Fine Art Bartending School Vancouver: what do users think?
Ricky Chang: Chris is an amazing instructor. Learned so much, had so many laughs and time flew by! A fantastic place for team building, events and fun!
Lillian Wallman: It was great to learn from Chris and Zach. They were very supportive and it was obvious they wanted everyone to succeed in the class. The teaching methods really worked for me and I think the transition to working as a bartender for the first time will be much smoother because of this program.
Owen Kahn: Both instructors, Chris and Zach, were very nice and effective teachers. I think this is a great course for anyone who has no base in bartending and wants to learn about the drink making process as well as learn how to make a wide variety of cocktails.
Elodie Hewett: I had such an enjoyable experience taking this course! Chris and Zach were amazing instructors, I learned so much from both of them. I’m super excited to start working now.
The Handy Chaps: Chris was OK Zachary Daiquiri was INCREDIBLE!!! Just kidding what a great 1-2 punch for learning the essentials of bar keeping. Highly recommended for someone wanting to get into the industry, or just learn something new - for young and not so young alike.
Rochelle Fourie: Wonderful Class and Instructors. Chris and Zach were amazing!
German Alfredo Marin Orihuela: Even if you are not into whiskies, this is a must do experience at least once in your life!
Denis G.: Whiskey tasting class was amazing. Really fun plenty of variety and options. I will look differently at my next whiskey purchase
Jim Stewart: Awesome , learned alot
Neva Burns: love grants energy, i love learning about past stories so we can really get a feel for being in a working bar. i love the size of the class it is super engaging and loved coming to class!
Sir Valot: Grant is cool. Go with Grant.
Jack Goodenough: Amazing training service for those wanting to learn more about drinks, bartending, and alcohol in general! Thanks Grant!!!
Carla Roelcke: Great time! Amazing people! Had so much fun learning:)
Mr J: PerfectJust perfect
Travis Thomson: For the 32 hour certificate course: Thorough curriculum, knowledgeable and experienced instructor, fun environment. It's a lot of information (there is both theory and practical portions in this class) and can be fast paced but that's what you get when you get a job in a bar or restaurant anyways. Really great course for anyone looking to expand their knowledge or learn for the first time and for those who want to bar-tend but don't have the experience to put on a resume. I will be saving tons of money at bars thanks to this class - now I know about a hundred drink recipes that I can practice at home for myself and friends. Thank you Tieg for the excellent experience.
Jerry Hsu: 這個調酒課真的很棒 讓我短短時間學會調酒只需要3周 讓我省了很多時間 有點可惜沒辦法試味
Sarah Ayer: Had a fantastic experience with fine arts bartending! Tieg is very informative and a supportive instructor who delivers a perfect balance of information while keeping things light and fun. Couldn’t recommend the program enough, if I could I would take it again!
Jason J: Great experience. Grant and Chris were both great instructors. I would definitely recommend the course to anyone interested in bartending and cocktails!
Emma Trudel: I recently took this course and I have nothing but good things to say! In just 2 weeks the class and I successfully became certified bartenders and had a blast a long the way. The environment is relaxed, educational and fun. Both instructors Chris and Grant were fantastic, I highly recommend if you’re looking into bartending!
Simge Erem: It was an amazing experience! Both Grant and Chris are wonderful instructors. Will be back to polish my skills and say hi to them :)!!
Rose Pagnotta: Loved this course! Tieg was full of energy wirh great tips and knowledge. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband and it did not disappoint!

The Diamond: what do users think?
Ron Harris: I like it
bond skill: AIslinn was amazing ❤️ Always the best drinks in town!
Nicole Yuen: It’s shockingly hot in the small back room. No airflow on a warm day. Didn’t last more than 5 mins sadly. Staff was nice while we were there though lol
Ohad Okon: Wonderful drinks served by super knowledgeable and friendly bartenders (I sat at the bar). The atmosphere is wonderful. I had the charcuterie board and enjoyed it tremendously but if you’re hungry and want anything else I would probably say eat before then come here for drinks as (other than charcuterie) they only have snacks (appetizers). I highly recommend coming here 😊
Emi: Great cocktails, snacks and atmosphere.
Lisa Belle Lim: The cocktails are lovely, but mostly the service is so good. Our server was really kind and attentive even when it was busy and the bar gave us free shots for moving tables to let a large group come in. We really appreciated the fun atmosphere.
