Failed to use the correct words, we asked for clarification and her attitude was like she doesn't want to be there. She took a pause and her face reads judgement on us for not understanding her. No patience, not helpful.Got our email wrong, ended up not re entering one for our receipt.We wanted to check if our email was even entered, got a shoulder shrug and a smile saying "not my problem".

Nicky M: We wanted to get a $2500 TV with a price match on its own Best Buy website of $2200.The Senior Associate “S” in Home Theatre lied to us that she could do the price match.Once we ready to pay, she added up accessories and the protection plan that we didn’t want to our bill.I understand she wanted to sell to Protection Plan and accessory. But Instead of being honest and introduce everything, she added them to the bill without our consent when we ready to pay.We didn’t figure out the calculations right away and already took out our credit card. We know there’s tax on the $2200 TV so few more hundred dollars on top seemed making sense.After we really looked at the computer screen, we found out S added all costs to us and how unethical she tried to do the business.It’s is Best Buy, you don’t do business like this. Each staff represents the Company.Be honest to sell!She was angry and left the counter right after we caught her trick.Of course we didn’t get the TV and also wasted an hour of our time.FYI, my wife was the Operation Manager.

Cally Aura: Came here after the Metrotown location employee had smooth brains and told be to look up what inventory they had because he was too lazy to help me.This location at Marine Drive saved the day. I placed an order online, then went and picked it up. I arrived, felt a bit sketchy going up a weird parking lot at night to get to the entrance, but once I got in the team at the pickup counter and the Geek squad were super helpful with answering my questions and helped me bring my brew purchase outside to my car.If you want actual help, it’s worth coming to this location. Avoid the Station Square/Metrotown location.

Melissa Boulanger: Since you can't leave a review for their online sales exclusively I'll leave this here since it's the closest Best Buy to me. Purchased an item online to have it shipped to my address. They use Purolater as the shipping company who apparently doesn't leave shipping notices if they are unable to leave the package in the receiver's hands. And as Best Buy didn't provide a phone number for Purolater to call me at I was left with a package in limbo. Called Best Buy who told me to call Purolater of course and Purolater tells me the package is somewhere in their warehouse and will take upwards of 48 hours to track down and send back out. Totally unacceptable. When requesting the whole thing be cancelled and I just pick it up in store instead it was impossible. I was told I had to wait the 48 hours for Purolater to track it down and return it to Best Buy who would then take 3-5 business days to give me money back. So about a week's wait with no product and to get my money back. This is some of the worst pass the buck customer service I have ever experienced. And then the supervisor from Best Buy hangs up on you when you state your disbelief about how I can be out the product and my money with no resolution. Lesson learned, I will never order from Best Buy again.

I ended up buying one of their Source-brand chairs, much less expensive than some of the others I'd seen reviewed. They delivered it fully assembled with special wheels that won't scuff wood floors. The seat seemed very slightly tilted to the left in the first few days I tried it, and they sent a technician to my house within 36 hours to fix it. He was lovely, fixed it in 10 minutes or less, and now it's great. You wouldn't get that from Staples, Ikea etc.

Rob Aleong: Inquired about some products listed as "in stock" on their website. All sales associates were not available to give me a quote so I got a quote from an admin. They didn't go over the product or ask me what my needs were. I ended up ordering desks and chairs all from their in stock section of their website, as I did express I needed the items immediately, which is why I was ordering from that section. They mentioned that thier in-stock items typically shipped 2 weeks after the order was placed...but I'm sure if they actually had stock. So at time of ordering I offered to pickup instead as warehouse was local to me.So products were not in stock and the sales associate said they would transfer them in immediately and pickup would be later that week. Pickup ended up being 2 weeks after I ordered, and the entire shipment wasn't complete. Seems like they are just resellers of someone elses products and dont physically have any inventory or have a good handle of what their on hand inventory is. They insisted on payment up front in order to secure my product this seemed off because they didn't actually have the product. So all in all i had to pay a freight courier twice for pickup instead of once because of not all the products being in stock and severely delayed the moving and setup of our new offices. The main reason of me making this purchase was that the items were available when I initially made the call. I'm unhappy with the way I was lied to about promised availability dates, as well as no effort whatsoever to try and rectify the solution for me cost wise (ie offering to pay for the 2nd pickup/delivery). We are in need of much more office furniture and will be buying elsewhere.

