Beaucoup Bakery: what do users think?
Sara Rezai
Sara Rezai: Almond croissant was delicious!!! Must try if you are in the area.
Hardeep Purewal
Hardeep Purewal: Really good but pricey, and they do on occasion get the orders wrong, but generally really delicious
Alexis Okabe
Alexis Okabe: Undeniably and unquestionably the best bakery in the Lower Mainland. I'm always excited to see yuzu-flavoured treats, and despite the massive line, the team here handles everything super efficiently and with a smile. Definitely get whatever yuzu thing they have, and also try the cardamon kouign amann!
Jessica Villavicencio
Jessica Villavicencio: Croissants are good👌🏽 crunchy like I like it.
Kelvin Fong
Kelvin Fong: After finally getting the opportunity to sample some of the baked goods, I must say that I fail to comprehend the enthusiasm surrounding them. To be honest, the croissant I tried was unappetizing. It was excessively dry, and the texture inside was reminiscent of Costco's baked goods. I'm uncertain whether they blended some shortening with the butter or if I obtained day old items. Considering the cost, the taste wasn't particularly noteworthy. Luckily, I only purchased a few items to experiment with. Thankfully, there are numerous other bakeries in the area to explore.
Kanako Sakurada
Kanako Sakurada: Definitely one of the best croissants in town! So flaky and buttery!
Franco Cornejo
Franco Cornejo: Good range of products, no bad coffee, however, unprofessional staff (FOH) looking very unhappy and rude to customers, also, asked to tip when there is no service involved.Tables needs some attention.
Abhishek Das
Abhishek Das: I've had the pleasure of visiting this establishment a few times now, and while I loved their ham and cheese rolls and croissants, I did find the pistachio croissant a bit too sweet for my taste. That being said, their croissants are undeniably great, and I highly recommend them.In fact, after trying their Sakura Croissant Supreme and Jasmine Tiramisu, I must say that I would add another star to my previous rating if I could. These two items were absolute winners in my book - the flavors were impeccable, and the execution was flawless. If you're a fan of unique and delicious pastries, make sure to try these out!
Richard Wong
Richard Wong: The peanut butter cookies, both plant based and regular peanuts were excellent. Probably, the best peanut butter cookies we've had as they were both creamy, crunchy, and the taste of the cookie was scrumptious. The chocolate croissant or Paine de chocolate was very flaky, large, and also very good tasting. You can see they have a variety of not only pastries, but also jams, ornamental gifts, and local coffees.A nice place to visit and have a snack and coffee.
Richard D
Richard D: Great croissantsGo pistachio and almond and almond chocolateSuberb. Worth a second visit
Ross Judge
Ross Judge: DISCRIMINATION HERE as they DO NOT accept cash. Many people don't have credit cards or may not want to use them. Also not everyone has a debit card with cash available. Is this place just for rich people ?I had a Almond Croissant for $6 that was okay, not the best I've had. $6 scones too.Their card machines start at 15% tip and up......and that's for takeout
Joel Kaplan
Joel Kaplan: Fantastic pastries and sweet nibbles.
Vlad S.
Vlad S.: The bread pudding is the best we’ve ever had anywhere! And the coffee is so good :) great cafe
ewan quirk
ewan quirk: 5 star pastries. Visited exactly 7 minutes prior to closing one day and got nothing but deliciousness and good vibes! Now THAT is good customer service. Pistachio croissants are to die for!
Lilian Dang
Lilian Dang: Wow, all cakes I have eaten here is really good and amazing !!!
serge H
Joyce Gilchrist
Joyce Gilchrist: Great as always
Chloe D
Chloe D: Croissants are super flakey and buttery. The lemon yuzu tart was delicious (but a tad sweet for me) - the consistency of the filling was not too dense/jello-like but not too liquidy.
l luong
l luong: Pastries is a 5/5.Customer service was awful and awkward. This is after visiting the place 3 times in the event it was a one-off. Unfortunately it wasn't.
