EA L: Worst school of engineering ever by a mile!! A few personal examples: Finals in fluid mechanics had errors galore, because the teacher didn't care to review his own exam! Not surprising coz he's the teacher that doesn't show up in class! Another final exam had the solutions leaked by the teacher himself! Students grades do not reflect what they learned because grades are scaled up or down all the time. You can read all these and much more on their Reddit page! Teachers, teaching assistants and their superiors do not meet the minimum required of their jobs. Daily you could see that no one is accountable for sloppy work. And it keeps going all year, every year! Study elsewhere!

Jon Sheffield: The food from the culinary arts students is outstanding and reasonably priced. Apart from the limited timing this place rule for downtown food open to the public. The cafe sells butchered meats cheaper than any grocery store.

Munim Chowdhury: Went for a brief visit with my friend as he got admitted in an automotive program in VCC. The space is well utilized, and staff are friendly. Parking has to be done on the street.
kait patt: I was enrolled in doing online classes to upgrade some courses. I had so many problems, not being able to see my classes, not being able to get a concrete answer from anyone just kept getting transferred to someone else. They don't put any prices out for you to see and you will be half way through your course and they want you to complete "part 2" which means re paying. Other I know who have gone here say they were completely used just for their money. This school is all about the money.

R L: Apparently this school doesn’t work for everyone I was told by the instructor - just a select few - it’s not inclusive of all walks of life.8 students from the dental hygiene program failed the first semester. That’s 36.6% failure rate. Instructors do not know how to teach anatomy. When it came to learning anatomy they do not show students how to distinguish between teeth, anomalies or anything of the such. They don’t elaborate on the learning topics. Just verbatim of slides in class. They don’t have frequent testing to ensure information sticks. Also, come 4pm - good luck finding an instructor. They all disappear. As a person, it’s great! classes end at 4pm. but as a learning environment, it shouldn’t close so soon. Lazy people. And if they do see you struggling... instead of helping the student personally they pass the buck to learning services. Like learning services is a tutor in the DH program. They are not. They like to blame the student and lack of studying. Which isn’t the case. They need to teach better. Many students struggled with learning what the instructors want them to learn. They are not clear in what needs to be known.They might have been good decades ago but they sure are out of date now.

B: I believe Library is for student there study quietly right ? But I guess not , we were just trying to do out work in quite place but this lady and her probably beauty student came in talking super loud and distractingly in the middle of library. And her ugly laugh is so irritating to hear .
Amelia C: Horrible instructors. They don't teach you the course properly, and mark you extremely hard on any work. I've been to other colleges, and this one is by far the WORST. Too many people in the class, and can't be bothered to help or even explain how to do assignments properly.

Besides improving their mistreatment, they are proative to cover their mistakes and bully students.There are many schools. You should all avoid this place.

They even dnt entertain your complaints too. I called thr complaint dept even they don’t care abt u..So only time waste…

But I'm getting so sick and tired of their poor customer service. Every time I have to call their Vancouver office and deal with Villy, it makes me reconsider my relationship with this company. She is so condescending and passive-aggressive, with a massive ego. Every time I call I quietly pray to myself that I she doesn't pick up the phone. Great company, just one glaring issue.

The strata was non-responsive to my emergency requests. I finally went to Hillcrest and met with Byron. He came up with a solution for me as such an adaptor does not exist! Although I spent only $13, Byron serves me with lots of patient, helping me to solve my challenge, and more importantly with passion. Hillcrest plumbing ... Byron ... Thank you!
Yi Shen: I called inquiring a tankless water heater installation, a service that they claim to offer on their website. The person that picked up was very nice and helpful, and said that's something they should be able to do no problem but wanted to check with the customer services rep. The call was then transferred to this customer services rep and they immediately told me I need an electrician in a very condescending and rude way. I'm not knowledgable in this field, so I asked why, and they offered no explaination except for repeating the same exact sentence back to me. I was left feeling dumb and unpleasant.

ewa jakobs: Unfortunately, my experience with Uncle Bills Hillcrest plumbing was not very good one ! I booked the replacement of water heater by phone. It was quite urgent because I discover leak around water tank and I was leaving the next day. Winnie gave me a quote $ 999.95, which sound reasonable ( I did some research ) .She did not send me conformation of the quote by e mail, although I did provide mye mail address to her. The job was done quickly the same day, water tank was replaced by Alvaro. Afterthe replacement was completed Alvaro pointed out that the leak detected by me was still there. So it seems that replacement was not really necessary.You can only imagine my surprise when I was charged $ 1000.00 more then I thought my quote was. Winnie claimed that she give me a quote$ 1995.95 not $995.95 . I did not receive responseto my complain, the invoice and the paper work for this job was quite inadequate, no gas sticker was provided , date was not complete ect.The office should be better trained and provideall necessary information and quote PRIOR tosigning work order. This is the practise whichis most of the business are operating ! ! !The office was trying to convince me that the price for water tanks replacement is the best , but I foundexactly the same tank for much lower price in several places ! Notshazza Dooley: We arrived at the Vancouver airport and could not find our transfer to the hotel. We didn't even have the name of the hotel we were staying at as our paper work for the tour didn't mention the name.The gentleman who was from Star Limousines was most helpful in helping us navigate through the hotel's to find ours, he even rang the hotel to confirm our reservations.If this is the service they give to non passengers then I will be definitely recommended booking with them.
John: My family used Star Limousine Services for the trip from YVR to Whistler and back for our spring break vacation. The experience was excellent. The SUV was spacious, clean and comfortable. Our driver, Milan, was top notch. Prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and personable. His driving was impeccable. He communicated with us by phone and text to make sure we were on the same page with regard to the arrangements both coming and going. When none of us were sleeping, he would describe points of interest along the route. He is a credit to your business.We would highly recommend Star Limousine to other travelers.

R Bains: Hired 3 different types of limos for 3 different times in the day for my wedding and reception. Every limo was there on time or even earlier. Very professional and the team at Star was a pleasure to work with. They knew every detail and made sure we were always on the same page. And the limos were the best limos I've seen in Vancouver. I would hire these guys again, no doubt about it.

Monique Green: The service has been outstanding. The staff (shout out to Audrey and all her hard work) always are accommodating even with last minute requests and changes. They go above and beyond and are one step ahead of us (including a booster seat if they see there is a little kiddo passenger). It's that kind of attention to detail and thoughtfulness that is very much appreciated!
Make-A-Wish BC & Yukon: Star is an incredible company to work with! Be it an airport transfer in a SUV or showing up to a movie set in a stretch limo, Star always takes care of our wish kids! The staff at Star is always very accommodating, reliable, and friendly. The reservation process is fantastic; very fast and they always offer helpful suggestions to ensure your trip will run smoothly. We can’t thank Star enough for all of the magic they have added to our wish trips over the years!
