Hillary Tufford: I was in Vancouver for a few months for a work contract and regularly saw Cole Majoros for massage therapy. Cole is a wonderful, fun, and warm person and he is also hands down the best massage therapist I've ever been to! As a professional singer/performer it is really important for me to find as much physical balance and freedom as possible. Cole helped me release a lot of physical tension, which ultimately allowed me to find a better postural alignment, more freedom in my movement, and more vocal resonance. Cole also gave me fantastic home care suggestions to compliment and maintain the treatment results. Cole's treatments are more on the intense side of the pressure scale, but he is very sensitive and responsive to what one needs. I can't recommend enough!Thank you so much for all of the laughs and chats Cole, and of course for the great treatments too!

He also gives me some homework exercise to do at home and the pain is getting better slowly now. He gives me a hope that my body actually might go back to normal in near future. I was covered by ICBC.I also see Doina and Eliza for massage , Elena for acupuncture. They are also great!

A V: I have a problem with grinding my teeth and upper shoulder/right trap pain and went to electra for treatment for these problems. Ive been seeing Rudy for acupuncture for the muscle pain. I felt instant relief after one session, he is incredible, it was like I never had the pain in the first place. I also see Thibault for osteopathy and he has been amazing with posture related approaches to reduce tension I have never considered before. Everyone at Electra down to the reception staff is very kind, on point, and the treatment they provide can’t be better. Thank you!

Jake Fraser: Ive been meeting with Dylan for kinesiology and Gabe for Physio for the past 6 months recovering from a car accident. Tremendous improvement thanks to Dylan. and Gabe im not great with doing the exercises on my own having Dylans help has been tremendously motivating and Gabe has been instrumental in diagnosing the crazy brain damage eye damage all the musculature tears etc and developing an appropriate doable recovery plani have been to other therapists and clinics like canadian brain performance trying to find a workable recovery plan. all terrible in comparisonthis team has been incredible, besides the therapy behind the scenes making sure i had notifications so i would remember to show up that is a huge deal with brain damage, dealing with icbc in such a way i didn't even know they were looking after the funding aspects that icbc makes nearly impossible for most people on their ownYay Dylan Yay Gabriel Yay electra health!Yay being able to take the meetings via video /telehealth !!! i wouldn't have been able to do any of the sessions without itthank you All!!!

Huna Yoo: I highly recommend RMT with Hailey Rho.I thought generally RMT is not worth it and not the most effective treatment due to my past experience that I've been disappointed for every time until I got Hailey's treatment. Her skill is completely different than other RMT. I will be certainly coming back.

Melissa Mewdell: I recently booked a few appointments with Harsh (RMT) to tackle a recurring issue I have with pain in my right arm. He was super quick at identifying the underlying cause (actually originating from a pesky muscle near / under my collar bone), and got right to work. I felt 80% better after appointment 1, and 100% better after appointment 2. Harsh is a personable practitioner who really knows his stuff. He's an excellent RMT, who can work on anyone...but I was delighted to learn that one of his areas of expertise is seniors' massage, which is a whole other set of skills. I'll be booking him next time for sure. Electra Health: you guys rock because you've got great, talented folks working for you.

I’ve had chronic back pain ever since I was a teen and I’m honestly in disbelief how relaxed and light weight my body feels. Sharon West: Cambie Sugery Centre is exceptional. I'd give them 6 out of 5 if possible. My surgeon, Dr. Emile Woo, was exceptional doing my cholecystectomy lap along with the anesthesiologist Dr. Thobani, along with all the supporting staff. When I woke up and throughout the day, there was no need for any pain killers...unbelievable. My pain level was 2 out of 10 with only minor discomfort. I believe this was due to the talent of all the staff and their team involved in my care. I would highly recommend!

Greg Stirling: Dr. Chin, was the attending physician. After a 20 minute exam with no MRI or Cat Scan, Dr. Chin recommended an osteotomy which is performed on the tibia or the femur either by taking a wedge of bone out or putting a wedge in the bone. Statistics show this procedure to have about an 80% success rate and a life span of 5 years before a full knee replacement is warranted. This suggestion by a Doctor dressed in a expensive business suit seemed barbaric. Luckily I got a second opinion. Dr. Stone at the Stone Clinic in San Fransisco. A partial knee replacement done 11 months ago was the correct path. I am paid free and doing all the things I could do ten years ago. So am I a fan of the Cambie Surgical clinic or Dr. Chin? NO. That place is a business, not a medical facility. Seek a facility which cares about the patient and less about the fees.

