Gene Tang: Great choices! Supposedly, it is the biggest Indian buffet in North America. They have goat and lamb, which I enjoy. Who doesn't like all you can eat, naan? Buffet food is buffet good! There is a lot to eat but not spectacular. The price is right, too.Vegetarian options: There is a lot for vegetarian!
Taljinder Singh: Disgusting buffet 🤮,All the food was cold , dry tandoori chicken. No wonder why it was totally empty. Never 👎 again
varun mahajan: Real heros, the buffet is cheap and a lot of food to eat. It is amazing. The 1+1 food is helping the people fight inflation and eat good. Real pride 💪 of a nation. I salute you 🙌. Just a big fan, eaten your 1+1 daal on difficult nights. You are all that is my INDIA is about. I love 😘 you guys. Food is amaaaazingggFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

KS suthar: No respect for customer, and worst experience
Shubham Gaur: Well there are so many good reviews but i want to share my own worst experience i have ever had in my whole life.I ordered take out of 12 people, first of all it was late because we already told them that we have a flight to catch and even if we forget that how can you forget the worst service which makes you feels like a vomiting. The server at the front was ever charge us for the complimentary disposable spoon and plates and not even that she called someone and asked about the price of napkins like seriously my god,If guys can not provide the disposable which every restaurant do just next time put everything directly in customers mouthSo disappointed service. And it wasn’t enough for the day, i guess worst time never leave you alone sooner. When we took the food we asked server to double check and we got in a park where my whole family was waiting for food because they didn’t have anything from the morning3 packages were missing and when we called they were rude and sad you forget here seriouslyI am requesting to the manager please check you cameras footage than she only handed us 3 packages and inside 3 daal were missingHow were we supposed to eat the rice aloneWe couldn’t do anything because they blocked our number and we also had a flight to catch. But telling you one thing my whole family didn’t eat anything for a whole day because they came form india to visit and can’t eat outside food but you guys seriously gave us a pain that we can not forgetWorst restaurant ever!!!
Shilpa Sharma: My experience with this restaurant is very very poor . I am from Edmonton. My family visited from india so I bring them to Vancouver to make good memories. On last day of my trip we were on Granville island, we ordered food for our lunch . Girl on counter did not gave us full order . I ordered 3 daal and 2 mix veg dish , we waited extra 30 min for our food . We didn’t received 3 daal order . We waited more than a hour and ending up having only naan and rice. I called back and talk to girl who was serving , she hang up on me . She said we did not pick up 4th bag , but truth is that she never hand over that to us . She was very very rude , she don’t bother to apologize . My family from India was very upset too. Anyone will upset if you order food waiting for it and did not receive it.we paid full amount of money to food which we never received . So my big No this restaurant. Very bad service.
Tarun Sharma: Worst Indian Restaurant in Vancouver. It is not just a bad experience it is reality. The way of treating customers reflects it. We had a take out of about 150$. First of all it was late even though we were in expected time then, We asked that everything is in there place because we have to catch flight later on and we don’t have time to even check everything. We left for restaurant and when we started eating it there was only rice nothing else we paid for everything. But still nothing in the bags. Moreover, we called the restaurant to let them know about there mistake. They talked rude and even blocked the number. We will not be going there ever again and will suggest everyone to stay away from them.
Rane: EDIT: Lowering to 1 star momentarily since I haven't seen a y response from management. In 1 week I'll raise this again to a fair review.EDIT 2: Updated to 5 stars because I can't help but love this place.I'm going to start by saying that I'm only leaving this a 3-star review to hopefully get the attention of management. I'll change the review to 5 stars in the near future. This place is amazing. The service is awesome, and the food was incredible. Note: was. I have been ordering from New India as my regular takeout place for at least a year now. I have been ordering the same thing every time: 2 lunchboxes, 1 veg, 1 non-veg. Every single week. It's gotten to the point where the staff recognizes me by name and knows my order. Like I said, great service. The value is incredible, and the food has been top-notch. My girlfriend (from India) has said that this is the best Chana Masala she has ever had in her life. Now to the reason for my review. They recently changed something, within the past month or so. New chef, new recipes, I'm not really sure, but the taste has completely changed. The chana has much less flavour and tastes watery, the butter chicken tastes plain, and this goes for a lot of the curries that we were eating with the thali. It's truly a shame, because I loved the atmosphere and the service in this establishment, and I looked forward to the treat of Friday night takeout from New India. With this change I'm not sure if I'll continue. I've been actively looking for a new takeout spot, but what I'd love most is for New India to return to their original flavors.
Mukesh Kalra: Truly Delucious dishes; its taste reminded me of the food served at Indian Royal Weddings. Their Channa Masala and Matar Paneer were scrumptious😋Vegetarian options: Veg Thaali is super.
Makayla Bailey: Came here for the AYCE buffet. Went around 7:30pm- everything was hot but somethings had definitely been sitting for a while (really hard rice was the main issue). Price is very standard, everything was tasty. Would absolutely come again.Recommended dishes Butter Chicken …More

