Simon Fraser University - Vancouver Campus: what do users think?
Julio César Moreno Correa: Excelente infraestructura para la educación
Ethan Woods: I hate it here too but at least you don’t need to take the 145
Alexander Evans Forsberg: Great university.
Henry JiaJia LAM: The venue was badly managed. With just over a thousand of people the venue became really hot, the AC is non-existent in the lecture hall. If you want to book a nice venue for your event, look somewhere else.
张硕: sfu学校地处博纳比山上,非常喜欢这个学校
Tim Kinstlers: Great looking campus. My sister got her BA here.
Daniel Miller: My course is amazing. The professor is very knowledgeable and well versed in the subject.
Zohra Shahabuddin: Proud and grateful to be a part of SFU..🙂🙂🙂
Scott Gibson: Great teachers, great facilities. Love downtown SFU
Melody Monro: I loved all the new art work! I haven't been to HC FH for a few years, so really appreciated it. Locked my bike outside and it was still there when I came back out!
Darcey Lewis: I was actually working with a demolition crew on the 6th floor of Harbor centre and accessed the building through the Richards street entrance. I imagine that the campus is lovely.
Bogdan Herinean: Nice library
Andrew Auld: Great school really clean friendly smart smart teachers
JasonC Lang: Lots to learn
Patrice: Well designed campus space in an accessible and convenient location.Come here to check out the big map of SFU campuses in Vancouver, surprisingly there are 9 of them! Mostly for arts, tech, business and continuing edu programs. The view from the big window is spectacular on a sunny day.
Andy Aras: Great downtown campus. Offering a variety of courses.
Greg Bem: A really great, central location with some amazing facilities. I would say that the room for improvement includes: having a door person to greet and support visitors/guests, and some A/V equipment which, during my time there, malfunctioned in a handful of major ways.
CiDYYJ: This is very good use of downtown traditional office/retail space for higher education purposes in the middle of the city. The facility is accessed from Hastings Street by a down escalator or on the other sides by street-level entrances. The food court on the lower level of Harbour Centre has good options for a quick, hot meal at a reasonable price.Elevators are also available (including a free one to the Vancouver Lookout at the top of the Harbour Centre). The SFU downtown campus has a bookstore, administration and registration offices, lecture halls, meetings spaces, and classrooms. I've attended many community lecturers and conferences at the site. The campus can be a bit confusing to navigate and finding a washroom can be challenging - ask for help!
Minal C.: My alma mater, as an alum you can access the library, sfu wifi and the clinic :)
Johnson Kanagaraj: It is one of the oldest universities in Canada and one of the foremost universities in Canada. It has several departments and attracts students from various countries around the world. It is situated in a beautiful surroundings with beautiful gardens inside the campus. There is a area in the garden where you can see the group of Totum poles beautifully arranged. The university has campuses in Barnaby and Surrey and Vancouver. The University offers a wide variety of different openings to the aspiring students to choose from. They have undergraduate , certificate courses , master's and doctoral courses in various subjects to help you to choose from. They have special services to help the international and aboriginal students.
Declan Tran: Terrible student service

Langara College: what do users think?
A G: My partner attends school here. The curriculum is TOP tier, and the Proffessors are very approachable. She is stressed, only because the possibilities for our future are SO great. Her class is similar to the course at UBC. And THAT is amazing.
Kay Matthew: For all the money they make in International Student tuition they sure don't put that money back into their staffing. The administration staff are terrible and have zero customer service skills. I guess working with International students who don't understand rudeness has created this weird acceptance among the staff that they are superior to their students. This school needs a major overhaul to match the beautiful campus and potential they have. Get your education and get out. No one walks around the world proud to be a Langara alumni, and that's pretty sad.
Thomas Yemane: Great instructors for math, physics, chemistry, was a regular at the Tim Hortons, big fan of the gorgeous T building.
B A: Outstanding institute
Kenneth Lai: The staff is friendly and helpful.
Arshit Verma: Worst college. Worst decision to get in here. Teachers doesn’t know how to teach , they make the easy concept by teaching it in a boring way. Even they do partiality. Also the courses of your programme are never available so no fun of choosing your programme because you never get your course. This college is nothing else but just a source of extra stress in your life. Never chose this college especially if you’re an international students.