Crystal Mount Tannehill
Crystal Mount Tannehill: The late was so good!!!!! As was their iced late. So yummy. We also loved their pastries!
Leah Kloeble
Leah Kloeble: Great french bakery. Delicious pastries! The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it!

Bâtard Bakery: what do users think?
Kenneth Lai
Maria P.
Maria P.: Delicious latte (well-balanced between espresso & milk, leaning to stronger espresso flavor) and pear flan tart. Efficient customer service. Sadly, no plugs for laptops or complimentary wifi if you need it.
Christina Chan
Christina Chan: Excellent bread, sliced or whole, wrapped in butcher paper to go.Fresh pastries, simple French lunches (excellent tarte a l'ognion) and a simple, fresh take-out deli with dressings, pickles, and charcuterie.A great place to go shopping for all things baking as well.A small patio outside is perfect for those with pooches.
Sherry Kallergis
Sherry Kallergis: My favorite coffee shop! Ricotta cheese on toast with jam is the best start to a weekend with complimentary people watching.
Nada Awada
Nada Awada: Everything in this bakery is delicious
Will L.
Will L.: My fav place that I visit almost every weekend!! I love thé food and vibe here. Both pastries and lunches are soooo delicious. If there were 10 starts, I could give 9!! Soups can definitely be improved 👌🏼
B D
B D: definitely one of the better bakeries in the area. I just wish they had a better sourdough schedule, every time I go they're out!
W K
W K: Used to be good, but quality has taken a huge dive and everything is overpriced as they try to increase their profit margins. Paid for 5 croissants and only received 4 in the box. They would not honour their mistake and staff were rude.
Paul Johnston
Paul Johnston: Enjoyed a coffee and croissant. Delicious granola purchased that I use now at home. I also purchased some cheese labelled as being from St Albert, Quebec. Are you sure it is not from St Albert in eastern Ontario? In any event, good cheese.
Jenn X.
Jenn X.: Fabulous... only downside is they don't have everything everyday... so u have to figure out what days they have your favs & go early...
Gregory Kehm
Gregory Kehm: Ohh la la! Flavour fantastica and in every direction you look. This is a fabulous place to enjoy superb culinary talent whether from the wide assortment of baked goodies or the savoury sandwiches and soups.
Harpreet Rose
Harpreet Rose: Beautiful croissants, good lamination and baked to flaky perfection
hammy pie
hammy pie: Delicious baked goods, sandwiches, soups, coffee, and homemade goods. Cute well known place on Fraser.
Kanako Sakurada
Kanako Sakurada: Definitely one of the best bakeries in town. Their honeycomb and financier are must-tries!
David López
David López: Expensive and very normal. the pastry was not fresh and they served me a cold espresso.
Juanita Camargo Nunez
Juanita Camargo Nunez: It is pricy for what it is. The atmosphere is of course a trip to Europe, and it all appears so delicious and good BUT: the espresso we ordered was cold... Cannot understand how that even happens, but it was cold. The almond croissant looks great but it's kind of flat, tasteless, and zero soft, too hard. The pear gallete pastry was ok but nothing exceptional, especially for the prices. The service is alright, nothing outstanding either. I had high expectations and definitely those were not met.
Tessie Mercado
Tessie Mercado: Delectable pastries.
Donna Mah
Donna Mah: I was very unhappy with the customer service that we received at Batard. My friend and I were planning to have coffee and chat with some pastries. It was around 3:30 when we arrived We didn’t realize that the store was closing at 4pm. There was a bit of line to by the time we got to the front of the line up they were serving beverages. At this time it might have been a good ideal to inform the customers that the store is closing at 4pm rather the rude interaction we received. The front counter pretty much said we don’t do beverages after 3/30. Well if that was the case we would have left. Still there was no mention that they were closing. We thought we could grab some pastries and sit. They pretty much kicked us out no apology. We will never go back.
