Biltmore Cabaret: what do users think?
Jeff Raimondo: This place has always been a great venue to see a live show! Great sound, nice space, close to the action, room to dance, good bar with decent prices. The private security is kind of a bummer because they don’t really seem to understand or appreciate the organism that is a live music performance (telling people they’re standing in the wrong space, being a bit standoffish when it comes to traffic redirection of the crowd) but it’s not enough to ruin your good time. Long love the Biltmore!
James Duncan: This dirty little basement venue is the place to see artists before they get big. Such a fun time here, highly recommend supporting bands and comedians on their way up, out or wherever… the photo is of Tommy Newport and band.
Gonz VonLog: Love watching live shows here, I’ve seen so many great ones. Only downside is the stage being at ground level, makes it hard to see when crowded
Nathalie Mila: Fun shows, kind staff.
Renu Singh: Friendly staff from bartenders to front door team. Awesome venue for intimate shows! Drinks on the pricey side.
Chaz Williams: Most intimate concert venue, always an amazing show whenever I've visited.
Kelsey Morris: Always a good time! Friendly staff and great music
Karl Poldre: This place rules. Amazing live music. I came in on a Saturday for my Birthday and both the manager, Matt, and the band playing went completely above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience.I will absolutely be back!
mary s: War and TreatyWhat a fabulous showVenue was great
oaksound studio: Great atmosphere and awesome sound system. I love playing here
Vanessa Mousavizadeh: So enjoyed the Jake Wesley Rogers show this March. Fantastic show. Comfortable space, nice ambiance, standard drinks. Really nice, welcoming staff. I would have been so grateful if you'd offered food options. A girl has got to eat! I'll definitely be back but might bring some takeout.
Kurt Yesilcimen: Hard to find the entrance and a bit of a crammed feeling but it's nice to see a smaller venue with decent enough drink options and pinball machines. Came for an event and the seating arrangements were a bit odd. Will have to go back to see it in a different setting.
Scott Alexander: The Biltmore Cabaret cares greatly about their guests hydration and as such has a self-serve free cold water tap. I’d give them 6 gold stars for this alone, but their staff are also friendly and the concert environment is top notch. I do wish the stage was a bit bigger, but its smaller stature provides a more intimate experience.
Chelsea Bowers: One of the best music venues in Vancouver
Nic Bachleitner (Suprastitious): No parking, $8 for a can of lucky and they ask for a tip...acoustics were great but they over sold for seating and numerous people were standing around complaining. Go early if you want to get a seat
Anastassia Zukova: I thought this place was great for a comedy spot. The only less than ideal thing about it is that the entrance is in the alley and it seems to often have homeless here and there (generally, Vancouver seems to have quite a problem with this). But if you come let’s say about 15min before a show, there should be other people in line and that feels much less dodgy. That said I am a female and was waiting by myself because I got there about 30 minutes early, so definitely felt a little uneasy. Other than that, the inside is super Cody and the drinks were good enough. Fun time all in all.
Jesse Neudorf: Awesome place to see a band you like. Good beer. Smaller venue
Byron Pelly: Pretty enjoyable experience, venue was nice. The drinks are a little expensive. They do offer a free water station. I would come back for another event.
Izi Kavazo: Dark and tight, but in the best possible way. It's a great place to see a small band. It feels intimate, but not awkward. There are good nooks and crannies to sit in on the edges and you can see the stage from almost every one.
Hannah Jarvis: Was there for NYE and it was the worst DJ experience of my life. The transitions were brutal and it was really hard to dance to.
mason lemons: Very nice place for live shows

Chan Centre for the Performing Arts: what do users think?
Diego: Great acustic from anywhere you seat, although I recommend not to close to the stage so you can see the whole Orchestra.
Lanz Singbeil: A beautiful performing arts space for small events. Just a bit too pricey for the drinks and bites and there aren't washrooms on both sides of the hall.
Duncan W: Interesting venue. Seats are comfortable. Decent coffee from the concession. Lineups during intermission were not managed.
nidaa bassam: The best concert ever.