Derrick Man: There are amazing and some bad instructors (some just read word-by-word from lecture slides and fail to explain the concepts).Since September 2021, if you send an EMAIL to some departments (Business, Registration...), they will respond: “We are experiencing a high volume of emails” or “We are experiencing a heavier load of emails” and will respond to your email within 2-14 business days. The business department used to not accept in-person service and didn’t allow students to walk into their department. One time, I tried walking into the business department. I heard people (Langara employees) inside laughing, chilling, and talking around with other employees. When I walked in, they were completely silent (lol), and they kicked me out of their department. They told me to send them an email (bruh, I sent them emails, and they never responded)No FOOD Options. Langara only has Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Triple O, and Subway. Those are considered basic food options (what a college is supposed to have). How are you supposed to survive 2+ years with these food options? 😂😂 You have to take a bus to Fraser in order to get more food options.TEXTBOOKS: When you don’t want to buy textbooks, or you borrow a textbook from a friend, they still force you to buy a package (ex: Pearson MyLab) that comes/includes the textbook. You don’t have the option to get a package that doesn’t include a textbook. If you don’t buy that package, you can LOSE 5-100% of your FINAL Grade.⚠️⚠️⚠️ Be CAREFUL when you walk to/from school at NIGHT. It’s pretty dark, and there are no pedestrian lights. I almost TRIPPed a few times while walking there. I already reported to the school, and they haven’t taken action.B Building is like a prison. Need to improve the design of classrooms and the building.Course Selection: there are few elective courses (easy to ok difficulty level).
HappyGirl1989: Oh boy, where do I start and how I can explain this. I am current kinesiology student, I wanted to know if my creative writing classes count as a prerequisite for kin 1150. The Dean of the department told me that is not a prerequisite for English 1123. I contacted the English department Noel Currie who is the advising for English courses. I showed her my creative writing classes, she gave me an override and waived it for me. I try to register for kin 1150 no success. I contacted the same person who is part of the English advising department. She doesn't even know why it’s doing this to me, she told me to contact the registers office. I call the registers office they put me on hold for over 5 minutes. I hang up and call back, they looked at my profile and told me that a prerequisite override has nothing to do with meeting the prerequisites of English 1123. This is only for if you do not get into the classes for English 1123 or any other type of English class. I am not sure what words to explain on how angry and disgusted I am on behalf of this entire college. I hope everyone is reading this and do not come here, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. Don’t end up in the same boat like me, this is ridicule and unacceptable. Oh and to end my review, one kin prof called my message a spam. I think your whole college is a spam, take that Langara!
Paras Paras: They take 3 times more money from international students but no special efforts are made for new comers and they are expected to be at the level of domestic students who are used to the education system. Overall all of colleges and universities work together to loot international students which is how they've built the structures of their building.
David Balkanyi: Langara College is like Flair Airlines too bad for the few nice instructors
Sabrina Chang: Langara College owns a relatively small campus but still with beautiful architecture and views.
LV Long: They just want the $$$$
gurpartap singh: Very nice college
Jaskaran Jaskaran: Worst college.
giao alan: trash
Hòa Đoàn: When I had to study in an environment at Langara College, I felt very negative because of the way the teacher's teaching caused. Teachers are the first to be born, I feel very dissatisfied because of the teacher's actions. Of course, it was not only the teachers who spoke badly, but Langara University itself influenced me, the school took a lot of money from me and my friends. In my opinion you should not attend this school.
Abo Tufano: Langara has been freshly renewed so that now it can compete with other more famous public colleges of British Columbia.
Eren Yeager: Management is awful here at this school. Amazing teachers though.
Harpreet Singh: One of the worst ever college especially for international students because they just want your money. This college never respond to any application enquiry. They will tell you that general timeline is 4 to 6 weeks for application processing even after 12+ weeks no response from their side.
Tammy Young: Went to school here was a wonderful experience some of the best moments I have spent in my life was here. Some nostalgic moments never leave you I will always remember you my college!
Robin Brenner: Good College

Douglas College New Westminster Campus: what do users think?
