Caulfeild Park | West Vancouver: what do users think?
W T: As I say, any park is a good one. Small park but peaceful. Down the hill on Piper"something"road is another with oceanside rock bluffs and great views!

Paula Francisca Contreras Espejo: Is amazing

Oscar Gutierrez Anguiano: great trail run!, quiet and fun with a swim ending at the beautiful private-ish beach
Autumn Rain: Gorgeous 💗
Brody Isaak: The view is nice but there isn’t much level ground to set up your chairs. If you’re planning on stopping by I’d recommend a foam pad to sit on as there’s lots of rocks as you can see by my photo.
nolwenn Guilmain: Really pretty Little park. The point view is awesome. At just 20min from Surrey or Burnaby.Good spot for pic nic . Calm.Nobody else was There.Good place for Do some Drone video or picture.
jose castillon: Great
Peter Mann: Beautiful and peaceful :)😍
Michael Beresford: Beautiful!
Tasha Oliver: Beautiful sunset
Louise Gobert: Rugged, beautiful!
Robert W: The park is nice and has a great view of Stanley Park and Vancouver. Some localism here.Edit: I thought I would elaborate on the localism. There are some cranky locals quick to run out their homes and yell at you if you drive your vehicle from the parking stalls back up the hill for about 20 metres. Its a very poorly signposted one way road and you are supposed to go the long way round. My advice to you if this happens is to give these unpleasant old folk a piece of your mind and ask them to write to West Van council about the poor signposting.
gabby p: hidden gem! parking can be tough!

Deep Cove Kayak Centre: what do users think?
Leah D'Souza: we rented a tandem kayak for a couple hours. it was such a lovely experience. we came here on a long weekend and they were all booked up for the day but we got a spot the following day, early morning. the staff were friendly and professional.parking can be an issue during peak hours/weekends/holidays.
Nick Cipp: Superb outing!
ADITYA SHARMA: Even though there were a lot of empty boats you guys are not able to rent boats due to insufficient staff. It’s very disappointing to hear this.
Qianyi Wong: I had an amazing experience joining the Island Explorer Tour with Deep Cove Kayak Centre! The area we paddled in was scenic and we got to visit a few islands (only accessible by water), which was cool! Ben is a knowledgeable guide, and helped to point out the wildlife around the area and explain how the surrounding terrain was formed. He also recommended the Quarry Rock hike which is walking distance away from the kayak centre and it was well worth it!The tour also included a sandwich, donut (Honey’s) and bottled drink for lunch on one of the islands! I would suggest putting on lots of suncream and bring a hat and sunglasses as it gets pretty hot and sunny midday!
Mila Bozinovski: Always enjoy coming out to this space for a paddle. The views are stunning, there is always parking available somewhere within the neighborhood - its a short distance away.Enjoy the Staff & their knowledge & help with setting up some of the guests I like to bring out - this I'd an excursion I definitely recommend to anyone visiting me from out of town.
Josh Norquist: I recently took the 2-day Paddle Canada Level 1 Skills course over a weekend. The course was awesome and packed full of great lessons! Hannah was a great instructor and took her time to explain everything in detail and demonstrate all of the skills! Booking was easy and communication afterwards was great! They even emailed the day before to warn that parking would be more difficult than usual due to a race the next day in Deep Cove. All the gear you need is provided and was in good condition. Highly recommend Deep Cove Kayak for lessons and rentals. I'll definitely be back.
Sun Ponzu: friendly staff and fair price.
Amy Poulston: Did a 3 hour kayak capsize and recovery course with Spencer and Miranda and they were great instructors! Glad to have the safety knowledge for going out on the water
Rain Scott: Took Paddle Canada One recently. The instructor was very knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. I learned a lot. One note: The very thin, loosing fitting wet suits provided by Deep Cove kayak are not adequate for cold spring days for immersion. I was shaking! I’d recommend bringing your own proper wet suit or having other strategies for managing the cold.
Mandy Johnston: Friendly Staff, Great Place for a Moonlight Paddle!
Harrison Gao: Amazing customer service, they are responsive by phone and email! These people are wonderful to work with
Jongwan Kim: Quick and easy to rent a kayak. The staff is kind and helpful in answering questions and recommending kayak spots!
