Dr. Ian Andrew Hyams: what do users think?
Tammy Gadsby: Thank you Fanny! You went out of your way to assist me and I am so appreciative of your special attention to my issues! I cannot thank you enough. It is difficult to live with mental illness and you helped break a barrier today! You lessened the stigma attached to mental health! My heart is full.❤️❤️ I felt understood and heard.❤️❤️
Pia Therese Måsø: Hands down the best family doctor I’ve ever had. He always does whatever he can to help his patients, and is always so patient and kind with my two young daughters. Jenn and Fanny are very helpful and kind always, and will fit us in if it’s urgent.Just 10/10 care.I feel so blessed we’ve been so lucky to find such a wonderful Doctor. So warm and welcoming.. Thank you guys so much for always caring so warmly about my family.Highly recommend!
Arita Liu: Did the metabolic assessment here. Paid $200 for body composition scan and static calorie burn rate - done in less than 20 minutes. Doctor's consultation was minimal. He wrote down notes on the margins of the test results. Upon request, test results were printed in large font on one sheet of paper and I'm not expected to understand what the indices mean. The receptionist said they're for the doctor's information; they're not relevant for patients.... I really have no words. A diet plan was produced - a short paragraph of meal type. The info is simply too general to make any sense. It is ridiculous to even give patients this kind of nonsensical document. Invoice was $500 billed including MIC injections, yet I never agreed I would be on the plan. Overall, not a professional clinic, far from being one.
Eugen Goriac: The front desk helpers and Dr. Hyams are welcoming and exceptionally supportive! They helped my 18 months old recover swiftly from his sickness. Usually he cries so much when encountering any doctor but everyone in this clinic created such a pleasant environment he barely shed a tear and actually was giggly towards the end despite being in pain. Thank you so much!
Tired Mommy: In spite of some dated ideas, Dr. Hyams is a really kind person who is very knowledgeable in his areas of interest.Unfortunately, the older woman who is his MOA is a nightmare. I’ve required an urgent appointment but nobody answered the phones or responded to emails for days. By the time anyone got back to me, it was too late for me to get help.I have heard her be rude to people on the phone while in the waiting room. She appears cold and dismissive in person. Forms have been lost multiple times and she gets upset anyone asking her questions. The young lady kind and she is at least apologetic when things go wrong. We have been with Dr. Hyams for many years and I really miss the former front desk staff. I am disabled and seen many, many doctors and never have I encountered someone so unprofessional. After seeing the other reviews, I can’t understand why she is still there because obviously there are others who have encountered the same issues with her.
Sylvie Bayliss: Awesome Physician Dr. Hyams is and Jenn the office manager is A++++. We always get attentive treatment, email responses are prompt every time! Both were there for us 24/7 when my husband was recovering from open heart surgery, nothing but gratitude for them.
Sharon White: Dr. Hyams is a great doctor! I have seen him for trigger point injections. I feel however, like I have not been treated very well from his MOA. I was referred to him again for trigger injections and was told by his MOA that he took me off as a patient. That didn't make sense to me. I didn't understand. She was to speak with the doctor in regards to the re-referral but she never got back to me. Also, Dr. Hyams does PRP. I wanted to inquire about it and emailed but did not receive a reply or a phone call. I feel like the office picks and chooses whom they want as patients. Not a very forthcoming attitude. Now, I am not sure if I would recommend anyone to his clinic.
Dimitrios Christakis: I visited this clinic to check a chest discomfort I have. After a huge monologue from the receptionist where she was talking about herself and how busy she is or that they're not accepting new patients, I managed to inform her that I'm not looking for a family doctor but for a check and treatment of my issue. She told me that she'll do me a "favor" and booked me an appointment the very next day.Next day, the doctor examined me and prescribed me a very strong anti-inflamantory and blood + electrocardiography exams. My exams came out with multiple exclamation marks but the doctor never followed up. I called back 3 weeks later to book for a follow up and the receptionist started scolding me saying that they did me a favor (?!). She finally booked me a 10min phone follow up the week after.Well, the doctor never called me back for our appointment and when I tried to reach the clinic, they had a message saying in a passive aggressive tone that they are very busy and don't try to leave any messages because they won't even respond. If you don't want "favors" from your hard paid healthcare, find a better place for your treatment. They treat us as clients and not patients. I don't recommend this place.
cluj napoca: Dr. Hyams is an amazing doctor. Knowledgeable, patient, and kind.
Joy W: Ridiculous and frustrating.I was Dr. Ian Hyams' patient in his old port coquitlam location. After they moved to Port Moody, I tried to call and submitted online forms multiple times in the past 2 years.. no one has ever got back to me, calls always went to voice mail. I understand all clinics are busy, but absolutely no reply in 2 years is simply ridiculous.I have to go to different walk-in clinics these two years... I still have this doctor as my family doctor on file. I tried one last time today but if still no reply in a week, I guess it's time for me to find a family doctor whose office is actually replying to patient's calls&emails. Too bad as Dr. Ian Hyams was actually very nice and helpful..updated:Got a first call back after 20mins in 2 years owing to this review... I wonder if I did not submit a review, would they still not reply as in the past 2 years. The receptionist lady wasn't yelling or anything, but she tried to blame me for not emailing them in the past 2 years - I clarified i submitted the online form on their website and called multi times - she said no one is monitoring the online form.. ok.. then do not put the form on your website or have someone monitored it as should be, not a patients fault, plus I did call in the past 2 years leaving multi voice mails too, so no one is monitoring the online form is not a good excuse. It was really frustrating and even so, I did not raise my voice nor saying anything inappropriate, just still trying to get an appointment as i am in lots of pain. She ignored, still trying to push to give me their email address, I told her I wish to get an appointment first then can get the email...believe or not, she then said, she wont help me and will get her office manager to call me this evening and cannot help me to make an appointment coz the way I talk to her makes her uncomfortable.I hope their calls are recorded. I am a frustrated patient not getting any help, not a single reply in the past years, not the receptionist's fault and I have no intention to blame to her or anyone. Trying to blame on a patient for your own work mistake is simply not professional nor right. Now it honestly seems like she had no intention to help me to book an appointment from the beginning, instead, they just called back to blame me or push me to email them so they could get away with it. No patient should take any blame because the clinic did not manage their customer service system professional as they should, nor any frustrated patient should take the blame for telling the truth. I work in customer service field myself and knowing how awful it would be to deal with rude and unreasonable customers on a daily base, so I always remind myself not to be rude even in situations like this. The whole experience is simply beyond frustration and disappointment.. and again, I still think Dr. Ian Hyams is a great doctor. I also recall the receptionists in his old clinic were so nice and helpful, no attitude given at all, even they also deal with so many patients daily too.I really tried.. now time for me to look for a new family doctor.Reply to the clinic's reply:I did not receive any call back nor reply to the online form from you guys in the past years so not sure when and how you explained to me as claimed... I had to see the doctors in the old clinic and go to other walk-in clinics because I cannot get hold of you, no one informed me anything about the transfer ever.. even in the old clinic, the doctors kept telling me Dr. Hyams is my family doctor..And also, if that is the case, why didnt the receptionist lady just simply inform me about the transfer I was never aware of before instead of trying to push me to write down the email addresses and said their office manager would call me back to book an appointment..?This is so frustrating and confusing.. but anyway, not gonna waste any more time to figure out what exactly is happening.. good to get an answer today so I don't need to keep waiting for another 2 years. Thank you.