Kasra Keshavarzi: This college is very futuristic. To elaborate, I must provide a historical context. In the past, mankind answered the call of nature in a position with the knee angle of roughly 30 degrees, which has come to be known as a "squatting" position. With the advent of toilets, in the present, the knee angle has opened and is usually 90 degrees in a position usually referred to as a "sitting" position. In this regard, this college is truly innovative. Many toilet seats here are so high that men of mountainous stature such as my barely 5'7 self are offered a glimpse into the future where the aforementioned knee angle is further opened, and one must answer the call in a position bearing most resemblance to that of "standing."As such, I have seen the future, and, uncoincidentally, am now a paying member of the anarcho-primitivist party of Canada. Let it be known that I will reduce ALL modern civilization to dust and return it to its primitive ways, unless Douglas College stops this silliness, and only if so.On a serious note, by applying here, you do end up paying for some truly useless things, such as membership to a "gym" (more like kindergarten) which will literally tell you that you are lifting "too heavy," but it still comes out cheaper than most universities, so it is not too big of a deal.
Wildemar Freire: Wonderful infrastructure and very prepared professors. This College has an amazing welcome system for who is newcomer in Canada. I’m really impressed about everything here.
Jeanie Abby: Called enrollment this morning @ 10:50am and the lady who answered the phone was very rude and didn't have any patience to answer basic inquiries and was unwilling to help!!!
Asia H: Ashna Kumar. Coach, safety and ASIST trainer at self talk for suicide prevention. Livingworks. I'm providing this review to make sure vulnerable and helpless clients make the right decision when choosing a coach. Ashna instructs the suicide intervention 2 days workshop at sprott shaw college she works at "self talk", Livingworks. Works for Douglas college and YWCA metro Vancouver. I'm completing my counselling program at sprott shaw and this course is a requirement for me getting my certificate. I was vulnerable and opened up to Kumar about having a history of suicide years ago. I'm perfectly stable for the past 4 years. She used my vulnerability against me to not allow me into this workshop saying I don't qualify based on my history to justify her exaggerated and irrational reaction to me being late to class 10 minutes on day one. She refused to allow me in. And she of course determined I don't qualify after I disclosed this workshop is very important to me and it's helpful for my stability based on my suicidal history. So I wonder who are the people qualified for this course ?! I am about to become a counsellor and I feel prejudice , judged, offended and discriminated, after being vulnerable, asking for a second chance to attend the second day. She works in an industry where she comes across vulnerable people all the time, people with mental issues , depression, trauma and addiction. She totally abused her power as an instructor to justify not allowing me in class for being 10 minutes late. not taking into consideration my circumstances whatsoever. Please, for those people who are seeking therapy and coaching , choose wisely. Your life is not to gamble with, and no one has the right to make you feel the way she made me feel. Thank you for putting the time into reading this review
Wayne E: ive had a great experience at douglas. i am happy to be at this collage since 2019. i am almost finished my marketing degree.
sahansdh: As a student at Douglas College in New Westminster, I can confidently say that this institution is top-notch. From the moment I walked through the doors on my first day, I was welcomed with open arms by friendly staff and faculty members who were eager to help me succeed. The campus itself is stunning, with modern facilities and state-of-the-art technology that make learning a breeze. The library is a particular highlight, with an extensive collection of resources and comfortable study spaces that have helped me ace more than one exam. But it's not just about the buildings - the people here are what make Douglas College truly exceptional. The professors are passionate and knowledgeable, always willing to go above and beyond to help their students. And my fellow students are a diverse and welcoming community, with clubs and organizations for every interest. One of the things I appreciate most about Douglas College is their commitment to supporting their students. From academic advising to mental health resources, they offer a wide range of services to ensure that every student has the tools they need to succeed. And as someone who's struggled with anxiety in the past, I can't say enough about the support I've received from their counselling services.Overall, I feel incredibly lucky to be a student at Douglas College. It's a place that's truly dedicated to helping their students succeed, and I'm excited to see where my education here will take me in the future. I would highly recommend this institution to anyone looking to further their education and achieve their goals.
Boston Bruins FanBoy: The registers office lady was very short towards questions, I could almost see her rolling her eyes over the phone. The department coordinator doesn't reply to emails either. What kind of an establishment is this?
Salma Banu: Good one
Jorge Ruiz Ortega: A love one got graduation evening today. Douglas college is a well and wide recognized Institution wish make me feel glad and blessed to be part of today celebration .for associationThank to the whole academic personal for passing along and effort, their knowledge . To every year and grupo of students.
