Phil LeGree: Never be late or you’ll have very little chance of a window table.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Shweta Dalvi: Beautiful experience! What a view.. Nice ambience and Addie our server was the best! He was very professional and friendly. Food taste is OK but food presentation was really nice! Perfect place for celebrations and at the end they treat you with a piece of cake if its your birthday! :)
Enno S: It has an incredible view over the city and it's quite fun to point out things you see/ places you've been while you rotate. You see waterplanes and helicopters landing and a bit of the harbour. The restaurant is pretty expensive, but if you go during happy hour and order a beer or two (CAD 8-9) you can stay for a while and make a full rotation (60min). The staff was very nice aswell.
BreeAnna Lasher: Such a cool experience. The service was amazing. They do have a one entre per person rule so no sharing or ordering only appetizers! The view was amazing and we revolved about 2 times in 2 hours so it’s not too fast to make you sick
João Menezes: Very expensive and food is really bad, if at least food was good ok, but the food is very very bad.

Alois Callemyn: This is a must see when visiting Vancouver. There is a elevator that normally you have to pay to go up, but just tell them that you’re going to the restaurant and it’s free. We went at happy hour (3-4) and got a window side table. The view is unreal! We got cocktails (great) and apps (ok) and our bill was $68, plus tip.We enjoyed our drinks and got to see a complete revolution (1 hour), a 360° view of the Harbour and Downtown.I will go back as soon as possible. Oh, be sure to ask for Vicky, as she is a blast.

Brix and Mortar: what do users think?
Shawn Joseph: It's absolutely perfect for the time you don't mind splashing a bit extra $$$!The food was to die for. You have to get the burrata salad to start off with. The mains are up to you. However, for the dessert, I still dream about that vietnamese coffee creme brulee. It was the definition of heaven. Finally, the servers were awesome and fun to talk to. They treated you like they were your pals.
Jiajyun Wang: This restaurant is perfect for a romantic date. We were lucky to sit in the courtyard on the second floor, just like having a date in a beautiful garden. As for the food, we ordered shrimp and fried cauliflower salad for appetizers, and they were both stunning. The flavors were rich and delightful. The steak and chicken for the main course maintained the high standards of a great restaurant
MG: Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5More
Brandon Wadley: We ate here last week and randomly spotted it was featured in Yellowjackets S1 E4. The feed was great, service was on point, ambiance beautiful! We came for our honeymoon and they brought us champagne to toast!
Carter & Madison Hougen: The definition of fine dining. This place has a great atmosphere, wonderful staff, and excellent food! The beef tenderloin is the best meal I’ve ever had, with the barbecue shrimp to start. Delicious!
Benny Hao Bin Li: Brix and Mortar is a restaurant that offers a memorable culinary adventure, leaving a lasting impression on its guests. My dining experience at this establishment was a combination of impressive highlights and a few areas that could be improved upon. The ambiance at Brix and Mortar is undeniably charming. The interior design exudes elegance and sophistication, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The service provided by the staff (Savannah?) was attentive and courteous, ensuring that our needs were met throughout the evening. The servers were knowledgeable about the menu and offered insightful suggestions. However, there was a moment when I informed the waiter of a small hair on the ramen egg of the Ahi Tuna Salad (I think you can see it on the picture). Since I have already split the salad with my family members, I wasn't expecting anything other than a follow up. The waiter said "let me check with the kitchen", took away the egg, and never came back with an apology or any follow up.The menu at Brix and Mortar offers a diverse range of dishes, showcasing the creativity and skill of the culinary team. We ordered the Ahi Tuna Salad, Burrata Di Puglia, Wild Sockeye Salmon, Lamb Neck, and Steak. The flavors were generally well-balanced, and the presentation was visually appealing. All the dishes were exceptional aside from the Steak, which was satisfactory, but not outstanding. The cocktails we ordered (Stregarita, Sakura Blossom, and Basil Exposition) were delicious as well.Overall, Brix and Mortar is a restaurant that offers a memorable dining experience with its refined ambiance, attentive service, and creative menu. Although there were a few minor areas for improvement, the overall experience was enjoyable and left a positive impression.Atmosphere and Environment: 5/5 Lovely!Service: 4/5 Minor incident that had occured.Food: 4.5/5 All the dishes were great and exceeded expectations aside from the Steak.Drinks 4.5/5

Robert Zheng: Would Return.A refined establishment with a strong menu and excellent service.Tartare: One of the best I've had - strong mustard, creamy, tang, good chew, taste of steak still comes through. I like the carb as it is short and crumbly, adding good texture without scratching your mouth.Takes AMEX. Expect $60-$70pp.