Sal Mawani: Thank you Dr Hyams for all of what you do for me with such care and interest. I cannot be grateful enough of your support especially when times are tough and when one is most vulnerable in search for answers. I appreciate your authenticity and patience. I wish you the best in return.

Springs Eternal Natural Health Clinic: what do users think?
Patricia Moura: Today was my first consultation with Dr. Nari Pidutti. From the moment I arrived to when I left, it was an amazing experience. She is very knowledgeable, the line of treatment she offered was very much aligned with what I had in mind, and she seemed to understand what was important to me. Very reasonable, professional, experienced, I can already foresee it will be a great partnership towards my health objectives. Cannot be happier!
A E: Amazing Experience !
Monica Berant: I was in a lot of pain and after her treatment I feel much better! Highly recommend her!
Nina Spreeuw: It was a wonderful experience and great to talk about these things.
Diana Firican: Dr. Pidutti has helped me and my husband, as well as my friend tremendously. He is very knowledgeable, kind and patient and looks at each person as a whole, not only their physical health state, but their life style, environment, state of mind, emotional state, stress levels, personal challenges. He truly offers a holistic view and solutions that yield lasting results. I am truly grateful to have found Dr. Pidutti, am a returning customer and recommend him whole-heartedly.
Dj Cleland-Hura: Everyone is super at the clinic and they make sure you are taken care of as an individual.
Gabi Kabazo: Had my first visit today and the knowledge shared by Dr Pidutti was amazingexcellent support by front office staff as well!
Pat Bermel: I loved the treatment work I did with Elena. She was empathic, professional, and highly intuitive. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for health care support, regardless of the symptoms or condition.
Zuzana J: I'm so grateful that this planet have humans like Dr. John who sees far beyond what is possible. I truly wish GP's have this approach to genuinely connect with people on such level where you always feel there is always a way to elevate your health. Looking forward to meet his wife as well in the near future. Just love and acceptance in John's heart.
Justin Pilson: They were very caring and friendly throughout the whole visit, and seemed to really know what they were talking about
Martina Riessner Yuzek: Dr. Pidutti is a great listener and always asks insightful and thought provoking questions. Contrary to what a previous reviewer wrote, he has never once tried to sell me one of his products - he seems to truly care about his patients and isn't just trying to squeeze money out of them.
Emilie Gray: I shopped around Vancouver before picking Dr. John Pidutti. The man is so caring, smart and gentle. Don't hesitate in choosing him as your Dr. you will be in excellent hands. I am a difficult person to work with I know this and he has been a pleasure to work with. After spending a small fortune on three different naturopaths last year my health is finally turning around. So pleased. Oh and I almost forgot the front desk is awesome (Melissa)!
Ling So: He creates a close relationship (like a therapist) to you but I thought it was too much. He knows how to push you in a nice way. It clearly works if you are desperate. He will try to talk you into buying treatments at his "clinic" (its more a tiny two room office). Personally, I was missing alternative options in order to heal without buying stuff from him. I did some research later and found plenty of alternatives. So take your time and do not follow him blindly.
Raquel Edwards: I went and saw Dr. John a year ago. After a few tests he determined that I was insulin resistant. With his help I was able to drop 35 pounds and understand why I struggled for years to lose weight. I've recommended Springs Eternal to family and friends who have had positive results
Pablo Schroeder: I was recommended to Dr Pidutti from a good friend who he had helped a lot.I went to my Doctor for certain issues. The Doctor seemed to think that medicine was the answer. Dr John gave a different perspective and helped me find other solutions that didn't involve taking medicine the rest of my life that might have side affects. Not only is John a great doctor, he is a great loving, compassionate person. Both he and his wife Nari [whom he works with] are beautiful people and have a passion for their work.
Adam Wicks: Springs Eternal is an amazing clinic! I went in originally for a general check up as I know Dr. Pidutti from a networking group. John's well natured character was enough to bring me into the clinic initially, but the service I received is what has kept me coming back.John then went on to asses my back pain and has got me more relief than any other treatment - and I have tried anything.I love their hands on approach at Springs Eternal. They treat the route cause of your problem instead of just the symptoms.FULLY RECOMMEND!
Andrea Hedley: It's easy for me to understand why Dr. Nari Pidutti was awarded one of the best naturopathic doctors in Vancouver. She is currently treating my three year old son for ongoing allergies and low immunity. Her level of care and knowledge is impressive. Thanks for helping my little guy get back on his feet again.

Pangaea Clinic of Naturopathic Medicine Inc, Dr Eric Chan, Dr Tawnya Ward: what do users think?
n c: Very nice clinic and caring doctors, leading edge knowledge....very highly recommended
Geofrey Lacouvee: I was blown away at how much Dr Chan knew about natural health, and he is probably the most knowledgeable of all the naturopaths that I have been to in the last few years. Thank you Dr Chan!
Amit Luthra: Amazing doctor! I have chronic fatigue and pain in my body. Nothing else worked until I saw Dr Chan. He is performing Ozone Therapy and I am feeling much better. I have heard he is the best around if you have Lyme. He is very patient and caring and never tries to oversell you anything other that you need. Nice location, clinic is always super clean and receptionist Amy is very caring and helpful. Will totally recommend! 5 Stars!
Taylor Young: I saw Eric when I was in the middle of my Lyme disease struggle and he put me back onto a path to health with complete confidence. To say that the guy is knowledgable is a complete understatement.. he is there to help you and answer any questions you have.. even in the form of an email which most doctors/naturopaths do not.. I can write a few paragraphs about how great this guy is and how great he is for the Lyme community but If you're struggling with lyme/ co-infections this is your guy
Dr. Emina Jasarevic: I saw Dr. Eric Chan, when I was a young adult - about 17 years ago. I suffered terrible, debilitating migraine headaches. After 4 weeks of treatment, my chronic migraine headaches were completely resolved. I did not experience another for at least 10 years. This is a testament to the effectiveness of Naturopathic Medicine and for Doctors who use therapies that are basic, least invasive and incorporate the power of vitamins and food. I no longer needed expensive Sumatriptan medications. I learned how to manage my life stressors and avoid my food triggers. Then... I became a Naturopathic Doctor.Thank you Eric. I appreciate you.
Kim Allen: I have been seeing Dr. Ward for a while now. She is excellent at what she does. She cares and listens. She has helped me tremendously! I have also seen Dr. Chan as well and find him exceptional as well. I highly recommend this clinic.
Toni Sing: My experience with Dr. Chan has been amazing. He is thorough, knowledgeable, efficient and effective. After being ill for a long time and being in the worst health ever (there were a few close calls). I am well and living my best life. By the way - I'm still on the wait list for the complex & chronic disease program at BC Women's Hospital (2 years later) - sorry Mainstream Health Care - my health couldn't wait.
Shelley Cameron: My experience with Dr. Chan was life changing after being ill for many years. He was able to treat me when I had been dismissed by 10 plus doctors. He is caring, knowledge , and very skilled physician.
