The Old Spaghetti Factory: what do users think?
Linda Hollins: Really quirky place inside. Great food and good service. Nice outside eating area.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Caesar Salad …More
Stéphanie Félix: Le service était rapide. La soupe minestrone était vraiment bonne. Le spaghetti avec meatball était juste correct sans plus. Les prix sont raisonnables pour un resto situé sur une rue touristique.
Tyler Jewett: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
planes3333: Ordered lasagna and calimari to go. I was really dissapointed with the flat, hard, sauceless order. THe ceasar salad was not mixed I had to do it, I really thought it was going to be a good meal but I was dissapointed. I may try it again with a different order but my lasagna tasted like ravioli in a can, I can get better lasagna in the downtown eastside. The staff were nice and I got my meal in ok timing its just I was not impressed with my meal seeing as I spent 35$ and gave a tip to be disapointed. Maybe the other meals are better.
Veronica Naterer: Really cool atmosphere and nice staff.Happy hour drinks were really good but for a pasta place, the pasta was pretty mediocre.Would still recommend this spot though!
Sebastiao Cassiano: Excelente atendimento, ambiente acolhedor.
Ben Vahabpour: Food: 4/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Morgan Anderson: Vegetarian options: Impossible meat balls are available.Parking: Would recommend parking in another district and taking the skytrain to gastown.
Jose Carlos: Took my family from Ontario to have dinner , we go every time there in town, the service was great always checking to see if we needed anything , the food was delicious , there was 5 of us and we all had different dishes and known of us had any complaintsFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Spumoni Ice Cream, Minestrone Soup, Lasagna, Garlic, Caesar Salad …More
Calogera Becker: The food was pretty good. The atmosphere and the decor of the restaurant is lovely. However, the service left a lot to be desired.
Magaly Solis: Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Steph D: I love coming to The Old Spaghetti Factory; they have good food and the atmosphere is always great. The meals here are great value where you get bread, an appetizer, entree, ice cream and tea or coffee for one low price! I don't think there's anywhere else where you get such great value! The restaurant is also a great place to go if you have a large group.
Jade Leah: Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Ravindra Acharya: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Layla Kim: Very reasonable price with delicious foods and desserts.
Thamile Oliveira: Food: Tried the French onion soup for the first time, it was okay, don’t think it is worth pay extra for it. My pasta came really dry, almost no sauce (ordered Seafood Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp), I had to ask for more sauce.Servers: Good service, nothing exceptional.Parking: We went on a Sunday for lunch time, we had to do some rounds until we found a place to park.
Juan Rico: One of the best Italian restaurants I ever had.Enna our server was really kind and nice. The food was fantastic! You have to try the Italian cream soda and the spumoni ice cream.
Le petit Prince: We walked in today as a family. The place is amazing with an old street car (Tram, as we Melburnians say) in the main dining area. Being from Melbourne (with a sizeable Italian population and great Italian food) and having travelled to Italy (particularly the south of Italy) a few times, we believe we *know* our Italian food well: we (I have my wife's permission to say this!) thought that the food was amazing! It was authentic and the service was swift and efficient. Moreover, it was excellently priced. Don't be carried away by the thought that the price you pay for the food will beget a smaller portion - the portions are more than enough for a hungry traveller after you have spent the day travelling up and down Vancouver! In fact, our child and I did not even accept the dessert (included in the price) - we were so full. The wine menu was adequate without being out of the world with only one red wine from Canada - this needs to change - you guys are short changing yourself.
Merceria Sol y luna: ¡El lugar increíblemente decorado y laComida muy sabrosa!

Hawksworth Restaurant: what do users think?
Maya Bourgi: Me and my boyfriend tried the tasting menu. Hands down the best meal I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Must try! We’ll be back when we visit Vancouver again :)

Sandy Zhou: Leaving an extra star for the crème brûlée which was actually tasty. The presentation was there, as was the service but everything felt like a twilight zone episode - the appearance of good food but no taste, the appearance of good service but no warmth, the appearance of good decor but no ambience. Honestly felt like I was sitting in an alien spaceship pretending to be a restaurant. The food was extremely bland. I added salt and pepper every bite cause I couldn’t taste anything. Then the service kinda felt like the movie The Menu - incredibly attentive but no warmth. Almost as if management whips employees into a state of docility. And the decor! Expensive I’m certain but I felt like I was sitting in Homesense. What I’m impressed with is how do you charge fine dining prices for something so… cheap? Like dude c’mon I get better service and food at the hole in the wall mom and pop shop down on Davie Street. I pay the same prices at Elisa and Blue Water and they are far better. What’s interesting is we love our Hawksworth cookbook. The recipes in there are super tasty. But what the heck happened to the restaurant? This is our first time and last time.
