VCH Travel Clinic/Vaccination Clinic: what do users think?
Bryon “PackPuppy” Elliott: Awesome experience! I made my appointment online, arrived early, and was seen early. Everyone was friendly. The doctor looked over my itinerary and list of extant vaccinations, asked pertinent questions, and made suggestions (including for optional vaccinations in case I wanted to be extra careful (which I did)).The nurse painlessly administered the vaccination I needed, and made extra sure I understood the instructions for the oral vaccination I would be taking that evening at home.I heartily recommend to anyone preparing for an upcoming international vacation who wants to be sure they shall be in accordance with entry vaccination requirements of all countries they shall be travelling through.
Chris Reynolds: Have been to this clinic three times now for vaccines I need for an upcoming trip to Vietnam and Japan. The staff is great! Very friendly and professional. Easy to book appointments and haven’t had any issues with wait times. Definitely going back for my next round.
Emily Chun: Amazing experience! Dr. Sabaton and Nurse Laraine made it a seamless experience. They were very thorough and didn't try to upsell me on anything.
Sydney Davidson: I've been going to this clinic for many years with my family before any trip! Always happy and grateful for the care we receive!
Tricia Dong: Great staff, friendly and professional, and quick service respectful of your time without making you feel rushed. 100% would recommend and will return for second rounds!
Chris Lockhart: Had a good experience, very quick didn't have an appointment. I was looking for dukoral at a few pharmacies, which have been out for several weeks, they had it there and I could take it in time for my trip.
Tova Dang: Reasonable prices for a Vancouver travel clinic. Online appointment booking was straightforward and the waiting room is pleasant.
Peter Stein: They were extremely responsive, accommodating, knowledgeable, and caring. They definitely went the extra mile for me, and I'm grateful.
Argent 11: Thank you Dr. Boraston and the awesome nurse for all of your help. They were so kind and professional. The 2 receptionist were very nice and helpful. I really appreciate this clinic.$60 to talk to the doctor, and you can go on their website to check how much your vaccinations will cost.
Amy X: My experience was fantastic. I went to get my hep vaccine. The nurse was lovely and patient. It was a shame I didn’t get her name. I would love to thank her for being so kind and making me feel at ease since I absolutely hate needles.
mimiko: I have been seeing Dr. Boraston at VCH Travel/Vaccination Clinic for many years. Dr. Boraston is very patient and thorough during the consultation explaining the medications, side effects, pros & cons. She is also very attentive to my well being. I have extreme anxiety towards needles. Over the years the many needles I received from Dr. Boraston was PAINLESS, no swelling and never had any reactions. I am very happy coming to this clinic. I wish I can give more than 5 stars!!!!
Miki R: Not enough good things to say about this clinic. The admin staff and doctor really went above and beyond for me for my appointment so I'm very thankful! The nurse was so pleasant and informative as well. The shots were quick and painless. I will definitely be back if I need any other vaccines before traveling.
Brock Thunder: I've been attending the clinic for all my travel requirements for several years. I've recently used their services for an upcoming trip, (easy to book, the appointment went perfectly with good and polite attention from the doctor and the nurse) and had to get a partial refill due a mistake on my part. The accommodated me easily and quickly, minimal charge. Perfectly satisfied with the service provided.
DeniseJS: Thank you Vancouver Coastal Health Travel Clinic for providing a valuable service. I’ve been coming here for years and have had a great experience every time. This time around was no different. Everyone was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly on the day I went for my consultatation. The doctor was patient and ensured that all of our additional questions related to heat and altitude were answered. There is a consultation fee but it’s well worth the price knowing that knowledgable people have reviewed and updated the necessary vaccinations for my planned destinations.
elizabeth t: very quick wait time
Sandra Wadden: Always check with them before traveling.
