Britannia Rink: what do users think?
Lakshmi Sowjanya: Come here often for skating class in group setting. The teachers are pretty good and the staff are really helpful..You can take skates for rental by exchanging ur shoes and it's free.
Scott Wong: One of the older rinks in Vancouver, with its charm! Great location to restaurants on Commercial street before or after your visit. You can see the sign of age in the building, but that's part of the experience and nostalgic feeling you get coming here. Would be great if they can in heaters at the seating stand.
Lisa Watson: Great rink!
Kwang s Koo: The ice is always in good condition
Zac Jacobson: An old rink with tiny change rooms where visiting coaches have to walk across the ice instead of around the end of the rink to get to their bench. Our players report that the ice is pretty rough.
A C Zhou: Overall good rink, with lots of skates available for rent and lots of sitting area for parents to sit and watch while waiting for their kids' lessons. Instructors are patient with the younger kids. Parking lot is pretty big, but stalls are a bit tight.
Tom Katie Yee: Friday Night Hockey. First game went 0-0 score after 40 minutes. Epic game..Goalie heaven. BRITANNIA ARENA. Very rare
Alawy Sharifa: Good
Shay Maya: It wasn’t even ice. I went there for my friends birthday party we all hated it cause the rink was recked and there was holes.
Ella Lu: It felt like it wasn’t even ice and the price is a rip off I’ll never go there again and just for the record Killarney Community Centre rink is better then this.
Renée Frenette: Great rink for renting skates and having a fun afternoon of zipping around the ice! I went for "Free skate" and the rink is sectioned off - half for kids/learners and the other for other skaters. Music is playing, but not too loud. Great day! Note: buy your skate pass and/or rentals at the pool building (signs will show the way)
Peter Lin: One of my favorite ice rinks in Vancouver. The place is easy to commute. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. I will continue to come here.
Liz Moran: Fabulous for teaching kids how to skate, especially for free
Jerry Boscariol: Love this rink. Great venue. Beautiful ice. Cannot say the same about the parking. I have been in many rinks and this is by far the worst for parking. Small spots with very few turn arounds.
Joseph Lau: Very convenient location to bring kids for hockey practice.
jesse cusmano: Changerooms could use a update
Randy Galler: fun and reasonable rates
Yuly Paola Ortiz Leguizamo: Good 👍
Craig Tugwood: One of the better ice surfaces around
Bretton Essler: Best ice in Vancouver
Nancy Boucher: Little strange to get into. Must turn into Cotton streat off of Venables. Would've been nice if there had been heaters.

West End Rink: what do users think?
Majker Alex Majkrak: Worst rink for stick and puck sessions in Vancouver. Not sure why city moved Saturday’s stick and puck from best rink around, Hilcrest, to this arena. No parking available, unless you willing to pay 9$. Rink is half of the size, pretty bad for any kind of hockey. Ice quality? Dont let me start about that. Horrible. Disappointment for me. Waste of time to go there
lorenzo nannini: Very nice and affordable. The staff is very kind and ready to help you if you need anything.
María Inés Parnisari: The rink is a bit small, and it's expensive to skate ($7). They don't have a section for hockey during public skate.
Amber Song: Google said that the skating rink was open but the staff said that it closed after the end of March. Please update the website on Google so others don't get misled about this because it took us a lot of time to get there when we could have gone somewhere else a lot quicker. Please fix this problem for the convenience of others.
Ibrahim Shehata: The ice rink is really good, I just wish they open all year long instead of just the winter (they will close the ice by end of March)
Dave J J: The ice rink is run by the City of Vancouver. They are not checking anyone that is entering for Covid vaccinations. Th facilities there are absolutely dilapidated and embarrassing for a city facility. However ice rink times aren't easy to obtain so we keep going (15+ yrs). Come on city planners improve this facility, changerooms, washrooms, seating.
Sebastian Isaza: A bit hard to ice skate ⛸ but the price is fairly decent. (Under 10 dollars)
L Chen: Ice is poor and chopped up. Same drink with no benched. Attendant was late opening up the rink.