Sherif Elsonbaty: Great venue!
Anthea Mak: Convenient location with parkage next to the Chan Centre. Guess taking public transportation by bus should be convenient too. I saw a bus stop in 2-3 min walking distance.I attended a concert organized by Vancouver Pops a few days back. The sound effect was not bad. The seating was comfortable too. I may try seats on raised floor at the sides next time because I should have a better view of individual musicians.UBC Rose Garden is next to the centre. It should be more attractive during summer. No roses in April. Only yellow turnips are there. That said, strolling in the proximity could be refreshing and pleasant.
Doruk Sahinoz: Nice experience overall 👍👍
Arash Sadeghipour: A wonderful centre of art performances.
Bruce Moffat: Very nice facility
Scott Kelman: Beautiful facility. Seems expansive and intimate all at once.
Emilio Abuel: Sound system is superb!
Gary Fuson: Great sound
Rendell Roberts: Stunning location. Herb Alpert was incredible. Great venue for any kind of event excellent sound and not a bad seat in the house
Rick Bonn: This is the best concert hall around, the acoustics are amazingly good. It has a beautiful lobby overlooking the forest.
Reimar Goetzke: Great acoustics
Kai Ling Ma (The Demon): Beautiful building on the inside, shows were great
Grimoaldo Assuncao: This centre is amazing.Seats are very comfortable, the sound is extraordinary. The place is beautiful. All staff are attentive and friendly. Washrooms available. There are many public parkings around where you can leave your car parked and safe.I had attended two operas and I am happy with both experiences.I really recommend this place, if you want to have a wonderful show and enjoy all the beauty and surrounding here.
Jeff nderson: The assistive are spectacular, seating about all feel intimate, the song beautiful and the electrical musical programming benefits from this.
Jack Pack: 공연이 아주 좋았습니다. 그런데 예전보다는 조금 부족한거 같더라구요.
Colin Craig: Great venue, with excellent sound

Pyatt Hall at the VSO School Of Music: what do users think?
Raymond Zhang: VSO rules classical guitar
Jason Walsh: Great acoustics in a modern room
Cathy Danderfer: The new Vancouver Jazz Orchestra put on an outstanding concert!
Michael Moriarity: Attendance at the Coastal Jazz and Blues Society June 24th 2019 to hear Joe Magnarelli Quintet featuring Ralph Moore..this jazz group brought the audience to their feet at the conclusion to their performance..this site has excellent atmosphere and acoustics...
Isaac Mailach: Beautiful space with phenomenal acoustics; the clarity of the music is preserved while adding space for the sound to breathe.
Bob ROBERT: Wonderful music venue
Eric Glaser: Beautiful spot with very impressive acoustics.
Soni Mand: Great accoustics.
Cia C: Facilities are new, bright and clean. Pyatt Hall is much smaller than I expected, about 10 rows. Row clearance is a bit narrow, and seated audiences have to stand up to yield just coming ones. Maybe it's good for solo or private events.

Commodore Ballroom: what do users think?
Teuh Bousquet: Best music venue in Vancouver, hands down! Super intimate, some seating available on reservation. Never a bad experience!
Emma Turgut: They didn't let us bring our bags in even though there is a bag check inside?? Made trying to get in to see our show super difficult, very inconvenient. Security was also like weirdly forceful and just like when is it ever that deep. I would probably never come back here but it is a pretty venue and the performance was great. Also it is massive.
the Bride of Frankenstein: This place was THE place in Vancouver in the 90s would love to revisit...
Mark Osborne: Commodore is the best indoor music venue on the West Coast! 3 bors, plenty of seating, and amazing staff. I’ve been going there since 1992, when I first saw Pavement on their Wowie Zowie tour. Just recently saw M83 there, and was just as impressed as my 1992 show. Go! Make the drive from SF if you have to!
John Edmeston: Best ever!!! Look at the list of past performers!!! Great acoustics, Dance your face off
Elizabeth Wildeboer: Loved this venue! Such a cool space. Larger than expected with tables along the edge, a large dance floor and balcony
Icarus Skelly: Loud. Yeouchie my ears. Very cool!
