied said "this is our area"...so we told her we will sit on edge of street and asked her if its ok. She followed us and said yes!!! We had nowhere else to sit and rest our aches. I will never go back or recommend this business again! Ruined the start of our day. See Tony and Olgas reviews (no laptop use past 1 hr and bitter drip coffee).I hope the owners are ashamed and suffer the same uncaring non-huminatarian business only mindset when they are in pain, old or injured. Went to another coffee shop at end of day across from beach on the corner next to thai restaurant. Went inside and was greeted. Didnt buy anything. Rested on way home outide 10mins and they said nothing. No one sitting anywhere in or out. Busy as heck for to go orders. Got something on way out.
Deniz Soykurum Çetin: Hidden gem. Great coffee and nice place to have a conversation.

Andrew Scott: Best latte I’ve had. And the staff is so genuinely friendly. I come all the way from Toronto for this.
Rochelle Sneddon: Always an amazing Matcha Latte 😊
Jyotika Sroa: Their green tea is elite! Lovely, mild, smooth :)
Beezer333 Beezer333: This place has excellent latte/ flat white!I also love their displays of items for sale.Great customer service.👍👍👍
Mary Mcgugan: Exceptional espresso drinks, delicious sandwiches, great value, and the most personal, thoughtful and friendly customer service ever. Was visiting from Toronto and went every day I was in Kitsilano!! Cannot recommend highly enough !
Toby Lam: A cute local coffee shop with chic decor, unfortunately some parts of the shop look adhoc and unfinished, coffee is okay, and on display are sandwhich wrapped in saran wrap. More noteworthy is that they have signs that discourage laptop use for more than 1 hour.
Jacky Li: Great vibes. Food was good

Coffee Roastery Modus: what do users think?
Martin Vondruska: Omg what a treat. This is a diamond in the rough.Wonderful coffee and fantastic brunch. I had the Turkish egg thing… wowBusy street and the place is small but that doesn’t matter. The passion they put into the experience was worth it.
Ricky S: Been here several times. Coffee is normally fantastic, however went in today and the latte tasted very off, right from the first sip of the foam.Couldn't really tell if it was the coffee or the milk, so drank a bit more to get below the froth - still off. A few minutes later two staff members behind the counter were looking at two milk jugs and heard one saying one of the jugs "smelled really bad".Unclear if the two things were related, but suffice to say the rest of the mug was left untouched.
Jared Davis: Consistently great coffee and their kouign amann was the best I’ve ever had in the city. Friendly staff and wonderful roasted beans.
Hassan Askari: At Modus you are served utmost quality with humility. If you love coffee and good food, I mean, really really good food, served at a down-to-earth place by down-to-earth people, Modus will be a place you will visit regularly.

Lorene Faivre: I had a tasty decaf flat white with oat milk. Served in a nice cup and chill music vibes inside.
Jonathan Foote: Great espresso based coffee. They do pour overs as well. They have some limited, but tasty, breakfast options (served until 2 pm). Good atmosphere.

Jason Chan: Staff were friendly and explained the various blends on offer.
Yoshiko C.: Ordered a pour over recommended by a staff - latif from Nicaragua - but unfortunately it tasted green and flat. I don't know if it's not properly roasted or it's the way they present.Service was great but it's so packed inside. Not much privacy chatting with friends.
a z: Great coffee, high quality ingredients specifically the milk - top notch stuff. Mount Pleasant's new go to coffee shop for me!