Google Nathan: Great meat and veggie selections.Recommend the buffet since one dish costs the same as an adult to enter the buffet.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options. Great place if you're vegetarian.
Gogul Nathan: Great selection of food for both vegetarians and meat lovers.Buffet makes more sense because the cost for an adult to enter the buffet is the same as ordering oneVegetarian options: There's a whole section dedicated to vegetarian dishes.
Arya Kamdar: Decent food and selections to choose from. Nice atmosphere as well.
Bobby Gill: I love the food here. It’s the best quality and taste. The all you can eat buffet is perfect. I recommend coming here with friends and family.
Apoorva Sharma: I wish i could give less than one star. Please don’t be fooled by the reviews of this place. The reviews said that food was fresh and good quality but that was not the case. I went there for lunch, the naan’s were not fresh. The desserts were stale except for the gulab jamun. There was no flavour in the curries, everything tasted the same. The food was cold!!I told our server almost all of our food was not fresh and he said we should have told him to get the fresh items we wanted. I don’t think its fair, if they see customers are eating they should bring our fresh food. One of the fruit was not restocked and I heard a lady tell the server thrice to refill it but they didn’t. I was so excited to go to this place but it was quite disappointing. Maybe I went at a wrong time but I would suggest you to save your money.
Jasmeen Malhi: This place has never failed to provide the best service and food! Best Indian food in town!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Butter Chicken, Chicken Wings …More
Manisha Dhiman: Food: 5/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Lily Amer: My husband and I went to enjoy dinner. I am not Indian but I am crazy about Indian food.It had a variety of different dishes and deserts. Very good price .well behaved staff and lovely atmosphere. I really liked everything. For sure will go again.❤️

Cathy Fitzhugh: We made plans to come here to celebrate Mother's Day early, as well as celebrate a birthday, and I was really disappointed in the bottomless brunch, which is too bad, because we've had a wonderful experiences there before. No one asked all the food was, my toast was burnt on two occasions, I had to ask for water, repeatedly.... and I was missing cutlery more than once. The service was slow, and the staff was in attentive. when people brought food to the table, they had no idea where it was going or who had ordered it.We also had to wait long time to receive things. At one point I was waiting for a biscuit for over 20 minutes (after asking two different people,) and when I finally asked someone again, I saw that the biscuits were just sitting in a heated basket right behind us.No one apologized, not even once! In fact, after the biscuit incident, I think our server purposely avoided making eye contact. It was pretty odd.Don't recommend.

Century Honda: Great restaurant, nice atmosphere, not first time here either. While The Arc does have a patio and private room, the common seating area inside was chosen as there was live music on a Thursday evening which was nice to listen to.Place wasn’t too busy and the service from the staff was great.Started with Sour Dough bread appetizer and a grean tea. The bread was tasty. 🍞 🍵Ordered Arc Kale Caesar Salad with chicken as a main and it was great. 🥗 🍗Definitely return here again.