Theodore Jakob
Theodore Jakob: Delicious baked goods!
nicole
nicole: Delicious pastries. At French bakeries, I usually go for something sweet like a pain au chocolate or almond croissant. But they had a delicious looking potato galette. Highly recommend if your wanting something savoury but also love a laminated dough. It was cheesy, with a perfectly crisp pastry. Husband got the beef dip, good portion and very flavourful. Only downside (minus 1 star) is the very limited seating and although I ordered a coffee for dine-in, I received it in a to-go cup.
Sam Bell
Sam Bell: No public wifi which is very behind for a cafe in 2023. Myself and another lady had to scramble to leave to get work done, should be advertised for a large cafe that they don’t want any remote workers in their cafe

Footo Croissant: what do users think?
TJ Bartok
TJ Bartok: This is a cute little Gem been going here 5 yrs and every day I pop in its never changed always so good...
A
A: Tasted ok but not worth the $5.25 price. The lavender blueberry croissant barely had any filling. There was maybe 8 blueberries in the whole croissant and smallest layer of lavender cream in the croissant. Not what I expected from what they advertised as a "filled croissant".
Steve Blunt
Steve Blunt: if you like croissants this place is a must!!! So good!!!! 👍
Marianne Huang
Marianne Huang: Very good place for a bite to eat and cup of tea or coffee. The staff are super friendly and the food is freshly made. So do be prepared to wait a bit for your order. I’ve brought a few friends and they have become repeat customers as well.Personally, my favourite payday Friday treat.I personally like how you can see them make the croissant dough from scratch. Or see slabs resting in the fridge waiting to be rolled and cut. You can also see that they don’t cheat and use margarine instead. The other nice thing is that when you order in, they serve you at your table - the place is tiny - but they don't skimp on the service! Please come and try if you haven’t already. It’s worth it! I recommend the earl grey or blueberry lavender croissants. Or if you are looking for savoury the smoked salmon or shrimp salad are good (am biased towards anything seafood).Noticing some reviews consider the sandwiches too small. If you are a small eater like me, their food will be just right. Knowing my brothers…….one sandwich definitely won’t be enough. It would be more a snack than a meal. Hope this helps.
Dao Tran
Dao Tran: This place is fantastic. Always come here when visiting Vancouver. Get the bacon tomoto and cheese on a cheese croissant. Also get a couple regular croissants and a long fog. Ummmm
Joseph Choi
Joseph Choi: Fresh croissants made and we're just delicious, had the salmon croissant with hollandaise...yummm! 👍🤘
Mitch B.
Mitch B.: Really nice shop. Super flavourful
Katherine Szerk
Katherine Szerk: Really good almond croissant!
Gina Tran
Gina Tran: So deliciousss!!! A must-try! ❤️
Liliana Wong
Liliana Wong: Good cappuccino and nice croissant selection.
Vi
Vi: Delicious! The croissants don’t look particularly nice, but don’t let it fool you. It’s delicious! Super crunchy on the outside, flakey pillowy soft on the inside. Perfection. $10 for a loaded up breakfast croissant is a great deal in comparison to other spots in the area as well.
Tyler Ody
Tyler Ody: The almond croissant was heaven 😇
osama dawood
osama dawood: Decent food and very friendly staff.
Amir Tootooni
Amir Tootooni: Very good food and friendly chefs
Mabel Chow
Mabel Chow: Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior and interior. This place is diamond in the rough. Reminds me of real mom and pop run store. Great croissants freshly baked - I had the blueberry lavender. Almond. And original (the best imo). I could have passed on the Americano though
Sarka Bemova
Sarka Bemova: The worst coffee I ever had..croissants are not homemade
Lukas L
Lukas L: Really the worst croissant and coffee we've ever had. They have better coffee at McDonald's.
Ali
Ali: Fantastic food and drinks, amazing staff, and a wonderful environment. Will definitely be coming back here again next time I’m in Van :)
Bethany McNab
Bethany McNab: Not my best picture...I was holding a baby. This place is consistently friendly, warm, tasty and not overpriced. Enjoy a breakfast and coffee on the go, or take a seat and be served. They have lots of options even for lunch or to take away for friends and family. Buttery delicious even my baby loved it.