Celery Celery: Good rink
Yunduz Rakhmangulova: Good quality skating rink, not busy.
Alexander Tumanov: Skating and skating lessons are the best part of my wintertime sport live. Skating coaches a super funny and helpful. I really recommend to sign up for few courses and improve or just have fund in learning new moves. I have only positive emotion when thinking about next skating on the rink. Great place, great people.
Aldo Rodríguez: Exellent!!!💪
Rinaldo Ferlin (Ray Ferlin): Amszing place and friendly staff
Ron Aloni: Its old school. The staff are lovely and it's just great that the facility exists.
Sergio Lopez: Súper cool facility. Helpful staff, friendly crowd.
Jeff O.: The facility is pretty well maintained and the staff are really friendly. At the pre-school skate there is tons of toys and equipment available, as well as complimentary helmets, and rental skates.
Gestler Mendoza: The rink entrance is on the side of the West End Community Center by Haro Street. My daughter goes here for her 30mins skating class.
Manuel Lopez Gutiérrez: No pierdas el camino!!!
Jiyoung Park: 사람도없고 가격도 괜찮음 다만 문을 12월에는 3시에 닫앗음
Stephanie Cimbala: Was a fun time to take my little niece and sister in law.
anderson oliveira: Nice

Sunset Arena: what do users think?
Ray Nat-Zoe: Great customer service !
Bradley Jones: The arena is incredibly well-maintained and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The playing surface was in great condition. All in all, I would highly recommend the Sunset Hockey Arena in Vancouver to anyone looking for a great place to play some hockey!
Gary L: Nice makeover from when.. Olympics?! Sweet, local rink.. which sounds like they have the usual offerings of programs for the public. 🍻
Joe Kan: For $6.66 plus skates rental, the deal was awesome. Comes with 2hrs and 15 mins of intermission. Watch out for a few show-offs showing their prowess!
Anson Li: Rink looks the same as 30 years ago! Functional. Good for public skate.
1HunnieB: For a skating rink it's exactly what you would expect and the woman was friendly. Great place for field trips.
Marcel: Great place to take the kids! A bit crowded but that's expected during weekdays!
Chris Meyer: She's an old barn, visiting heat doesn't work, poor sight line for watching the game. The rink does have good ice.
Samraat malhotra: Decent place to learn ice skating.
stella k: This rink is better than at Hiilcrest
AC CC: Good for family skates
Junko Noguchi: Came here for public skate. I found women's rental skates are newer this time, and less crowded compared to Hillcrest.
Edward Wong: Ice was good for hockey. Dressing rooms could use a bit of spruxing up but serviceable.
Huyen: Great place for cheap drop-in ice skating!
Amber Pan: Decent crowd and nice rink
Dilorom Pardaeva: A bit old but nice rink. They don’t remove ice during summer time, ice rink is year round in use.
Hayette Bessadi: All teachers are professionals
Mark McKinney: Older rink but plenty of character. Very cold inside, heaters are few and far between.
Tracy: Cold arena but otherwise does the job
zhangliyan rmkj1971@126.com: 一个冰场,用于训练和休闲娱乐,设施齐全
Tee Haynes: Decent place to play hockey. Decent ice surface. Benches are a bit iffy - small gate and no where for defenceman to place fluids/towels

Kitsilano Rink: what do users think?
Jerry Ladovsky: Who doesn't was t to learn to ice skate while visiting Canada
Derek Meng: Really good place to skate around and have fun. Usually not a lot of people in the beginning so it’s probably best to come first. The design looks very nice and (currently) it offers skate rentals for those who don’t have a pair! There are vending machines that are a bit tricky to operate but you can still get yourself a quick snack!(probably not during Covid though…)
Jogdish1000: Nice community rink with a small town vibe.Good ice!
jordan: Vaccine for skating ? Can't have fun here
Robin Rivers: Our favourite local skating rink! This gem is hidden away in the heart of Kitsilano and is one of those true community spaces. The staff is kind and the rink is always in good order.
Robin Ritchie: Nice cashier.Helpful skate rental man.
Kam bansal: Nice place for exercise
Andrew Nelson: Smallwr facility but very well kept rink.
