The Red Room: what do users think?
Heavy Dose: You can’t trust their reviews since they are giving people free coat check if they rate this place 5 stars. Obviously they are lacking if they can’t get authentic 5 star reviews. Pathetic
Emily Bailey: Dana is the BEST
Shannon Peters: Every time I go to red room the atmosphere is great, the bartenders are lovely and the bouncers are very friendly. I love that there are women bouncers. For some reason, it makes me feel safer and respected when I see a woman at the door. Dana does a great job of that. Would come back to this place again and again.
Nicole S: latin night is super fun once you actually get inside the red room!! just beware that prepaying for guest list doesn’t do anything and you still have to stand in line (i waited 90 minutes with guest list), cover is super expensive, mandatory coat check which is either $5 or free with a 5 star review
Julian Pascuas: Expensive AF, terrible service, rude staff
santiago ceballos: Great Latino parties
Alejandro Riveros Rincon: Great place to have a night out with friends !! Highly recommended
Enrico Brandoni: Avoid! Scam
Ximena Mejía Bernal: So much fun! Always good music
Camille Camara: Amazing!!
Lucas Smith: This place is awesome
Gabriela Natanek: if you’re looking for a place to celebrate cinco de mayo look no further.
Santiago Castro: Nice vibes and the staff is friendly
Edyta pacyk: I concur
Misa Nodaira: Amazing place for party
Chris R: I love red room!
Karina Shiba: I love this club! it's my fave specially on fridays for latino night!
Nicolas Palacio: Amazing environment for all the Latinos in Canada!

Fortune Sound Club: what do users think?
Ro The Artist: I had an amazing time here at Fortune Sound Club. The staff was amazing and the reason of being there was an added bonus🙌🏾 thank you to openconcept for a platform and to fortune for a place to have the platform😌🙏🏾
Dory Pentz: It was a good little venue. sound quality was good.Host were polite from the ticket taker to the Bar server! They had complementary water and clean glasses.Bathroom could use some TLC but when you go to a show your not really thinking hmm I think I'll go inspect the facilities. Overall enjoyable. The lighting was 👍
Max Qiang: Best club in town
Vlad S.: Had a lit time here! Sick venue for a concert, and reasonable bar pricing
EJ R: Best spot for music acts from all different styles. If you want to party here's the spot!
Christine Gairns: Love this venue but it's disappointing they never have H2O accessible for their guests. Waiting 45 mins in a bar line for a bottle of water is unacceptable for the amount of people who were there drinking, and does not make it accessible. My friend was so thirsty she considered drinking from the filthy bathroom sink. For a bottle of water, one bartender charged me $4.75, another $5.27, another one didn't charge me at all. Please consider having a separate (free) water station that is actually accessible to your patrons in need.
Liam Buchan: As a club: I didn't have a great time - though I'm not a big club enjoyer. As a concert venue: pretty great.
Haley Justice Anderson: RICO ABSOLUTELY AMAZING he made my birthday very special
Brendan Stolth: one of my favourite smaller venues in vancouver
Barbie Beauty: Bad music, bad drinks. Felt like I was at a middle school dance
Pourshad Sanaie: Hospitality by the staff was amazing. Shalini & Raquel were great at helping me charge my phone and making sure I got home safe. So pleasant. Can’t wait to come back!
Justin Nguyen: This is where the magic happens.
Rishika Aggarwal: Save your money and go literally anywhere else. These people don’t care about their customers, the bouncers here are just glorified statues who don’t want to do their job but rather discriminate and bully people. I don’t know how many times people will need to speak up before their management decides to make a change but save yourself the time you will spend worrying about your safety in a place like this.
Samuel Bongo: From Friday till Monday, Fortune will have you covered. Best club if you like to full send. Highly recommend you go there on a Monday and skip work on Tuesday, it's worth it. Staff and promoters have a great balance of professionality and friendliness. If you ever need anything, just ask Sam at the front--he's got you covered. Left my jacket there one time and Sam was more than happy to grab it for me on his day-off, my wallets and keys still inside!