Gaurav Sharda: It is Such a bad & worst college in British columbia. Nobody should enroll in this college
THPS Watson: Registration is ripping me off. This semester I was placed on the waiting list again for some courses like usual. The professor reached out to me and told me to go ahead and register. I tried the system did not letting me. I emailed the professor he asked me to register for his same class but on a different day. I tried the system did not let me register again and the message said that need to be overridden by the professor. He did it, and I was able to register it. I did not realize this class has the 1 assignment due on Jan14 . I registered for the course on SaturdayJan 11 and I deregister for that same course on Monday January 13. I got access to the course material and schedule after I registered for the class , then I saw there was an sign meant due the next class. I realized that if I take this class I will lost my mark for this assignment, therefore I deregistered myself from the class. Have I known before I registered that the signment is due on Next class, I would not register it and let the professor know about it. The register office did not care I guess they just go ahead and charge me for over $200. I hope in the future the colllege will have a better system for registration. First, have a better registration system if the teach allow the student to register, then student should be registered right away. Next the teacher/professor could kindly let the students know what did they missed because of the late registration. For example in this case, 1 st asssignmet is due on your next class. Finally to have a lower penalty, 50percent of the course tuition is a lot.
Helena: I will never forget Douglas College which provided me with the vital education. I am grateful to all my professors who not only taught me the knowledge and skills, but also gave me love and confidence. Meanwhile, I miss all my best friends and classmates because we worked together, hung out together, cried and laughed together when we were students. Once we worked as a team and gave a presentation, we actually were a little bit nervous that led to our team forgot an important part of the presentation. But we pretended to be confident and didn’t care about the score. Also, We loved participating many events that were organized by student unions. On the energetic campus , there is our best memory.
Hannah Briere: Douglas has such an amazing atmosphere to learn in, the small class sizes and instructors make it a great place to gain valuable skills. They have good choices for food as well as some nice places to sit and study or relax between classes. Compared to some of the bigger institutions the social life aspect is lacking but I'm usually more focused on learning than making friends. Parking is a bit difficult. Street parking near by can be a bit sketchy and the parking lots for the campus and Anvil tower are very limited. Price for parking nearby is pricey.
B[]G D4D: Great school. Especially if you are looking to apply at a University, it is a great stepping stone as they have numerous University transfer programs to help you achieve your goals towards your career
Holly Jowett: This is the worst school i have ever been to DONT go here
Arda Altinay: I have been student at Dc for 2 years. Great environment. I love to be part of this school.
Oshun: One of their lower floor washroom has a door opened via buttons. Incredible
HappyGirl1989: I was bullied and discriminated by a certain prof in SPSC 2252, I asked two people if they want to be my partner they already had someone. I emailed the prof for help he’s quote was “it a little late but we can try.” I go there the next day he calls out to everyone saying that I don’t have partner. He said “who wants to be barbs partner no one? Are you sure.” Then he says quote “sorry barb no partner.” Walked out feeling depressed and traumatized and humiliated. This man needs to be reported to the Dean or president of the college! This is bullying and discrimination! I feel very small and excluded! This should not be happening! What he should have done is to add me as a third person! That’s what professional profs do! This man has no education and is not prepared to deal with situations like these. Thanks to him, I am afraid to come to school because of this incident. I am talking to a counsellor, ombud person to help me appeal for this issue. Enough is enough! To the students in this certain class who didn’t ask me to be part of there group as a third person, GROW UP!
Joseph Au: It was a good experience for me all the time to keep support of our culture history In everyday life treating them happy also helps each other in the Douglas College community when we are graduating from getting older or wanted to have a girlfriend and boyfriend for the rest of our life together.
alex goldkind: Want to become a broke and woke left-wing libtard and this is the place for you!!!!Don't expect to get hired when you leave here

Kwantlen Polytechnic University: what do users think?
simranpal singh: Good University for quality education. Most of the students are international.
