Urban Source: what do users think?
Stacie S: Very cute little store. It's small and there were a lot of people when I went in Monday afternoon, kids and adults. Fun craft store if you're needing a certain amount of small supplies for a project. Seemed like decent prices.
Kate T: I adore this place, new stuff all the time, and even more obscure bits that aren't on display if you ask nicely! Employees are wonderful and supplies are great.
Robert Kent DesRochers: Love it 🙂
Ellen Wong: Love the idea of this store! Has all sorts of bits and pieces of art materials at reasonable prices when you're only looking for a small piece.

Deborah Griffin: We love this place! So many good craft supplies. It's a creative reuse place as well as having a few brand new items, so it's great for sparking creativity. Don't come here looking for specific items, though, as inventory is constantly changing.
Chie Watanabe-Scott: When I was taking an Early Childhood Educator course, my teacher recommended this store. I went there for my future practicum, and I enjoyed shopping at this store. While I was in there, my ideas popped up, I couldn't control myself. Thanks to this store, my creativity was being sophisticated.I painted peg dolls for my book extension, it was engaging with children. eye droppers are very helpful for art activity. If you are looking for something new in the education field, I would like to recommend this store.

Sandra Carter: You can find unique art materials here! It was not huge but it's alright considering how many art and craft supply stuffs were already available here. I found lots of adorable stamps that were perfect for my journaling hobby. The price is very affordable here too so it is nice to visit this place for your art supply needs.
Jennie Gonzalez: It is a little art supply store that I also like. I don't mind the little space we had, I find it exciting to look for various supply at top of one item and another. It is like a little art adventure. The owner is also helpful and very friendly. You can find a lot of interesting products here.
Vera Williamson: The place was nice. It was not huge but it has a good art supply as well. There are a lot of interesting products to look for. Michaels: what do users think?
Jamie Robinson: Such a big store with a wide array of many different craft supplies and storage loved it
A.C. S: Just not accessible, if you can't find pay parking. Walk and walk is only way around her.
Francesca Murray: Some items were overpriced in comparison to other stores
Art N.: Convenient location but they don’t really have a consistent restock on a lot of their products, unreliable in that aspect.
Stephen Chen: This shop nearly 1/2 of items are out of stock, hv no idea how they managing this
Lorraine Baker: Well organized. Friendly helpful staff. Some basic items seem to be low in stock the last few trips. Hopefully supply chain issues sort themselves out.
Nazeem Junggee: Best place to get a wide variety of art supplies. Prices are decent. Good customer service from friendly staffs.
Vincent Lee: I always love how organized and clean it is at this location. I come here once a year. But it's about an hour and a half visit... LolTodays find was by word of mouth. Terracotta pots and bases in all sides were there at REALLY affordable prices. I picked up 3 of each.My pots were $3.99 each and the base was $2.99 each. I have gone to Canadian tire and home Depot and they were prices extremely high.I highly recommend you come check out all these deals.
e: polite cashiers
Abigail Lo: Always a pleasure coming in here to buy supplies! Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Very inviting environment :)
Dominic Rechner: Great, diversified art and craft store, always lots of specials, parking below.
Carl “Budd” Stymiest UE: For those crafty ideas, check out Michel's on Broadway in Vancouver. Huge Sale on now.
Надежда Сорок: Мне понравилось, большой и просторный. Купил кое-что со скидкой.
Maryer Díaz: Love this place, it has everything you need for any craft you want to make, decorations, etc
Tracy Dreams will come: Large, clean-ish, bright, store with huge selection of majorly OverPriced items! Can rarely find any staff whatsoever !! And that's Michael's for ya!!!
Babs Gordon: Consistently friendly and helpful staff. Great selection for most crafts. Would highly recommend installing the app to help you plan your visits and keep apprised of current sales and stock levels. Avoid during lunch rush (everyone who has a little extra time while headed back to their desks will be there, myself included)! To help curb (or encourage) all your ADHD overspending urges, they also provide terrific coupons applicable to your next visit.Removing one star just on the basis of layout: there's a separate section on the left side of the store that's just so easy to overlook, and this place could really use a public washroom considering the typical length of a customer's visit.