Melissa Bermudez
Melissa Bermudez: Amazing croissants and service!
K S
K S: Friendly staff, delicious croissants. We had maple bacon, vanilla cream and egg florentine. The cafe mocha was scrumptious. I would recommend this place.

Leticia de Castilho Freire
Leticia de Castilho Freire: Delicious bakery and excellent spot for breakfast. Most people take away but you can take a seat and enjoy.
dinesh sai
dinesh sai: Ummmm the double baked almond croissant man. Crunch! Crunch! Crunch!
Nicolle Fernandez
Nicolle Fernandez: Disparaging and racist treatment, the cinnamon roll was not bad but there are better.
Wei
Wei: In the morning, a cup of strong latte and a piece of fresh croissant instantly lifts the mood.
Sheryl M
Sheryl M: So many beautiful croissants! What we had was amazing, including the coffee and tea. Very fun to be able to watch the staff making the pastries behind the glass.
Ingrid
Ingrid: Tried the earl grey flavour, I like how the cream makes it taste more like a puff pastry but still miss that crush from the outer shell
Kaur Navjot
Kaur Navjot: The crossiant is mind blowing
Ergün TEKİR
Ergün TEKİR: I loved the taste of croissants and latte. However I can not say same things for service. I ordered coffee and croissant for dine in and dine in area was quiet full at that time.First of all, They said there was no clean cup to serve coffee, so they asked that am I going to wait for it. Is this real? You guys have very small dine in area and you dont have good enough cup to serve. Is it kind of new way to cost control? Who knows! Okay its not a big deal.Second issue is came after that. So, I said that there is no table for me so I would like to wait. While I was waiting for a table, they washed cups and prepared my order. So what am I going to do with that. Its kind of no brain act. Cant you see that I was standing there, how could I hold a large cup of coffee and a plate for 15 minutes till I get a table? Wouldn’t you prepare it after me and my friend settled ?Anyone who cares customer could think about it, no one would like to be in a that kind of situation. To sum up, taste is good, but they should give proper training to their baristas and servers.
Jacky Sin
Jacky Sin: Amazing croissant, exceptional staff! Prolly the best in town
Jeremy Laird
Jeremy Laird: I love croissants & this little shop is one of Vancouver's best.
Abhishek Das
Abhishek Das: If you're looking for a croissant that'll take you on a journey, this joint has got the goods. The flaky layers are like a love letter to butter, with just the right balance of flavour to make your taste buds sing. And let's talk about the earl grey - that baby is like a light and airy cloud of happiness, with a hint of bergamot to make you feel like royalty. But don't get too attached, because they've got some killer rotational flavours that are always worth exploring. Trust me, this is the kind of pastry that makes you want to say "oui, oui!" in a terrible French accent.
Y K
Y K: Hands down the best cream-filled croissants in Vancouver🙌 If you want to make sure that they have the flavors that you want, don't go too late as it'll be sold out!I've also pre-ordered once through email, and the staff were very helpful and the process was super smooth.I've tried:- Green Tea Croissant (5/5)- Earl Grey Croissant (5/5)- Black Sesame Croissant (5/5)
Nicole Leonard
Nicole Leonard: The iced double shot of espresso was fantastic. It hit the spot on a hot day. The pistachio raspberry croissant was delicious as well. Thank you!
Lili Xu
Lili Xu: One of the best 🥐 I’ve had.
Qiaojun Feng
Qiaojun Feng: Great croissant! Both crispy outside and flaky inside.
Vivian Nguyen
Vivian Nguyen: Amazing croissants!!! So flakey, light and not overly sweet! There was a bit of a line when I went so I would recommend going earlier to ensure you get all the flavours you want
Tracy Zhu
Astrid Velazquez
Astrid Velazquez: Excellent Croissant! But , please open the delivery option. !!!