Chambar Restaurant: what do users think?
Mina: Such a great experience. The meal was amazing, the staff were so friendly, and the flavours were top notch.
Veronnica: Absolutely amazing food. They were also very good with my food allergies. Not only was I accommodated I had flavorful and amazing food. Went for brunch, which is hard to get my egg, dairy, and gluten allergy accommodated but it was amazing. They have an amazing gluten free bread, without egg and dairy.Their bacon and apple side was the most incredible bacon I’ve had in forever. Must get.Was told their dinner menu is extremely gluten free, dairy free, and egg free friendly.
Brenda W: Service was very good. However the mussels were so-so. Some mussels were overcooked, some smelled fishy (not fresh), some stringy and some fresh. Not sure what happened.
Sandeep Dhaliwal: Good food.
Kate Blackwood: perfect perfect perfect, what could be improved? absolutely nothing. their waffles? show stopping, met with great service and a cute area. Doesn’t seem too busy either, but it’s always nice to make a reso just incase
Jo B: The moule frites is my favourite dish of all time! A must get. The sour dough is also tasty. I love that they have mocktail options. The vibes inside are fine dining with none of the expectations of that. It’s a really great place to stop for dinner.
Leslie Gilker: Tasty Sunday brunch with the kids. Everything was delicious and finished with their famous waffles and tasty dipping saucesFood: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Lloyd Gerry: Very delicious brunch. The beer selection was wild. Some really amazing European beers. Would recommend!!!Recommended dishes Braised Short Ribs …More
Claire Blair: Dinner here was great, as always. Amazing food, service and ambience. Was expecting to have steak frites but when that wasn’t on the menu we ordered the bison carpaccio and it was sooo good. The Congolese mussels and broth are so delicious and I’m always surprised how many are in there! Very filling. They have such a great liquor menu too, including hard-to-find Belgian Trappist beers, and Fortaleza tequila. Fun to sit at the bar and converse with the friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Mark: Moules Frites - Congolaise - Probably the best/freshest/largest mussels I have ever had. Fries were kind of an afterthought and nothing special but would recommend getting a side of sourdough bread so you don't waste all the sauce.
Hyunju Jo: Foooooods are great!!! Wanna visit every quarterly. Because they change the menu quarterly(or seasons?)
Tony Durke: Went to an organized event there on Friday and the service and food and drinks were impeccable. We have been going to Chambar for years and it has never once slipped in its excellence.Everything about the place is gold. I always recommend it to anyone coming in from out of town.

Aimee & Jenna Hobbs: We were in Vancouver this past weekend and went to Chambar Saturday evening for dinner. Our server Dylan was just lovely. She was knowledgeable about the menu and able to help our thirteen year old who is celiac navigate each of the dishes that could be made gluten free. Several people at our table had mussels conglaise and really enjoyed them. My niece and I had the lamb which was delicious and my son had the steak and ate every single bite. We will definitely be going again! Thank you Dylan!
SN: The service here is excellent and food and drinks are really great. Big fan of the shakshuka and waffles with salted caramel.
Leigh McBain: Enjoyed the evening a great deal. It was our first time, had never actually heard of it before. Service was excellent, the food the same and a great vibe. From a price perspective it sits middle of the road - easy to spend more, easy to spend less, but the value proposition was there. We will definitely be going back.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Thon Grille, Carpaccio De Boeuf …More
Renée Frenette: Two words: brunch reservations.Need I say more? The food is very good. Very delicious and satisfying brunch options. I find the staff so nice- I really feel that they want to make the experience a good one. It's a go-to for us to bring visiting family and friends.

Florence Wong: I was here celebrating Mother's day on the weekend. We made the right decision to come one week before otherwise we wouldn't have been seated by the window. The view of coal harbour and the snow topped mountains were incomparable and serene. The ambiance and decor was also excellent. Our server was attentive and welcoming. We ordered the $65 pp high tea service which came with a small selection of tea. Certain choices required additional cost. We also ordered a la cart caviar. The variety and portions of food was perfect. We even had left overs!I would've given 5 stars if the tea selection was larger.Overall I'd recommend visiting this restaurant and would definitely come back for other special occasions.
Ali Nematollahi: We went to Five Sails for dinner. First time at Five Sails. My girlfriend has a number of food allergies and the restaurant was very very very accommodating! Food was great, atmosphere was very pleasant.Best of all was our server, Raymond. He was incredibly attentive and a gentleman! He was literally the best server I've ever had to deal with in Vancouver!!We both really enjoyed the restaurant! We will definitely go back again.Parking: Lots of parking lots aroundDietary restrictions: They are very accommodation to dietary restrictions