Rox Jess: I sincerely believe Dr. Chan gave me back my life. After 7 years of being repeatedly dismissed by doctor after doctor and told "there's nothing wrong with you" or "maybe you're depressed" while they tried to shove prescriptions for anti-depressants at me, I'd almost given up hope that I would ever get my life back. A friend of a friend recommended Dr. Chan might be able to help and I thought, why not? I had nothing to lose anymore because I was barely living anyway. My first visit with Dr. Chan was long, where he did lots of physical tests nobody had ever done before. I also joked he was a vampire because he ordered so many blood tests. He suspected I had Lyme disease which I knew nothing about. When the results came back positive for Lyme and treatment began, it was life changing. I had been a shell of a person for years and suddenly, I was awake again! I can't say enough about this man and the support he has given me for the last 4 years. It's been a LONG road. He's helped me through relapses, never dismissing the new and crazy symptoms Lyme will spring on me. He's given me back my life. And to know that I have someone in my corner who will HEAR ME and wants to help me be healthy is incredible. There are no words that can express how grateful I am to Dr. Chan. "Thank you" is not enough. I lost 7 years of my life where I barely existed as a person. If it wasn't for Dr. Chan, I'm not sure I would still be here today.
Brandy Welles: Dr. Chan is a miracle worker.. patient, kind and knowledgable, he is truly a rare breed.
Becky Smith: Dr. Chan knows what he is doing when it comes to Lyme disease. I have chronic neurological Lyme. For 2 years I was seeing a LL doctor in Seattle, who was great but was missing some very important things when it came to my treatment. When I came in to see Dr. Chan he was able to put the puzzle pieces together for me and I am finally on my way towards a remission after 8 years of being ill. He also does Skype and phone calls so I have been able to keep seeing him after I moved!
Elaine Crossley: Dr. Chan is very knowledgeable about my issues and extremely caring and concerned for his patient's well being.
Heather Trimble: They overcharge for shots, feel like they care more about money than individuals...

CPRI – Canadian Pain & Regenerative Institute: what do users think?
Jo-Ann Spellman: Everyone here is so wonderful they truly care and make you feel valued as a person. Very professional and take the time to answer all questions and address any concerns. I have had two procedures for chronic pain here and each time I felt safe and reassured. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Rathee and the staff. I have had chronic pain for a few years and this is the only place that has made a difference. No one else has been able to help me. Thank you everyone at CPRI.
josh nidzgorski: I’ve been fortunate enough to be cared for by the amazing team at CPRI for my fibromyalgia. All the way from diagnosis to classes for understanding pain, and supportive counselling through the transition to a life with new circumstances, they’ve been absolutely amazing. Caring, supportive, thorough, and professional. It’s a welcome change in these challenging times to find a team like Dr Rathee, Dr Hedzelek, and Dr Khalfan to help you through with patience and empathy. I’m eternally grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them at all.
Hisham Sakr: Amazing place with great MOAs and doctors. Make sure you check out the pain classes too there are lots of gold nuggets in them and it's covered by MSP. Only downside is it took 6 months from referral to get my first appointment but once you are in you are golden. Big respect to the entrepreneur running this fine ship.
Denise Stevenson: I met Dr. Cabrita several years ago with a very painful hip. She has given me treatment and advice (which I have taken to heart) that has allowed me to be perfectly mobile with minimal to no pain. With her assistance I look forward look to many more years of good mobility.
Maureen Evashkevich: This is the best care I have ever had in my life. The front staff is organized and efficient and Dr. Chawla - well I don't know what to say - he is really amazing. He is an exceptional listener and he continues to modify my treatments to address my changing needs. His treatments have significantly reduced my pain and increased my mobility. Life wouldn't be the same without him!!!
crystal dawn poe: Everyone has been amazing! They have helped my body, mind & lifestyle. I am improving because their staff and courses are excellent! CPRI's insight is invaluable! Thank you!
Mary Armstrong: My journey for pain management has been so difficult I am new to CPRI and still in the experimental stage. Having some good results and looking forward to a long relationship with CPRI
Cindy B: Amazing!!! This has been the most positive experience in the medical field I've had ever! The staff is professional, caring and understanding. Dr Mian ensures you understand prognosis, measures to help are swiftly put in place. The support is much more than just medication and this I'm grateful for. I truly feel I have complete support with this organization and I thank you kindly for what you offer people who are living with severe pain and for being there from beginning to end. I'm not alone in this.
John Hamilton: After experiencing back pain for most of my adult life I was referred to Dr. Chawla for treatment. The results have been spectacular. No back pain whatsoever! I was advised that I would probably need to repeat the procedure as needed, most probably annually. I am now 2 years out and just booking my follow up treatment. This treatment has been life changing. i am now able to be more active and pain free. Thank you so much Dr. Chawla.
Jamie Bowman: Very clean, clear COVID instructions and welcoming, professional front end staff.I met with Dr. Anderson twice and both times everything was explained clearly and I was given a clear, concise plan. I highly recommend this clinic if you need it.
Andrea Petrovic: From the first appointment, CPRI was a pleasure to deal with. Dr Ho and hisadministrative office are professional, puntcual and courteous. If allmedical offices would have been run like this office, we would have the best medical system.
Terry Dale: I am extremely happy with my visits to CPRI. I have had medical procedures done by Dr. Chawla and Dr. Orenstein. Both Doctors were very thorough and left me well informed with my options. The nursing and front desk staff are very helpful and made me feel comfortable during my appointments.
carole benner: Dr Chawla is focused and straightforward in his diagnosis explaining what he can do to hopefully help your pain. It’s easy to tell his level of expertise is of its highest level. The front office staff and his nurse are friendly, efficient and caring.
Simon G: *Take caution committing to extended services*I've had a few experiences with some of the services offered at the clinic. Dr. Ho has been of assistance in trying to manage a pain condition in my back and shoulder. I had an ultrasound guided steroid injection into my shoulder for a more recent injury that has been also headed in the direction of chronic pain. For some of the recommended treatments, I was referred to services in the CPRI clinic which I find to be expensive compared to other practitioners in Vancouver, which is problematic for me in terms of affordability. However my medical insurance covered some consultations with the clinic psychologist billed at $250 per hour. Although I felt that I was getting some benefit from the first few consultations, there were some administrative issues that derailed the treatment. There was a problem with getting me the correct resources for documenting required information for my treatment program, namely a sleep diary. Before each of my appointments I was sent questionnaires by email to fill out shortly before the appointment time which was really stressful to try and do while transiting to the location to not be late. The staff told me that they were not even required or looked at and to ignore the questionnaires sent out in the future...For my last appointment I went to the clinic checked in and sat down in the lobby for 15 minutes before being informed that there had been a family emergency and all the scheduled appointments were canceled. Although I am very sympathetic to an unexpected emergency, I am not as sympathetic to how it was handled. There was a failure to inform me of the cancelled appointment in a timely manner. Further, my insurance benefits reset shortly after the appointment which means that the benefit allowance I had saved for it went completely unused. I got the same useless questionnaire request by email before the appointment. I put so much effort into the homework tasks I had been given, as well as making a proper sleep diary after there had been issues in getting the proper papers for recording one.It was extremely dissapointing to have three appointments in a row where I was unable to properly review the sleep diary that had been assigned from the very first consultation. I've decided to not continue treatment and I wouldn't recommend the clinic's extended services to anyone.I'm happy with the services from Dr. Ho but it is problematic to be referred to the in-house services when it comes to treatments. I would advise caution or looking up alternate recommendations online before booking any extended service appointments not covered by MSP
Frank Mackleston: Went to CPRI with low back pain which has troubled me for about 40yrs.I saw 2 doctors who did a physical exam and referred me to Dr. Mian. After a meeting and exam with him he suggested a fluoroscopic guided series of injections to determine the site of the pain.several hours after the procedure done by Dr. Mian and an associate I found myself free of back pain after all these years.Whilst this procedure was diagnostic in nature I have no doubt CPRI/Dr. Mian will succeed in making this fantastic result longer lasting.