Saddesh Gurikankar: I had the peanut butter banana pulled pork sandwich it was strange but I liked it
Manuel Ramos: Traveled here from Greeley, Colorado USA. I loved the atmosphere here! Everyone was very helpful and friendly! 10/10 I would highly recommend!
Emily: Such an awesome experience. Regardless of myself greening out after my first volcano, the server Lex was absolutely AMAZING. Jason Wolfe: In 1998, I watched a guy at the bar reach right while looking left, pinch a pile of sticky green bud in a folded rolling paper, mash it around and twist it into a cone shaped joint, in one continuous motion, as he drew it to his lips, cracking a flame on his lighter with his left hand and inhaling in perfectly on tempo. I fell in love with this place after that, and my first bowl of coffee.
Atmosferas 360: Buena atención.Service: 5/5 …More
B: This was a long time ago, but extremely rude owner (or whoever was handeling the bar at that time) and intolerant to people with mental disabilities. I was once waiting there for a date and he demanded pay for something right away, then instead of politely telling me to give him more change for my drink, he screamed at me. Never going again.
Rachel Mendes: This is literally the coolest place ever. The music was spot on, the vibes were immaculate, the staff were incredible, food was delicious - the whole concept is legendary. 1000000 stars. Will absolutely be back next time I visit BC. 3
Avnash Maan: Trash establishment. Grilled cheese is their only menu item and disgusting, runny milkshakes. This place is gross from the inside out. Save yourself the time and just smoke literally anywhere else. Also, the management is laughable at how socially inept they are. I don’t think I’ve encountered stupider people in my entire life.
Jaime Gerardo Mota: It is a bad expirience because they charge for everything.
Christine Morillo: Recommended dishes Grilled CheeseMore
Rye Guy: Great place to chill and toke for a few or lounge all night and enjoy the food and music. I've been coming here for years before blunt brothers burned down. Always a great atmosphere and everyone is super helpful.
Mark Rentie: Good tree. Lady rude at night asking if we were customers because we needed to use the restroom. And fyi I was a customer twice that day.

Black Echo Coffee: what do users think?
Shonnah: Really cool concept of a clothing store with a coffee counter in the middle. Barista was pretty nice and their espresso will give you the pick me up you need - it’s strong. I got an oat milk flat white and I like how the oat milk tasted unsweetened, I’d say some might even need sugar added. It’s not a place to chat with friends, but it’s a good place for a grab and go drink!
Roxi Dykstra: Such a bad cappuccino I needed to rinse my mouth out. What a disappointment. Wasn't cheap either. Too bad as I love supporting locally owned/operated places. Don't recommend unless you want to shop for clothes and maybe get a non-coffee drink? (and skip the cookies; they're overpriced)
Nima Ab: Bought roasted coffee with butter! Damn! it's so good:) I loved it, period.
Nick Boparai: Hole on the wall coffee/clothing shop. Had an Iced Americano there with their beans which were butter roasted. The coffee was very enjoyable, and the staff were also very nice to talk to and friendly. I would definitely recommend trying this place out.
Siyun Yi: Entrance is inside another entrance. Friendly service. Shopping & Coffee.
Qhalisa Khan: Amazing ambiance and service! What a cute find
Ruby Swan: Burnt milk, shots poorly pulled... definitely the worst cappuccino I've had in Vancouver. The only reason to visit this place is to check out the owner's artwork, which is gorgeous. Otherwise - skip it!
Ross Dingwall: Served me a mean Latte!
Paul Lightfoot: Wow, keen to try new places and the reviews were good. We ordered two lattes but they were so bad. Couldn’t work out if it was the beans or the milk. Unfortunately couldn’t recommend this place.
Solana Cheng: Great coffee, hard to find (it's inside a clothing store), good value for the coffee tho!
Paulina Piesik: The iced Spanish latte was divine 💖
Joe Watson: Best coffee experience in Yaletown
Natalia Gubareva: Want to find the best place for coffee in Yaletown?! This is it! Hard to find but oh man, when you do, it's sooooo good.
Simon Howells: I had high hopes as I'd read some of the other reviews on here. The coffee was really burnt and tasted horrible, I ended up having two sips and pouring it away.
shlee a: So so
Andy B: Coffee beans roasted in butter. Yummmmm. Cafe within a store...
Sebastian Rakowski: Good coffee, tucked away inside a clothing store.
Ryan Spenard: BEST. DAMN. COFFEE. EVER.EVER.