Notch8 Restaurant & Bar: what do users think?
Mina Li: I finally got to try this place out a few weeks ago for brunch and it was very good! Great service, great food, and of course great dessert. The food quality is amazing, however there's not much meat / seafood option since it's brunch. Highlight for me would be the dessert and the porchetta at the carving station. The porchetta is seasoned nicely, very juicy and very crispy. The striploin was a bit tough for my liking though. I only tried a few dessert since I ate too much porchetta, but the few that I had, the crème brulee and the lemon meringue tart was really good! The crème brulee has a really thin crispy top which I really enjoyed and the lemon tart was perfect sourness to me.The price is definitely pricey especially when kids are charged half price as long as they're under 12 (and I have two toddlers). This is a place I'll recommend but definitely not come unless it's for special occasions. One thing I did notice is that there's only 1 washroom stall located inside the restaurant (at least that's the one directed by the staff) so there might be a lineup if you want to use that one, or you can go out and use the one in the hotel.I also need to mention that the location is very close by the two train lines, so it's easy access by transit. However, if you're driving like me, there's actually really cheap weekend parking at the Royal Centre (entrance on Melville St and Burrard) that's right across the street from Fairmont Hotel. It's $2/hr compared to $4.50/half hr at some places nearby.Kid-friendliness: When I went there, there was a lot of young kids on highchairs. The staff all seem to be very used to dealing with kids and are very patient with my twins.Parking: There's actually really cheap weekend parking at the Royal Centre (entrance on Melville St and Burrard) that's right across the street from Fairmont Hotel. Rick K: Update: they changed the menu and when I asked for the sidecar from the old menu, they didn't make it that way. Its good but this is knocking the place down a full star. I believe they charge and should be better than this.My review is drinks exclusively. They make some killer drinks but to be honest the sidecar is the best by miles. Do yourself a favor and order that first. Look if you hate it, hit me up and I'll buy you a drink somewhere else. Honestly soooo freaking amazing!!!!! Now there's a review, an offer to buy you a drink elsewhere if you hate it. Do yourself a favor, go to notch 8 drinks.

Atian Moghimi: Went here for high tea with my girlfriends, but unfortunately we didn't like the food. Totally different from their advertising. The service was great, our servers were polite :) but we wouldn't go back.
Tim Armstrong: Huge portions, so bang for your buck, and good service, but the food lacked finesse and flavour. Stars of the show were the Miso Crushed Potatoes - I might return and just order these.Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Notshazza Dooley: The staff is some of the most friendly we have come across in our travels. Nothing was a bother for them. The young man that made my scrambled eggs kintle did a supreme job. 熊莎莉: Im super angry with cheery blossom afternoon tea.... price 70 after tax and tips almost 90, but with really low quality.... super dry toast, dont looks good too. cherry blossom decoration dont deserve that money also, highly don't recommend....Food: 1/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
amber mitchell: Had an incredible birthday / early mother's day brunch with my daughter and mom at Notch 8. Every single item from the buffet was exceptional. Ample vegetarian options, and also offered to make fresh vegetarian eggs Benny. We thought it would be a fun fancy treat, more for experience than food but we were wrong. Excellent food all round, fresh, hot, and high quality options. The best part however was the service. Raluca D. was beyond attentive, thoughtful, and we all remarked it was the best service we'd had in recent memory. She also took time to acknowledge my daughter, which helped her have an excellent time also.Excellent and will return, thank you Raluca.
hanh tran: After seeing all the great reviews we decided to try the Cherry Blossom afternoon tea, however, we left pretty disappointed. The tea was okay (7/10), expected a little better for the price. Scones were the best part of the tea set (10/10), sandwiches were okay at best (5.5/10), with the mushroom teriyaki tasting nothing like teriyaki and the katsu meat was too dry and not tender. The dessert tier was thoroughly disappointing (2/10), the cheesecake was grainy, and some of the dessert pairings (cherries with the lemon pound cake) were too contrasting and overpowering. Service was great though but I wouldn't recommend this afternoon tea, not worth $74/person.

