university of the fraser valley: what do users think?
Roshan Kotian: Had a wonderful experience. The staff is extremely helpful and professional. They will guide you at every step. It took about 45mins from checking in to the interview completion. Everyone is super nice and ready to help. The center is very well managed and adequately staffed. Thank you for your kindness!
Elizabeth Walker: I had a good experience expatriating. Security staff are very helpful and friendly, but they are thorough and you need to be aware of their restrictions on items you can and cannot take in. As mentioned, there are small lockers for phones. The security staff will take your phone and lock it up for you, and give you a tag to collect it. The lockers are small - the only thing they will fit is a phone. The consulate staff were efficient and friendly, too. Their office is a bit of a rabbit warren, and not super accessible for anyone with mobility issues..
Tasnia Rashid: I had an appointment for passport services in the afternoon. It wasn't busy at all and the guards were super helpful and friendly! I had The appointment originally a day prior but they called me and asked if they can change it to the next day because there was some event going on. It was pretty easy to get in and everyone was very helpful and friendly. It took me around a total of 15 minutes to get my services from the time of my appointment.
Sukhvir Brar: Overall experience was good. Try to book your appointment early in the morning. We went there an hour before our appointment and was done by the time of our appointment. They usually email you about your belongings what we can take inside but I always carry a small backpack as my purse so I thought they will allow it. But no I was wrong. So do not carry anything with you except your documents. Or leave them in your car. Luckily we park nearby so I quickly run to the parking lot to put my bag in our car. No phones, Apple Watches are allowed. And security guard was not helpful at all. When we were almost at door to go inside then they told me that you can’t take your bag inside. Why didn’t you guys tell me before when we were waiting in the line for 10-15 minutes.
Tri-City School of Music 2021 and beyond: how do you actually speak to someone? The phone number just lists a bunch of things that don't pertain to why I am calling and I don't want a visa (which seems to be the only way to get any information) so I am super confused why they even have a phone number????
Jill Star: Every person that I came across during my visit was friendly and helpful. I can't say enough about the help I received. The wait times were almost nil. Very efficient. Thank you
Jef Tek: Fun place to go hang out for a little while. No hat 🎩, no belt, confiscated my Bic lighter, hmm 🤔I had handcuffs in my Blues Brothers Bag, not a problem 😎Couldn’t find the parking pay 💰 kiosk across the street so I parked for free In and Out of downtown like a thief 😆
Gordon Schneemann: The American Consulate in Vancouver, BC offers excellent customer service from its friendly staff. Never mind the random security guard, who confuses personal insecurity with building security. Hats off to the rest of the security staff! All in all, the consular experience is top-notch.
Jennifer Nguyen: Very quick and professional. High security but they are very friendly too. The interview itself was quick and took me about 5 mins, the whole process was 1.5 hours (waiting for documents check and photo scans, finger print). My interviewer is a nice professional lady. The questions are:A: When did you come to Canada?B: 2019A: Which school you go to?B:A: Who paid for your tuition?B: My familyA: What’s your family job?B:A: Where are you planning to visit?B: Las VegasA: Do you have family in the US?B: NoA: Do you have family in Canada?B:A: I approved your visa. You can get your passport back next week.B: Thank you.My interview was April 4 and got my passport back on April 6. Very quick and efficient. Highly recommend this location!
poonam bhaliyan: The whole experience of visa interview is nerve racking until you meet the Visa Officer. Super cool! This was my first time giving visa interview and was very nervous as there were many screening involved but everyone was helpful at the office. So here are some tips from my experience1. Don’t bring bags or purses there as they have small lockers which can be used to only fitYour phones, smart watch and other small prohibited items2. Even if you have selected other location in your DS-160 form(let’s say you are interviewing in abc location but the location in DS-160 is xyz ), that’s all right. They’ll take just some time to transfer your case and then you’ll be good to go.3. Arrive to the location 30min prior to the interview as there will be a lineup4. Don’t bring any food items with you5. If you have a bag with you which is not allowed, you can keep it at nearby lockers location6. Just keep smiling, you’ll get through it
Manu Goyal: Location is very convenient by public transit. Staff were very friendly. Especially the officer was very polite she didn’t make it look like a scary interview. She was talking and laughing and approved it in less than 2 minutes.I’ve also been to US consulate in Toronto. Their staff were as usual they’re supposed to be in any embassy.Don’t bring any bags or purses. They’ve very small lockers in which they’ll only put your smart watch, AirPods, phones. It’s better for you if you don’t bring any of them.