Pantoja: Someone should give credit to the kitchen. Everything that they do is exceptional.
C Wong: I love this place and used to frequent the bar after work. Now that my work has returned to Vancouver, I plan to go more often. Best cocktails from unassuming bartenders. Arguably one of the best bars in Gastown.
Preston Schwartz: Don't listen to Thomas.
Thomas Dodds: Thomas is the best bartender I’ve ever had. Amazing personality and so handsome.
Alejandro Hernandez: Love the cocktails! They have so many and they all taste very good!Place is nice and love the atmosphere(A bit noisy for my taste tho)Music, in my perspective, do not fit the vibe of the barI WILL COME AGAIN
Luke Schuss: My first negative review in 15 years in Vancouver! We came in after dinner for a quick cocktail. Our first server was very friendly and gave good recommendations on drinks. The drinks were nice and enjoyable.Halfway through our drinks, we noticed a couple of mice running around our feet. Not ideal, but understandable-- it's an old building in Gastown. We decided to quickly move tables to get away from the mice.Couple minutes later, our second server comes and rudely scolds us for changing tables without asking her. Normally I would've asked before moving, but given the persistence of the mice around our feet and abundance of empty tables, I figured there wouldn't be a problem. We paid our bill immediately and left. The drinks were good and the atmosphere was fun, but the second server's treatment of us was so bizarrely rude that we'll never be back.
Maffo Harlingen: Interior decor was great, cocktails were fine, but the music was too loud
Mrs P: Nice cocktails but way too loud, ambience was more like a pub, which was disappointing.
V: Sat at the bar and the tenders were top notch. Friendly and personable, with an emphasis on experience. And the experience? Bar none. Will absolutely be back to this gem 😍
Ethan McDonald: This place makes the best Old Fashioned you'll ever try. It's been a while since I visited, September 2022, to be exact. But I figured I should leave a review since I've spoken highly of this place to friends, since. On a summer evening, this is the place to be. It was very relaxing to sit by an open window on a second floor bar and watch the busy Gastown street below. Really interesting little bar, knowledgeable bartenders, and high quality drinks. Next time I'm in Vancouver I will be in a hurry to come back to this place. I've tried many cocktail bars in my days and this one is certainly one of the best in Western Canada.
Jimmy Feng: Great location and ambiance. Cocktails are reasonably priced and bartender’s definitely know what they are doing. The only downside is it seems a lot harder to get a table at this place especially with their very short timeframe to return for your table. Estimates are often very inaccurate and you don’t have enough time for you to settle up a bill somewhere else to make your way back. Pretty much have to wait and hope for the best.
Drew Brinton: Great drink mixes!
Layla Chen: MALIBU was really great$16COCONUT WASHED TANQUERAY GIN | DRY VERMOUTH | SALTED APEROL | STRAWBERRY | DILL
Audrey Aubertin: Good service by the sommelier or wine guy, good chatting with him. Wine was good. We sat at the bar but not interaction from the barman what so ever not even a “how’s your evening ladies or something” very average atmosphere. Lovely hosting staff though.
Sreekanth Banka: Not a great place. We were seated in The hideaway that had seperate menu. The drinks and food were very underwhelming.

District Bar Restaurant: what do users think?
jon hannasch: Limited menu, but several choices for beers.Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
DW Potts: My wife and I were passing through Vancouver after traveling all day, and we wound up in The District. A very friendly server named Tarun took care of us through Roasted Duck Poutine, Shrimp Linguine, and a District salad, all of which were delicious. Great food and friendly service! If The District wasn't so far from Texas, we might be regulars.
Aidan Carkeek: Food and drinks were fine, but we waited 40 minutes to get served. The poor server was completely over worked which of course wasn't her fault but management needs to have enough staff on hand.4 stars just because it doesn't deserve to overly discount their total score.
Kathleen Hess: Wonderful service! Very accommodating to my dairy and gluten allergy ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! wonderful service too!
Ashleen devi: Parking: Manager Jake isUnprofessionalDietary restrictions: Save your money and don’t come heree
kudzai gara: Let me start with the service….When my sister and I walked in, the server welcomed us very warmly. The food was very much top notch and the service was way more than 5 stars. I would go back again
Remi Vienneau: If you want a beer, probably fine and they'll probably pour it right. Food was mediocre at best, but the "signature" cocktails were pretty horrendous. I was sat near the bar and perhaps the bartender was new, but ordering 2 different of the signature cocktails and having to watch them struggle through reading the menu to see what was in each was worrisome. I struggled through the first one, had to leave the second one behind. For it being a midday Saturday with the Rugby 7s and a Canucks-Leafs game, they were shockingly not busy (should have been a warning). In any case, probably won't be back and won't be any worse off for it.