Jenn B: Dr. Mian is extremely knowledgeable & clearly laid out a path to help my persistent pain. I had a procedure for nerve root block and epidural steroid injection then a week after I didn’t feel any pain, some days are slight only but manageable. So far it made my life easier doing things I couldn’t do before or without experiencing pain at all. Highly recommended this clinic.
Windsor Duke: Professional, thorough and very understanding of my needs.
Liam Gallagher: Polite & knowledgeable staff, speedy bookings. Had a good experience with Dr. Ho.
Ken Paget: dear staff , admin.I really want to express my thanks to the people who help make it all work. at your establishment.one can feel the professional couteous and caring vibrations when one first walks into your reception area.i do not have to patronize anyone, at all.but this .......( the professional caring vibrations and the service displayed to a client in pain ) ....... is a fact.ken
Jeff Milani: They changed my life ! Highly recommend
Gordon Reid: Very helpful staff and good personal education opportunities.

BC Women’s Hospital: what do users think?
Steve Kasica: Both of our kids were delivered here, 10/10 would recommend again.
Bonkowskiart: The staff are excellent and most of the facility seems nice but SWEET BABY MOSES! The arbutus wing is trash. 3rd world hospital conditions. Apparently at this hospital 70 % of births here are done by c-section those who endure that hardship go to a recovery ward in the tiniest rooms all ghetto trashed with violent toilets. New father's like me have to sleep on the floor and some of the rooms have windows into hallways?? Please rebuild this wing.
Samantha McIntosh: I had a procedure done here recently and the staff in the surgical unit were amazing. I was an anxious mess and they were all so friendly and made me feel so at ease. I’ve never seen a group of staff so calm that treat you like a human and not just a patient they need to get in and out. They also made sure I had the right next steps and medications I needed to be as pain-free as possible. I have absolutely zero complaints.
Gabrielle Cholette: The nursing staff is incredibly supportive and attentive. They were kind and informative. The Dr. was effective and very good at his job but a little bit cold. Overall, would highly recommend this clinic to other women.
mafe garmon: Kind Emergency staff , doctor, nurses and triage. Thanks
Obie O: Weird vibe
OneFiveThreeSixTwoFour VR6: Wonderful place to give birth however I've had 2 bad experiences during my first and third birth. I don't want to sound sexist but the first lady who was trying to give me an epidural in 2008, told me to sit still and shut up or she wont be able to give the epidural.. I was shaking in fear as it was my first birth at just 20 years old... the nurse handling my premature baby was very rough... very bad experience. 3rd birth in 2020, the doctor on call which was also a woman, wasn't compassionate at all. She was annoyed... and told me to go home as there was nothing she could do. I had an emergency c section 2 days later...... 1st lady was blonde, nurse was east Indian and the last was Chinese... I never liked Chinese doctors. No compassion or any bedside manners. (I am Chinese so I'm very aware of how our culture is despite what white people say)Anyways, I've held in my experience long enough and I feel much better.
Sergei Lenkov: I would say first that all the nurses and doctors were very professional and caring and this is the most important thing you are looking for when you and your partner are about to have a baby. Special thanks to nurse Ling for detailed explanation on how to properly do the breastfeeding to my wife! They also gave us an extra day to stay for my wife to recover from unplanned urgent surgery - made a difference. She was also provided with food and all necessities for her and our baby. The building itself is in good condition, all the equipment was modern and had everything that might be needed. You can also buy a meal and/or coffee at the cafeteria or buffet if you're hungry. The minor things to improve are a lack of place to sleep for father in the room (had to sleep on mattress on the floor - although I did not care after 24 hours of no sleep), waiting for anesthesia an hour extra cause anesthesiologists were busy and waiting for urgent surgery cause there was another more serious surgery going on (still my wife was constantly checked on her condition)...But all in all, everything went good and our experience was very positive and I would recommend the place for meeting with your baby!
marcos almeida: My wife arrived at the hospital pregnant (8 weeks), bleeding, and they told us there was no available ultrasound. Guess what? The doctor said:” the ultrasound team will call you through the next week and book a day for you to take the ultrasound.” This is unbelievable and unacceptable! Because she was bleeding on the weekend, we must wait until Monday. I’m wondering how this place which called itself a woman hospital, does not have an ultrasound for pregnant available for emergencies? It's reasonable and more than necessary an improvement for them.
Jasmine Carlson: I had day surgery today and every single staff member that I interacted with were so so lovely. I have never had such a calm time at the hospital, everyone really helped me not feel anxious in the slightest even having an IV in which is a huge phobia of mine went smoothly and didn’t cause me anxiety like it usually does. There was even a dog that came to say hi beforehand which was so great for calming any anxiety I was having. I had anxiety when I got to the hospital but by the time I went into the OR all of that anxiety was completely gone. 10/10 staff ☺️
Marcia Matchett: The best I have ever been treated and I finally feel Amazing after years of struggling.
Deniz Soykurum Çetin: I have had mammograms and biopsies at this hospital. The doctors, operators, nurses, and anyone working here is lovely and caring. They explain everything, they make you comfortable. Best care. Always grateful.
Gail Latowski: If you are just getting a Covid test and not pregnant or you don’t work in health care don’t go to this clinic. They will send you to 1290 Homer St. and now you have to pay for the test- $45. or $65. depending on what you are getting.
Megan: We received OUTSTANDING care, attention and guidance throughout the delivery of our first baby at BC Women's Hospital. Thank you to Dr. Rosengarten, Dr. Wong and all the maternity nurses and support staff. Absolutely fantastic health care teams at this hospital!
Enzo Guo: Great Doctors and Nurses, but the tiny parking stall is annoying, almost guaranteed door ding. I got a Tesla and I can tell people are being very careful but however I still got door ding on both side.
David Howell: I just wish I could give BC Women's Hospital 10/5 stars. The staff were down right incredible for the birth of our first child. Can't imagine that experience without them.
RobJamie Lee: We had an AMAZING experience delivering at BC Women's. This was our 2nd child but first time delivering at BCW. EVERY nurse we worked with were pleasant and professional. Everything was organized and we felt were were under the best care possible. We were also pleasantly surprised how good of the food was and how we get to pick what we'd like. We are so grateful to have the opportunity to stay at BCW this time. THANK YOU BC Women's and the entire team we are so grateful for you.
Kevin Cooper: My wife had 3 beautiful and healthy babies here and our experiences were absolutely wonderful and perfect. Especially considering babies 2 and 3 were twins! (Thank you, Dr. Blumenthal). Thumbs up!
Muffet: born here
Kim J: Please investigate well enough for the case, recent accident, the loss of 2 persons, a mom and baby.
Rodolf Bugaci: The c-section doctors were excellent and Dr.Lyons with her group were amazing but the nurses at the Arbutus recovery room were horrible. They mad my wife and me feel very uncomfortable. Kate and Jen secretly kept asking my wife regarding her personal life at home and if there is domestic violence when there was no apparent reason to do so. When confronted, the nurse in charge Jen, said that there is no reason for all the interrogation and that it is just standard procedure but it did not feel like standard procedure. My wife does not even want to come to this hospital for future pregnancies. Our stay was uncomfortable and filled with assumptions and accusation. The nurses do not change baby diapers even when wife is alone and still recovering. They did not bathe our baby at all even after 24 hours. The rooms are the worst I have ever seen in my life, no one has come to clean the room, floors are sticky, walls are damaged, very disgusting and dirty. No actual couch or bed for husband to sleep on No hygiene control what so ever. Worst experience ever. Will file a formal complain with the department as well and will be contacting CBC news so that everyone in the lower mainland is aware as well. Whatever you do, never accept to recover in the Arbutus wing.