D N: Very happy with my electric sit stand table! Although it took a little longer to arrive than some alternatives you see available on line, the warranty is much better and I have the peace of mind of a solid local business that has been around for decades in case I need support. The technician that brought and installed the table was quick, efficient and very careful to complete the job without damaging anything despite the very tight space to assemble the product. I highly recommend BuyRite! I’m happy to have stopped by their store to see alternatives and bring home samples of table top finishes to ease the process!

They are also the only company I've dealt with recently who take away all the boxes & garbage when they are done with the job as well. Most seem to just leave you to deal with it.

She helped us make trade-offs and gave us good advice along the way. TheRealM: Got a really nice chair here courtesy of icbc. They customize chairs for your personal needs that's made to your height and width specifications so you get the optimal support from a chair. Aside from chairs they also have a lot of other ergonomical items like desk raisers, footstools, keyboard and mice all gear towards ergonomic comfort for when you're in the office, or just at home working. Great place to check out and get stuff. The items I'll be it pricey, but definitely worth it! People there are very friendly and very accommodating. Appointments are required to go view their shop, so make one either on their website or by phone. Check out their site for other cool things! Also, for chairs you can customize color as well as material that it's made from. Color customizing is free, but material change is an additional cost.

Sheldon George: We demoed the SpinaliS chairs for two weeks and decided to purchase two of them. We were allowed to keep the demo chairs until our custom ordered SpinaliS chairs came in a few weeks later. The staff at Chairlines were excellent! They gave instruction on how to use the chairs, sitting posture, sitting height, standing versus sitting and even demoed a couple of different desk options. We ended up purchasing a riser for both of our laptops, which has made a huge difference in our sitting posture. Our suffering from back pain has almost diminished and it’s only been a little over a month. It was worth every dollar spent coming to Chairlines!

Megan Nicholls: Bought a chair, armrest, keyboard and mouse for my WFH setup from this team recently. Wish I had thought of them before buying a standing desk elsewhere. They are v knowledgeable and the showroom is great for trying things out. Their return / exchange policy is good too! Jenna and Mary are so sweet and patient, I had a billion questions but they answered them all with grace. Only thing I would say is (like any shopping experience) make sure you double check the details on your order and product when you pick up / receive it. There are a lot of options on some of the products and it's an investment so make sure you get all the details right and ask lots of questions if you're not sure. Also there have been shipping delays lately (no fault of Chairlines, it's across the board) so be patient for your purchase to come in - the wait will be worth it! I would recommend this store to anyone for sure. My WFH setup is now super sweet, plus the pieces (eg chair) are really good quality, so I don't think I will need to go back there for a while for my WFH-setup, but I will be back soon probably to upgrade my office-office :D.

Chui: If u r like me, hoping to have good advice. You will be disappointed. You better off buy it from the supplier directly because they have good testing period and return policy. I spent over $1K on my chair and wished that i had ordered it directly from the supplier. Do your research! I didn’t have time to do it and relied upon Chairlines to give me advice. My advice: Make sure u deal with a supplier with good return policy and testing period.

Saw three that we liked (three more than all of the other stores) and had Harald help us. He was great. Hung back until he saw we were ready to ask questions and reviewed all the pros and cons of the models we were looking at. Very knowledgeable and gave us a great deal on the floor models. We love the product and the service. Highly recommend.

P Kwok: It was a nightmare in recent purchase in Industial Revoluyion Furniture. We paid the dining table, delivery and assembly fee in full in advance. Then in the delivery day, the installers didn't bring the needed hardware for the table assembly. So the table was just left unassembled at our home. We asked the installer to come back with the hardware to complete the assembly but no feedback. The shop asked us to go to their place to pick up used hardware but at the expense of our time. It is totally no customer service and just put the burden of other faults on us, the customer. Totally disappointed and frustrated.