Caroline F: Amazing venue with amazing sound!
Kristina Tait: Great venue
olim82: The Commodore is the best venue in Vancouver. It's a smaller intimate venue and no matter where you are seated or standing you'll have a great view or seat. There are 4 different bars to grab a drink so never a long line. Once the artist or band gets going the tires underneath the floor get the place jumping.
Coho Parhar: Best venue in town
Manish Sharma: Awesome place, great music, great food n drinks... perfect place for Friday evening...
Mark Pedicelli: Great live music, great band, good mix of music. Very talented! Loved it.
Byron Pelly: Solid venue, great food, good people, bird up
Ali R: The Commodore is a great venue and the acoustics are very good. It was one heck of an M83 concert!
Andrew Evans: Can't give any venue that doesn't accept cash more than 2 stars no matter how much I love the place
Peter Fenwick: Best place to see a show. Perfect size!
Sam Jones: Awesome venue. Friendly staff. Expensive drinks, although not as expensive as other nearby venues. Parking nearby. Always a good time to be had!
Brent Janzen: Always a great Show at the Commodore !
Tony Klassen: Good atmosphere for a night out.
Mike M: Always a great time here! Love the energy, atmosphere and sound set up. Saw Big Sugar a couple of weeks ago and the pricing was decent. The night was priceless! A legendary venue 😊😊

PNE Amphitheatre: what do users think?
Jon S: Great news for upgrade and future venue attraction
Karim Zein: The PNE Amphitheatre is an amazing venue for concerts and events! The outdoor setting provides a great atmosphere and the stage is perfect for big-name performers. The seating is arranged in a way that provides a good view from any spot, and the sound quality is fantastic. The staff is also friendly and helpful, making for a great overall experience. One downside, however, is that parking can be limited, so be prepared to arrive early or park a bit further away.Overall, the PNE Amphitheatre is definitely worth checking out for any music or event lovers. The combination of great sound, atmosphere, and friendly staff make it a memorable experience.
RUMBLE BEE: Such a great place
Jason Ward: One of Vancouver's top places to catch an out door event. It ranks up there with the (rip) squamish Valley music fest and Gorge in Washington for a beautiful and magical out door music event. Wonderful sunsets and mountain views backdropping the event. Awesome everytime
劉祖: The place is a bit old… but the show is good.
Peter Peek: Best view
Savannah: Went to fright nights on Sunday, I was very disappointed. Walking around it felt like any day at Playland, nothings scary or Halloween like. Long lines to get into the haunted houses that were not scary at all. Will not be going back.
Valzilla: i waited in lines for three hours bruh
Alex Pinto: Great concert venue. Different types of events take place here, great sound system.
Ira Sentesy: Good sound 👌
Mitch Holst: Super fun place for a concert!!
Ivan: It's a great place for concerts. It was hard to find, google shows the route through the PNE, but it's closed, so go through the park. The downsides:The place would benefit from renovation. There weren't enough washrooms and food trucks.
Jed Bruce: Attended the Odesza show here and it was a great experience. Really enjoyed the show there and the selection of food and drinks were good. Only suggestion would be to have more porta pottys there as the lineups for them were far too long.
Chris Loney: The Bee Gees
David: Stage isn't high enough and the sound setup lacks volume and immersiveness.Add more speakers spaced further from the stage and increase the height of the stage
Mia A: Love the outdoor concert
Desarae D: Not a bad outdoor venue loved flume
Hannah: One of my favourite venues as long as the weather is nice 🌞 There’s no cover from the rain and I didn’t see any indoor washrooms, just portable ones — but loved all the food trucks and the seating area just outside the venue! There was bleacher style seating by the stage and lots of standing room, so it felt like an intimate concert and even from the back of the crowd we felt so close to the performers. Would love to see another concert here!!
