Wedgewood Hotel & Spa: what do users think?
Tracy Gibbons: Spa was amazing! Tiny and boutique-y
Fred Aram: A hidden gem in the centre of Vancouver. Extremely clean and comfortable hotel with super corteous and helpful staff and quality food. Loved the experience. Truley deserves 5 star.Rooms: Extremely clean and comfortable.Nearby activities: The whole night life and shopping district of Vancouver downtown.Walkability: Right in the heart of the city.Food & drinks: Great food. Fantastic breakfast. Lunch and dinner menue can enjoy more variety.
Anne F: This is a beautiful hotel with impeccable service. The staff are truly top notch.Rooms: Rooms are beautiful. Very clean. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are quiet.
Alison Fisher: We held a 2-day company workshop for 27 people in April and everything the hotel did was outstanding. This was the easiest event I have planned due to the communication and organization from the event staff. The meeting room was set up perfectly for our group and the catering over the two days was amazing. The kitchen also carefully took care of several of our attendees with food allergies. I could not find fault with anything. The service throughout the two days was 10/10. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The hotel also arranged for our 27 guests to have dinner at Bacchus restaurant, and again, the food and service was incredible. Would I recommend the Wedgewood Hotel and Spa? Absolutely! Whether for a corporate event or for a personal getaway. We've held several events in Vancouver, and I without a doubt, we will look to book with the Wedgewood Hotel in the future.
sony pandher: good price
Peter Sedin: The bar is my go too when in Vancouver, the service is top notch, the drinks are well made and the setting is fantastic. In other words, if you have time, visit this bar!
Cristian Sevilla: Really friendly staff
Junnosuke Kuroda: We stayed here with my family and our dog, the staffs were warm and friendly. It's located at the center of Vancouver downtown, we could just walk to shops and restaurants on Robson St. We would like to visit here again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More

J Larsen: The rooms here should have been renovated about 15 years ago. Who knows when and if that will ever happen, but what exists now is a mishmash of updates throughout the decades and just doesn’t feel like a luxury experience. That said, it is a comfortable boutique hotel with charm and an alternative to some of the bland box hotels in the city.
edward robinson: What a fantastic hotel! Front desk attendant was so personable. Room was incredibly clean and well appointed and very quiet... Loved the balcony. Location was perfect for our theatre night out.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
vafa alizadeh: What a hidden gem downtown, great ambiance and even better food and service.
Liana W.: Love the lounge at the Wedgewood and sitting right by the fireplace.Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Zerlina Thompson: We just finished our Spring Break ‘Staycation’ and cannot gush enough about the service, luxury and hospitality of the Wedgwood Hotel and Spa. From the moment we checked in and was surprised with an upgrade to a palatial suite to the welcome chocolates and the turn down service and fresh cookies each night everything was 11/10! We appreciated the personal welcome by name every time we came in and out to after hours access to the steam room and lounge. We enjoyed afternoons at Bacchus even just to unwind from our busy day. Staff is lovely and helpful and that is enough reason for us to return very soon!
Preet Mudhar: I was really impressed with the service. All the staff we encountered was so friendly and made our experience that much better! The turn down service with a little treat is a nice surprise when you come back in the evening. They had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, would definitely recommend to friends.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Tommy Tong: On Friday, March 10th, 2023, I decided to have a cocktail whilst waiting for a dinner reservation nearby. Whilst sitting at the bar, I witnessed Lindsay, the bartender, treating his protégé Liam in a manner that was not conducive in creating and/or nurturing a supportive environment.Imagine learning the skills required for a career in mixology during a busy Friday night at a 4-star hotel in the heart of Vancouver. If that wasn't stressful enough, imagine having to learn from someone who does NOT have your best interests in mind and makes this fact known through his ineffective communication choices.I felt so bad for Liam that I gave him a tip and thanked him for his hard work. Unlike the gratuity that I left for Lindsay, that was the best money I spent in a long time.TO MANAGEMENT:Please do not invite me to contact you with your cookie-cutter, insincere replies on Google Reviews. I won't be coming back to your establishment. This is not the first time I've had a negative experience at your bar. The 2-stars are for your cocktail creations and for the design and ambience of your decor (which I find very appealing). What a shame.
Ryan Punambolam: Three star hotel at best. Booked through AMEX fine hotels with late check out. Told the morning of check out that “we will have charge me.” Food was terrible. Saving grace is Chipotle is across the street. Lots of other better options in Vancouver with this price point.
Christopher Brumley: Great lobby. Felt welcomed at the front door. Front desk experience was ok. Room was nice and housekeeping brought us everything we needed. Prime location as well. Would recommend to anyone who likes old fashioned European style room.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Harold Warkentin: love this hotel. Excellent staff. Great location within walking distance to most things Vancouver.
K Michelle park: The room was dated but it was clean and well maintained. The staff service wasn't the best especially the valet parking. I love going to Relais & Chateaux hotels, but this one wasn't amazing. The restaurant had a great foods with live piano music in the evening. I recommend the restaurant more than the hotel itself.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
ASENJO ONE VISIT DENTISTRY: Really spectacular service. Recommend it.

