Dressew Supply: what do users think?
Kate Armstrong: My order for 3m of printed linen (gorgeous) was submitted online and arrived quickly. The order is perfect and exactly matches the colours on their website thumbnail. As a bonus, Dressew included an extra .4m of cloth with my order, complete with a happy face note on my invoice saying my purchase was the end of the roll! I loved your shop when I was living in Vancouver, and I feel stoked to know that I can order online without hesitation. Thank you, Dressew!
Carmem Lima: Um lugar onde você pode comprar tudo para artesanato, tecidos de malha e algodão, fantasias, muito bom e baratissimo
Nurgul Zhumabekova: Budget friendly fabric store. My favorite place to buy fabrics and knitting supplies. I have been buying from here for the past 5 years. Always satisfied! The place have everything for everyone. You can find everything from the buttons to Halloween costumes.
Stacey Keating: If you know you know!!!
dafne alehandra: Great variety of products but very expensive
Sara Martin: Lots of options was varry bust 20 minutes before closing on a Saturday no surprise there
Navi Jay: One stop shop for all your sewing and fabric needs. I first started going to dressew when I started fashion school in 2011 and haven’t stopped going since. I find everything I am looking for here. Highly recommend checking it out if you are looking for any type of fabric. They have a wide range and their prices are really good too.
Meaghan Skelly: The workers are so sweet 😊
brian hu: Low-priced cloth. Not bad
B. John Doyle: Dressew gave me a wonderful shopping experience yesterday. Not only did they help me find what I was looking for right at closing time, someone even went into the stockroom to get what I was looking for when it was not on the. That's not shopping, that's love.
Laura Mulkerrins: Awesome for any and every kind of fabric!
Gail Mitchell: There was a huge sale the day I went. I thought I would have trouble getting assistance. The place was packed. No! They were so helpful. Loved this store
Laura McNaughton: I love this place! Fabric is reasonably priced. They have the best selection of sewing notions, appliques, etc. And, fun costume pieces.
YukonSix: You just have to stop ,visit, buy
Judson Pooyak: Great place great staff
Hermione Flavia: Omg, I love this store so much. They've been here, in Vancouver, for decades and are family owned. The staff are delightful and helpful. Their range is so great, and I love that they have things at a range of prices, so there's something for every budget and skill level. They also have a clearance section with deadstock, meaning they help keep textiles out of landfill. I shop here regularly, as I've been learning to sew the last few years, and I highly recommend them. I often use their online shop as well, so if you're not nearby but looking for a fabric store, you can still shop here.
Madeleine LeBlancReiser: My favourite place to buy fabric and sewing notions!
duaneology: I took my daughters here and their brains nearly melted from excitement over the selection. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
Monet Forbes: Great stuff great place, just wish they were open Sundays! But hey it's family owned and everybody needs a day off!
Alphonse Quenneville: Shady part of town, but everything needed for sewing...
Alyssa Becker: Good selection. A little pricey. Staff are efficient, but not necessarily warm or welcoming. But if there is something you need you can’t elsewhere, good chance you’ll find it here!

Atex Fabrics: what do users think?
Parvaz Janoon: Bit unorganized and a tight place to maneuver, though quite friendly staff, owner is very nice, limited verity of clothing (depends what's you hunting) nice store to visit occasionally for fashion and tailoring students.
Rebecca Irish: Amazing collection of beautiful fabrics; the staff are lovely and so helpful
Olivera Roncevic: Great prices, products and customer service!
Nikki Mitchell: Great service!
Shelly Ingram: I'm over the moon with this little fabric store which carries the best georgous beautiful fabrics that I've ever bought, although I've only shopped there a handful of times the quality of fabric has been excellent you get what you pay for and boy oh boy did I hit the jack potBut if I ever had to write something about customer service, Steven you are the best the most helpful polite knowledged staff I received/bought the most beautiful Burgundy velvet from Steven and I had to send my husband, and we'll after Steven took time at closing to listen to me over the phone and based on everything and all the colors that I spit out over the phone my husband brought me the most beautiful velvet I've ever seen and Steven added a piece of lace to match ..free of charge..like how often does that ever happen ..ten minutes before closing ..over the phone Steven you made .y year thankyou for your outstanding customer service I appreciate it more than you know!!
