Diego Esperanza: It’s an heaven of side dishes for lunch special.I always wondered homemade style korean dishes, so I gave it a try.You can taste 10+ flavours for a meal! It’s not super fancy restaurant with tiny amount of course menu. Me and my buddies spent $35-$40 ish per person.Service was not super fast but it was understandable considering numbers of plates they prepared. It was a healthy meal with some marinated vegetables.
Nicole Oh: I went to Vancouver for the business trip and brought my colleague to here.Everything is so delicious😋 and the price is reasonable considering the amount of food!I wish Toronto had this restaurant as well.

Abigail Choi: This is my go to Korean restaurant in Vancouver. My favourite dish is the LA Kalbi which is short ribs on a hot plate! I would also recommend the seafood pancake, the ttobboki (note that medium is pretty spicy, I would recommend starting with mild spice), spicy tofu soup and their bibimbap! This place does get busy but it’s worth the wait!Parking is street meter parking.
D Ng: Recommended dishes Beef Bulgogi, Seafood PancakeMore
J V: Get the fried chicken
Phuong Le: We were in for dinner close to closing time. Asked if could we have japchae without onion since I didn’t like it, turned out they use mixed veg so I have no choice. My dish came out with TRIPLE amount of onion . Even worse, the beef was not even well-done, it was on “congratulations” level! One more thing, it was full of pepper, I have tried japchae from many Korean restaurants but this made me feel like it was invented from an another planet.Service was ok, I didn’t expect much since we were asking for water TWICE when other tables were leaving and only us ordering the last minute order.Still tipped 15% since I have been in the industry for a very long time. Hope it delivered to the staff and wishing they would get better. Not recommend for at least three more months.

K Y: VERY generous portions. We order the two-person Gam Ja Tang bowl with an extra ramen packet and it could easily feed 3-4 people.Tasted delicious but I will add that the spice level tends to be lower than most Korean restaurants. We requested medium spice, which normally for Koreans is burn-your-mouth-off spicy, but it just had a pleasant kick.

Kook Korean BBQ Restaurant: what do users think?
Vicky Díaz De Rivera: Deliciosa la comida! El personal muy atentos
kathy h: Kook BBQ had delicious marinated meats. I really enjoyed the rib finger, beef tongue, and the yangnyeom galbisal. The service was friendly. It's a busy place so make sure to make reservations.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Joce Lee: Great service! Recommend to make resevstion a head of time or you end up waiting 2+ hrs as walk in. Was there for a friends birthday. There was 6 of us and we ordered the $240 combo. Plenty of food to eat and unlimited side dishes. Staff was prompt and was always around to help! Definitely recommend!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Funghi S: Recommended dishes BBQ Meats, Combo AMore
Kim: I really wanted to like this place! Very modern and clean interior. Everything seemed new and authentic. HOWEVER, all marinated meat was EXTREMELY SWEET. TOO SWEET. We ordered a combo because I didn't know which one is good and all combo meat was marinated. After trying beef, pork, chicken all overly sweetened, my palate was ruined and we couldn't continue. Korean bbq is coming with sauce so it doesnt have to be seasoned that much. I could taste meat was really soft and good but such a shame it wasnt seasoned properly. 양념 고기들이 다 너무 달아요.
Albert Edrico: Love the sides! Great service!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Bob Kreut: Quality of meat is fantastic, side dishes are done right (15 of them, and refills free), and the staff is absolutely the best. Did a combo for 6 with 6 of us and it was so much food that we were all totally (over)satisfied. (I suggest getting the fried chicken as one of the options). Best Korean bbq I’ve had in Vancouver.
BlueBeast Gamer: Food is ok, but not that tasty. It is pricey. But there are some good restaurants better than kook BBQ.Food: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Adrineh: Very busy place. Food was tasty and service was good.Recommended dishes Spicy Hot Pot, BBQ Meats …More

Carolyn N: We had a dinner here for a party of 10 a few weeks ago, and we really enjoyed it. We ordered a couple combinations to share, and all the food was delicious. All the side dishes that came with the meat were really fun, and we enjoyed trying a bit of everything. The service was good, and the servers were very friendly. The restaurant was a bit loud, and the food is definitely expensive. Overall, we enjoyed it and I would consider coming back here again, but maybe with a smaller group.