Can Comertoglu: Good atmosphere and service. Great wine list. Delicious but smaller portions.Overall worth a try if you're in the area.
Niall Jones: Hawksworth is a restaurant that is recommended on various lists, is very expensive and has some awards. In my opinion, the meal/experience here does not live up to any of the above. The food certainly is not bad, in fact it is nice! But is it good enough for you to ever talk about it again? Or recommend to friends afterwards as somewhere they just gotta try? No. It’s fairly lackluster. The restaurant had no vibe, no atmosphere. The food was standard and uninspired, albeit very well made and high quality. The service was friendly but ultimately nothing to write home about.Honestly, save your money and go elsewhere. Our experience was by no means negative but we had so many other way better meals and dining experiences for less money and we felt that dining at Hawksworth represented, disappointingly, money and time that could have been spent elsewhere.
Samantha P: A long standing institution in the city, situated in Hotel Georgia in downtown Vancouver.Hawksworth had a lot of fanfare when first opened, and was one of the restaurants that were top notch and fine dining.Over the year, their reputation has slipped, possibly due to other competitors with similar approaches and style of dining service.I went recently with friends and Hawksworth did not disappoint. However, it also did not impress.Service was thorough and attentive. This is what carries the restaurant to this day, most, in my opinion.Food though is not spectacular. They no longer offer a wagyu beef burger but do have their house burger which is good but runs on the salty side.Decor and restaurant setup are beautiful and great for a date night or special occasion. The food just isn't worth the hype or price.Would return, since mussels are good. They also do a great brownie.
Kathryn Peries: Food was not satisfactory at all and kitchen manager (Dom?) was extremely rude when I complained about my fish smelling like it had spoiledFood: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Bruce Fullerton: Great service and delicious food really enjoyed the night would go back again for sure!
Harry Granger: We had a fantastic evening. Great food and fantastic service from the staff who helped us celebrate our honeymoon. Thank you!
Amir Taghiakbari: Great taste
Jenny Anderson: Had a birthday dinner here.Food was pretty good, but the portion was so tiny.Just beware, order more food if you are hungry^^
Scott A: Lunch was incredible, service was even better. Patrick was one of the best waiters we have ever had. Worth the visit for sure, food and cocktails were all amazing!
Karim Burnaby: Very disappointing. I received a Easter Menu via email. We went specially for the halibut dish and to our surprise they did not have it o. The menu. We showed the assistant manager the Easter special email to honor the the promo. It took 45 min to get our food and they were nit even busy in the dining room. To boot We got chicken instead of halibut Then the manager had the audacity to show us the menu again to indicate there is no halibut on the menuVery disappointed!
V P: First time here, but other than the Caviar, other dishes didn’t impress me. Ribs and lamp shoulder are both too lean in my opinion, even though they are falling apart, but they’re too lean so they tasted very dry, needs a bit more fat to add flavour. The East Coast oysters were even smaller than Kusshi oysters, and I’ve been to the East Cost, most oysters were big and plump. Other dishes were just standard, no wowing factor. Not worth it for the price.
James Koh: Great customer service and outstanding of quality food
K.T.: One of best restaurant in Vancouver and would love to keep coming back. Special thank you to Patrick for treating us extra special and delivering a first class customer service experienced. I highly recommend this restaurant and also look for Patrick and ask him to serve you. He will never disappoint you.

Tojo's Restaurant: what do users think?
Ashley Choi: Huge disappointment. Had the Omakase and the portions were incredibly small with 6 plates. Tempura sauce was tasteless and salad had too much vinegar. Flavours were not balanced. A roll you might find elsewhere for $10 is $30 here and is nothing special. Save your money and choose a hole in the wall family restaurant instead - you will have a much better experience and balanced flavours.

Marco Osellame: The highest quality sushi! I’ve been coming here for years and it is by far the tastiest sushi I’ve ever had! Unreal sashimi portions and delicious rolls! Worth the price and you won’t be disappointed!