SN: Nice staff but the stock at the store is NOT great; so many empty shelves. I wanted to buy embroidery floss because you can’t purchase it from Michael’s online and while the price was good, half the colours I needed weren’t available and the staff said there was no way of knowing when new stock would come in and to basically call twice a week when they get their shipments.
David Drezdoff: Easy to find items. Well organized and laid out.
Zhang Robin: This is a place where you can find all the craft things.
Neale Adams: Had what I needed. Friendly checkout.
Chris: Good selection of craft items.

Rath Art Supplies: what do users think?
Dave Druid: Best Place for getting Hobbist & Art Painting Supplies!
Negin Ata: As a painter I've had a lot of canvases stretched perfesionaly and I can say Rath is one of the best. She does very precise and clean work.Rath also has high quality canvases at great prices
Fardad Moayeri: Although we’ve bought some art supplies here (at good prices), we’ve used Rath primarily as a place to stretch our painted canvases for art shows. They’ve got a great job and provided great service and value. Great little indie shop.
Tuesday P.: Small store, friendly staff, good selection!
Iuliia Kuznetsova: A really good choise of supplies. I will definately return for more!
Jen Vanderleij: A lovely little store! I was guided to the metallic acrylics I was in search of, and they are beautiful and perfect for my needs! Great items for everything paint and beyond. Will definitely visit again.
Laurie Landry: I love how Teresa makes sure I have what I need, and if not, then makes sure to include it on her next order. I have ordered custom stretched canvases, quality paints such as Rublev, old Holland, and Williamsburg, and the only store that carried my favourite brushes. The store might be small, but it has the personalized shopping experience you can’t get in other stores.
Gillian: Great little community art store. They have a great selection of oil paints and carry brands that opus and desseres don't like Williansburg and KAMA. Also build great lightweight stretchers to order. I always send people here when they want stretchers because I have always been really happy with the work they do. The one thing is I wish they had some sort of discount for students or professional artists. I know it's a small shop but even a punch card or something helps justify the higher prices because I want to support local but let's be real, artists are not rolling in money.
Sandra Carter: It has enough art supplies. The owner was so kind and helpful. I got a few pens and notebooks. Lots of colors available too. The space is just right especially if only a few were inside. I found huge collection of inks here as well. Your art needs would surely be satisfied here.
Jennie Gonzalez: It was a nice art store with a lot of interesting art products. I bought a lot of colorful pens because I am doing journaling lately and I'm looking for several art supply to add to my journal stock. If you love painting, you would find canvas board and many paints here as well. It is a complete art store for me.
Esperanza Rodriguez: Rath is one of the best art supply stores for me. The staff were also knowledgeable and recommend brands that seem of nice quality. The place is organized and considering it is a smaller store than others, I'm surprised with several selections available. I bought a few to try them out. I'll update this review once I used them.
Michael Shumiatcher: They have a way better selection of professional qualityOil paint and mediums than any other art supply store in town that I know of. They also have great service and knowledgeable staff.
Raven Mack: Very helpful and knowledgeable.
Harry Mark: A Gem for artists! Love this place!
Makoto Brown: I visited here Rath Art supplies to purchase a couple items such as a wood board for painting, masking tape and specific size of paper pads. They didn't have any of these... Some items were sold out, or don't carry them.It is a small business so I understand they may have smaller inventory than bigger stores, but I would rather go to a larger store to find what I'm looking for. The owner is nice and friendly.
Kindred: Real awesome staff, really friendly (owner?) I think shes almost always running the shop since its a small independent store. Got quite the nice collection of supplies. They may not have everything but their sufficiently large collection will suffice considering the small store. Been here a few times and its my fav local art store. ❤
TYLER O: These guys are great. Super friendly and helpful.
Sean McLellan: Please list pricesAs I want to compare pricesIf I spending a few hundred dollars I want to compare prices with other stores
Vicky Van: Good independent art store.
Tristan Noone: small local hole in the wall art supply store. great staff, and I love supporting them anytime I'm in the hood. always something interesting to pick up.