Cynthia Su: Kook is a modern Korean restaurant bursting with delicious BBQ, japchae, qyoza, seafood pancake, and soup. Everything we ordered was flavourful and made to perfection, but it was the incredible customer service that set this place above all else. The three servers working on May 8th in the evening were extremely attentive, intuitive, kind, and humble. They also attended to every table with genuine smiles and laughs. Despite their busy evening, they even sang happy birthday to my brother and his girlfriend while bringing out the cake we bought.I highly recommend this restaurant!
Kaley Tsang: Kook provided us a truly exceptional dining experience. The food was fresh and outstanding, with amazing barbecue techniques that delighted our taste buds. The staff, especially Habib, were super friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. We all enjoyed our dinner tonight! Awesome!
Chau Tran: Best Korean bbq in VancouverFood: 5/5Recommended dishes BBQ Combo C, Soup Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot …More
Pafi: Super good, but wait was so long. We went on a saturday evening I think, and they said they don’t take reservation (not sure if its weekends only or always). Anyways, we ended up waiting for 2 or 2.5 hours. We had time to kill anyways so we decided to have dessert first in a nearby place. We got the 4-people set. Includes meat, japchae, soup, dumpling, a small salad, rice and 15 different banchans (side dishes). Side dishes and lettuce were refillable free of charge.
Ayuchi Goto: My favourite K BBQ place hands down in town! So much varieties of banchan, galbi and all the meat was so delicious! Plus the service is great. The guys are on top of topping up whatever you need and are super friendly. I haven’t left and I already can’t wait to come back❤️
Scott Van Bolhuis: Wait times are too long
Bryan: Came here for my birthday with a large group. Dinner was great with quick service and amazing food. I highly recommend this spot for birthday dinners.
Tam Nguyen: Service and food was excellent! Kook’s has been my go-to whenever my friends and I crave korean BBQ. Would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a place with friendly staff and delicious food!Just to keep in mind that with reservations you’ll be able to dine-in with your preferred time. My group did not make a reservation and the wait time was roughly ~30-40 minutes! This was perfectly fine since we had expected it—but for those who are impatient, I would highly recommend making a reservation prior to coming!