Giant Zygote: Staff is very friendly. They have a locker for phones and smartphones but they don't allow anything else inside. Don't take a bag. They first check your documents and photo and then send you to the 20th floor for the interview. The whole process was very smooth and streamlined. I had a good experience.
kudzai gara: Good experience, extensive security process so just follow the instructions and leave your purse at home. They do take your phone and store it in a locker. The overall process was good and the service was amazing.
Neri Matrixx: Mailed in my documents at Canada Post on Feb 15 2023, got back my passport with renewed US Visa on Feb 28, 2023.
J P: Made an appointment online to renew my passport. In and out in 15 minutes. Very friendly staff and easy process if you have all your paperwork in order. Thank you ...
Bisrat Yosief: I had avery very bad experience with the interviewer she was so rude and disrespectful looks like she is so biased of our color. The security was so polite and cooperative .I felt so humiliated.
Joe Li: I've been to a few US consulates all over the place and this one by far has the most efficient and friendliest staff. Highly recommend.
Rohan singla: Very easy and straightforward process . Please don't come early as they allow only 15 min in advance. They have a locker for mobile phones . Do not bring any bags here.
Rohit Bhatia: I wish zero or negative starts is an option I could have select that Some Visa Officers don't even use common sense.
Simran Kaur: They canceled all the appointments on 23 dec without any prior notice and haven’t informed anything. We all went there in poor weather conditions. I wanna give a zero rating but there is no option for that. They don’t value our time and lives I think I am trying to call them from 23 dec but that doesn’t even work.
Silent Hill: Today I had my interview and I had applied for a visit visa in 2021. So it was over a year since I had applied and scheduled today's interview. I am a Canadian PR and work in Vancouver. I reached there by Skytrain. It is a 5 minute walk to the line outside the consulate. I joined the queue outside 10 minutes before the appointment with just one person ahead of me. I had energy bars which were confiscated as they are not allowed. There are a total of 3 security checks and the process takes place on 3 floors, including street-level floor. The whole process took 45 minutes and I was constantly standing and walking, except for last 5 minutes before the interview. There is no public bathroom nearby nor I saw one inside the consulate. The security was least aggressive today compared to my previous experiences.Following were the questions:VO: Pass your passport, pass me PR card, pass me everything.Me: Passed the passport and PR card.VO: How long have you been in Canada?Me: 2 yearsVO: Where do you work?Me: Large government-funded organizationVO: What do you do there?Me: Computer programming.VO: Do you have any relatives in Canada?Me: No, just me.VO: Do you have any relates in USA?Me: Yes, x brothers and x sisters.VO: Are you going to meet them on your trip to California?Me: No, I'm going to meet another relative, who lives there.VO: Is another relative an adult?Me: YesVO: When will you go to the US?Me: May be in 2 or 3 months.VO: I have approved your visa, it will be ready in a week.Me: Thanks. My phone was kept in locker at the first security check point, so I collected that exactly from the place where it was deposited. If someone knows of a bathroom nearby, please post about it in your review.

British Columbia Institute of Technology: what do users think?
Sean J: If you love torturing yourself and trying to be someone, this place is perfect.
Kevin Sun: Just go here too hard to study
1 234: They really don't care about creating problems for international students, completely fabricated by the institution itself, because of their lack of organization -and compassion. Then, they leave them to fend for themselves in the face of complicated bureaucracy, washing their hands of any responsibility
Nadeem: Great interaction with instructors and students. The flexible option is nice.4 stars for the long class after 6
Gary S: Gorgeous building!!!