Donna So: Lovely little place to dine post shopping trip. Haven’t had a burger in so long and heard the Reuben and classic burger was a good choice so we ordered one of each. Unfortunately today their fryer was not working so there was no fries so we each picked a different soup.We originally wanted to walk-in for afternoon tea but found out it wasn’t offered on a Monday. However, our waiter was such a darling and gave us a tour of the high tea room. This seasons theme was cherry blossoms to celebrate the spring season. We definitely want to check this out before they change the theme next month.
Sitong Liu: A group of us wen there just for drinks, since a couple of us really wanted to try this place! I personally never heard about it, but assuming the location, the atmosphere, the price you pay, should be worth it. While looking at the menu, I noticed that you can customize your drinks by rolling the dice! So I asked the server if we can anything special from rolling the same dice? She mentioned if you roll all 3 dices into the designated number you can get a free drink. 2 of us get excited and wanted to try it. Later, the manager came by with the box and dice and explained that only happy hour would have the free drink rule! Too sad we missed it. Anyways, 2of us rolled the dice and tried this adventurous game, it was alright, nothing special. Mediocre drinks! But I ordered the salted caramel cheesecake, that was AMAZING, perfectly baked, it’s not too condensed and the caramel was just so good! I recommend to try it!

Perfect place for celebrations and at the end they treat you with a piece of cake if its your birthday! :)
Enno S: It has an incredible view over the city and it's quite fun to point out things you see/ places you've been while you rotate. You see waterplanes and helicopters landing and a bit of the harbour. The restaurant is pretty expensive, but if you go during happy hour and order a beer or two (CAD 8-9) you can stay for a while and make a full rotation (60min). The staff was very nice aswell.
BreeAnna Lasher: Such a cool experience. The service was amazing. They do have a one entre per person rule so no sharing or ordering only appetizers! The view was amazing and we revolved about 2 times in 2 hours so it’s not too fast to make you sick

We went at happy hour (3-4) and got a window side table. The view is unreal! We got cocktails (great) and apps (ok) and our bill was $68, plus tip.We enjoyed our drinks and got to see a complete revolution (1 hour), a 360° view of the Harbour and Downtown.I will go back as soon as possible. Oh, be sure to ask for Vicky, as she is a blast.

Albert T: Breakfast buffet experience is more akin to three star hotel, not five stars. Selection is very basic and even with the little selection they have, the food quality is not very good. Crispy potatoes are more like soggy potatoes. The food quality is not there for $40 breakfast that you can easily have superior food elsewhere. In the other hand, service was great, just not the food.

Sea Lion: Tried the Christmas Eve buffet. Decent variety, not too many items. Some were very good quality, but a couple choices were surprisingly bland given the price of entry (one dish was simply unseasoned steamed veggies, another was seemingly unseasoned rice). Desserts were not as good as expected either, many were nearly grocery store quality. Overall it was a fun experience but for the price would not recommend.

Alena Paletar: Very dissapointed in todays fathers day brunch.Huge decline in quality of the food and small variety compare our last time experience in this 4 Star restaurant.Meat was hard and dry, fish only OK, cold cuts poor. No fruit at all.Sweets and cakes only OK, just few.Price is very high and 18% service charge that was added to the bill was surprising.Good waiter.Do not recommend, not worthy.Alena
aneeta sandhar: We were a group of 6. One persons pancakes were burnt. All of our shredded potatoes were completely cold - likely previously frozen. One person had the buffet and it was very underwhelming. Eggs Benny were gross. Would give 0 stars.
Mary H: Goodbye forever! You have lost an entire clan! It wasn’t enough that we spent thousands on our wedding here?! Now You demand a form to be filled out to make a reservation! What planet are you on to demand that I download an app or print out and scan for a simple reservation?! We have been coming for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day brunch for over 10 years! Why isn’t it simply enough that we provide our credit over the phone? We now have to fill out a form? Do you know how difficult it is for a 74 year old to do that?? What a hassle and most definitely the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
Bman: Nice view.
Pooya Mohammadi: As expected, Oceans 999 is a rather expensive for what you eat. The reason is being part of Pan Pacific Vancouver hotel.📍 To reach there, you have to come through the Hotel’s entrance and use the first escalator.✅ The vibe and view of the restaurant is amazing. You have mountain and water view with a lot of sunlight.🤵‍♀️ The staff is almost good and its service is nice. Being more smiley could be a good idea.🎙 There was a singer on Saturday with a beautiful voice and made a unique experience.Recommendations:* Carbonara Flatbread* Smoked Beef Brisket Hash* Harden Omelette☕️ They just have black coffee with an average quality.Enjoy!👌

