Consulate General of the United States: what do users think?
Roshan Kotian
Roshan Kotian: Had a wonderful experience. The staff is extremely helpful and professional. They will guide you at every step. It took about 45mins from checking in to the interview completion. Everyone is super nice and ready to help. The center is very well managed and adequately staffed. Thank you for your kindness!
Elizabeth Walker
Elizabeth Walker: I had a good experience expatriating. Security staff are very helpful and friendly, but they are thorough and you need to be aware of their restrictions on items you can and cannot take in. As mentioned, there are small lockers for phones. The security staff will take your phone and lock it up for you, and give you a tag to collect it. The lockers are small - the only thing they will fit is a phone. The consulate staff were efficient and friendly, too. Their office is a bit of a rabbit warren, and not super accessible for anyone with mobility issues..
Tasnia Rashid
Tasnia Rashid: I had an appointment for passport services in the afternoon. It wasn't busy at all and the guards were super helpful and friendly! I had The appointment originally a day prior but they called me and asked if they can change it to the next day because there was some event going on. It was pretty easy to get in and everyone was very helpful and friendly. It took me around a total of 15 minutes to get my services from the time of my appointment.
Sukhvir Brar
Sukhvir Brar: Overall experience was good. Try to book your appointment early in the morning. We went there an hour before our appointment and was done by the time of our appointment. They usually email you about your belongings what we can take inside but I always carry a small backpack as my purse so I thought they will allow it. But no I was wrong. So do not carry anything with you except your documents. Or leave them in your car. Luckily we park nearby so I quickly run to the parking lot to put my bag in our car. No phones, Apple Watches are allowed. And security guard was not helpful at all. When we were almost at door to go inside then they told me that you can’t take your bag inside. Why didn’t you guys tell me before when we were waiting in the line for 10-15 minutes.
Tri-City School of Music 2021 and beyond
Tri-City School of Music 2021 and beyond: how do you actually speak to someone? The phone number just lists a bunch of things that don't pertain to why I am calling and I don't want a visa (which seems to be the only way to get any information) so I am super confused why they even have a phone number????
Jill Star
Jill Star: Every person that I came across during my visit was friendly and helpful. I can't say enough about the help I received. The wait times were almost nil. Very efficient. Thank you
Jef Tek
Jef Tek: Fun place to go hang out for a little while. No hat 🎩, no belt, confiscated my Bic lighter, hmm 🤔I had handcuffs in my Blues Brothers Bag, not a problem 😎Couldn’t find the parking pay 💰 kiosk across the street so I parked for free In and Out of downtown like a thief 😆
Gordon Schneemann
Gordon Schneemann: The American Consulate in Vancouver, BC offers excellent customer service from its friendly staff. Never mind the random security guard, who confuses personal insecurity with building security. Hats off to the rest of the security staff! All in all, the consular experience is top-notch.
Jennifer Nguyen
Jennifer Nguyen: Very quick and professional. High security but they are very friendly too. The interview itself was quick and took me about 5 mins, the whole process was 1.5 hours (waiting for documents check and photo scans, finger print). My interviewer is a nice professional lady. The questions are:A: When did you come to Canada?B: 2019A: Which school you go to?B:A: Who paid for your tuition?B: My familyA: What’s your family job?B:A: Where are you planning to visit?B: Las VegasA: Do you have family in the US?B: NoA: Do you have family in Canada?B:A: I approved your visa. You can get your passport back next week.B: Thank you.My interview was April 4 and got my passport back on April 6. Very quick and efficient. Highly recommend this location!
poonam bhaliyan
poonam bhaliyan: The whole experience of visa interview is nerve racking until you meet the Visa Officer. Super cool! This was my first time giving visa interview and was very nervous as there were many screening involved but everyone was helpful at the office. So here are some tips from my experience1. Don’t bring bags or purses there as they have small lockers which can be used to only fitYour phones, smart watch and other small prohibited items2. Even if you have selected other location in your DS-160 form(let’s say you are interviewing in abc location but the location in DS-160 is xyz ), that’s all right. They’ll take just some time to transfer your case and then you’ll be good to go.3. Arrive to the location 30min prior to the interview as there will be a lineup4. Don’t bring any food items with you5. If you have a bag with you which is not allowed, you can keep it at nearby lockers location6. Just keep smiling, you’ll get through it
Manu Goyal
Manu Goyal: Location is very convenient by public transit. Staff were very friendly. Especially the officer was very polite she didn’t make it look like a scary interview. She was talking and laughing and approved it in less than 2 minutes.I’ve also been to US consulate in Toronto. Their staff were as usual they’re supposed to be in any embassy.Don’t bring any bags or purses. They’ve very small lockers in which they’ll only put your smart watch, AirPods, phones. It’s better for you if you don’t bring any of them.
