Granville Island Water Park: what do users think?
CAROLINA CORTIELLA FANLO: Visited on Weekday Reservation recommended NoMore
Angelo G: I ran through here with clothes on was a real funny bit, and at the park next to it my friend fell while pushing the big net thing for the kids that was very funny so 4 stars yeah
Forums Underscore: Not in the waterpark, but one of my friends fell from pushing that one spinning tower ride and very funny
Madeline Laberge: Always fun here for kids. My son goes all the time in the summer and can play for hours. Just watch out for the geese they can be mean and there is a lot of goose poop but that's just typical Vancouver.

Slidey Slides Park: what do users think?
salma haloda: I sadly was deceived by the pictures of this park on Google maps. I thought it was bigger and had more slides (since it's called slidey Slides)! It is a great park and everything but it isn't that big, there is only two slides and couple of swings and climbing structures. It has a small outdoor gym next to it and a small parkour area. However, it also has alot of shade and long sitting bunches where you can sit and watch the kids. It has green grass areas all around also where you can have picnics.Again it is a lovely park and the surroundings are pretty and there are football playground Infront of it but the playground of slides isn't that big at all, its actually pretty small. The kids loved it anyway and we spent nice time.
Mike Wilson: Not a bad park, kinda cool design to it all. Good to see lots of trees, but surprisingly little of the actual play apparatus is shaded. Also surprisingly awkward to access, having to drive from the opposite end of the PNE grounds if going by car. Was very excited to check this one out, but just seems kinda lonely and empty actually being here. Maybe we've just come at the wrong times of day.
Joelle Siemens: Love this park, they have everything, awesome playground, basketball and volleyball courts/nets, track, mountain bike track, skatepark. Perfect place to hang out for the afternoon.
Roger Aba: If you can find parking, this is a good place just to let the kids run around!!! I absolutely love coming here and letting the kids play.
Terry Smith: A great community resource. Could use a skate area to avoid the skateboarders ruining the concrete benches.
MG_FXV: Hidden behind the PNE. It's a nice park but not what I wanted. No water park... the playground is mostly for 7 year's or older and gave a 3 because parking is pretty expensive... it's understandable because PNE is just right next to it. Won't come back here. Please visit still... it might not work for me but maybe for others will love it.
LaChica Feliz: Wonderful place for kids to play . Plus the separate work out sections there is nice for adults with plain view of the park and mountains.
nolan stroud: Kids still having plenty of fun, lots of things to do here. I especially love the rollercoaster in playland being so close. Just getting a bit worn looking. The city needs to replace some of the wood features and then repair the workout equipment.
Adam Bitingdog: Kids were liking it
Matthew Ellis: Slides (as the name might suggest), and climbing things and a fun parkour area for the older kids all make this a lot of fun. It overlooks Empire Field allowing you to remember your glory of youth as you chase your kids from swing to snack time.
Alison Williams: This is a great park with something for everyone. Playground, skateboard/scooter area, pump track for bikes, walking path, track, workout area and turf field.Looking forward to our next visit.
Danny Breeze: Slidey.... Very slidey indeed.Great fun with all the family. Quite steep although there are smaller ones in the park nearby. There are also soccer fields, bike parks and skateboard areas. Parkour area nearby, but nothing to write home about.
Daniel Park: This place is like a hidden gem!Placed behind PNE, lots of plays for kids to enjoy. Though one of jungle gym is out of service.I think the parking lot will be full when PNE is open so I would avoid those days.Overall, new and clean playground
βπιαη λητσηισ: Nice place to bring your playground-aged kids. Watch out for the older kids coming through on their skateboards and bicycles.
Gregory Low: Kids loved it.
Le_on: Ok place for younger kids. The parking lot near Hastings you need to pay. There is bike park nearby.
Edwin Nathaniel: This is one of the coolest playground with long slides! The best part is the kid's bike skill park located a few meters away.
Mac Luu Ha: Grt
Janet Lee: The slides are a lot of fun! The park also has a smaller slide for little ones. The climbing structures are the right size for my 5 yr old. Exercise equipment beside the playground and some climbing structures for adults that I assume are there so you can be a ninja warrior. Washrooms are there, but looked like only the men's were opened at the time we went.
Dc: Great views, lots of space!, multi age groups can play simultaneously. One big issue i have is the city of Vancouvers lazy choice of landscape . Letting the grass turn into Bush is ridiculous. This promotes rats, mice and looks unkept. The whole area and surrounding is a big messy bush. Loads of blackberry and uncut mess!!
Juelz: Great place to take your children or even yourself! Get a work out and lots of sunshine