LifeAgain Musculoskeletal Pain Clinic: what do users think?
Paul M: To steal a scene from The Office:The dictionary defines superlative as: of the highest kind, quality, or order; surpassing all else, or others - supreme. I define it as Dr. Pamela Squire. As a physician, friend, and human. She is of the highest kind, quality, and order. Supreme.
Michelle Alderton: I am extremely grateful for the long awaited therapy I am receiving from Dr. Pamela Squire. She is finally getting to the roots of my problems, after years of suffering with chronic pain. She is empathic, kind, very knowledgeable and professional. She really does live up to her slogan ‘life again’ - wanting people to be alive while they are living!!
Monica Van Rinnes Van Duvenode: I have been Dr Squires client for 5 years she has impacted the quality of my life profoundly . I am able to function and live a Life without suffering .She is an EXCEPTIONAL Dr , Human Being , and the world of pain management is a better place with her in it . words cannot describe my deepest gratitude for the life i have
Jeremy Willis: Dr Squire is not only incredibly knowledgeable and competent, she is also very good at explaining how/what she will do and what to expect. I have had to deal with a number of doctors with regards to my issues, she is the first to actively HELP and provide relief. Best ever.
Stephanie Parrish: Dr. Squire is incredible. She brings so much knowledge to the table and is always searching for new and better answers. I have seen many doctors who, after failing to find a fix for my problems, blame me or my body for not fitting into their specialty. Dr. Squire is one of the only specialists who validates my pain, my body's reactions and my condition, and uses these as motivation in her search for answers. After trying several types of therapies with her, we have found one that is helping me immensely. I am so grateful to her for giving me a reason to feel hope and excitement in my ongoing recovery - one that has left me feeling hopeless for over 10 years. I cannot say enough good things about her.In summary, on a scale of 1 to 10, She is an 11.
Mags A.: Dr. Squire is a very caring and extremely knowledgeable doctor. I always feel very at ease in Dr. Squire's care, as she talks me through the procedures, provides me with information on what may be causing my pain, and explains each step of her treatment plan clearly. I also feel that she takes time to really listen to her patients, and doesn't rush the appointment. Dr. Squire's MOA Jennifer is also truly an amazing and caring person, who I look forward to seeing every time I visit the office. Jen really keeps the place running! Thank you to Dr. Squire and Jennifer for your amazing service.
Pat Weston: There is no more caring Doctor, or human, that I am privileged to know. Besides making me scream - from those deep massages - she expertly uses those deep injections, to make me feel - and function - "almost normally" for a few, very special weeks.Thank you Dr Squire for being a great physician, and a caring human being. Your kindness, beyond your practice, was greatly appreciated. 💝
Meg Turlin: I have permanent injuries & pain issues & have been treated by a team of specialists for years. None has the knowledge, technology, or skill-set Dr. Squire has (or her compassion). As painful (downright torturous) as many of the treatments are, I would not be so high functioning, have the quality of life, or even my business to the degree I do, without them - or her. She's the one procedural pain doc I could not get by without. Life changing.
David Marlatt: Dr Squire is a very well informed pain specialist and has helped me when others couldn't I am very grateful for her help thankyou
S & V Sra: Wonderful and caring practitioner. She takes the time to understand you and your pain and what will work best for you. Truly an amazing doctor, I don't know how I would have dealt with pain without her treatment. If you have to wait to see her, it is well worth waiting.

Aumakua Integrated Wellness Clinic: what do users think?
Patricia Diefenbach: Dr Natalie's skillsets are phenomenal. She is so quick to discern the underlying source of a person's issues at large. Her depth of knowledge, wisdom, and perception as well as her ability to provide viable solutions is non-pareil!
Sara Stevens: I recently had an educational consultation with Dr. Amber for some gut issues my daughter has been experiencing. Leading up to the appointment after getting her lab results, I had so much frustration and confusion about how to move forward with the lack of information I was finding from my research and from our providers. The amount of information I received from Dr. Amber was astounding! She is a wealth of knowledge and she conveys it in a manner that is understandable. The amount of peace and hope I felt following the appointment is well worth the money I spent. I wish we lived in Canada so we could not only utilize the educational consultations, but become her patients! I will definitely be utilizing the educational consultations in the future for my entire family. I am so thankful I found Aumakua and Dr. Amber. Thank you for the life changing work you are all doing!
Laura O'Neill: Dr Alea Bell has been our family Naturopath for a few years now. She has been an invaluable part of our family's health and wellness. She has helped me navigate some serious health issues with tremendous patience, kindness and wealth of knowledge. Where Allopathic medicine has failed to help me she was able to help me recover my health from a serious auto immune disease - Hashimoto's. Additionally, any time I have had to engage with the mainstream medical system she has given me Naturopathic knowledge and support to balance the effects of Allopathic Medicine. I am a cancer patient and she is very familiar with the journey and has helped me navigate recovery. Ordering my supplements has been so easy with her online dispensary. Our video consultations are great ! I love that I don't have to travel. Thank you Dr Bell !!! And thank you Aumakua Integrated Wellness Clinic Staff, they have been so helpful, communicative and flexible with my needs. Thank you !
Jennifer Chung: Dr Alea Bell is amazing. She is a naturopathic physician who I sought out for guidance regarding my thyroid and gut health. She is a great listener. She is patient, kind, and easy to talk to.Dr Bell is very knowledgeable and explains things so they are easy to understand and follow. Her recommendations are manageable and achievable. At the end of my appointment, I felt empowered and encouraged to take better care of my body.I highly recommend her to my family and friends.Thank you, Dr Bell!
Lauren Box: I have been working with Dr. Bell remotely for a number of months now and I am so grateful for her knowledge and support. Not only, can you tell that she genuinely wants to see you happy and healthy but she knows how to get you there! Investing in my health (although expensive) is the best thing I have ever done for myself, my family, and the quality of life I want to live. I would highly recommend her. Thank you Dr. Bell, you've changed my world.
Ashlynn Page: Prices are absolutely ABSURD compared to other offices in Vancouver. Way to make healing almost impossible for a majority of people in this city especially with the cost of living right now. Should be ashamed of yourselves.
Terri John: I started having issues with my gut a year and a half ago. I was in and out of the hospital and treated for gastritis eventually. It helped a little but then just progressively got worse again. I then researched alternative options and found myself looking for a naturopathic doctor. I found Dr.Alea Bell at Aumakua and she has changed my life! Her knowledge around women’s health and gut issues is incredible. She has and continues to help me work through what was just an overload of bad bacteria in my gut. She has continued to provide supplement support for me moving forward and is super attentive and caring. I instantly started to feel better once I started her course of treatment. She truly is the best! Thanks Dr.Bell! ✨
Sarah Groenewoud: Aumakua has truly been life changing for me! It is so nice to have doctors that listen to your concerns and help you navigate your ever changing body. It’s so refreshing to be heard and have a plan of action. Women’s health has been brushed aside for to long and Aumakua is truly revolutionary! I feel so lucky to have found this place!
Tim Barnsley: I had an excellent experience with the naturopathic doctor at Aumakua Clinic. I was referred to Dr Sereda and my first appointment was detailed and addressed my issues concisely. I continued with the testing which was a simple mail in process and then had a follow up appointment that gave me an in depth plan of treatment. Overall the care was excellent and I would highly recommend them for naturopathic treatment.