david procter: I accompanied my wife and mother to the Five Sails for Afternoon Tea on a Sunday afternoon. What a FABULOUS experience. From the GM Jason to his Greeter and to Jordan our server The staff was warm. Friendly. Knowledgeable and attentive. And hugely welcoming. Thanks so much. The tea started with a wonderful glass of bubbly. Followed by tasty tea I tried the Nutcracker black tea. Flavours of hazelnut and vanilla. Yummy. And the food which followed was exquisite Presentation alone earned outstanding marks. But the variety and flavours and textures of the offerings was outstanding. I even tried some of the caviar Bit of a rookie on that but it was very enjoyable. Definitely worth trying. Neat taste sensationsJason. Thanks so much for hosting the three of us. And to you and your staff. Our sincere thanks. We shall return !!!Cheers. David.
Randy Brown: Ambiance was fantastic, service (Michael) was great and food was extremely good!
Josh Bateman: We went to Five Sails to celebrate our 3rd year anniversary. Our table was ready as soon as we arrived and the hostess accommodated my reservation requests and gave us a great table with the most amazing view of the harbour. Shawn was our Waiter who was very friendly and attentive all evening. Shawn went above and beyond to make sure we both had a memorable anniversary. They surprised us at the end with a happy anniversary dessert. I would highly recommend Five Sails!
CHANEL SATTARA: If I could give this amazing place, view, and the exceptional service more than 5 stars I absolutely would. This the was the best dining experience I've ever had, and I'm a major foodie so that says a lot. The view is breathtaking, the service is so personal and warm, they also have VEGAN options. The drinks and the sorbetto are exceptional. I would come over and over if I still lived in Vancouver. Thank you so much Jason 3
Sahiba Speaks: Honestly this place definitely impressed me. Their customer service was above and beyond. Very loving and make you feel more than comfortable and accepted. Everyone was treated with the utmost respect and love. The customer service they gave us was just incredibly beautiful to the point where I was simply touched. We need more places like you. Thank you for treating us with love and giving us an experience where we want to come back and tell others how amazing you are. The food was fabulous and so were the drinks. I am in love with the drinks... gorgeous... The atmosphere and the energy are just breathtaking. You will leave feeling apreaciated and like a king. We deserve the best and that is exactly what you will get here with class and luxery.
Mark Epik: Great atmosphere and great service. Highly recommend the Brussel sprouts and make sure you take advantage of the cocktail menu.
C AnW: good place for dating.
Sabrina L: I absolutely love dinner but recently I came for a baby shower and it was just alright.$65 pp for high tea was a steal, but it was just okay, my favourite was the lobster biegnet.Service though was mediocre at best.We were missing a chair when we arrivedWe had to ask our server 3 x for the tea menu and she seemed not pleased when we didn't all order alcoholWe had order sparkling water but most restaurants would ask before opening the next model but she did not, she literally would top us up after every sip, before you knew it, we were 5 bottles deep between 5 people (wasted full glasses at the end)Asked her twice to take away our food and her timing was just really off for everythingWas less than pleased with her serviceParking: Parking lot was fullTried to valet but there was noneEnded up work street parking $8/hrWe parked for 3 hrs for a total $24

David Yu: Terribly Slow Service. We came here at 11:35, ordered at 11:40. We just left the restaurant at 12:52 and never got served our food. We have two young kids that were hungry and whiny because of the wait. Manager wasn’t even apologetic when we kept asking where our food was. In fact, he was very rude. Garbage service and it’s sad to see such a good restaurant go downhill. Wasted our time and wasted our parking cost. We ended up going to McDonald’s because that was faster than continuing to wait. DO NOT come here!!!Update: my 2 hour parking expired at 1:11pm. We got our McDonald’s order at 1:13pm. Guaranteed that this would’ve been quicker than our season’s order. The customer service here on McDonald’s main and 29th is excellent. They’re much better trained here. We’ve come here for some very special occasions over the years, including a dinner right before my proposal. I’m more disappointed than anything.
Patricia Lam: Had a group lunch here, service was great and we received frequent coffee refills
Glen Goodwin: An amazing experience with incredible food. Beautiful surroundings as well. The sirloin was perfect
sajjad rostami: The food was nothing special. Ordered egg bennies and it was too heavy. The service wasn’t that good.
Vimla Nascimento: My husband frequents this when he has to take out people from work and he told me I'd love it. So he took me here today and it was amazing. The area the restaurant is in looks welcoming and nice. When I walked into the restaurant, it was definitely a breathtaking experience. It felt like a fancy restaurant. The main thing about this restaurant is the views. As everyone has probably mentioned in all their reviews, but that scenery you get is astonishing. Your at the highest point in the city and as a reward, you get to see the mountains, Vancouver downtown, and all the greenery. The food was pretty good.We got the Lois Lake Steelhead Salmon, Wood Grill Chicken, and Lobster Tail. The service was good. The waiter was very nice and professional. The prices weren't super expensive. They were quite reasonable and similar to other restaurants.I would definitely go back again and recommend.