Bradley Meyer: Had my first surgery ever here. Amazing experience. Everyone was super professional and accommodating. Made sure all my questions were answered and I was comfy from the moment I walked in till I left the next day. I had no issues and my pain has all but disappeared. I was very lucky to be able to get my back fixed here through WorkSafe. I almost didn't want to leave! While I obviously wouldn't want to have to visit again, I certainly wouldn't hesitate one bit.

Sydney Graham: Just got surgery done here. Normally I wouldn't leave a review but my experience was exceptional. The intake nurse was lovely and calmed my nerves. She gave me heated robes to put on which were as comfy as hospital clothes can be. My anesthesiologist was also very kind and obviously did a great job. I had no nausea or negative side effects afterwards. Everything was spotless and clean. I woke up in the recovery room to kind nurses making sure I was comfortable. They even called me the day after to check up on me. 10/10 experience I wish I could get every surgery done here

Rose Kaur: Chose CSC after Ontario partially stopped knee surgeries (people are still getting knee replacements?) and we were in & out of public hospital emergency rooms begging for surgery for two months. My brother had a FULLY torn ACL after an accident, he is only 22, waiting for the public system to pick up and finally get him in would only prolong his recovery. We reached out to the Specialist Referral Clinic, Dr. Day had us scheduled for surgery within two weeks. We had a pre-surgery assessment via Zoom with Dr. Day who assured us it is a common procedure, what to expect, PDF files of information with diagrams etc. His surgery was done in a few hours and now he is on the road to recovery. We would've had to fly to the U.S. for the same procedure! We are thankful to Dr. Day, Cambie Surgery Centre for being an option available, his staff & the Specialist Referral Clinic!

Ellice Daniel: My 4 year old went in for a dental procedure this morning. All the staff were incredibly caring and patient when explaining each step. They gave me a chance to ask questions and answered all my questions thoroughly. I was kept informed of every step and given a detailed explanation of the plan as well as the outcome/work that was done. The Anesthesiologist FaceTimed with me when we got home so he could see my daughter and even followed up at the end of the day, as he promised.My 6 year old is scheduled to go here in 2 weeks and I have no reservations based on my experience today.

Janet Mader: I came down with a major systemic infection which required intravenous antibiotics a week after the surgery, and the surgeon wouldn't talk to me for follow-up support until I said I wasn't interested in suing him, I just wanted to get well. The public health care doctors at the emergency room were quite clear that follow-up care was the surgeon's responsibility. And if y'all want to sue me for defamation for saying this, I suggest you check Cia Wilson's email records for February 10, 2017 first. I have my own records to back up the rest. For the record, the reason why I was a Bad Canadian and went with a private provider was because I would have been off work on disability for the better part of a year if I hadn't, due to Alberta's enormously underfunded healthcare system.

lisa sutherland: I was waiting in alberta bc for back surgery for over 8 months. They had me on drugs to take away the pain and injextions into my spine. I wanted my life back. I aent my information to the cambie surfery centre. Flew out out to verify my assessments which were done in Alberta. Met with my surgeon (dr ramesh sahjpaul) and booked my appointment. As soon as surgery was done i enjoyed a fine meal, went through discharge and flew back to alberta. No more pain. I made a complete recovery and within 3 months i was back to riding/jumping horses, no painkillers, no other drugs, running and exercising as normal. I am so grateful for the surgery. I was in such agony, bad headspace and unable to work during the time while i had waited for alberta to book me in to speak to a surgeon. It was a lot of money for me at the time (i think in total worh hotel/airfare etc it was 13k.) But i was also able to claim it on my taxes that year so i technically got some $ back. worth every penny spent (yes pennie were around when i had it). I had my surgery in july. The accident that caused the initial injury occurred in december the year prior (7months). Then in february 1 yr and 2 months from the time of my accident i received my appointment to meet with the neurosurgeon in calgary to discuss about setting an appt for the surgery. Thank goodness for Cambie is all i can say.