Ornella Rose: TOO MANY CREEPS. If you are a woman please be safe. They stare at women like they are a piece of meat. The library, the place where people are supposed to have a quiet time to study is so loud. I have complained to the front desk and she said she will deal with it but did nothing. I wasted my whole day trying to study but got nothing done and libraries are one place I am very productive at.
yadharsh rajiah: You guys are fraud. Taking international student for granted. I have never heard that for registration you have to pay in advance each semester. For 3 courses, you guys are charging international student huge amount of money for the worst education in canada and also never correspond to emails.
Matthew Cabanillas: Horrible universidad , no dan solución a ningún problema
Puvit Towana: Noodles Maggi???
Awal Mohammed Faiza: KPU is a scam! And a money making institution. Interested or future international students overseas please be careful when making payments with this institution to secure an offer letter for your visa processing. I paid an initial deposit amount on behalf of my brother who is overseas using a Canadian bank account. Unfortunately his visa got denied and it’s been almost a year going back and forth with the accounts departments about the refund. They keep giving flimsy excuses and pushing back dates until finally telling us the money was sent to the appropriate account. I have checked with my bank and showed bank statements to proof the said amount wasn’t paid but no one is willing to help. All they tell you they can’t do anything about it. If there was a zero star rating I will gladly use that….
Christa Francis: If you are serious about your education, do not attend KPU surrey campus. This is a place for people to get a student visa and nothing more. Majority of students do not take anything serious and this causes major disruption to the education of the minority who are serious. So much unnecessary disruption in classes simply due to students disregard, disrespect and arrogance. Currently my daughter is in first semester here and will not be registering for a second semester. Not too mention being forced to pay for transit that will never be used because she has her own car and we live 6 mins from campus , which was why we opted for KPU in the first place. Really disappointed. Feel very sad for professors who have to attempt to teach these people something.
A F: Professor Jeremy Jarvis sleeps with his students in exchange for grades. Please throw Mr. Jarvis out with honours.
Jaskeerat Virk: it is a very nice campus and good people all around.
Singh: Diploma mill for international students which make up 90% of students here. Local students beware, high tuition costs, no facilities, library closes early unlike real universities. Absolutely no social events, clubs, networking or way of making friends. A lot of professors here work at KPU as a side hustle, their main teaching jobs are at real universities. Some of the professors here are terrible, just check rate my prof for further opinions. This is a money grab university, no culture. You'll never see anyone repping KPU hoodies because most people don't want to be associated with this school anymore.Pick anything but this if you care about your future.
Akash Bagga: Worst university ever,As an international student i am so frustrated i hate being studying here, When you are try to register classes you will see that every class is full and you will not get your preffered courses at one place like if you live in surrey you need to go to their langley or richmond campus to attend classes. Secondly i dont know what different they provide to international student they are charging 9000$ for 4 courses seriously this dumb university not let you to pass your some courses with better grades you will struggle a lot and cry many times after got admission here. This University is a curse for Int students.
Farhad Darbishi: It's a good place to be
Ruben Mendez: Is there a weight lifting/gym facility on campus?
Shingara Singh Sumal: Has lots of opportunities
J. W: Farm school Tsawwassen,Had an exceptional season and learned a lot from Amy who was extremely knowledgeable who had information that was really hard to find online. I also learned from Katherine and Anna and Sarah as Manager what mattered to them most. I know next season I’ll be ready to keep up with the other students weeding. Thanks for the lessons guys!
Mishél M: It's a school.:)
Andreas S: Great place to learn. Some good student amenities and awesome instructors.
Brenna Finch: Great school and great teachers! Highly recommended!
Raymond wong: Good school environment ,Biggest campus of KPU
Harjot Singh: It’s been more than a year at KPU. For me it is the best, as I have created and captured many memories at this magical place. From classes to coffee to pizza to …… everything that I did here, holds a special place in my heart. Thanks KPU for making me the person I am today. And thanks to those people who filled colours in my journal at KPU. THANK YOU!
Leeza F: I have had a terrible experience with KPU. I decided to drop one of my four courses, and then paid my tuition in full afterwards. 3 weeks later I am being penalized because I have a balance owing on my file. I was told that their system updates at the end of the day, which means that I underpaid? If this was the case you'd think they would owe me money back as I had dropped a course and the system doesn't update that I had dropped a course until the end of the day. The worst part is that I am having to drop all of my courses now this semester due to a cancer diagnosis of my close family member, and I am not able to withdraw from all of my courses until I pay this outstanding balance, even though I cannot continue my studies due to having to take care of a family member. This school does not care about your wellbeing, just getting paid. I am giving one star because I did have a really good experience with my teacher, however, the other faculty members have not been understanding of my situation at all.