NihilZero: ridiculous
S P: feeling very bad for attending last night event
Gen Crail: Best club for drinking and such
Cyndy Pham: loved the club/music but some of the staff are so rude. the vibe was ruined before we even got in :(
Angela de Claro: Rude bouncer
a: rude bouncer
Lauren LeBlanc: First time going to Fortune last night. The event was really fun but the door lady was extremely rude and racist towards Latin people/artists. It really started the night out badly. Very unfortunate and a bad look for the establishment. An embarrassment.

Club 816 The Bassment: what do users think?
Corey's World: I love coming to this Afterhours! 😀Lots of good times with friends and associates 👍
E La: Profiting off rememberence day is a new low...
Jeff Pope: Hosting a Remembrance Day "party" really is in poor taste. The manager trying to defend a poor decision stating he was a Veteran from France-the irony as France would not exist without Canadians saving it twice. I am off to the Cenotaph to honour six people I served with who paid the ultimate price.
Amanda Ticknor: Using Remembrance Day to drum up business but not donating any proceeds and also deleting any social media questions about it. Harsh.
Behnaz Karimi: I just been there for 2 minutes and I don’t like it because there was just 4 people and I asked for refund, but they didn’t accept that and they are so scary and Unfriendly that why I scared and didn’t ask any thing else. Don’t come to this place please
Lei Kazemi: Firstly, the hours online are apparently incorrect as they claimed at the door to open at 11:30 rather than 10:30 as posted. We came yesterday on a Sunday and it was pouring rain so we figured there might not be that many people there. We arrived at 11:15 to be angrily met with the bouncers telling us “WE ARENT OPEN!!” and when we asked if a friend who really needed to use the washroom could at least use the washroom they said no (understandable under normal circumstances, but man it was pouring rain like torrential rain and we were all soaked). When we returned they were now seemingly “open” but said there were only 10 people inside which seemed not really great for our first clubbing experience, and then on top of that they wanted $30 cash from each of us to enter???Didn’t even make it in after that, not really sure if this place is worth it- probs gonna stick to celebs
GlennRod Scharf: Enjoying a night out at my favourite After-hours Club with friends and associates 😀👍
Autumn Prince: As a 20yo looking for some late-night fun with friends, this was just the spot! Quietly hidden in the heart of granville st it was the perfect spot for my friends and I. The music was loud with high-quality bass. The dj was cool and everyone was friendly. Very fun!
Jessica Coe: They lost my friends id after she had just got a charge at 3am without consent and all the people who work there dont know how to do there job and are no help
Star 008: Have been here a few times for a fun night out with friends. A fun place to dance all evening and the owner is really cool.
Adam Stone: Good times...
Elizabeth Jarvinen: Underground afterhours with the more "colorful" assortment of patrons. like Venue, it needs more bass and wobble. not so much Trance all the time... yawn
Jack Fibowski: Security is respectful. Crowd is a hit or a miss.
daniel hosek: Watched 3 guys jump one guy at this club and the only guy sent walking by the bouncers was the one who got jumped. Regardless of circumstance never heard of a club thats run like this. Ok to fight as long as youre someones friend i guess
Matthew Reid: Shady after-hours, filled with many drugs, sketchy drug dealers and wanna-be gangster Asian kids, who think they're hard. This place needs to be shut down!
伊齡: 年紀偏大,感覺到了20年前的古老舞廳
Charmaine Johnston: I wanna go where everyone knows your name lol now i got the Cheers theme song stuck in my head haha
ROBERT C RILEY: Experience relative to type of business. Good location. Cozy enviornment.

Gorg-O-Mish Afterhours: what do users think?
Lindsey C: My brother visited last weekend as his first clubbing experience downtown. He tried to pay with his Collabria credit card and it declined. Collabria immediately nailed the transaction as fraud and blocked my brother's card for the rest of the night from making any more transactions. He could not call an Uber home which could've potentially been dangerous. As this situation does not sound like this establishments fault, the credit card company called the next day and let us know that they and other credit card companies tag this venue as fraud/spam/a "not real" transaction because of numerous problems with their point-of-sales machines. I am also writing to Collabria, but this is a heads up to not use your credit card here or it will be blocked for fraud!