The Fox's Den (Splash Park): what do users think?
Louise Boilevin: Its now reopened for the summer season . Its a nice retro kids playground that even i enjoyed as a child and its free this waterpark . Its got Washrooms/change rooms . Its got a little beach next to it too . Its got a concession stand nearby . And its got plenty of green grass for picnics . Its very clean area here . Historical information to add This area here originally had a west coast native Squamish village pre Stanley Park days one of many back then here . There is parking around and public bus transportation nearby at the Stanley Park bus loop were the kids train is
Joris Evers: Perfect for kids on a warm summer day
Elina Kuznetsova: The Big Elf Run is the amazing annual event that is making December so special at Stanley Park!
Simon Blizzard: Absolutely soaked here, made the rest of the run much colder.
Stanley Wongus: It’s closed but still pretty cool area to hang out with cool views
Raymond Zhang: Closed for maintenece as of 10/7/2022
S.A. Shivram: Nice place for kids during hot summer. Plenty of benches for the elderly. Access to washrooms and water fountains
Jacquelyn Z Ross: Posting here as I was initially confused as to whether the water park was open or not — I checked in with CoV staff via the chat section of the website and they said that the park does close occasionally when for whatever reason they can’t guarantee no runoff from the park into the ocean, but for the most part they just send staff in each day to mitigate this and keep the park open if/when it happens because they know how much families love this place. In short: the splash park is open, and I can confirm it, since we had a lovely time there today! Happy summer :)
Nimesh Kotak: It's open now as of July 23 2022.
Ben Duncan: Don’t go here right now, we went this past weekend (June 25 and 26) and it’s closed. Google still says it is open but you could feel the disappointment in the air hanging like a cloud as on the hottest weekend of the summer so far, families had flocked to the splash park in hopes of some respite from the heat. Really pathetic and lame on Vancouver’s part, which is expected but still, I mean come on now.
Renata Horackova: In Saturday Jun 25 2022 I coming this park with my 3 years old grandson park was closed how bad and silly i this hot weather!!! CITY OF VANCOUVERU SHAME!!!
Adam Mullock: It's closed ... very annoying... under repairs... thanks city of Vancouver for my child's day.
Yuly Lau: I just wanna let people know that this water park is closed until further notice. I went with my kids' school field trip yesterday (June 24/2022) and all the kids were super excited to play in this water park. It was a very warm day, and when the kids were getting ready to play, it hit us with the disappointing news that the water park was closed. Many other schools planned field trips to this place and got disappointed as well. We managed still to move our school to spend time by the beach area. Kids still had lots of fun. I just felt that some headups on the website would have been more helpful.
Nayeli Sanchez: Refrescante, frente al océano, familiar
Aleksander Trzebski: Added bonus, right beside the splash park is this amazing little beach. Can’t beat a hot day at the beach with the family, strolling over to the splash park, maybe getting some concession snacks! This is deep enough into the park that it’s always less crowded than other parts of the park.
Golnaz: Great area for 🚴🏼
eunjeong yang: Best water park in the city
Miranda Green: Beautiful area, nice bathroom and great views.
Moustafa Ibrahim: Nice one. Short beach area bedside it; waves' sound helps relaxing.

JW1A: excellent water view under backdrop of downtown skyline n Burrard Bridge. that is where Vancouver museum and Maritime museum is and a small observatory with a weekend event setting up astronomical telescope for public to watch the sunspots.Dog-friendliness: take your🐕 dogs run around, swim in the beach.

Jonathan Bridges: So nice.
Ben Olivier: Beautiful views of the inlet and downtown. Peaceful place to walk along the water and very close to several museums and Shakespeare in the park.Dog-friendliness: Dogs need to be under control and are not allowed to chase the wildlife. Not a dog park although there is a dog beach close by.