Roxie Pepper: I came a few years ago and found the perfect book for making my wedding guestbook. Prices were very reasonable, and they carry a diverse supply of high quality goods, not limited to stationary. The lady at the front (shop owner?) was knowledgeable and personable and did not pressure me into purchasing anything. I would recommend and hope to come again.

Justyna Babski: Chris at Canadian Crafts was very helpful when I called the store for some last-minute gifts for clients. Haley Riley: I absolutely love Canadian Crafts! It’s an inviting shop with the best variety of high quality Canadian souvenirs and gifts. I loved my experience here in store, as well as online. I emailed Chris to order more from the shop, something that was available in store but not on the website. Chris was so incredibly helpful and picked up the item I asked for and sent it to my house. Chris had great communication with me through the entire transaction online. I ordered a zip up sweatshirt and it is my favorite one!! It’s very well made and a very comfortable cotton blend. Also, my item arrived so quickly! This shop has amazing staff and gifts. All of the goodies I found at Canadian Crafts have been lovely, everyone loves the ice-wine tea, maple tea, sweatshirts, maple syrup, candies and more. I love it here, it’s my favorite shop in Vancouver!
Rosi Hackl: Große Auswahl, freundlich Unterstützung ohne aufdringlich zu sein.
Lisa Ingelse: What a refreshing and amazing online shopping experience!-- Canadian Crafts was a JOY to work with. My order had some changes to be made and each and every interaction was prompt, efficient and professional. Chris went out of their way to help and was friendly and welcoming, and made a great impression! Each item purchased was also excellent quality and shipped quickly. I highly recommend CANADIAN CRAFTS!!
Haley Knight: I got my order very quick, and i enjoy my favorite maple syrup from Canada, the shipping was fast.
Ruth Meyer: Beautiful workmanship. I am so very pleased. Will definitely be buying more items as time goes on. Love the fact that all items are local made things. Makes me proud that we have such talent right here in BC.
Candice-May Davies: During our heaviest snowfall this winter we got our items delivered right to our doorstep personally from Canadian Crafts! Was beyond our expectations and we were so very grateful. Communication was excellent, service even better. So glad to be able to gift our relatives some of your pieces for Christmas!
Xiao Huang: Love the store! Very friendly staff and good souvenir products !
Cintia Simoes: Best Gift Store in Vancouver!!! We visited the store on Sunday, and my boyfriend got me a Moose Head Magnet - which got lost at airport security probably. I was devastated when I couldn’t find it in my bag, but upon calling the store, Chris and the whole team went above and beyond to make sure I could have it shipped to my house in NY. Great customer service and prices plus the most friendly and helpful staff!!! Thank you thank you thank you! ☺️
Bryan Altenburg: Canadian Crafts are an excellent and reliable business. We wanted some simple Canadiana gifts for family that live abroad. We found just that. The delivery was really quick, we were notified before and during the delivery and the person even checked in to hear where we wanted the items placed on our property. All the items were individually wrapped and in perfect condition.I highly recommend this business. Old school service!!
olga scorobogataya: Chris and his team are very hospitable, helpful and nice! Their store is super fun with a huge variety of great gifts and local souvenirs… I showed up 5 min before closing with a “must” complete gift box project and they were happy to help me and took extra time to pick out best items. Chris even went above and beyond and provided me box filing material so my gift box looked extra well put together! Thank you again! 🇨🇦❤️
Cheryl Phillips: My experience with Canadian Crafts was wonderful, Chris exchanged a ring for me that wasn’t quite right and he even had the new ring sized at no additional cost! I ordered the silver ring and spiral pendant which are just beautiful! Thankyou Chris for your amazing customer service, I will be back!
Sandra Canchig: Same day delivery! Really good customer service :) My husband loved his "Papa bear" Canadian socks.
Jonathan Poon: Thank you Chris! Your amazing customer service is always appreciated! Everyone check out this store! Support your local business they have lots of neat things in store and online!

Schedule: Closed ⋅ Opens 10AM

Telephone: +1 604-669-8021

Business type: Jewelry store

Circle Craft Store: what do users think?