Connie Ono: If this is your first time visiting Vancouver, Miku would be my top recommendations on your itinerary list for places to eat. Now, this isn't your typical sushi restaurant, in fact, I would consider this to be fine dining and here's why. When it comes to Japanese food, presentation is the most important next to customer service level, and they are bang on. I absolutely love how intricate their sushi layered to simplicity on a plate. Reminds me of a zen garden. The waiters/ waitress' are knowledgeable of their dishes being served and super friendly! Dishes are, at minimum $20, but the portions are decently sized. (Anything with Wagyu will always be expensive). They do offer gluten -free and vegetarian dishes and non alcoholic drinks.(I had their Shiso Nojito and it was the most refreshing non-alcoholic I've ever had. Not too sweet either).Overall, I would highly recommend it for first time travellers to Vancouver. It's absolutely a beautiful place to dine in!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free available
Ayushi: I loved this place! Sushi was so fresh and flavourful. Our waiter was so kind and informative, he really knew the menu and provided great recommendations. Worth every penny!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Aburi Sushi, Green Tea Opera, Salmon Oshi Sushi, Sashimi …More
Keith C: We had the 7 course Kaiseki dinner and were very impressed by the taste of most of the dishes. Also, the portion is very large and we found it quite heavy.Favourites are the insanely tender fillet, the Hokkaido scallop, oyster, and fresh sashimi.Few of the menu items were a miss, such as the Uni (Sea urchin) which we found not fresh at all. And sake pairing was late for one of the courses.Overall, this was a delicious meal and definitely recommended. We would have liked some lighter dishes that were not fatty-protein-focused, or slightly less portion for lower price (like the omakase platter at the end). Bring a large appetite if you are ordering this tasting menu!
Junky Mailhai: For the price, I thought that it’s an okay place. The food is fresh and the service is good. I didn’t love the sushi. It was good but not amazing. At CAD $50 per person, I felt that it could be a bit more than what it was. The salmon sushi and the soba noodles were tasty.Recommended dishes Sushi …More
niloofar tavasoli (Nillicious): I can say one of the best sushi places in Vancouver, freshly made , delicious, and a great variety of Japanese foodRecommended dishes Sushi, Sashimi Platter …More
Star Lord * Avenger: Incredible. Service. Food. Ambience. Prices are a little high otherwise it would be a 5 star.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Milly 楊楊: Our server Kana was the highlight of our dinner She was so thoughtful! Never let our tea or water run low. Made wonderful suggestions tailored to each of our taste! I myself am vegan so she even thought to come up with something not on the menu to make sure I have a different variety of entree 😭!The food and the service is equally amazing!Thank you Kana for a great time!
Sang Chae: Good Nigiri, expensive sake, and ok service.Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 2/5Recommended dishes Sushi …More
Alexander Chan: Went to Minami last year and had saved Miku for a special occasion. Food was great and the space is really nice, but was disappointed they changed the surf and turf roll without changing the name.
t t: Sushi in Vancouver is an obvious choice and I visited Miku recently for the first time. Due to its popularity we weren’t able to get a reservation for dinner but came as a walk in at lunch time!! Great service and atmosphere, views right in the harbour. If you love sushi you 100% need to go here.
ミスタードーナツ: People go here for the pressed sushi, which is pretty awesome, but their protein selection is pretty impressive to. Try the lamb, try the prime rib.
Séhèce: Such a travel in my mouthFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Joel Chan: This restaurant was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious and had surprisingly large portions. Our server was professional and attentive. My ribeye steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and the sablefish was also delicious. The surf and turf role was excellent and I would order it again. The view was also lovely during dinner.
Chris L: I love Miku! Every time I’m in Vancouver I make sure to go and get the tart in my photo. In fact, on my last trip I went four days in a row for lunch. Definite must try when I’m Vancouver.Recommended dishes Sashimi Platter, Aburi Sushi, Salmon Oshi Sushi …More