Sam Steele: very helpful staff. good selection of quality fabrics
Larissa Pizzolato: All the fabric you could dream of, and more! Popped in this afternoon and the staff were super friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful!
Rein Infante: I love the selection of fabrics. The staff are friendly.
Megan W-C: I recently went in looking for some fabric (and I have no clue what I am doing) and I had a great experience! The woman working (not sure if she was the owner) helped me get exactly what I didn't know I was looking for!
N Gropp: Good selection of natural fires at a fair price, knowledgeable
Catherine K: Opening times are… open to interpretation. Sign at the door says 12-5. Called them and it says 11:30-5. And I see that here on Google it’s 12-5:30. Wow. Opening times are the very very basic business practice you should adhere to with precision. Stood in front of their shop in the pouring rain and no sign of anyone at 12:15. Nice.I get it- things come up. A quick post on Facebook or Instagram OR your voice mail would avoid serious frustration for your customers. Do yourself a favour and call before you show up.
Derek Driscoll: Amazing shop, I went there today and got 100% hemp. Super happy they had some in stock. Great selection, and really kind people.8/5 stars
Heather: Support local and get your fabric at this lovely little shop! Great staff and great selection of textiles!
Steven Huston: My favorite fabric store in town. Great quality products (particularly their wool and linen selections) that are reasonably priced. The small space means the offerings are constantly rotating so I stop by to browse a few times per month and I've always had great customer service. If there's a better retail fabric store in the Lower Mainland I haven't found it yet.
Sarah S: Very knowledgeable staff, fair pricing and lots of choices! Very happy with my purchase
Angela Huxham: The best fabric store in Vancouver. Good selection of quality natural fabrics: linen, silks, wool, and lovely cottons. Knowledgable and friendly service
Verna Edwards: I really enjoy looking through the fabric selection. Wonderful wools and wide variety og good cottons for masks
Laila Salama: Great customer serviceBig variety of fabrics and prints even though the shop is small.
Jaivismar Flores: The owners are the best! the fabric and experience that is lived in Atex is very good !! they have the best prices in BC😊😊!!
wendy werier: Big bang for your buck! Local mom and pop shop, and so helpful! Great experience, thank you so much!!
Valeria Stephens (Panda): Small but interesting selection of fabrics and attentive staff. Good if, like me, you are making masks.

FABCYCLE: what do users think?
Suzy King: I love that they are recycling so much fabric. I got a LOT of scraps to use as stuffing for an art project and some great fabrics as well. Really friendly and helpful! 💛
Catherine van Kampen: Wow, just wow!I bought super inexpensive zippers from Fabcycle last year and was impressed with those. What compelled me to write this review is that I recently ordered a mystery knit pack for some very cheap price, along with 2 selected pieces of French Terry. I am making hoodies and T shirts this time. Oh goodness, the surprise pack is amazing! It's silky feeling rayon or bamboo lycra, I think, and just such nice quality. Other than not getting to pick the colours (the surprise part) it's the BEST deal since my free sewing machine. 🤣
annelise g: Delightful store--so much fabric at amazing prices. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. You'll have to hunt--but that's the fun!
VMHamel: The prices are very good and they have amazing customer service, plus buying from them keeps material out of landfills, it's a win win!
Patricia Pihlaja: Love the idea of selling textiles to avoid it filling the landfills. Space is cramped and messy. Staff were wonderful.
