Golden Age Collectables: what do users think?
Jordan Holman: I Keep missing my buddy Patrick when I go in. But it's always a great experience when I go in.
Star Lord * Avenger: Very nice shop. Came in from out of town. Prices are a bit high but service and the store were awesome.
Kathleen Aflekia: Bit too low lighting for my eye sight to read titles easily which is kinda important for a book shop but other than that the service is great and the workers are very accommodating with orders for items not in stalk.
Tyler G: No place like it downtown. Great selection of comics and Collectibles. Friendly staff there to help you with any questions.
Ponda Baba: Been shopping here for over 25 years. Great back issue bins and glass counters in the back for your pricier comics. I filled some holes today and discovered they also have a decent hockey card section at a very very good price. This box of Allure is easily 120-130$ elsewhere. All your comic, toy, figurine needs in the heart of Vancouver. Thank God for Golden Age.
Shaye Nielsen: Wonderful selection of back issue at a reasonable price.
Marcelo Meirelles: Amazing store. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Mind Full: Great selection of comics and graphic novels, very helpful and friendly staff, support your local comic shop!
Adrianne Spring: Always love the location, great staff, very informative & amazing selection of comics & collectibles.
scott villett: Great store......fun place to visit great staff
S F: Found lots of neat things to find!
Ken Poon: Interesting nostalgic items that they have for sale.
Manny Angel: Nice place for kids who are adults lol .
Yunfa Chen: Absolutely fantastic comic store with weekly releases, graphic novels, toys, figurines and a massive amount of manga.
Ulysse Desranleau: The staff was helpful and friendly. Visit the sales section for awesome deals.
NSP Pelletier: Great place to bring your inner nerd out! Love the shop.
Brea H: I absolutely love buying comics here! But I'll admit, I don't go as much anymore. That tall boy with the spider-man tattoos is never there. He was so knowledgable and seemed really enthusiastic about helping me find new things. And he's cute. Where'd he go? Bring back spider-boy!
Mary Pat Thompson: Comprehensive store for superhero paraphanalia and comics.
Warren Woodhurst: I've spent a lot of time and money here and I don't regret it in the slightest. Great selection, friendly staff. If you like comics, you ought to check it out.
Karen Lee: Since 1979! Golden Age is a classic, must-visit every time we are in the area!
Jonathan Clark: A good selection of north American comics and japanese manga. And if they have don't have something you want talk to the staff and they may be able to order it for you.