The atmosphere, maturity of the servers, comfort of seating, views and delicious meals make it one of the best for sure. Our server Matthew was perfect in every way, and spot on with recommendations. Sure made for a wonderful experience. His suggestion to have the pork chop was spot on and truly perfectly cooked and served. Absolutely delicious. And other meals just as good. Perfect flavours and presentation. All round service support was also fantastic. Will surely be back for Prime Rib Sunday! An absolutely great dinner and perfect for spoiling mom on Mother’s Day.

So this is their way!!!! Rude
Fred Raputznik: Incredible views, service, and food. What else can be said about a 5-star restaurant in the middle of one of Vancouver’s most bucolic parks? Anyone who visits the Blodel Conservatory must head over to Seasons for at least a drink and soak in the one-of-kind aerial view of the lower mainland. A truly memorable experience!

Kyle Stewart: This is an amazing restaurant for vegans and vegetarians. They've got an exquisite menu and their staff is super friendly and happy. Our group (all vegeterians) enjoyed the experience of dinning in dark with our server Liza. she is too kind and helpful. Coctail drinks were amazing as well. Will definitely come back!
Myles Bowley: A really unique experience. Food was surprisingly good, service was excellent, Yuko was very friendly and a pleasure to chat with. I recommend doing the surprise meals/drinks as it keeps things fun.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Ben Whybrow: Temper your expectations, the prices and idea don’t equate to a fancy dining experience. It feels like your patronage is to support the visually impaired not for a nice dining experience.Firstly our server was excellent attentive and friendly. The complete darkness is unique and makes you empathise with the blind but fails to enhance the dining experience. Instead of heightening your other senses to enjoy the flavours of the meal or to have a more intimate conversation it only highlights the loud ambiance and bland, dry and basic meals that are given. The meals don’t have to be visual masterpieces or super complex in their construction. A well thought out and well executed menu full of flavour and texture is what is needed to enhance the dining experience, turning it from a charitable opportunity for the visually impaired to a fine dining experience.I went with my girlfriend for a date with a reservation of 6:30 and were seated at 7:15. Tables are without water glasses and the napkins provided are disposable paper ones which made it immediately feel gimmicky and cheap. We had the two course meal including starters and mains. The starters were tiny but of good quality. We both had the surprise main which was risotto, basic vegetables and leek wrapped fish. We both mistook the fish for egg for at least half the meal as it was so gummy and dry. The cocktails were nice but a bit expensive for their size. The meal ended up costing us $114.00 before tip.
Cherie Wakefield: Such a strange and awesome experience. Everyone definitely needs to do this at least once. I gave up with cutlery at some points! Our server/ guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We went with the mystery option for everything....why not! Great experience.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

L K: Fantastic! A must for anyone who enjoys dining out.
Kimberly mae Mateo: It was a great experience plus the food was amazing. Big thanks to Joe who gave an excellent service!
Bing Z: Very unique experience, and i love the beetroot salad!
Frank Floster: What a cool a experience. This was a gift so I didn't know what to expect. I highly suggest trying these guys out!
Rahul Seth: Not for everyone. Kids not recommended to be accompanied as they might get scared and uncomfortable. We had to exit as all kids and even a few adults in our group started to panic. Extremely rude owner.

Michael Yun: Went here twice before CoVID service good food is meh, but the experience is good. You come here and experience what is like being blind in a pitch-black world and what it feels like as a blind person. Not to dine with lights on. To the Karen who complain is too dark. When you made the reservation the restaurant did you even bother to read the details on what this restaurant is about? Coz they clearly explain what the experience will be like.
Katrina M: Went for dinner for the first time and it’s a very interesting concept. There were 2 birthdays and the entire restaurant sang which I loved. There were people loudly coughing in the restaurant, maybe I was very aware of the sounds around. It was a Saturday night so maybe it was busier than normal since service was fairly slow, you don’t get any check ins so we waited a fair bit between courses and I felt like asking to go to the bathroom would be a hassle. It’s 100% dark so you can’t get up and go anywhere on your own. You order outside, they guide you to a specific area to pay when done, and you need to wait for a guide to exit. Again, maybe it was just very busy. Anticipate to spend 2 hours here.I ordered the fish of the day and really enjoyed it but didn’t like the “surprise” starter or dessert. When paying I was told there are 5 desserts so maybe I just got unlucky.
Ramona Sharma: A truly unique experience that everyone should try out.
Anton Briones: Really fun and unique experience. The waiter was amazing and created such a great experience. Will definitely be back!