Pan Pacific Vancouver: what do users think?
Robert Dehn: If you are catching a Cruise out of here, then book here right now. It’s pricey but worth every penny. They literally have a “cruise deck” button in the elevators… took all the mystery out of “where do I need to go.” That being said it’s here. You leave from this hotel…!The rooms had an incredible view of the water, were spotless clean, and every person that worked there was so friendly and accommodating. We didn’t realize we needed to print our luggage tickets before getting there… and they even had a free business center with a free printer! There is an indoor shopping / food center directly across the street. Had a few stores / cheap food options as well and an indoor / outdoor sitting area. Grabbed a coffee and some travel essentials without issue.Protip. Ask the front desk to have the bellhops to take care of delivering your luggage to the cruise ship. We handed them off from our room (for a worth it, 5 dollar per bag fee!) …and then we we’re able to walk around Vancouver luggage / stress free for a few hours! Big win.
Kyle B: Really large and busy hotel. Very very good location with a great pool area with scenic views. Perfect if you are going on a cruise. Very busy and can be overwhelming when first pulling up as a tourist.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Great value …More

Tanya: It's the little things that matter. We arrived after a 14hr flight at the hotel at 8:30am. Dreading the late check-in, we were told our room was ready and we could go straight in. The porter was about 2 minutes behind us with our bags. Excellent! Twin beds that were double size. Pillows that were so comfortable. Shower curtain on a rail that was arc-ed outwards - the curtain didn't slap around you as you showered. Bathroom products that not only smell nice, but didn't feel like the cheapest, driest washing liquid. Positioned right on top of the cruise terminal making it easy for us to travel onward. A really really nice place to stay.
Montse Albella Fernandez: Hotel precioso ,cómodo con unas habitaciones espectaculares .
Steve Wilkins: Stayed for four nights pre an Alaska cruise. We had a club deluxe double double room, which was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was adequate. Service was good from the staff we spoke with. Breakfast in the club lounge was of a high standard, and there is no need to pay extra for breakfast if you book a club room. I didn't think the hotel, in general, was of the same luxury as other Pan Pacific's I've stayed in. Nevertheless, I would recommend and stay again in the future.
Sylvain B: Easy check in by 10am, hours before their posted check in hours. An amazing location with a great view of the north shore and well set up room.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view …More

Chris Fowler: First time staying here and likely will try another hotel first if we have to stay in Vancouver again. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable . The staff were very pleasant and helpful and seemed happy to be working here.Bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. Pillows were a bit small and soft, but we had a good night sleep anyways. The reasons for for not getting more stars are:Parking is isn’t included, yes a small discount is given, and there was always someone patrolling the area, which a gave me piece of mind, but I have gotten security and parking included at hotels just up the street. Maybe it’s because I am not from the city, but $50+ for 24hrs of parking…. Ouch.No breakfast, or deals on food.TV, after a long day or running around, we couldn’t watch anything good or recent unless we wanted to pay. Now maybe I am wrong , but then it wasn’t clear how to watch anything good or recent.Didn’t try the internet.A hotel of this size, would be very difficult to paint and modernize, so I don’t mind that everything felt a bit dated.IMO not worth the price.
Benita Very nice!: We stayed here after disembarking from our cruise to Alaska to enjoy Vancouver for a couple of days. Be aware that this hotel does not provide any shuttles to the airport or anywhere else. Be prepared to pay for taxi service or tickets for the train, which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More