Karen W: Great prices and some great deals if you know what to look for
B B: This is a FANTASTIC little hidden gem! I’m just learning to sew and wanted fabric to make dog hoodies, Emily was absolutely fantastic at helping me pick out fabric and was so fun to talk to as well. When the staff found out I have a Corgi they were so excited to see pictures and we swapped stories about our pups which was awesome. The prices were insanely cheap and it’s great quality fabric! The staff are amazing and this will be my go to fabric shop from now on!!
vanessa c: I love Fabcycle for its initiative and as a business. I'm a big fan of salvaging whats old/tossed away, and now I can apply this to my sewing side hustle. Their fabrics are exactly as described, well-priced and they have a lovely selection. I also appreciate the fun they have in making promotional material.
Kreepy Peach: angels work here 3 3
Linda Bennett: Great place for discounted fabric & notions. It's also good to keep fabric out of the landfill.
Laurie M.: Fun, helpful staff, the women here really know their stuff. They were most kind to this Home economics sewing class drop out.Such a wonderful concept to divert fabric that would have been wasted into a small retail business. Supplies maybe limited, so pick stuff up ASAP when you see it. Needless to say, they have a great prices!Tip for anyone doing Zoom or self tapes, pick up some beautiful blue fabric. It's pretty much wrinkle free and drapes beautifully. Many other colors for a Zoom background, too. Really ups your game!
Monti Salemohamed: Amazing service. Irina is a gem of a person and they are always quick to reply and they always go above and beyond!
Derek Driscoll: The best. What else needs to be said! Super jolly vibes and really great finds.
Aria Finley: I ordered one specific bolt of fabric and some small scraps and big scraps and I am so thrilled with what I recieved!! That is the least I have ever spent on fabric, yet it was not an insignificant amount!I absolutely love what they are doing here and I don't think I am going to be buying fabric anywhere else from now on
Nadine Canuck: I have ordered twice. Quick delivery (free with minimum purchase, and always as advertised. I have gotten great quality fabric at 1/4 of retail pricing.
Rachel Casel: I ordered from FABCYCLE online because I love their commitment to eliminate textile waste. The prices are affordable, the website was easy to navigate, and the dead-stock fabric I purchased was just as they described. I was very pleased with my experience and will order from them again!
Oyster Oy (Jardin des huitres): Geat communication with the organization. The fabric and notion were exactly as expected.I liked the "by the pound" fabrics. The pieces were much bigger than expected and there was great diversity in colour, texture and material. It feels like suprise bag and that makes it just so much more fun!
Emma Burke: They had exactly what I was looking for and the ladies are so friendly and helpful! I’m already excited to go back :)
Blanca Amieva: If you looking for place to do a project and save the earth this a place to go just need to do an application and the are very nice staff and very good price
Aurore: I love going to Fabcycle. From the smiley owner welcoming you through the doors to the great selection of fabric rolls, fabric scraps, threads, elastics and even buttons. Knowing that I am saving those from going to landfill is the cherry on the cake. I go there on a regular basis as they get new stock all the time. Keep up the good work!
Jackie Wheatley: I have been going to Fabcycle when I can since they opened. It is a great place to get either scraps for testing patterns or getting that nice fleece for your next hoodie. The staff is always willing to help and has extensive knowledge on what fabrics you might need.

Quilter's Dream Fabrics (open by appointment): what do users think?
Ruth Burke: I live in the states and saw a quilt of Lorna’s on Pinterest. I followed the leads and found her quilt shop online, but the kit was sold out. So I messaged her to ask if she still had the fabric. She emailed me back almost immediately. Long and short of it is she expanded the throw sized quilt to king sized for me, put together fabrics, and called me with details. What an absolutely lovely, helpful woman. She is an example of what we like so much about the quilting world - the beautiful women who work in it. Thank you Lorna.
Kristi B: I absolutely love this place. We visited a couple of years ago and the selection was absolutely incredible and the owner was an sweetheart. It was like shopping with a good friend. We had so much fun. I'm only sorry I didn't leave a glowing review sooner so others can discover such a wonderful place.
Linnet Chappelka: Lorna is the absolute sweetest person! She asked about my projects, made sure I was getting the right materials for each purpose, and answered all my questions with details and expertise. A great assortment of fabrics, notions, and other materials. Really pleased with her covid safety measures too.