Giant Zygote
Giant Zygote: Staff is very friendly. They have a locker for phones and smartphones but they don't allow anything else inside. Don't take a bag. They first check your documents and photo and then send you to the 20th floor for the interview. The whole process was very smooth and streamlined. I had a good experience.
kudzai gara
kudzai gara: Good experience, extensive security process so just follow the instructions and leave your purse at home. They do take your phone and store it in a locker. The overall process was good and the service was amazing.
Neri Matrixx
Neri Matrixx: Mailed in my documents at Canada Post on Feb 15 2023, got back my passport with renewed US Visa on Feb 28, 2023.
J P
J P: Made an appointment online to renew my passport. In and out in 15 minutes. Very friendly staff and easy process if you have all your paperwork in order. Thank you ...
Bisrat Yosief
Bisrat Yosief: I had avery very bad experience with the interviewer she was so rude and disrespectful looks like she is so biased of our color. The security was so polite and cooperative .I felt so humiliated.
Joe Li
Joe Li: I've been to a few US consulates all over the place and this one by far has the most efficient and friendliest staff. Highly recommend.
Rohan singla
Rohan singla: Very easy and straightforward process . Please don't come early as they allow only 15 min in advance. They have a locker for mobile phones . Do not bring any bags here.
Rohit Bhatia
Rohit Bhatia: I wish zero or negative starts is an option I could have select that Some Visa Officers don't even use common sense.
Simran Kaur
Simran Kaur: They canceled all the appointments on 23 dec without any prior notice and haven’t informed anything. We all went there in poor weather conditions. I wanna give a zero rating but there is no option for that. They don’t value our time and lives I think I am trying to call them from 23 dec but that doesn’t even work.
Silent Hill
Silent Hill: Today I had my interview and I had applied for a visit visa in 2021. So it was over a year since I had applied and scheduled today's interview. I am a Canadian PR and work in Vancouver. I reached there by Skytrain. It is a 5 minute walk to the line outside the consulate. I joined the queue outside 10 minutes before the appointment with just one person ahead of me. I had energy bars which were confiscated as they are not allowed. There are a total of 3 security checks and the process takes place on 3 floors, including street-level floor. The whole process took 45 minutes and I was constantly standing and walking, except for last 5 minutes before the interview. There is no public bathroom nearby nor I saw one inside the consulate. The security was least aggressive today compared to my previous experiences.Following were the questions:VO: Pass your passport, pass me PR card, pass me everything.Me: Passed the passport and PR card.VO: How long have you been in Canada?Me: 2 yearsVO: Where do you work?Me: Large government-funded organizationVO: What do you do there?Me: Computer programming.VO: Do you have any relatives in Canada?Me: No, just me.VO: Do you have any relates in USA?Me: Yes, x brothers and x sisters.VO: Are you going to meet them on your trip to California?Me: No, I'm going to meet another relative, who lives there.VO: Is another relative an adult?Me: YesVO: When will you go to the US?Me: May be in 2 or 3 months.VO: I have approved your visa, it will be ready in a week.Me: Thanks. My phone was kept in locker at the first security check point, so I collected that exactly from the place where it was deposited. If someone knows of a bathroom nearby, please post about it in your review.

Singapore Consulate General: what do users think?
Echo Zheng
Echo Zheng: Aya is so friendly, helpful and responsive. She was helping the people just like your friend. It amazed me a lot when seeing her emails coming in at almost 8pm or super early in the morning. She was so patient and explained lots of details when I was asking silly questions. Sincerely appreciate her kind help and support during the whole process.
