Valentina Arias: Awesome place to study for certificates or diplomas in Vancouver. I have been studying for six months and it is an amazing experience, while I'm studying, working, and enjoying the Vancouver life. Besides this year the students are available to work more than 20 hours, which makes this experience better. If I recommend this college? Yes, I do, the teachers have a lot of experience in the industry that they are teaching, which means that you will have a big perspective of the industry when you get a co-op job.

Langara College: what do users think?
A G: My partner attends school here. The curriculum is TOP tier, and the Proffessors are very approachable. She is stressed, only because the possibilities for our future are SO great. Her class is similar to the course at UBC. And THAT is amazing.
Kay Matthew: For all the money they make in International Student tuition they sure don't put that money back into their staffing. The administration staff are terrible and have zero customer service skills. I guess working with International students who don't understand rudeness has created this weird acceptance among the staff that they are superior to their students. This school needs a major overhaul to match the beautiful campus and potential they have. Get your education and get out. No one walks around the world proud to be a Langara alumni, and that's pretty sad.
Thomas Yemane: Great instructors for math, physics, chemistry, was a regular at the Tim Hortons, big fan of the gorgeous T building.
B A: Outstanding institute
Kenneth Lai: The staff is friendly and helpful.
Arshit Verma: Worst college. Worst decision to get in here. Teachers doesn’t know how to teach , they make the easy concept by teaching it in a boring way. Even they do partiality. Also the courses of your programme are never available so no fun of choosing your programme because you never get your course. This college is nothing else but just a source of extra stress in your life. Never chose this college especially if you’re an international students.
Derrick Man: There are amazing and some bad instructors (some just read word-by-word from lecture slides and fail to explain the concepts).Since September 2021, if you send an EMAIL to some departments (Business, Registration...), they will respond: “We are experiencing a high volume of emails” or “We are experiencing a heavier load of emails” and will respond to your email within 2-14 business days. The business department used to not accept in-person service and didn’t allow students to walk into their department. One time, I tried walking into the business department. I heard people (Langara employees) inside laughing, chilling, and talking around with other employees. When I walked in, they were completely silent (lol), and they kicked me out of their department. They told me to send them an email (bruh, I sent them emails, and they never responded)No FOOD Options. Langara only has Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Triple O, and Subway. Those are considered basic food options (what a college is supposed to have). How are you supposed to survive 2+ years with these food options? 😂😂 You have to take a bus to Fraser in order to get more food options.TEXTBOOKS: When you don’t want to buy textbooks, or you borrow a textbook from a friend, they still force you to buy a package (ex: Pearson MyLab) that comes/includes the textbook. You don’t have the option to get a package that doesn’t include a textbook. If you don’t buy that package, you can LOSE 5-100% of your FINAL Grade.⚠️⚠️⚠️ Be CAREFUL when you walk to/from school at NIGHT. It’s pretty dark, and there are no pedestrian lights. I almost TRIPPed a few times while walking there. I already reported to the school, and they haven’t taken action.B Building is like a prison. Need to improve the design of classrooms and the building.Course Selection: there are few elective courses (easy to ok difficulty level).
HappyGirl1989: Oh boy, where do I start and how I can explain this. I am current kinesiology student, I wanted to know if my creative writing classes count as a prerequisite for kin 1150. The Dean of the department told me that is not a prerequisite for English 1123. I contacted the English department Noel Currie who is the advising for English courses. I showed her my creative writing classes, she gave me an override and waived it for me. I try to register for kin 1150 no success. I contacted the same person who is part of the English advising department. She doesn't even know why it’s doing this to me, she told me to contact the registers office. I call the registers office they put me on hold for over 5 minutes. I hang up and call back, they looked at my profile and told me that a prerequisite override has nothing to do with meeting the prerequisites of English 1123. This is only for if you do not get into the classes for English 1123 or any other type of English class. I am not sure what words to explain on how angry and disgusted I am on behalf of this entire college. I hope everyone is reading this and do not come here, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. Don’t end up in the same boat like me, this is ridicule and unacceptable. Oh and to end my review, one kin prof called my message a spam. I think your whole college is a spam, take that Langara!