Bryan Berndt: Amazing community center staff
Nexionate: Great place to skate
Anssi Puhakka: Nice staff and inexpensive place to skate
Ryan Montgomery: Old style rink
Rita Soni: A good range of programs available here, a nice sitting area with heat when it's on
Jean: Gem show August and DecemberSelenite wand! 5.00 dollars, perfect size and cut
David Grant: Cool place for a Hockey rink.
Ron Aloni: Needs a refresh. Happy we have a rink.
Quinn Duffy: Old, but the city finally replaced that dark ages tech they called lighting with some nice bright LEDs. I can see! I can see! Also, parking is a gong show when the Farmer's Market is on.
Aria Thompson: Great family friendly place with a clean facility
Nomad Traveller: Great sports venue
Simon Warrington: Good old Canadian community rink
Bradley Gagne: Grant, was there due to school field trip.

Killarney Rink: what do users think?
Shay Maya: Love it. Me and friends come here all the time it’s amazing smooth and staff are really nice :)
Craig Tugwood: Pretty nice for older rink
E M: Nice Rink, staff are helpful, I was disappointed at having to rent skates because the sharpening service was unavailable. Do not rely on being able to get your skates sharpened here.
Michael Beer: Need lots of work i have not gone this weekend
Adam Speir: I play here semi regularly, it's a decent Ice, and totally classic Arena. They keep it nice and cold, which is good for maintaining the ice.I would love there if I could, but I'm sure they wouldn't allow that. Yet.
Marwyn Pangaliman: I like the place,
David Laing: A modern rink with minimal features. Bleachers span the length of the ice. Everything here always seems pretty clean, including the washrooms and change rooms. You'll never need to worry about parking here, as there's ample space for vehicles outside.
Macaw: Made many memories here it's super fun!
Mr. B: ❄️Thursday morning 11:45 discount skate⛸🏒
Johnson Chan (JC): Good rink for ice skating, but nothing special. Skate sharpening service isn't always available. Adult nights only happen once a week.
Abhay Verma: Great experience every time
David Ng: Nice clean facilities. The ice is excellent, and staff here is friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the skate rentals and the concession stand. It can get get crowded of you are a beginner looking for a "calm" location to improve your skating. In any case, my family on this day found that everyone was mindful of each other's space despite the numerous eager skaters out on the frozen sheet.
kameronsun: Nice facility for skating and friendly staff. Skate rentals are great and clean
Vancouver Traveller: Clean facility. Good hard ice!
Salvador Vargas: Excelente lugar para toda la familia
tlee996: Olympic sized rink
Stephanie Hendy: Adult drop in is super fun! Not too busy.
Gael Garcia: Para los amantes del patinaje en hielo,un lugar donde puedes convivir con tus hijos.
Ryan: Great ice.
Pepe: The best rink for public skating.
DOUGLAS ABRAHAMS: Great ice...very clean dressing rooms and a pool next door 😀

Trout Lake Rink: what do users think?
Derrick Zabotel: This nice place held a pow wow there and it was excellent. And is still excellent of course
ivy joseph: Was good even better if coffee booth was open but powwow is spectacular
Moj Noroozi: Comparing to Robson ice rink , this one is way much bigger and less crowded. Shoes rental fee is 11$ (more expensive than Robson’s).it’s an indoor rink so you have the option going to this rink from September till end of March. Free parking available
Michael Yeung: Small but ok
Jason Brar: Kareem who runs the hockey league plays on a team and is incredibly biased he kicked out our team after taking our money because he wanted to win
Greg “#alston_party_bus” Alston: great rink and community center
Rudolph: Great adult skating lesson instructors. Will have to find time to practice the drills learned. Friendly staff as well.
Dylan Tech Studio (딜런 스튜디오): 스케이트장 퍼블릭 오픈 시간이 짧고 매일 열지도 안는다. 꼭 시간표 미리 확인하고 가야함.
jordan: I'm sorry for the poor review but I can't believe ud need a vaccine to skate. This abusive control our government is pushing is just nasty
Tee Haynes: Great sheet of ice and facility. Good place to play hockey. Nice rooms. Was the figure skating training facility for the games
Demetrius Schwab: Ice sheet was good. Disappointing in that they have published hours online but the community centre can change them and you have to call in order to find out the real times.