Completely sobering experience being in total darkness. The food was good, unsure of what we were having , heightening the experience. Prices were great! We would all go back just to have Joe as our server again 💕

Sarina Trc: Friendly and efficient service. The place itself is nicely decorated. I loved their mumbai chai and my mom liked their chocolate macroon tea. I got the dairy+gluten free set and the food was ok - I think their sandwiches could be tastier as a few were bland. Their bathroom could be cleaner.

Joy Elyse: My husband made us a reservation here to celebrate my birthday. We arrived for our reservation and were told that our assigned table was on the patio (on the street where there had previously been a parking spot). We were not expecting or prepared to sit in the sun, and we just barely managed an arrangement to keep my infant son under the shade of an umbrella. When we booked our reservation, there was no spot to indicate a preference for indoor or outdoor seating. And we noted that our 3rd guest was an infant. I could not believe they booked us on the patio, in the sun, with traffic loudly passing by just a few feet from us. FYI there were non-sunny patio spots on the sidewalk but they were “reserved.”Was really looking forward to the full experience of afternoon tea, and I felt that sitting at a dirty table on the street was not the experience I signed up for. There is a time and place for patio dining, but this was not it! I’m sure I came across rude and entitled to the staff, but I was just in disbelief at how terrible it all was.
The Shady Brunch: Experience overall was good. I have celiac and they do have gluten free menus even if they weren’t as tasty as the traditional menu smelled. Mimosas were delicious. Be aware that your time is only 90mins and they will start nudging you out if you don’t start moving. The Service we had was good.
Brooke Lebihan: Gorgeous vibe and great service! I attended the Spring high tea with a friend and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The variety of tea options was the best that I've found at a high tea restaurant before. Would recommend the BUMBLEBERRY OKAPI' for anyone a fan of deep berry flavours!
Enjinia Solutions: We have come here multiple times and we have also bought teas every time we have visited. We are already aware of the limited set time that is allocated to each table. We felt extremely rushed this time with the staff hovering around us. They constantly kept looking at our table. They surrounded the table even before our allotted time was up. I was wearing my jacket with still some time left but they were already taking things away and spraying the table with sanitizer etc. It was a birthday celebration but this service left me feeling unwanted and uninvited at that moment. My feedback would be this - if you have given the customers 1.5 hours, that is totally fine, and we are aware of it too, until we overstay, let us enjoy our 1.5 hours, please do not rush us when there is still 30 min or 20 min left to get the tables ready for the next group. It causes anxiety and it should not be the case, we are here to enjoy and experience something nice and create good memories. Instead set the booking slots such that after each party has left and has enjoyed their 1.5 hours, you have 10-15 min to clean and set the table (which is not taken away from the previous customer's time) for the next customer. This will be great, we still love the place, but please don't rush us when we still have time left, it feels very hostile and unwelcomed. Thank you and we look forward to visiting again!
al may: I've been to Neverland three times over the years, and it remains my favourite place for Afternoon Tea. The food remains consistently delicious and creative, the service is great and the teas are lovely. I was there yesterday to celebrate a friend's birthday. The last time I went was before the pandemic. I did notice that their scones seems a bit smaller than they were last time I was there. We still had a great time. I would love to go back again to try their other themed menus, like the Coronation Menu next month.
Emily S: Such a fun experience! I've been on two occasions with different friends, and I can't wait to go back as the menu changes seasonally! Can't recommend the Almond Joy tea enoughVegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options, and the staff was happy to make substitutions for dietary restrictions.Wheelchair accessibility: Some of the tables are pretty close together, but the staff seem to rearrange the tables somewhat frequently, so I'm sure they can accommodate for a wheelchair, especially if you call ahead and let them know.
Eunice Marie Lazarro: My best friend & I celebrated our birthday here at Neverland Tea! We both had a wonderful experience, the service & ambiance was lovely, not busy on a Tuesday morning and we both received our own birthday treat! They have a variety of treats, traditional & gluten & dairy free. We tried a few of the bottomless teas and we enjoyed the "Tiger Lily Jasmine Tea" & their classic Earl Grey Tea.Definitely coming back here☺️
Dhwani Babla: Cute place with GREAT tea!! The food was so so compared to other places but the tea was fantastic.
Sam Kuypers: Always a fun and unique experience. My friends appreciate the quality vegan options.Recommended dishes Mad Hatter High Teas, Scones, Traditional High Tea, Neverland's Winter High Tea Gluten Free Dairy Free, Afternoon Tea …More