Marc was really helpful and professional with my search and ordered the stools for me through the manufacturer. Delivery was suppose to take 4 weeks and it arrived in one week. I picked up my order at Industrial Revolution and the staff unboxed the stools for easier transport and also disposed/recycled the packing material for me. Great after sales service. I searched online and checked out a few office furniture stores and found Impact Furniture. They had quite a large selection of sit-stand tables. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and told me that they can do custom sizes for almost no extra fee. Got my table custom sized and delivered in about 4 weeks. If your company is in need of a top class business to outfit your firm with furniture I would not hesitate to call Impact. With upcoming events my company expanded within our building location and was assured deadlines were going to be met, Impact delivered that promise. I had custom furniture fitted into our building after discussion of lead times and measurements were taken by Impact. They always confirmed everything with me including blueprints and order acknowledgments as I like to be involved which was great. Beyond anything else I was impressed they had offered me rental workstations for our expanded area which was delivered and installed/removed by their team who I thought had a professional presence. This allowed our employee’s to get back to work temporarily until the final product arrived. At the finish of things I was glad to have done business, therefore thank you once again everyone at Impact Office.

Both computers were out of stock and there was no notification to the customer that they were out of stock or display only. When i asked if its possible to have a discount on the floor model- he said no, but that he would give me a free warranty. I walked away, was a shame because i was willing to pay and was excited to have my purchases. Waste of time.

A line of about 40 people gathered behind me and the one person infront of me. The store manager didn’t seem to care about a line so about 20 people gathered in a cluster infront of the line as they all rushed the till befor the people who had waited in line. You would think when a highly demanded release calls people to line up for over an hour the store would at least try to honour first come first serve of a limited supply. Guilherme Guedes: Pretty standard Best Buy store. Very helpful and friendly service but some products like phone protection ones (glass, cases and others) are way more expensive than it should. You can easily find them online at half the price. But other psychs such as home electronics, gadgets and appliances are at a good price. You should always look for the offers though, they're very frequent but not always communicated, so you should do a price check before buying.

S p: EXTREMELY Pushy salespeople, and at the same time not knowledgeable about the products at all. Used car salesmen are like angels compared to some of these Best Buy salespeople. Worst part is that they INSIST that they are Not on commission, while literally doing ANYhthing to push you to buy...! I take it as a direct insult for someone to look directly into my eyes and lie so clearly and obviously into my face....Oh and I also had the pleasure of dealing with their Geek Squad for TV installation. After paying 350 Dollars for a TV mount, the first time they messed up the installation - they were nice people though. I had to book a second appointment which was scheduled for a few days later. The 2nd group who showed up at the 2nd appointment were so rude!!! And I ended up with extra holes on my wall and a TV which afterall was not installed at the height that I had originally asked for. Because they couldn't make holes too close to the holes that the first group initially made in the first appointment.In short, I describe their Geek Squad personnel as "Rookies". Definitely Not worth the 350 dollars to have a messed up TV mount and extra holes on your wall.

They avoid pointing to its weaknesses, and then, because of their short return policy, I've been keeping a useless, costly printer due to the following weaknesses;1. The scanner automatically adjusts auto brightness on documents in photo or doc preset. So you cannot scan something in actual colours.2. It sometimes has issues connecting your devices, and you have to sign in to your HP account before using it. Requiring users to log in to an online account to use offline devices is annoying.3. Besides this device's high cost of inks, you have a few months to use your cartridges; otherwise, they'll empty.4. This printer is heavy and oversized, and it makes noises.Therefore, I will never shop from Best buy anymore.

Mandy went the extra mile, she was super patient considering the slowness of their computers at the time, read through the live chat notes, and made sure everything was correct and proper. Wonderful customer service. I also appreciated Victoria's interest in and knowledge of computer parts and video games.

