Simranjit Singh Bhatia: If you're in downtown Vancouver and craving some mouthwatering Shawarma and Falafel, there's one place that never disappoints. Their Spicy box is my go-to choice, not only for its vibrant assortment of flavors but also for the unbeatable freshness of their homemade falafel. Trust me, once you've tried it, you'll find yourself yearning for more. And while you're there, don't miss out on their tantalizing Havarti Jalapeño Cheese Steak or the delectable Swiss Mushroom sandwich – they're absolute must-tries. The friendly owners add to the overall charm of the place, and what's even better is that their amazing food comes at an affordable price. I wholeheartedly recommend this shop to anyone in search of a truly satisfying experience.

k e: False advertising. I ordered "Connecticut Lobster Roll" on UberEats and nothing in the description indicates that it is anything other than lobster meat. Instead it is a salty imitation meat / fish / lobster meat combination. Most expensive fake lobster roll of my life.
Mike Hsu: Hello, could you guys tell people that you are serving mostly imitation crab meat instead of calling it lobster as a deceptive business practice, people who's never had lobster in their life would think they just had lobster, instead they are just eating California roll fillings mostly. Please at least put it on your menu so people are informed, then they get to decide if they are paying money for imitation crab meat roll. For alternative do go to the Lobster Man on Granville island as they use 100% real lobster for the same price, no deception here.
Gizelle Pillay: I order from Salty’s often. One day I ordered two of their Lobster bisque from Uber eats but once it arrived it had no lobster pieces in it at all. The last time I ordered there was, so I gave them a call to ask if they no longer put lobster pieces in their bisque. They explained they were training a new employee and apologized for the inconvenience. Ashton, the owner of Salty’s was very friendly and kept in touch with me to rectify the situation. I will definitely continue to support this local business and recommend it to everyone!
Andrew Bird: Some of the most decadent food. Amazing taste. Great quality. Love the Maine roll, grilled cheese and the Mac and cheese. Always great service and great presentationKid-friendliness: Kid friendly options availableParking: 15 spots at pitt meadows food truck spot
Marco Gonzalez: Not actually lobster rolls, just imitation crab meat. Still $24 though.
Michelle Nowacki: Super tasty and very friendly people!
Ryan Mruk: Holy smokes that was good. Highly recommended. Give them a follow @saltyslobsterKid-friendliness: The grilled cheese was a great option .
Samson John Nicholas: Good choice beers and loved the Salty's Lobster sandwich! Nice ambience especially at upper level!
Craig Birks: I ordered through Uber Eats. The delivery was fast as I watch the app tracking. Unfortunately, when the food arrived (2x lobster Mac n cheese W/ lobster “bisque” side). My first disappointment was how small the $27 portion was. I was hoping it would be nice and cheesy, abundant and packed with lobster but as I looked closer I noticed that there was no actual sauce but a bunch of macaroni with little congealed cheese bumps and a meager amount of lobster looking (not lobster) scattered underneath the pasta. When I took a bite, the dish was barely luke warm and flavourless. My only thought at this point was “how can a chef allow this product to leave their kitchen”?.. then, I tried the bisque… a proper bisque should be smooth, creamy and strained. Mine was chunky, gritty and inedible. I suggest adding some corn and potatoes and calling it a chowder because that was not a bisque. In the end I poured the “bisque” over the mac so that there would be some wetness (sauce) and a hint of flavour to it. Twas still disappointed. In the end, the food ordered was so terrible that I couldn’t eat it, wasted $70+ and had to order again from somewhere elseI do not recommend going to/ordering from this establishment.
Shauna Carothers: Never thought I’d be putting a 2 rating for Saltys but here we go.. We loved the food truck in Richmond every time we had it, would give it 12 out of 10. Been craving it awhile so drive from Richmond to the East Van Brewing location. First disappointment was they had no lobster Mac and cheese or crab grilled cheese on their menu (which we thought to be the superior and more flavourful grilled cheese) which is annoying since I tried to look up their menu online and they don’t have one for that location so there’s no way to know. Then we were informed they had no bisque! I realize they had been closed for the holidays but this was mid afternoon on the 27th, no reason why it couldn’t have been prepped that morning. So all we were able to get was one lobster grilled cheese that was only ok, not as good as the truck one. 2 beers, 2 grilled cheese for $60-$70 with tip plus the cost of driving from Richmond, just not worth it. Hope the food truck comes back to Richmond as I’ll try that again but with no selections at EVB we won’t be back.
Vi Sorensen: lobster bisque is delicious. Chunks of lobster. We visited the food truck at the Port Moody location. Very friendly service. Thank you.
A L: Update: I gave this place another chance but it'll be my last time. I ordered from the brewing company location and there was literally one 2mm piece (smaller than the eraser on a pencil) of lobster in my Connecticut sandwich. I picked that sandwich apart to see if I could find any real lobster meat. I've read the owners responses to other reviews and no, there was no leg or knuckle meat to be found - everything was the imitation stuff in both look and texture. Even with inflation, if there's no actual lobster in there then paying $26 for a roll is robbery. I also got the lobster bisque again and it also only had imitation crab/lobster meat. The last time I had the bisque there was at lesst a few tiny pieces of real shelled lobster meat. Very disappointed and will have to go elsewhere when I want a lobster roll------I was super excited when they added the Connecticut roll because I don't like mayonnaise so this is an option I can eat. I only wish my lobster roll had more real lobster meat instead of the imitation meat which seemed to make up most of my sandwich. And I don't think it's a one off thing because both times I've ordered the Connecticut roll, I've had more imitation meat. I do enjoy fake crab meat when I have it in sushi, but at $23 I'm a bit disappointed. The chips are a nice addition though.
Melissa Fimognari: Love coming here, food and beer always delicious.
Olivia C: Had a similar experience to lots of reviewers where the lobster roll was mostly imitation meat. I read the replies from the owner and understand that times are tough; however, transparency would have been nice. Had we known prior to, I think we would have enjoyed it more but since we were unaware, it was not a great experience.
D G: Just wow! The best lobster roll in town. Salty's lobster rolls are some of the best I've had. Easily can feed two people :)
Russell Herrington: Since popping up on my feed I had been craving the lobster bun sandwich all summer… Unfortunately I was completely let down. No truck rather a brewery. The first server west curt, the second falsely pleasant that served water that tasted like it was filtered through a rusty strainer. Sadly the lobster sandwich I had been dreaming off was soggy, minimally seasoned and thrown in what appear to be a mid grade hotdog bun dumped on 5 rippled bbq chips… two sandwiches, no beverages $50.00+
Melody: We had the lobster roll over a year ago, there was some imitation crab(?) in it? I'd say around 70% or so was actual lobster. I was upset that the menu didn't indicate "filler". I wouldn't have bought the lobster roll if I knew. At least Joe Fortes advertises their's as lobster and shrimp roll. I just appreciate transparency.
René-Pierre Chiasson: I’m from a lobster fishing family and live in Vancouver! Been wanting to try their lobster roll for so long….disappointing as 80% of the “lobster meat” is imitation crab!! Very disappointing! Over price for a product that is so cheap…
Brianna Longest: Quick order taking and very tasty
Kayla: The food here was really good. The lobster roll was great. The lobster portions were huge & it was so fresh. The lobster bisque was delicious, however it was quite cold when it arrived. I had higher expectations for the nerds sour, but it wasn’t bad.
Chris Furanna: Lemony amazing fresh lobster on the best hoagie I have ever had, I fully recommend this place to only enjoy both the appetizers and the rolls, I guess I know now why there is no red lobster on the West Coast

