Lambert Co seems roughly the same cost per job as others we’ve tried. All were nice and good, but Mickael is ‘real’ , energetic, thorough and cleans up his job site carefully.. When he assessed and reassures, I feel I can relax. However, when something has a hi chance of needing follow up, he describes what to watch for and a proffers a general estimate, not sugar coated but real, to consider budgeting.Lambert was recommended to us by both an engineer, and an mba. Salish “Salishgal” Gal: My 40+ year old gas-fired furnace finally died. It was my biggest nightmare. My townhouse is built on a hill, and my furnace room is BELOW ground. It is 5-stories up to the roof. The first company that quoted did NOT discuss venting at all. The second company that quoted REFUSED to even TRY to go up through the roof. My property was one of the MOST DIFFICULT furnace installations EVER. The first thing Lambert said was, "we LIKE difficult installations". Initially they had to come in and determine if it was even possible to get the venting pipes up to the roof. This involved cutting holes in the walls on a couple of floors and crawling up into the attic. Of course, even my attic is extremely difficult and has several "levels". I was SO IMPRESSED with the entire team. They came in and worked extremely diligently. There were several people on the team who were excellent. The lead technician was absolutely determined to figure it out. I ended up going with a combi-boiler-heat exchange unit, which was the best option from a venting perspective. It was an extremely stressful experience from an installation perspective, and for me to decide which system to install. EVERYONE worked so HARD, from the installation team to the office. Plus, they genuinely CARED about the job. I cannot say enough good things about them and about how I felt reassured that I'd made the right decision. It was such a HUGE relief when it was done. I ended up having some concurrent plumbing issues, and the plumber was absolutely amazing as well. I would not hesitate to call this company, especially if you have a challenging installation. Dan Sit: I was having sump pump issues and smell was getting into the house. Mickael came by promptly and diagnosed the issue for me. The previous installer of the sump pump did not install the piping correct. He also noticed the current sump pump was aging and might stop working anytime. He was able to schedule me in for a replacement within 2 days and did a professional job installing the new piping and sump pump. He also did a super job cleaning up after. Yi Shen: I called inquiring a tankless water heater installation, a service that they claim to offer on their website. The person that picked up was very nice and helpful, and said that's something they should be able to do no problem but wanted to check with the customer services rep. The call was then transferred to this customer services rep and they immediately told me I need an electrician in a very condescending and rude way. I'm not knowledgable in this field, so I asked why, and they offered no explaination except for repeating the same exact sentence back to me. I was left feeling dumb and unpleasant.

ewa jakobs: Unfortunately, my experience with Uncle Bills Hillcrest plumbing was not very good one ! I booked the replacement of water heater by phone. It was quite urgent because I discover leak around water tank and I was leaving the next day. Winnie gave me a quote $ 999.95, which sound reasonable ( I did some research ) .She did not send me conformation of the quote by e mail, although I did provide mye mail address to her. The job was done quickly the same day, water tank was replaced by Alvaro. Afterthe replacement was completed Alvaro pointed out that the leak detected by me was still there. So it seems that replacement was not really necessary.You can only imagine my surprise when I was charged $ 1000.00 more then I thought my quote was. Winnie claimed that she give me a quote$ 1995.95 not $995.95 . I did not receive responseto my complain, the invoice and the paper work for this job was quite inadequate, no gas sticker was provided , date was not complete ect.The office should be better trained and provideall necessary information and quote PRIOR tosigning work order. This is the practise whichis most of the business are operating ! ! !The office was trying to convince me that the price for water tanks replacement is the best , but I foundexactly the same tank for much lower price in several places ! SynC C: your drivers are dangerous to other drivers' safety. Was driving towards Vancouver this morning @730am May 5/23 on Arthur Lang bridge. Your driver (young looking male bald headed/shaved head with glasses) in a REID BROTHERS company van was behind me & all of a sudden sped up & cut me off, almost clipping the right side of my vehicle. Its raining & slippery on the deck of the bridge. How irresponsible & obviously no regard for others safety. I would never call you for service.