Brian M. Demkowicz: First visit. Whimsical atmosphere with friendly server who appeared to enjoy working there. Huge selection of teas, but really would have been nice if they had some decaf options that weren't over-the-top fruit or spice-based. For the price, there's no reason they could at least offer a decaf black or green tea to their line-uo. I get that you can't have decaf versions of the more exotic selections. Finger sandwiches and pastries were good, but a few of the items didn't seem as fresh as the others. Scones were wickedly delicious. I went as part of a small birthday gathering, and someone else paid so I don't have a lot of room to complain about anything. If I happen to find myself there again though, I think I'd limit myself to a scone and tea... or a full-size Thai red curry egg salad sandwich, which was delicious and left me wanting more.Dietary restrictions: Traditional, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options were available.
Stephanie: I came here because of the good reviews but was severely underwhelmed. We booked a table for the Alice in Wonderland event. The food was alright and the tea selection was broad for sure, but the ambiance of the place is like a shotty cafeteria. The only thing they really did for the Alice in Wonderland theme was tape blown up playing cards on the wall (lol) and some of the desserts had themed decor. It was so crowded despite needing reservations that the table next to us was basically sitting with us. I guess if you just care about the tea or food then it’s ok, but for the price we paid I was really expecting a better atmosphere, service, decor….but everything was so lacklustre. We also felt very rushed as the server reminded us at least 4 times that there’s a time limit to stay, at 15 minute intervals after our first half hour. Really disappointing experience, save your money.
Julia: We know this place is meant for special occasions but it was so good the first time we ended up going 3 weeks in a row! As someone who has to eat vegan and gluten free (for allergies) this place has made me feel so included. They have an option literally called "Vegan and Gluten Free" - and it's so good that even my friends that don't have the same allergies as me love it. The quality and complexity of each piece is wonderfully thought out and the tea selection is amazing. On top of that, the service is always wonderful, elegant, and professional. We're really trying to wait until their Spring menu before we go back again, but trust me when I say it's hard not to want to go here all the time!Vegetarian options: VeganKid-friendliness: Saw lots of kids here, but they were all dressed very sweet and were very respectfulDietary restrictions: Gluten Free, Vegan
Rhea D: I have to be honest, I was beyond disappointed with my experience here. My friend made a booking for my birthday and although our main server was pleasant enough, there was another one who was shockingly rude, impatient and clearly didn’t want to be there. The brunette with the long dark hair was grumpy and begrudgingly dumped our tray off without a smile and with a lot of attitude. She was impatient with basic questions , both of us were polite so there was no reason to have such a strange attitude towards us. When we asked for a spoon since the weird little honey pot that they had was entirely inadequate to actually add honey to your tea she —no exaggeration—came back and literally tossed a large spoon on our table. We didn’t even have our tea trays explained to us. I’m not used to this kind of service at an afternoon tea seating. The food wasn’t good either, it’s cute looking (likely for Instagram) but the flavours and ingredients were nothing I’d bother having again —very overpriced for what felt like small portions of grocery store deli food.I couldn’t eat half the sweets, the scone and devon cream was also disappointing . Overall the afternoon tea was incredibly imbalanced, there was way too many high-sugar bland sweets (as mentioned, most of which were kind of inedible) and not enough savory offerings.Further disappointing was that the tea itself was very poor quality and most weren’t brewed correctly. (I used to work in the tea industry). We tried 6 flavours and sadly all if them were either weak, cold or unpalatable. One reminded me if cold seaweed broth. Different types of teas call for different brewing times/temps of which this salon clearly doesn’t care—the absolute irony. Overall, both the flavours ,and the tea selection were unremarkable.I also didn’t enjoy the scheduled seating approach. That say you have 90 minutes but rush you out much earlier than that to set up for the next seating. (Easily corrected for with some staggered seating times). You get reminded that you’re going to leave repeatedly starting 30 minutes in advance, and 10 minutes later they try to take everything off your table and hustle you to pay at least 15 minutes before the 90 minutes are up.The music was also disruptive to the ambience (strange kind of John Mayer-esque pop music)All in all, with the grumpy attitude from the one server and the rushing everyone out before the seating is done both of us felt very much like our presence was an inconvenience at this salon. There are much better options in the city. I’m definitely going to return to have high tea at other salons in the future. We have absolutely no desire to come back here unfortunately. It was an incredibly disappointing birthday experience for me.
Nancy Khanghura: It's one big open room. you can hear your neighbors conversation. The food was okay ..the price on the site is wrong . Service is very good .Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More