Kosoo Korean Restaurant - 1st Branch with delicious gimbab and k sushi: what do users think?
Bruce Chang: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
David A: Delicious Korean food, but slightly more expensive than a few other Korean restaurants that serve similar food/quality. Also, the portions are a little bit small. Having said that I highly recommend the Pork Belly, and the Military Soup! Two of my favourite dishes. My only feedback is they use cooking onions quite liberally with the pork belly and often times it's a bit excessive. I will make sure to request less onion next time but otherwise it is very delicious. Also, the pork belly has five layers (ogyeopsal), which may be different than what you may be used to 3 layers (samgyeopsal). I prefer the 5 layers (thick pieces with skin) so Kosoo is my go to place for pork belly. The atmosphere is quite busy on peak times and the wait can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour on average. Servers are friendly and the seating area is okay (kind of squished).
Jack Jones: Restaurant doesn't have a sanitizer in this pandemic world and even when asked for it, they are saying sorry we don't have it. Sounds so professional.
Alex Kokke: This become pricy without any reason, the food is good, but this location has the worst server experience.Literally 1 server or 2 for the whole restaurant, they need more servers or bussers. They forget what you order or what do you want.
Alice Wu: It’s my friend’s birthday today and decided to come here to celebrate. I understand that restaurants do not except outside food or drinks which is fair, but cake was an exception at all of the places we’ve been to. I think deciding to celebrate at kosoo shows our appreciation for the food, but the server’s attitude was a big disappointment.
Jerry wen: My friend birthday today and they said to me can’t eat birthday cake here which is ridiculous and rudeRecommended dishes beef tataki 牛肉塔塔基 …More
Madhawa Dhasanayaka: The restaurant is known for its authentic Korean cuisine, which is prepared with the freshest ingredients and cooked to perfection. The dishes are bursting with flavor and have a unique blend of spices that will tantalize your taste buds. From traditional Korean BBQ to savory stews and soups, there is something for everyone on the menu.In addition to the delicious food, the service at Kosoo is excellent. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, providing an exceptional dining experience for guests. However, as the restaurant is quite popular, it is recommended to make a reservation in advance to avoid any disappointment.Overall, Kosoo Korean restaurant is an excellent choice for those who love Korean cuisine and are looking for a high-quality dining experience. The food is exceptional, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is lively and enjoyable. It's a must-try for anyone visiting Vancouver, Canada.
Chanil Jung: First off, I have to say that the fried chicken at Kosoo is absolutely delicious. The batter is perfectly crispy and crunchy, while the meat inside remains tender and juicy. They offer a variety of flavors, including original, soy garlic, spicy, and honey butter, so there's something for everyone. I particularly enjoyed the soy garlic flavor, which had just the right amount of sweetness and savory garlic flavor. In addition to the fried chicken, Kosoo also offers a variety of other Korean dishes that are equally delicious. The bibimbap is a standout, with a flavorful mix of rice, vegetables, and protein that is sure to satisfy. The side dishes, such as the kimchi and pickled radish, are also great. The service at Kosoo is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is casual and cozy. The restaurant is relatively small, so it can get quite busy during peak hours, but the wait is usually not too long.Overall, I highly recommend Kosoo for anyone looking for delicious Korean fried chicken and other Korean dishes in Vancouver. The food is top-notch, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is welcoming.
dhs threecard: 맛잇네요~Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Rain Yehc: Could not recommend to others, due to their lack of care with take out and delivery. I call to ask if the order to be canceled as I had entered the wrong address, they said they can’t, and asked me to order again. So I did. And I call back to confirm that I have ordered again. But not only they could in fact cancel, they end up canceling my new order with the correct info. With their lack of care and inability to follow instructions even just lying to me, I would just say don’t bother.
Mark Pattrakorn: One of my favorite korean restaurants.
Vancouversal YVR: 물냉 비냉 개꿀 돼지갈비 개꿀비프타르타르 주문하면 타코와사비까지 나옴맛있다 냠냠
T C: Excellent experience we had here at this restaurant. Tasty food and good portion size. Service was quite decent as well. We especially appreciated the taste of Korean style sausage. Also the broth of army stew was rich. Parking is available behind the building for $3 an hour. We will return soon to try their other dishes. Overall, this is a pretty nice Korean restaurant to try if you are in the area.
Elif Ceyda Kucuk: It think it is the best Korean restaurant in Vancouver! Super delicious and nice atmosphere
Jamie Krob: We've been here twice so far. Fried chicken wasn't as crispy as we liked. We liked the kimbap (Korean sushi) here our first visit however last time was a bit of a disappointment. The seaweed was very chewy and ingredients didn't seem fresh overall. Hopefully next visit is better.
Jackson W.F. Chu: Kosoo has two restaurants in downtown Vancouver which can be confusing if you search for them in Google Maps. My fried and I tried the one on Cardero in downtown Vancouver and went for the $20 per person lunch course. The set menu lets you try 11 dishes which is fantastic if you want to try a variety of Korean dishes for a reasonable price. The dishes that were served when I went were: (1) Tuna Tataki, (2) Mushroom Salad, (3) bibimbob ball, (4) Kosoo taco, (5) Japchae, (6) D-duk galbi, (7) Grilled mackerel, (8) 24-h pork belly, (9) miso soup, (10) a rice bowl, and (11) matcha crème for dessert. My favourites were definitely the tuna tataki and kosoo taco – you only get one piece for each so I would definitely go back to try those again but with ‘bigger portions’. The restaurant itself is also rather spacious with very modern decorations and a rather inviting atmosphere. The servers were very attentative to me and my friend as we worked our way through our 11-course meal – bringing the next dish as we quickly gulped down each new one. Definitely recommend Kosoo’s lunch course for anybody wanting to try something authentic and Korean in Vancouver. I’m keen to go back and try their dinner options now.

Joon's Kitchen: what do users think?
J Ace: This is one of the best sushi places in Vancouver! The seafood pancake and the salmon sashimi are two of the best items I've ever had!Chef Joon is the nicest person, we've eaten here everyday this week since first trying it!
Ala Har: It was ok. A little expensive for sushi, but I recognize prices are going up everywhere. I ordered agadashi tofu - it was $8 for 5 small pieces and it was so-so, ordered a tuna avocado roll which was 6.95, it was pretty small and not very much tuna. I also asked for it to be spicy, like a spicy tuna roll, and they just gave me a side of spicy sauce for $1.50 extra. The spicy sauce was really tasty though! Would not be my go to for sushi.

Runru Liu: I’ve been here twice. You get what you paid for. Premium food at premium price. Yes, it’s a little expensive. But when it comes to sashimi, I dare not to try the cheap ones.
Philip Nesrick: The best Japchaee in the city, the only thing I would change to it is add 20-30grams of meat extra which would make this japchaee the best in the world.