Jody F: Stopped in here 3 times on a 5 day trip to Vancouver. The food was great, Very nice selection of beers. The bartender was great and Tamitcha (spelling) was fantastic, as well. Will definitely be back on every visit.
Glenn Gibson: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes TacosMore
rfast10: Salt salt salt. Staying close by and was looking for a quick late night bite. Wings: Way too salty. Just could not do it! Water please?…. Never came. Shrimp tacos: marginally better with less salt. They were ok. Back to the wings, they were also old. Just old wings re-dropped into a fryer. Left half the order due to salt and age.I never leave reviews. But sitting here waiting forever for a bill started me thinking.Sorry guys, I just can’t waste my money here on such foods that are so simple to make fresh and then come out subpar. Place was clean, friendly bar staff, nice atmosphere, zero other issues.
Gail Mckenzie: My niece and I stayed at the attached Hampton hotel and we came down for dinner. Our server, sorry forgot her name, was sweet, attentive and very friendly. Platinum haired young lady. Our meals were fantastic, fresh, creative, and my salad was amazing. All in all a wonderful dining experience. I even had a draft on tap WHAAAAAAT? 😆 it's been years since I have, and it was fresh crisp cold and really good 👍 thank you, ill remember you next time I'm in Vancouver for sure. God bless 🙌
Jinson zheng: Recommended dishes Poutine, Cheesecake, Truffle FriesMore
Rob Ito: Went for the dine out Vancouver deal. My halibut was good but my wife’s hanger steak was terrible. Appies both good and both desserts disappointing. Mixed drink prices ridiculous. Atmosphere very average. Mixed experience overall. Won’t be returning…value just isn’t there.

Michael Swanson: Short summary: the best appetizers, good burgers, good but overpriced salads. Two of us went in for a meal; one on a cleanse, so limited with ordering. We found the staff to be nice and attentive but slightly pulled back in communication style. They did a great job all around, but I could feel it was near the end of a long day.We ordered the cauliflower bites and were overly impressed. I could have eaten them all night. I think there was parmesan in the breading and that way superb. They were cooked just right and the presentation was awesome. The blue cheese dip paired perfectly with the hot sauce - both of us could have lived off of these things all night (and the next day, too). The burger and salad we ordered after were good, but didn't match the appies. The salad was good and there was a lot of it. The dressing was impressive - it was a mild lemon flavour that added to the salad times without overpowering it at all. I'm generally someone who goes for the strongest dressings (like bleu cheese) to get more out of the dressing than the salad but this one impressed even me.The downfall of the salad was the price. It was large, but it was mostly lettuce. I wasn't impressed with the presentation, but I think the lighting at the table led to that. Maybe it would have come across better with brighter lights? I don't know. I can tell you that I couldn't tell there was a half avocado in it until it was pointed out.The Southern chicken sandwich was good, too, but not perfect. The brioche bun was great, the dressing and homemade pickles added a lot. The chicken meat was perfectly cooked, but the breading was a little overdone. Maybe the oil was to hot or getting old, but it did affect the presentation a bit. It was not burnt, but getting there. The meat, though, that was top notch. Juicy, tender, great thigh meat. I do love thigh meat.

Uva Wine & Cocktail Bar: what do users think?
Karen Hawkins: I love this Yaletown spot and go at least once a trip. Kitchen is the same as Cibo so food is very good.My only negative was the current waiter-rude, abrupt, arrogant. Took my drink away before I had finished! He’s not ready for public exposure. Sit at the bar- the bartender is great.
Izumi Hance: I enjoyed their happy hour drinks!
Zoey Thain: Delicious food and cocktails
Sebastian Fields: My husband and I have a discerning palate, but this place satisfies 100%. My husband is a whiskey lover and there are a variety of cocktails that hit the same spot as his classic favourite, the Old Fashioned. There are several fresh and/or fruity drinks that impress my gin and tequila-loving palate. Plus, the service is attentive, with the bartender even stepping out to insure we were taken care of. Uva is a worthwhile Vancouver stop-over for any craft cocktail lover.