J Lum: Came here for lunch and what I can say is WOW. Blew my mind how such a nice environment this place offers. Nice floor to ceiling windows and food is great. It's located inside pan pacific hotel and parking there is quite pricy but I lucked out with finding a broken parking meter.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Florence Wong: I was here celebrating Mother's day on the weekend. We made the right decision to come one week before otherwise we wouldn't have been seated by the window. The view of coal harbour and the snow topped mountains were incomparable and serene. The ambiance and decor was also excellent. Our server was attentive and welcoming. We ordered the $65 pp high tea service which came with a small selection of tea. Certain choices required additional cost. We also ordered a la cart caviar. The variety and portions of food was perfect. We even had left overs!I would've given 5 stars if the tea selection was larger.Overall I'd recommend visiting this restaurant and would definitely come back for other special occasions.
Ali Nematollahi: We went to Five Sails for dinner. First time at Five Sails. My girlfriend has a number of food allergies and the restaurant was very very very accommodating! Food was great, atmosphere was very pleasant.Best of all was our server, Raymond. He was incredibly attentive and a gentleman! He was literally the best server I've ever had to deal with in Vancouver!!We both really enjoyed the restaurant! We will definitely go back again.Parking: Lots of parking lots aroundDietary restrictions: They are very accommodation to dietary restrictions
Juno: Unbelievable view and food food .Felt like most dishes were Japanese and western fusionRecommended dishes Sable Fish …More
Joe Kan: Kei the server only in Canada for 6 months from Japan was the best! Knowledgeable and very friendly. My mom's birthday was a blast! Food was on point too!Dietary restrictions: They give you options that accommodates your health style.
david procter: I accompanied my wife and mother to the Five Sails for Afternoon Tea on a Sunday afternoon. What a FABULOUS experience. From the GM Jason to his Greeter and to Jordan our server The staff was warm. Friendly. Knowledgeable and attentive. And hugely welcoming. Thanks so much. The tea started with a wonderful glass of bubbly. Followed by tasty tea I tried the Nutcracker black tea. Flavours of hazelnut and vanilla. Yummy. And the food which followed was exquisite Presentation alone earned outstanding marks. But the variety and flavours and textures of the offerings was outstanding. I even tried some of the caviar Bit of a rookie on that but it was very enjoyable. Definitely worth trying. Neat taste sensationsJason. Thanks so much for hosting the three of us. And to you and your staff. Our sincere thanks. We shall return !!!Cheers. David.
Randy Brown: Ambiance was fantastic, service (Michael) was great and food was extremely good!
Josh Bateman: We went to Five Sails to celebrate our 3rd year anniversary. Our table was ready as soon as we arrived and the hostess accommodated my reservation requests and gave us a great table with the most amazing view of the harbour. Shawn was our Waiter who was very friendly and attentive all evening. Shawn went above and beyond to make sure we both had a memorable anniversary. They surprised us at the end with a happy anniversary dessert. I would highly recommend Five Sails!
CHANEL SATTARA: If I could give this amazing place, view, and the exceptional service more than 5 stars I absolutely would. This the was the best dining experience I've ever had, and I'm a major foodie so that says a lot. The view is breathtaking, the service is so personal and warm, they also have VEGAN options. The drinks and the sorbetto are exceptional. I would come over and over if I still lived in Vancouver. Thank you so much Jason 3
Sahiba Speaks: Honestly this place definitely impressed me. Their customer service was above and beyond. Very loving and make you feel more than comfortable and accepted. Everyone was treated with the utmost respect and love. The customer service they gave us was just incredibly beautiful to the point where I was simply touched. We need more places like you. Thank you for treating us with love and giving us an experience where we want to come back and tell others how amazing you are. The food was fabulous and so were the drinks. I am in love with the drinks... gorgeous... The atmosphere and the energy are just breathtaking. You will leave feeling apreaciated and like a king. We deserve the best and that is exactly what you will get here with class and luxery.
Mark Epik: Great atmosphere and great service. Highly recommend the Brussel sprouts and make sure you take advantage of the cocktail menu.
C AnW: good place for dating.
Sabrina L: I absolutely love dinner but recently I came for a baby shower and it was just alright.$65 pp for high tea was a steal, but it was just okay, my favourite was the lobster biegnet.Service though was mediocre at best.We were missing a chair when we arrivedWe had to ask our server 3 x for the tea menu and she seemed not pleased when we didn't all order alcoholWe had order sparkling water but most restaurants would ask before opening the next model but she did not, she literally would top us up after every sip, before you knew it, we were 5 bottles deep between 5 people (wasted full glasses at the end)Asked her twice to take away our food and her timing was just really off for everythingWas less than pleased with her serviceParking: Parking lot was fullTried to valet but there was noneEnded up work street parking $8/hrWe parked for 3 hrs for a total $24