Dan Pickles: Not a great return experience. The policy is store credit only, which is completely fine, but that wasn’t made clear to me when I purchased (outside of a sign on the counter which I did not see).Pointed this out to the clerk who helped return (that they should say out loud the exchange policy) and she just said “it’s our policy” and pointed to the sign without making eye contact. If the customer is not aware when leaving the store (original clerk said “returns available for 14 days”, did not say store credit only), probably something that could use improvement.I bought two pieces of jewelry for my gf as a surprise and returned one since it was not her style. Would not have bought both if I knew I’d only get store credit.
John Irvine: Really good products.
Nuri Jogja: Artistik. Harga sesuai. Pelayanan baik
Sandra Carter: It is a good place. I went there with some friends and I found interesting stuffs. There were also various accessories available along with bizarre figurines. If you're into collecting unique stuffs I guess it is worth it to visit this place. My friend bought a bracelet or necklace I really can't remember, I just wanted to tell the owners of this place that we appreciate our visit here.
Jennie Gonzalez: It was a nice store. My friend and I decided to take a look at the place and it was a good craft shopping. There are only a few products to choose from but they are very interesting. I like the bracelet I bought, my niece even liked it so I gave it to her. I would try to stop by again next time.
DL H: I had a wonderful experience at this Co- Operative gallery boutique store. I was always intrigued by the diversity of the ceramics presented, as I looked through the windows on my way to the public market or for my walks. The other day I noticed a particular piece in the window display that led me into the store to meet Karilee and Judy - who greeted me so professionally and in a warm manner. Upon noticing another piece by same artist, Sandra Dolph, both individuals were so diligent and helpful in elaborating on the artists and answering questions - an appreciated effort given their challenging busy store environment for many requests. I went back minutes later to purchase the item with the request to pick it up later. Upon a delay for picking up my vehicle from a service, Judy kindly waited after they were closed for me to pick-up the piece. The purchased item is stunning, one-of-kind and it blends in perfectly with my West Coast industrial taste - while representing my BC child hood and adulthood. I felt great supporting a BC artisan and this gallery. Thank you.
Michael Moriarity: Circle Craft Co-Operative is a special draw for us to visit each time we are at Granville Island..my wife is a potter and we have very delightful discussions about the ceramics and pottery that is displayed..we have several pieces of artwork-jewellery,glass and woodwork have always attracted our attention ….parking is free till 11 am..
Josh Engel: Great display of the local artists across a variety of mediums. A great place to find Christmas gifts or fill out your cupboards with glasses and dishware.
Pat Clayton: Yes this is a very nice store and the staff are great and help you out alot . They answer your questions to the best of their ability . I do recommend this place for sure
Octavio Rodriguez: Granville Island is a top rated destination in Vancouver for many reasons, one of them the variety of stores that can be found there. Among these is Circle Craft, a place that you must visit if you are looking for a one-of-a-kind item. This location showcases local artists and artisans, the creativity displayed is just awesome and includes ceramics, glassware, jewelry, clothing, etc. Prices are quite accessible, so please shop here on your next visit and show your support to our local talent!
Celine-Lise George: I got great service on the phone when i ordered the item on June 21. I arrived on the 22nd at 10.00 am to pick up the item. The store was still closed. I called and got voice mail, the store opened at 10.15 when an employee arrived. The doors were opened at 10.15. No apologies. I was handed the item i ordered and i had to remind the employee that i hadn’t paid for the item. Employee appeared mot to care either way
Boris Knackers: Nice art objects, staff not so much. Said hello and was ignored so I stayed longer just to annoy clerk.
Julian Worker: Great selection of items.
Anneke Smith: I'm not a quilter, however, I sure love going in and chatting and just looking at All Those Colours and Patterns...
Robert Wicks: Mix of artists, really enjoyed several of them. Beautiful shop to stop by at!

DeSerres: what do users think?
kyoungmi sun: They are very kind. The staff did her best to help me get everything I wanted. Thank you very much:)
Alden Almonte (RedJax_Dast): Oh yeh! This thing has everything! Any thing artsy you'll find here
Nera Ragen: Whenever I needed a device that I couldn't find on Amazon or nearby stores, I found it here.