The estimate was clear and detailed.The installation lasted 3 days, went exactly as planned and was fantastic. They communicated clearly and were easy to work with. The hot water came back on even sooner than promised. The installer answered all of my questions and shared a ton of useful information, and explained everything about the combination boiler / water heater.And the boiler room looks way better than before!I have the sense the the folks working on the house took pride in a job well done, and I appreciate that so much!I've used another major name in Vancouver for my old hot water heater, and it was not a good experience. The difference between them and Reid Brothers was night and day--what a huge improvement!Thank you Reid Brothers! Dorothy Chan: Called in for a simple heating system repair (we still use the old hot water heating) but the repairman was an hour late. Got super fed up with us and rather then showing us his credentials and fixing the problem, tried to upsell and new heating system to us. We got a second opinion and it only costed $250 plus tax. Shamim Brown: We found Reid Brothers to be professional, efficient, and very reliable. From the beginning of our three projects to the end, their team has been most thorough. I was contacted by Brian, their Project Manager, at the beginning of our projects. He stayed in touch and walked us through every step of the way from start to finish. He told us what to expect and when service would start and end. He also did follow-ups upon completion of the projects. Technicians, Richard and Sam came in to check on our gas furnace and hot water heater (the latter had a slow leak), and to check on our kitchen sink tap which needed replacement. They also connected our new fire pit to our existing gas line. Not only did they do a thorough job of all three, but they went the extra mile - while Richard worked on checking the furnace and hot water tank, Sam finished setting up the partially completed fire pit for us. Both were extremely professional, courteous and congenial. Technicians, Tom and Matt came in to install the tankless water heater which we opted to have put in. They too were extremely knowledgeable, professional, courteous, very thorough, and completed the project in a timely and efficient manner. TC: REID BROS. came to our home on many occasions. However, their negligence on the last visit caused major damages. Initially the owner at Reid told us that the co. would be accountable and we finally got paid by our insurance company months after the event but they only paid out 1/3 of the repair. When our insurance co. proceeded to recover damages from REID BROS., they denied they were even at our home as they never sent an invoice for the repairs and now our insurance co. is asking for the coverage to be repaid back to them in part.....UPDATE ....we the owners found video from RING that REID BROS were at our home and now they will have to pay for Damages ....but buyer beware regardless...!!!Service:Toilet repair

K McMartin: Living in Ontario, we mistakenly paid a plumbing bill electronically in February 2021 to Reid plumbing in Vancouver instead of in Ontario. These are two separate companies in different provinces that happen to have similar names. We contacted this company in Vancouver to explain our mistake and to ask for our money back. Reid Brothers in Vancouver said they would send our money back but we received nothing. Subsequently, our bank lodged an investigation in April 2021. Why did Reid Brothers in Vancouver accept and keep money that was mistakenly sent to them (and not owed to them)? In April, via telephone AND VOICEMAIL, Reid Brothers promised to return the money not owed them. Now, in mid May, still crickets.....
DeeDee Nelson: I want to thank Reid Brothers once again for being there when I have needed them. I have been calling them for five years, as everyone in our apartment building also does. They are always professional on the phone and in person. When I had my most recent plumbing issue they showed up quickly and efficiently, on time, and did a beautiful job. Very reasonable fees as well. This is wonderful customer service and care and I will definitely be calling the team the next time I need any plumbing or heating systems work done. jenny soares: I contacted Pro Ace with regards to my Furnace not working. 20 minutes later a Technician Arrived to diagnose the problem. Within 10 minutes Cam found problem with the Motherboard which had to replace.He then place an order for the Motherboard which took 5 days to arrive from Calgary. This in no way reflects poorly on Pro Ace.David who I assume is with Customer Service followed up on the Parts Order on a daily basis and kept me informed as to the progress. I was told the Motherboard arrived on Jan26th and within 2 hours Cam appeared at my house to replace the Motherboard. It took him only 20 minutes and everything is working now.I will not hesitate to recommend Pro Ace and its staff who were all friendly and helpful and assured me at all times they were on top of my problem and were doing all they could to resolve it ASAP Which seems to be what they did .