Tina Wong: I feel very scammed by the place. My partner went to this place with a serious health issue they said they would be able to help with. We spent close to $600 on the first session alone. They made my partner purchase a couple testing products they said my partner would need to take. After double checking a few days later with the naturopath if one of the products was safe to take with my partners health issue, the naturopath told us on second thought, no, not to take the product after all because it might conflict with their health issue. No refund was offered to us for the testing product my partner was sold and then told it was unsafe for my partner to use.We were instead told perhaps in the future if my partners health improved it might be possible to use the product they sold us.When we later emailed to follow up about this, we were just ignored. The product we were sold was close to a $100, was sealed and unused, we eventually had to just throw it away. They basically provided us with little to no follow up regarding the other test product my partner was allowed to take. For my partner’s second appointment, which was also their last session, my partner saw a different naturopath at this clinic because the first naturopath went on leave. My partner was told the new naturopath would be informed with every detail of their initial appointment.Unfortunately, the new naturopath was completely uninformed of the initial session and we spent the second session reproviding the information given during the first session. We were charged for this second session, which was just a waste of everyone’s time. The new naturopath had no understanding at all of my partners health issue. We specifically picked the initial naturopath based on what we read on her. We put our trust in her and we are very disappointed in this clinic. After the second session, we consulted my partners specialist and he suggested we discontinue seeing this naturopath.
p p: Amazing, I thought it might be weird seeing a Doctor via video but it is very convenient. Dr Amber has been great to work with.I would highly recommend!Curtisha who sends you all the links for zoom, req orders is wonderful to deal with as well.
Gretchen Martin: Dr. Amy was recommended to me by my chiropractor for care for my children; 1 and 3 at the time. We had seen a litany of specialists and MD's who had not been able to help resolve issues such as sever eczema, allergic shiners, mood/behavioural issues I suspected were associated with allergies or sensitivities. Within our first appointment she had a succinct plan for both my boys and through some GI testing and blood work we quickly pinpointed some major issues and precisely how to treat them! Such a gift! Endlessly grateful for this talented woman and whole team at Aumakua who has supported my family in so many ways. Cannot recommend highly enough
Michelle Perry: My appointment with Dr Dominique has turned out to be one of the most positive health changing things I have ever done! I live in Germany so only could get one appointment with her whilst on a business trip to Vancouver a few months ago, but it was the absolute best decision I've ever made for my health. Dr Dom is one of the most intuitive, empathic, kindest people I have ever met, and she brings all of these qualities and her vast knowledge to every one of her patients in her practice. She is committed to really helping people heal. I absolutely trust her and her knowledge, and give her and her staff my highest recommendation.
Verônica Dantas: My experience at Aumakua Clinic could not be better. Since the first phone call I made to them, everyone in the clinic treated me with kindness and attention that made me feel welcomed every single time. Dr. Rochelle and Dr. Brittany are incredibly knowledgeable and were willing to listen to all my concerns. Based on my tests, they helped me to understand my overall health state and what I needed to do in order to achieve my health goals. Also, the two receptionists Alice and Adelina were very nice in all our interactions! I am very pleased with the treatment I received and recommend this clinic without a doubt!
Steffeny: I’ve been seeing Dr Amber Sereda for about 3 years now. She is always super supportive and comforting. She is so knowledgeable and has helped me through quite a few issues such as immune system and gut issues.
JS S: I’ve been seeing Dr. Amber since last summer for SIBO treatment. She is amazing! My gut was a mess after years of PPI’s, antibiotics and poor diet. Dr. Amber has taken me through the steps to heal my gut and chronic constipation and always takes the time to explain things. She is very knowledgeable and I’m so happy to have found her. (Kathleen S.)
Melina T.: I have been coming to Aumakua for a few years now. I am so grateful for being introduced to Dr. Natalie and her team. Since the very beginning I have received great support in my path towards healthy living from Dr. Natalie, helpful tools and plans towards going vegetarian and now plant based, making sure I am receiving the right nutrients and supplements to support what my body needs. I have seen many positive changes since coming to Aumakua and I have learned so many things about my body and health. I highly recommend this clinic! Great staff, welcoming, very sincere, kind.. the list goes on.. I always look forward to my sessions with Dr.Natalie!
Mélanie Katcher: Dr. Rochelle has been such an integral part of my health journey! Not only is she insightful, caring and nurturing, her ongoing support and her genuine excitement when noticing each and every little wins, have definitely motivate me to stay on track and always prioritize my health. And what to say about Adelina and Brittney (?) at the front desk - they always greet you with the biggest smile and make it a point to use the patient's name in any interaction they get which definitely makes you feel very valued - you literally just feel like you're walking into your best friend’s house.I highly recommend Aumakua Integrated Wellness Clinic!
Dagmar Zanic: I’ve been seeing Nat for many years. I had serious UTI problems since I was a teenager and have tried to resolve them using conventional medicine and a variety of alternative medicine options. Nothing worked. Finally, after more than 20 years, I came to see Nat and she helped me beat it! It has been 3 years and I still cannot believe I am healed! Nat is an amazing, caring, extremely knowledgeable angel and I am forever grateful to have her in my life!
Elika Hoshyar: Going to visit Dr. Amber Sereda was one of the best decisions I have made. I went to her with digestive issues and within a few days of following her plan I was feeling so much better. Today I feel a 100%.
Diana Matrick: Aumakua is fabulous and I highly recommend Dr. Amber Sereda! She has helped me with my various health issues of thyroid, gut, heavy metals and just basic wellness. She's an amazing listener and has your best interests at heart. I also get immune IV's and chelation IV for the removal of my heavy metals. I'm so grateful to Dr. Sereda and the amazing staff Adelina and Alice! Thank you very much for helping achieve my goals!

Integrative Naturopathic Medical Centre: what do users think?
Lisa: I had the pleasure of receiving both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Naturopathic care for many years from Dr. Lawrence Chan and Dr. Karen Lam at Integrative Naturopathic Medical Centre. Although it took me some time to write this review, I'm thrilled to finally share my experience.Upon entering the clinic, I immediately felt at ease and welcomed. Both Dr. Chan and Dr. Lam took the time to attentively listen to my concerns and understand my health history, which instilled confidence in their expertise. Their gentle yet effective treatments, including acupuncture and chiropractic care, were customized to my specific needs, and I noticed significant improvements in my overall health and well-being after just a few visits. One of the most admirable qualities of Dr. Chan and Dr. Lam is their extensive knowledge and willingness to explain the details of their treatments. They take a holistic approach to health and wellness, and their passion for their work truly shines through in every interaction.I highly recommend Dr. Lawrence Chan and Dr. Karen Lam to anyone seeking exceptional TCM and Naturopathic care. Their kindness, expertise, and unwavering dedication to their patients make them truly stand out in their field. If you're looking for healthcare providers who prioritize your wellbeing, look no further than Integrative Naturopathic Medical Centre.