Loden Hotel: what do users think?
Steven: I've traveled internationally for more than 30 years and there are things that make a hotel great to stay in and The Loden Hotel, Vancouver BC, Canada, is one of those special hotels. It's got to be the best boutique hotel I've ever been at and ideal for a vacation. So what makes The Loden so good - everything! Super nice people working at the hotel who are pleased to help you in any way they can. And I mean - Super Nice! When planning to come, they wanted to know what we needed and if they could help in anyway. We arrived very early they stored our bags so we could enjoy the day.  When we came back, the room was ready, beautifully prepared and all our luggage was in the room. Attention to details in the room from the great beds/pillows/linens and fabulous bathroom to nicely stock refrigators, a safe, great coffee maker, and a large closet with lots of hangers. And I could go on and on for a long list of little details that makes the room great. Every night they brought fresh lemon water to the room. There's a great French Bistro attached to the hotel with in room dining. The lobby is very comfortable. Valet Parking with underground car lot. Think about how wonderful it is not standing line line with dozens of people waiting to check in and frustrated workers from trying to meet the needs of a 1,000 people. We used their special London Cab drop off service every night to go to dinner. So many hotels are cutting back on service but not The Loden. They specialize in making sure you have a great time in Vancouver. Please support businesses that are dedicated to their customers!Sent from my T-Mobile 5G Device
Madalyn Clemis: 5 star service! I stayed for 2 nights in Feb before heading to whistler and I've never had such amazing service. I wish I would have had time to check out the spa. I got the corner king and loved the views. Proximity was really good, walking distance to many different areas depending on your walking ability (we walked to the granville island ferry and gastown) and the concierge was so helpful!!!! Lots of luxury shopping close by. They had bikes available but what I loved was the short distance to the park on the water. Watching the sea planes was such a treat. I didn't eat at the restaurant next door but my sister commented that it was very good and we did stop for a drink one night which was lovely. I had some time in Vancouver before my flight out after a week in whistler and the hotel was so lovely, letting me leave my luggage while I explored. The customer service was so amazing, 5 stars doesnt give it justice 🙌
Jack Cook: Thank you for a wonderful stay!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Gareth Anderson: I am glad my wife and I chose the Loden hotel, to celebrate and spend some special time together. The staff made our 2 nights stay an amazing experience!!! Special thanks to Stanislav for going above and beyond. We most definitely will be back!!
Jadin: Amazing! I stayed one night at The Loden with my partner and it was absolutely fantastic. Staff are so friendly and helpful, the beds are incredibly comfortable and the rooms are quiet despite the location right in Coal Harbour (walkable to Stanley Park). Our only regret was not staying longer! Highly recommend!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet …More

Sheida Noroozi: We stayed at the Loden in the summer of 2022. An exceptional boutique hotel with attentive and friendly staff. I greatly appreciated the call a few days prior to our arrival asking how they can make our stay more pleasant. We had complimentary prosecco in our room when we first arrived. Rooms were excellent. In particular, they include a dyson blow dryer which meant I didn't need to bring my own. Valet parking was prompt and convenient. Central location - close to all major restaurants, shopping, and attractions in downtown. Highly recommend staying at the Loden!
C AD: The hotel was in a good location but unfortunately, I wasn't happy with my stay at the Loden Hotel. It's a lot of smoke and mirrors!Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Erik Johnson: Outstanding local, boutique hotel. Excellent warm customer service - with 24 hour staffed reception. Full gym on site with Equinox also about a block away. Tableau restaurant in the lobby is lovely and provides delightful room service. Elegant, light filled rooms with luxury bed linens. The property is about 15 years old, but well maintained. The Loden is an excellent choice for discerning travelers seeking a quiet, sophisticated hotel in a prime, central address. Highly recommended.
Wenter S.: What a great hotel experience. From the check in to the gym to the room. Will definitely be staying here again!
Richard Downey: What an excellent hotel, very big beautiful room, great bed, extremely quiet, excellent service, very nice gym and centrally located. Everything you could wish for
Indo Chohan: What an amazing hotel! The location, room and staff were top notch! Our new go-to hotel whenever we are back in Vancouver
Kelsey Keizur: We absolutely loved our stay at the Loden in the Luna suite. From the gorgeous amenities, to the incredibly helpful and kind staff - we wouldn't have have changed a single thing. Our very large dog, Hank, was also with us, and the staff was so welcoming to him. We can't wait to come back!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Tobias Barth: Best hotel and best services in town. We are going there whenever we're in Vancouver. Highly recommended.Rooms: Large rooms, comfy beds, big bathroom.
Avtar Singh: Beautiful boutique hotel coupled with great customer service. We arrived quite early but were assured our room would be ready asap and they delivered. Spacious one bedroom room with a welcome bottle of wine! Staff were amazing and the experience was second to none, will definitely be back again.Rooms: Corner bay windowWalkability: Robson street just two blocks away (shopping district)
Sydney Lauer: We stayed her for a weekend away and it was a lovely experience!! The staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The rooms are super clean and very modern. The restaurant attached is also amazing. Location is perfect for downtown. We plan to stay here every time we visit Vancouver!Rooms: Great rooms. Clean, modern, Dyson hair dryer.Nearby activities: Lots of restaurants nearby and the waterfront.
Mario D.: Schönes Hotel in guter Lage. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die laute Klimaanlage im Zimmer.
Denver Bingham: Staying at the Loden was fantastic, and the staff really ensured we had a seamless visit. From bringing a birthday treat to our room, to the turndown service, to charging my dead cellphone behind the counter after check-out… excellent customer service all around. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Vancouver!