Mel: Have seen this food truck around for quite some time before my husband and I decided to try it - now that we have, we will continue to be returning customers. Everything tastes amazing but our go-to is the hoisin chicken wrap. Just tried the rice box and sweet potato sticky rice with condensed milk and will definitely be ordering those items again too! Can't go wrong with anything that is on the menu and can see why they always have a steady line up of hungry folks!

Abby Nicole: Really lovely menu overall! Of the vegan options, their new chick’un is a huge winner, followed by the cauliflower. The tofu chorizo is not a hit - would be nice to replace that with the chick’un. The restaurant itself doesn’t add ambiance so I would just get take out to a park.
Arpit Gulati: This is such a hidden gem and in quite literal sense, we passed by it 2 times and we couldn't see it lol food is there is just awesome, if you are vegetarian their veggie bowl was kinda exactly same as chicken, I didn't really feel I was missing chicken. Chips with guavkc were amazing, tater tots were amazing. I did however miss Tomato ketchup with the tots, they didn't have it. But overall 10/10.

Nancy P: Came in today as a group of four and stood by the entrance for 5-10 minutes and not a single person greeted us or asked us if we wanted to be put on the waitlist. All of the staff either ignored us or glanced over and then continued serving other guests. We were the only ones waiting by the entrance, staff clearly saw that we were there wanting to dine in, and the restaurant was not even busy. We ended up leaving, very unpleasant experience.