Salam Bombay: what do users think?
Ahyan Khan: Excellent place for Indian food. Prawn curry is a must have.
ARUN SAHNI: Good food
Donovan Loewen: Currently closed
Vivekanand Singh: The place is closed for maintenance and they have not updated their site page..
Narayanan Doraiswamy: This restaurant is closed permanently unfortunately.
Prerana Singh: FYI: It's closed for maintenance now. I wonder why there isn't any update about this on their website or Facebook page.
BAЯRON: We selected the Salam Bombay because it is top rated - and we were two times perfectly happy. The restaurant is on the first floor with a sensational view to the street level. The staff is very helpful when it comes to select any dish from the rich menu. Food in general is prepared to perfection. I loved the rice together with lamb or chicken. We can strongly recommend this restaurant.
Dharini Vakharia: It was my first Indian Restaurant try in Vancouver. We ordered 2 lunch specials and we got complimentary cholle saag dish which was too good. The paneer jalfrazi was okay and the dal makhani was good. The sweet lassi was too good. Also had aloo paratha which was pretty good as well. The staff was accomodating and pleasant to deal with..Would definitely try it again.
Jade Perrin: I recently visited Vancouver and I ordered from here TWICE! They have the best Indian cuisine I have had in several years. When we dined in their restaurant it was lovely and the service was fast and courteous. I am glad I found this gem and I will be back!
Luis Ramirez: Excellent flavours. Prepared with taste and care
Kulpreet Singh: Salam Bombay is best of class Indian restaurant in the heart of Vancouver downtown. Amazing delicacies and great helpful staff. I have been with my family with my 2 year old and she really like their Stuff Paratha. They are ok with chaotic kids 😀.
Izhar Mohammed: Slow service, OK food and pretty expensive
Vaimiti TAERO: Un restaurant très chic avec un personnel au petit soin. La nourriture est vraiment délicieuse. Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour prendre un bon repas seule ou en famille. Les prix sont raisonnable :D
Manpreet Singh: Nice ambience and good indian food 😋
nurko23yum: Very disappointed with the service today. This place was one of my favorite in Vancouver until today. I called and asked if they deliver as it was my gf's birthday and since we are not allowed to dine in I thought would be a good idea, the person who answered the phone said that they don't really deliver anymore but he will do it for me but charge $5, I said ok. After taking my order he has some front to ask me for a tip for the driver which was very disappointing I mean $5 for delivery is pretty steep, I only live 5min away. When the delivery driver called me stating he is outside the front door it turned out he was a block away and he was expecting me to walk all the way there to pick up my order. The portions has gotten smaller and the food was cold. I would never order food from them. Shame for ruining a good restaurant. Utterly disappointed.
Travis Good: This was delicious when we tried it pre pandemic. Don’t know what changed but now the Vindaloo is bland and barely spicy and the Lamb Korma tasted like mashed potatoes. If you guys lost a chef you should hire them back.
Eric A: What a fantastic meal. The food was ready quickly and was beyond expectations. Highly recommend!
Shankar Bhandari: Delicious food and wonderful staff
Michael: Uber eats two for one deal is a rip off. The serving they give is not close to $18 more like $10.
itsaverylee: ordered pickup for the curries and some roti, they were all not bad, good variety of vegan options. although i expected a bit more for the slightly higher price.I will note, however, there was no option for inclusion of eating utensils or napkins. The pickup order did not include either.service was extremely friendly, the restaurant looked very modern as well as covid safe. food was prepared at reasonable time frame.labels on the different dishes would be nice.
Keyvan Radbin: Tasty foods nice place