Paul Donnett: Best Buy’s increasingly antiquated customer service and financing leaves me truly stumped sometimes. Applied online for a Best Buy credit card today and got quickly approved. So far so good. So I drive to my local store, needing to buy a MacBook for my company. Get great direct service from the salesperson, to her credit. And the laptop is on sale, wonderful. But when I go to buy, I can’t, because Best Buy insists on sending you a plastic card in the mail. Apparently there’s absolutely no way up to clear my card even though I have proof in my hands that I’ve been approved. I ask if I can just reapply for the financing in store because the laptop is also on sale. Of course not, because then the system registers it as fraud. So I am given no choice, no options, no hold on the sale price for even a couple of days so I can come back and purchase it. I leave the store empty-handed. I don’t get a computer and they don’t get my $1600. Off to Visions and I’m cancelling my BB card.

Sam S.: Was in dire need of a case for my new Samsung s23 ultra. Found a really nice Spigen case and found a price match at Telus. I was dealing with sales associate "Mandy" and about 10 minutes into the price match I asked her what the problem was as she scrolled up and down her phone. Didn't even bat an eyelash or explain anything to me. About 2 minutes later I informed her my parking was about to expire and I'd like to either make the sale or order online through Amazon. She immediately lost her cool blew up on me, informed me I couldn't talk to her like that. I think she may have been a little too woke.Regardless another sales associate came over matched the price immediately and I moved on with my day.I realize that it's tough to find good employees but you cannot have people like Mandy representing your company if they're going to be rude to the public.I don't also don't understand why it takes 12 minutes to price match a case that is being sold down the street at Telus. There's no shipping fees no conversion rates nothing involved it's pretty simple.Anyways I'm going to give Best Buy a one star for this encounter. My only advice to Best Buy would be treat your customers nicely or they'll just go online and buy it there with a simple click. If I wasn't in a rush, I would have done just that, next time I think I will.

After being reassured by online person it was, I went to store only to find out it actually wasn't in stock at all. Total waste of time.. then was told a neighboring store had it in stock. So I asked them to confirm that with me so I wouldn't have to waste more of my time. I checked the online status of this item which claimed it was out of stock. They claimed there was no way they could call the store to actually confirm it was there. Totally absurd. Complete waste of time. Superpig 2001: I went to go buy a vr that u saved up for, cashier lady was really nice to be as I wasn’t sure how the quest 2 was and it was my first big purchase with my own money. I asked her if I could try the vr and if I didn’t like it if I could return it, she said “you can try the vr but you must return it within 30days and if you want you can get the extended warranty”. She kept on making me buy the warranty but it was 150$ and I didn’t have that money. I realized that the quest isn’t for me so I came back to return it u see 30 days and they are very rude, mik the assistant store manager was very rude towards me saying no one would ever say that to me and basically calling me a lier! They didn’t want to refund me at all and told me that it’s final sale once open. I was never once told it was final sale, not on the receipt, not on the box, only online in fine print. Never buy from this Best Buy they are a bunch of scammers who are very rude and just want the sale, don’t believe anything they say. The lady’s name was YIMM from best buy on Cambie in Vancouver Canada. The assistant store manger who was very rude was Mik. Please spread this post as I really just want a refund from what I was told. Thank you for reading my story.

Gabrielle Zeitler: This review is not specific to Park Royal Best Buy, but Best Buy as a whole.We purchased a dishwasher, the installation fee, and the haul away fee. When the contractors came, I mentioned to them that we paid to have our old dishwasher taken away as well (a separate fee) but they said they knew nothing about it. They then left without taking the old dishwasher.When we I contacted customer service at Best Buy to handle this, I was passed around to 4 different people before being told that only one department handled these inquiries, and that they can only be reached by phone (fine).I have called this department over 10 times within their office hours and they either do not pick up, or do not offer solutions. I have spoken to so many different people and no one has been helpful. We have even tried offering solutions, but they say none of them can be done. It has been a very frustrating experience and my old dishwasher is still sitting outside my house.