Pacific Spirit Regional Park: what do users think?
Xin Chen: A famous hiking park in Vancouver, the forest is still in its original state, and it is a natural park that is very popular with Vancouverites
Anita Huang:
Daniel Middler: Don't stare at the trail while walking...? Look up at all the trees makes for a relaxing walk!!!
Joseph Chang: Nice forest. Trails leading to the beach. Nice walks. Dog heaven too.
WILLIAM REN: 10K run in the trail ! Sunshine day!
Patricia Lafontaine: Beautiful spacious park with many trails, few people. Definitely doesn't feel like you are in the city!
Hassan Mk: Amazing place 😍😍😍Highly recommend this place to go for date 😃😊Even you may bring your barbecue to have lunch or dinner 😊
T Richmond: Beautiful place to be away from the city.
Michelle: My favourite forest walk. Lots of off leash trails for dogs and lots of trails for cyclists.
Jia Yun: Relatively easy hike and quiet on a weekday. Love the tranquil of the the forest and also the adorable friendly off leash dogs that I saw at certain parts of the trails where dogs are allowed to go off leash! For those who are afraid of dogs, do take note.
Cinematic Street: Pacific Spirit Park is as beautiful as it is big.  I only explored a small part of it on the northwest corner, near UBC Wesbrook Village.  The condos beside the park, on Bennington Road, are 20 stories high (I helped build them) and they are just a little taller than the trees.  Those trees are huge, to say the least. There are miles of trails if you really want to do some serious walking.  I walked down the Douglas Fir Trail and then came back on the Sword Fern Trail.  It was a really nice day for a walk, with lots of sunshine.  But it was also a Saturday and the trails were busy, so keep that in mind. Some trails are walking only, which is very nice, because then you don’t have to deal with all the bikes and other wheeled devices.  However, one thing you can’t avoid is the small army of dogs which seem to outnumber the people at times.  Most of the dogs are off-leash so be prepared for a lot of dog encounters.I got jumped on by a very excited dog and was thoroughly sniffed and slobbered on, but I didn’t get bitten.  Which is a good start to any canine relationship, and most human ones too.  I actually thought the dog was happy to see me and I was feeling pretty good about myself until the owner said the dog was just looking for treats.  That was humbling because I got rejected by a dog and now I have muddy paw prints on my jacket to remind me that I’m a loser.  It was a “Curb Your Enthusiasm” moment.Overall the Pacific Spirit Park experience was positive and I think everyone should check it out.  If you’re into photography then you should definitely check it out because there’s a lot to see.  It’s really nice to have green spaces like this in the city and we need more.  They’re good for your physical and mental health, and good for the planet as well.Dog-friendliness: Dogs everywhere.
Jennifer Chu: Love that this regional park is in my own back yard. The only concern would be for dog lovers bringing their dogs to run unleashed. Be careful of the excess of cyclists as they seem to take more demand over the trails
Yogendra Godbole: Amazing park with great easy trails! Unfortunately folks don't follow leash rules so be careful with big dogs. Fairly busy during weekends and unsafe during the dark - so go with some company/ big group.
Olga Yermolenko: Pacific Spirit Regional Park is a true gem of the Canadian landscape. Located in the heart of Vancouver, this expansive park offers a stunning natural oasis that's perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. From the moment you step foot in Pacific Spirit Regional Park, you'll be surrounded by lush forests, tranquil streams, and a diverse array of wildlife. The park's many trails offer endless opportunities for hiking, running, and exploring, with routes that wind through the forest and along the coast.Pacific Spirit Regional Park is an absolute must-see. With its pristine natural beauty, incredible hiking trails, and commitment to conservation, this park is truly one of Canada's greatest treasures.
Punit Kumar Jha: Very beautiful trails right in the city!
Joyce F: One of my favourite haunts.
Connie Koo: Pacific Spirit Regional Park is a beautiful park to visit because of all the old growth forest. The most common tree I noticed was the Western Hemlock with some decaying redwoods in the center. I mostly went on the Hemlock and Salish trails and I found those trails to be easy snd straightforward. There's a sign posting at every form in the road and the trails are very clearly paved. There's even large garbage cans for dog waste at certain points of the park. The only con is that even if a trail requires leashes, dogs throughout this park don't wear leashes. The owners I've seen do manage to keep their dog from running up to other visitors.Dog-friendliness: This is a very dog friendly park, you can't go ten minutes without seeing a dog and their owner running or scrolling through the park.
Victoria Collins: Come here frequently. Very accessible and easy to navigate routes.
Clare Wang: So lovely and peaceful despite meeting alot of ppl/dogs, theres plenty of trail to spread out. Although some parts were quite icy given the snow storm a few says before so be aware!