Alyssa Jade: Terrible cocktails and was surprised by the rude service when I sent my drink back. Don’t waste your time or money here!
Kurt & Mau: Stumbled in here for afternoon happy hour last weekend and we'll be back for sure. Not sure the last time we left somewhere a little buzzed for only $40, it was fabulous. Very cozy and quaint at that time of day watching traffic go by. Probably has a totally different vibe at night.
Rohit Vats: i went here for water only , told them i will pay for the glass of water . the guy there refused and didnt had manners to communicate . I usually get water from here as i work nearby .
Sara Robinsmith: Very upscale cocktail bar. Sat at a high table as lighting was low enough that one could not see where other bar seating may have been available. But service was efficient snd the cocktail chosen - Pink Sour - was frothy smooth and absolutely delectable!
Courtenay Anderson: Sat at the bar but the experience was ruined because the manager asked us several times to move down a seat even though there was 4 empty bar stools to the left of me. He eventually moved the two of us to the end of the bar in front of the service bar and sat another couple where we were originally sitting. The bartenders were really friendly, but I can’t get past this bad manager on duty.
JIm JOhn: knowledgeable bartenders, cozy ambience, good selection and delicious cocktails. The Howling wolf and Pink sour were phenomenal!
Blair: Great wine. Didn't try the food after noticing there were TWO items on the menu that started with "grilled baby." Probably still tasty though.
Miriam Stefany Solano Pimienta: The bartender is the show of the night! I really liked this bar. Surely I come back again.
Heather Conner: Cozy spot for drinks, great atmosphere for a date. A few small 2-4person tables and plenty of seats at the bar. Excellent selections of wine and liquor AND they even had Ron Zacapa 23, Guatemalan rum that drinks like a bourbon 🥃. Nice cocktail list and the best service. The sign out front said happy hour from 2-5pm, we’ll be back for that another day
Tarcan Pakman: The girl who welcomed us started with “hey guyz”… after that you could imagine it went just down for me. This place should be under a Granville Hostel.
Wally Silva: What a disappointment!I took my friend there for a drink on a Saturday night as he told me this was his favorite cocktail place in the city. Unfortunately, the whole experience was really bad from the beginning to the end.The lights were too bright, there was no background music, there was a candle on the table that was just fuming, but nobody cared to light it up. No ambience whatsoever. My drink was pretty much just concentrated grapefruit juice, so sour that I had to add a lot of water to it. And the server had a bad attitude and greeted us in a way that really meant "what do you want?" and I'm sure she would have rolled her eyes if she could. But, the cherry on the top was when the bar tender blocked my way to the wash room and asked me where I was going. When I said that I was going to the washroom he asked me if I had a table. When I said that I did, he asked me what table. So, I literally had to point to the table that he himself had given to us just a few minutes before.I guess he mistook me for a homeless person, maybe? I don't know. What I know is that I'm never coming back there and I definitely won't recommend it to anyone.
Sukhman Mann: Very slow service. The ambience is very nice and dark and cozy. The kitchen had closed before we could order food. The drinks were very well crafted but definetely on the stronger side.
My Name: The staff here is very laid back. We really enjoyed the ambiance and the drinks are great! We ordered a few drinks and our waitress was great about making sure we were happy with everything we ordered. If you need to use the washroom though, it is weirdly hidden in the back of the restaurant, it is somewhat of labyrinth, but they have plenty of signs to guide you.
Adam Russell: Every time I’m here it’s always great. The cocktails and staff are really what makes the experience an easy 5/5 not to mention the atmosphere. Always get great service and an all around good vibe that the bartenders create making it an awesome spot to go to.
Roseanna Chan: Cozy little bar. Came for happy hour and tried the mellow mule and Manhattan. Both tasted as expected.
Jane Mathias: Stopped by Uva for cocktails and this place was really good. There were barely any folks on a Sunday evening so we were seated promptly. The bartender is friendly and made amazing cocktails. We wanted to order the Pangea but they ran out of something so we ordered for Fireside Night Cap and One night Stand. Boy were these drinks delicious. Fireside night cap is served with a side of walnuts to enhance the taste of the drink and it truly does make a difference. The One night stand was one of my favorite cocktails with banana liquer and mind you I am not a fan of fruity cocktails. It was delicious. Highly recommend this cocktail bar in Vancouver.