Comic Land Comics and Toys: what do users think?
Göksel Ali ÖZTÜRK: lot of funkos and good price but the guy who works there is extremely rude, he was acting like get of my store, idk he is the owner or not but bad service
BeastlyBen007: It's like walking into a big store crammed into a small space. However, the man had helped my son find a graphic novel suitable for him and actually had alot of different unique stuff. Will return in hopes of finding some treasure amongst the heaps.
Mike Ball: From funkos to comics, your selection is unrivaled locally. As a tmnt guy the back issues to recent releases I can always count on comicland to come through!
Alexis King: My sisters and I went here in search of pop figures. Store owner was extremely nice and fair prices! We will be coming here regularly
David Widman: As an avid collector of multiple varieties I was blown away at how many unique funko Pops and Collectibles I had come across in this store… it felt like a store that had just about everything for the 90s to the modern collector at first I felt awkward entering the store but once the owner and myself started talking hobbies and collecting collectibles we were like long last pals … very pleased with the store owner’s knowledge of his wares and stocked items …. There was so much to see and was very pleased to be able to see what was in the store. If you are one of those hardcore Funko pop/hobby collector you have to see what is in this store you will not be disappointed as the store has something for everyone.
ian small: This guy has comics funkopops and so much more. It's a little intimidating. However the guy who runs it knows his shop like Google knows your most intimate details. He is friendly and will help you find things you didn't know you wanted
Ivy Wong: I use to work in a comic store and know how a decent retail associate should act. On the phone, didn't even bother trying to check what I needed. Worse in person. Avoid ~
Baron von Wulf: If you want to know what it's like walking into Comicbook Guys store from the Simpsons, but only extremely cluttered, this is the place to go.
Jason J.: Very very very VERY shrewd. Last time I was there, I asked for a comic.... they quoted me a price that I think was forward-looking top dollar price x exchange rate. The store was swimming in merchandise too.... I was like, ugh.... make a transaction, make a sale, make a customer, make some room.... lol I would go there just for the INTERESTING experience.... Vancouver is like this in general for this type of merchandise....
Ricky King: Hours need to be updated. Visited just after 1 pm today, Tuesday, and it’s closed. Hours sign on the door seems to deliberately have the opening time for Monday to Friday scratched out. I posted a pic showing this.
Arthur Grom: Even if Google says its open, dont go, because 100% will be closed... Tried like 3 Times and never got Lucky. Owner doesnt want to earn money
Lucas Mavety: Recently started collecting comics, I've been to almost all the comic stores across the lower mainland and not once have I been treated so poorly. I see a lot of people complaining about the hours, whilst I haven't personally experienced this, the owner was extremely rude to me. There is a lot of cool stuff there but you're honestly better off going somewhere else.
Joey P: Been to this comic shop a few times now. The owner is very friendly and enjoys talking comics / history. The Funko pop selection is amazing and the assortment of toys is great. I will continue to support this store.
Daniel Beaulne: Dealing with this guy is a nightmare over the phone. And even worse in store. Travel to get a better experience!!
Darren Michaud: What an odd shop. I’ve tried going multiple times over the last 6 months and have always found them to be closed during their posted hours. I finally happened to catch them while they were open recently - I walked in, the gentleman working (who I couldn’t see) asked what I was looking for, so I politely said I was just browsing and hadn’t been there before. I was very abruptly/angrily informed that “We don’t have anything here for you to browse, you need to tell me what you want.”I felt really uncomfortable that someone would be so immediately hostile, so I just said thank you and left. Months of trying to shop and in & out within 1 minute.I have never had this experience before, someone so irate that there was a customer trying to spend money in their business…Maybe I caught him on a bad day, but I don’t think I’ll be returning unfortunately.
Jack Fleuret: Never seems to be open. Drove by once and it was opened surprise, surprise. We decided to check it out, but the owner seemed annoyed and rude we were even there. Lots of stuff, but very unorganized in a cramped mess. If you don't get intimidated by the unfriendly owner, I'm sure you can find some rare stuff... Maybe.
Mike Ely: The guy was rude and impatient. Store is cramped.
レーレヴィ: Hours listed aren’t accurate. Came at 1:30pm on a Sunday and it was closed. Was supposed to be opened at noon. Poor business practice and unprofessional.Maybe change it to “by appointment” if you’re going to open randomly. Waste of time.
Nancy Do: Super rude. I asked for help but the man refused to be of any use. Ruined my day NEVER come here. Rip off prices as well.
Frank Ducharme: The owner I finally met is a good guy just doing what he’s passionate about. I gave a bad review because he’s often closed and does not post it. I’m changing my review because he’s a good guy when you meet him and get him to talk a bit. His place is packed but fun to sift through and if you ask him for something chances are he knows if he has it.
Natalie H.: Checked to see they're open at noon on Saturday, got to the store and it was closed. Tried to call and no one picked up. What a waste of time..

The Granville Island Toy Company: what do users think?
crywalkr: This is a neat little toy store on Main Street that's packed full of modern and retro toys. They had some cool toys from the 80s like Slinky, an Etch-A-Sketch and Lite Brite as well as the latest Playmobil and Lego sets. My one disappointment is that they didn't have a traditional Jack in the Box. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I hope to go back one day

Cosmo Kwan: Love this store! Great toys and clean and friendly staffs. Well stocked and organized!