PrithiPal Singh
PrithiPal Singh: Both are delicious- chocolate croissant- Earl gray croissant
Katelyn Genoud
Katelyn Genoud: Amazing coffee and one of the best cinnamon buns in western Canada! I'll be back next time I'm in Vancouver!
CAI GAN XIAN Lucas
CAI GAN XIAN Lucas: Great bakery shop to stop by either as a snack or breakfast. It is hard to describe how good the bakeries are. We will definitely come back.

Kenny Wu
Kenny Wu: Exceptional bake and lovely people. The sourcing of teas is very thoughtful too.
Michael I
Michael I: Probably one of the best croissants I've ever had in the city of Vancouver. You can tell that the family team at Seasons Bakery takes a lot of care and pride in their craft. Definitely worth the calorie count...but who's counting...so yummy good! Get the double baked almond croissant and try their featured croissants.
Sebastian Kasza
Sebastian Kasza: Hands down the best double-baked almond croissant I've had anywhere, not just Vancouver. Chris and Melanie are excellent hosts and take pride in what they do. An absolute must if you're in East Van!
Luc Holland
Luc Holland: Amazing baked goods, very friendly staff, brutal hours of operation. Have gone 4 times during the last month closed every time.
Genevieve Desjardins
Genevieve Desjardins: Great place to get sweet treats. So glad they are open again! Double baked hazelnut croissant is delicious!
Shazaem
Shazaem: Excellent bakes in a modern, bright and clean bakery. There aren’t any tables and chairs, but I’d take quality bakes over sitting any day!
Brody Isaak
Brody Isaak: I have this thing where I come here but just never leave unhappyAlmond croissants become my vices with expected pricesI’ll never stop stopping until they start slicing with icing and dicing the frangipane
R H
R H: AMAZING 🥖 & 🥐Just purchased and finished it! Sooooo good!!! Almost best in town! Definitely coming back!
Karlie Pidgeon
Karlie Pidgeon: The hours have been reduced dramatically and also the quality isn’t there anymore. Today we bought chocolate croissants, scones and ham tart. They were day old pastries with high prices. It’s a shame we won’t be going anymore. There is another bakery next to the Super Valu and it’s better quality with fresh pastries daily and with better hours.
Autumn Robertson
Autumn Robertson: Absolutely amazing croissants and perfect Matcha! The baguette was devoured as soon as I brought it home to my family. Everyone was happy!
Jacqueline James
Jacqueline James: I can guarantee that this place offers delicious and amazing breads. Their croissants tasted great and I enjoyed my time at this place. Their menu also include delicious puffs and cheesecakes! I love their sweet flavors and I truly enjoyed them after eating their filled breads.
Baking Arts Academy
Baking Arts Academy: The best baguette in town, full of blisters and aromatic wheat favors. The butter croissant and cheese scone are so yummy too
Anna G
Anna G: Cinnamon bun pastry was phenomenal. Baguette had excellent crumb and chew on the crust. Can't wait to go back.
Dan Ponich
Dan Ponich: Seasons is amazing!! Favourite bakery and cafe on/off the Drive. Chris and Melanie (sorry if I botched the spelling) are awesome!
Ruth Delisle
Ruth Delisle: The best croissants in the city! Honestly I have been on a "perfect" croissant search & these fit the bill 100%, highly recommend 👌
Kelsey Z
Kelsey Z: Almond croissant. So fresh.
E. Low
E. Low: Highly recommend the Candied Seed Country Loaf. The crust is not super hard, baked to perfection. The middle is soft and filled with seeds in every bite.
Raph
Raph: I really liked this place, but in recent months, it feels like quality has gone down a bit. Croissant used to be huge and flakey, some of my favorite in town, but lately they seem smaller and more bread like... also seems like they are often day old. Recently a macaron I bought had whip cream that had soured and tasted off. I'm hoping it's just a one off as I've usually been happy about them.
Kimmy & Nicole Parhar
Kimmy & Nicole Parhar: Closed early and sold out by noon.