Hotel BLU Vancouver: what do users think?
Fábio S: Bom hotel e bem localizado!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Icarus Skelly: Great location, right down town, but for 500 a night you'd think they'd remember to not leave a bag of someone's trash in your room, or clean up the drinks they knocked over while you were gone, or make sure your TV actually worked. Other than that, the real problem is the place is very haunted. Now I don't believe in spirits or astrology or anything, but my girlfriend and I BOTH had nightmares almost every night. Almost got stranded in the elevator after the card simply wouldn't work and we go soaring to someone else's floor when they called it only for no one to step in. Maddening.
Tyler Vogel: Service and staff are absolutely horrendous.. don’t stay here if possibleRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Shwanda Napoleon: Although there is no room service, the location is great and has many restaurants. Staff was friendly and so helpful.Rooms: Love the shower. A surprise for my partner and me.
Sonya Zhemchuzhnikov: Room 321 has a window into the bathroom with a curtain that is controlled from the outside. There were cockroaches in the curtain, and heating takes ages to warm up. Not to mention the fire that caused us to vacate at 6am: We were not notified. However the location was 2 minutes away from ballet bc.Rooms: Cockroaches.Safety: We were not notified about the fire in the building next door at 6AM.
Cam S.: This was our 2nd stay at Hotel BLU and it was fantastic. Front desk staff were upfront and honest about extra charges, detailed our fees, and were more than willing to accommodate our requests. (Corner room, extra parking, late checkout, etc etc)We will certainly be staying again for our future Rogers Arena or BC Place related events.
Anson Garaba: Awesome little hotel right across the street from the BC place. Rooms are great, as is the service. Has all the amenities that are expected from a hotel of this caliber, like a breakfast area, a pool and a gym. Hotel rooms aren't higher than the fifth floor of the building so views may not be notable but the inside more than makes up for that. Highly reccomend.
Rebecca Sullivan: Modern, Comfortable, Clean, Friendly Large Rooms, Bikes, SaunaRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Anna Scott: This was our second time staying here and it will be our last. When we got our room the floor was so dirty, there was dust all over the tables too. We called down and a housekeeper came up and said her vacuum was broken earlier. She did a literal one minute vacuum of half the floor and left, leaving it still grossly dirty. The sheets had holes in them and the windows were so dirty we almost couldn't see out. Not what you expect for $400 a night. They only comped our parking for the whole ordeal. Not impressed, will not stay here again.
Aaron: Found the hotel welcoming with supportive staff. The details were thoughtful from coffee to electronics. Our standard room had a European size shower (tiny). It was a short uphill walk to the shopping district. Good close options for dining. The hotel has residence condos onsite and is surrounded by other condos. Sports stadium is a block over. We ate breakfast at the 2nd floor restaurant and it was very good.
Eryka N: Hassle free stay for the fam!!!Hotel Blu did not disappoint. I am very meticulous whenever we go to any hotel, but was very impressed by how clean the room is. Location is great very close to much everything. Parking is good and the staff are all helpful and nice.
Dwayne Meredith: There were several of my out of town employees in Vancouver for an event. At the time of booking, we were told an early check in would not be a problem. Check in was 4pm. I arrived at 2 was told the room was not available but would be placed on priority. Other employees were checked in after I arrived. Several other hotel clients arrived after me. They did get me in at 4pm, but come on. Their staff gave me lip service and fell back on their 4pm checkin policy. BS. Not helpful at all. And one not happy client. Room was nice and clean, but was left with a sour taste.
tia rodrigue: After a horrible stay at the river rock hotel we decided to visit our original choice (hotel blu) and I have to say from the moment I walked through the doors the service and atmosphere was amazing. The hotel was so clean and really made us feel special. The small details like a welcome letter and lollipops on the table was so nice. The pool was amazing and We will for sure be back to try out the fitness center. 5 star ⭐️
Andrew Hiob: This hotel was everything I hoped for. When we checked in I mentioned that I was here in celebration of being cancer-free. We were upgraded to a suite and presented with a personal note congratulating me on beating cancer. It was incredible service which went above and beyond anything we expected. The hotel itself was clean and all the staff were super friendly. Martha checked us in and she saw us in the hallway the next day and greeted us by name and asked how we liked the room. We will stay here again! We were upgraded to one of the suites. It was massive. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. There were 2 televisions in the room with the largest one being in the bedroom.Rooms: Comfortable beds. Dyson hair drier in the washroom. Massive amount of space.Nearby activities: Delicious seafood restaurant right next door. Within walking distance of hundreds of stores and attractions in downtown Vancouver.Walkability: I have back problems and was able to walk to many Vancouver attractions like Science World and the Art Gallery