Paras Paras: They take 3 times more money from international students but no special efforts are made for new comers and they are expected to be at the level of domestic students who are used to the education system. Overall all of colleges and universities work together to loot international students which is how they've built the structures of their building.
David Balkanyi: Langara College is like Flair Airlines too bad for the few nice instructors
Sabrina Chang: Langara College owns a relatively small campus but still with beautiful architecture and views.
LV Long: They just want the $$$$
gurpartap singh: Very nice college
Jaskaran Jaskaran: Worst college.
giao alan: trash
Hòa Đoàn: When I had to study in an environment at Langara College, I felt very negative because of the way the teacher's teaching caused. Teachers are the first to be born, I feel very dissatisfied because of the teacher's actions. Of course, it was not only the teachers who spoke badly, but Langara University itself influenced me, the school took a lot of money from me and my friends. In my opinion you should not attend this school.
Abo Tufano: Langara has been freshly renewed so that now it can compete with other more famous public colleges of British Columbia.
Eren Yeager: Management is awful here at this school. Amazing teachers though.
Harpreet Singh: One of the worst ever college especially for international students because they just want your money. This college never respond to any application enquiry. They will tell you that general timeline is 4 to 6 weeks for application processing even after 12+ weeks no response from their side.
Tammy Young: Went to school here was a wonderful experience some of the best moments I have spent in my life was here. Some nostalgic moments never leave you I will always remember you my college!
Robin Brenner: Good College

Stenberg College: what do users think?
John Min: Melissa Watt was great assisting, collecting info. Much appreciated
mujtabaa saloojee: I feel compelled to share my unfortunate experience as an employer who hired nursing students from Stenburg Nursing College. As someone who values professionalism, competence, and dedication, I must say that my encounter with students from this institution left a lot to be desired.First and foremost, the nursing students from Stenburg Nursing College lacked the fundamental skills and knowledge necessary to perform their duties effectively. It was evident that the curriculum at this college failed to adequately prepare them for the practical aspects of nursing. Their lack of basic clinical skills was not only disappointing but also posed a risk to the patients under their care. Moreover, the work ethic demonstrated by these nursing students was subpar, to say the least. They consistently arrived late for their shifts, displayed a lack of initiative, and often seemed disinterested in the work they were assigned. This attitude not only reflected poorly on the college but also undermined the reputation of our organization.Furthermore, communication skills, an essential aspect of nursing, were severely lacking among the students from Stenburg Nursing College. They struggled to convey information effectively, leading to misunderstandings and errors in patient care. It was frustrating to witness their inability to communicate with patients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals, hindering the smooth functioning of our team. The supervision provided by the college during clinical placements was also woefully inadequate. The instructors seemed disengaged and uninterested in the progress and development of the students. The lack of mentorship and guidance resulted in a stagnant learning environment, where students were left to figure things out on their own, often with detrimental consequences. In addition to these significant shortcomings, the administrative staff at Stenburg Nursing College displayed a remarkable level of disorganization and apathy. They were unresponsive to our inquiries and failed to address our concerns regarding the quality of their students' performance. The lack of professionalism and accountability from the college's administration only added to our disappointment.Overall, my experience as an employer who hired nursing students from Stenburg Nursing College was deeply unsatisfactory. The students' lack of skills, poor work ethic, ineffective communication, and inadequate supervision highlight significant flaws within the institution's curriculum and administration. As an employer, I expect nursing students to be well-prepared, enthusiastic, and capable of delivering quality care. Unfortunately, Stenburg Nursing College failed to meet these basic expectations, making it difficult for me to recommend them to other employers seeking competent and reliable nursing professionals.I sincerely hope that Stenburg Nursing College takes these criticisms constructively and makes the necessary improvements to ensure that their students are adequately trained to meet the demands of the healthcare industry.