Frank Hannig: One of the best authentic Japanese restaurants still around. Traditional sushi preparation by longtime chef Kuni. High quality, good prices. Very good lunch specials. Dave Bee: I went there in Sept this year.Drove past daily says since 1982 I believe.Must be good.Nope. Ordered dynamite rule hmm rice dry too bad.California rule hmm rice dry and tasteless. We were hoping for so much more.Tempura was 1/3 of a pepper too big and too much tempura. The prawn tempura was good.Beef tarayaki was too sweet.I was wishing that I had had more rice and less beef tarayaki too sweet.Believe it or not I will go back.Maybe it was an off night. Will give benefit of dought. If this is what you want then go an enjoy .
Jason Bailey: Authentic Japanese. Not fancy, just done right with excellent.
Baking Arts Academy: If you are looking for a authentic Japanese restaurant and you want to feel like you are in Japan, you should come to Koko, the restaurant building is just like those one in Japan.Starting from the very sensible and friendly staffs follow by the yummy foodSushi is in right sizes, rather than those Western infused sushi with big chuck of rice, fish are fresh.Tempura are crispy and crunchy with the juice veggie inside. The chicken teriyaki has a hint of smoky flavor and it is very juicy. The best dish is the cucumber salad, you will be amazed by the sushi chef’s knife skills and this dish is perfect for someone who is looking for gluten free or Vegan.Love it !
Andrew Young: Japanese owners and very delicious, traditional food! Local gem 💯‼️ The best Chirashi Don in Vancouver.. period
Mike Mckenzie: This place has amazing sushi! Quality and portions are top notch. I've been eating here for 35years and its never disappointed!!!!!
Dario Nar: By far the best sushi ive had in this city at this price point. Everything was fresh and delicious. Great customer service too. Highly recommend it
Helen To: Great service, great sushi! We had a table of 5 on a Thursday evening and food arrived in reasonable time. Dinner came to about $50 to 60 per person. There was no parking for the restaurant but there was plenty of street parking right in front of the restaurant.
Ian Zhou: Jumbo Dynamite Roll is a must get!
Ma Pe: There was 3 of us. We ordered a lot of food, and a lot of alcohol. Food was extremely fresh. Service was very polite, and friendly. It was quite busy. Especially for only 2 servers, (from what I could see), and only one sushi chef. Food did take a lil while to get to our table. I would've given 5 stars, if food had arrived, even 5 minutes sooner than it did. But regardless, it was still worth the wait.Definitely coming back here again, VERY SOON.KANPAI ! ! !.
Erin C: Very pricey + small portions + average quality = disappointed customer.
Michael Chen (夜典): This is closer to a Japanese sushi than it is an American sushi which is more main stream here in North America for it's heavy taste and saucier seasoning. The taste didn't bother me too much, except the chicken kara age which feels a bit well done. However this is a mid price range Japanese restaurant and I think I'm just more comfortable getting sushi from other places with a lower price point.
Heather M: The food is made very well but the service leaves much to be desired. After being sat, we waited forever to order and once we did, the food came sporadically - my mother got some of hers then I got some of mine about 10 minutes later. It made for an uncomfortable lunch.

Riverway Clubhouse: what do users think?
Brandon Wong: Came here for dinner for a Mother’s Day celebration. The food was absolutely delicious! Unfortunately the service was quite subpar. The server seemed flustered, forgot our orders and the service was slow. Everyone has off days, so still a 5 star review for the food and view! Nice water feature with the golf course in the background. The price point is quite good with the average meal costing $20-30.
Peter Cross: Came tonight for dinner on a whim. Turns out it was a 3 course dinner thing. So, there were 2 options ribs or surf and turf. Went with the ribs and it was good value for the money. We came near closing time and maybe that impacted service? Although they were less busy than usual and sometimes that can slow things down too for some places. Service was ok, the speed was at the point of irritation. Not that the time to prep was long, I imagine it was all ready to go in the kitchen. But the time spent looking at dirty dishes and waiting was a bit long. The corn salad for starters was ok, a bit light on the dressing. The ribs were tasty with mashed potatoes and green beans. The decedent chocolate cake was a bit dry and canned whipped cream can be left off a dessert that has sorbet.I have to say that we went for sushi in North Van this week and paid nearly the same amount and with this meal we came home with almost a full rack of ribs as leftovers and the salad we got with our meal was actually a salad. So I have to say that they do provide good value and the service was not terrible. The gent stayed on top of my water and the water was wonderfully cold on a hot day. I would return on a non 3 course day and try the other things on the menu. They have some nice options and the view and room are great.

