Yuri Ohashi: Everything is delicious and priced fairly in this crazy hyperinflation economy. The staff makes you feel welcomed and go above and beyond in friendliness. Better than a lot of the South American food Ive had closer down south.It has become a personal favourite and the meals here never fail to put a smile on my face. So good that we went two days in a row!

Renee Little: This restaurant was recommended by one of our favorite grocery stores so we popped in to check out. 🤯💖Smelled so good forgot to take photos. Today we tried papusas, the creamy chicken potato corn soup, and lovely beef on soft tortilla taco thing(name is escaping me at the moment🤣) great hot sauce, not hot if you're a hot fan but incredible flavor. Oooooooh and the Peruvian juice is a must try. We can't wait to go back and try more. Still riding the happy food high

Desmonday Ross: The food is too overpriced for simplicity and small portions. My spanish bf makes the same food from what we have in our fridge. I ordered the pork belly it came with 5 thinly slices of sweet potatoe and 5 slices of red onion and 7 pork bellies :( My elderly father had a chicken soup which was small for $15 !! I ordered one dish to go it was chicken and rice which looked like fried rice with frozen veggies and i was charged $26 for this dish!! Pls change prices for the foods because this isnt it.. La Casita has the best foods and better portions for your dollar.....Also the younger ladies were quite rude...

Fabbiola Romero: La verdad sabía que no iba a ser como la comida hecha en Perú, pero no pensé que sería totalmente diferente (en el sabor). Lomo saltado, ceviche, arroz chaufa son cualquier cosa menos lo que conocemos en Perú, el ceviche es simplemente incomible, no lo pude comer. Solo los anticuchos sabían a Perú, x lo demás no lo recomiendo, no es comida peruana, tiene los nombres pero deja muy mal a la comida peruana.

Cass Cass: Love Peruvian food. Back in December went there with about 7 people. And it was a disaster. I’ll cut it short tho. Instead of in all the details. Pretty much I ordered a few empanadas. And ONE of the empanadas I received was extremely mouldy and green. I didn’t know because it was at the bottom of the empanada. I literally took a bite and without even looking at it. I tasted the mould and had to spit it outI was mortified! I complained but it was strange the way they(waitresses) were reacting to me complaining. Like I was kind of in fault. Made me feel weird. I told them i didn’t want any empanadas anymore. But they literally told me if I didn’t accept them that they would be charged for them. Like I should feel bad that I didn’t want them. I don’t know it was very uncomfortable for me. And I was super confused. But anyways at the end of it all we asked to speak to owner or manager. Not sure what his name was but said it was one of the waitresses fault for the mouldy empanada getting to our table and he would take all the empanadas off our bill.Really strange uncomfortable night and felt like they just wanted us out of their after all of this happened. Wish I took a picture of the empanada cause it was sooooo bad how massive the mould spot was. I was just shocked and grossed out.

Camila Albornoz: Hoy pasamos, iba con la idea de probar la comida peruana y me lo habían recomendado muchísimo, fui primero a pedir el baño, porque iba con mi perrita que debía pasear antes y luego pasaríamos a almorzar, pero necesitaba un baño, a lo que las personas que nos recepcionaron me dijeron que no, aun diciéndoles que luego pasaría a comer, me dijeron que no, a lo que decidimos quedarnos mientras uno pedía el otro iba a dejar a mi perrita, luego de esto ordenamos, no nos ofrecieron agua, algo basico, pedimos empanadas, chicas y frías, el ceviche estaba muy rico pero para el precio era una porción extremadamente pequeño, no alcanza a ser una porción, además de muy picante sin antes avisar, mi amigo quedó sin comer casi nada de su ceviche ya que no sabía. 😔 Malisima experiencia! No vayan.

Diana Gopp: I enjoyed a birthday celebration here before going to a concert at the Rickshaw. The service was top notch. When the server presented the food she explained what the dish was and how it was made. The had great recommendations and the timing was perfect. The food was very fresh tasting and cooked to perfection. I would not hesitate to recommend this place. Of course the area is a bit dodgy but inside you feel safe, privileged and well looked after.

Shazia Nanjijuma: We choose Cuchillo to celebrate my sister's 40th birthday and our experience was outstanding. The music, vibe, the long table setting, and the food menu they put together for our group was phenomenal. Every guest was delighted and thoroughly enjoyed their time. The cherry on top was our waiter Jamal, who was good vibes from the beginning and made every guest feel at home, and made my sister feel like a true birthday queen. I would reccommend this restaurant for an event or special date night any day of the week.

brian: waited a long time for someone to take my order. it seemed it was more important for the staff to come together as a team to have an evening shot of tequila or whatever they were drinking to keep the team together before serving customers. it was quite upsetting because i waited at least 15 minutes after i was seated before anyone came back to check if i wanted to order anything.if it's expected that a single diner is not worth serving for a diminished gratuity they passed on me who worked in restaurants that loves to tip big on good service.assume nothing.the food was the only saving grace. mahi mahi ceviche and tajin chicken wings with chipotle crema.overall a nice meal that could be improved by better service.say hi to liz for me. she either was avoiding me or didn't recognize me. it's been over 12 years since wazubeez so it's understandable.

We ended up ordering the Huevos Rancheros. However, the ceviche is a tad oversalted and the cod taco doesn't stand out too much. BEARBOXCG: The tortilla soup is not as one would expect, the tacos are good but they need that Mexican touch that one would expect, prices are a bit hight of the food that you get, but I feel like they need to get more details to get that mexucan feel like we do on Monterrey when we make tacos. From then on everything is fine, the attention and staff are fine.

J F: I so much wanted to love this place as I am a big lover of meat pies. I ordered the beef pie and the filling was a sour mash of what tastes like tomato paste and mashed veg. Crust is good but the fillings don't seem fresh and seem hurried and one dimensional.

How sad is that ?When I asked why it is undercooked they said, " oh no we just microwave it when you ask for it to be heated". I WOULD NOT HAVE ASKED IT TO BE HEATED IF I KNEW YOU WERE GOING TO MICROWAVE MY EMPANADA and destroy it.Boggles my mind how people think - or don't.This place is No BUENO .

At one point I was waiting for a biscuit for over 20 minutes (after asking two different people,) and when I finally asked someone again, I saw that the biscuits were just sitting in a heated basket right behind us.No one apologized, not even once! In fact, after the biscuit incident, I think our server purposely avoided making eye contact.It was pretty odd.Don't recommend.