Noah O: Great art supply shop, for all ages and ranges and styles or at least a lot of ranges and styles.I found clickable markers here and it has been a huge win against lost lids. Close to the sky train at Renfrew and decent parking just past the building on westbound Grandview.
Tara T: Very organized and well-stocked. Staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. Came in needing some help finding a specific product and an associate was able to locate the item right away. Great selection of products!
Tradene Marie: Great store with very good service
M Y (Dragonfire76): Very large selection of products there.
Holly Mitchell: Really disappointed with my delivery and the customer service I received. I ordered a canvas and it came with staples sticking through the front of it from the wooden crossbar. When I spoke to them about it they said I could "easily paint over it" even though there were metal staples coming through the canvas... I am very disappointed as I have ordered a lot from here and the customer services team kept repeating the fact that I could still use it even after sending pictures of the damages... I would never sell a painting on a damaged canvas with staples coming through. And the attitude of the service I received was not professional at all.
Teutonic Nobility: Great store for pretty much all your art related needs. Friendly staff and good service too.
Fardad Moayeri: Professional art supplies at great prices. Helpful staff and were well laid out and clean store.
Darius Andaya: A little pricey but service is good. Staff is very helpful.
Taron Senko: I used my years commission funds to upgrade my watercolor paints this year. I ordered online from Quebec and I'm assuming that all of their locations run as effective and efficiently as theirs.Competitive pricing, AMAZING SHIPPING, easy to manage website.I will 100% use them again.
Iolanda de Salles: Melhor lugar pra comprar art supplies, grande variedade, bons preços, várias promoções...Pra quem gosta de desenho, aquarela, pintura acrílica ou óleo é um paraíso...ou uma perdição.
N C: why would you sort a product that is numbered by colour instead of the number it came with? The DMC Embroidery thread carousels in this store are ridiculously laid out making it impossible to find what you are looking for. They also charge almost double what Michael’s charges. Shopping there was a very frustrating experience and the clerk who “offered to help” was not helpful at all.
big pun: Great store for creative people little people arts crafts many more things need to come see store amazing place
Linda Diane Taylor: Great staff. Art supplies comparable to others.
Anson Li: It's neat and organized. Has a lot of painting supplies. They even have painting classes. Parking lot is terrible so just park in front if possible.
Julie McIntyre: Still miss the 2 DeSerres on Main and Broadway and their paper selection. Great selection of kits for children and amateurs. Not so great for professional needs. Lovely staff and fun clearance centre upstairs.
P GD: There are not too many options in or nearby Vancouver for art supplies. This store can be expensive than other online stores. The associates in the store seem a bit nosy (someone or the other keeps on asking if you need help) or maybe they think customers are stealing whereas the customers are looking/searching for the items they need as everyone might not be familiar with the store layout...kind of creepy. Might be a good idea to stick with online ordering, poor Customer service 👎
Andrew Bryson: A go to place for all your art supplies. The staff are always super helpful and knowledgeable.
Kenneth Fagan: A pleasant place to shop. Fairly priced with options to suit every budget for whatever arts n crafty thing you dabble in. Canadian owned company.

Craft Council of BC: what do users think?
Esperanza Rodriguez: In my pursuit of nice art and craft stores at BC, I found this place as well. It has unique selection of various items. I was surprised finding those figurines inside because I never expected them to exist in a craft store. But the bizarre collection makes it exciting for me. I like how aesthetically pleasing it is inside as well.
Grace Xiao: I love it!
Daniel Guzmán: If you're looking for a craft beers, this is the place.
JINK lee: 적당히 예쁜 공방 아트샵.
ANDRES CATT: Great place! Cool stuff
Luke Spicer: This place is great for gifts, the staff are friendly and it smells good. Worth checking out. Best craft store on the island!
Pepa Llausas (Vivir Mirando al Mar): Wonderful!!
Sally Ann Kelly: What a wonderful place! I have visited the CCBC Shop and Gallery on several occasions when visiting Vancouver and would recommend it highly to anyone who appreciates high quality, handmade artisan products. The staff are all welcoming, professional and knowledgeable about the products and highly talented artists. The display is elegant and well thought out - a delight to browse! A first stop on Granville Island for gifts but can never resist buying something for myself!