Davy Giorgi: This is a beautiful shop and Lorna is wonderful. She was extremely helpful and generous. This place is amazing!
Mr. Cole Gallant: Nice looking fabrics
Gabrielle Dickert (Gabby): Incredible experience! Lorna went above and beyond in every possible way. She walked me through all of the details and things I needed to think about for my quilt. We chose some incredible fabrics that are going to look incredible! Highly recommend.
Gail Weber: Lorna was wonderful and helped with pattern details for the scarves and apron pattern I will make. So glad we made the decision to visit her shop. Thanks !!!
Cinette_Marie_ Molyneux: You couldn't meet nicer people.
Jane Dickerson: These two ladies have passion running through their veins.Arrived prior, looks great. thanks
Thao An Truong: I came looking for some pieces to work with my portfolio. Ms Loren and her assistant were extremely helpful! The quality is amazing and I could tell the fabrics were authentic. Would definitely come back again for more!
mary curran: This is a beautiful shop with beautiful fabric in the beautiful home of a wonderfully friendly and helpful owner. Phone before you go for bus directions...the studio is only open Saturdays from 10-4. Lorna’s love for specialty fabric and for quilting is infectious. I was lured to the shop by her Noren Japanese panels which are drop down gorgeous. Her supply of Japanese handwoven cottons amd silks and batiks are impressive. She designs quilt patterns to construct simple, modern, Zen-inspired quilts and has tons of quilts on hand to give you a taste of how beautifully they sew up. Wow, what a treat...well worth trip from Ontario and a hike out on the bus which stops 2 minutes away. Save an hour or so to explore the shops of Kerrisdale, a really cute area of Vancouver. Thanks Lorna for your hospitality today. Regards, Mary
S. Shapiro: Hand picked selection, specialty patterns at reasonable prices imported from Japan. These two ladies have passion running through their veins. Super helpful and patient answering all of my questions. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars!
Ralph Gibson: Spectacular, hard to find fabrics, and a knowledgeable, helpful proprietor.

Spool of Thread: what do users think?
jennifer huxham: Beautiful store, awesome selection and super helpful staff :)
stephen olson: Pretty good and large space for moving around and viewing products.
Frank Branch: I needed a special cut of fabric I couldn’t do myself due to a disability. They were so helpful got exactly what I needed. Definitely coming here was worth the drive.
Ly Nguyen: Staff was not friendly or helpful when I called about an introductory sewing class. When I asked approximately how much the supplies would cost in addition to the class fee and instead of explaining the options they said they would only send me the list after I’ve put down the non-refundable deposit. I decided to go with The Stitchery Sewing Studio in Port Moody instead; they allow online booking and have a clear outline of the materials you’d need for their classes on their website (not to mention you also get a discount for buying in store materials). I get that they have to pay their instructors and the rates are fair for what you get but providing friendly customer service over the phone shouldn’t be all that hard.
Zachary Abbott: Cute, clean and very well stocked.Polite and helpful staff. Will be back for fabric FOR SURE !!!
Peter Freitas: Leigha was absolutely wonderful to get customer service from! She greeted us immediately upon entering and continued throughout our trip finding fabrics for 4 different projects. She was extraordinarily friendly the whole time! On top of the service the quality and variety of fabrics was great to see.
Cassandra Ma: Went into the store and didn’t find the staff to be very helpful or friendly. They have a great selection of prints but it’s pretty expensive and I saw the exact same fabric I bought off Etsy from a local seller for a higher price. I’m sure the cost of rent and owning a business contributes to the inflated price, I understand. What I mean to say is if they charge a higher price for a store front and customer service, it would be helpful for staff to be friendlier and available to help and not be brushed off or on their cell phones at the front desk.Cute fabrics and prints but I would rather support other small businesses like Twoonine or DailyLike on Etsy or Blackbird.