Luck Rasoanilana: From the moment we checked in, Melissa from reception was exceptionally welcoming and inviting! She was knowledgeable about the city, was enthusiastic when talking to us, and was enjoyable to chat with. The Hotel is indeed blue like the name, which makes for a calming aesthetic and chill vibe. The room was spacious and clean, service was good, and the Hotel's location is downtown/near many downtown areas. The hotel also offers free 4-hour bike rentals which saved a lot of hassle. The rooms came with your typical toiletries, bath robes, etc. but one thing we found thoughtful was the included umbrella which was one less thing to pack to deal with the Vancouver rain. The pool/hot tub were medium-sized and busy sometimes.Would recommend!
Maddie Rivera: Melissa at reception made our experience! We had a rough day getting to Vancouver and she made our night. We arrived super late with a toddler and doggo. Melissa was super mindful about accommodating our needs. She is a really great person and I appreciate her humour. We would definitely stay here again simply from the impression she left on us. Also, unsure if it was just our room, but the shower set up is super cool! You can see the shower from the bed!If you’re bringing a pet, there’s a super sweet dog “terms and agreements” to sign. It’s very cute!!Rooms: Perfect size and cool shower set up!Nearby activities: Great to stay at if you’re into hockey!Safety: Vancouver in general felt safeWalkability: Lots of nearby places to eat and drink at. You could walk one block and have a whole new selection of places to visitFood & drinks: Great options around you!

They are super friendly, helpful and go out of their way to accommodate you. The rooms are clean, nice and as for the location it's in the heart of downtown, steps away from the Convention center and Art gallery. I highly recommend it.

Ryan H: A bit pricey at $250 / night, but great service, great location, great service and very clean rooms
Soly Abdelhamid: I had a disappointing experience at Soleil. I booked with hotel lesoleil over the phone instead of 3rd party because the associate assured me a $156 rate was locked in for the two nights. After repeating my email numerous times, the associate never sent me the confirmation email because my email address was mis-spelled. At checkout, the nightly rates were drastically different and the associate I was discussing this with was very much adamant that it is what it is. Over the length of our stay, we had multiple encounters that weren’t very pleasant, as no one met us to take our baggage and we waiting a while with our car parked in front of the building over -although we purchased valet and it was obvious with one of the guys working that he would only be nice or helpful if he received a large tip.
Eselkaydee Cbn: Rooms: We booked a room for today, and we specifically requested for a 2 twin bed as we are coming with kids, however when we reached our designated room, they gave us one queen size bed that will not even fit 3 person. Its so frustrating that you already tired from a trip and you are expecting to have a good rest but unfortunately we cannot, because of the room bed size that was given to us! And they said they cant do anything for that!
Anthony Phillips: Nice stay ,staff were extremely friendly and helpful .The bed was uncomfortable though. The price through Expedia was more than reasonable! I would stay again !Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great value, High-tech …More

Fairmont Waterfront: what do users think?
Stefanie Wills: The staff, location, and food is the reason why I’m giving this place two stars. However, the rooms are very outdated and rundown. I’ve literally stayed in better two star hotels. There were no outlets at all on one side of the bed. There was noise from both the hall and outside of my room from the ships. It was very difficult to get any quiet time. I asked for a room move but was told the only renovated rooms go up to a certain floor. The photos are very misleading. The view from my room was nice but had to pay for the upgrade. Also, no mini fridge, only those annoying fridges that if you move anything you get auto charged. So tacky. Also, the shower/bath combo is old and tiny.I checked out and went to the fairmont pacific rim down the street and so happy I did!
Thib_ F: Great experience in family . Service was so nice and very good dishes at the restaurant , great hot pool thanks for all the employee. I will come back for sure! I highly recommend this place