Catalina Parra: I was charged $50 consultation in which I was neither informed of the side effects of the $200 vaccine I was about to take nor informed of how long it would take to be effective. When I decided to not take it, I was pressured to buy it.The consultation took place on Monday April 25th 2022, was quick and went well. I told the Doctor that my flight was departing on May 1st for a two-week trip. She said nothing about that and gave me a prescription for a yellow fever vaccine for me to receive at the same clinic on Friday, April 29th. When I arrived and I was ready for the vaccine, the Doctor was not there, but as soon as I sat down and rolled up my sleeve, the nurse told me that I was likely to have flu or Covid like symptoms that could last for 5 or 10 days. I asked the nurse, why the Doctor did not say this during the consultation? Is not this part of the protocol? This was vital information for me since this could mean that in the likely event of getting symptoms, I would miss my $1,500 flight due to the current pandemic. The nurse said the doctor should have said this, but anyways I still had to pay for the vaccine since they had prepared it and that I was supposed to have done my research about side effects. I was astonished. Why is the $50 consultation for? It is their responsibility to INFORM me of all side effects for me to make an informed decision… She then said to me, “it would not have worked for your trip anyways because it takes 2 weeks for it to work”, to which I was further appalled. Why didn’t the Doctor say this? She knew my trip was for two weeks only, the vaccine would have not worked for me in any case. It would have cost me almost $200 and then it might have caused side effects that would have potentially prevented me from traveling ($3,000 entire trip). Why she did not say any of these fundamental details during the consultation? Omitting information like this goes beyond me. As a response, I said to the nurse that it did not make sense for me to take the vaccine since it would not work and it could risk the possibility of travel. Therefore, I was not paying for it. She said: “well, you will not be allowed to enter the country. In Ecuador, they require the Yellow Fever vaccine upon entry.” Which is straight out FALSE. I travel to South America often, Travelers are RECOMMENDED to be vaccinated against yellow fever and if they are going to the Andes, they do not need it at all (also it can be verified in Canada’s travel advisory to Ecuador). After I said that to her, then her demeanor changed, she said “sorry” and stopped trying to use fear or pressure in order for me to buy the vaccine…This behavior left me wondering whether they were giving me (or omitting) the information in good faith or were just trying to sell me an almost $200 vaccine no matter what…I've been coming here since 2012 for all my vaccines, but I am going to find another clinic. This type of behavior truly breaches one's trust.
McKayla Tsao: Due to school requirements , I need to take boosters. Front desk staffs were friendly and asked me to double if my person info was correct. And Gio, the registered nurse, greeted me within 5 mins after I checked in. I told her why I needed it and I felt a bit nervous. She was nice and calmed me down, was knowledgeable to answer to the questions I had. I received 2 boosters and it was done less than a minute. Everything went smoothly and she signed the record for me. Told me I may experience some soreness, but I think I should be fine. Thanks again to the service provided by frontline healthcare workers during this time, truly appreciate the help.
Jay L: They suggested lots of expensive vaccines. Afterward when I find out online those aren’t needed. The ones recommended got left out. Ended up I spent thousands to get some not recommended vaccines and get none of the recommended ones.
ian ng canada: i went here for my shots may 25 2020 my appointment is 1030 and also my work send me here. no complaint. they treat me well. the doctor is nice 5star but the girl in the front desk is 2 or 3 star for me. she talk to me twice fill this up (paper) and have a sit. i will have to come back here since its related to my work that requires updated immunization. but yeah everything is good in my experience. thank you so muchi might be a separate case since i read some 1 star comments but you can check out/try this place. i mean maybe when you agree to pay 1st :)
Imogen Sirluck-Schroeder: Everyone was very kind, patient, and understanding, even though I brought them a total mess of immunization records. The MOA also went the extra mile to accommodate difficult scheduling. I had a great experience here!

BC Centre for Disease Control: what do users think?
Judith C Corchuelo: Great service and amazing workers!
Aaron Adams: Hard working staff protecting the province.
Terrie W: I am a senior, fully vaccinated & always double mask when in stores. My first covid was Christmas Day. Last Wed. was my birthday so my daughters & I went to the beach. My granddaughter had Covid after being at a party. Her mother tested negative for two days prior to us getting together. Two days later my other daughter & I have Covid after being tested. So, these numbers that BC CDC are reporting are far from accurate. Everyone you talk to has either had Covid or knows someone who has it. And now restrictions are being lifted? Are Health Authorities trying to kill us off? I'm so angry!!!
bruno: The nurses here are top notch. Friendly, they answer any and all concerns, and really seem like they care.Seriously I don’t think I’ve felt more comfortable in a medical setting than with the medical staff at this clinic.