kelven wong: Love enjoying all the restaurants we have in Vancouver. Bishop’s has been on my list for a while and glad we made it.An amuse bouche (croquette) compliments of the chef was a nice way to start our meal. We had their Dungeness crab and sockeye salmon cake with grilled asparagus and a lemon-basil mayo. Very nicely done and perfectly cooked & bursting with flavour. For the first main, we enjoyed their pan roasted halibut fillet with watercress, broccolini and pistachio sauce. Beautifully prepared and the sauce paired very well with halibut.I loved their roasted duck breast. A stunning dish and perfectly cooked with apples, carrots and pomme purée.A beautiful way to end the meal with their earl grey madelins, maple almonds and candied ginger. Their service throughout is excellent and made the experience so much better!
Maling Sun: Bishop’s is the restaurant to celebrate special events in a romantic setting. The food was exquisite and beautifully plated. The service was impeccable with multiple staff ensuring our dining experience was perfect. The amuse bouche was a nice touch. The Dungeness Crab and Sockeye Salmon Cake was yummy as it was moist with forward crab and salmon taste. If you enjoy fish protein you won’t be disappointed with Pan Roasted Halibut Fillet. I enjoyed the pistachio sauce and spring vegetables with the halibut. Roasted Duck Breast was rich and decadent. We thoroughly enjoyed dining in at Bishop’s Restaurant.
Charlie Wang (CharlesLanding): Amazing evening. Great service and very reasonable pricing. The menu is perfect. Mushroom risotto is the dark horse and super tasteful.
Guy Dalcourt: Incredible wine choices
Grahame Rainey: This was our first visit to the famous Bishop's restaurant. It really does live up to its reputation. The food was amazing. I could eat plate after plate of the crab and salmon cake appetizer. Service was impeccable. Highly recommended.
Iris C.: Best in class restaurant. Service, food, drinks, ambience. I felt very welcomed, valued, and every morsel and sip was so very yummy!
Jesse: Top three restaurants in Vancouver. Top of the line food and service. Great atmosphere too.
Robert Larson: Our go to place for special occassions. Impeccable, friendly service.

David Gallegos: Great place to get our pre-race pasta (we were running the Vancouver Half Marathon the following day). They were responsive and friendly when I was making the reservations, and dinner was also handled well. Although they were very busy that night, service was attentive and food was consistently delicious.
Seyyed Ali Ghasemizadeh: I got a Take Out order of Spaghetti Ragu and Marinated Olive as a side dish, and let me tell you that it was not only freaking delicious, but also the size and amount of the dish was enormous..I am a pig, and I can eat non-stop. However, I couldn't finish all of it in one sitting.. it was too much .. and it was delicious. You get way more than expected for a reasonable price.Strongly recommend 👌Thank you, Zeff!!👍🤟
Pooneh Ashja: My experience at Zaferelli’s was mixed. While the mussels we ordered as a starter were delicious, the dish I ordered (Tortellini Gorgonzola) was extremely salty and had to be sent back.Unfortunately, getting the attention of our server was a challenge due to the restaurant being super busy. By the time I wanted to order something else, my partner had almost finished his meal, so I decided not to order another food.I also ordered Whiskey Sour which was not bad.Overall, while we enjoyed the mussels and the drinks, we were not impressed by the service and food.
Chris Aiena: The sign outside advertising 'Spaghetti Joint" was amusing and curious. The reviews sounded promising so we decided to be adventurous and made reservations. So glad that we did. Ambiance is romantic and non pretentious. Food is fresh and delicious. Waitstaff warm, knowledgeable and friendly. Best Italian food that we have had in a very long time.
Robert Loose: We saw a sign saying "Zefferelli's Spaghetti Joint" and decided to give it a try. What a find! My wife had veal piccata, I had linguini con vongole (clams). Best I've ever had! Natania Huckabay: Zeffirelli’s is one of the best, most tasty restaurants I’ve been to. They have quick service, delicious complementary bread, & big portions. However, this sounds nit-picky but totally throws me off each time I’ve been in— the music they play is terrible! Feels like I’m in a cheap dance club, not an antique, 4-star authentic italian restaurant in the heart of the city. Nice dinner jazz or even just regular instrumental music would up my review to 5 stars.
celisha delawsky: Great Italian place on Robson with very good food and we had fantastic service from Chris. ( I was feeling particularly sassy and he handled it like a champ lol). Lovely atmosphere …. And they made a food accommodation for our ‘hard to please’ 11 year olds and it was a big hit too! Thanks everyone for a wonderful dinner! … sorry , forgot to take pictures but we had eggplant parm, bruschetta, tortellini and a few chicken Parms. It was all delicious!
Phoenix Liu: Best red sauce I’ve ever had, huge portions for the price, and cozy ambience. Love this place!
Willem Peterson: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Selene Wong: Food was very good, only reason it’s 4 and not 5 stars was the wait. The food took almost half an hour to arrive. That aside, would recommend.
Akash Lal: The food will always be excellent. However, there's this one hostess or waitress who has the worst attitude. "Kay mmhm yup" no hello or anything. Our actual waitress was an angel and so amazing. Aside from that, you can't go wrong coming here to eat. Tables may be a little small, but wow the food is to die for. If you're in van, I'd recommend coming here at least once
Joshua Trommel: Four star for the radio pop. For the love of pasta, play some soft dinner jazz.