Fairmont Hotel Vancouver: what do users think?
Sarah Greenwood: An exceptionally modern hotel, room, bar/restaurant - everything you would expect for a very healthy price! Or should I say, top dollar. Amazing experience form the minute we stepped foot on the driveway out front. Exceptionally nice staff, healthy food and delicious drinks. The hotel rooms are like luxury condos, however, the TV's could do with an upgrade.
Jay Joyce '74: Disappointing at best...My wife and I stayed as part of a Regent Cruise Lines off-ship Vancouver excursion. We have stayed at various Fairmont hotels in the past, and always had a great experience. Not this time. After the first evening, we went to breakfast with what we thought was plenty of time to spare. Upon arrival at the Notch8 maitre d's desk, we were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait for the breakfast buffet - even though we could see numerous empty seats in the dining room. They explained they were short-staffed. I asked to see the hotel manager, and only the desk manager was present. I expressed my concern, and said that at a minimum, we should have been told when we checked into the hotel to expect delays in breakfast service (because we had a morning time commitment). He was not aware of the problem. When I said that I would like to speak with the General Manager about the problem, he indicated that the GM had not yet arrived, and he did not know when he would. However, he said that he would have the GM contact me. The GM never contacted me.The make-up mirror light in our room was not working upon arrival. The next morning (same day as the breakfast problem) I stopped by the Front Desk, and the receptionist logged in the problem and said they would have it fixed that day. When we arrived back in our room that evening, it still had not been fixed. I called and they said that someone would be up to fix it. An hour later no one had appeared, and I called again. Same response - they'd get someone up to fix it. An hour later, after no one appeared, I went to bed.Next Day - breakfast - no problem - they had opened more space, leading me to wonder why they could not have seated us at an empty seat the day before...?At 8:15 AM, asked to see the manager to discuss my concerns; same desk manager appeared and said that GM was not in yet. I told him about the lack of response regarding the maintenance problem, and that the GM had not contacted me the day before. Polite reaction, but no actionable response on his part. When we left the hotel at 8:30, the GM had still not arrived. We were told by one of the dining staff team that there have been recent cuts in hours. How can this be possible if you're already not providing the level of service that Fairmont guests have come to expect? After three visits to Vancouver over several years - all at Fairmont Hotels - we will NOT stay at this hotel again, and not recommend it to others.
Taylor Rockefeller: Stayed here with my husband and 2 young kids. Very kid friendly without being a "kid" hotel. Room service food was average, and our bathroom was a little small, but the staff was all 10/10 fantastic. We can't wait to stay here again, either as a romantic getaway or as a family-friendly option. Great location with city views. I can't compliment the staff or environment here enough!
Mitchell Edwards: Beautiful Hotel with tons of history.Super friendly and helpful staff.Defiantly recommebd
Geraldine Henry: Our whole trip was a positive experience from before we arrived; to bellhop service, to extra assistance required with AC and figuring out amenities. Our breakfast before departure was top notch. Each staff member was kind and courteous. Thank you for helping us make the most of our little trip for our kids soccer. We always look forward to our time here. Thank you!Safety: Options for shopping and dining our were all close by. It is nice to have the downtown core experience and be safe and comfortable.Walkability: Excellent location for making the most of our time here.Food & drinks: Always love the quality of care that goes into our food while we are here.

Bernard Beck Jr: Had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel as we were getting ready to depart for a cruise. Staff was AMAZING. Will Lin took exceptional care of us during check-in, and was readily available with any assistance that we required during our stay, including being most professional in always calling us by name. The bell and parking staff were also extremely polite and professional. A ten minute walk to the pier and convention center, this location is near anything that you would require including a massive amount of restaurants and bars. The room was fantastic, clean, and we were fortunate (thanks to Will Lin) to get a room with an awesome view of the port.
Matteo Bocci: 4,5 stars. I spent five nights in this hotel for a business meeting. It is impressive how this huge hotel is run in a seemingly effortless fashion. Everything was really good. My room was spacious, clean, with an excellent view. The bed incredibly comfortable, and the service almost impeccable. The only minor point I believe can be improved is the coverage and speed of the Wi-Fi connection. Perfectly located, really convenient to walk pretty much anywhere in the city. Thank you for having me & looking forward to another stay!
Mehsam Sunny: Funny place to work at. They don't hire many people from south America , Asia, middle East , Russia to work in front office , guest services, restaurants and servers.