HR: Good selection of fabrics. Spacious layout. Mixed experiences with staff, however. There are sewing machines at the back of the shop where staff are usually sewing when I enter the store. If I go to the till to look for assistance, I wait for a while, but then I need to call and ask, hello who is working here? Some workers are kind and helpful, but about half the time I get grudging service.
Jenny Paddon: Such a beautiful store...the most gorgeous fabrics...beautifully presented...fabulous range of interesting patterns...a tranquil inspiring place of creativityParking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free street parking …More
Lucy F: I went there to pick up my order. When I walked in the door, I saw one staff was sitting there minding her own business. I greeted her and thanked her when I was telling her the reason of my visit, but she never greeted back accordingly except that she gave me my order. Then I browsed the store a bit, when I was leaving, I heard her passionately greeted to two Caucasian costumers at the door. I thought it’s her personality but it’s a discrimination instead. All I can say is I despise this type of behavior, shame on you.
Joel Reynolds: very cool store, and very helpful staff
Andrew Bryson: Went in looking for a particular thing. Turned out they didn't have it and the staff person suggested an alternative which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the alternative would not suit what I needed. I asked if they knew of any place that had what I was looking for as they clearly could not meet my need and I was quite surprised by the response. One counter person just said no outright. As we were walking out, the second staff person walked up to us and quietly suggested a store up the road. It was very obvious that she didn't feel comfortable sharing an alternative store. If it is clear that the store has no way to fill my need, what is the issue recommending an alternative place?
Chanh Houang: Knowledgeable staff, beautiful selection of fabrics.
Danni: Great prices, lots of fun and cute prints. I placed an order for fabrics after their hours, my order was processed and ready for pickup the next day, when i went i saw this cute cat sewing box. The staff was also friendly
Mark Trischuk: Way better than Michael's for sewing supplies
Maya Credico: Great shop! Amazing selection. I Came in and knew exactly what I wanted, and they were a great help with me finding my supplies. I purchased the Florence dress pattern by merchant and mills.Thank you spool of thread!
Romy Zaidel: Staff are not very friendly. I walked in with my child who was behaving themself and they were pretty snotty. I've been in many times alone and I've never had a problem. There are other much better sewing shops to go to in the city.
Rosemary Lynch: Super nice fabrics , but unfortunately the worst service ever! I am a beginner and simply asked if I was getting enough fabric ? The gal passed me a ruler and walked off . Turns out I got all the way back to Whistler only to find out I did not , so disappointed
Lucia: Great variety of beautiful fabrics, and helpful staff! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for unique and interesting patterns
Kati Rodzon: Fun store with great fabric. Staff is helpful
M C: Really making an effort to shop local and avoid giving my money to big box stores/amazon, so i would have been really happy to buy from spool of thread. However, when I went in and asked for organic fabric for a baby project, the staff very unwillingly showed me some holiday prints (the only organic fabric they have apparently), and were in general pretty uncommunicative and unhelpful. I asked what other fabric they might recommend for a project for a baby and they said "we dont have any fabric for baby stuff specifically" and acted like it was a strange/annoying request. You're telling me no one comes in here looking to make baby gifts? Zero suggestions, no help beyond the bare minimum of what I specifically asked for. Enthusiasm and customer service are things people shop at small businesses for.The store is lovely inside, a really nice space. But the cold maybe snobby service? No thanks. I biked all the way over ready to spend my money, and I left empty handed.

Eva Hansen: Amazing! Amazing people volunteering, amazing high-end fabrics, amazing service if you forgot to buy something and need them to find that fabric and mail it to you, amazing everything. I'm a fabric shopper with over 55 years of experience shopping for fabric (I do occasionally make something too!) and this place is the best ever. I live a ferry ride away but it's worth it to make a trip to the mainland around when Our Social Fabric is open to the public. Really really amazing!
Zora Feren: Great selection, staff are always so nice! Very happy to give them my money when I need supplies
Derek Sorensen: Absolutely amazing service and the friendliest staff!!