I used to ask for mild for spicy soup but after a while, I can handle the heat!Recommended dishes 烤肉拌饭 bulgogi bibimbap, Spicy Soup with Soft Tofu Served with Rice …More

Lisa Zhang: Visited Yook a couple times for dinner and both visits were positive. Food came quickly, hot, and delicious. I recommend the Bibimbap with Spicy stir fry chicken, seafood pancake, and La Galbi. Their side dishes were generous and good as well.

K Kim: 음식의 양이 다소많족스럽진 않았지만 갈비찜은 맛잇엇으며 막국수는 애매한맛이었습니다.
Shonnah: I'm honestly not picky with Korean places, so I thought it was pretty good. I was craving cold buckwheat noodles, and their Mak-guksu didn't disappoint. It was enough to fill me up, yet light and refreshing. My partner got the Spicy Chicken on rice, which was also very good. The chicken could've been spicier, but there were crispy bits that added good texture and flavour was on point, being one of those sweeter marinades. I honestly have no complaints and would definitely come back. Value is good for the quality of food.
Julie Zhu: VERY DISAPPOINTED!! I came here after reading the reviews however the food did not match my expectations. I tried the spicy pork belly, seafood pancake, pork bone soup, chicken dakgalbi, seafood tufu soup. Everything was below average. The only thing I enjoyed was their kimchi. Other than that Nothing stood out. Overall not worth the price and was really disappointing.Service wise was not good considering we were 5 ppl and wanted to sit at a bigger table instead of squeezing in at a table for only 4 ppl. After asking the server agreed to sit us the bigger table. After we ordered food then she came up to us and said because we sat at a bigger table she has to charge 18% gratuity which is illegal since that’s only allowed for table of 8 or more. Plus the restaurant is pretty much empty so there’s no reason why she should have done that. Also the server was a manager as well. I agreed to pay for the gratuity since I was normally tip 15-20% anyways. However the service was not worth the gratuity that we paid. They never checked on us even one time. We had to call them to ask for bowls and spoons and ladles when we ordered a huge pot of the pork bone soup.Overall food is 3/5Overall service is 2/5Price is on the more expensive side. It cost $7 to add cheese to the chicken.
Doug Johnson: The waitresses were awesome and the food delicious. Beef noodles didn't have much beef (almost none) but I'll definitely be backFood: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
ramil rodriguez: Tried Yook for the first time today. Ordered the $59 Galbi Jjim beef stew with the fried egg add on. Incredibly tough beef. Of the 5 pieces I had, only 1 was tender. Basically they had old meat and new meat mixed in. After tip the dish came out to $72. Hard pass for me.
Janet Vuu: Efficient service and good food for fair price. We booked a table for 7 people last minute on New Years Eve and they let us know to avoid booking 630pm since it’s their busy time and they were right. Only docking a star because their side dishes could be better. We had Japchae, Bibimbap, Tteokbokki, Pajeon, and cold noodles. Japchae was a crowd fave
Agnes: Been here many times. Everything is always good. Servers are attentive and would check in on us frequently and ask us if everything tasted good. Will be always one of my go-to Korean restaurants in East Vancouver.A big plus. Their seafood green onion pancake is sooo good. Stays crispy for so long. Perfection!
Rohit Rawat: OrderedGoon Mandu - 4.5/5Spicy Dakgalbi Bibimbap - 4.5/5Gochujang Samgyupsal - 5/5Everything was excellent and sumptuous. Wonderful experience.
Anna Nguyen: Group of 12 came in and we had a great meal! The food was flavorful, juicy, and just enough spice! Very clean- including the bathroom! The service was 5 stars- they greeted us with smiles every time and our ban Chan and water was always refilled!