Big Pete's Collectibles: what do users think?
Izi Kavazo: Very good comic book, collectibles, and hobby store. Pete and his staff are very helpful and friendly. Great selection of TTRPG, trading card games, board games, comics, and tons of collectibles.I've been getting indie comics from him forever.
Yunfa Chen: Really great comic store with weekly releases, graphic novels, toys and a sizable amount of tabletop games and wargaming (not much manga though)
Noah MacLeod: Such a great spot. They had a bunch of comics and graphic novels that I hadn't seen before. Amazing, and diverse selection plus their prices are super reasonable. I am visiting from the interior and my friend recommended that I stop in. I am very glad I did, I will be visiting again on my next trip down.
Cort Carpenter: I always find a treasure at Big Pete's and Pete himself is so friendly and approachable and has a mountain of knowledge in comics and ttrpg.
Brea H: Big Pete you are the goat. Thank you so much for finding me a copy of the intro of spider-boy today after an absolute garbage fire of a morning looking for it. You were so unbelievably kind, helpful, and pleasant! 10/10 :)
Jordan Steinberg: Great store. Good people. They can order pretty much anything
Jacob Greenough: Wicked store for board games. Highly recommend checking this store out
Pati Kim: I’ve only been in the store once n it’s a place that is so hard to walk away not getting anything… I’m wondering if the store buys comic book collections .. all r in good condition that I’ve had since the 90s.. from gen13, Simpsons, spawn,& d newer ones r the box set of Batman: death of the family, marvel zombies,& some more that I can’t remember atm..Does anyone know where I can sell all of my collections?
Ally Couch: One of my favourite stores to visit. Not only does the selection of comics, cards, collectibles and more make my blood rush with joy.. but the staff always have a good chuckle or two to offer. If you're looking for top shelf products with superb customer service, this is the place. Thanks Pete and team for all the years of providing extra bit of happiness to the North Shore !
Ben Mikkelsen: Great selection, reasonable prices, knowledgeable staff, well-organized. Great community presence (a North Shore institution by this point). Can't beat Pete's.
Maria Marker: Best comic shop in town! I have known Pete for years and have collected hundreds of awesome comic books and collectables over 2 decades. Super selection! Great service and awesome shop!
Charlie Deagnon: Great shop first store I went to after moving to the lower mainland. Only thing I miss about the north shore. Pete is a great shop owner and all the staff are wonderful
Cody Taylor: Great store and staff members. I have been shopping there for years. Pete is a stand up guy. He painted my fence, helped me move, fixed my cavity, changed my kids diapers, and made turkey on Christmas Eve.
Breanne Fultz: Great service. Helped me find the perfect gift for my niece who’s just getting into comics and D&D
Cameron Keeler: Have been coming to this store for over 20 years, best staff, great selection and the mecca of hobby in North Vancouver hands down.
Philip Leith: Huge selection of comics, games and toys, with friendly and helpful service.
Noah JD Chinn: Great little store with a surprising inventory. I find hidden gems there as well as what I'm actually looking for!
Michael Lagace: Great shop, great staff! Fun and fair, that’s Big Pete’s! Always a pleasure to shop here!
Daniel Dave: I can't understand the logic of the 1 star review here when the customer didn't check to see if the store was open late on Xmas Eve. Big Pete's is a great small business store owner and has always been customer focus. Safety and well being of his staff and customers is also #1. Respect the store and its inventory. The small business owner is a dying species and always has its challenges. Here's to many years of serving the local North Shore.
Ashley Marie Pike: Pete is always super helpful and ludicrously knowledgeable. I always come to them for anything D&D, board game, and of course comics related. Lucky to have this gem on the north shore!
Ryan Dennis: Great shop. Great with my kids and always has best selection for collectors. This store is great with communicating all opening and closing times and I feel like I am part of a collecting family here! Go Big Pete!

Matt S: Amaaazing anime selection at great prices
RJ: Owner helped me a lot with what I needed and with my shipping, he's also really nice and the prices here are amazing with a good selection. Easily one of the best places to buy figures in Vancouver.
Sjay: Best selection of current and older stocks of Collectibles. Owner is very accommodating to all customers and inquiries. Prices are very reasonable.
Rico J: One of best collectable action figure store in Vancouver, they covered from popular Japan anime figures to Marvel DC hottoys plus Bearbrick. The price is fair and best. Make sure also visit their website more upcoming figures for per order. The store owner is friendly and respect to every customer. I give them 11/10
Oliver Lam: Daniel is the best! If you are into Hottoys or sixth scale figures, he is the guy to call. Both service and prices are top notch and Tokya is definitely worth a visit!