Kibune Sushi Restaurant: what do users think?
hannah rose cadete: We went to this restaurant for having a birthday dinner. Unfortunately, the service is so poor when we were all done ordering our food, the server comeback again in less than 10min to confirm our order if it was correct and that time it was understandable to confirm the correct order. After that one, we waited more than 1 hour for our food to be served. when we eat our order, there is a fish scale in the sushi food and the water they served had dust.Hopefully, the owner/management will improve their services and make sure they will satisfy their customer.
Kelly Z: Fantastic setting, food and service. If you have an appreciation for good quality Japanese food, highly recommend! Loved everything we got!
Hana Tea: Waited almost 1.5 hours for our food with no apology. Asked for extra rice because there was very little in the $42 dish ordered, and they said the miniature bowl of rice would be $4. After keeping people waiting for 1.5 hours, the very LEAST you could do is offer them RICE or TEA or ANYTHING for free to try to make it right. Never had such poor service at a Japanese restaurant. We ate and left still sooo hungry because we didn’t want to order more and wait that long again (or pay those prices for such poor service). We went home and made food for everyone. The miso soup was also a letdown… basically just broth. They have lost customers from the neighbourhood. Such a waste of time and money. I felt embarrassed to have brought my guests there. We should have gotten takeout and brought it to the beach instead.
Joshua Fujimagari: Delicious fresh sushi. Authentic Japanese teahouse atmosphere. Friendly Master Chef and staff. If you love Japanese cuisine, Kibune is the place to go!
Kelly Chan: They mostly operate off reservations but we were lucky enough to get a table a first seating. The server was really knowledgeable and made great recommendations. The sushi chef is a pro - we were told 40 years of making sushi!Would not say it's affordable but it's definitely high quality. The Chefs selection came with 9 pieces of sushi and was $40. Veggie tempura was also great - light batter and excellent veggie flavour, unlike some more oily tempuras I've had in the past. The Okinawa beer was also nice and refreshing, very easy to drink.Nothing disappointed and everything tasted very fresh. I look forward to coming back with a reservation. There seems to be many returning customers based on an interaction I observed between another customer and the server.

Joseph: 好有驚喜!!!魚處理得好好,廚師很好,菜色不在菜單上,都可以點。👍👍👍
Jack Chang: We just got back from Japan after an amazing month of culinary experiences and wanted to have a more authentic experience. Unfortunately, the sushi here is mediocre at best. Watch out for bones and scales in your tuna.
Andy Quan: Delicious sashimi. The fresh seafood in Vancouver is really incredible. That night happened to be very quiet, so it felt like we had our own personal sushi chef and waitress, and both were as nice as could be. We also had some Japanese standards: tempura and agedashi tofu, oh, and an octopus seaweed salad, and they were all excellent. And they've been around for 40 years, which makes it nice to be experiencing such a neighbourhood institution.
Coral Guan: Host was super nice and friendly from the moment of me calling for reservation. Food was really good and fair price. Will definitely come back again
C Alexander (yorksgiftworld): Pretty good sushi and great service!
Louise Araujo: We came here because it was close and convenient while we were at the beach. Big mistake. The food was overpriced. We waited over 30 min for sushi… there was 2 other people there and they already had food. The food also was mediocre at best... not worth the price. The yam was still hard and had a weird taste.
Advait Badkar: A true gem of a place. So glad I was introduced to this restaurant by a long time friend who is local to the area. No frills, authentic, fresh sushi. Julie-San and Endo-San have a true passion for what they do. They are very focused on quality and this means that one might have to wait a bit for the food to come out. At 70+ yrs Endo-San is bursting with energy. The way he works, his knife skills, his attention to detail and overall is focus on the customer are worth the little wait for food to come out. After all he is the one-man machine that’s handling the “back office”. Julie-San focuses on the front office and is as gracious as she is polite and welcoming. We had a wonderful experience and I hope to come back again soon.
29 29: I’m Japanese. This is not sushi at all. The restaurant looks real Japanese sushi restaurant but taste doesn’t deserve for money.Im sorry to say this. Sushi is not just sliced fish on the rice. Wasabi is not just green paste. There is a reason we put ginger next to sushi. They don’t understand any of sushi. There are always reasons we use wasabi, vinegar and ginger. Nowadays you can learn anything from Internet especially about sushi, but they didn’t.It doesn’t matter who make sushi but I want them to understand what is sushi at least.
paul magnus: Sublime & happening all at once.
Victoria J Lee: By far the best authentic Japanese sushi restaurant in Vancouver. Since I no longer live in the city, I made sure I set aside one evening for dinner here. Our server was so lovely and the food was delicious and fresh. They are operating with two staff members , so please be patient for your food. Trust me, it is so worth it.
