The Dirty Apron Cooking School, Delicatessen & Catering: what do users think?
Nicholas Hermansen: 6am in the morning with a line up 40m long and they have 1 staff working. If there was literally anywhere else to go I would. Great job in staffing…..not!
Henry Duffy: Tasty vegetarian breakfast wrap and a nice coffee, great ambience too although I wouldnt have chosen quite so many Killers songs in a row.....

Northwest Culinary Academy Of Vancouver: what do users think?
Alexandro Rubio: Great place to learn, only took the Basics 1 & 2 courses so far, since I cook for fun, but this place has made me think twice about my career choices, maybe I should have become a Chef! Instructor chefs are polite and knowledgeable, feels like you are cooking with friends and learning is nice and easy.
Chanel Warshafsky: I came to Northwest Culinary Academy as a home cook, looking to advance my skills and make a career change. Northwest exceeded my expectations in every way possible and without a doubt, participating in the professional culinary and pastry program this past year, was the best year of my life. The instructors all made an incredibly positive impact and I am thankful for the newfound confidence I have gained as a result, both in cooking at home, and now working in the field. The entire team at Northwest is extremely supportive and encouraging, they care deeply about every student's journey, interests and are truly dedicated to help students navigate their first steps when entering into the field and continued mentorship throughout one's career. The curriculum and environment is one of a kind, you will truly have the opportunity to dive into your learning, hone your skills and discover a deeper appreciation for your love of cooking, and forever be inspired to follow your dreams!

Nourish Cooking School: what do users think?
Krista Page: Had our team day yesterday and made the ramen and veggie gyoza. As you can see by my choice of stars, it was phenomenal. We all work with youth who are in care and this was just what we needed. Good food, lots of laughs and some drinks! Dan and his helpers (sorry can't remember their names) were awesome. I even ate some mushrooms (I hate mushrooms) and it actually tasted good. So extra points for that. This was a great day and thank you so much everyone at Nourish.
Kevin Hehr: Excellent cooking school and environment. It is a good place to learn new cooking styles that are practical and sustainable. Dan is a fantastic host!

Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts: what do users think?
jen h: I have been fortunate enough to have two events held here for clients. This is a very unique and great team building exercise as one of the events they offer is an iron chef challenge. The basis of this activity is that you are put into teams and tasked with the difficult and creative job of cooking a appetizer and entrée using a secret ingredient that has to be incorporated in both dishes. They hosted our clients professionally and with care which was much appreciated. The experience can come in at a little bit high of a price however, it has been a very successful event and our clients seemed to love it (which is the main goal!). You have to cook for one hour and have access to the kitchen and ingredients and can talk with some of the students that are there as well. It feels very high pressure and depending how you cook or eat it could be either very creative or a little bit overwhelming but it’s all in good fun. After that, the head chef tries out all the dishes and scores everyone. Don’t fret, you do not have to only eat your concoctions after the cooking challenge. You are then presented with a three course meal done by the students. One thing I do wish they offered was perhaps a Feedback card (I understand this is difficult for a client event but could be coordinated to the organizer). The dishes we got for good, the portions were a bit small and some of the dishes were a bit over salted in my opinion but overall it was a great meal and event. There is limited parking and just have to register your car with the business beforehand, otherwise be prepared to get towed.
By my reckoning: I’m an international student who graduated from here, this place was my safe space tbh, at first when I was trying to find Culinary school this is the one who always got the good reviews which I don’t know why, now I know!!! Everything here is so blessing, all chef instructors and my friends are amazing. I don’t wanna say this but I don’t wanna graduate and still stay in this school PS. As the international student, it’s hard at first to adjust but when you do you will love it!!!

Cherry “Aderyn” Thompson: They moved out of their storefront location - maybe just while it’s being renovated?? I’m not sure!A little hard to find now, but found it in the end! You need to go into the building lobby left of Murchies and through to the back left corner. It’s a back room.I love that by giving them your contact info you can get free knife sharpening - even if you didn’t buy the knives there! They have an excellent selection and the prices are good for a brick & mortar. The staff are helpful!
Andrew Mulkani: The best kitchen utensils in Vancouver!