Rosanna McNulty: Always a great selection of fabric!
Emma: A hidden gem! The selection is large, the prices can't be beaten, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable 😊
Anita S: This place is a hidden Vancouver treasure!! For those looking for great deals on fabric and sewing notions with an nod towards conserving the environment, this is the best of all worlds. All the fabric is either donated by the public or clothing design companies so product ranges from your grandma’s tickle trunk to hi-tech polymers. The only neg is that it’s only open for a few hours a week on a Thursday and one Sunday per month.
S Boe: Love Our Social Fabric! Lots of selection, great prices, lovely people. I've shopped here for years, most of my purchases are for costuming theatre shows.
Jean Prescott: OSF is my go -to shopping location for fabrics. Not only are the fabrics less expensive, they are being "rescued' from a life in the landfill and repurposed by home sewers to a new life. I love this fabric outlet and what they are doing! Keep up the great work, OSF Jean
Terri VS: Love Our Social Fabric! Excellent place to get fabric keeping it from the landfill. Always a great selection of different type of fabric and notions including vintage fabrics.
Fiddle Sticks: Super nice volunteers and an incredible amount of good quality fabric and notions for fantastic deals. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone that sews.
Shreyasi Das: Lovely space to buy recycled textiles, sewing notions and a few textiles-related gems. Lots of fabrics to choose from! Friendly staff
Jan B: This place is a textile treasure hunter's dream! You never know what you will find! There is every possibly that you will find a gorgeous silk, rare professional quality elastics, high end athletic and technical fabrics - and so much more.
Daytona Bleach: Love OSF. So happy they are online now. Since the pandemic I have started sewing again, wanting to get off the fast fashion rollercoaster. Making your own athleisure wear is very simple, lots of tutorials online and thanks to OSF it is affordable to buy bough quality fabric.
Dana Crawford: I made a couple of online orders now. I live in Alberta so, unfortunately, I can't just walk into the store. (Although I will make it destination if I'm in the area.) Their online store is very well organized and easy to use. The items came quickly and as described. And on each receipt someone wrote a nice note, adding a personal touch to a digital experience. I also love their business model!
Karen W: Great deals and selection. Staff is always amazing. You have to be quick for organic as that is in high demand.
Jacquelyne Allen: Always inspiring to shop at Our Social Fabric! Excellent prices and selection.

pisces channel: Expensive but nice sarees. Nice owner
Frazzled Thang: Nick and all the aunties are very lovely ! Lots of beautiful fabrics and good prices! Thank you guys for all your help!
John Lightowlers: Great selection of blankets and a lot of colourful fabrics for various occasions.

Tanya Jellison: Great fabric and nice staff
Manoharini Mcleod: This place has the best selection of beautiful fabrics and best prices anywhere in vancouver ! And I've been to them all. Very nice owners and helpful employees. 👍
Raven Song: Wow...the only place in the city to get ceremonial print on can afford Was a wonderful experience I will be back. They also have the ceremonial blankets as well ..great for honoring and gifting.
Kevin Sarrazin: Terrible service. I asked basic questions and was treated rudely and talked down too. Never visit this store. There are many other fabric stores with better, polite and competent staff.
Melissa Ratcliff: Beautiful selection of embroidered fabrics, Sarees, satins, and so many other gorgeous decorative fabrics. Staff are super friendly and helpful, and they always have a ton of new and interesting stock coming in.
Mishal Grewal: Fine threads for my fine body💋
Bhagwan Taneja: Variety of high quality fabrics and great customer service!
Savva Atelier: Absolutely Amazing!I have been shopping at Rokkos for years and have never been disappointed.I love when I go in there, an employee is immediately by your side ready to ask if you need help with anything. (they grab the fabric rolls for you, and show you in the right direction if you need them to)I run a custom clothing shop and if I ever am in need of a specific fabric(and they don't have it), the owners have always helped me find it and shipped it in right away, any colour, any time.Love their selection. Thank you!
Courtney: The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. But the prices are by far the best in Vancouver!