WILLIAM REN: What a wonderful day!Deep Cove is a beautiful seaside village at the eastern edge of North Vancouver. I love to go there with my families for walks, hikes, kayaking and paddle boarding. The little sandy beach is nice for swimming. Along the paved pathway, you could walk appreciating the white clouds in water, listening to the birds singing, letting the breeze touching your face, Nice! For lunch, I would like go to ArMS BeaCH BiSTrO to have a beer for relaxing
Vicki Koersen: Mike was our guide for our two hour excursion on the rainiest Saturday in April 2023. We were able to get out to Jug Island and had a wonderful trip. Mike is very knowledgeable and seems very happy being on the water. Even though we were soaked through to skin, we had an amazing time!
Catalina Albury: We had a small error with scheduling, but the folks at Deep Cove Kayak were very understanding and made it right with us. Beautiful scenery and skilled guides
Stephen E: Great service perfect location
Ziad Ragab: Took the 3 hour winter tour with Thomas. The best thing to do in your weekend. He was really nice and helpful and the scenery is amazing.
yossy Nuñez: Buen lugar para ir a pasear
Ivi Ju: Einfach nur schön. Mitarbeiter erklären alles geduldig. Preise ok. Würde gerne wieder ne paddeltour machen.
Cenk Ozkan: Great friendly staff, easy going and super helpful. I go every year at least couple times to take a kayak out and recharge. Great place to see wildlife (kayaked with some seals) and take your time kayaking around.
Jessica W: Great location and good views. Prices are fair. In terms of parking if it’s going to be a busy day get there early. Deep cove does not have a designated lot and deep cove gets busy on weekends. Staff is friendly. They also have bathrooms on site.

Quarry Rock: what do users think?
Hiroshan Gunawardane: Very easy hike. You can take a straight bus from downtown, and you can reach deep cove within 40 mins. There are great cofee shops, restaurants and a picnic area in the deep cove. Round-trip hike is about 1.30hrs. The trail is very crowded during weekends and holidays. Won't need a lot of planning, but try to choose a bright day to get the best experience.
Shonnah: It’s a good hike for someone beginning it if you want to do a short workout. Really nice trail and greenery is amazing. Go early because it’s pretty busy.Recommended activities Walking, Hiking, Dog Walking …More
Upkar singh: If you are new in Vancouver and looking for a place to visit for a leisure activity then you must visit Quary rock hike.It is located in north Vancouver. You can go by your own vehicle or by public transport. You need to take bus which you can get after reaching waterfront station. It will take 40mins to reach there. It's a beautiful place with scenic views and before the Quary rock you will also get the Deep cove park. This is easy hike and hardly takes 30-40minutes.Views are awesome once you reach on the top.Restrooms: There is a restroom neae the Deep cove park.Public Transportation: There is good bus connectivity.
Michelle B: Have good shoes, bring water. The beginning starts rough but it evens out afterward and have good alternation before stairs/flat surface. Wear good hiking shoes as unstable and rocky. Transportation was easy and come fairly often. Recommend!Public Transportation: Easy to locateDog-friendliness: I see dog without leash. All were friendly.
Erica Ngan: Tried this hike after the years long closure, it had new stair ways and paths making it an even easier hike. It's a quick, short uphill climb with great views and not a lot of work. Considered easy but I think the sign said intermediate, it's completely doable with little kids. There are bridges and lots of water to see along the way, very scenic and height seems minimal when hiking!
Kamalneet Singh: It's perhaps the busiest trail in Metro Vancouver. It was perfect, except for some people blaring music from their speakers. There are a lot of stairs along the way. And also several creeks with bridges. The view at the end is gorgeous. But if you want just the view without the hike, go to Burnaby Mountain.Restrooms: In Panorama Park, a short walk from the trailhead.Public Transportation: Well connected by bus.