B Chu: Nice looking facility but from a spectator’s perspective, not great trying to watch a hockey game from the seating area. Your view is obstructed by all the glass stanchions. Not wheelchair friendly at all. Boards are too high for a person sitting in a wheelchair to see over the boards at ice level and no ramp to get up onto viewing area.
Daniella M: Skates aren't verry sharp at all
Jason Mcgarry: Took some kids skating. Tied up 5 pairs of skates. Good times. Great facility for all: family, friends, birthday parties, first dates..
Brian Wong: Nice community centre parking can be a bit tough during busy times.
Lucky Clover: The rink was empty and I got to have a peaceful hangout.
Mario Brillon: I work hard in trout lake all is nice guy
tlee996: Good Rink
Mama DUkes: Way to hot they hold events with no circulation. I had to go outside every 20 minutes in the sun and heat to cool down, go
Carlyle Natrall: Good location. Good facility...low on parking but if your thrifty you can find some nearby when its busy. Good coffee shop.
traxls: Friendly staff and good place for hockey and ball hockey.

Hillcrest Rink: what do users think?
Cameron C.: Very nice ice rink. Ice is well maintained. I cannot comment on other facilities but overall a very nice area. They have a library, basketball court, fitness gym, swimming pool and ice rink all within the same quarters.
Ray Nat-Zoe: Very family friendly and local to the community !
Lucas Wolf: Fantastic ring..well managed. Clean and inclusive to everyone
Ann: One of our favourite places to skate! Good public skate times make it great for dates.
C Clarke: Definitely design over function with the arena seating. Can we stop hiring architects for public works who care more about the aesthetics of things rather than actual sports and spectators?
Maria Anna: Super fun music and great staff fun family time
Quentin Del Vecchio: Nice sport complex
Bart Lau: I really like the rink - spacious , well maintained skate rental , some public skate hours
Peter Liu: 住在这个社区的人有多幸福啊!溜冰、游泳、健身、棒球、图书馆……各种室内外活动场地应有尽有。
Tomas Rosas: Love how big the rink is, totally worth visiting.
Tak and Ching Chan: Good 👍,it also has a café
Douglas Kelly: Nice indoor rink, easy viewing, good staff
Tracy Robinson: Came to see a family member play hockey and I had the best time! There's a place above the rink that's warm and a place right beside the rink but it's a bit chilly so layer the clothes and maybe bring a warm throw blanket for your lap, a warm hat and gloves. But maybe you'll have such a great time like me to warm you up!
E T: Ice skating was great!
Benedict Tachja: Its a good place to skate and do hockey play together with friends and families. All the staffs are friendly and helpful. There is a cafe as well so after skate you can go to the cafe to buy some hot drinks or foods there. Really nice and it is close to the bus stop.
Nick Creery: Great ice over here!
Tom Mulligan: Great place to go skating
Rob Hahn: Cool rink.
Harshal Patel: Good place to try ice skating with friends and family! Affordable prices and rentals were good too. I found shoes sides a bit hard, it started hurting after wearing them for around half an hour.
Alex: Don't have infrared heaters near benches. There is very cold.
Jason Czorna: Very nice facility, but the ice conditions have been terrible lately. Whoever is running their ice resurfacer needs lessons.

Robson Square Ice Rink: what do users think?
ticklemy fancypickle: Classic Vancouver spot
吉盛: This area have heavy urine smell and unclean stairs with injection kits, vandalism public properties during the maintenance time is feel outdated open plaza.
Beatriz Vasconcellos de Barros: I loved this place! Skate rentals are just 5 dollars and you can stay as much as you want. I recommend going on weekdays as soon as it opens as it’s not too crowded yet.
Grace: Wonderful outdoor skating rink! It only costs $5 to rent a pair of ice skates, and it’s super fun. There are lockers available to store your stuff for 25 cents, so make sure to bring change. Even on a weekday, there were a decent amount of people, so I imagine it must be way more busy on the weekends.
