Modern Niagara: what do users think?
0000 0000: Critical:Professionalism,Quality,Value
Derrick S: We've worked with Modern Niagara for many years, a lot of their techs are qualified and professional people, reasonably priced. But I'm getting so sick and tired of their poor customer service. Every time I have to call their Vancouver office and deal with Villy, it makes me reconsider my relationship with this company. She is so condescending and passive-aggressive, with a massive ego. Every time I call I quietly pray to myself that I she doesn't pick up the phone. Great company, just one glaring issue.
Nathan Pavan: Been working with them for about 3 years doing sheet metal. Have loved every minute working here.
CJ Marr: Unfortunately, they did not deliver on time but their customer service was beyond reproach.Manager Gregg Knapfl and serviceman David Till bent over backwards to make sure the HVAC unit was replaced and repaired. The unit was delayed but when it was installed it worked beautifully.
Mary Lu: Critical:Professionalism,Quality,Valueemployee comes without bringing any detective tools and equipment! very unprofessional! gave us a wrong conclusion which mislead us! their price is high and doesn't match the service they provided! very disappointed
Kelly Crawford: My organization has worked with Modern Niagara for a couple custom design jobs in 2020 and 2021, and we were incredibly impressed with the professionalism and innovative approach from the team, in addition to a top-quality final products. We highly recommend Modern Niagara and will continue to work with the team on projects going forward. Special shout out to Blair and Reilly - we are so appreciative of you both!
B: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,QualityVery pleased with the service we received. We’ve had multiple techs come out, - Russel, Braeden, Marcel.
another user: On Oct 1, 2020 at around 10:05 am on 4th near Burrard, driver of van # V20 was using his phone while driving. Phone held in right hand.
Greg Jeannotte: Seems like a great place to work, plenty of tools supplied to employees amd work for years to come. Standards are high don't show up expecting a free ride.

VCC - Downtown Campus: what do users think?
Jon Sheffield: The food from the culinary arts students is outstanding and reasonably priced. Apart from the limited timing this place rule for downtown food open to the public. The cafe sells butchered meats cheaper than any grocery store.
Ehsan Mahditabar: My best year was in VCC with excellent teaching and high learning level
HappyGirl1989: I had a bad experience here with the cooking school back in the year 2018. I was being very mistreated by a substitute chef here. I left in tears, never stepping foot here no matter what program they have to offer here. Stay away, I am warning you.
Munim Chowdhury: Went for a brief visit with my friend as he got admitted in an automotive program in VCC. The space is well utilized, and staff are friendly. Parking has to be done on the street.
kait patt: I was enrolled in doing online classes to upgrade some courses. I had so many problems, not being able to see my classes, not being able to get a concrete answer from anyone just kept getting transferred to someone else. They don't put any prices out for you to see and you will be half way through your course and they want you to complete "part 2" which means re paying. Other I know who have gone here say they were completely used just for their money. This school is all about the money.
Sandra Landaverde: VCC is in the downtown core easy access while there you can enjoy their services which it's run by highly qualified students instructors and personal in general study 📖 as well 😉
Stuart Furness: Keep an eye out, the new VCC bake shop will be opening soon.
Christopher Edwards: I had an academic advising appointment with Kseniia, she was very kind and able to answer all my questions and explain the options I have going forward. Very excited about continuing my education with VCC.
Jonathan Lumu: Best I wish for everyone
Fakhr Alrakwi: Great place to get affordable yet yummy meals made by future chefs 👨‍🍳 😋
Ki Rocky (Rocky): ALLERT: Think carefully before studying in this school, especially INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS once they had your money, they don’t care or really help you.WANT TO LEFT SCHOOL, yes you can go but NO REDUND in their dictionary.
R L: Apparently this school doesn’t work for everyone I was told by the instructor - just a select few - it’s not inclusive of all walks of life.8 students from the dental hygiene program failed the first semester. That’s 36.6% failure rate. Instructors do not know how to teach anatomy. When it came to learning anatomy they do not show students how to distinguish between teeth, anomalies or anything of the such. They don’t elaborate on the learning topics. Just verbatim of slides in class. They don’t have frequent testing to ensure information sticks. Also, come 4pm - good luck finding an instructor. They all disappear. As a person, it’s great! classes end at 4pm. but as a learning environment, it shouldn’t close so soon. Lazy people. And if they do see you struggling... instead of helping the student personally they pass the buck to learning services. Like learning services is a tutor in the DH program. They are not. They like to blame the student and lack of studying. Which isn’t the case. They need to teach better. Many students struggled with learning what the instructors want them to learn. They are not clear in what needs to be known. They might have been good decades ago but they sure are out of date now.
ThinkableEden YT: Nice
Stephen James: My advisor left the campus. My review was intended to highlight the efforts of this person in my educational endeavours. Thus, I am left to revise the review accordingly.
Sapan Sandhu: Good but expensive college, staff is very friendly. Premises and maintenance are worth watching.
Verna victoria Mclaughlin: I only stopped in but it was a clean and inviting campus
Simi M: VCC sets up students for success. The few instructors whose classes I taken have been genuine educators looking to support students achieve their goals.
Ben Wiese: Awesome Culinary Program.I learned a lot from VCC. Excellent experience living in Vancouver for sure. memories of taking the Skytrain, and met some really interesting people during my time living There off Joyce. Thanks Hamid. I still have our 2014 Grad Photo. I remember our classes well.Good time.
B: I believe Library is for student there study quietly right ? But I guess not , we were just trying to do out work in quite place but this lady and her probably beauty student came in talking super loud and distractingly in the middle of library. And her ugly laugh is so irritating to hear .
Amelia C: Horrible instructors. They don't teach you the course properly, and mark you extremely hard on any work. I've been to other colleges, and this one is by far the WORST. Too many people in the class, and can't be bothered to help or even explain how to do assignments properly.