Andamiro Korean Bistro: what do users think?
Anna B: Fried chicken was still crispy on delivery! And so delicious
M R (cndn_hippo): Very friendly and quick service. Some of the prices are on the high side but there's a good variety of cost effective options and higher priced options. The food is pretty decent. I wouldn't say this is the best Korean restaurant in the Lower Mainland, but it's a good option if you have a larger party sized (larger than six+ people).Their hameuljeon and japchae are pretty good. Also would recommend the Army stew.
Jorgina Thompson: Quirky restaurant with fun and playful decorHighlights: ox bone soup, beef bulgogi, the original chicken, and curry udon. Excellent
Toni Glick: Excellent Food!My daughter and I stopped here randomly last night and had a great meal. She ordered the Spicy Pork Belly , which had a delicious slighly sweet chile sauce and perfectly cooked rice. I had the Kimchee Udon, which was lovely. We got 3 side dishes - I can never get enough of Korean sides - sweet potatoes, salad and some fresh homemade kimchee. The decor was super fun and kitchy, like a museum and could be a good place to take (polite) kids. The service was good but it was late and we had the place to ourselves. I wouldn't mind if it was busier so I'm recommending to all of you.
Maria Infante: yummy korean dishes that is so mouth watering!
Chang Han: If I wasn't so hungry, I would have left more of the food - it might be OK for a non-Korean palate, but for Korean taste buds, this place will bring a lot of disappointment. Even the rice was not very sticky and the rest of it was not much better.
Jonny: Went for dinner at Andamiro Korean Bistro and it was disappointing. As others have said, it seems to have gone downhill.Went for a Friday evening dinner and shared the Andamiro combo ($60.99) and yangnyeom chicken ($13.99). Combo comes with a seafood pancake (best dish of the evening), soft tofu soup (bland), jabchae, beef bulgogi and two bowls of rice. The KFC was dreadful. Chicken wasn’t even warmed up properly. The banchan (kimchi, salad, potato and sliced radish) were small and tasteless.Drive the extra couple minutes and go to Yook Korean Grilled BBQ & Bistro, Shilla Korean Restaurant or Sumi Korean Restaurant.
Bryan Gray: Just flew in from edmonton. Decided to walk down the street from where we are staying and saw this place. Great service. Great atmosphere. Neat things to look at around the place. And the food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
R Chan: The food was considerably cheap but no side dishes. Quiet and waitresses were kind. The food wasnt it the most suitable serving bowls. The poor reviews are a bit unfair as they compare it to old quality. Otherwise, the place was decent.
Renee Sun: This little Korean family style restaurant is my togo place when I don’t know what to eat, i’s the best place for comfort food. They have pretty large portions so I really recommend come here with friends to share.I personally think their seafood pancake is the best in the city, and I really like their stir fry udons yummm 🍜Edited:Came here again in late April and found out they changed their menu and ingredients:1. the ox bone soup was gone and as a loyal costumer I’m very disappointed 😔2. the seafood pancake tasted different from my last review, it has more scallions and not much crab meat and squid, it’s also more oily and thinner than before. However, the amount of shrimps and scallops are still decent.3. The free korean style appetizers are no longer offered. They were really good before I don’t understand why they stopped making them.4. The soup used to come with a bowl of rice, now the rice is separately sold.5. The fry udons are gone too 😢😢😢Dear owner: I used to be very LOYAL customer and have been telling my friends you have the best seafood pancake in Van! I really hoping to have the pancake back in the same recipe and see the ox bone soup on the menu again! Thanks! 🙏🏻
tong z: Had the worst jjamppong, 4pieces of small prawns and 4slice thin of squid... Where are the muscles and clams? Feel like instant powder soup base... This place went downhill during pandemics, menu is so small now, I used to come here for gajamtang and grill mackerels, they took that off the menu... Very sad..
Michelle Fung: WORST CHEF EVER..! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!
ThisIsIndoLife: Been a while it was good comfort korean place
Helen Connolly: The fried chicken came out cold and when we brought it to their attention, they tried to tell us it wasn't, and that we had let it sit for 10 min before eating. I was so hungry that I was willing to burn my mouth on some food so that accusation was completely false. I'm guessing they put it on a cold pan and forgot about it or else gave us some pre made food because it wasnt even warm, never mind hot. Not quite sure why they decided to debate with us over that but I'm guessing they were afraid we would expect free food or maybe a discount? As soon as they heard that all we wanted was for them to heat the thing up, they were more than willing to do it without further argument. It wasnt just that they wouldnt accept that it was cold and never offered to fix the problem but the other food we ordered wasnt good either. I love banchan and we got only 2, Kimchi and potatoes. The kimchi was completely tasteless. It tasted like they just threw some red pepper flakes on it and soaked it in water for 5 minutes. The potatoes which tasted like it was boiled in sugar water for a few minutes had a weird smell. The seafood pancake and japchae were ok, not great, but the sauce for the seafood pancake tasted like straight soy sauce with no sesame, no green onions or the usual stuff in it. Nothing tasted authentic which had me wondering if the owners/cooks were even Korean. I hardly ever write bad reviews when I dont like something, I usually just move on and wont come back but the experience with the service left a bad taste in my mouth as well which is why I am leaving a 2 star review.
Nikki: fair in all respects, more of a home cooked style of korean.update: kimchi was bone dry and raw (inedible), the other banchan was romaine lettuce. egg in the soondobu was beaten and poured on top to cook? seafood dishes only have shrimp despite menu photo. our server was very kind!
Clare L: Boneless soy chicken taste is realllly so so.. Maybe I should try other kind of their fried chicken
Brenda Vázquez: Delicious!
ida wang: Only two banchans - potatoes and kimchi, both bland. A small menu, seafood noodle soup (turns out the "noodles" are udons) and beef curry udon felt like home cooking rather than restaurant quality and were rather underwhelming. Will not return, do not recommend.
Enes Yazıcı: Terrible server
Sakura Hana: Great service. Their pork bone soup was tasty and not too spicy. love that the rice cake dish came with instant noodles!
Steven H.: A good restaurant with reasonable prices.Foods are tasty but a little on the greasy side.Overall will return.