Milton Quintana: Threw my pen and bottle out, they were also so rude about it for no reason when I asked
Sally K: Cool place, little expensive but the AC and music is fine
Juan Miguel Rodriguez: Worst place ever to go to the club Couldn’t believe the services I got it ruin my night couldn’t believe they check ID After 2 o clock what is even a point I wouldn’t even waste my money here also 30 bucks just to go into a room that is bearly full is beary worth it I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you want to ruin your night also found out that the special gatorade was laced with MOLLY I didn’t even know because for me I thought they were serving special Gatorade I thought it was code word for alcohol nope it was MOLLY anyway the staff was also hell rude
John Mickly: Wouldn’t even go to this place if I was on my death bed
Miracle Anih: 👌
Macy Percy: Staff was cordial and friendly but there was no bar and there was only Gatorade for 20 bucks
Marcus McCullough: The specials, the music, the people...its baaaaccckkk
Ivan Romero: Long waiting time to get in
BELLA RUBI WILDFLOWER: Very nice place to hangout people working here is very hospitable very positive attitudes I don't have family this place I find as my family I'm very safe and I feel the love on this place and I would love to say to the owner manager people working here thanks so much for being so nice and warm welcome the most important thing is the safety of costumers your priorities thank you so much
Lyndsay Amat: Decent music, late nights and great people.
Souless_Wolf: Amazing love ut there
L G: Gross after hours. 30 to get in, many people hang out on the stairs and smoke... indoors.
Laila Noksana: I was grabbed by men so many time in there.... the place is creepy and gross
Nazia Selene: I was so excited to know that there's a place that keeps the party going till 8am🙌🏾 I had an absolutely amazing time and can't wait to go back💃🏽
Jr Thebody: Awesome awesome awesome awesome place to dance and the staff are awesome
sahil gill: Place is nice but seriously security is totally baised and not helpful at all
Alisha K: I used to come here every weekend before the pandemic and I always had such a good time. I felt very safe and enjoyed the music all night long. The vibe of this place is 10/10. There’s nothing I love more the techno music itself so only come to this place if you are a techno lover. I can’t wait to be back here again soon.
Sadid Rahimi: Definitely one of the better places around in Van
D: I tried to tip the host and she kindly let me know that tip was already included in card payments. I was adamant and tried to give her cash multiple times and she declined every time. Super kind girl and appreciate her honesty.
Andrea Gotti: Looking for a fun night? Avoid this place! Or, pay the $30 entry fee, just to discover that they can serve no alcohol inside. What you can get is a gatorade, or a redbull, that's all. For as little as $25, OF COURSE... the venue was pretty empty at 3am on a Friday night, when we visited, by the way. There were people just entering, getting disappointed, and leaving in a matter of minutes. All ripped away of their entry fee, obviously. Never felt so embarassed to visit a place.

Frankie's Jazz Club: what do users think?
Kingsley Bailey: The best we'll kept secret Jazz room in the lower mainland supporting well-known acts and also the local Jazz scene and all while offering great service and food choices
Thomas Coppi Cunha: Amazingly welcome atmosphere, the server Philip was also incredible with his services.
Progressive Cardiac Services: Good times!
Gregory Kehm: I'd say the best live jazz venue in Vancouver and with superb Italian food flavours. Reservations are a very good idea. A cover charge is added when there is live music.
the awakened wanderer: Attended with group of friends. Lovely place, amazing service, awesome vibes, great food and cherry on top, Live Jazz performance by amazing amazing artist. What more can you expect for a beautiful evening.