Pingchun Chen: Food and cocktails are awesome! But the time we went was empty. The vibes will be better if there’s more customers.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟-pomelo $16-Pink sour $16-Ravioli $21

Botanist: what do users think?
Jessica Yim: One of my fav brunch places. Hope they bring a la carte brunch back soon.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Nicholas Quintillan: Certainly a terrific experience. I’ve known the lead bartender my whole life. He recently won some well-deserved accolades and he truly is the best bartender in Canada and even perhaps the world. A strong statement for sure, however, his cocktails are creative, unique, balanced, and ridiculously flavourful. The service was outstanding and the food was unbelievably great. If you want an “out-of-this-world” experience, come have some drinks and food at Botanist. Highly, highly recommended! It was the best Burrata and Duck I’ve ever had.
Daniel Jung: An exquisite dining experience! Came in for brunch with no reservation. Luckily, after a 10-minute wait, someone canceled.Service was brilliant, food and drinks tasted delicious, and the vegan dessert was amazing! The brunch was under $90 with tips included. Fantastic spot for a date. Highly recommend reservations!I will be back 100% thank you!
Heron Hanuman: I was fortunate to celebrate a friend's milestone with a group of close friends in the private room. The cocktails are incredible. Like really good. The good is art and I didn't feel hungry leaving. The wine sommiellier needs his own YouTube channel.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kianna Kho: Came here for dinner. Food, drinks, and service were good during the dinner, but I have to deduct stars because they charged my credit card twice for the $250 dinner. It took 5 phone calls to finally get the refund. I never actually spoke to anyone from the restaurant, only the hotel. Never received a note or apology for the inconvenience, the charge was just quietly refunded to my card and I noticed on my statement.
Joel Chan: We got the three-course brunch and it was delicious. I ordered the charcuterie plate as my appetizer followed by a croque madame and the strawberry coconut panna cotta for dessert. The food was fantastic and I don't know which dish I liked more because it was honestly all good. My wife ordered the hand-cut beef tartare, butter poached lobster benedict, and the milk chocolate coffee mousse. We also got the antioxidant juice, orange juice, and blue moon non-alcoholic cocktail which paired very nicely with our food. Overall great experience with a very friendly, courteous, and professional staff. Even the washrooms were gorgeous.
Amy Knechtle: Incredible place to eat. Amazing atmosphere and service was the best I've ever had. Ever. It's expensive but worth every pennyFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Dillon Sharan: The ambiance at the Botanist is unparalleled - it's one of the most beautiful restaurants in Vancouver and a great place to celebrate any special occasion. The food and service are excellent. I ordered the vegetarian dish for my main course and was quite disappointed with the portion size - it was laughably small, fewer than 10 small bites. It's a pricey restaurant and the quality is absolutely up to par but after spending $100 per person, guests should have enough food to be satisfied, not wanting more.
A.M. Wolf: Trendy place to eat, drink, hear live music, and have the valet park your Ferrari.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Art Flores: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Monet Beswick: Beautiful room, amazing service. We had the tasting menu brunch and it was really good. The ricotta mushroom toast and the brioche French toast was my favourite ! Really beautiful place for brunch . 10/10
Jennifer Kelly: The brunch at the Botanist is incredible. Service is impeccable. High class. Beautiful setting and lots of bright windows. DJ on the weekends. The brunch menu is the best deal as it includes two cocktails and three courses. Highly highly recommend.
Savannah: Gorgeous interior and even better service!Went with a group of 12 people so we were seated in one of their private rooms with no extra cost. The private rooms have a set 3 or 2 course meal ($65 for 2 courses and $71 for three) the only difference between the 2 and 3 course meal is dessert for the 3 course meal.Excellent service, always tentative to waters sides etc. Food had amazing flavour and unique presentation.I would definitely recommend this place for an upscaled brunch or dinner!
Nicolina Ricciardi: Roland has amazing customer service skills. Food came second to his service (but the food was also delicious)Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kelsey MacGregor: There’s a reason this place has such an amazing reputation. Incredibly beautiful setting which compliments the service and food. We’ve never encountered such amazing customer service. Very accommodating staff. Best mushroom toast we’ve ever had and the pistachio croissant left us speechless. We will for sure be back and will tell everyone we know to come here.