Aoife Dowling
Aoife Dowling: Our go to please every week for Saturday croissants. Never disappoints
Dominic Villar
Dominic Villar: The double baked matcha croissant is incredible! I will return to try more baked goods.

Heli Kimhi
Heli Kimhi: Great coffee, good service, awesome breakfast sandwich
Deepti Shinh
Deepti Shinh: Cute cafe, interesting cake combinations..tried the black sesame one which was nice. Expresso was very bitter and service could have been friendlier.
Alden Almonte (RedJax_Dast)
Alden Almonte (RedJax_Dast): I love the tarts here, the owner is very nice
Marcel Laforge
Marcel Laforge: The best caramel machiato that I've had in my life!
Kyrene K
Kyrene K: I ordered their Hojicha and Matcha cake which Hotjicha should be carried smoky aroma. It is lack of any taste or smell of both kinds of tea but just excessively sweet.
Judy U
Judy U: A tourist trap
Stephen Rees
Stephen Rees: Small but adequate seating for a group of four. Probably more seats outside when it isn't raining. Excellent tea (3 English Breakfast, 1 Earl Grey) parmier and a gluten free brownie. Friendly service, proper cups and saucers (IKEA) and spoons, metal tea pots (one each) and little milk jugs. ($27.77 with tax) Popular on a Sunday afternoon. Good location.
Nicolas Martinez
Nicolas Martinez: Enjoyable place to sit on the covered patio. Hot chocolate is passable, Nutella crêpe was OK.
Hossein Nezam
Hossein Nezam: Prices don’t fit with the quality offered.
Tereza
Tereza: We're usually quite satisfied here - we always get the breakfast sandwich (croissant) with spinach & cheese + cappuccinos. When we visited yesterday, the sandwiches didn't seem fresh as they usually do during working days.
Ayse Karasu
Ayse Karasu: Average, prices are not compatible.
l luong
l luong: Sadly gone downhill since they first opened. Poor upkeep and front of house staff who lacks pride and enthusiasm in their work.
Mari Johnson
Mari Johnson: Came for lunch and had the most lovely ham and cheese crepe! The ingredients tasted super fresh, and the black forest ham added extra flavour compared to crepes I've had before. The interior was lovely, and I can't wait to try the sandwiches whilst I'm here too. Would recommend to anyone in downtown.
Jade B.
Jade B.: best oat spanish latte
Harjot Randhawa
Harjot Randhawa: Service is always friendly. Crepes are delicious and coffee’s are great.
Rafaelle R.
Rafaelle R.: It looks great and is always crowded so I decided to get in to have a coffee and sth else. I had a palmier. I was very disappointed.. It tasted nothing and the price was expensive. 5 cad on piece.
Kerstin Richter
Kerstin Richter: Leider schlecht organisiert.......erst kommt das Essen auf den Kaffee mussten wir warten. Der Crepe mit Pfirsich überteuert. Das Brot war sehr gut.
Rachel Kim
Rachel Kim: This place went down heel. Customer service awful. I ordered pain au chocolate and it was so tough to eat. They did not know how to warm up pastries properly so i had to ask again. It is embarrassing. Starbucks one is better than this…
Julia Hornyak
Julia Hornyak: I ordered two apple pastries and they were dry and burnt.
monky mind
monky mind: I really love their pastries and the coffee is good too. Staff have always been efficient and niceto me.
Samaneh vj
Samaneh vj: I have been a customer of Paris for a few years now, but the service and quality have declined a lot over the years. I always ask for an extra hot coffee, but they usually do not pay attention or care about the request, and it is typically cold. On Sunday, we had a terrible experience. A new girl named Kelly started working there a few months ago, and she has horrible customer service; she never smiles, and if you ask her a question, she does not answer. Yesterday, whenever she gave us our things at the end of the counter, she would not settle them gently; she would slam them down instead. I complained to one of the managers yesterday, but he laughed instead of trying to fix the situation. I will not go back there again; many more coffee shops downtown will provide much better service without attitude.