Darren Tran: Came here for the Odesza concert. Cool little venue with lots of seating
dave wells: awesome venue ruined by completely inept and aggressive security. 30min lineups to use the bathroom, and security guards who failed highschool and aren't even smart enough to be a cop who like to throw people out of concerts when they did nothing wrong. will be lawsuits coming if the one keeps having the same clown show security. absolute joke.
Melissa C: I had a great time at the ODESZA concert at this venue. The space is really fun. I'm not going to pick on staffing issues because everyone knows how hard it is to find staff these days. But one thing that seems totally fixable to me is the bathroom situation (or lack thereof, rather.) How is it acceptable to have so few facilities for a venue with a ~7000 person capacity?

Imperial Vancouver: what do users think?
Gary Sajjan: I have never gone inside , so my rating is figured out by friends and family that have been there.
Gavin Thompson: Great small venue for live music. Sound has always been great after a half dozen shows here. The size of the theater is smaller than the Commodore, but larger than the Biltmore. The space for merch setups at the entrance way and coat check Is large and accommodating for both foot traffic for patrons and merch tables for the bands. The space is beautifully lit and it's clean inside, with the exception that some floor lighting could be useful for the lips of the ramps that join the theater space and the bar (watch your damn step!)Don't be turned away by the homeless tents and droves of homeless people outside the venue, this is a sad side of Vancouver and these people are harmless. This is the epicenter of where they congregate and live and to date nobody has a solution for it.
Robert R: Had an amazing experience here, great music and a fantastic set up.
Mandy Sidana: Great venue. It's a pity it's going to be torn down.
TheDeadb3ar: Best venue in Vancouver
Gord Yamanaka: Won't answer emails, left a voice mail, no reply...
Lisbeth Fuentes: I will go there again
Juliana Oliveira: The place looks awesome inside. The location is not the best tho, but have not had any issues! Just be aware.
Paul S.O. Barbeau: Best small live music venue in the city.
David M: Intimate space but plenty of dance floor and fun
Renan Rotondo: Fetish party was super cool =)
Tim Zol: screw this venue!
Vanesti Dragon: The area is scary as hell; not going to lie. The inside of the venue is beautiful. One of my favorite looking venues. But you will have to skirt ppl doing drugs to get there. The bus stops about a 1/4 block away, and uber will drop you at the door.
Stacey Littlewood: Rad big venue for shows, stage a little small. Shout out to the nice bathrooms with working stalls and locking doors. Smells a bit dank and doesn't have cider but I don't mind drinking highballs all night! Hope to see more shows there!
Trevor Bunt: Awesome Venue!
Aphrodite Janeway: It's the Imperial, never had a bad time at events here.
Regis Denefle: Well made place for beautiful parties and events. Goth that night, for an event that was advertised as an 80s experience... Still, a great sound system, cool lazer lights, cages to dance in. Fun, safe-feeling place, albeit in a sketchy part of town where people camp on the sidewalk in the perpetual queue of the rough life, not to get tickets for a show.
Gary M: Great venue for live music. Sons of Kemet 7th April.
Joe Gordon: Excellent show, great venue 👌
Travis Rene Montgomery: I purchased tickets to a concert that was "postponed". The promoter Concept Eventz dropped of the face of the earth and I was unable to contact anyone at the venue. Ive waited two weeks now with no response.Zero attempts to update ticket holders/ make them whole. Looking at other one star reviews this isn't an isolated incident. Just a bunch of theft with extra steps.
Sebastien Stewart: Good venue, good shoes. Er, shows (auto-correct). Five stars.

Rickshaw Theatre: what do users think?
Lucas Mol: Really cool old theatre that books some fantastic artists. Drink options are pretty limited and cash only. But who cares? You're here for the music. 🤘
Ryan Tindall: Great venue. Great sound. Great staff
rafael alves: Best place in Vancouver!!