Glayton Junior: Recommended activities Hiking Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Paid parking lotMore
Elf: Beautiful easy hike.Recommended activities Hiking …More
june june: 5월 평일 11시쯤 도착했은데 딥코브 주차장이 꽉차서 쫌 떨어진 Myrtle Park에서 주차해놓고 트레일 입구까지 15분 걸어감. 트레일입구에서 쿼리락까지 안쉬고 대략 40분정도 걸렸어요. ^^;
Phát Lê: Great place for a quick hikeRecommended activities Walking, Hiking, Running …More
Rakshitha Shetty: It was very beautiful hike trail till the quarry rock and the view from above was magical.Fees: It's free!!Public Transportation: It is well connected by public transportation.Dog-friendliness: The dogs can be unleashed after a certain point.
Alexander Lee: The scenery here is wonderful.
Paul Taylor: As part of a day out to Deep Cove this short hike is an understandable attraction and almost certainly a better bet than only eating Honey's iconic donuts. I should declare I'm a resident but genuinely here are the downsides. Parking is a massive problem in deep cove. I would find it stressful driving around in the village looking for a spot, so maybe park further out and walk in. Definitely do not got past the parking lot on Panorama, because there is no visitor parking and it is frustrating for the locals waiting for people to figure it out as they drive slowly down, turn around around come all the way back the same way.Another great tip is not to miss the trail head for Quarry rock on the left, not far after the park ends on the right. Many groups seem to miss the sign post and keep walking to the marina at the end of Panorama Drive thinking you can access it from there - which you cannot. The old access point that was there is boarded up by the district using a 10ft piece of plywood. Not a good use of your time. The trail up to the rock is busy at most times of the day, is maintained well and challenging enough if you are not a regular hiker. The view is cool and worth the effort but honestly, it is not epic. Still, when you package it up with a day in deep cove you're going to have an awesome day out and not be disappointed.Restrooms: Public washrooms in the park are kept clean
Tom Roohan: Decent hike, great views. Was very busy on a Sunday. The rock itself can get quite crowded towards the sheer edge so be careful!
Joachim Dorn: Recommended activities WalkingMore
NYC hopper: Beautiful trail . Be ready to take lots of stairs . We completed this trail on a rainy day with kids. Highly recommended it if you love hiking 😊Recommended activities Walking, Hiking, Birdwatching …More
Hamid: If you're looking for a fun and rewarding hike in the Vancouver area, Quarry Rock is a must-visit! This popular trail is now open to the public again after repairs, so you can enjoy the stunning views without any interruptions. The trail is easy to navigate and won't take up too much of your time - only about 40 minutes to reach the top! But don't let the ease of the trail fool you, because the views from the summit are absolutely breathtaking. You'll be surrounded by gorgeous scenery that's sure to leave you in awe. So whether you're a seasoned hiker or just starting out, Quarry Rock is a fantastic destination for all. Lace up your hiking boots, head out on the trail, and prepare to be blown away by the natural beauty of Quarry Rock! The negative side of this trial: it can get too busy during the holidays, I usually go on a Friday morning and It is not busy at all.
Mitch Goulet: Exceptional view! A must see if you have time during a visit to the city. The path is well-maintained and has boardwalk and stairs. Out-and-back time is around 30 minutes from Deep Cove.Note that the trail starts early on Panorama Drive. Look for a crosswalk and the entrance on the left side of the street.
Julie H (Jules): Recommended activities Hiking, Dog WalkingMore
Jia Yun: Started the hike from the bus stop. It's a relatively doable 1hour+hike up to the quarry rock. It's a mixture of some soiled tracks with wooden stairs, so be sure to wear proper covered shoes in case of muddy terrains due to rainy weather. The view is awesome at the quarry rock. Took less time when hiking down back to catch the bus.
James: Very busy trail - had to wait 5 minutes for parking at Panorama park. Don’t bother going past park to find closer parking because it’s for residents only. Easy access to trailhead, just follow the signs.Beautifully maintained trail with plenty of boardwalk and footbridge to entertain everyone. Takes about 30-35 minutes to reach summit that was packed on a Tuesday noon hike. Please be careful if you’re bringing little ones or small pets because summit is wide open and dangerously steep. Easy to lose foothold and fall - which would result in broken bones or death. This will also close the trail again. Last but not least pack out your garbage, saw so many along the trail.