Huda Anwer: I don't recommend this institute to ECA report. Very bad customer service and no respect to people
Terrence Yellowquill-Hill: Inaccessible accessiblity services
Betty Lauren: BCIT is the school for international students to get study permit, even the students dropped all courses after getting the study permit, BCIT not care… IRCC should do audit on BCIT
Moisty Meyer: Still trying to scam students with online courses (equivalent to youtube videos) and the courses still cost just as much as courses before the pandemic… The costs before the pandemic included the classroom and various other facilities available to students. biggest SCAM. Whoever is in charge should be fired immediately for their negligence.
Nalaka Illuppella: I am Microsoft certified student :) from BCIT
Simon Lambert: Hardly any TAC accredited programs, only Provincial (now ONE TAC accredited program, CTAB accredidation ended in 2014). Difficult to transfer credits to other insitutions, even within BC.
Ryan Fletcher: I work as a contractor here , the staff and students respect your work space , and it seams everyone is happy .Also there plenty of options for food and relaxation spaces .
Mark Brown: It’s okay
Yuriy Shevchuk: I attended an FWR Program for three years. In the RENR classroom, close to the end of the third year, in the cabinets that were under students desks, once opened for the first time, there were very old moss balls and what once were stuffing of birds; though, stripped eaten to the bones by larva and crumbled up dry over a very long time. That old crumbled animal matter with moss ball chemicals was getting air born into the classroom through the large openings of loosely closing cabinetry doors. They also had this black humor stuffing on the wall, which was a rabbit with skillfully glued antlers and ears from a goat, or something alike, showing how serious they were about animals. Though, not much is worse than the false globe doctrine they kept failing me on. They drained large aquarium with fish during year two, one wonderful feature in the class, though, it was theirs. The cashier reception desks were floor down, where receptionists collected digital card payments.
K J: I like this building. Very quiet during the evening.

City University of Seattle: what do users think?
Rohit Singh: Donot see those bad reviews everything is real and university campus also exists in downtown Vancouver
Akash Riar: Fraud university don’t take admission in it. They will not refund your fees if you change your college. Don’t come to this university as their staff is very rude to the students. My advice to students is not to come in this university beacause it’s a fraud university
Rob Hasenwinkle: My experiences as a client working with intern counselors from City U, in Vancouver, have been mixedThe two that I worked with were a good fit for myself and the intern counselor.I worked with both counselors for about 3 months each. For both me and the counselor the professional therapeutic relationship was clearly communicated, and felt, to be very healthy and going along well.Although what shockingly happened from the last intern I worked with was has traumatized me badly. The last intern I worked with for ~ 3 months, named Karen Brodie, was very familiar with my trauma history and with the disturbing behaviours of counselors I've worked within the past and understands my damaged level of trust.everything was well and productively for the 11 sessions with Karen, although she became very hesitant and defensive when I asked about the name and contact information of her supervisor. It is a requirement of interns at City U to provide that info to clients.I continued to ask Karen to provide me with that information and she became visibly defensive and failed to provide the information for over 4 sessions. Finally she emailed me her supervisors name and contact info in mid January this year. The series of disturbing events that happened next is what has actually not only hurt me but caused me painful harm.Out of the blue, and very inappropriately I received a phone call from an unknown number on January 22nd ( a scheduled counseling apt date )I didn't answerThe same number called less than 2 minutes later. It seemed urgent, and I had recently applied for a few apartments so I answered it.It was karen's voice on the other end and she sounded Very anxious. It is Very inappropriate of a counselor to call a client without the clients permission.I was quite jarred and shocked to hear karen state very anxiously that she can no longer work with me as ' it was out of the scope of her practice 'I made a comment about her not providing me the name and contact information of her supervisor and that this had harmed my trust in her and hung up before I became more upset. There was authentically zero communication or even sense or vibe of my needs as a client being ' out of the scope of her practice ' whatsoever over the 11 sessions.I am certainly aware of the level of training of each city u counselor ( they are working on their master's degrees in city u counseling. )Empirically speaking, I feel strongly and sense the real reason why karen decided to stop sessions with me is that she had become very defensive about my inquiry to her supervisor's name and contact information.I see and experienced that karen has prior issues of being reprimanded in working with intern clients.I reached out to her supervisor, whom I requested to email, and not call, me to set up a time to talk on the phone.Instead, and very upsetting to me, her supervisor - judith pratt - called me at 9 am on a Saturday morning only to leave an over 7-minute long voicemail which sounded like she was mumbling and whining to herself. So I emailed the director of city u, and karen, to ask ( once again ) that judith does not call me randomly and rather that she emails me to set up a time to talk.Instead, she called again the next Saturday morning to leave another inappropriate long incoherent voicemail.I asked all city u stiff that the director only emails me.the stiff member, jacquline mann, called me randomly, she sounded empathetic and agreed to my needs and she agreed to email me to arrange a phone call with me.Instead, over a week later I received a very cold email from her with a ' summary 'Most upsetting is the many aggressive and demanding behaviours and communication patterns of the City U of Vancouver stiff member named'' dr. ' steven con away ''During and after my last course with the 1st intern, and with karen - he left me several very aggressive, and threatening emails.I am more than hurt, I am harmed, and very disrespected, by these series of inappropriate ill communication and misconduct from city u intern and stiff members.