June Earle: I wanted to give a huge Thank You to Dr, Bonnie Henry for her amazingly consistent presence during a time of great anxiety and constantly changing information from around the world. I am so grateful to you for your courage in speaking out during this “unprecedented “ times. You are deserving of enormous gratitude and respect for guiding us through COVID19. THANK YOU. 👏👏
Claire C Warner: Health services in this country just continue to get worse with the lack of competence and responsiveness. I cannot get anyone at this organisation to even answer the phone, let alone answer my query.
Jimmy Schroeder: Thank you so much healthcare workers
AB Huang (Albert Huang): too lazy. did not report any data during holiday.
Norm Church: Losing faith in Dr. Bonnie. Let's get the boosters running at full speed. And handing out rapid tests in boxes of 25 is ridiculous. Split them into smaller lots and get them out to everyone.
Eryn Strong: Tells me waiting time on phone is 30mins. Been on hold for an hour and 5 mins. Waiting time with 1 minute has been going on for 10mins lmao cmon...
Chris D: Ineffective, confused staff, unable or unwilling to answer questions. Communications are not answered in a meaningful timeframe, and when they are answered, it’s an excuse why it was not done. Disappointed by the lack of professionalism of our medical professionals
Michael Morgan Bain: In the interest of providing balance, with real reviews rather than ones from antivax campaigners, if you are going to the cdc it's to access free services provided with care and patience from excellent doctor nurse teams who do everything possible to help you feel welcomed and cared for. I have zero complaints.
david bolton: good
TBA: ..... Not very impressed with how things are going....
lu queena: The attitude of the nurse at the front desk is very bad! She is a woman who can understand Chinese. I don't think she should have such a working attitude as a medical staff. The patient's inquiries she behaved as if she looked down on someone, which is really annoying!
katarina krizaj: I needed my inhaler after dealing with them cause i was so stressed. It was such a struggle to get them to do the tests my Dr. wanted. Brutal that healthcare is so policed in this province. My mother is a Dr. out of province and she couldn't believe how hard it was to get the test I needed as requested by a Dr. in this province.
Wayne Tingley: Clearly, BC is falling behind other provinces, especially Alberta, in vaccinating elderly. I know of a lot of 75 plus seniors in Alberta that have already been vaccinated. Pretty sad performance! Dr. Henry is not being honest in her answers!
Leanne Cummins: Incredible service. Kind, caring and professional staff.
Happy Chika: How is it that you dont update covid stats at a specific time everyday. Seems very disorganized which does not lead to trust in your organization from the public!
A Z: Lovely staff who are so caring and understanding!
Charlotte O'Reilly: Caring staff who are implementing helpful initiatives for British Columbia.

Strathcona Community Mental Health Team: what do users think?
Kerry: This place turns people away when they're in desperate need of mental health help. Refuses to even meet with or evaluate a patient with diagnosed severe persistent mental illness who went off meds and has suicidal ideations. Another example of our heartless, broken system.
King Is me: Married and happy good life Vancouver thank you
Derek Reyes: Mike was awesome with helping me with getting occupational therapy.
Kadin Vaudry: Called for information about the walk in mental health services and the receptionist had literally no information for me.
jarett marshall: THIS CLINIC HELPS TO DRIVE REALITY OF SEEING AN END TO A LOT OF PROBLEMS
Stephen Dzienis: This facility has a community health centre on the main floor called Strathcona Community Health Centre, the entrance is off of Cordova St. I walked in and asked to see a Doctor in regards to an abscess in my tooth, I needed some antibiotics to kill the infection. The place was completely empty but for 4 staff members playing games on their computers. I was told that I had to do an intake, so I agreed and said I had the time. They told me to come back tomorrow at 1pm, and that only 3 intakes were taken. So I said, "you want me to come back at 1 tomorrow when the place will be crawling with addicts that are using and acting all crazy and belligerent, and I'll be lucky if I even get to be 1 of the 3 intakes"? The guy said "yep". I just turned around and left the empty waiting area, left them to their games. This place is a joke. Our tax dollars are being misappropriated into these fake health centres.
Rickie-Lee Jenkins: I just had possibly one of the best walk-in experiences of my life at this clinic. All the staff I dealt with listened to what I had to say, were attentive, and genuinely concerned for my well being. NP Michael was phenomenal. He BELIEVED me when I told him something was "off" and legitmately wants to find answers. Unfortunately because I'm not homeless or an addict or anything of that sort I don't qualify to become a patient there - but if I did, I would hands down make this my medical services location of choice. Thank you so much!
