Helena: I visited this park with family and friends by yacht on 22 January, 2023. The natural environment is mysterious and beautiful and covered with green woods even though it is winter. There is a wonderful waterfall that has plenty of water. The scenery from different angles is great and we had a great time in the park. It is said another bigger waterfall is not far away, but we couldn’t find it. I am going to visit the park again.

R Galls
R Galls: An hours paddle from Deep Cove by kayak. The dock on the east side makes for an easy launch and land regardless of the tide but you do need to bring your kayaks up and out of water/dock.Plenty of tent pads and a pretty high tech composting toilet, the best part is that it is free due to being a provincial park but can be busy especially on summer weekends. All year camping means you can find quiet days in spring, fall & winter.Beautiful views of the arm! ⛰️
Danny Y

Mitesh Vekaria: I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Westin Bayshore Hotel in Vancouver, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From its prime location to its top-notch facilities, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations in every way.First and foremost, the location of the Westin Bayshore Hotel is absolutely superb. Situated right on the picturesque waterfront, it offers breathtaking views of the harbor and Stanley Park. Being able to wake up to such a stunning vista every morning was truly invigorating. Moreover, the hotel's proximity to downtown Vancouver allowed for easy access to the city's vibrant attractions, restaurants, and shops. Whether I wanted to explore the bustling city or take a leisurely stroll along the seawall, everything was conveniently within reach. The facilities at the Westin Bayshore were nothing short of impressive. The rooms were spacious, elegantly furnished, and exceptionally clean. The plush beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep. The hotel also boasts a wide range of amenities that cater to every guest's needs. The fitness center was well-equipped, allowing me to maintain my workout routine, and the spa provided a serene haven for relaxation. The outdoor pool, surrounded by lush greenery, was an absolute delight, offering a peaceful retreat with stunning views of the harbor. The hotel's attention to detail in maintaining their facilities was truly commendable. The staff at the Westin Bayshore Hotel were outstanding, delivering excellent service with genuine warmth and professionalism. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm smile and made to feel welcomed. The staff members were attentive, accommodating, and always went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was memorable. Their knowledge of the area was invaluable in helping me plan my daily activities, and their recommendations for local attractions and dining options were spot on.Additionally, the dining options at the hotel were exceptional. The restaurants offered a variety of culinary delights, and the quality of the food was outstanding. Although they could cater more for vegetarians.I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Vancouver.

Margaret Au: We LOVE staying at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver. Not only does this waterfront hotel offer wonderful views of the harbour, the marina and the city, its location is within walking distance of Stanley Park if you like the outdoors, or Robson Street if you prefer to go shopping or cafe- or restaurant-hopping. Also, there are plenty of bicycle and scooter rental places nearby.Courteous and friendly crew members; rooms are bright and clean. Can use some upgrade to provide more charging ports for modern devices but still acceptable. Good upscale restaurants in the hotel and plenty in the vicinity offering a wide variety of cuisines to suit any budget. Room service was also good.If I must include a negative comment, it would have to be my shock of the century experience with room service! I had a late dinner one night due to work demands, and really needed coffee. When I ordered room service, I wanted to get a pot of coffee to help me through the night. When I was told there was no coffee available at that time, it was simply incomprehensible. Yes, a first world problem but I have never encountered that in all my hotel stays so I was seriously shocked and … “disappointed” was nowhere close to how I felt at the time. Other than that, everything was great!
Mer Kava
Mer Kava: Great location now ran by liars. I have been a guest since 2005 always in a Tower suite with Harbor View. Beautiful and convenient for a morning run in Sydney Park. I have also held three national corporate events (300+) over the years. Got in yesterday evening for a one nighter. Something looked off with the front desk staff, I asked confirmation that i was headed to a Tower room, she told me no, that was not the reservation but had the best room in the hotel. I confirmed it would have a Harbor view and a terrace. That was lies. My office i of course booked a Tower room, Room 904 is not the best in the hotel (that is a wood panel suites somewhere else I had a board meeting in years ago), no Harbor view and no terrace. I called the duty manager in the morning and was served another lie (reservation on Expedia, which my office never does). Not a word of apologies let alone a placating gesture, a very abnoxious attitude which is not what one would expect or need to get in the hospitality segment Westin operates in. Sad to strike the Westin Harbor off the list of accommodation our company uses but no guest need to be lied to.