Ciaran Henderson: Hand down the best Naturopath I have consulted with. I have chronic lyme disease and recently had a case of vitamin b6 toxicity and Dr. Alex Chan has been amazing.I am a firm believer that working with a doctor is a two way street and Dr. Chan listens to everything I say and gives really good advice and recommendations for me.I would highly recommend this clinic.
tlee996: Great place especially if you are looking to see what vitamins you are low on. Only things is that the blood works is expensive and you have to wait 2 week for the results
L W: Reception is not good at all. They can't get things right and can't even do the basics of providing receipts when they are supposed to. They also have a really bad cancellation policy. They expect you to work within their terms and don't care about their customers or understand what a good customer experience is. They keep selling you supplements and you're not sure whether you even need it which is really not good...though you don't know what is really true. It takes a REALLY long time to get responses from the doctors and you have to continually chase them to get a response. The doctors are not specific when giving out info to clients which means you have to email them if you want answers and then wait and wait and wait and not get a response. Their cancellation policy is bad as you have to remember which sat they are closed. Sad as they are unwilling to listen to client feedback and change. really poor.
Gary McCuaig: I have been seeing Dr Chan for many years. I wish I could find a medical doctor who was even half as good !
Nancy M. Noso: Best place to go to get your health better!
Sinica H: I have had pretty bad gut issues for the past 5 years or so, which steadily worsened over time. The many family doctors and specialists were not helpful and made me feel more hopeless and upset about my situation.I have been seeing Dr. Taylor Green for a little over two years now (note I don’t write reviews too often unless an experience was either exceptionally positive or negative). Dr. Green and the team at integrative have been wonderful for me in my journey of healing my gut and starting work with me at a point where I was very distrustful towards health professionals. Dr. Green was always very kind and patient through the ups and downs of the process, and always attentive and validating of my concerns, as well as giving her expert guidance while taking my opinions into account. She always went above and beyond in terms of giving her care, attention and time. When some treatments didn’t work as expected initially, she was flexible and able to provide other avenues of treatment which turned out to be very effective! At first when I started going to see her I wasn’t sure how many sessions I would have mostly just due to cost. However, I quickly saw the high value of having a skilled and empathetic clinician such as Dr. Green in working through chronic health issues. My health hasn’t been in such a good place for years as it is now thanks to Dr. Green’s work with me. I am so thankful for her and that I chose integrative. Highly highly recommend this place.
Wendy Issa: My go to place for IV detox and great naturopathy treatments
coolman11013: They offer very unique treatments based on your individual needs and very informative about their services. Would highly recommend to all my family and friends
L. B.: Called the clinic to make an appointment, the receptionist was kind of short with me and said to email them. Then I emailed, and they gave me a phone number to call. I called during the times they indicated and no one picked up. I left a voicemail and was never called back. Very disappointed!
Angel W: This is one of the worst clinics if you actually want to improve your condition. I booked 3 months in advance just to see the doctor for July 2021. Right now it's November and I still haven't been able to see him for the second time because they are always fully booked months in advance. (I did book in advance but they cancelled my appointment on that day after waiting months because he was taking that day off all of a sudden). If you want to take 20 years to fix your condition, then feel free to come to this clinic. This clinic takes forever for anything and when I asked for a refund because I spent so much money without getting any feedback on my condition, they simply said that it's not possible. I'm not sure why they have such high reviews.
Tyler Lee: I called the clinic to make an appointment for a first time visit to see a Naturopath. The receptionist said she would email me the proper client forms. The forms never came. I had to make 3 phone calls to finally get the form emailed to me. The receptionist spelled my email wrong. Then I got home from work to hear a message stating - "if we don't receive your forms, your appointment will be cancelled." Very disorganized and poorly managed. If it takes 3 phone calls for me to get one email - what the heck is the problem! Not impressed!
Rita Moldovanos: I have received really great care here. I have seen a few naturalpaths here and they all have been great. They discovered some things with my health that no one else was able to. Highly recommend them.
N C: I am well from a medium-severe traumatic brain injury because of the help of Eric Posen and the exceptional teams of admin and pharmacy staff. Larry Chan is also excellent for knees, ankles, backs etc!Eric Posen is an internal medicine and brain injury and allergy expert.
Arleigh Fair: Been a client at integrative for 29 years, Doctor Posen has been unbelievable in his care giving over those yrs,He is retiring & I'm going to miss him greatly, All the best Eric.arleigh
Marisa P: Very happy with my IV treatment and Prp therapy for my hair loss. Friendly staff and great patient care !
Brita Unger: Dr. Katie Leah is absolutely amazing as a doctor and as a person. She is incredibly caring and kind and has made a huge impact on my life. I have dealt with awful migraines, TMJ pain, skin issues and very bad tinnitus for years. She has helped me so much with this I can't thank her enough!
Tammy Brimner: I have been seeing Dr. Katie Leah at Integrative Naturopathic Medical Centre for a number of years now. The setting is serene and the staff are friendly.
Nova Tregaskis: I love this clinic so much. Dr Leah is an incredible naturopath. She has changed my life for the better with her treatments for my health and wellness. You won’t regret visiting here!
SH L: Thank you for following up with me.
Zana Mody: I booked an appointment with this clinic for naturopathic treatment with Dr.Chan based from all the good reviews - I got an appointment two months later than when I called, but I was okay with it due to covid-19 and all the medical processes taking time. However, a week before my scheduled appointment, I received a call and was charged for $50 for a missed appointment! I still have the email, and a voice message on my phone stating the original time that I had booked in advance two months ago. My partner was shocked too since he was there when I called the office to book the appointment originally and remembers it being scheduled not at the time the office charged me for.The appointment they "claimed I booked" was on a day I was scheduled to be away from Vancouver, so I would have never booked that time - their receptionist wrongly scheduled me for an appointment in their system and then charged me for their error. No where on their website does it state that you will be charged $50 for "missed appointments" i.e. scheduling errors by Integrative's staff.Terrible service and a disorganized reception that resulted in hidden fees for an error on their part. Stay away and go with a naturopathic office that knows how to use a calendar.

CHANGEpain Clinic: what do users think?
Sylvana Babcock: As someone who suffers from chronic pain, I had hoped to find relief and support through your services. However, my encounter left me feeling let down and concerned about the approach taken by the doctor I saw.Firstly, I was disheartened by the location of the clinic, which was situated in a basement. The lack of proper facilities and natural light had a negative impact on the overall ambiance and atmosphere of the clinic. It made me question the professionalism and quality of care provided.Furthermore, the doctor I consulted with made several false promises that left me feeling uneasy. Instead of taking the time to thoroughly assess my medical history and condition, he immediately suggested an experimental drug that had potential risks and uncertainties associated with it. This hasty recommendation without a proper understanding of my specific needs and concerns raised red flags regarding the doctor's judgment and commitment to patient well-being.Additionally, I was disappointed to learn that the doctor seemed more interested in up selling expensive therapies, such as Prolo Therapy, rather than tailoring a treatment plan based on my individual circumstances. The lack of personalized care and consideration for my financial constraints further diminished my trust in the clinic's approach and motives.Overall, my experience at your clinic was far from satisfactory. As a patient seeking relief and genuine care, I expected a more compassionate and evidence-based approach. The lack of attention to my medical history, the promotion of potentially risky treatments, and the focus on profit rather than patient well-being have left me feeling discouraged and hesitant to continue seeking treatment at this facility.
Dexter Pratt: This is the worst clinic that I have ever been to. They don't do a thorough investigation on the patient. They recommend treatments without knowing the full history of the patient. This laziness could put the patient into great danger. It is an in and out operation so the doctors can make quick money, Their primary objective is to give you costly treatments and put more money in their pocket.
Belinda H: Change pain changed the pain by making it so much worse...
Paul Grobler: Very good help for me
catherine pham: I forget the name of the doctor but she introduced me to the "curable" app and it has changed my life. After seeing the first doctor, I requested immediately to change doctors and thank god I did because she cared more about the brain. if you want to heal the pain, heal the brain!