BCIT School of Construction and the Environment: what do users think?
Mutsa Mambo: The service was considerate and knowledgeable, the lady at student enrollment left a big smile on my face. It is a beautiful campus, with friendly students, one of whom, is a Russian lady from the Environmental Engineering division, who gave me an insightful mini orientation. I hope I get in!
Mr Ait: Very nice place to get info around the world
Ellen Knife: This is an incredible place. So many possible classes and programs with up to date equipment and facilities. The staff are friendly. After graduating, the workforce welcomes grads as the school is long established for producing quality people.
David Penny: Love coming here. The instructors are great, the classes are flexible, and the support for students is amazing!
Simon Boisvert: I went to BCIT for a full time “architectural technician” program 3 years ago and it was a terrible experience. My instructor, Donald Yen, has absolutely no control on his class. This is how it works, he teaches during the morning until noon and then he leaves us working on our labs for the rest of the day, sometimes late at night (because we had 24-hour access). The first few months went well, but start to loose some control before Christmas. I mentioned the issues getting worst and worst to Donald but replying he had no control on the class after he leaves. After Christmas, I went to talk to the head of the program, twice and nothing had change. Here is what we are talking about: Alcohol drinking in class, late at night or usually late afternoon on Friday’s before a large group of student goes out at the pub (yes, drinking in class is much cheaper), Xbox competition on the big screen, computer gaming, loud music on sound system (even students and the head of the program next door came several times during the year to request to lower the music), “horse playing”, and the list goes on. By the end of the year, security had to intervene. The issue had been brought up all the way to the dean, Wayne Hand. The output of the meeting was without consequences, putting it on the fact it was 2 weeks before the end of the classes. Instead, I have been discriminatory removed from the class and asked to finish my assignment from home or another class. I also needed to consult a lawyer and had a legal advisor present at the meeting. Since BCIT has deeper pockets than me, I have been suggested to not proceed with legal actions, which may change has we speak.About the campus, it’s ok, but everything is outdated and old. The building I was (NE1) has serious ventilation issues, which I developed health problem since then. It’s call “sick building syndrome”, google it. It is also NOT earthquake proof and because of it cheap built of pre-cast concrete, would fall like dominos if an earthquake was to happen. BCIT actually gave a facelift to the building last year, focusing on the look rather than the safety and air quality. If you look it all the classroom, you will find out there is absolutely NO air movement in that building, even not a fan in the bathrooms.BCIT, overpriced and low quality service.

KAT DS: great company to work with!! excellent service, will definitely recommend!

whisper: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueMitchell provides excellent mechanical services, highly recommended.
D. Sal: I see another review about the driving of Company trucks ,last night Sunday Aug 16 9:20 pm.The driver of truck 257 I watched fly through traffic from about SFU on ramp to his exit at Deep Cove at speed well over 120 Ks weaving, aggressively, tail gating, cutting people off, it was suprising to see this behavior in a company vehicle .I figured it must be the owner because no responsible company would allow this behavior by a employee. The only way we got the plate number and truck number is he got stuck for a moment behind a Semi.Speed kills..
Nathan Louie: Critical:Professionalism
Jamie H: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueGreat team to work with. Attentive and hard working. We've done many infrastructure and wastewater projects with Ron and his team there's no doubt that their firm is well trusted in the industry.
W. Bradley Gooderham: On Thursday August 22nd at 3:00ish, a guy driving a Mitchell Installations truck (#256 on the back) cut all the way up the McGill exit ramp then aggressively tried to force his way back into the hwy #1 traffic. I kept driving forward because there wasn't space for him to enter and I wan't about to slam on the brakes in traffic with toddlers in the van. Then he gave ME the finger and mouthed something not worth repeating. Hey man, your company name is on the side of your truck! This is how you represent your company. Not a good image.
Laith Alasoo: Dean is the man! The guy is always helpful and works hard to source out my supply needs, and he always makes sure that my orders are billed out correctly.