Didn’t end up getting it but when I was leaving I noticed they had 4 sets of joy cons priced at 21.99 so I grabbed a set because I thought hey they’ve gotta honour it especially if they’ve got 4 there. Went up to the cash to pay and then got told they’re 112.99 I refused and showed them the picture of the price it was posted at and they refused to give it to me at that price because the product didn’t match the tag. I brought up the fact that if it was still wrong they’d have to honour it and take 10 dollars off because it is a law, they still refused to give it at the price and I had asked for the manager. The manager walked over and was told the situation and they just nodded their head and didn’t say anything . Very disappointed in the service that was provided, if your staff knows that the product is in the wrong place then there should be proper tags for the products. I will not support this location of Best Buy. I have a friend that works at Best Buy and it’s posted in the back on a plague that if products are in the wrong place they must honour the pricing and taking 10 dollars off.

D S: Best buy has a lot of good deals, but money is better spent on amazon if you're doing an online order. Best buy uses Purolator and your packages almost never get delivered. Amazon actually delivers your packages to your door. With Purolator, you'll be chasing down your package, calling them and messaging them to ask them to hold your package at their location, after which you need to take the bus out there. This is REALLY inconvenient to Best Buy customers, I would suggest they review this and see how they can make it better! Perhaps the Purolator shipping information could contain a Buzzer Number field, and phone number field to help the drivers actually deliver the package? If you need a signature, you might as well just have them leave a slip and have the customer pick it up from a Purolator office. Purolator fails to deliver packages 9/10 times. Best Buy definitely needs to review this, because it's not working the way it is.

They avoid pointing to its weaknesses, and then, because of their short return policy, I've been keeping a useless, costly printer due to the following weaknesses;1. The scanner automatically adjusts auto brightness on documents in photo or doc preset. So you cannot scan something in actual colours.2. It sometimes has issues connecting your devices, and you have to sign in to your HP account before using it. Requiring users to log in to an online account to use offline devices is annoying.3. Besides this device's high cost of inks, you have a few months to use your cartridges; otherwise, they'll empty.4. This printer is heavy and oversized, and it makes noises.Therefore, I will never shop from Best buy anymore.

G S: Ex Best Buy staff here but I was at HQ, so I know how good they there in order giving good experience for their customers. Anyway, I can't remember during peak time do they store staff get additional incentive like sales commissions? The moment I step into this stores it's like lack of motivation. the staffs like more focus to chit chat among them specifically around mobile phone area. I still bought a phone cause of price matching or else would just walk away.

No one seems available to help and when we tried to check out we had to wait a long time to be noticed by the groups of staff. For some reason they closed the mall exit till like 10 minutes before closing? I get that it’s a holiday but for someone who want to support employment it makes it hard not shop at Amazon instead. What I can not understand is a cashier who does not know their payment policies. He did not know what their tap machine limit was, and had to constantly intercom his manager for help. When I asked him about the return policy, he pulled out his phone to Google what the policy was.This location is essentially a self-serve station. There is no positive input from any of the staff, and it’s a better use of your time to do everything yourself. Best Buy please reconsider how your staff benefit your customers and business.This experience has deterred me from ever considering purchasing from Best Buy again. There are many other better retailers who can provide information and customer service in store.

He told me to walk over to Geek Squad (his gestures and body language made it seem as if I was going to hurt him lol).The guy working at Geek Squad told me to wait in the area I needed help at. I ended up waiting for nearly 15 minutes. It wasn't busy at all early yesterday afternoon.Another associate mindlessly looked over and passed me after helping someone els as I was stood in front of SD cards. I literally had to approach him for assistance. He called over another associate, but she didn't know much about cameras, so she called over another worker named Steven.Steven was very knowledgeable and assuring when it came to answering my questions about camera storage. He also helped me pick out the right memory card for my Sony camera. Thanks, Steven!

It literally took about an hour or so to wrap the whole procedure including all formalities + insurance process and selecting the phone accessories. The representative - Neeraj was kind enough to assist me with ease and explain the process. Also, there was some issue with my credit score in the system. He immediately called customer support and got that sorted. I am impressed with best buy service all over and would recommend trying it.
