Xuan Zi Liu: took up my divorce case, which had previously dragged on for long years and was draining me mentally and financially. I felt hopeless, and my prior lawyers were charging incredulous rates - after some searching I hired Kang from Maclean Law and I instantly felt more relieved after our very first consultation. After hearing my troubles, he said “Don’t worry, I will do my absolute best for this case”. True to his word, right before 2022 Christmas, my case in court was concluded in a day and a half, where previously it was said to need 10 days. I was also very satisfied with the outcome. Through the two years that I’d worked with Kang, I saw every step in the progress that he took, and I felt that I regained more hope for a conclusion to something that had plagued me for years. At the same time, I saw his professionalism and skill on the court, which was very admirable.Kang’s very adept at doing his work, his analysis of the case and the possible directions each decision could take were very precise. This was due to her diligence and preparedness (through her review of my intake forms) and her strategizing prior to us even talking. (I had already gone through an initial consultation with a different lawyer at a different law firm. This lawyer called me without reviewing my intake forms and with no clue as to how he could help me ... I could hear him shuffling papers as we spoke on the phone, trying to grasp my legal issue.)I felt like a year-long burden had been lifted after I spoke to Dana and I will always be grateful to her. Several months have now passed but I still talk about Dana and how she saved me and my family from having to go through a very costly litigation process. Eric Wilson: Amber and William did a great job picking up where my previous awful lawyer left off. They were honest about what they thought we would be able to achieve and never made any promises they didn't keep. They kept things moving forward all the time which I feel is a rarity in the legal space. At the end of the day we ended up accomplishing more than we had set out to. They're expensive, and they're worth it.
ryan pickel: Not a good experience. The lawyer I had Kathryn wasn't even good for affidavits. I had to make her edit multiple multiple time because she could not understand what I was saying, which costed money each time. There was still discrepancies in her work that was not true because she didn't listen to me multiple times. Then told me to tell the judge it was my fault because her and I had a misunderstanding.During our calls her dog was always barking in the back ground...But what really got me was I paid almost 10,000 for trial and we settled outside of court... that being said we never went to court yet she still burned all that money then hit me with another bill over 3000...nothing was done and still charged more, without even going to trial.DO NOT recommend this firm unless you have deep pockets and enjoy to watch your representative struggle with the incompetence of a simple task youll have to correct multiple times and still fail at thier task, but they wont forget get to charge you all the more.

Mr. William DeWolf assisted the parties in reaching a settlement outside of court, which benefited all parties involved. I would highly recommend Mr. William DeWolf as a mediator.

Sumeet Chandra: This review is about team Harley and Natasha who handle PR sponsorship of dependents (Spouse, Children) of existing Canadian PR holders. I have no words to describe how awesome this team is. I started my interaction with them in Feb 2020. They were very prompt in responding, taking pains to clarify every single point, verily ready to meet up to discuss issues for as long as an hour or sometimes even more. We availed of these one on one consultation with our lawyer Natasha on multiple occasions and never did once she shied away or showed me the clock. She even would guide us on general queries about peripheral issues like Super Visa application etc. However, she was quick to point out that its handled by a different team and words of those experts should be taken as legal advice. But she was never wrong despite her polite disclaimer. From Feb 2020 to finally Fall of 2022 when my application was submitted they accommodated changes in our life situation due to Covid and then due to birth of my twins. They took care of the entire application which was originally I believe paper based and converted into online application as IRCC changed rules. None of this at no extra cost. All through out this time I got replies from Harley during evenings, weekends (at times) or the very next business day. She was so thorough and quick that my wife couldn't stopped admiring her and often would cite her example in contrast to my own slowness.I can write a long essay but these two people are definitely an asset to My Visa Source. A big thank you to both of you to help my family with sponsorship of me and my twins. I will highly recommend these two to anyone looking for sponsoring their spouse or kids for Canadian PR.

Shifana Farishikdeen: Nadia and Gagneet and any other team members we worked with took a long time to process this application. They are NOT experienced lawyers. They do not know how to put together a visa application in favor of the applicant. They made several terrible mistakes on the application. They did not represent us the way we would have liked to qualify for the visa. DO NOT ever use this law firm. They are slow to respond to any emails. It took 1 year to complete 1 visa application and after requesting GCMS notes were received they took another 6-8 months. After the first refusal they reassured us this was normal and charged us for another visa application. The second application resulted in another refusal. The second application was done ALL WRONG. This process should have taken less than 6 months. The application resulted in 2 refusals which both took a really long time to get done. I DO NOT recommend this law firm for immigration purposes.

One of our residents came to Legal Aid and was assigned a student lawyer that based their immigration case on little-to-no knowledge of the client’s immigration history.Long story short, in the end, the client’s application was refused (which wasn’t surprising) because the case had not been properly assessed and they did not take the time to get to know the client. I’m not sure I can recommend this agency to represent anyone, especially people in need and that are on the outskirts of society.

Joshua Waller: Jenna was the absolute best! I’m an American and the mother of my kids is Canadian. I was so nervous about doing a family law case especially not being a native to the country. I don’t know the laws or regulations of Canada, and being taken advantage was definitely a possibility! Luckily I ran into Jenna who was super reasonable, down to earth, but definitely a next level professional. There were times I was frustrated with what the mother of my kids was requesting in negotiations and I just wanted to pay the additional money and go to court. Jennifer Radford: Melissa helped my wife and I with our embryo donation agreement as the intended parents. Karan Khiani: I was hoping I'd be here writing a positive review. I reached out to Hammerco a few months ago to help with a matter related to disputes with a residential builder. At the initial stages, the Hammerco team was quick to respond and I had counsel assigned to my case. I decided to sign up with a retainer and begin the process, while reminding counsel that I have been in a state of limbo for more than a year and I'm getting lawyers involved to help move things forward. They assured me that they would be able to help.After the initial few days of being prompt and responsive, it all started to go downhill. It went from me being frustrated about the builder to being frustrated at Hammerco. Simple things like back and forth correspondence with my team would take weeks instead of days. Eventually it got to the point where I waited 8 weeks to hear back from counsel about where my matter stands - I sent multiple emails and voicemails and got no response.I'd had enough, I emailed the managing partner at the firm to ask for my retainer back. I wasted the last few months trying to move things forward. The only saving grace is not having to struggle to get my money back.

I was facing an assault charge from a neighbour, when in reality I was the victim and the claimant lied to police with biased witnesses. Anthony Robinson, and West Pryde did a great job resolving the case, by finding non-biased witnesses on my side, and getting the case dropped without resulting in a trial, Anthony was very polite courteous, and knowledgeable. Anthony Robinson, and West Pryde did a great job resolving the case, by finding non-biased witnesses on my side, and getting the case dropped without resulting in a trial, Anthony was very polite courteous, and knowledgeable. R Lee: Thanks to Mike Scott I was able to get a very favorable result for my traffic ticket! I called a few law offices before deciding to go with Mike from Filkow Law. He was very clear on explaining the implications of my ticket and possible options.