Jocelyn Bussieres: The Craft Council is such a breath of fresh air on Granville Island. Their selection of local contemporary craft is thoughtfully curated and changes regularly. The staff are kind and knowledgable and often have fun bits of information about the artists that they carry and their processes. A reliable go-to for gifts for loved ones or to treat yourself to something special.
Sunny Rothschild: Crafthouse is my go to place when I need to buy a gift. I've also bought some things for myself there because I really loved them. I am now a volunteer and am very fond of the people I work with, both paid staff and other volunteers. Before I was a volunteer, whenever I was on Granville Island I made a point of visiting the store to see the amazing hand crafted items on display and for sale. I always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Now that I am a volunteer, I feel fortunate that I am able to surround myself with so many beautiful things.
Glenda Mindlin: I am always amazed at the selection and workmanship of the crafts displayed.I have bought many things at Craft House both for myself and others.I will continue to visit. The staff are always informative and knowledgeable about the artist and how the piece is constructed.I am always comfortable browsing or getting help from the staff.
Andrea Catt: I work there and love the friendly staff
Jordan Price: Small, quality gallery full of intriguing contemporary crafts, including ceramics and fabric arts.
Olivia Broderick: My experience was not pleasant. When I walked in hoping to buy one of their unique level like necklaces, I was not greeted upon walking in nor asked if I needed help. The two girls working behind the counter obviously didn't want to be there. Trying to open emails on the computer was more important then customer service. I didn't get the two girls names, but one was blonde haired and the other dark haired. Personally I would fire them for lack of customer service and smiling skills. This visit took place thanksgiving day 2016 at around 5 or so.

Opus Art Supplies: what do users think?
Carey Vandenberg: I go in here every time my wife and I are near by. I rarely need anything here but I love going in just for the tactile experience.
Anastasia Sidorenko: One of my favourite local art stores. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and the framing services and options are great!
Julie LeBlanc: Hard to find and not easily wheelchair/stroller accessible. I tried going to the store on a weekend when the mall was closed and was unable to locate an elevator to get to the store.
Fawn Leviathan Auger: Where I get my animation and painting supply. Soo any colours, I have a hard time leaving.
Chris Dunnett: Staff follow you around like seagulls following a tourist with a platter of fried fish.On the upside, they are helpful (and close at hand) when you have a question.
H T: Staff are great!
Grace Chan: Very good art supplies, but more expensive
Raven Rooke: I was able to find what I wanted with help from the Sales Associate. I had looked all over for what I wanted and Opus had it in stock.Really pleased. This is a real Art store from Framing to Studio Art Supplies. I went to the Harbour Center mall.
Fardad Moayeri: Opus is a Vancouver institution - all sorts of art supplies. Doesn’t always have the best prices but often has the best merchandise.
Shelby Condon: Had a great experience shopping here and even got to do a little painting! All the staff were so friendly, I will be going back :)
David: 周末去很难停车。
Victoria “Moofius” Pumphrey: HELLISH TO ACTUALLY GET TO THE STORE!Like you can get inside and once inside you're fine, but this entire building seems to be specifically designed to keep people out, and the closer to close you go the more challenging it is to find your way into the store. That warning asside: super helpful, informative staff, a great selection for the location, and you're supporting local. The 4 stars is because of how inconvenient the location is, and the fact that most other Opus locations have a more robust selection of products. If there's an Opus not too far from you compared to this one, go there, but at no fault of the store's. This building is the most anti-social building I have ever visited and I grew up in a house with a vengeful ghost. :|
Renatta Faz: great products ! amazing staff, not as big as other opus stores, but you’ll most likely find what you need
Matheus Cunegato: Lojinha muito bacana e completa, repletas de todo tipo de material de arte. Faixas de preço variam de acordo com o nível de amadorismo do material, com diversas opções acessíveis.
Aidan Mcgrath: Do not order online, the absolute worse with delivery dates weeks out and no response from OPUS. Finally got my order and stuff is missing. Such a headache.