Anwaya Pimpale
Anwaya Pimpale: To say that I am super impressed would be an understatement. Right from the first email till the day of my appointment, the response rate was fantastic. Aya is beyond amazing at what she does and deserves recognition for the same. She had made sure that she had all of my documents even before I got there and the application process for the visitor visa literally took 2 minutes. I never knew government offices could be THIS efficient. Way to go Singapore! This makes me even more excited for my upcoming trip to SG! Thank you Aya
Taseen
Taseen: Great service, never dealt with any consulates so efficient before.
Rikako Watanabe
Rikako Watanabe: I had a great experience at this consulate general of Singapore. The woman who helped me with my document was incredibly kind and helpful! And the amazing chief welcomed me warmly and had a pleasure time to talk with him. For anyone wanting to go here, try not to only read the negative reviews. Spending there was more than my errands ☺️✨
Sarah Smith
Sarah Smith: Responsive to my emails and available for my appointment on-time! Looks like things have improved with someone in the office more regularly. Customer service had improved a lot in my opinion since the last time I applied for a visa.
zek keh
zek keh: Seems uninterested in providing consular advice to Singaporeans living in Canada
Adrian&Inn Liew
Adrian&Inn Liew: Absolutely impressed with the way they work! Efficient and responsive! If you had worked with other consulates before, you know Singapore Consulate General in Vancouver is above the rest. Bravo and keep up the good name!
Alison L
Alison L: Came here to take my oath after turning 21 and submit a request for passport renewal. The entire process was incredibly smooth, efficient and professional. I received prompt email responses with clear explanations when I wrote to them with multiple questions, so I found the consulate assistant very patient and helpful.
chandrang makwana
chandrang makwana: Quick and prescise responses. The lady who manages the office was helpful and gave very clear instructions. Appointment was taken duly, I was in and out in 5 minutes for a visitor visa. Thanks for your help.
Poh-Lin Koh
Poh-Lin Koh: The embassy should manage its staff better. Answering machine mentioned to leave a message for a return call from the embassy. Left 4 messages, but no one returned the calls. What a terrible image this embassy presents and should not be representing Singapore.
patata bravas
patata bravas: The consulate does not accept walk-in appointments. Please see the attached photo when making an appointment!
Ameni
Ameni: I wish I could give a 0 not 1 star! Very horrible service. I advice you to apply or contact the NYC or Toronto offices, much better service, response time and follow-up!
Michael Rayala
Michael Rayala: I have sent a request for an appointment since Friday, sent another follow up email on Monday, and I have just sent another today (Tuesday). And even left a voicemail on the answering machine to further follow up my booking appointment. I am frustrated because I have already requested an off day and still I have not even book my plane tickets. I am on a tight budget as a new comer in Canada. Based on the reviews that I have read, it appears that I am facing the same situation. Terrible and disappointing!
Joel Sia
Joel Sia: No one answer the phone when i called multiple times. This is not working! How are we going to collect our passport if no one answers it? I even left a voice message but no one calls me back. Please fix this asap.
Joseph Augustine
Joseph Augustine: Need to collect my daughter's passport so call and it went to voicemail. A sweet lady returned my call 15-30 mins later and I fixed an appointment within the same week. To me appointment is good, structural and professional... the same good old days when people needs to have appointment even to open a Bank account.
upraj singh
upraj singh: Try making appointment before going to the office.
Dilip Gidwani
Dilip Gidwani: No one answers the phone. My wife wanted to collect her new passport and was trying to call since 9.00 am. Numrrous messages left on machine. No one called back. No notification was sent to collect tge pasdport from the overseas mission. Mobile number and email address was provided. Very poor service.
masih hanif
masih hanif: Terrible in answering email or phone. Zero Customer service. Wasted a lot of time going there for Singapore Visa and eventually, they did not issue my visa on time.

Aicko Yves Schumann
Aicko Yves Schumann: I received fantastic service by the German Consulate General in Vancouver related to the legalization of a few Albertan Vital Statistics documents. It was effortless to call the consulate beforehand to discuss the procedure and to arrange for shipping my documents back to my address in the United States instead of the usual 'within Canada' or 'to Germany' procedure. The consulate staff was very friendly and also called me back in the United States once all documents arrived from the Provincial Deputy Secretary's Office in Edmonton. Today, I received the legalized documents here in the United States. More documents are on their way, but I think the second batch will be handled and arrive equally flawlessly. The only odd thing is that Alberta likely opted for destroying the large but old birth certificate from the 80ies and sent back an "extremely tiny" modern document; honestly it is smaller than a pocket-size notebook. I can already hear the German officials in Germany say "Was'n das für'n Wisch". I would have preferred getting back the original documents I relinquished and sent to Canada in the first place, as well.