Tejbir Deol: I have never felt the need to rate an order before, but I was so pleased with the quality of the fabrics I ordered. I just wanted to tell you a big THANK YOU. It is so refreshing to have a product be really the quality that you want it to be and not be disappointed when you receive it! The lady there is so helpful and knowledgeable about the fabrics. I will be doing more business with you.
Ankita Guha Patra: Amazing quality of fabrics and customer service! Prices are very reasonable and a vast variety to choose from. The owner is extremely kind-hearted and considerate. I highly recommend!
Lee Jay: Horrible customer service!
Chris Falcon: I have been purchasing fabrics from Rokko Sarees and providing referrals to hundreds of my clients for over three decades. Today was my last time, I set my foot in this store, I will no longer shop or refer any of my clients to them. I noticed their business practice is getting shadier these days. Things I have ordered have been substitute with poorer quality instead of better. The voluptuous lady (owner) that always sit behind the counter is extremely rude and uneducated. She is always superficially nice but at same time, she can also be quite viciously nasty when you don’t buy or you are wasting her time, so you better watch your back! I find the quality of fabrics in this store are unpredictable and inconsistent. When there is no fiber content labelling on many rolls of their fabrics that should raise a lot of red flags. I have few bad experiences purchasing their fabrics only later to discovered that they were heavily flawed so you really must check thoroughly before you have them cut otherwise, that voluptuous lady owner will scream at you. They have no quality control when it comes to their fabric, if you are lucky, you will get a good piece but if you are not, you will still have to pay for that bad piece of fabric at the full regular price because they won’t and never offer any refund or apology. Their business model is quite simple, “we don’t care about customer service or quality”. Sometimes you may think you are getting a good deal from them but the end of the day, you may also get stuck with a poor-quality piece of fabric that is unusable so is it worth it? No. Would I recommend this fabric store to anyone I know? No. The price point for their fabric is mediocre not cheap but the customer service and quality are unsatisfactory. Buyers beware, beware!
Kinson Lai: Great selection of fabrics. Not expensive at all
JT Zhang: The ladies working here are so kind and helpful!
C K: I wanted to write a review about this place I recently visited the store I was looking for a blanket and NHL oilers blanket when I walked in the store there was no hello hi I don’t but I wanted and was planning to go to the back when I got to the back I asked him do you have this blanket in and the owner of the store said well you’ll have to look yourself and if it’s not there then it’s not there I really found from the time I walked into the store and from the time I left was a very bad experience nobody was friendly there the owner made you feel that you were stealing i’m first nations and when I went to the back to look at the blankets she had two people from her staff watching over me bored and uncomfortable feeling especially when they’re profiling you racially overall I would not recommend shopping here they are very rude and Poor experience I definitely would recommend nobody shopping there thank you for taking the time to read this
Ashley Fong: Such friendly staff and an amazing selection of fabrics! A gem of the neighborhood.

Fabrictime Solutions Ltd.: what do users think?
Brad Wallace: Super friendly service and huge selection.Parking is limited.
SewWHAT! Meding_solutions: Jam packed bolts of fabric. A bit pricey but still a good selection.
Eric Lowe: Please note that this location is in the process of moving. I stopped by today and it's more than half empty. I believe their new address is 1332 Franklin.
Frances Roche: Their fabrics were hard to access. They were piled on top of each so much it was hard to see and very hard to pull out which one you needed.
HundredFold Productions: Awesome selection and friendly staff! 5/5
Jamie Learning: Fabric!! LOTS of fabric and findings galore! If you need a lot of it and are willing to a do a little digging then you should definitely stop in at Fabrictime Solutions.
Ben Scheifele: Amazing selection of outdoor material and clothing textiles. All at a very reasonable price. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Lester Lyons-Hookham: Always a pleasure visiting Fabrictime! Huge variety, super helpful in finding what you need (if you can't). I don't mind the chaotic layout, it's honestly the charm of the place - and feels like a treasure hunt; sometimes coming away finding fabrics for projects you didn't plan on!I mostly go here for heavier and technical fabrics for making bags (bikepacking bags), wallets and myog outerwear. Big selection of zippers and hardware too if you're prepared to dig around!