Debbie Moodie: It's a good place,we need

Vancouver General Hospital: Women's Clinic: what do users think?
Erin Westbury: My doctor sent them a referral. They declined the referral but did not contact my doctor about this decline. I ended up calling the clinic myself to find out it was declined. Have been waiting weeks for a response. Very disappointed and very unprofessional.
Gary Beka: Just always been treated very nice workers are caring never bad experience ....had double lung transplant.nov 29th got out aug 21st have no issues. Go to vgh for testing and workers r great !!!!
Claire M: Great experience at the the clinic for procedures, all nurses I dealt with in person were caring, informative, and efficient. My low rating is due to how I received my results. I have only ever communicated with doctors here via my personal phone number for the last two years. However, they must have an outdated number included on my records somewhere, which is a family member’s number. They called that number, reached a voicemail, and left a message with the full and explicit details of the results of my tests - To the wrong number.I understand that dialling the wrong number happens, but to leave the full details of the results on a voicemail is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. If results are going to be given over the phone, please ensure you are speaking to the patient. This is so upsetting, and a massive violation of my privacy. My hope is that this review can serve as a reminder to anyone at the clinic that needs to hear it, to be much more mindful of how you are delivering results, and to whom.
Dani: Nurses are very friendly and helpful
Fraser Valley Homes Sales: Waiting for over an hour so far.. not even a magazine to be found! Bring something to do while you wait because you wont even find an old newspaper here.
Vikram S: Excellent Hospital and very kind and friendly staff who take care of you in a professional manner.

CBC Vancouver: what do users think?
Hola D: Government funded media
mrjordan: No freedom of speech left in canada
Pauline Byrne: Sad to say my listening time has dramatically decreased. The CBC I once knew, and could not live without, has vanished. Just cannot handle the Sunday mornings anymore, the morning show from 5 am is a sad reflection of what it used to be, the cackling traffic reporter, well! The host appears to have reinvented himself, also. Miss Sheryl McKay on Sat., and Sundays. I realize, people cannot go on forever, but, please! You have had men reading the traffic report on the A M show, made a huge difference, it was clear, concise, understandable, no cackling included. Whew! So I will bid you adieu for now
Alissia Katie: Vancouver
Dev: These are the useful idiots that soviet defector Yuri Bezmenov warned us about in the 1980s.
Trevor Linden: Defund the Cee Bee Cee
Guy Stone: Killing Canada's democracyThey asked Trudeau twice on live air if he would give them billions more of our taxmoney (George s and Gian g).... Trudeau agreed and now CBC basically works for him. They block comments which are anti-Trudeau on their website - even just basic comments such as "spending is too high". They have no issue with Trudeau mocking black people with black face. Bunch of hypocrites with their non-stop woke nonsense that hinders the people they claim to defend
Eng Hani: 👍👍👍
Liam ONR: Defund the CBC. I want to see everyone who works there homeless and
Dominik Plempe: I LOVE CBC Radio 1. I get everything I need from them: the News, happy ending stories, cultural programs, educational stuff, everything! Never a dull moment on CBC Radio 1. I've learned so much! I'm a true fan. Who needs television?
Dave Kattler: CBC News Vancouver offers a far more balanced approach to reporting on all issues, particularly important breaking news and news of public safety. CBC steps up to the plate as need and when needed. Good work CBC.
Kent James: Busy place full of professionals.
Mike Loehndorf: Very cool history
David Black: So much history being inside the studios. I could not think of a better establishment to fund!
C T: Last day, I saw CBC news which made wrong information on social media. The news must be impartial. CBC news lost a viewer.
Derek Martin: Fast and very responsive team. I recommend this for everyone
Travelwithzen: Convenient locations, right downtown Vancouver
Synto Derrick: fast service! done under an hour. definitely coming back here
Jaquelaine Gelderblom: C"étais comme à Montréal

Passport Health Downtown Vancouver Travel Clinic: what do users think?
Fabricio Rezende: Very helpful and they cover all the information that I need
elliot lesenko-oliveros: Great service, really appreciate the attention to detail they took for my travel plans and my needs.
Vince Chow: This is the second trip I have done that I used their services. Profession and efficient. Juhee is very thoughtful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend the clinic for sure!
Karly George: Very informative and helpful. Highly recommend Passport Health for any travel consultations and immunizations.