Zaking: I come here a lot for metal shows and this place rocks. Friendly staff and security, you can go in and out as many times as you’d like, and a can of beer isn’t even 6 dollars. Easily my favourite music venue in Vancouver. 5/5
Milk: Went there for the first time with a buddy of mine. Had one of the best nights of my life.Despite the place being much smaller than I expected, all my other expectations were positively shattered. The volume was at levels I have never expierenced before. They were at a level where I felt my ribcage vibrating aggressively. True noise cancellation as I couldn't near anyone around me, except for the bands. The staff were very friendly. I quite enjoyed the conversations that were had between performances. The people attending were incredibly friendly too. I was slightly caught off guard. The audience was a bug factor in making the night worth remembering.Went for the @archspireofficial show. All the bands prior to the main show were brilliant. Enjoyed all of them.As for the best part that got me fueled were the moshpits and wall of deaths. New concept to me, but loved every second of it. Had my testosterone & adrenaline levels spiking to the sky. Instantly had me hooked.Definitely coming back for future shows. 10/10
markus keinhorst: Obviously the band made the night, The Heavy were as expected a great show. Cash only peeps....decent choice of drinks.....
olim82: I love this venue. It's a smaller sized venue so you have great site lines no matter where you are and the staff there seem friendly and accommodating.
Byren Koelling: Great staff, reasonable prices for alcohol and the best metal venue in Vancouver
Justin: The venue is on east hastings and you will need to wait out side with all sorts of addicts and occasional violence before entry to a show. It’s also pretty dirty and dingy. The security also jumps across you if you are unfortunate enough to sit in the wrong seats. Unfortunately it’s the only place to go for a lot of metal shows.
Jonny Ray: I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Staff was very friendly. Had a great time during a concert. :)
peppertomb: Assisted my wheelchair-bound friend to a Watsky show. The staff is incredible here, everyone is crazy nice and went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. Special thanks to the beefy bald security dude, who repeatedly came up to check in on us and let us know about close accessible washrooms (the rickshaw's are up a flight of stairs)
Maria Vervena: Amazing venue, I’m definitely looking forward to my next visit. The staff were also amazing. All around fun night.
J Harnett: Very friendly security! This place has so much character. I love that it's an independent venue that brings in a lot of alternative, punk, and metal acts. Tough part of town and sad to see, but if you mind your own business you'll be fine.
William Shakesbeare: Great sound. Classic Vancouver scene vibe. 👌
Jasmine Lysenko: Very fun venue.
Kyle Lawhead: Great place to experience live shows
Kao Lew: Amazing Venue, staff was so nice, I liked how the seating is placed so you have somewhere to relax after rocking out.
Michael Windeyer: Good room to see a show.
Gord McCaw: Have seen many great shows here, tremendous venue and owner Mo Tarmohamed is a standup guy...

Fox Cabaret: what do users think?
Logan Wicks: I haven't danced this hard since I saw the demon barber of fleet street
Jonathan Harris: I came here for 2 nights of a metal festival and was pleasantly surprised at how good the sound quality was for the small space. Cosy venue with limited seating, friendly staff, and quick service at the bar. Definitely worth checking out if there's a show coming up that catches your eye!
Kao Lew: Went here for a metal fest. The stools were a little uncomfortable, but you're meant to be rocking out. Staff was nice and parking was easy to find.
Robert Piddocke: Good place to catch a show. Acoustics are ok.
Shaida Joukar: always fun vibes and great energy!
METALHEAVEN CANADA: The venue itself is small. The stage area is great and so is the service but compared to Toronto or New York venues, it is small, very small.
Shade Henderson: Great vibe, perfect small venue!
Mitchell “MaravillosO” Undurraga: Great local spot for drinks and dancing. Staff is exceptional and welcoming.
Danyel M: Great place to watch live music and home to a phenomenal team! Ciji was great in helping arrange event details for the projection room.
Manizha A: Came here for the first time for a friends birthday party. Our bartender upstairs was very nice and friendly, and good service downstairs as well. The place got pretty packed after 10pm. Good choice of music and overall had a great time. The SkyTrain station was about a 15 minute walk back.
Nicholas: Great vibes
bee keepness: We attended the impov there and we had a great time. Service was great, show was funny. Will definitely be checking out more shows.
Comedy In Kitsap: Great venue, staff, and drinks!