Terence Li: This is a very good place to visit
수완: It was so nice to skate in 🇨🇦‼️ The ice condition was quite good. There is a place to rent skates. The size of the ice rink was quite wide and nice. If I can visit this area again, I would like to visit here again!
Google Guide: Awesome place for public skating. There are other various public events in the Square by the Art Gallery too. #letsguide #covid
Carl “Budd” Stymiest UE: Experience ice skating in Vancouver City. A great place for family fun.
A G: All systems, GO!
Christina Fong: This little covered free outdoor public ice rink at Robson Square in the middle of downtown Vancouver is great for kids & learning skaters to try or practice ice skating in winter when there's ice. There are more than enough plastic skating support frames for the beginners to push around & concrete bench seating on one side for spectators. The ice was resurfaced only once while we there there for about 2h, so it's not the smoothest of rinks out there, but I believe the rougher surface is one of the benefits for beginning skaters providing then with some grip. There's a convenient economical skate rental with several staff offering really decent lace up hard boot skates with an adjoining small cafe for drinks & light snacks. Being so small, there isn't tons of space if it's crowded, but we went on a Tues evening so it wasn't too bad. Our group on the ice ranged from 4 to 40 & the kids had so much fun, they have told me we must return! Get your skates & get out there.
Mark Philip Magtibay: Free if you bring your own skates, $5.00 to rent at downtowns only outdoor covered winter skating rink.
Orpheus Vavvas: I was having a bad day came here was happy again
Rebecca Ramlugun Ünal (Beckie): Super friendly staff and fun activity in the heart of downtown
Kumari Soni Umesh: So good, rink is small but for free it's really good
Peter Brett: Still a great skating experience after all these years. Cheap fun in the heart of downtown Vancouver.
Darshana Prachi: Loved skating here, the lines could be big though
Jan Sandberg: Great staff--snack bar was handy, fast rentals, fun playlist
Choy Lim: Fun, Small but good enough for new skaters
Marcos Julio Dominguez Acero: De lo mejor
Anibal Pitoll: So small, too much people, but the price is definitely good
andre viajera: Horrible ice but free ice rink

Killarney Centre Figure Skating Club: what do users think?
angela: There is no supervision during skating class, and few teachers on ice, but several may be higher-level figure skating learners to teach. I do not know if these figure skating learners are qualified as learn-to-skate teachers. Teachers do not pay attention to each learner, only some specific kids.
Haval Kawani: Best one
xkqitlynx: I love the Killarney ice skating place! Went there as a field trip. There are some prop things that you can hold on to skate to not fall. They have seats and some places to sit to watch people ice skate. Im pretty sure you have to rent the ice skating rink.. but im not sure I just went here 3 times for a field trip that's all. Not sure if I will return though. If your going I recommend bringing your family or friends to hang around :)
J L: Great club to learn how to skate, improve hockey skating skills and competitive skating. Coaches are Skate Canada certified and are very supportive of all skaters.
Robert Anderson: Horrible experience, killarney figure skating club pre-can/ can skate is an absolute fraud! The classes are taught by children, literally children. The “assistants” that they have helping the “instructors” are also children, but even younger - not older than like eight years old.Their website shows pictures of adult trainers with small classes with similar age kids. Not the reality at all!Instead, overcrowded classes with all ages and skills grouped together. It is a complete danger to your children to have the skill sets of toddlers on the ice with teenagers.I just called the club to get my kid out of the unsafe program, and instead was told they will not refund unless my kid is hurt - Gordon Kwan the “registrar” was argumentative with me and my wife, completely unwilling to accept any responsibility for such a poorly hazardously run program and to make matters even worse HE EVEN SWORE #*%! at us on the phone. He claimed he wasn’t swearing at us just at another driver in a fit of road rage 😡 that is the calm collected person they have in charge of this program!!!???What a joke, stick with the community centre run lessons unless you want to put your child thru hell.
Onceupontime Qq: 冰上运动
iqz: Very good!!!