Cayla Michelle: Jennifer was amazing. Explained everything in full detail about my upcoming trip. I’m VERY scared of needles but Jennifer was so great and I barely felt it. Thank you again :)
Nils K: Jennifer was knowledgeable and provided a great travel assessment.
Paul Schellenberg: The police need to look in to this organization and shut it down as I'm shocked this kind of scam is permitted. Online application requests some information that is questionable and there is no way to tell them what you need for your travel as will be discussed as part of your 'consult' (whether you need one or not). Their fees are listed at slightly lower than other clinics but when you arrive you are told actually those are prices for the United States. For example, yellow fever is listed at $160 (nothing says US$) but then when you get there they say they charge $300 (others are charging $180). As soon as you walk in the door you are told 'no nurse practitioner so can't give you malaria pills' whether you want them or not. Avoid!!!! Google: why is the owner allowed to reply to comments with false or misleading information?
Emma Moore: Avoid!!!! I’m sorry we didn’t read reviews first because clearly this is a common issue at this clinic. They tell you in advance that they don’t have prescribing authority due to lack of doctor/practical nurse (which also seems a bit questionable) but EVERY TIME this is mentioned they say that you’ll be able to get prescriptions from your family doctor - however many family doctors wont prescribe malaria pills. Like others, we have been left having to pay for another full consult at a travel clinic and Passport won’t refund the original fee. Even if you don’t need malaria pills, I would not feel comfortable going to a clinic where they are being purposefully misleading in order to get people to carry out the appointments.
Victoria Waterfield: Do not offer COVID testing during a pandemic
Alan Charlton: Price Gouging Travel ClinicUp to 45% more than other Vancouver Travel Clinics Surveyed! No pricing available online or offered on call in, Please Confirm & Compare! At the consultation the Nurse was friendly & the consultation was thorough but she seemed somewhat stressed & rushed. She mentioned my future travel plans included parts of Europe & South America was a lot to go over but in the end I was already covered for most except the Yellow Fever.Additionally everyone should be aware there is no doctor on site, they cannot give you any travel prescriptions ie; Malaria pills etc. They do vaccinations and sell preventatives on site. But if you need a prescription they will give you a recommendation that you must take to a doctor's office. After the Consult I was presented with some forms to sign and agree, this form was the first time I was given any pricing information. I booked online but phoned in to confirm the booking times & information. I also received a call back from the Nurse to come in early. Never given any pricing, I will admit I assumed they would be comparably competitive.$69.00 for the ConsultAvailable online discount - $10.00 for the pre screening form.$250.00 for the Yellow Fever Vaccine$309.00 TotalAfter I submitted my claim to my health care plan I was surprised to find they would only pay.$132.00 @ 80%Afterwards I surveyed the Local Area - Vancouver Travel Clinics (3)Consult Fee's Yellow Fever Vaccine$40.00 $165.00$55.00 $170.00$45.00 $190.00 or $20.00 injection fee / Yellow Fever OnlyI have attempted to ask Passport Health to review and refund their overcharged fee gouging for the services rendered to no avail. Everyone
Meeta Lele: Stay away from this place. It's a scam. After paying them for a travel consultation, we now have to pay another consultant / practitioner for a prescription so we can actually get the vaccines to protect us. They are overpriced and do not offer prescriptions to the vaccines they recommend to their customers.
jesse ervin: Fast and informative. Great experience
Nunu Nasimi: Professional
Alexander Kausch: Called 3 times and no one picked up, left messages and no one called back. Not interested in business. I go VCH than, btw I live only 2 blocks away...
Renee L: The fee just for meeting is high. Sometimes you just need a shot in and out. I’d have to recommend VCH Travel Clinic instead.
Lisa St. Clair: I had a superb experience. I went to do some research on where I could/should travel within a specified time frame. The nurse clearly and thorougly explained the various vaccines recommended for certain areas. She helped me determine where I safely travel within the next 6 weeks. I received vaccines that day, and a call with another nurse was scheduled to provide a prescription for my local pharmacy. It was some of the best information that money could buy, and for a minimal fee! Everything went without so smoothly. Bravo!
Eric Blesch: Staff were very helpful in advising the correct shots needed for my vacation to Mexico!! Peace of mind thanks to Passport Health Vancouver!!!