Bel Café: what do users think?
Abdulla AlNaqbi: Good for snacks and coffeeFood: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Megha Weerasekera: Don't miss the Hazelnut praline!
liu jiayi: Good coffee and desserts. The rice in the salmon sushi salad is very substandard, don't order it.
MFSN Rep: Friendly counter staff. Their breakfast Kale wrap was incredible. I'll be back tomorrow
Remi Vienneau: Ordered a latte, americano, their breakfast sandwich and a salmon bagel. Totalled about $28 and it was really good. The latte was well crafted, americano was nice and rich and the food was great for the value. Located on the street front of one of the nicer hotels in the area, we crossed the street from ours to get there around the Art Gallery. Cool atmosphere with some fun music playing - I’ll be back!
John Cummins: Great sandwiches
Natalia Petlitsyna: Wonderful stuff, delicious pastries, amazing coffee!Thank you guys!
E K: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Phoebe Cho: One of the best cafes in town! Scones here are my favorite. They also offer amazing matcha tea latte.
William Currie: Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 2/5More
Tommy Vercetti: Ordered dark choco mocha. Drink itself is fine. Seating could have been better. Requires more options on the menu. Good location though.
Joy Rowe: i went to use a very old giftcard and got kind and thoughtful problem-solving from staff. tasty food. i found the raspberry pistacio croissant tasty but also way too much rasberry jam - buy a scone or something to spread the extra jam on cuz you won't want to waste it. very deliciousFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
D: Flies all over products. Unacceptable level of sanitation considering products on display.
Desiree Gabriel: The atmosphere in this cafe is very cute! Not a lot of space, which makes the line between cozy and crowded thin. The matcha latte was not flavourful enough and my london fog did the job, but the cake I had was wonderful and so cute! My cousin got a grilled cheese which was underwhelming, especially for $10?? When he realized there was a soup and grilled cheese sandwich special for the same price, it was too late when he asked if he could get a small bowl of soup. Overall the experience was quite varied between my friends, cousin, and I, hence the 3 star review.
Stella Oh: Their soups are always amazing! Chicken noodle soup, tomato soup, try them all! They offer a $10 tomato soup & grilled cheese sandwich combo on Wednesdays (or so I’ve heard). Finding seating is a bit tricky during lunch hours on weekdays as their space is so small. There’s probably no more than 8 round tables.
Dan Turnbull: Great food, great coffee, wonderful staff.
Nirav Modi: Coffee and ambiance was really nice. We wanted to try hazelnut latte but they didn't have that as they frequently change some of items from their menu. Instead we tried Spanish latte, it was worth it!
James Marshall: Great food, good service, and decent coffee, but very dirty. Lots of buildup on all the counters, front and back, and dust everywhere. Not great considering the high prices.
N. PComplete: The coffee is good!!! The food is good! However, They don't have their own wifi, so there's room for improvement. Still, I'll be back for the coffee alone.Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Houra Tabatabaei: Good atmosphere, and very good hot drinkFood: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Kafka's Coffee and Tea: what do users think?
K N: Shawarma was on point
Derek Ulrich: Get the choco cookie with rosemary
Samantha Satish: I love this spot! Delicious breakfast sandwiches and great coffee
Taylor Webber: Good but overpriced.
Chosen: There was a strong caucasian body odor smell that I couldn’t get away from… it completely prevented me from enjoying the coffee. I told the staff as well, but they had no air freshener
Kat Benner: Great spot. Awesome staff.
Emma Clark: Coffee was great, breakfast sandwich was nice too, but a little pricey
Maïté Ledig: Lovely staff, good coffee and great atmosphere!
Isaak Skinner: As a place for coffee, Kafka is great! Their baked goods selection is limited, but Lil Bird Sandwiches shared the same location if you are hungry. Nothing about their interior would make me want to stay and chill inside, but happy to take their coffee to go
park boram: I love there coffee! Some bakery goods are okay.
Neil Miller: The place looks awesome, machines look awesome but the barista must have had an off day as the espresso shot was extremely sour. Shame, I'll have to go back when she's not working.
Henry Peters: Seriously, go to this place and get the Corned Beef Breakfast sandwich… it’s quite literally the best breakfast sandwich this side of the Michigan river
Zack Wolfe: Delicious, messy sandwiches.
Joe Brown: Love this place! Great coffee, pour overs to die for, and staff that are very kind. Kafkas for the win!
JENNIFER THOMPSON: Wifi is limited. Coffee is OK. Location is great. Atmosphere is ok.
Thịnh Phan: Awesome cafe for study. They have big table and good drink/food selection. Food prices are a bit pricey.
Prerna Sharma: Gibraltar is amazing!!
Paul: One of the best coffee shops in town, also was able to get a tasty avocado toast while I was there. I wish they had more vegan pastries, but they had an amazing carrot muffin, so I can't really complain.
Bil Kanawati: Excellent pour over (and pretty quick!), super friendly staff, and an overall great vibe. Would recommend.
Rob Scope: Great local independent Cafe. Delicious coffee, amazing sandwiches and friendly staff.
Barb Weeden: Excellent Gibraltar!