Kosoo Korean Restaurant Chicken & BBQ - 2nd Branch: what do users think?
愛因: Food: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
sweck chhya: Overall, it was busy place. But the yangyeom taste was way to sweet and no spicy at all and was different than actual other Korean restaurant in Vancouver because I personally work in Korean restaurant and i am familiare with the flavours.
sanaz alikhani: Kosoo was amazing, the service was spectacular, specially Kelly. She was wonderful. One of the best kimchis I have ever had. Will definitely come back.
Melissa Stephens: Perfectly cooked, perfect service!!
Lychee Miaw: i ate here once with K and would like to back here again when i have time ! ☺️
Gee k: Excellent service, great food. Enjoyed their lunch set. Recommend!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Sagar Asrani: Went there for dinner and the food was downright bland. We tried the Ox bone soup which came with no seasonings either in the soup or on the side. The BBQ pork belly also tasted underwhelming. The fried chicken was very juicy and flavourful though. However, our dinner was cut short after we found a fly in our soup
KuanYeh Lin: Great food and nice service, you’re just like in Korea.
Chelsea Park: Ordered a couple of things to share during lunch. Their seolleongtong was delicious. Their kimchi jjigae was a bit disappointing - it had a tomato taste to it and not your traditional sour savory notes. Their honey butter chicken was also delicious. Would definitely try again if I am in the area. One thing - we didn't notice any elevators and there's a flight of stairs. Perhaps call the restaurant about the elevator situation before visiting.
Rhea Chand: Service was good and waiter was really nice!!!Everything tasted well I recommend the supreme.
Nataly Flores: Great place, very friendly. I think the meals can improve.
Emily L: Unexpectedly loved this place! I didn’t have super high standards for Kosoo, but their fried chicken was delicious. I also had their hotpot, which was huge and flavourful as well.I recommend and look forward to returning!
Kai P: Such good food. Everything was tasty and so good.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Cynthia Pham: Staff was so BAD attitude, not friendly . Give customer at a BLACK LOOK, ROLLING her EYES to usWe brought birthday cake in, we did not know that the restaurant don’t allow to bring other stuff outside in. If they let us know at the time we bring the cake in or when we asked for lighter “ they don’t allow to bring and eat inside the restaurant”, we will just dinner there then go. However, they didn’t notice anything, they give us the bill, we gave them 18% tips. Then we asked for lighter, they gave to us. The restaurant didn’t busy much at that timeWhen we took some picture and boomerang with the cake. A staff came and said with scowling tone at us.We prepared to leave. We were so sad because of how the staff treated us . And, we so regreted because we wouldn’t finished birthday for my friend. 3-4mins after we left the restaurant, a staff there gave us a black look. ( What??????, what is that attitude???)A birthday celebration is so meaningful with that person. if they let us know sooner, We can completely blow out the candles in other place. Or, if they let us know with respected tone, we weren’t that sad to leave. Or if they didn’t look askew and glace angrily at us, i will not give a star.
Jessie: We got a takeout chicken and it was SO soggy, cause the lid was closed. The sauce for padak was too sour too :( Had to throw out the wet soggy ones at the bottom. Why deep fry chicken if you're gonna make'em all soggy at the end? What a waste of food.
Frank: Delicious and authentic Korean food with generous proportions. Would highly recommendFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Ekaterina Slivko: So good! I've spent a few weeks in Korea, lived for years in Burquitlam and tried lots of Korean restaurants there, and Kosoo is definitely the best Korean food I've had to date.