Simon Fraser University - Vancouver Campus: what do users think?
Julio César Moreno Correa: Excelente infraestructura para la educación
Ethan Woods: I hate it here too but at least you don’t need to take the 145
Alexander Evans Forsberg: Great university.
Henry JiaJia LAM: The venue was badly managed. With just over a thousand of people the venue became really hot, the AC is non-existent in the lecture hall. If you want to book a nice venue for your event, look somewhere else.
张硕: sfu学校地处博纳比山上,非常喜欢这个学校
Tim Kinstlers: Great looking campus. My sister got her BA here.
Daniel Miller: My course is amazing. The professor is very knowledgeable and well versed in the subject.
Zohra Shahabuddin: Proud and grateful to be a part of SFU..🙂🙂🙂
Scott Gibson: Great teachers, great facilities. Love downtown SFU
Melody Monro: I loved all the new art work! I haven't been to HC FH for a few years, so really appreciated it. Locked my bike outside and it was still there when I came back out!
Darcey Lewis: I was actually working with a demolition crew on the 6th floor of Harbor centre and accessed the building through the Richards street entrance. I imagine that the campus is lovely.
Bogdan Herinean: Nice library
Andrew Auld: Great school really clean friendly smart smart teachers
JasonC Lang: Lots to learn
Patrice: Well designed campus space in an accessible and convenient location.Come here to check out the big map of SFU campuses in Vancouver, surprisingly there are 9 of them! Mostly for arts, tech, business and continuing edu programs. The view from the big window is spectacular on a sunny day.
Andy Aras: Great downtown campus. Offering a variety of courses.
Greg Bem: A really great, central location with some amazing facilities. I would say that the room for improvement includes: having a door person to greet and support visitors/guests, and some A/V equipment which, during my time there, malfunctioned in a handful of major ways.
CiDYYJ: This is very good use of downtown traditional office/retail space for higher education purposes in the middle of the city. The facility is accessed from Hastings Street by a down escalator or on the other sides by street-level entrances. The food court on the lower level of Harbour Centre has good options for a quick, hot meal at a reasonable price.Elevators are also available (including a free one to the Vancouver Lookout at the top of the Harbour Centre). The SFU downtown campus has a bookstore, administration and registration offices, lecture halls, meetings spaces, and classrooms. I've attended many community lecturers and conferences at the site. The campus can be a bit confusing to navigate and finding a washroom can be challenging - ask for help!
Minal C.: My alma mater, as an alum you can access the library, sfu wifi and the clinic :)
Johnson Kanagaraj: It is one of the oldest universities in Canada and one of the foremost universities in Canada. It has several departments and attracts students from various countries around the world. It is situated in a beautiful surroundings with beautiful gardens inside the campus. There is a area in the garden where you can see the group of Totum poles beautifully arranged. The university has campuses in Barnaby and Surrey and Vancouver. The University offers a wide variety of different openings to the aspiring students to choose from. They have undergraduate , certificate courses , master's and doctoral courses in various subjects to help you to choose from. They have special services to help the international and aboriginal students.
Declan Tran: Terrible student service