Shangri-La Vancouver: what do users think?
Brandon Lawrence L. Yu: Just look how beautiful the chandelier is in the lobby! I checked in for a day nights and I was greeted with a luxurious room with a tv in the tub wow! That took it to a new level the bags were there as quickly as possible I just love how nice this room is king sized bed and a couch bed wow I could not believe that it was the best room I’ve got it was not that crowded but great staff and I also enjoyed the buffet and the room service!.
James Song: I stayed with Shangri-la Vancouver which I booked with Amex Fine Hotel program, but that is not fine !!!I had bad experience for breakfast , so I complaint to the manager at reception, at that time, he said he will give me upgrade for next stay and free spa service for 4 people, cause this time is little bit too rush , and said will meet me when I check out !BUT !!! when I check out , he was not there , the front desk lady told me he is in meeting and send me follow up mail , but it's already 3 days, I didnt receive anything from them, not even my receipt,I FEEL CHEATED !!!!! this is not a 5 star hotel's service ! if you can't handle the complaint , do not lie to the customer!!!!I've beed stay with a lot of 5 star hotels , even those are not AMEX Fine Hotel's Program , they are doing better than this Hotel !!!Please give me an update see what they can do for me, and what Amex can do for me ,Thank you

Dëmin Photography (Wedding Photographer): As a wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of working in Shangri-La Vancouver and it is truly exceptional. The elegant and inspiring event spaces provide the perfect backdrop for any couple looking to create a unique and memorable wedding experience. It offers a range of sophisticated spaces to choose from. The private Terrace is a stunning location for couples to exchange their vows, with its floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing the beauty of Vancouver. The natural daylight and unparalleled city views create an unforgettable setting for any wedding ceremony. The Conway Ballroom is the ideal space for couples looking to host a larger reception. As a wedding photographer, I appreciate the attention to detail and dedication that the team at Shangri-La Vancouver brings to an event.Overall, I highly recommend the Shangri-La Vancouver as a wedding venue. It offers elegant and inspiring spaces, as well as exceptional service, making it the perfect location for any couple looking to create a unique and unforgettable wedding experience.
James Hooland: Make sure to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking your hotel. This site will compare hundreds of booking web sites and normally will have prices a lot cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of the best in the area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't be let down. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The service was fast, and welcoming, and I felt so seen and valued my entire stay! Excellent front desk staff, solid room service options, and it smells AMAZING.
stella chen: The room is large and the scent of essential oils is comfortable. The plane can see that it is all glass buildings, and the location in the city center is very good.
C Kong: Plenty of parking below the hotel. Google always takes you to the front but just remember to turn right on Alberni and not Georgia while you’re on Thurlow street. Valet is $54 I believe and you can pay for overnight parking as well. It’s bright so it feels safe. Every staff we encountered was nice and pleasant. Elevator area was small. 3rd floor has the restaurant Carlino which had great food. If you go during breakfast there’s live music which is a treat to listen to. 5th floor has your pool/jacuzzi. Pool is spacious but jacuzzi was always packed. 24 hour workout facility had a good amount of equipment. Was clean and quiet. The spa had a nice and accommodating front desk person. The couples spa suite was nice but you could hear all the traffic from outside. The room we had was spacious. View was beautiful! Lots of toiletries, tub was huge, there were welcome cookies that were delicious. I’d come here again as it was a great place to stay at. It was also very close to Robson st which had lots of shops and restaurants.
Rodolphe Vanesse: A small and cozy hotel , great service, beautiful suite , great location
Rohin Khanna: It’s a Amazing Hotel I stayed for 3 nights, best part is their Bar! Nolan is most knowledgeable person I ever meet about scotch and drinks. Must visit.
Susan: Recently came back from a 3-night stay here and have to say it definitely ranks high on the list of best hotels I've ever stayed in.The service was impeccable from check-in to check-out, the rooms are very spacious, clean and quiet, and breakfast every morning at Carlino's was a delight (thanks to our lovely server every morning!). Overall, it truly felt like a luxury stay.My only remark to make is that on one of the days, there was a very large and rowdy group of guests in the pool, disturbing us (and other guests), and the attendant didn't say anything about this - however, our stay was perfect other than this particular moment.Would definitely recommend a stay here!
Layza Viana: I went for Shangri-La Hotel to Weeding Party. I loved that place. It's comfortable and fancy.Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Liana W.: Great RMT massage. Outdoor mineral hot tub.Go early and enjoy the spaceWalkability: Right downtown, easy to walk to
Jessica Nelson: Booked a 60 min massage with Jeff. He was extremely attentive and focused on the areas I needed most. Left feeling super relaxed and pampered! They offer snacks and tea in the lounge area. If you have a chance, check out the outdoor pool for a quick dip.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a place in the city to unwind.