Jacquelyn Johnston: Tonight was my first time here, went with a group of friends to hear LJ Mountenay. The music, while not jazz, was exceptionally good blues. The place was packed. The ambience, overall service, drinks and food were really good.I rated it four stars because although our server was lovely, efficient and kept our water glasses (prepoured when we arrived) full, she didn't come back to check on how we were enjoying our meals so I couldn't tell her my delicious lasagna wasn't quite hot enough. Also, while not her fault, my food contained a few bits of gristle and something herbal (leaves and stem) I couldn't chew through. I discreetly spit them into my napkin and brought it home to take a pic, but I haven't had success adding photos to reviews before. I'll try it. Perhaps someone can identify what it was. Looks a bit like bay leaf to me but it's poisonous so ... I don't know, probably not unless I die in my sleep.Okay, never mind the photo. I'm old and tired and don't want to start downloading apps. Maybe I can edit this later. As I said, overall a pleasant evening out.One more tiny note. I didn't hear the server thank me for the tip, which to me is imperative. If you expect a tip, I expect appreciation for it. I go out a fair bit, always tip but don't always get thanked and whenever that happens it makes me wish I hadn't bothered. So I'm just putting it out there to servers everywhere.By the way, the origin of tips is that it was an acronym for To Insure Prompt Service, usually given to the maitre'd to encourage fast seating and good service. Now, it's an expectation like an extra tax added to the bill. In my opinion, saying thank you is just as important a part of a server's job as saying hello with a smile. But, as I said, I'm old.
Ken Krueger WhiteCatzs: Great value for your money and home to Vancouver’s best jazz musicians. There are late night shows as well - starting around 11:30pm ( Frankie’s After Dark) with more experimental jazz performances by young up and coming musicians
Peter Myers: Nice place, good food (Italian) great music the night we were there. Early start for the music 20:00, which suited us. Not far from Expo line.
Saddesh Gurikankar: I don’t usually partake in jazz music or smoke but the other night I had a few puffs and watched the D. Restivo Trio and all I can say is that my mind has been expanded. I’ll be back to this club.
Carlyle Wilde: What an amazing way to spend a rainy Vancouver Friday night. We went for the live jazz music and we're very impressed at this well thought out intimate environment. We sat at the bar and the bartender provided an extremely high level of service. We had the Shrimp Tagliatelle in Lobster cream sauce, Chicken Parmigiana, Mussels and the Frankie's Pizza. All the items we ordered were very flavorful and I am sure all the others dishes on their men are just as delectable from this talented kitchen.
Robert Franco: Had a great time at Frankie’s Jazz Club. Good food and wine, great jazz and service, intimate venue. Can’t wait to go back.
Ula Cogito: Not great at all. Avoid it.
Political Foolishness: So you vet musical talent based on what now? Can you publish the complete list of criteria? For any future talent you book, should we scrutinize their views or sense of humor prior to coming to listen to their music? BTW, if you decide to rebook John Stetch, don't charge him a cent and make your announcement on Rebel News. I can guarantee your place will be full and you will be glad to welcome him back and all will be forgotten about this unfortunate political entanglement you have made for yourselves.
David Kujawa: You start bending to the mob of cancel culture then your time will come to be cancelled. Such a shame you have no backbone.
julian ferrer: frankies
N Boyko: Disappointed to hear about your venue’s recent decision to cancel the John Stetch musical performances. He is clearly a brilliant pianist and has dabbled in comedic impressions of prominent politicians. There is nothing inappropriate about engaging in humour to affect change in the political arena or cultural landscape. This has been the great thing about living in Canada—lots of creative comedians over the years poking fun at some of the ridiculous and often hypocritical things politicians say. It seems we’ve lost the ability to see humour for what it is, just that: humour. A small group has conspired to “cancel” Mr. Stetch based on a complete lack of understanding and context of his political satire. Frankie’s Jazz Club, unfortunately, has chosen to cave to this group of intolerant and immature people, rather than encouraging Mr. Stetch’s creativity in both music and comedy.
Cindy Dai - Thiessen: A flagship venue for jazz music in Vancouver. Great for the attentive-listening crowd. One of the only places in the city that now has a late night series (starts at 11:15 pm) that showcases creative music that tethers from the jazz and improvised music tradition. Good cocktails!
Matt Franceschini: Incredible staff and wonderful music!
jeff anderson: Really disappointed that you discriminate against talented artists who may have their own personal beliefs and political views. John Stetch is an amazing pianist and a lovely person. We have loved and thoroughly enjoyed his performances in the past. We definitely won't be returning to your venue as long as you exclude musicians based on hear say.
michelle: This is a great place to see and hear great local and international musicians! Special shoutout to the staff for giving their time to accommodate the late night series; it couldn’t be done without them.