Jignya W: Great variety of supplies. I actually couldn't find the store at first and walked into the clearance store instead, both were great so no complaints from me. Lol.But really, the employees were sweet and really helpful. Like seriously it was great. I found what I need and more so yay :-P
Azure ThreeFortySeven: Saturday made attempt to go to Opus, to be told by multiple security guards, no access to the closed mall.A closed mall on Saturday? What? The Opus website advised they were open, but there was no way to get to them. I could even see the lights of the store, but no way in. No signs, no directory, no way to get there. Two other people were also trying to get in; baffled and frustrated we all walked away.Shame, I had $300 in my pocket to spend there this passed, but all I could do is dream about shopping there, and not spending a cent.
Sharmay H: Very friendly and knowledgeable people work there. Quality art supplies and abundant varieties to choose from. Always a joy to visit this location.
Sheila Peacock: Fabulous selection for all kinds of artistic crafts and fine arts.
Cynthia Goold: Walked in and was immediately greeted by friendly helpful staff. Trevor at another location had called ahead to put the five frames I needed aside for me. So they had them ready and waiting for me! Made the whole experience easy and fun. I will be getting all my frames for clients from Opus!
Shaylena Stenback: Staff are very helpful and welcoming. They have a wide selection of paper and paints - Always fun to explore and find new supplies!

Maiwa Granville Island: what do users think?
Wanda Gómez: Me encantó, adorable atención y variedad de productos
RJF: A very unique retail experience. I love the clothes and unique goods there.
Lola Y.: Очень уютнентко
Duaa Yamani: The people who are working there are friendly and informativeGreat store for natural dyes and fabricsRecommend
Cindy Blair: So fun and inspiring. 😍
Faith Brownlee (Nerdmaid Faith): Lovely store but I found the customer service to be a bit judgemental. One of the employees literally made a face at someone who was browsing through products (the usual behaviour of someone looking to purchase something from a store that sells items of different varieties) and overall I felt very unwelcome. Thankfully I found a very cute gift that I came in looking to buy for my husband but the overall shopping experience was uncomfortable.
Rebekah Thomas-Cook: Lovely and diverse selection of textile materials, but sadly staff have been passive aggressive and rude on multiple occasions without cause.Hoping that this problem can be addressed so people can feel more comfortable shopping here!
Mitchell D'Kugener: Awesome selection of stylish hats for men and women
Nuri Jogja: Koleksi tenun, sutra, batik, jumputan dll dr India. Harga sesuai. Pelayanan baik, ramah.
Lindsay Irwin: Today I found myself at Granville Island picking up groceries with a stop into Maiwa textiles. The selection was wonderful and the young women working there today was so lovely and helpful , great to see as these days good service is rare, the shop gets two thumbs up for the product and five stars for the help I got from the young clerk, I believe her name was Belle ,, will be back on my next trip to Granville market
Evan Harley: The go to shop for natural dye stuffs. There were some very beautiful hand dyed fabrics that I wanted to leave with but couldn't justify. The store is packed with all sorts of great things. I am sure that I will be back at some point.
Leanne Lengagne: Maiwa is a must to visit for anyone interested in textiles and dyes. There is a great selection of naturally sourced dyestuffs and enough instructions to make it a diy success.
sara ~: What to say about Maiwa? I've been buying their clothes, natural dyes & furniture for decades. If you want to know your purchasing is supporting the communities it was made - Maiwa is for you. It's obvious this family puts their work firmly in the benefit of farmers, weavers and carvers...A constantly changing clothing and fabric line keep things fresh & interesting. Supplies are always of high quality & the staff are always helpful & knowledgeable.I look forward to my visits & appreciate the genuinely good staff - always ready to help.
Harald Eberl: Interesting Store to visit
Lucy Yin: I want go there for every month. I always thinking about the beautiful colors stuff.
Kulwant S: Great collection , nice ambience :)
Vi “LiVi” Li: Beautiful natural colours of hand dyed wool , threads and materials but I have not bought any since they too pricey for me as I am a mediocre crafty person. And if I were try out, my extended family has a lot of leftover wool six strand and hand spun wool from an old hand knitted sweater business which were imported from New Zealand & even then, still have tons to donate to non-profit group.