Bob Bracken: I have been a patient of Dr. Frame, and of the Vancouver Anti Aging Clinic since 2013 and can best describe my experience with them as health and life enhancing, even life saving. At the time of my 1st visit in 2013 I was in my early '60's and a mess, healthwise. My diabetes, blood pressure, obesity, testosterone levels, and inflammatory joint issues were serious and getting worse, in spite of years of treatment from BC Med "normal" conventional physician care. Under Dr. Frame's guidance and treatment my health improved dramatically, with changes to almost all prescribed medications, referrals to enhanced care examination and treatment by BC Med sponsored specialists, and an ongoing (to this day) on monitoring and improving all aspects of my health, with an emphasis on not only anti aging, but reverse aging. I believe Dr Frame to be at the leading edge of this approach to health and wellness care and strongly recommend that persons approaching, experiencing middle age (both men and women) book a consultation with them:UPDATE:i Have regular, quarterly consultations with Dr. Frame - as recently as today. We spend a solid hour + reviewing my current health situation, including a complete bloodword review, as well as any and all other medical consultations & examinations since our last appt. We keep a running review of changes, good or not-so-good compared to my earlier, and historical examinations & health records. We also discuss, review and address any potential additions, improvements or alterations to our long standing health maintenance and health improvement program, as well as addressing any new issues that have arisen. "Comprehensive" doesn't adequately describe this approach, "Exhaustive" might be overstating it a little bit, but not by much. My satisfaction and trust in the care and service I get from Dr. Frame and the Anti Aging Staff would be 6 Stars if that choice option was available. Satisfied Client/Patient. August Sunsets: I have ECZEMA!!! And this guy with his assistant preached to me for 45 minutes to stop drinking coffee and to stop taking hot baths!! I’m not surprised by all of the bad reviews and if I could give him zero stars I would…WORST DR. Ever!!

effellbee *: Misdiagnosed me. Said I had diverticular disease. He literally told me to “do nothing”. It turns out I have a tortuous/loopy/redundant bowel. Also scar tissue which he scoffed at when i asked if that was a possibility. Thankfully I finally got into a gastro who did a proper colonoscopy. Pezim never even completed my sigmoidoscopy as it was too painful yet he insisted he saw all he needed to see and that i should “do nothing”. Steer clear of this neglectful doctor, find someone who will take your pain seriously and not scoff at you and shuffle you out the door.

Gary Faryon: I read the poor reviews but thought that they came from a vocal tiny % of patients with unreal expectations or overly sensitive. As such I discounted them. Don't make the same mistake. In my instance I felt that Dr. Pezim discounted my pain, was crass, unprofessional and not much help. He told me that what I was going through was "nothing" compared to many. He has "seen patients kill themselves over much more advanced cases than mine". He is the first and hopefully only Dr. I will ever need to deal with who seems to me to hate people and hate his job.

Melissa Ann: Dr Pezim and his staff are so fantastic. After my first visit I left in tears of joy. They were kind, compassionate and treated me in a way that made a very uncomfortable situation much better.There was a nurse in the room the whole time, which I appreciated very much, and she was so lovely.There was consent asked for everything that happened and I felt safe.I had a surgery scheduled for a week after my initial visit and it went super smoothly. They treated me with such warmth I felt completely secure.Also worth noting I went to the cleator clinic prior to this and it was a horrendous experience. They told me my surgery was going to be $1000 and that it wasn’t in my best interest to do it. Dr Pezim recommended I have it done and it was covered by my MSP.I highly recommend this clinic.

After 4-5 visits to this clinic with the same persisting issue, they refused to do any type of procedures or further testing, so I gave up.I called in 3-4 months after I was given another referral to this clinic. Another 3 months later they got back to me via email saying that they now want a second opinion and have referred me to a doctor that is no where near my current location. A phone call would be nice to talk to me about the situation.. But no one seems to answer the phone, via text or via email. Beyond frustrated. Do better.