Ateret Ben-Zvi: True authentic no-frills Japanese food, what a pleasure. If I lived here I would definitely be a regular
Pat Chaisang: The best sushi place in town! Friendly service that makes you feel like home.
Vansushi 777: Good bento sushi shop🍣🍣🍣🍣🍣
Tatyana Slavkova: If you're in the area, definitely check out Kibune sushi. It's a small restaurant, so a reservation is recommended.Opted for the Chef's choice sushi (pictured in the photo). It was amazing, so we ordered a couple more nigiri from the daily specials menu, which were great too. We'll definitely be back!
Vincent K: Incredibly high quality sashimi and personal, friendly service. The place to come if you’re looking for fresh fish.

Nirvana Restaurant: what do users think?
Michael Yue: This is our place for Indian food. But they recently had a fire. We are hoping that they will re-open.
Tyler Greentree: Nirvana is my favourite Indian Restaurant in Vancouver- have been supporting this lovely, family run business since discovering it over 15 years ago. The best vegetable jalfrezi and aloo gobi going. Cannot wait until it is open again - I miss those fresh and perfectly balanced flavours!
Kevin T: There was an apartment fire at the restaurant.
Amit Pal: Nirvana seems to be owner operator operations. The lady at the front counter is really sweet and caring. However for the ambience I would give it a 4 star out of 5. Customer service 5 out of 5.Not being from the area I came to Indian food in a tourist area. The location has good business for to go and sit down. Most of the customers are non-indian. As we ordered our food starving, we were surprisingly shocked by lack of taste, and flavor of the food. I would suggest if your taste more with Indian spices maybe head to Surrey.I believe the owner has a good business and runs it with pride for her clientele.I wish her continued success.Vegetarian options: Various options for vegetarian and veganParking: Being downtown Vancouver parking is hard to find.
Ignatius Annor: In Vancouver for Pride weekend and a getaway. Google searched Indian restaurant near me while at "the village" and Nirvana restaurant was just 15 minutes walk from me. I ordered Lamb Vindaloo and opted for 5 spicy level, just because I haven't had chilly in a bit. This meal tasted like a homemade one, and together with the ginger Naan bread, the treat was worth. The masala chai tea was also very good for the tea lovers. And oh, did I tell you about how super friendly the staff is? So when in Vancouver downtown, drop by in there and get your belly filled really good. Because that's exactly how I am feeling right now.
Brendon Koenig: Incredible food and staff. If you’re looking for amazing, authentic northern Indian food look no further than Nirvana! Don’t sleep on this place, you won’t be disappointed!
Gursharan Singh: One of the best places for authentic North Indian food on Main 3
Isaiah Moore: Best PLACE EVER!!!! The owner are so hospitable. Will 100% be going back
Graeme Rempel: Best Indian restaurant I have eaten at, great food and hospitality! Highly recommend!
First Aid Pro: Amazing food and even better customer service. Price was more than fair and servings was quite large. I had the chicken curry and it was the best curry I’ve ever had in years. Highly recommend 10/10!!
dk sharmii: We had okra masala , was really good and fresh , definitely recommend it. The service is really friendly and was really happy about it .
Pantha Vohra: The food is GREAT here! Proper home cooked Indian meals that won't leave you feeling white washed after.
GNM JB: Stop Robbing people You can buy gold in these menu prices.
Avdhoot Malokar: I have been to many Indian restaurants and tried delicious Indian food. Now on Nirvana restaurant is on my favorite places list. Also the uncle and aunt who served me the food made me feel at home. Thank you so much for great food and great service-Avi
Taseen: Great food good service
Rohit Prakash: Tandoori gobhi is outstanding!!
Ray Chladny: We we're very excited to see the high reviews and expecting a wonderful Indian supper. When we got it all the vindloos, and curry were total soup and the rice was dried out. The worst Indian food we've ever had. Total waste of money. Yuck 🤮
paulsb241: I have the cauliflower and chicken meal today and it was amazing! Will definitely order it again soon!
Adrianna Phan: Fantastic food and great service!
Andrew Irwin: Very nice place! Nice quiet atmosphere. I was here for lunch with a friend and really enjoyed it! Very good food and lovely staff! Thank you very much!
Reid West: Best restaurant in Mt pleasant by far. It is my go to spot to bring friends and family from out of town. Excellent food, service and atmosphere.