Rae-Lynne Scott: Impossible to talk to someone. Left message nobody calls you back.
Reddit Philippines: I was booked an appointment with Dr. Mahal for 1:15 and unfortunately she was unable to see me due to unknown reasons. I had to reschedule my appointment with a different physician for a later date. Hopefully my next appointment is better.
Anne McLean: Staff were friendly and helpful during treatments but the intake process was disheartening.I had a referral submitted to this clinic and waited weeks to hear back. I decided to call them and learned my referral had been lost. Nothing had been processed and the weeks of waiting had been for nothing. My referral was then processed and I was given an appointment for 10 weeks later. I asked to be on the cancellation waiting list as at that point I was desperate and frustrated.I did not hear back about any cancellations but after my initial experience I decided I should phone and check, just in case. I learned there was a cancellation, only a week earlier than my original appointment but I would have appreciated being informed, considering my circumstances.I rescheduled to the earlier appointment that I had learned about. Some time later I was told my appointment had to be rescheduled to a date that was even later than my original one. So, I had shot myself in the foot by trying to get in earlier. The intake process here was easily the most discouraging of any I have experienced. Ketamine treatments for depression can rapidly reduce suicidal thinking so time is of the essence.
Jayden Hartigan: Dr botteon and the crew there have gone above and beyond to help with my chronic pain. I could not recommend dr.botteon enough, very professional and caring of his patients.
brennan clarahan: Great treatments here for low back. Started my healing process with the deep needle treatment.
Paula Ewaski: Without this clinic I wouldn't of been walking waiting for my knee surgeries. The tpi injections were what kept me walking, till I had my surgeries. Now we work on my lumbar spinal stenosis
J L: $2,900.00 for one dose not covered by MSP means only the rich can afford this treatment. Very sad for anyone who is not wealthy. If you get it done at the hospital its covered by MSP and the cost charged to MSP by the hospital is a tiny fraction of this.
Raf Simon: Had the pleasure of seeing Dr Rite, Leroy, and Ashleigh for chrio, physio, and kinesiology. They were very skilled and knowledgable!
Kyla: Doctor recommended band-aid procedures without doing any diagnostics to identify the root cause of my issue. Told me there was no point trying to see any of their in-house practitioners (physio, kinesiology, etc.) because the wait is so long.
Michael Rebak: A wonderful place of care and healing. Above and beyond what is typically offered in Public Health, ChangePain’s dedicated and integrated team offers what few, if any can. They have a wide variety of treatment options to fit your needs, and work within MSP and/or private pay options as your situation allows to maximise the available options and treatment modalities.I highly recommend ChangePain and their team if you have new or chronic pain. They have changed my life significantly and I am forever grateful.Thank you Dr. Lau and the rest of the ChangePain team
Capri633: The people at this clinic bend over backwards to help patients. Dr. Lem is an amazing doctor, patient, kind, and crazy smart. If you are willing to take doctors' advice, you will walk out better off than when you came in.
Angela Chiu: Dr. Ilana Winrob is not helpful at all. Talks a lot but no real help. Most of their services are not covered by MSP, except an appointment with GP, based on her information. Very frustrated. Don't recommend this clinic. The same medical treatment such as knee injection can be done by your family doctor. Don't waist your time!
Cassie Sutherland: My time at Change Pain has been my single most positive healthcare experience, yet. I've felt heard, respected, and trusted in my understanding of my body. I'm incredibly grateful for their dedication and expertise; they've truly listened, and have gone the extra mile to provide consistent care. Very grateful for all the staff in each of their roles, and for my with time with the clinic.
Dewey Readmore: They ended my 15 year struggle with pain. They saved my life.
A: I assume Changepain pads their reviews, because this clinic is far worse than its reviews imply.Firstly, they are experts at wasting your time. When they aren’t hours behind schedule, they’re spending half your appointment explaining vague ideas that they have already told you before. Dr. Malcolm Botteon would do just this while literally jumping back and forth across the room while explaining, treating me like a child. He would also make me wait an hour after my scheduled time to tell me information in both amount and importance that were better suited for a short email or call. If they are truly so busy, it is Changepain’s responsibility to hire enough employees, space their appointments well, and be efficient with their time, but they refuse to for one simple reason that I will elaborate on later: money. There are also the five session courses they force you to take. I told my doctors at Changepain that I was already informed on the course topics, even reading the outlines and saying that I knew everything on them. Even so, Dr. Botteon called me uneducated and made sure I signed up for them. As expected, they did nothing for me except waste my time.In the end, I would’ve been alright with my lost time if Changepain gave a thoughtful and helpful approach to health struggles, but this simply isn't the case. I had received hundreds of trigger point injections in the past with no success, yet they still were convinced that this method would solve my pain. Unsurprisingly, it didn’t. My pain only worsened. From reading other reviews too, it seems like the doctors here simply ask where you hurt and stick needles there, expecting improvement. There is no individualistic, thoughtful approach. Just a one size fits all plan that they hype up to give false hope to patients. One time, I came with a family member, and Dr. Botteon had the audacity to tell them that my pain treatments were going successfully when I had explicitly said otherwise. Other times, my doctor would forget about treatments they had planned or quickly move on from a treatment as soon as I expressed even a little doubt, as if they knew that it wasn’t going to work and were trying to move on from getting caught. I didn’t have a single appointment at the Changepain building that didn’t feel strange or manipulative on top of being completely unhelpful. Now we get to possibly the worst part about Changepain, their motive. Despite their cheery, do-good attitude, it is my firm belief that this place exists solely to make money. This wouldn’t be terrible if they actually made their work worth the money, but it isn’t; moreover, they go out of their way to take more of your money while not improving your health. After the injections found no success, Dr. Botteon recommended ketamine infusions for thousands of dollars each time as a non-permanent solution for one of my least problematic symptoms. This seemed strange until we started asking questions. It turns out the infusions take place at Changepain, so they make money off them. Furthermore, a doctor admitted that those classes that I found no benefit from make them money too. Come to think of it, Dr. Botteon’s dancing around the room for half an hour instead of sending an email makes sense because they wouldn’t make money off of an email. Changepain treats people with real health concerns as nothing more than cash grabs.I’m sure this place does help people sometimes, and I’m sure that not all their doctors are as terrible as Dr. Botteon. Dr. Rite, for example, I found to be fine, but even she got caught up in the almost cultish rhetoric of Changepain, and I do think ‘cultish’ is a fair word. The overly positive and repetitive phrases, apparent financial motivation, and pressure to stay despite consequences, all of it just makes me sick. This clinic is disorderly, unprofessional, arrogant, and unethical. I hope that Changepain’s staff reads this review and starts taking their patients seriously, and I hope that anyone struggling with chronic illness avoids this place unless it is their very last option.
U: I have been a patient at CHANGEpain ever since the doors opened. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have had access to some exceptional physicians at the clinic. Dr. Lau is inspiring, both as a doctor and as a person. She is amazing in her breadth of knowledge and in her persistence in trying to get to the root of complex pain problems. Dr. Rite has a very proactive approach, and her practical advice has enabled me to regain considerable functionality despite my pain. Recently, I have also benefited greatly from Dr. Berkman's care. All of these physicians are smart, helpful, and supportive. They really care, and they've never given up on me. The Group Medical Visits have been very helpful as well. I still have pain, but without CHANGEpain it would be so much worse. I am grateful.