Michael Moriarity: The garments and clothing from Maiwa are truly beautiful and stunning in colour and certainly demonstrate quality artisan techniques..over the years we have been drawn to this shop because of the staffs knowledge and friendliness…we always leave with a feeling of bringing India into our home..over the years we have attended their craft talks and have appreciated even more the textiles we have purchased..
Soheila Aghajani: Nice place and more comfortable and also you can find everything about design especially for fashion designers.
Manon Lee: Lovely customer service. I feel like I am talking to another human, not someone "serving" you. Real connection you know?Beautiful shop, delightful selection. They have some lovely Anchor floss for embroidery here!Currently trying out there felt animal kits. Making progress!
L. M.: This is a magical shop for those that love fabric arts. Beautiful natural dyes, gorgeous silks and wools plus waxed linen thread. Great workshops and friendly staff. I love this shop.

Michaels: what do users think?
Paula Darwent: Hard to not buy too much!
Alan: friendly staff. greeted and asked if we needed help
Christina F: Michaels is my daughter's favorite store to pick up art supplies.
Chiara A: Sometimes it’s better to buy things off amazon, at michaels they can be double the price, sometimes even more. It has good stuff tho, and sometimes there’s good finds in the clearance bins, you just have to take the patience to rummage through it and be willing to get a few splinters
Al Ja: Great selection and fun crafts, but expensive and some products are way overpriced. Staff are pleasant but need to work on facial hair control. It is distracting when a female customer sales representative has a partial moustache and beard. I had a hard time concentrating on imputing my payment on the debit machine.
Colleen M: Went into the North Van store looking for specific product that the website indicated was in stock. Nothing was on the peg but Victoria went above and beyond to find it in a recently received shipment still in the stockroom. This is the level of customer service we should all expect to receive. Thanks again, Victoria!
Monica Glez: Very expensive, they are a huge store but I dont think that they have a lot of variety of products. If you are looking for good sale, this is not the place, everything that is on clearance is trash and they want to charge as is not. I dont really like the place. Better go to dolarama.
Paige: It's pretty empty and out of stock of a lot of things. Cheap quality art supplies for the crazy prices you pay for them. You end up spending more because you want to go back and by something of higher quality anyway. I'd just order bundles on amazon of higher quality products for the same price you can buy 1 item here.
Natalia Saxvik: I like this location. Tons of parking. You can always find multiple deals and sales. Very friendly staff.
Fardad Moayeri: Great prices and merchandise for crafts, arts and Knick knacks.
Mataiasi Watt: I've been trying to call the store all day to confirm a Purolator drop off and no answer. Can't even leave a message.
Bowzer Mike: Great place for arts an crafts stuff. Always have what I need
Sean Aegis: Good selection!
Daisy Pavitt: Its a great store with Friendly coworkers
Julia Mitchell: I went to both Michaels in North Vancouver and West Vancouver and they both are running low in knitting needles, crochet needles and looms. They really need to stock up more on that along with more fabric materials. I want to see headbands and turbans. I couldn't find the right fabric.
Adrian Mak: I truly enjoy the art of arts and crafts, and Michaels supports this hobby in every facet. If I want to create my perfect toy out of plasticine at to treat my wife as she enjoys the company of her boyfriend, I can do it easily (at a very reasonable cost!). Thanks Michaels, for your aide in my life adventures!
143Noodlez: Great customer service and very clean.
Nan See: We were purchasing card stock paper, which said buy one get one free, but it rang in at the till as buy one get 1/2 price. I showed the lady the sign and she noticed it was an expired promotion, but they forgot to take down the sign. Then they said they would honour it, but for some reason could not because their system wasn’t able to do it. The lady’s name is Shirley who was helping us and I’m giving her one star because this is their mistake and they did not honour it. Their system is not an excuse.
Leatee Daniels: Great store for crafts!
ANDRES CATT: Great stuff, just wished it wasn't so expensive to take on art for therapeutic reasons
van Nghia Phan: Love the Art's of permanent ink pens here