R Lee: Very cool place that sells all kinds of fabrics. I was able to find COURDURA (or at least something as durable as that) there, in a few different colors too. Hopefully, it will last after I use it to repair my outdoor gear.
Joe Patterson: Great employee who found exactly what I needed
Ed Braun: Lots of fabrics not well laid out a little overwhelming.
Nick: Epic place for fabric for productions of all kinds.
Peter Liu: I love the place!
David Carr: Could be better organized, but really nice and helpful guy, a small mountain of fabrics there, and very appreciative of this kind of business in the city. Thankful for the recommendation from Outdoor Innovations (no longer with a storefront nor fabric, but still doing repairs) who directed me to Fabrictime.
B H: Not consistent products but a large choice at the right price.
Meagan Sanchez: They charged me $10 for a yard of felt when on their website it’s $4. And of course the guy took a phone call right before ringing me up so I couldn’t ask him about it. I feel cheated.
Natalie Dustin: It’s great
Savanna Bobyk: Soooo many options!!
Shidan Toloui-Wallace: Great selections and service.
Jess Martin: Great place for fabric, have always had what I needed or was able to get it in
Al Wong (wcb79): Had the type of fabric and colour I was looking for to make a backing for some outdoor seating.Really good service and I found the price to be very reasonable. They've also have a pretty good selection.

Maiwa East: what do users think?
Carlos Garcia: Unique selection of bedding, clothing and textile products with unmatchable quality. Staff knowledgeable and always willing to fulfill special requests. Product availability is sometimes limited due to its artisanal manufacture. This is their warehouse for pickups only. Public shop is on Granville Island.
sara ~: Picking up web orders is easy at this location. Always friendly staff make for a nice experience.
Jacky Yenga: The clothes are incredibly well made, sophisticated, unique and very original. And the staff is just wonderful!
Michael Harris: The staff is very knowledgeable and eager to help. This is what i love about family run businesses , they are truly passionate about what they do.
Dawn Tsamantanis: Friendly and helpful
Tzigane Caddell: I can't say enough good things about Maiwa! The School of Textiles has world class workshops; the supply store has everything you need - dyes, additives, fibre - for natural dyeing; and the Online store is staffed by caring humans who communicate promptly and are most accommodating. I have been dyeing with their natural dyes and fibre blanks for almost 2 years and am very pleased with the quality and service!
Jillian Robertson: The store is so wonderful the staff always greet us with a kind welcome. The choices of mixed media products is great. The staff are generous with their knowledge.
Peter Stocker: Nice
an sheep: Their website says:“Closed Weekends and HolidaysBut ...We often run workshops on weekends, if we are running a workshop we are open.”(As of June 2, 2019)When I arrived during a workshop, and mentioned this policy from their website, the person working said I needed to come by during the week. I suggested that they should update their website to reflect this, and the person was unable to hear that feedback graciously. She said no one else had ever had a problem before. She asked why I wanted to come in, and said she could let me in if I knew exactly what product I wanted to buy. I felt discriminated against, like I wasn’t wearing the right clothing to be shopping at Maiwa as a gay working class person with a natural dying practice. Other folks intending to take them up on their word should be aware that they will make a judgement as to whether you are worth letting in.
Erika G: Staff was super helpful, it looks like there is all you need for your natural dying needs. I like the little how-to booklets they provide.
Melissa Mitchell: Super knowledgeable, polite and friendly staff
Harlow Skin Co: This place is the best! Sustainable, ethical + so much incredible knowledge from all staff. ❤️ 120% 4 thumbs up!
Nathan Hayward: do you have cheese cloth i give 5 stars if you do
MPH Mobile Detailing MPH: Quality products made traditionally. Recommend to anyone who buys clothes & fabrics.