S R: The consultant we met with was nice, but we didn’t get any information that we didn’t already have from the CDC website. We thought we could get the vaccinations we needed (making the trip worthwhile) but there wasn’t a nurse on duty so we ended up having to go to our doctors anyways. I didn’t feel that the service offered value - we had to pay almost $100 for information we already knew. This was frustrating because the price of a consultation wasn’t set out anywhere in the booking process. It was also disappointing that the clinic kept asking for positive google reviews, but when I provided direct feedback I didn’t hear anything back.
Kaitlin Jackman: The ladies did a great job providing me with the knowledge needed for my upcoming trip to Costa Rica. They also provided me with paperwork needed for the yellow fever entry requirements. We went over the vaccines I required for working with wildlife and some preventive meds for travel sickness.I took of one star only because there was a $70 consultation fee that was not previously disclosed when making the appointment and it came as a bit of a surprise but I was already at the clinic and couldn't cancel. The price of the vaccinations also surprised me and after searching I see they are higher here than other clinics. They did let me know what vaccines were publically funded and allowed me to get those ones at my GP. It was nice to know that they cared about my budget and offered alternatives.
Miranda Kennedy Smith: They are great, very professional and on time. She went I depth with my arrangements as I am traveling to 4 countries and roughly 15 different cities which is hard to keep track of. They did an awesome job. Thank you
Selina Lee-Andersen: My experience at the Passport Health Clinic in downtown Vancouver was a very positive one. The consultation session was helpful and informative, so I was able to make informed decisions about which vaccinations I needed for my upcoming trip. Rachel was very professional and friendly. I would definitely return to Passport Health for future travel-related health matters.

Raven Song Community Health Centre: what do users think?
Paul Romani: Until recently, we've had good experiences at this clinic with our baby's standard vaccinations (hence the 2 stars).I was aware from seeing our child's 'Heath Passport' that the topic of flu vaccines would come up, something that I wouldn't get myself, let alone for my baby.In our 3rd visit, the doctor brought up not just the flu vaccine, but also the COVID vaccine, which has well documented side effects at this point for people who are otherwise perfectly healthy. So, we said 'no'.Rather than accept this response, the doctor gave us a major lecture / guilt trip on the consequences of not getting it: "You might have the flu virus in your nose, and it could kill your baby."It is well documented that neither are necessary for babies, and that the greatest risk to both the 'killer flu' and COVID are people over the ages of 65. So, to take such higher pressure tactics (i.e. guilt tactics) was really unprofessional. Why unprofessional, because there's such a thing as Informed Consent. This doctor didn't mention one risk to my baby of either the flu or the COVID vaccine.Throughout this lecture, we're sitting in a swelteringly hot room with a 7-month-old baby. The doctor clearly had no awareness of social cues that we weren't interested in her views on the positive aspects of these vaccines; she had her canned speech and she was going to give it no matter what. And, then she had the cheek to ask why I was so quiet.I'mNotInterested
Kelly Beaulieu: Doctor Burns, worst doctor there. Hands down! Constantly cancels appointments. Makes imaginary appointments and doesn’t tell you. Wish we could put zero.
Gordon Sjodin: I have a high needs person that I help. This place kicked us out because we "don't fall under their catchment " They pushed us to another doctor and now he dropped us so we bounce from doctor to doctor left in limbo.
Naomi Chant: My case manager Emmanuel & Dr.Woods (my psychiatrist) are incredibly supportive, listen attentively, and genuinely care. I feel like I can actually trust them & I have had a lot of bad experiences with health care. I am incredibly hard to please, and they are outstanding.