Bri Robinson: If I could give this clinic a zero I would. The RN Alison and Dr. Pezim are the most unprofessional people I have ever encountered. I had the most horrific experience where the Dr. and nurse laughed at my pain and said that my story doesn’t make sense to him, comparing my issue to someone dying and having a heart attack.. disregarding my symptoms and did not perform a full examination. This was a sever form of malpractice and I ended up in the ER because of it. I would avoid this place at all cost and they shouldn’t even have a license to practice.

Ariel the MOA made booking easy and convenient and was able to do it by text. All in all considering the nature of the appointment a pleasant experience lol

He and his team are very professional, and truly dedicated to best patient care and treatment outcomes. Patients are lucky to have access to such quick and competent specialist care here in Vancouver. It really is too bad other provinces such as Alberta do not allow access to private gastroenterology procedures as this significantly decreases patient wait times and stress. Forever grateful to Dr. Pezim for his skill and expertise, it is hard to find medical professionals who have a true calling for their profession like him.

It is a waste of time and money as he was inappropriate with his approach and comments that is highly unprofessional and lacked the emotional intelligence to actively listen to the patient needs or concerns. Rather was abrasive and interrupted while the patient is speaking with a condescending manner, providing a misdiagnosis without providing a full examination.

He was asking the medical history for my family and straight up said "that's Impossible" to my Aunt having Stage 4 colon cancer at 40 and another family member dying of colon cancer at 60. He was so rude, I felt so invaded and dismissed. He interrupted me all the time and wouldn't listen to anything I had to say about my body or other medical conditions. He's a jerk and you're better off avoiding him.

Mike Li (李心爱): I went to see Dr. Michael Pezim and asked him for a colonoscopy. I paid $622.40 for the consultation and examination fee. Then for the actual colonoscopy, I paid $1,327.60. In total, I’ve spend $1,950.The result of my colonoscopy turned out to be good news. Dr. Michael Pezim stated that I don’t have any polyps in my colon, he was a very professional doctor and a down to earth person to speak to.Based on the data written by the Canadian Cancer Society, Colorectal cancer is one of the most common cancers in Canada, in both males and females. Based on my knowledge and understanding, before colon cancer starts to develop, they are often small and harmless growths, along the walls of the colon, which are called polyps. Colon polyps usually have no symptoms. But as time progresses, a colon polyp could turn into colon cancer. Because of that, it is very important to remove all of your polyps in your colon.

Nasser Afrough: Honestly I was sceptical because of all the negative reviews. I went to see him after visiting the hospital 3 times in one week and still suffering. He is extremely knowledgeable and was able to heal me significantly in only a few days. I thought that his office is all about money since it’s a private clinic but I was wrong. Not only did the receptionist (who is awesome by the way) book me in right away but she also found a way for my treatments to be covered. If you are suffering, call his office ASAP.