Ella King: I really enjoy music in general. I like to see all kinds of artists share their love of music and skill with people like me who were not given this talent.Musicians communicate through the stroke of a guitar string, a beat of a drum or through the combination of piano keys. It takes us from a place in the present world, which can be confusing and hard to understand, to a world where all there is, is the music. There are no politics, there are no arguments, there is no right or wrong, there is just the emotions brought forward by the notes being played. To have this establishment cancel an accomplished musician for his comedy spoofs based on real events, has me in disbelief. Do you know the beliefs of ALL of your performers - I highly doubt that. Gone are the days where we actually give people the benefit of the doubt.Frankie's needs to get back to being about the music.

Real Estate: Warm, inviting and gracious.
Doruk Sahinoz: Came for the drinks, stayed for Jon the Bartender.
Benjamin Komen: Nice cafe with live music
Geoff Dyck: Man this is a great venue.Downstairs is also one of the best east side dives.
Owen Lu: Always chill and good vibes. Great selection of beers too
Neil Meade: Much bigger than what pictures seems to show. Still, the peeps make the venue seem cozy and quaint. They have a good chunk of seating but would recommend getting there before your show; seats run out yo. Saw Michaela slinger there. So. Sick. Holymoly.
Scott Gibson: Clean, well run and the friendliest staff ever. There to see Jon Bryant who did not disappoint. Rock on!
Ian Moar: Fun small venue for live music
Benjamin pasqua: Beautiful place
Michael McCahon: Great little venue. Perfectly little stage with nice, comfy chairs and a nearby bar. The host and sound person were great and the audience was very friendly and supportive. Great for open mic nights (first Thursday of every month).
Danka Mont: Best place to have drinks and play some board games 💯
Jay's Cats: Awesome pool table and a great place for darts
Ed Reay: Cool spot and open late. Bit of a dark and dingy feel to it. Pool and darts are fun.Strange/aggressive regular bartender. Have been here a couple of times and on both occasions the same bartender was rude to customers and was very upset he didn't receive a tip
Trevor Record: One of the few unchanged constants in Vancouver
Avery McLean: Fair priced beer, solid pool table, dart boards, friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. What else can you ask from a bar? On top of that, I've met some really cool people here, so they know what a gem this is. Lifetime member :)
Zareh Megerdoonian: A legendary establishment, one of the few remaining gems in this city!
Eric Ayache: I walked into this place a few weeks ago for the first time and I loved it right away. A perfect man cave for everyone to hang out and play in.
Jade Andersen: Lovely place to play pool or darts and have a cheap beer! You are welcome to bring your own food here, too. The playlists are mostly nineties and early 2000s alternative rock. Great hangout for millenials.
Old Crank: Anza Club has a great comedy show on the weekends. Enjoyed the night with friends. Our Drinks were not expensive.
Haroon “Harry” Rahiman: Wish I lived in Vancouver, would visit more often. Great laid back atmosphere, excellent dart boards and well selected local beers on tap... Go

Rufus Guitar and Drum Shop: what do users think?
Brian Pareis: Always friendly and professional. Never pressure. Just kind information and quality service from a local, independent legend.
Susan Braverman: Rufus Guitar and Drum Shop are still, by far, the best place to buy guitars in BC! Whether you are an experienced guitar player or brand spanking new, they will take the most amazing care of you! They know what they're doing, they know what they're talking about, and their number one priority is to make sure you get the best service possible and walk out the front door with the best guitar for you. And Josh, thank you for taking such good care of us!
Riverbed Marketing: Great music staple in Vancouver, one of a few locations.Very helpful staff.Back away from yo Netflix, put your phone down and let your soul speak volumes with some music yo!
J: Blonde haired associate was very helpful and friendly to walk me through the in store selection. Another taller associate unfortunately kept trying to talk over me and stood uncomfortably close. The store layout and product selection is great. Testing rooms with hand sanitizer and amp are perfect. Not a fan of the white office style lighting though.