Lukas Timmers
Lukas Timmers: Vielen Dank für die schnelle und ausführliche Hilfe!
Karthegaginiy Parmeswaran
Karthegaginiy Parmeswaran: Had to book an appointment and I was provided with efficient service and respect.
Eduard Eichholz
Eduard Eichholz: Terrible service. I have been waiting for my passport for over two years. Once they said the passport were on it's way, after two weeks of waiting I didn’t receive it. Called again, the answer is one document is missing, we have submitted this document several times already.
MarK Weber
MarK Weber: German efficiency at its best and servicewith a smile . Always helpful and accurate information.

Authentication Legalization Services Canada
Authentication Legalization Services Canada: Our Clients often require the Legalization of their documents to be done at the German Consulate in Vancouver. Over the years they have been consistently efficient and friendly throughout the entire process.Thank you for all of the help,The Authentication Legalization Services Canada Team.
Sebastian Castillo
Sebastian Castillo: 3 absences of stars for 3 issues I had.1) No matter what, you are required to make an appointment with them ahead of time. I rushed over there for their first one of the day, at 9:00am sharp. You'd think Germans, of all people, would honor that, but unfortunately, I had to wait for about 20 minutes for someone else to submit their application, until I was called up!2) If you plan to get your stuff mailed to your home, make sure you bring a proper envelope, otherwise they'll send you downstairs to pay $15 for one...3) I came overprepared - I had more than enough documents than required. At the time, everything checked out, I paid my fee, and I was on my way. Guess what? About two weeks later, I get told that since my parents had 'different surnames', I have to gather up a bunch of other documents and make a name declaration in order to continue the application process. Not impressed. Should have been told this on the spot.
Melanie Magritz
Melanie Magritz: What an amazing experience. Needed a temporary passport in order to travel to India for work. Send an email about an urgent appointment and received a call back within 1 hour. Managed to get a temporary passport the very next day. Kind and helpful staff!Vielen Dank Frau Schubber für die schnelle Hilfe!

Sy Y.: Well, the security guy please call “Sir” instead “hello, hello, hello” to us. First of all, you didn’t tell us what we need to do and there was no one in front of window, how could we know we need to wait there instead wait in waiting room?
Tobi
Tobi: I just payed for express delivery for my new passport which used to last about two weeks.Because of unexplainable reasons it has not arrived yet. My money for the special delivery service is gone and i have to wait two more weeks. Thx for this special !

Marivic Garcia
Marivic Garcia: Excellent
Marie Lembesis
Marie Lembesis: Horrible, rude service. Completely disorganized and unhelpful.
Constantinos Blachuras
Constantinos Blachuras: It's a very far journey for me to get there but when i do it always feels like home. The women are always super helpful and get the tedious government work taken care of. They have helped me and my family become Greek citizens. We couldn't be more proud.
Emmanuelle Stathopoulos
Emmanuelle Stathopoulos: In general the customer service is poor with a few exceptions. and depending on the person who serves you. They do not accommodate the elderly or the disabled in any way. Where other Greek Consulates in Canada would send a representative to get to a disabled person’s residence, the Vancouver one does not.Practically that means tremendous problems for the person trying to get documents done. They are very disorganized and still function very ineffectively. Most documents could be easily done online and with the use of software programs where you can sign a document securely online. They refuse to do that. They expect you to have the money or the physical ability to travel from a different Province to get a document done! They don’t care if the person is 88 years old, living alone or with little income. They expect that person to be able to afford to take a plane to travel to Vancouver to get a document!!!They do not even help that elderly person get all the insane things they demand, like specific passport photograph requirements that only a specific photographer close to the Consulate can get right! They don’t care if that elderly person gets lost in an unknown city, gets frightened or confused, trying to navigate their insane bureaucracy! They don’t give a darn!In other words, they still function in the Middle Ages, don’t give a darn, are rude and unhelpful.
Natasha Schneider
Natasha Schneider: While my usual experience at foreign embassies/ consulates is mostly subpar, the consulate of Greece is an exception! Vasiliki, the woman who interviewed me, was very helpful, patient, and accommodating!