Hebert Bianchinni: Our favourite anime figures shop in Vancouver!Amazing prices and always a amazing service!!!:)))
Mike M: I ordered a Prime 1 Studio 1:3 statue from this store and the order was promptly shipped and well packaged. It arrived from Vancouver to Ontario within a week and despite the size and weight of the item I was only charged the 13$ flat rate Canadian shipping this seller offers. Amazing! Through no fault of the seller the statue arrived with some damage. The owner, Daniel, worked very hard with me to get this matter resolved. He went out of his way and had absolutely excellent communications skills throughout. I have already placed another order with this vendor because of the excellent customer service!
Chin Lam: Went to Toyka on BC day to get a couple hot toys and gave them a call before heading in..they had some of the best deals on HT I've seen! If you are a Star War enthusiast then you MUST give them a try.

Roozbeh E: Went to observe, ended up with a cool Iron Patriot! They are cool, supportive people, and tI love how much they don't try to just sell you stuff, but help you pick what you actually love.
Victoria J Lee: My family has been buying from here for years, but I came in for the very first time today to show my boyfriend the store. I can see why my family loves this shop. The owner is so friendly and knowledgeable and does everything he can to help his customers, including placing special orders. My family says the prices are some of the best in town. Sometimes even when shipping is included, it is still cheaper than elsewhere.

8th Dimension Comics: what do users think?
Diego Llanos: Nice comics selection
Alex Rimmer: Good selection, Owner is a great guy to deal with
J Starr: Legit shop, good selection and above and beyond service from friendly staff. This is the kind of shop that gives brick and mortar shops a good name.
anthropodermic: Packed to the rafters with comic books and graphic novels. The friendly staff were super helpful, recommending some titles pertinent to my interests and digging up back issues I was looking for.
Brea H: Edited review: owner’s response proves my point: rude. I’d recommend Big Pete’s or Golden Age instead - both were super polite AND had copies available!Original review: Same issue as all the other low reviews - rude staff. Came here at 10am (since Apple Maps says that’s when they open), realized that was wrong so came back at 11. Guy shows up late to open and is rude to me when I ask politely if I should come back, literally looks me up and down. Tried to get a comic that dropped today but this store sold EVERY copy to regulars via pre-order and had none available for launch. Yuck.
Chris P: Not bad a bit messy inside not the friendless guy I was just browsing not even sure when to look - but hey has tons iof comics!
Jordan J. Rivera: The best comic book store in Vancouver.
Luff Puff: We often visited this comic book store when we were on main street. One day after lunch, we popped in and the owner was talking to his friend. We just browsed around. there is a table with comics on it. The owner then berated us for looking through it even though there was no indication that the comics weren't for sale or weren't for us to look through. If you don't want to sell it. put up a sign or put it away! Then there was a moment of silence as the owner's friend was reacting to how rude the owner was.We left promptly. It seems like this place is beloved by most people but we were treated rudely.
Sandra Carter: Entering the place reminded me of the comic bookstore of the Big Bang Theory. I love comics too so I enjoyed going to this place as well. You can find a few interesting series to choose from and you can find people inside enjoying their time at the place.
Yanne Me: cool little place. very friendly and helpful staff.
Adam White: Lots of comics.
David Yates: A little packed with boxes of comics but it is the most efficient use of space even if it is a little hard to browse. Picked up a couple of hidden gem items, and my friend picked up like 100 copies of Archie comics; so a wide selection of styles.
Markus Jacobson: Great store great guys
otto matthias: A comic book shop for the fans! The guy running it really knows his stuff, and goes deep when you have a question. It reminds me of the book store at the beginning of The Neverending Story. Not huge (although selection appears ample, in good condition and well organized), a bit cluttered, and definitely not corporate. It feels like a quiet bubble in which time is slow and thoughts are uninhibited.
Andrew Epstein: Helpful and informative owner (I think) in small but well-stocked shop at 8th and Main. Will return for books, toys, comics and comic collecting supplies.
Joel Chico: Best place for all your comic needs!
Malika A: 8th Dimensions comics is a pretty cool comic book shop. It’s on the small side but they have a decent amount of stock in the store. That being said, me and my boyfriend had a really negative experience regarding the service. The owner (or at least I’m assuming he was the owner) was rather rude and made both of us feel embarrassed and unwelcome, when we were just trying to pick up a comic book. Still I do believe it’s worth supporting small business when you get the chance, I just hope you have a better experience there than we did.
Scott Watts: Small store but still a awesome !! Friendly owner !! Check it out !
C A: This a great shop. Owner is super friendly and gives great recommendations. Seems to really appreciate his customers as well!
Vegan Jeffrey: Friendly and knowledgeable staff, very comfortable to shop at. Walk right in and you can find new comics published by DC, Marvel, Image, Dark horse, BOOM, and all the other indie publishers. A section of the store is dedicated to local creators, so if you want to support them, definitely check it out. They also sell status, action figures and other collectibles.
Chandy Chan: They look like their still getting the store set up, but the amount of back issues look great. During the summer construction is hard to park. But still worth the trip