Ben D: Great place. Comes with mimosas and your pick of cocktail with its 2-3 course meal. Drinks were great and packed a punch. Fair price for the flavour and serving size. The beef tartare was really memorable. Lamb belly poutine was a great mixture of custom French fries with a nice balance of cheese. Eggs Benedict had the right amount of hollandaise and the lobster bumped it to that next level. Dessert met our expectations and were balanced without being too overwhelmingly sweet. Great way to finish off our meal.$71 for the three course which me and my partner had. Was surprisingly filled by the end of it.
Kimberly Stephenson: A week after dining here, I'm still trying to wrap my head around how amazing this place was! The drinks, food, atmosphere-- EVERYTHING exceeded expectations. Even the journey to the bathroom was pleasantly surprising; I found myself lingering at the hallway photography exhibits, and feasting my eyes on the bustling lounge below. There was also a live pianist, whose effervescent fingers doled out jazzy covers to pop songs like something out of a 40's noir film. The lighting was perfect (not too bright, not too dim). It's impossible to say the service was inattentive-- they anticipated every refill, every wanton desire for more oatmeal sourdough bread (which was scrumptious). The other culinary standouts were the lamb shanks/belly (which now rivals bacon for me, lol!) and the sour-cream ice cream for dessert. Be prepared to crave another visit! 😝

Yogi: I was looking forward to dining at The Acorn after hearing all the hype. We stopped by on a weeknight. There were empty tables but was greeted by a young man that gave us attitude that we had no reservation. The restaurant is dark and cramped, and definitely not wheelchair accessible and I didn't appreciate having the back of my chair bumped every time staff went by. I wasn't expecting a sharing menu and my friend and I had the task of deciding which items to share, while having different tastes. The food was very good, but I felt uncomfortable the entire time I was in the small restaurant. The restaurant is expensive, and the service doesn't warrant the price. I satisfied my curiosity, but I will not be returning. Michelin star restaurants are not always pretentious. My friend's restaurant is very inviting. I don't go to places where I don't feel welcome. Very underwhelming.
Ivy Choy: We’ve booked a table of 7adults and a two year old, and found out that they have no High chairs or boosters at all, not family friendly! But the worst was, all 8 of us had to squeeze in a 5-ppl-table, and we had a vacant table next to us the whole period of time! It was too crowded !We booked for the vegan tasting menu, there were 1-2 dishes that was nice , but the flavours between dishes were a bit similar, so it was a pain to finish dish by dish. The overall dishes was not too bad, but given that I’ve paid for that much and how much hype this restaurant is having, I expected more! ( or maybe it’s only the vegan tasting menu that’s not worth it!?)Definitely not coming back again !
Alfred Tsang: I don't know why ppl recommend this restaurant, we tried the tasting menu, 7ppls stuck on a 5 ppls table, very uncomfortable while there is another vacant table next to us, I believe they are anti-chinese or racism....ok back to the foods , there is a lot of dishes but almost with same taste and extremely salty, price is unreasonable basedon wt I ate
Jaci “JB” Benson: Brunch was outstanding. We made a reservations to get in a day or two before and it so worth it. Superb service, lovely seasonal menu. The gnocchi with hedgehog mushrooms and waffles with fried mushrooms was incredible. We finished by sharing a fresh fruit dessert.Vegetarian options: Made for people with dietary restrictions.

Goga Koreli: Enjoyed my visit to Earls as usual, delicious food in the center of Yaletown to enjoy the food and begin the night out with the drinks from the bar. Tried the burger with yam fries the other day and it is tasty too as it looks like in the picture. Nice staff, they take into consideration any food allergies. Recommended! 🤙

Candy Wang: It's been a while since I've been to Earl's for a meal. In my recollection the food has always been just alright. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious their simple cheese burger was. The patty and bacon were well seasoned and not dry. Pair that with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and pickles, the flavours mellowed and worked so well together. I also really appreciate the soft bun that held together so well. I will be back again soon to try something else.
Hediyeh Rashidian: The truffle frise had the lowest quality I’ve ever had.The cajon chicken was just chicken and red pepper so that I as a fan of spicy foods didn’t want to have it more.I didn’t expect such low quality food from earls.

Business type: Sports bar

One Under: what do users think?