Hollie coumont
Hollie coumont: Very rude on the phone, not helpful what so ever, I’m do to get married and it is a stressful time, they did not help my process.

Stefanie Kennell: If you're Greek, or have anything official to do in connection with Greece, the Consulate is indispensable.
Maral Gholami
Maral Gholami: I had a great experience with the consulate. I went there for a tourist visa. They went above and beyond to accommodate my situation. The officer Anna Karamaroudis was very understanding and professional towards my application. She also mentioned when I should expect to get my visa Everyone I met at the consulate was treated with utmost respect. I am eagerly looking forward to my trip!
eva M17
eva M17: We had the best experience with Consulate General of Greece and all thanks to Mrs Anna Karamaroudis! I have no words to describe how helpful she was every step of the way!!! Thank you, Mrs Karamaroudis! We are beyond grateful!
jeff Stathopulos
jeff Stathopulos: I've been working with Anna Karamaroudis this past 6 months on acquiring Greek Citizenship. She has been nothing but spectacular! Our situation was a little complicated as it required us to first register my father's family tree, and from there, register my own and begin the process of acquiring citizenship. My Dad and I went down to the consulate from Kelowna to complete his paperwork and Anna was a rockstar. We were there for an hour and a half, my Dad was comfortable (he's 92), charmed and extremely impressed with Anna's ability to process our documents, answer questions non-stop with co-workers at the consulate and all the while maintain an entertaining conversation with us both.Against all odds she was able to complete my father's registration in just two months. Without her experience, Greek contacts, long hours and willingness to keep trying we would still be waiting. I went back down a few weeks ago to complete my end of the paperwork now that my Dad's is done, and it was exactly the same amazing experience. Next step will be a passport once the wheels of government complete their slow, methodical turns (hopefully 8-10 months). She will be leaving soon for a new posting in Greece and it was her objective to complete all the files she had started before she left. I am ever grateful that I was one of those files!Σας ευχαριστώ πολύ, καλό ταξίδι
Tracey Heppner
Tracey Heppner: Today my husband and I went into the Greek consulate to make an appointment for a national visa.We were surprised to see that Ms. Anna Karamaroudis was alone there, answering phones, assisting clients, and doing interviews. And all while being absolutely delightful to chat with. She was so lovely! She was extremely helpful to us and we feel assured that our time with her was the next step we need to get our national visa.Thank you, Anna, for such a wonderful experience today!
Michael Oron
Michael Oron: I would like to extend my gratitude towards Anna Karamaroudis from the Consulate General of Greece - Vancouver.I walked into the Consulate in Vancouver to book an urgent appointment for a travel visa to Greece. She was working alone in the office whilst her staff were on holiday. She was fully booked until September with visa appointments and had mentioned that if I came back later that day with all my documents then she would do whatever she could to help me with the visa application.I came back with all my documents and she assisted me. We talked about South Africa as I am South African and she lived there for years working for the Greek Consulate. It was such a surprise to see her working alone doing everything from answering the phone calls, answering the door to conducting the interviews for the visa applicants.Anna’s work ethic is admirable. She’s helpful, professional, friendly and has excellent customer service.Thank you again Anna for your top notch service.Sincerely,Michael
niloofar Bahar
niloofar Bahar: Hanna is so hardworking woman and helps everyone who needs help regarding visa and immigration. She runs everything and she is so fast when I've seen her on the day of booking appointment and on the interview session.
Can Atalay
Can Atalay: Anna thanks for your help you were very helpful!I will have fun in Greek islands ...
Jim Vellios
Jim Vellios: Had to come here to get citizenship for myself and my kids. Anna and the staff were wonderful to deal with especially since I didn't speak Greek. She made every effort to ensure I understood everything. After reading some other reviews all I can say is that you have to understand that things take time and you are not the only person they are dealing with and if they happen to be rude to you is probably because you went in with an attitude to begin with. You get what you give.Thank you very much Anna. See you soon for passports.

Kyal Scott
Kyal Scott: I arrived late without an appointment yet was still helped by Daniel. He was assuring and got my application in asap. Thanks again for all your help mate, very grateful!