helina hagos: As a former student in the nursing program, I had a disappointing experience at this school. Unfortunately, there were several issues that made it difficult to learn and succeed.Firstly, the organization was poor. There always seemed to be a shortage of supplies, and the classroom was very small. Additionally, the computer lab was not up to standard.Furthermore, I found that some of the teachers were ignorant and lacked knowledge in their subject matter. Despite this, they acted as if they were experts, which was frustrating. The practicum schedule was often sent out at the last minute, which caused unnecessary stress and uncertainty. And when it came to clinical instruction, there were several problems. Some of the instructors were unprofessional and disrespectful, speaking about college employees and students' personal lives in a manner that was inappropriate. In addition, some instructors displayed racist behavior towards certain students.Overall, as a nursing student, I cannot recommend this school based on my experience. It's important to have a learning environment that is organized and professional, and unfortunately, this was not the case here
Hillary Burge: Stenberg College is one of the best in my chosen field, Therapeutic Recreation Assistant Diploma. They did not disappoint! The materials are thorough and truly prepared me for the field. There was an overwhelming offering of support by all of the instructors, which made assignments and projects not only easy enough to complete, but fun as well! I was able to complete courses completely online, which caused minimal disruption to my busy life (I could still work full time and take care of my family at home!). The staff at the university did a great job with getting my cohort set up online so that we were all familiar with the online format and how things work. I would highly recommend Stenberg to anyone who is considering their next career!
Kerry Young: I am now in my 3rd semester of 8 for the Registered Psychiatric Nursing. When I am done I will have an amazing career for the rest of my life. There are so many areas to work in. It’s unbelievable. I had no idea about all of the different opportunities within the nursing field. It’s not all 12 hour shifts. There are many 830-430 positions available as well. Thank you Stenberg for being here for me. This is a program that I would tell anyone to get into.
Liliana Maria Quintero Franco: If you're looking for an excellent Health Care Assistant program, look no further than Stenberg College. I recently completed the program and couldn't be happier with my experience. The instructors were knowledgeable, the curriculum was comprehensive, and the hands-on training was invaluable. The clinical placements provided me with real-world experience and helped me feel confident in my skills. The staff and faculty were friendly and supportive, and the community at Stenberg College is truly exceptional. I highly recommend the HCA program at Stenberg College to anyone looking to start or advance their career in healthcare.
Li Tan: Absolutely disgusted with how unprofessional and not friendly the staff was….(needless to say….I felt unwelcomed!!!!)…. when I enquired about a program!….don’t need the attitude….& seriously!!!!….the program is NOT cheap!!! Unprofessional!!!!….she couldn’t even fake it!!!…Amy Owen!!!….don’t deal with!!!!!!
B: I had Jenna and Ayne as my teachers for the care aide program and they both were fantastic! They definitely made it worthwhile to learn from them.
Oksana Y: I recently graduated from the Registered Psychiatric Nursing program. Before applying, I was hesitant about going back to school. I had a lot of doubts. I am very happy that I reached out to the school, and I was not disappointed. Being an immigrant, I thought it would take me years to take classes equivalent to Canadian education, and I was lost. From day one, I felt supported during my application. I received all the guidance I needed before starting my program. The whole program went by so fast! Of course, as with any student's experience, there were times when extra strength was required. Any time I needed support, it was easy to reach out to the faculty. The online program may seem scary, but our instructors were professionals and made our online classes great. The college makes sure that you are set up for success. The program is designed perfectly for all kinds of lifestyles. I could work full-time and study simultaneously without having to quit my job or lose the quality in my studying.During my program, I've met many wonderful and inspiring people. If you are hesitant about applying, apply!! No one will be forcing you! You will be provided with knowledge and opportunities, and then you can decide what you want to do! Right after I graduated, I started working full-time hours. I also passed my RPN exam right after my graduation without any difficulties.I am grateful for my seat in the program and the opportunity to follow my dream of helping others.Thank you, Stenberg College!
Keeping it reals: I cannot recommend the RDPN program enough! It was the best decision I have ever made in terms of advancing my nursing career. I did the LPN access program and enjoyed every step along the way. I really enjoyed the hybrid curriculum delivery which allowed me a ton of flexibility with work and family. I learned so much and now I have the job of my dreams. Sounds so cliché but its totally true. The instructors were amazing and worked hard to ensure our success. Stenberg always went above and beyond, and they constantly strive to improve by asking students how they can do better. THANK YOU Stenberg College for making this awesome nursing program accessible to all who are willing to work hard to realize theirs dreams.
k kezama: Was honestly very disappointed with this school for the amount of money you pay for the program. Not only was I almost denied access into the first aid program but teachers were just not very helpful through out the course and would take a very long time to get back to you. When it came to practicum placements, most places give you a say in it but this school was not and both schools I was sent to were very challenging. The first school I was very well supported by the college staff member supervising me but at the second school I was very bullied and judged the entire time. I wasn’t given a very good evaluation based on lies and speculations, there was no conversations with me and no giving the benefit of the doubt. This almost cost me getting a career in the field I studied for. These issues should have been dealt with by the college but they didn’t do anything and expected me to just accept it all. Anyways I wouldn’t recommend.