Matt Carolan: Great for company events but overpriced for what you get. Also watch out for the mouse traps if looking for your ball 😅
Teresa Stein: Awesome place for private gathering! Can’t wait to come back
Nicolas Martinez: They used to serve Guinness but no longer
T: A buddy and I came here before the Canucks game. Made a reservation for 515 for an hour. Smacked some balls and drank some beers and had a great time. Can’t wait to come back!
Natasha Veronica: Blake was the best server and bartender. Really accommodating!! Highly recommend
Ross Walton: Had lots of fun but unfortunately kitchen was closed, so couldn't grab a bite while playing.
Pedro Jose Lozano Lorca: Terrible and disappointing service for my birthday party. Reasons why:1. I booked 3 hours for my birthday party, fitting it with a high popular soccer game, I advised them 1 month in advance about this(El Clásico, Barcelona VS Real Madrid). Despite I went in advance to set up the soccer game in the tv with my own laptop because they couldn’t guarantee me this, I ended up having a bad experience. For every score celebration, the server came to warning us to keep the cheering up low and quiet . The second time, she told us that it was the last warning, otherwise she would turn off the tv. We told her that being in a sport bar that would be completely normal. Her answer was “this is a sport bar, but only for golf”. I think that her name was China. I think that this is so ridiculous, unfair and discriminatory , there were other sports being broadcasted in other tvs( hockey, NFL,etc)2. My girlfriend asked them during that same time to keep the birthday cake in the kitchen for 20 minutes as a birthday surprise for later on. Without any advise or notice, they charge her at the end $25 plus 20% of gratuity, for …. What it said in the bill:“cutting cake service”. What??! I even cut the cake and ask them for some plates and forks !! Just another easy and free way to get your money without any work!3. The service was veeeery slow and rude. I had to ask many times to the server to order some beers. We felt ignored. My feeling was that because the 20% gratuity would be included (I understand this being a group) regardless, they already didn’t care that much about the customer service. So frustrating and disappointing.Sorry, but I wouldn’t recommend this place for birthdays or any other event. There are a tons of better places out there to make your experience way better!
Aimee Taylor: We were there tonight, great place but when we paid my partner paid and have a tip but it was already included and when he told the server he had added a secondary generous tip (we double tipped) she laughed I’m sorry can’t change that. We didn’t think that was fair as they hadn’t said it was already included. No transparent enough for us.
jacob Colley: Lots of fun. The breadsticks are insane and if you go on a Sunday it’s half off!
Jenn MacMillan: Really fun way to socialize with friends. Food was excellent, we had the charcuterie board, 2 types of pizza, breadsticks and a variety of cocktails. I will definitely be going back over and over again.
Eric Jacinto: Always a great time here!
Jeremie Yelle: Great place for group evening! Staff team building! Great food and drinks!
Michael sincock: Great clubs beers service and music
Mark Yingling: After years of experience of Vancouver bars and nightclubs, I can confidently say that One Under is the most enjoyable time I have ever had in Vancouver. From the incredible service, to the insurmountable amounts of fun endured in the golf simulators; regardless of golf skill, I can confidently say that one under is my favourite place to be on a weekend. The establishment is run professionally and everyone here is in high spirits. I highly recommend coming to one under on any free night/day of your week. Hope you have as much fun as my friends and I do. Enjoy!
Ross Green: Outstanding atmosphere. Pizzas were delicious. Server's very attentive. Golf sim is a great laugh. Highly recommend
Rob G: Great place, great atmosphere and awesome to be able to smash golf balls in a basement in the middle of downtown!
Peter Im: Cool place but experience ruined by a particularly unfriendly server. I was there with some ESL students and when they struggled to say some things on the menu the server was frustrated and said "I can't undrstand what you're saying". Not the kind of comment you would expect in Vancouver in 2023. Felt like we got rushed to leave when our time in the simulator was up although we still had our drinks and all this on a quiet Thursday afternoon..
Edward A: It was fun - took my wife for her bday - I didn't catch our servers name but she was really friendly and helpful
Neel Kumar: They charge 20% gratuity for groups on the simulators. Makes sense for food, but I don't understand why on the sims.:lOther than that being quite lame, it's a great spot.
Zowey Gannon: Golf, food and service was 10 / 10. I accidentally left my phone at the bar but the staff found it and kept it safe. I went back the next morning to pick it up and it had been fully charged. So thoughtful and I was so grateful because I had a flight to catch. Heroes!