The other places made me feel a bit anxious and uncomfortable, which I took as a given with laser hair removal, but from the second I met NuAGE, they put MY comfort, and experience at the forefront and made me feel SO at ease! I usually look at the rating and number of reviews a place has as a criteria, and I was very skeptical of how theirs could be as high while offering some of the most competitive prices I had seen! They undoubtedly lived up to that expectation.My initial consultation was booked with ease, and they took my comprehensive history, listened to my concerns, preferences and goals and went above and beyond to help me avail the latest deals, which resulted in a great personalized treatment plan. I had read online about the laser machine they used, since I have a darker skin tone with black, fine hair, which can sometimes be a contradiction, and was very impressed with my research prior to my first appointment. I was not in the least bit disappointed, with the minimal pain I had as well as the results I got over my 4 sessions.I was really nervous about the pain despite the highly effective numbing cream they gave me to use, but Monika (SHE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST) made me feel SO comfortable and was always happy to put more gel/spend more time cooling/give me a break when I needed, even giving me a stress ball and blanket each time and distracting me with lots of conversation. I jokingly told some of my friends that I had a mohawk in the brazilian area since it seems like all my hair except one little patch had fallen off from the very first session! I only did 4 sessions but I am so in love with the results- I literally don't need to shave in the areas anymore and have like two hairs or something😂I also just loved the cute email reminders they'd send me before my appointments and follow-ups after each appointment, and how accessible they were by phone to answer any questions I had or address any concerns! Something that drew me to them was also how much I loved their girl-power-esque marketing and website design! Booking an appointment was always super easy and I was able to make appointments work easily with my hectic university schedule (and terrible time management😂). They had tons of deals through the year and I literally got at least 30% off on each and every appointment I had, which was SUCH a help! Mo F: I’d like to preface this by stating this review is only for Dr. Amini. All other doctors in this clinic are exempt.Dr. Amini is not my family Dr. He was a replacement while my Dr. was on maternity leave and unfortunately it turned out that it was a horrible mistake on the part of the clinic to assign this chauvinistic disrespectful Dr to oversee my medical care. I have a severe form of UC and my medication requires the utmost care and attention. Dr. Amini did not attend the appointment he was scheduled to attend and sent his nurse. The nurse ended up sending the wrong medication to the pharmacy and then further to that ended up sending the right medication to the wrong pharmacy. After sending an email stating that I am concerned that the team is not paying attention to the details I received an angry phone call from Dr. Amini. At the time I was just recovering from the Flu, Strep, and a Sinus infection and could barely speak. Dr. Amini spoke down to me as if I was some peasant who did not understand his own health and medication. Did not allow me a moment to speak and spoke over me in a rude and angry tone, telling me to be quiet when he speaks. This is not the type of Dr. Patient interaction that should ever occur. Dr. Amini has an ego the size of an elephant and it is apparent from other online reviews about him that he should be avoided. I have already submitted a formal complaint to CPSBC about his conduct. I hope the send him in for some training. I highly recommend anyone thinking of going to this Dr to rethink it as there are many Drs out there that are caring, kind, considerate and will never make you feel worthless. Dr. Amini displays the exact attributes that you would expect from someone who believes he is better and smarter than everyone else and if you ever question his work he will come attacking you.

Ben H: I went into the clinic to book an in-person doctor's appointment so that I could schedule an MRI for my dislocated knee. I was told I didn't need an in-person appointment. Despite knowing different I agreed. I waited 10 days for a phone call from a doctor. Only to have him tell me that I needed an in-person appointment to assess my knee. It's now been over a month since the accident and 4 sessions of physio and I still haven't been able tobook an MRI. The MRI facility is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The doctors want to double charge the Healthcare system and waste injured peoples precious time.

A L: Wonderful doctors, they are so knowledgeable and kind. But what really impressed me was their staff. The front desk staff. I have never encountered such amazing girls. I took my mother a couple of times and I've only ever really talked to the two lovely ladies who are always at the front- Christine and Lia. They are so sweet, very outgoing, helpful, and very friendly and personable, they talk to you like you've been friends for so long. Every time I sit in the waiting room to wait they are always so welcoming to every patient that comes in, even getting a smile or a laugh out of them. Your patients always tell each other how sweet you ladies are to them, you would not believe how many times i've heard them say so. Thank you ladies for always being so kind and friendly. You all work so hard and you are so appreciated. These girls are the type of girls that every office needs. They are amazing!