Asley Pinto: We were told that our peers was the best group of class they ever had. Stenberg is amazing and all the instructors were wonderful and helped us build the confidence we needed to become a successful MLA.MLAD-0122
yaa adutwumwaa owusu-ansah: Harman Dhesi has been great to me. She has good reception and has good interpersonal relationships with her students. She principled, firm, friendly, respectful and above all shows care and very compassionate. Because of her good characteristics I was sure I can sustain it in Canada aside all the difficulties I went through. Harman I am grateful to you.
Bene: My appointment with Harman today was great. Conversation went well and was truthful with what was in her scope that, she could help with and what wasn't. Liked her service today.
Cleyfi Archila: I took the Recreation Therapy Assistant program with Stenberg and it was an amazing experience! After I did some research and learned about the RTA program and that Stenberg college offered it I did not hesitate to call them and get more information. I enrolled in the October 2021 to September 2022 program and it was a good choice! I highly recommend others to do their schooling at Stenberg college it is a great college and the instructors are great people. I’m so glad I found this college and took the RTA program there.
Jamie Singson: My decision to enroll at Stenberg College for the Medical Laboratory Assistant was the best decision. It was a great and fun experience. From the start until the end of my program, professors/instructors and coordinators are very supportive. 3rd week of my practicum I got interviewed and got the job offer before my practicum ends. The professors taught us not just the technical stuff of being an MLA but being professional and great in our chosen career. I'm a proud Stenberg graduate!
gbade obasa: My name is Oluwatoyin Obasa. Trying to get into the HCA program. It wasn't easy as an international student, but having Harman Dhesi as my adviser made the journey so smooth an easy, she's just a beautiful soul.
Baljinder Dhesi: I began my journey 10 months ago with Stenberg College and it’s been very busy juggling my family, my job and college but finishing this June taught me that if you start something and preserve with it, you can actually finish it too! I had the support from my family and friends and when I had moments that I couldn’t go on, people’s faces would pop up and what encouragement they would give, would give me the positive energy to keep going! Also knowing that if my mum and dad were alive they would be super proud of me. On my course, I’ve met some incredible women that bring their own stories of what made them decide to do the course and we all encouraged each other to get through the busy time, the instructors were so good at what they do, they brought real life experience and knowledge with them and were very approachable for any help in understanding any course content, there’s always support with your work and time management too! It’s a great school and if you want to advance in your life, this is the way to do it! Just take a chance, put 150% effort in and that’s what you will get right back. The practicums were also a great experience, met some wonderful people and was encouraged from the get go, was made to feel welcome and part of the team! My mentor was real, she really understood me and praised me when I did good and was able to give me guidance on things I was yet to experience. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
maryam moghaddam: I lost everything when I had to leave my homeland. I had tried for years for the situation I was in, and just when I wanted to see the fruits of my labor, I was forced to leave Iran. I never believed in Canada I could stand on the same ladder as I did in Iran. I was an educational management graduate and wanted to study and work in a related field. Still, I was afraid I could not continue my education despite having three children. Stenberg College made it possible for me to study online and graduate in a short time. During my studies, they helped me write a resume and the job search process. Almost a month after graduating, I was accepted into my first job interview and hired full-time. I am happy and proud of a year when I studied hard and tried to reach this day. I owe this beautiful feeling to my family for supporting me and my dear teacher Jill Hammer, who gave me so much hope.