Earls Kitchen + Bar: what do users think?
fiona barnes: After walking passed a few times and dismissing it as an option from the street view finally went up the stairs. OMG what an oasis of high end gorgeous decor, staff, drink options and food. Please do something with the Robson Street entrance so more tourists can enjoy everything you have to offer. PS sit in Jordan's section she is great.Dietary restrictions: Staff inquired if we had any - we don't so best info I can provide
Sahib Narang: Amazing speed of service and an excellent food quality…..very friendly staff especially Anna and Tara served us so well…..The desserts were amazing especially the ‘crème brulee’….would definitely recommend to my friends and relatives:)

Aidan Davis: I was in on Friday for a quick bite and my server Katerina was fantastic! She made sure to inquire about allergies and recommended her favourites from their new menu. Checked in to make sure I was enjoying my food after a few bites and kept a cool, friendly demeanor despite a busy section.Thank you for having me!
Carolyn D: Came here while visiting Vancouver and had a really good experience with the food and staff. Both Talia (our server) and Cameron (front staff) were really friendly and welcoming to my partner and I and our 3 year old son. While there isn’t a kids menu, they were very welcoming and good with kids. The food was also fantastic. We got the seafood platter and loved all of it. Great value for the price! Only negative was the noise, louder than most places I would say. Would love to visit again.
AJ H: Had a 30th birthday at Earls Robson and our server Sunny was awesome. She looked after us so well and made sure everyone was happy. Awesome food, awesome drinks, even better service. Thanks Sunny for such a memorable time.
Mikayla Hale: Earls has amazing food as always, you can really tell they put care into cooking rather than just heating up something frozen. Our server Thalia was so sweet, she was really attentive and even took the time to talk to us about our visit to vancouver and her own life here, despite a bustling restaurant where i’m sure she had many other tables. Very impressive and very delicious :))
Kailey Hale: Really amazing food and amazing service! Our waitress, Talia, was very attentive & friendly. She took the time to ask us about our vacation and to talk about all the activities in the area. Overall, a wonderful experience :)
MORI N.: A one star would suggest that there was at least one good thing.Well. There wasn't. Here it is:I've been an Earls customer since the first one opened in North Vancouver in the mid 90's. Their Santa Fe Chicken Salad is my favourite salad on their menu and gradually throughout the years it has declined in quality. Today it hit rock bottom. The mix of lettuce was entirely rotten....all of it (see pic.)The chicken was cold and the avocado was going brown. The first bite of the salad made me lose my appetite. Literally. Didn't eat and left. The Bigger Better Burger with a side of fries was a disgrace to Burgers all around the world. When our server placed this dish in front of me....the first thought that came to mind was....."Is someone's leftover food being served to me by accident?" (see pic.) The beef patty was not a patty, it was for some reason, cut up in chunks....kind of like a sloppy joe. The meat itself was super dry, over cooked and burnt on the outside. I can't even describe how bad the fries were. I used to serve and bus tables all throughout college and what this dish reminded me of was the leftover food on people's dish after they had finished and left, which I was clearing off the table. (See pic.)We spoke to the manager. He was nice enough.I had such a bad taste in my mouth of the food and the experience that I just wanted to leave. In the past Earls was bustling and cool with tasty food, killer servers and an addictive atmosphere fronting a standard ruthless in quality. Maybe that's exactly where that belongs today, in the past.
Richard Sicard: Don’t even know how to start here but giving them one star is even more generous than my experience at this so call upscale restaurant. I’m from the US, visiting for work and basically just arrived from a trip in from Edmonton. So, needless to say I was hungry and was anticipating a great experience at this location on the recommendation from my colleague. So, after being greeted by the hostess and politely seated, that’s where the experience ended. We waited and waited and yes, waited and no one showed up after 15 mins… even to offer us water. Maybe if I was a begger on the streets, they would have offered me water rather than a potential paying customer. Not sure what the issue was but we saw multiple waiters pass by us… even to clear other tables but not even too Day hi to us… It was as if we were invisible. And these days were race is always a part of the story, it did leave me wondering if that played a part here since I’m black male and my colleague is an Asian man… none the less, we simply got up and left. And to make this an even sadder story… the, I guess, manager casually said to us… thanks for coming… as well left thee same way we entered their facility… clueless! But I guess they do such a great job and losing our business was nothing! I’ll probably not visit this facility again… and they sure represent the brand poorly as far as I’m concerned.