VCC - Downtown Campus: what do users think?
Jon Sheffield: The food from the culinary arts students is outstanding and reasonably priced. Apart from the limited timing this place rule for downtown food open to the public. The cafe sells butchered meats cheaper than any grocery store.
Ehsan Mahditabar: My best year was in VCC with excellent teaching and high learning level
HappyGirl1989: I had a bad experience here with the cooking school back in the year 2018. I was being very mistreated by a substitute chef here. I left in tears, never stepping foot here no matter what program they have to offer here. Stay away, I am warning you.
Munim Chowdhury: Went for a brief visit with my friend as he got admitted in an automotive program in VCC. The space is well utilized, and staff are friendly. Parking has to be done on the street.
kait patt: I was enrolled in doing online classes to upgrade some courses. I had so many problems, not being able to see my classes, not being able to get a concrete answer from anyone just kept getting transferred to someone else. They don't put any prices out for you to see and you will be half way through your course and they want you to complete "part 2" which means re paying. Other I know who have gone here say they were completely used just for their money. This school is all about the money.
Sandra Landaverde: VCC is in the downtown core easy access while there you can enjoy their services which it's run by highly qualified students instructors and personal in general study 📖 as well 😉
Stuart Furness: Keep an eye out, the new VCC bake shop will be opening soon.
Christopher Edwards: I had an academic advising appointment with Kseniia, she was very kind and able to answer all my questions and explain the options I have going forward. Very excited about continuing my education with VCC.
Jonathan Lumu: Best I wish for everyone
Fakhr Alrakwi: Great place to get affordable yet yummy meals made by future chefs 👨‍🍳 😋
Ki Rocky (Rocky): ALLERT: Think carefully before studying in this school, especially INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS once they had your money, they don’t care or really help you.WANT TO LEFT SCHOOL, yes you can go but NO REDUND in their dictionary.
R L: Apparently this school doesn’t work for everyone I was told by the instructor - just a select few - it’s not inclusive of all walks of life.8 students from the dental hygiene program failed the first semester. That’s 36.6% failure rate. Instructors do not know how to teach anatomy. When it came to learning anatomy they do not show students how to distinguish between teeth, anomalies or anything of the such. They don’t elaborate on the learning topics. Just verbatim of slides in class. They don’t have frequent testing to ensure information sticks. Also, come 4pm - good luck finding an instructor. They all disappear. As a person, it’s great! classes end at 4pm. but as a learning environment, it shouldn’t close so soon. Lazy people. And if they do see you struggling... instead of helping the student personally they pass the buck to learning services. Like learning services is a tutor in the DH program. They are not. They like to blame the student and lack of studying. Which isn’t the case. They need to teach better. Many students struggled with learning what the instructors want them to learn. They are not clear in what needs to be known. They might have been good decades ago but they sure are out of date now.
ThinkableEden YT: Nice
Stephen James: My advisor left the campus. My review was intended to highlight the efforts of this person in my educational endeavours. Thus, I am left to revise the review accordingly.
Sapan Sandhu: Good but expensive college, staff is very friendly. Premises and maintenance are worth watching.
Verna victoria Mclaughlin: I only stopped in but it was a clean and inviting campus
Simi M: VCC sets up students for success. The few instructors whose classes I taken have been genuine educators looking to support students achieve their goals.
Ben Wiese: Awesome Culinary Program.I learned a lot from VCC. Excellent experience living in Vancouver for sure. memories of taking the Skytrain, and met some really interesting people during my time living There off Joyce. Thanks Hamid. I still have our 2014 Grad Photo. I remember our classes well.Good time.
B: I believe Library is for student there study quietly right ? But I guess not , we were just trying to do out work in quite place but this lady and her probably beauty student came in talking super loud and distractingly in the middle of library. And her ugly laugh is so irritating to hear .
Amelia C: Horrible instructors. They don't teach you the course properly, and mark you extremely hard on any work. I've been to other colleges, and this one is by far the WORST. Too many people in the class, and can't be bothered to help or even explain how to do assignments properly.