Lynne S
Lynne S: Hard to find, no signage. They can’t witness your signature & I had left that as I travelled far for this appointment. I wanted to be sure there were no errors. I was told to get security or the bank to witness it. What a nightmare, waited 30 min at the bank to be told ‘No’, security had said ‘No’ too. Long story shorter, just when I thought I couldn’t dislike Vancouver more…
Shadrack N. John
Shadrack N. John: Very good experience. The gentleman who helped me was really proffesional and very kind at the same time. He actually made my day with his kind hearted personality.
Macklin Guy
Macklin Guy: Very friendly staff. It was a great experience - our appointment was quick and professionally handled.
R Sievers
R Sievers: I had to renew 4 of my children's passports. I had driven from out of town to Vancouver for the appointment and there was a slight error (my printer had chopped off the bottom of one of the pdf forms that needed a guarantor signature) Daniel was so helpful and we worked through it and I was still able to complete the appointment and get the renewals submitted. I received a phone call when the passports arrived at the Vancouver consulate to confirm that I still wanted them posted to the address I had provided. Couldn't be happier with the process and service. Thank you Daniel and the Australian Consulate Vancouver.

walter derksen: So fun!!!! Best consulate in Canada
Catherine Mckay
Catherine Mckay: The staff were great. Super efficient. The young Australian guy there spent a lot of time ensuring I was extremely well informed.
Heidi Furrer
Heidi Furrer: I tried to contact the consulate. I only got an answering machine but was unable to speak to a person with my concern.I called the number indicated on the website but got 'unavailable' on many calls.I left my question under 'Question and Answer' and did not get any answer.Very frustrated about the lack of service.
Thushara Jay
Thushara Jay: Very happy with the service. Passport renewal application process took only 5 minutes. Appointment needed and don’t be too early or too late. The prices are as of 16th August 2021 in the photos.
Brianna Boyd
Brianna Boyd: Super helpful and friendly staff.
Alex Skrepnik
Alex Skrepnik: Fast and courteous
Ben Murphy
Ben Murphy: Had to leave a number for a callback which was not ideal (would prefer to speak with someone immediately), but got a call back quite promptly and it was very helpful advice. The consulate officer was happy to talk through our situation and I didn't feel like an inconvenience or that I was being rushed off the phone like can be the case with these types of things.
The Flying Tool
The Flying Tool: Contact times are wrong and all the 24 hour contact numbers are down or just non operational... trying to get home and cannot contact anyone. 🤦‍♂️
Marlane Nygaard
Marlane Nygaard: I am a dual citizen Australian/Canadian I am 82 yrs old and I live in Calgary. two of my children called this office today, and was told that I have to fly in an epidemic to Vancouver to renew my Australian passport. I have a compromised immune system and lung issues, but I am in full mind and body, One person told my son,( that it is my choice for living in another country.) not only is there nothing in place to assist in a situation such as mine, but this person kept saying I can let it expire and 6 months later come in , what does that do for me when I have held a passport for almost 50yrs, I do not want an expired passport, my family live in Australia as well as here, I feel safe having both passports at all time available for me to travel. I thought The Australian Consulate was there to assist its people, Australia is one of the best countries in the world for looking after its Senior Citizens and in general its people as a whole, and the consulate certainly is not offering that. I have posted my passport renewals every 5 yrs with no problems, and I am sure there must be a way to assist in this matter as well, I do not want to be a candidate for the Virus and how about the cost in total it would be around $800 with airfare and where do I stay, etc and passport fees, any help there. Beware if you are applying for a renewal and very rude people to assist you.

Consulate General of the Philippines: what do users think?
Nick Batsuren
Nick Batsuren: The employees were helpful and were nice enough to wait and let us get things we were missing (approved envelope and CAD) from the downstairs little store. Dont listen to what the website tells you about making sure to being approved envelope for shipping and bringing a passport photo. The little shop at the lobby of the building sells you the shipping label and the approved envelope otherwise the place wont accept what you bring. They also take the passport picture themselves and wouldnt accept the ones we brought. The website needs to update these information because we wasted money on those things and didnt even get to use them.
Riza AA
Riza AA: April 04 2023 Processing of documents. So far so good.I will update.---My experience today was awesome! One of the staff (Erlinda) helped me out greatly with the processing of my son's birth registration. It's best to have an appointment in advance of course.Upon arrival, do a temperature check.Key-in your name and last name/ or reference number at the machine by the door which will give you a printed number so you'll know which window to go to.After you get the number, scan it to get a health declaration form then you can wait for your turn.Screens near the waiting area will tell you which window to go to.Make sure to bring CASH. They don't accept anything else (at least that day). They are great with emails too. All my concerns were addressed before I went via email.
keith johnson
keith johnson: We renewed daughter's passport here. Enter, get queue number proceed when called. Took about 1 and half hours before we completed the process.