Alfie Rodriguez: Amazing music instruments store , I got my fender telecaster here, fair prices
Lauren Martin McCraw: Amazing customer service and a spacious retail space. We can't wait to return.
Donald Mc Donald: Rufus Guitar and Drum Shop?Has to be the most honest retail music outlet in Greater Van. I have dealt with the two major locations that were available for new instrument's I found them both dishonest, selling damaged used equipment as new. When Rufus opened I found their honesty and the equipment they sold extremely reliable.
Lane Price: The best staff and service
Shane Crilly: Great people to see when your guitar needs work. They've rescued me more than once and never asked more than a reasonable fee.
Greg Hanberry: I bought a kit at their West End shop. The manager took the time to chat with me by phone to thank me and give me the back story behind the kit. Then he called a couple weeks later to tell me he found the matching snare...there are only 50 in the world.Jess, Aaron, Chris and others were exceptionally kind and helpful. They are obviously all very passionate about drumming.I love that they support several local snare and kit builders like Dunnet, Woods and Odyssey. Thanks yous guys, I'll be back!
Michael LS Mui: A jewel. A holderover of a time when people cared about service and quality
Al F.: Prices were well below the competitors.Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.I purchased a PRS guitar and amp with a few accessories.I have definitely found my go-to music store
Josh Dauer: Best music shop in Vancouver
Dimitri K: An important place for Vancouver drummers and beyond. Nothing but big love
Central City: Great selection of guitars drums and accessories. The guy who helped me out was knowledgeable.
Pradeep Goud Sharavaiah Gari: Poor service, I dint like the way sales person dealt with me though I bought a guitar 🙃
John Stamos: Best guitar shop in the city (Alma location is a close second). Super helpful staff, know exactly what they're talking about.Blaine and Craig kill it!
k: better than tom lee but worse than long and mcquade.
Herman Lam: Great service and the instructors are really good
John Pozer: We've bought some great instruments from Rufus Guitar and Drum Shop. Staff is friendly and helpful. Store is big and spacious. They carry good quality stuff. Lots of other goodies for bday prezzies, etc. Love this store! Dog-friendly!
SHO GI: I just came back from the store with my Yamaha FS3. This store has a very nice atmosphere. The guy who helped me was very kind with good vibe. We should cherish our local stores like this. Thank you, Rufus Commercial!

David Fowler: Very happy with my two latest guitars - purchased at the Terminal Ave Long and McQuade. It's a little out of my way, but always worth the trip! Thanks again to Chad, Wesley, and Caleb!
orangeravii •: This is my go to place now specifically if I need to buy acoustic guitar related products. Keep up the great work! 😎

Peter Towler: I always get great service at Long and McQuade locations, but today’s experience at the Terminal Ave location was exceptional. Kassian, thank you SO much for taking the time to help me today. My GS Mini Koa thanks you as well.
Dominik Csonka: If you're in need of rental items, this is the perfect spot to visit. Moj Noroozi: We are happy with our experience here, renting microphones and speakers for a reasonable price. They made sure all the cables and chargers are working properly. Staff are so nice and helpful.
S: I would not recommend getting your guitar tuned up here. I was billed $669.30 for repairs done without my consent.I was originally quoted around $150 for a small service suggestion, even though my initial reason for coming in was to simply buy new strings and have them put on for me.I found out later that Long & McQuade commissions a part-time technician (Jake) that took my instrument to their home to repair. This could also explain why it took so long to get my instrument back.I had 2 very unpleasant interactions with the repair technician over the phone. Jake was very rude and entitled on the phone. He suggested around $250 worth of repair, so I needed time to think about it. In the end, I called them to give them OK for a $250 repair, as I naively trusted they had reason to believe this was necessary.3 weeks later, I receive a bill that my guitar is ready for pick up, at $669.30!I called the manager right away, and he lowered the price back down to the original quote of $150. The repair description was very loosely described and printed on a small receipt, not even a real piece of paper. Very questionable billing.
Chanel Vautour: Good selection