Playland at the PNE: what do users think?
vida piri: It’s a nice place for playing but the time you have to is exhausting, long queueVisited on Weekend Wait time 1 hr+ Reservation recommended Yes …More
Melina Baker: Nice place to spend time with kids and family
Marius Wimmers: I had an amazing time at Playland Amusement Park! The staff was incredibly friendly and did everything they could to make sure we had a great day. There were so many thrilling attractions to try out, and we were entertained from the moment we arrived until the end of the day. While the food prices were a bit high, and the wait for the Hellevator could have been shorter, these were minor issues that didn't take away from the overall fantastic experience. I would definitely recommend Playland Amusement Park to anyone looking for a day of non-stop fun, laughter, and excitement!
Wayne C: Staff were rude, limiting the amount of time people can stand in front of the fireplace to keep them self’s warm. Very bad experience overall, wont be coming back again
E: Have been here over the years and while the prices have gone up, everything is still the same. Classic experiences here like the wooden coaster and signature rides/carnival games
Tracy: Great amusement park!! They have fun rides - although when I went the wooden roller coaster was closed :( I hope they include more rides as you can easily go through all the rides in 3 hours. Their arcade section is fun - I actually won a plushie from the bowling game. They have increased their prices - compared to Disneyland this place isn't as worth it, but as a local I come here almost every summer/Halloween!
NT 1: Went last summer. Ridiculously long lines and half the rides(all the good ones) were closed or permanently removed. $60 to stand around all day for kiddy rides, what a joke. I'd rather visit the travelling amusement park that goes to Lansdowne twice a year.
Alexis Saari: Hope the wooden roller coaster never goes
RUMBLE BEE: Super fun for the whole family
Yogi Smith: Looks like kids rides. Maybe 2 adult ones. Overpriced and boring
Natan Asgedom: It's really a great place!
Donald Duck World: Fun park but the roller coaster isn’t open.
pran ratanastian: Long line mid
Freee27 (Freee27): We basically paid to wait in line. They’re pretty much just stuffing as many people as they can to the amusement park so that they can get their money’s worth. We waited about half an hour for a haunted house, the pirate ship and 2 hours and 20 minutes for the beast. As I was waiting in line for the beast, I heard one of the rapid pass users mumble that they had to wait 45 minutes to get on the ride. They paid double the amount to wait for a ridiculous amount of time. This is not worth the price. It’s better to find literally any other attraction than this.
Irina Iris: Winter Fair in PNE was absolutely amazing. Music, decoration, food, skating , holidays spirit, even whether was excellent. Worse to visit next year.
Abeda Rahnumah: Super fun! I always go during the fair! Always great to go in a group. Tons of rides and great fair food to enjoy 😊 also if you want to go to a live concert book tickets early they get sold out quick! Totally recommend when your in Vancouver
Hayat Ahmad: Can’t even enter rides
Adam: Terrible customer service. Manager Vincent and his thug fall security guard assaulted a group in the lineup and then refused to give the group info in an effort to cover it up.Lineups are awful and unless you pay the exorbitant fees ahead of time to skip lines, you will regret the day. May be okay for small kids if you just want to ride some small rides. If you must go, then get BCAA discount and try to go as early as you can if you don’t have the pay-to-play skip-the-line pass. Plan for time to park for free nearby.
Outsider06_: Great place to come with family and kids. Lots of rides and lot of events also happen here. Food is ok ok. But I will suggest try Triple O if you wanna eat inside. Check their site before coming, and if have any questions ask guest service, which are infront of main gate
Sean Xia: Always too crowded
Shiva Y: Always have fun here! Always!

Is pricey to get in if ur on a budget.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …More
Recommend to come here on Christmas event. 🎅🏻🎄Visited on Public holiday Wait time Up to 10 min Reservation recommended Not sure …More

Arpitha t m: Even though the entry ticket is 70$, it is worth a visit. Created in such a beautiful way. We can spend around 2 hours easily with a walk and photos. It has a lot of information relating nature.
Hamza's Fun Channel: WHOA, ONE OF THE BEST SUSPENSION BRIDGES YOU CAN WALK ON!!! I WENT TO VANCOUVER IN 2021 WITH MY FAMILY!!! WE ACTUALLY LIVE IN MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO!!! THIS PLACE GAVE ME ONE OF THE MOST THRILLING EXPERIENCES THAT I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! IN FACT, THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME ON A SUSPENSION BRIDGE, NOT SURE IF MY PARENTS WALKED ON A SUSPENSION BRIDGE BEFORE!!! BUT WOW, I WAS LITERALLY CHICKENED OUT BY THE BRIDE MOVING A LOT WHEN PEOPLE WERE WALKING ON IT!!! OVERALL, I HAD AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE, AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO EVERYONE, LOCALS AND TOURISTS!!! 5 STARS IS WHAT THIS PLACE DESERVES!!!!
MMECBookings: We had a fantastic day at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. The history was fascinating, the bridge, treetop walk, cliff walk and raptor presentations were all excellent. We especially enjoyed the excellent singer/guitarist Melanie by the Trading Post. After the great day we had, listening to her perform and laughing at her anecdotes with a bite to eat a couple of cold drinks was the perfect capper to our day. From looking around at the crowd, we weren’t the only ones who felt that way!
Stacie LeeAnn: It's definitely worth the visit! Very well kept and staff was welcoming and friendly. Will be bringing kiddo to visit next time.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …More
Photoart Popowski: Ich hatte einen tollen Aufenthalt im Park. Die Brücke war ein Erlebnis. Im Besonderen war die Sängerin Melanie Dekker eine Überraschung. Was für eine tolle Sängerin. Es ist ein Besuch wert.
Irene Dekker: The music was exciting and many people took pictures with front row seats