Evangelina Obusan
Evangelina Obusan: Very fast service...nice employees
Mitchie Lopez
Mitchie Lopez: I called POLO Vancouver yesterday (March 8, 2023) to inquire, luckily, I spoke with Niel and he was very accommodating and patient to explain to me what can I do. He answered all my inquiries and provided information very professional. I know that all of the employees in our Consulate are doing their best to help and you guys always got the bad impression of being MASUNGIT but some of our Kababayan don’t understand that you are only following the rules.Just wanted to commend the team of Philippine Consulate in Vancouver specially the POLO team for the GREAT SERVICE WITH VERY WARM PEOPLE! Thanks.
Jennylyn Dela Rosa
Jennylyn Dela Rosa: I had a great experience. I’m done everything that I needed.
Drea S
Drea S: Awful awful awful experience. I was dreading this day but even more so when I came. The lady behind the counter was raising her voice at me and extremely classless. My personal information about being adopted is explained to the best of my knowledge and I’ve let her know that. Though, the 50 other people didn’t need to know about my personal life.Teach these people some people skills and communication because clearly there isn’t one between the client and the staff.
Grace de Luna
Grace de Luna: I went there for dual citizen, done everything smoothly, special mention Mam Tina, very helpful patient.
mjean amaze
mjean amaze: Done everything smoothly, very helpful staff and patient.
Debbie Arkoncel
Debbie Arkoncel: No respect for people’s time. The usual red tape of waiting for the window to open when they tell you you can arrive anytime after 11am, only to find the window is closed and people behind the windows just keep going about their thing without even looking at the people waiting to be served !!!
Michelle E
Michelle E: The staff are not friendly and are kind of nasty when they explain things. The service there was very disorganized. Their printer to get a waiting number was not working and the staff kept telling us to press a specific button, but the printer was still not working. People visiting on that day also experienced the same thing and they also complained that the printer was broken. Terrible.
Joyce Laxa
Joyce Laxa: Great service with very warm people. 🙌Went there today, 10-Nov-2022. Thank you window 4 lady! You are so kind po ❤️
Heide Balane
Heide Balane: Need a lot of improvement. Better customer service, communicate better and organization. Thier website forms are not updated, thus time wasted when we got there. Staff treat kababayans as if they are stupid and are very condescending
Annaliza Nuevo
Annaliza Nuevo: Not bad?
mimi hernz
mimi hernz: One of the employee (woman) in the window before payment window was not good as in (GRUMPY) maldita. You shouldn’t be working in Philippine consulate. CLEAR INFORMATION lang naman need ko pero mukha mo hindi maipinta.
M T
M T: It was pretty quick, however they weren’t polite or nice at all. I was struggling myself for filling up the forms because I was quite uncertain with all the requirements and it was my first time renewing my passport without any guardians to guide me. I just hope they could change their attitude or quit their job especially if they’re not happy where they’re at.
RISE ABOVE
RISE ABOVE: One of the employee at the window STRICTLY told and warned me to wear a mask inside the facility in order to comply with their mandatory WEAR MASK Policy, but you'll notice that the Consulate employees are not wearing their mask!! Consul General Neil Frank Ferrer ! matagal na po na-lift ang pag-sout ng MASK dito sa BC except for hospital and clinics. Do not impose rules over us that do not exist! Province-wide Wearing masks in public indoor settings is not required by public health. Wearing a mask is a personal choice. (Reply to your reply below: Corect sir, but still its a personal choice, Second, don't impose rules on us if your team is violating them firsthand!! linisin nyo muna bakuran nyo! I dont want to post photos here , ayaw kong mapahiya ang mga emplyado nyo dyan)
Roland Ravina (RRJR)
Roland Ravina (RRJR): They don't accept visa. It's the pandemic and it's 2020 and they don't have cashless transactions.Edit: It's 2022 and their instructions are unclear.
Angely “macky” DC
Angely “macky” DC: its fine! 🙂