April Petry: We're visiting from Edmonton and stumbled on a show playing at Fox Cabaret (Wares who turned out to be from Edmonton and we will definitely go see preform back home), Kamikaze Nurse and Soyjoy. The venue was so cool and the bar/cocktails were great, I would highly recommend for live music! My only wish was for more chairs and tables to have a seat for a bit!
Tim Swanson: It was a blast! Went for 4 for 4 and Shimbashi Station was rocking!
Christa Siminiuk: I went dancing with some friends here last weekend and we had an awesome experience! The door staff were friendly and welcoming. The music was great and the water station was a cool perk! I will be back :)
Stephanie Sun: This is the worst place to go
Maxwell Chan: they cut someone's set 15 minutes early even though we paid to see her. they weren't even behind schedule. they just wanted to bring their dj in early at 1030
Natasha Lynne: Great little place! Good for live music and drinks!
Lauren Tremblay: We bought tickets to see Wallice and Jawny. Wallice was on for about five songs before they cut her off with fifteen minutes left. Completely unprofessional and disappointing to the artists and the people who bought tickets.
Jayana Devathasan: Great music. Shout out to Tom!

Francis Tiernan: Beautiful venue, I was there for comedy, definitely going back
Joel Anderson: Fun place
Jamieson Cole: Saw Alistair Ogden at this venue! Great show and comedian, would come again!
Monice: Intimate and great air quality!
EB: On a cold and grim evening a couple years ago, I was invited by a friend (hey Alex!) to go and check out an event at The China Cloud. A bit reluctant and not knowing what it was about, my expectations were non-existent.What was my surprise after climbing up the stairs to find in front of my eyes one of the most utterly exquisite events I’ve had the pleasure to attend – ever. Imagine a Turkish den (sofas, cushions, carpets everywhere) covered with plants (lots and lots of them) while the beautiful music of an harpist (Elisa Thorn) is being played live. Boy, it was splendid…
Harpreet Rose: Nice place but the steep stairs to get up offer a real accessibility challenge
Richard Gilmour: Friendly staff, professional services, party ongoing always
Alan Cooke: Great food
tom donaghy: Meh
Josephine Watson: Cozy and intimate atmosphere, friendly hosts, amazing performances

Keiana C: I’ve been here for great shows before but a recent concert I attended dozens of people were actively smoking everywhere inside. A cloud of haze was forming. No airflow, drunk patrons and no ins no outs. I couldn’t breathe so I cut my losses and just left halfway through. If people break the rules just toss them out I’m confused on why that rarely happened.
Anmolpreet Singh: Was there with my friends for an concert. Vibe was amazing.
Arivarul Arivazhagan (Ajit): Decent theatre
tiffany bayley: Chris Webby
Rhiannon Fraser: Amazing venue!
Mike Loehndorf: Always the best venue
Gordon Sjodin: Excellent place for a show. Very small venue. The security did their job well.
Anagha Varma: Went to attend a stand-up comedy. The theatre has an old charm to it. The stage had a good space for the performance. The lighting and ambience of the theatre was nice. However, the seats were particularly small and might be uncomfortable if you are big person or have to be seated for a long time. Apart from this, everything else was fine.
zaqary420 and thy dabbath day: Why the fak don't they take cash for booze!?!?!?! Stupid as now I'm thirsty
Michael McCahon: Such a cool venue. I think I like it more than the Commodore. I have nothing but good things to say about it. And they've had some great acts there as well.
Trish Everett: What an absolute blast at NinjaTed!
Harry E: Nice venue. Queue to get a drink is so long the show will be over and the next one started by the time you're served.Everything else is great.
Tom Power: Venue was well managed and bar service was quick. The drinks were a little expensive, so I suggest just doing drugs or something beforehand.
Andrew Tuline: Just love the venue and the concerts I've attended there.
D Caharel: They need to do some cleaning and repairs.
Art Chyzhou: Needs reno
Avis Unwin: Excellent show by David Spade. Super funny and snarky! Drinks not over priced and allowed at your seat. Anytime I have been to a show either music or comedy great time!