La Grande Résidence at Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver: what do users think?
Kristina S: We booked a 2 bedroom apartment unit. The staff were very nice. Overall our unit was okay, had all the space we needed. But the unit was not updated or cleaned very thoroughly. Pool/hot tub/steam room/change room was good. Gym was poor quality, no AC, was so hot inside and not clean. Equipment was okay
Albert ShiueNH: Nice hotel, little bit noisy inn the day time not inn the night is quite
angello moreno: Surprised on the size and the price was right. The view was magnificent and I will be returning to this hotel on my next trip.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Quiet, Great value …More
Elle: What you need to know or what I had wished I had known before making reservations here was that the hotel is under construction. I only found this out when I received an email confirming the details of my stay the night before so too late to cancel.Service and rooms 1 star - Long story short, the toilets in our suite (2 bed and 2 bath) stopped working at 10pm at night. I became aware of this as there were loud gurgling sounds coming from the bathrooms. After the staff tried to fix the toilets, we were moved to another suite (now it's around 11pm) and we have to pack everything up and move. Anyone with kids could imagine what this would be like... Naturally, there was a discussion between myself and the Manager about being compensated for this. However when I went to check out the details of this agreement were nowhere to be found and so it was not honored.Regarding my two star rating for location, while the location is ideal, it's essentially the same as the majority of the other hotels located downtown Vancouver. However, in retrospect, I think the hotels located near Coal Harbour would be quieter. The hotel is located just a few blocks down from a hospital so you hear sirens throughout the day and night. There is more to add but honestly I just want to put this disappointing experience behind me.Consider yourself warned. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Vasileios Filippidis: One star for room service and one star for the upgrade to suite .Everything else was mediocre to bad. The gym was super dirty, dust and hair all over the floor and the steam room was so bad that we didn’t go in.We got charged an extra 20 Cad for another random tax (Canada is full of those surprises anyway - never expect to pay what you think you would pay or what the price tag says) and the reception initially told us was due to fx and while I showed them it wasn’t they said it’s due to this new tax they haven’t notified us about .
Peter Sedin: A fantastic place to stay while in Vancouver, the rooms are great and the staff even better. Amenities in the hotel such as the spa and gym areas are also very good.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Andrew Davis: 2 nights into a 5 night stay, and confident leaving a 5 star review. Great layout (1 bedroom suite), amazing location walking distance from anything you could ever need. Yes, the AC unit is loud but it drowns out busy street noise. Staff have been excellent, helping us with every request, including helping our son when the patio door came off the tracks and he was stuck out on the balcony! 😂
Debbie Madick: We reserved a suite, 2 bedroom for 3 nights. We called as we disembarked from our cruise and were told we should be able to check in early. Got to the hotel and we’re told the people that were in our suite had a late check out but could give us a different suite that would be available at 2:00. We returned at 2:00 to be told the suite wasn’t ready, but should be ready by 3:00. We sat in the lobby and checked back at 3:00 and were told don’t worry, you’ll definitely have it by the guaranteed check in time of 4:00. Finally by 5:30 after sitting in the lobby, without anyone checking on us or even offering us a free cocktail or bottle of water for 3 1/2 hrs., we finally got into our suite…5:30!!! My husband gave the bell man a hefty tip to bring us ice, as we really needed a drink after the ordeal, we never did get the ice and had a warm vodka! We wound up missing our dinner as a result. I went to have a soak in the bathtub only to find there was no plug. They told us they would run one right up..after 3 nights of asking, we never did get one! I wound up shoving a washcloth into the drain. The quality of the room definitely was not a 4 star..maybe 2 star. Don’t think the LaGrand wasn’t that grand.
Linda Feldhaus: Central to many restaurants and and has helpful friendly staff. Provides many spaces to quietly meet and chat on the main floor.
Kenardo Jones: The staff are really professional and the manager is awesome I'd recommend to everyoneRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Lannie Jones: Such a beautiful place to stay in Vancouver. A very clean hotel and the staff are very approachable, helful, friendly and knowledgeable about Vancouver and its close to all shopping center, restaurants and sight seeing water front view.. If you love to shop in LUIS VUITTON, HERMES,and etc.over all my family and I enjoying our stay here for 8 days. I highly recommend this hotel.
remco van der meer: Looking for a great ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️hotel in downtown Vancouver? Skip everything else and go here.
Jeff Knaggs: Amazing service and style!
J G: Delayed check in, room was under construction. Check in staff was severely disorganized. Very frustrating experience for the money paid. Definitely consider other options for your stayRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5 …More
Freddie Mastro: Staying in recently renovated room, view is ok, but room is great, great sheets and bathroom. Stayed here years ago, but the update is worth the price.
Huzbuzz: Great location with easy access to Robson and downtown. Stayed in a residence suite this time and enjoyed the stay. Fantastic sleep on comfy bed!
Eric Leclair: Mark greets you with a great smile and demeanour. After that its downhill. This was our third stay at Sutton, and might be our last. This othertime prestigeous hotel is run rown and dirty. Not even close to what it used to be. The staff are still the best though.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 3/5 …More