Janice Trottier
Janice Trottier: Wonderful experience again this year. Campground clean. Staff polite and friendly. Nice size sites
Clay Rhodenizer
Clay Rhodenizer: We were looking for a place to stay close to Fort Langley for a quick weekend getaway. We had low expectations for the campground due to other lacklustre private campsites we have tried out in the past. We normally boondock or stay in provincial campgrounds that offer more secluded larger sitesWell I must say we were pleasantly surprised with this campground. Yes there is the normal open style sites but there is sites all along the trees that give you the feeling of some privacy and more usable space without encroaching on your neighbours sites. There are really nice trails alongside the park and Fort Langley is a 10 minute walk away.We plan to make this a regular stop for when we visit the area. Fantastic staff and a really nice comfortable feeling when staying there. 5 stars !!
Erik Hunter Vogel
Erik Hunter Vogel: Great spot, not crammed in. ( No Mosquitos in May!) Showers were clean and appreciated as my hot water tank was O/S. ($2/ 10 mins)Enjoyed the walking trails.

Entrée Destinations: what do users think?
samantha temple neukom
samantha temple neukom: I am a mother of a 14yo. Since the time of my divorce, my daughter and I have traveled to 30+ countries on 6 continents. I am the owner of a professional services business, 10+ years with 27+ employees, and sit on the board of two non-profits.Our next adventure was to the Arctic. A friend put me in touch with Entree Destinations. The objective of my trip was the see narwhal (my daughter wanted to see polar bear). After receiving the recommended itinerary, I emailed "I think I'm missing something - this seems too late for narwhals? My understanding is those are in the floe ice and need to be seen in June." They responded, "Not at all - narwhal migrate through the Northwest Passage past Arctic Watch in August… The narwhal… will be around Somerset Island (where Arctic Watch is located) in July and August." They went on to say, "We suggest to add a helicopter day (optional) because it’s a great way to see the narwhals." Upon arriving at Arctic Watch, two separate guides laughed about seeing narwhal, saying "that's highly unlikely." My experience is that Entrée Destinations had no intention or effort put toward delivering on the itinerary they had set forth. The trip was CAD$45,000, including tips fully paid 6 months in advance by wire. While in the Arctic, I experienced being targeted by the owners of the outfit. I don't know why, but it was obvious enough for 2 guests to comment on it, and for at least 1 guide to share they were told not to interact with me. Several times when the outfit had made decisions for me, instead of asking me as they did with other parties led by male guests, I would be told by the outfit and later by Marc Telio, owner of Entrée Destinations, how I “should have” felt about the decisions being made for me.Things culminated with an issue over the timing of the helicopter, which we had paid for back in January, but which didn't happen (but did for the other guests) due to severity in weather. This was at the tail end of day 6 of our 7 days there. I had a brief conversation with one of the owners, during which I was talked down to and disregarded. That triggered something in me. I skipped dinner, contacted my doctor, and sent a note to Entree Destinations and to the outfit. The note concluded, "The lack of respect, genuine openness to seeing me, and honoring me as worthy of direct communication and conversation - versus assumptions or directives - is heartbreaking for me. There isn’t another word for how I am feeling right now.”Upon receiving the note, no one did... anything. Marc sent a note on our last day on the trip saying he wanted to know how to “make things right.” 3 weeks later he continues to email me, and saying things like "the facts are, I said I was willing to step in and help make things right," and yet he has taken zero action to make anything right. I shared what I thought would make it right, which is refunding 30% of the trip, and he balked and said he agreed to only 22% refund, but has not followed through. So, I have since asked him what his ideas are to make it right? “I am all ears,” I replied. I have heard nothing. He has emailed 12+ times in 3 weeks to tell me perhaps I should not have been in the Arctic, or perhaps my experience isn’t real, or perhaps I should feel sorry for him. I have found the correspondence lacking leadership, empathy, or insight. At times he has sunk to name calling. His emails display both emotional and economic fragility. I trusted him with a week of my time and my money, and my adventures with my daughter. He presents himself as the victim. This is not the stance of a leading luxury agency.Entree Destinations failed to act in advocacy of their guest, while I went through what was a damaging experience, with ongoing impact. At this time, after acknowledging a need to repair the situation, they have refused to take any action at all.I cannot in good faith recommend Entree Destinations.Their response to this review says it all...
Darren Prasad
Darren Prasad: A great luxury tour operator in Canada. They even offer a polar bear safari!
Josh Loewen
Josh Loewen: They're sort of the default for high end luxury travel in Canada. They do a lot of luxury trips in Alaska but are known a ton for planning wilderness trips on the West Coast up here.