Janell Natekar: Food: I had been bragging to my family and friends about Le Crocodile since the first time I went there, so it was a bit sad to see some of them disappointed by their meals. My partner wasn't impressed by the large piece of cauliflower in a literal pool of olive oil for his appetizer, or the spinach drenched in oil with his salmon, to the point he had difficulties with eating it. My mother ordered a ribeye medium rare, and it came mostly well done to nearly overcooked in sections. There were a few misses for sure with some of the meals. But the others were just as rich and excellent as I remembered, and their specials were not to be missed! Here was the best of what we had:Appetizers: They had a white asperagus that v had been imported with a little seafood topping and sauce; my mother complained that the portion was small for the price, but the flavours were out of this world and I hadn't experienced anything quite like this sweet and savoury dish. My escargots were delicious as usual, and this is one of my favourite places for them (though there was a general concensus that there can never be enough garlic). The frogslegs were so delicious with a little sauce that really made then. The deep fried lobster was delicious; I'd never have thought to do that with such a delicacy and it was very good! Some must tries, all of them!Main dishes: I highly recommend that you get their special on the venison of you're going there soon! The sauce was rich and the meat was so tender! The veal was also an excellent choice from their main menu and had a thick and creamy sauce as well. I personally enjoyed the lamb shank and the truffle gnoochi, a strong rich flavour and very filling.Dessert: they started us with a small pear palate cleanser that was so delicious! And then finished with a chocolate crocodile that was very professional. I also had the meringue souffle with creme anglais. It was so nice, fluffy, and comparatively light after a rich meal, I highly recommend it!White Wine: I generally love a very sweet and smooth white wine, and their gerwurtztraminer hit the spot! I'm picky and this was so delicious, several others at the table also picked it up.Overall, if I wanted to save up and plan a special event here again, I would! Really delicious, still one of my favourite places I've eaten! Be prepared for the price, but I nearly had to be rolled out of there by the end of the meal. Very satisfying.Service: We had a large group of people booked in advance, and the table was ready for us as soon as we walked up. Please note: the cost of the reservation funds will be returned directly to your credit card, not removed from the bill the table, so you can more easily book through one person and pay separately. They were excellent with their service, and meeting requests for a caraffe of water for the table and replacement small plates and removing an alcoholic dressing on one their pallette cleansers. One drink was missed later on in the night, but they were good to apologize and made sure not to include it on the bill. They managed odd pairs of people paying and a restaurant gift card without any issue. They did an excellent job overall, and were a real pleasure to deal with.Parking: we parked at the lot across the street under the Scotiabank theater, about $8 for the evening after 6pm. Good for a carpool and a full evening.
Doretha Son: The wait staff was very nice. They were training some new people and were busy, but they made sure we were taken care of promptly. The food was good.
Kev N: Incredible food, service and ambiance. Always a must visit when in Vancouver with the familyScallop and lobster tempura dish is a must try. Duck with fois gras and pan seared scallops are so so good! Love the white asparagus special as well. The frites, pear sorbet and crocodile chocolate bites afterwards is the cherry on top of the whole experienceYou truly feel the traditional french dining experience from start to finish. Sasha K: Le crocodile is a true 5 star fine dining experience; the table settings and greetings into the restaurant alone are always immaculate. From every detail of the service to food, dining here is always top tier. I truly appreciate the wine list and their sommeliers experience in serving and pairing the wines with dinner. The food is also always as exceptional as the service and atmosphere. The foie gras crème brûlée is a standout as well as the frogs legs, escargot, and wagyu steak. Though, all dishes are exceptional and make traditional French delicacies seem more approachable. My only critique from my most recent visit would be the accompanying toast to the steak tartare. The bread was very reminiscent of sliced white bread toast and was not the most enjoyable. A nice crostini or crouton would have been better in my opinion. All in all, le crocodile is a standout in Vancouver’s fine dining scene and a must try.

J Y: A very good meal where the flavours blend very well together. The tartare was excellent as was the onion tart and the classic tomato soup. Lamb shank was very good and scallops very fresh. My only displeasure was the souffle as it was not light and airy. It was very foamy and had strong egg taste unless to mixed it with the creme anglais. Service was impeccable. We very much enjoyed the dinner and will be returning in the future.
