Patrina Moore: This hotel is located close to the Vancouver Airport 🛫 with easy access via the skytrain. It was the 3 stop on the train. After getting off the train, you enter the hotel from the upper level. The hotel rooms are great with the bedroom having 3 TV and a desk and a huge bathroom.The lobby has a Starbucks and a restaurant. Also, inside the casino section, there are tons of options to eat, but kids can't get to that section of food because it is inside the casino 🙃Also there is a restaurant across the street and a variety store. It was a great experience with tons to do and eat.

It was harassment and caused me stress.... for no reason! I followed and found out it was the Manager in Casino security, Ash!I asked for an apology and was met with haste. He had no business harrasing people and with no indentifiable clothes... nothing. I've contacted Management several times and haven't received any replies. They said Ash was on vacation and never got back to me. 4 months later, still no replies. Emails are mysteriously"undeliverable"..... interesting. Management does not care here... or at main office. I don't want anyone else to feel intimidated and harrased like I was. With no help because "most of the management is not available on the weekends". We checked out immediately and I'm seeking legal assistance. They allow some ladies with flip flops per their convenience and they do not allow some, they did not allow my wife because she was wearing flip flops, however, we saw plenty of ladies wearing flip flops. anyways ,very very bad casino do not spend your hard earned money here , who do not care about customers and their business , the lady at the entrance literally told us after showing bunch of ladies with flip flops that “where ? we do not know? I will be forever grateful for her help and knowledge of the products, she was truly great at advertising. She provided us with so many options, which was really useful. She always had a smile, was really approachable, and really helped our school out. The pride I felt when my coworker and I walked back into the office to show off to our boss the fantastic haul we managed to find, for a really great price too. ANN YEE: It's a newly renovated place for live music & dancing. It's the first time for me here but it's quite impressive. It's got a pretty spacious dance floor. It had some 80s, 90s & some current popular music played by the musicians. Food & drink were reasonably good. Will definitely visit again, I totally recommend this place at the Red Bar.

Michael Nemo: We ordered the dinner for 10 for a party of seven so more expensive per person experience than usual. We eat here every time we are in Vancouver, Dim Sum, lunch Dinner. Before moving to the island we would drive from Calgary and Western Lake would be a highlight of our trip. Consistently GREAT food. Make a resetvation or be prepared for a long wait. JonnyBeoulve: This place is a go-to for families celebrating things like graduation and birthdays. And there's a good reason for that. While the portions are large, the food is traditional and spectacular. We had some crab and braised beef with rice. Both were delectable. Our waiter also made an effort to engage in conversation and recommend menu items. Wow this restaurant might be unsuspecting from outside, it's well worth a visit for anybody who appreciates fantastically prepared Chinese food.

But once we stepped in the restaurant it's like you went to a different dimension. Very nice decoration, fancy looking Chinese restaurant with tasteful decor! 😮2. I've always appreciate great service. If your family start arguing how much more tips you should give them then you can imagine. I didn't think we give enough tips even with 20%.- They were very attentive to replace dishes. 4 times they replaced my plate. Thoughtful!- Food came very smooth and prompt and 90% freshly hot. That's not easy to do when you ordered so many dishes with party of 12.- They even packed leftover for us the way we want. I mean they were just very attentive and patience and with great attitude.- We are traveling and we bought a Durian. We were embarrassed to ask if they can cut for us because we have no knife to cut it at the hotel. They gladly said they will even pack it for us but apologized that they can't serve it better because they want to be considerate with other customers. The meat was perfectly done, tender and not overcooked but most place that make them not overcooked you will see little bit of blood but this one was perfectly cooked. Juicy and flavorful. Not to salty, flavor still cycle around your tongue not overwhelmingly. Best I've had. And I'm a foodie!!Combination starter - the garlic fried prawns were out of this world. Fried crispy garlic was crunchy and flavorful. The ribs, I don't even know what ribs it called... Kind of like orange chicken ribs, just delicious, sweetness and the crispiness are perfectly done. I had the last piece while it soaked in the sauce for 30 minutes and still crispy, how did they do that??Scallop and prawns - were fresh and sweet and perfectly cook. Not easy to not overcooked the scallop. 👍🏼- sea cucumber was very crisp. Again perfect timing and the pea sprout was done perfectly as well.Squab - This is one superbly done squab. Meat was juicy. The chef really knows how to cook things with perfect timing.I've been to many Vancouver's restaurants for many years. This is gotta be the best HK style banquet restaurants I've been. Many restaurants change over the year with chef and management, I hope they will be around for a long time.Michelin stars has no clue otherwise, I can say for service and quality of food, it's at least 2 stars.

Colleen White: I have a little routine when I go to the Hard Rock: a beer, a meal, play a few games, take in the museum exhibits showcased around the premises, lose and win a little money again and leave. The Hard Rock allows a player to actually play. It's a good time. On this visit, it took quite awhile to get a noon-brew from the little bar - and then the server didn't have change for a hundred so it took quite awhile for her to get me some change. I found it a little strange, it's a casino ....give that girl some COH! 🤑

possible dreams: I went to view the gym as I haven't been to one in far too long. The woman at the front desk was too busy chatting with a friend to want to assist me . I rarely if ever leave a bad review but I was anxious about even walking in (older woman thing)....and was hopeful to be welcomed by someone interested in helping . I was given brutal directions to find the gym and ended up in a stairwell with a door that locked behind me . Long story short I found my way back inside the building laughing at myself...and the employees friend assisted me . Employees who aren't interested in working can make a visitors visit....memorable in a good or bad way . I haven't been back....

Naida Bug: I love coming to this gym. I don't need to pay a bunch of fees, commiting to one year, I just pay for one month at a decent price and I get access to all the nvrc. This one is my favorite because it's small, staff are friendly, getting familiar with the other regular users and everyone mostly minds their own business.

Brian Bristotle: Really sad that this "community centre" is now operated mostly for profit. No longer offering $2 drop in basketball (with the option of using a nvrc pass). Now the only option is "registered" dropin with the difference being you have to register in advance even though there is only 4 people in the gym. The registration price is around $7 which is honestly disgraceful. Shame that this place has really gone downhill since the pandemic. With the mask mandate being lifted soon, yet there still is no actual" drop in" basketball available. Staff at the front desk don't seem to be very optimistic about being there and won't even greet you as you walk in, instead waiting for you to speak to them. Try delbrook instead.

Jenna Jay: My friend and I went to the fitness centre awhile ago. We signed up for the treadmills approximately 25 minutes from when we put down our names because they were all being used at the moment and that's when the next slots were. Then we went on the bikes since they were free. The people using the treadmills finished a little early (5 minutes) and wiped their names off the board. My friend and I decided to finish up our 30 minutes on the bikes, not thinking it would be an issue. But someone came in and saw we had booked the treadmills. The guy started screaming at us for "booking in advance". We tried to explain the situation, but the man continued to yell at us. So an older lady on staff came to see what the commotion was. The man gave his side of the story, calling us "stupid kids" in a less politically correct way (I'm in my 30's) and instead of letting us talk, the staff member asked if we could read because "we clearly didn't read the rules".I had never felt so humiliated before. Ageist staff. Disgusting. Will NEVER go back. I rather walk 20 minutes up the hill to go to Club16.

She has abundant positive energy and I enjoy her classes.The building is very nice and clean and has welcoming and kind staff. I appreciate they check vaccination proof for everyone.