Saundra Wilson: If I could give Dr. Tabassi 0 stars I would. I’ve been a patient with Dr.Tabassi for over 4 years now. I went to him out of hopes that we could come up with a plan for my fibromyalgia, anxiety and depression. After missing two video appointments this year, I was notified that I owed $280.00 and was blocked from making any future appointments. There was no written warning or notice that was ever sent out to me that a missed video call would result in a no show fee, nor was I made aware of how much each charge would be. After being informed that I had to pay the fee before I could get a refill on my anxiety medication, I emailed the office directly asking for:“- proof of acknowledgement that I will have to pay a no show fee for a VIDEO APPOINTMENT.- proof of where it states how much it is per missed appointment.- proof of this clinic notifying me that I will be charged for a no show for a VIDEO APPOINTMENT- on your website under telehealth it only mentions this: If the doctor cannot help, your visit will not start and you will not incur a charge. The doctor will advise if you need to visit a family practice or walk-in clinic instead. there is no mention of missed telehealth appointments and being charged for a No show fee.I have reviewed all the emails sent by bewellmedical since telehealth was introduced and there is no mention of a no show charge.” It isn’t even mentioned on their website!TODAY - I got a phone call from BeWellMedical and when I asked her why she didn’t respond to my email, she had told me that Dr.Tabassi told her it was unnecessary to send me an email and that it’s okay to call me. I replied with, “no, I need written confirmation of this conversation. This is what started this problem in the first place.” She replied saying that it’s unnecessary and that Dr.Tabassi told her that I need to find a new family dr. I had asked her to reply to my email so that I have written proof of our conversation and she said she would. So we will see.I deal with SEVERE anxiety, depression, ptsd and adult ADHD - on top of this, I suffer from fibromyalgia, a chronic nerve pain disorder. All I wanted was to refill my anxiety medication and on the days of the appointments I missed, I had anxiety through the roof where it resulted in panic attacks. The onus is on me for missing my appointments, however the manner of which all of this was handled was very suspicious and also disheartening. I almost went to the saint Paul’s hospital to beg someone to help me with my anxiety and depression... thank god for the supports in my life, otherwise this entire situation could have blown up into a bigger situation for myself. All I wanted was to refill my anxiety meds!Also if you’re a woman, don’t bother seeing this man. The amount of awkwardness and uncomfortability is not worth it.I will be taking further actions with the medical board to make sure that this matter becomes aware to his superiors. You should be disgusted in your behaviour dr. Tabassi. Being a dr. Means to help people in their time of need, have proper communication and human decency.

Jenna Gibson: Becoming a patient at this clinic has been the silver lining to when my prior family GP retired! I appreciate Dr. Tabassi's excellent medical judgment and have been really happy with all aspects of my healthcare. The clinic is also very organized and efficient and with the option to telehealth and video conference, I couldn't be happier. Thank you BeWell Medical Clinic - I'm so thankful to have found you!

Rap Rapsaj: Patient of BeWell specifically Dr.Amini. Let me start by saying he is a great doctor. This not the issue. The length of time to see him is my concern and the cause of my negative review. Today is September 9th and the proposed next available time to see him is September 27th. Is this realistic… I take exception to this…very upsetting. Further, patient appointments feel like clock watching as turnaround is 10 or 15 minutes to get the next patient in. Billability appears to be the focus. Yes, they are professional and informed but drop the ball in areas. Is this an industry wide issue and my concerns are not warranted? Feeling discouraged… do I simply keep trying walk-in clinics or urgent care to get a more responsive response to my medical inquiries.

Arseniy Pentsak: Dr. Tabassi is the best family doctor we've ever had. Always cares and does his due diligence checking any concerns. Extremely knowledgeable and professional.We are lucky we became his patients years ago when he just started accepting.Also, would like to point our reception, which often is a problem at most clinics. Their team is great and accommodating. Normally you have to wait for 3-5 minutes on the line, but they will help you if you have a real need to for in person meeting asap.They do not overbook and we never had to wait more then 10-15 mins after check-in, which was a nightmare at some other past places with 45 mins wait time expected.

Vlogging Essentials: Poor customer service! After putting me on hold for 15 minutes, the receptionist comes back and says very rudely that we are not accepting appointments for new patients. My brother is a patient and he advised that Dr. Amini is great! Please fix your customer service or you'd lose some regular patients too.

Hchy BC: I've been seeing Dr. Naz for trigger point injections for the past two months and the experience has been excellent. The clinic is modern and incredibly clean, the staff are efficient and polite and Dr. Naz is knowledgeable, attentive and skilled. Highly recommend.

Svetozar Cico Blecic: Dr Amini is a legit medical wizard. Dude can locate the cause of pains in completely seperate parts of your body and treat you courteously and efficiently within a few sessions. Super friendly, knowledgeable and absolutely one of my favorite people. 5/5, genuinely cares for his patients and goes over and above to help.Example. Cluster headaches, no doctor could figure out the cause including multiple hospital visits. Dr Amini diagnosed the issue properly and was able to trace the pain to a few specific spots. After an excruciatingly long time taking tablets and mixed medications, he managed to help me with trigger point injections to fully relieve the pain. It comes back once or twice a year and gets corrected within 1 or 2 visits. Truly life changing when you're pain free and off medications.