Raven Corrupt: Please help and write a review of your experience here. The doctors all the way to receptionist are all against me while I just try to get a script refilled. I’m saddened to the point of depression now without a doctor. I hope you don’t go to raven song clinic- I know why they are so mean to clients, but please just do it behind our backs
Shannon: I had to stand up for myself. I’m never late and I write appointments on my Calendar. The way they started treating me and it had no repercussions. Sorry guys I’m not letting this go- almost right away The first time I knew something was afoot is witnessing in the waiting room a couple that showed up to an “appointment” in the pouring rain to find out it wasn’t till two days later. The couple were sweet and shrugged their shoulders and just took it. She asked for a cab fair that government pay for, and the nerve of the nurse to tell them they don’t give them out anymore and they need to come back and SHOED THEM AWAY! I was furious watching these people expect to be treated like something is wrong with them. I went in and a substitute doctor was there to greet me. I asked for my regular scripts to be filled. She started asking me why I’m on so much and she doesn’t believe that’s my dose…what? The computers don’t lie, just write the script I’ve been on for years, I only need the script!!! I’ll admit -when she blamed me for seeking I did tell her I was surprised that a doctor couldn’t use a computer. This place scares me. Oh and they never faxed my meds to my pharmacy so I had to go to emerge instead and wait there. Very sad to be an addict these days
private account: They treat everyone with disrespect and assume they all lie. I know a current client that got kicked out of the clinic for getting their script refilled by a drop in doctor. He is on of the nicest guys and they broke him down not by bit and now he is on the street with no medication. I suggest everyone stay away- they seem to take advantage of everyone for their business.Rip Chris
Sam Toast: I’ve never heard staff demoralize and belittle regular people before. Please don’t listen to these people, you are important and there are people out here willing to advocate for you. Just not here0/10
Mr. Sowell: Doctors in this clinic are scary because they have the power to make you feel like killing yourself. The STAFF IS THE WORST. If you are not after them like a dog, they won't do anything at all. Worst medical staff you will ever see. Nobody knows the procedure, nobody has any idea how things work in clinic, if you are thinking you will get a call for specialist appt....forget about it. You have to call them & remind them that you are waiting for specialist appt. They tell you to be there at 11:30am and when you arrive they say you missed your appointment that was at 9:05am. This place is a nightmare and I bet my life’s earnings this clinic is the reason for so many overdoses. Santosh and marshal are two people that are getting looked at closely because of the complaints. When it starts to fall apart I want to be there to see. I’ve never seen staff treat people with addiction like absolute trash before until this place.
darcy olson: Love the staff there. Always friendly to me. Been going there for years. There is sometimes a wait time when you show up w/o an app't...but that should be expected. 3rd floor mental health services are awesome.
Victoria Alejandra Panek: Just moved to Vancouver looking for a new office. First initial lady was nice but when I was transferred the 2nd woman hung up on me which I found to be kind of unprofessional and it was not a pleasant experience.
GlennRod Scharf: I like the availability of getting an appointment here. The staff that I encountered were very friendly, respectful, and helpful.
Erika (Erika): Receptionists and admin are snarky & will tell you that your problems aren’t valid. Given that I’ve been with this place for 17 years, I think they should be able to know their patients better but new doctors love to think they’re top notch than their predecessors. I understand why Dr Eichhorst would want to leave this place.
Zoe Spear: Worst clinic I’ve ever been locked into….. once I went here the doctor I was assigned never did anything to help me, never called back to check up on anything, even after hospital visits (numerous) and avoided appointments like the plague all while not prescribing me any of the medication every other doctor said i needed / was entitled to go on to.Then to make things worse they wouldn’t let me change clinics anywhere else because this place was closest in my catchment area. I literally had to no move to a different part of town to get health care. You would be better off not having a doctor then getting locked into one here imo.
Shawna Fossin: a 4 star medical clinic with a 1 star mental health and addictions unit. We refer to nurse Montana as 'The Appendix' for how useful he is.
JasonC Lang: Excellent care for all health services and staff are amazing
Lisa Warsh-Chartier: I have been going for some time now. The best part of this place is that they kept seeing people during the pendemic. I really appreciated that. The only draw back is they are very busy. It is hard to get enough time in front of the dr.They have been kind, and try to help with whatever they can. Much appreciated Raven Song.
M “LS. Deezer”: got transfered to this clinic they forgot to fax my perscripton that I need and now on the weekend there is no way to get ahold of someone. I'm choked
Diana Chou: kind and effective services for each visit, also given resourceful information and very much appreciated , will definitely come back .
Russell Victor T: Came early friday too see my family doctor. They have a guy at the door handing out masks and hand sanitizer, it seemed to me they were taking all the precautions thumbs up.

South Mental Health Team: what do users think?
C. T.: They are extremely kind, caring and generous individuals. ALL THE STAFF MEMBERS whom I have had personal interactions with have not only treated me very well, but have also gone above and beyond any expectation, that I may have had, to help benefit my lifestyle through increased activity, community exposure & available programs that are suitable; along with encouraged employment & personal fitness opportunities. I feel very blessed to have been introduced to the team at South Mental Health. I highly recommend & encourage to anyone to show-up with an open mind and integrity in the form of an honest description about your current life & background.