Craig McCue: Amazing service and fantastic food. Will definitely be back soon.
Yuyu Rz: Amazing food :)Loved the service the hot tea that week comes us. Amazing !! Best Korean pancake I’ve had!
Janos Cserepka: I have a broken leg and they wouldn't let me in because of the vaccine passport. Hell of a time trying to find a place to sit and have a drink let alone food.
Mat Moioli: I was already in love with korean food but this place was just amazing, a big step up. In crédible kimchi bibimbap. Of course the kimchi was really good, but the whole thing also worked amazingly together. Nothing could have been better.
JINA SUPER:
Rob Schlechter: Good authentic Korean food. Tofu stew and the bibimbap were great along with the side dishes of pickled radishes and sauces for dipping. Definitely return!
Jeff Francis: Everything was fine... Service was excellent. The food was good, but the flavors seemed muted compared to some Korean restaurants.
김도혜: 가격은 쎈데 음식 퀄리티가 영 ;;
schafer240: Awesome food and service, was really impressed. Had a couple dishes range from easy tasting comfort food to bold and flavorful, make sure to ask for what your in the mood for and they'll deliver
Jiahao Chen: the place is clean and nice, but I don't really like the bibimbap here. You get only a tiny bit of meat.
c cc: Great little authentic Korean place, very good service and great food.Spicy chicken nuggets are a must
Michemai: Reasonably priced, good food, large portions and a lovely atmosphere. The waitress was nice and service was quick.Would go again anytime.
Psychotic Percy: The place is lovely, but there was no AC on and the dish i got was quite blain for me. The service was great too, the food was just not my type. Maybe i'll try another dish and update :))
Nawshin Hoque: All the food was delicious and great prices! Our waitress was really sweet too! Definitely coming back again!
Heekyung Kim: 깔끔한 맛.쭈꾸미 돌솥밥 진짜 맛있어요.가끔 비건 나물 비빔밥도 먹는데,구성도 알차고 속도 편합니다.
Casey: It is a chicken dish but full of vegie and few chicken pieces
Darcy Corkery: One of the best korean restaurants in Vancouver. Would recommend this to everyone who loves Korean. From beginner to fully cultured, their menu has something for everyone. I recommend the potatoe noodle stir-fry, seafood pancake, bi bim bap, bulgogi and spareribs
Delphine Baumer: Yummmmm so tasty and comforting and nourishing. Super kind owners and staff.
Natasha Jordan: If you want athletic Korean this is the place
Ganishka Bakshi: I had the chicken bibimbap and it was very good. Took 5 minutes to make and the ingredients were very fresh. I really enjoyed it

Keiana C: I’ve been here plenty of times! Average priced and really flavourful dishes. I will say not all of them are hits and some days better then others but 8/10 times really good!Only qualm I have is that after 5pm it gets very very loud with large groups that can take up over 50% of the restaurant and loud music in the background. Y K: A good casual restaurant to get your Korean fix on Kingsway!Their Cheese Dakgalbi and Bulgogi is mediocre and nothing too special about it - it's good enough to satisfy your cravings!I've tried:- Cheese Dakgalbi (3.5/5)- Bulgogi (4/5)

Amy: I can make my own kimchi fried rice but it just doesn’t beat Shilla’s kimchi fried rice. Their kimchi fried rice is delicious. I also had a couple bites of my friend’s bibimbap and it’s super delicious as well! Shilla is one of my favourite local korean restos 💜
J Wong: Kim Chi fried rice was my favourite dish. The regular boneless fried chicken with spicy & sweet sauce on the side (which cost $5 for a side - not impressed w that) was as good as other Korean chicken places, and the beef short ribs were tasty - assuming you don't mind munching small bits of meat around bones. Definitely one of the better Korean restaurants in Vancouver!Went at noon, no problem getting a table and plenty of free street parking in front. Place was clean and service was responsive.
Jsin Nguyen: 4th time coming back here, and honestly, they never disappoint. They have a cute decorated restaurant with K-pop music. Food is decently price. Huge portions compared to other Koreans' restaurants.I just love this place!Parking: Lots of free parking in the front.
Law Mak: Amazing food. Good service. Lots of soju. Good staff. Ordered retry much everything and had a feast. The food was good and they were very accommodating to our large party.