Metropolis Comics and Toys: what do users think?
Baron von Wulf: We'll organized, great display cases, tables to play games, and a section for locally made comics. They also have a discount for repeat customers.
Jordan Dodington: Highly recommend this comic book store, I discovered this hidden gem, and I'm so happy I did! It's got a good selection of comics, cards, figures, Ive always found what I needed there. They also host card tournaments/playings if those interest you! If you love near Metrotown or are just in for a shop/visit, definitely come check out Metropolis Comics and Toys! 📚🎴
Arthur Grom: Cool place.. .. Its Just that they dont know what they have and what not... After a few minutes of watching alone I found what i wanted/needed and staff was suprised that they have it.
Robb InKorea: Very relaxed shopping experience, but that's par for the course for a comic book shop.
Exos Heroes: Terrible
Amir Beiklik: Great shop, lots of figures and very friendly owner. Cool little finds here and there.
logikwaffles: Wonderful selection, got a transformers figure I’ve been looking for at a very affordable price. Amazing customer service, worker was very nice :)
David Yates: Great selection of new comics, guy behind the counter was friendly enough as well. Wish they had a larger selection of older comics but can't win em all.
RONALD ALLAN CRUZ: awesome place. friendly staff.i always come here whenever i'm in burnaby. and i always find something interesting, rare, or worth collecting.
Ivan Narayan: Lots of comics and toys. Everything bagged and boarded and organized nicely. Half price comics too. Lots of collectables like star wars toys and batman, etc. Right across from metro and easy par6all around.
Ryan Wong: Lots of selection for toys, comic books, and models
Svein Ericsson: Decent selection! Nick helped me out with the layout of the place. Great guy! We alsi had some pretty good conversation.Go give it a go! 🤙
J C: Well laid out and friendly staff. Hold events. Used books and comic book packs. Great place.
Tsai Meng-Chi: Nice place. It has great selections of American comics
Markus Jacobson: Good for new releases
Abi Laws: Tidy, well organized, friendly staff
Sean Lum: Great local business. Always has good stock on a variety of collectibles. They can hold items for you if you call ahead, but don't abuse this feature.
Vegan Jeffrey: A cool place for toys and comics lover! At the comics section you'll find a wide range of collection from graphic novels to the weekly published comic books, and close to the entrance you'll find series in bundles on sale, so if you're new to the comic book world, buying a set might be a good idea! Toys section is mostly action figures: Marvel, DC, G.I. Joe, Power Rangers, also monster movies characters and other classic movie characters like Ripley from Alien. If you happen to visit Metro town, check out this place! It's just five minute walk away from skytrain station.
myles dela cruz: cool
Ryan Anderson: Cool place, bit smaller than some time others but good no less.
Breanne Lewis: I've known the staff for at least 5 years now, and they're super knowledgable. Has an open, airy layout—it may be the most spacious and tidy comic shop in Vancouver. Tuesday-Thursday they're a little quieter and it's nice to work or play games at the tables in the back, they don't mind at all as long as you don't leave a mess. Also it's generally great for browsing, asking questions, and pre-ordering! Pricing is probably the most fair I've seen compared to other shops, too :)