Mary Toote: I’ve always been interested in the field of science so there’s no surprise that I envisioned myself working in the healthcare system from the very beginning. I found Stenberg College through my own personal research online. I initially contacted Stenberg College a year or two before I entered their Cardiology Technology program. Stenberg was very determined in recruiting me into their program and let’s just say it has been not only an incredible but unforgettable experience with the school and the program. I admit that I was initially nervous about not only learning online but having such a condensed packed course. However, this was quickly overcome by the amount of support from my lecturers and the school’s willingness to always being accessible to the students and their questions and concerns. Stenberg College in itself provided a great support system for the students through providing engaging resources and fundamental learning opportunities not only for the curriculum itself but they also promoted students need for a positive and engaging environment. You were never without support especially when it pertained to mental awareness. The amount of support and feedback I got from each of my lecturers was always constructive and positive. Each one of the lecturers had their own way of finding new ways to grasp the curriculum and embracing each student different way of leaning which made it so much easier to learn and understand. I would especially like to thank the Halifax lab course team whom provided a safe and respectful environment where we could learn and ask questions. This team provided teaching that allowed me to not only be confident in myself but in my role. They exuded professionalism and genuine care and interest while also being forthcoming with expectations of how they want for us to be successful. I am also happy to say that these individuals continue to advise and mentor me even now and I continue to admire their dedication.I also want to highlight Jonathan Aquino. He is one of the most incredible lecturers I’ve ever met in my academic journey. He has provided such an interesting and fun way of learning that I will forever be grateful to him. From the very beginning he was very passionate about the program and teaching. Jonathan seemed to know at every step how to prepare the course material and how to communicate it effectively. I’ve never met an individual that was able to convey the material and methods in such innovative ways, it is astounding. He went above and beyond the call of duty when it came to helping students and holding office hours. He was always enthusiastic, interactive and engaging. Jonathan not only provided excellent communication but always challenged and motivated the students to attain or exceed their goals. I can without a doubt say that if it wasn’t for his quality of teaching and his utmost faith in me as a student I don’t think I could’ve gone as far as I did without his support.Overall my experience with Stenberg College not only provided the foundation I needed to be successful in the completion of the program but to also allow me to exceed each and every one of my goals I had when I began. I am thankful for the institution’s magnitude of wanting to exceed expectations for each student and in my experience they have.
JiHee Lee: I would highly recommend stenberg college.Great programs and amazing instructors.I was able to get a job right away during my practicum ,Learning online wasn’t as hard as I thought it’d be.I’m so happy with my decision :)

Vancouver College: what do users think?
FlyingChicken: overrated
Clarence Javelli: 2 kids from vc Elvan planas and Matthew Sarmiento Bullied me throughout high school I don’t recommend sending your kid here if you want them depressed send them to stm good community
OPU Prakash: biased to some Asian students!
Lin Flanagan: Annual Mayfair celebration, school bands, football, food court and games and thrift sale. Good fun !
Akhil Modi: Good 👍
Jonathan Overton: Best school in all the 🌎’s10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Average teacher rating 5/5
Ben V: Went to this school from K-12. The brotherhood, clubs, and environment made it like a second home and left me with many great memories. However - like most Catholic schools - VC is moving in a less Catholic direction these days. Still, without Encounter, Debate, and the HPC, I wouldn't be me.
oknatedawg: i love it here, shout to my buddy jerard paiso and ethan cajigas
Rock Commen: A lot of smart students here. There is a bullying problem among some grades that is worse than public schools. I also don't think the school is as "Catholic" as it should be (some former students agree). It leans more towards being a sports school nowadays.
Aren Bal: Sicko mode
joe jenkins: best school
Ron J: Fantastic private boys school that is strong in faith and building good character.
Frank Nishi: Great School
Griffin Hamilton-Wong: Great school
Bosco Toa: Excellent school in academic, sports n attitude training.
antoni iorizz: What can I say? School maintenance is a solid 9/10. Classrooms can accommodate all class sizes. Teachers range from 6/10 0 - 9/10, average teacher is 8/10 imo. Pretty decent course selection for anyone not interested in going into trades (tons of maths and sciences w/ a few AP options). The community is welcoming to everyone. Overall not a bad choice for anyone interested in sports or anyone trying to get into UBC sciences.
YeWric Production: Benry Hudai
Declan Bostock: I am very happy with my experience at this school.
Michael Kan: Nope.
Peter P: BR. WM. BARNES WAS OUTSTANDING. MANY FROM THE CLASS OF 1963 DID WELL IN VARIOUS PROFESSIONS AND BUSINESS. PETER J.M. PALLESEN, CALGARY, ALBERTA.
