Konbiniya Japan Centre: what do users think?
jurgen Spang: We found everything we needed for our cooking adventures!
GLENNFLY Ho: 貨品相當齊全,價錢合理
Brad Marflund: They have stuff you need but pricey even compared to Fujiya or Sakuraya. Plus check expiry dates here! Too often we’ve bought stuff and get home only to see some items’ expiry dates are well past.
Sharon B: One of the best Japanese place I’ve beenThey have all kinds Japanese from beauty products + ready made food (onigiri) and ramensDon’t forget to try their crepes w ice cream! Best crepe I’ve ever had
Carson Leung: We are fortunate to have Konbiniya in our neighborhood! The moment you walk into the store it’s like you’re transported to Japan. I’m very grateful to the owner for creating this little slice of paradise on Robson.
Wai Wai Wong: Excellent place for Japanese snacks. Go there every week. Glad to see the new staff at the cashier smiles.
YVV Dude: Never buy origami rice ball at night. The rice is already hardened, kind of disappointed. It should be good when it was fresh.
Natasha Mehr: If I could provide ZERO stars, I would. The customer service at this place is sub-zero. I have witnessed rudeness by the old and grumpy owner in the past & just let it slip, thinking the old guy might be too tired, but hey, if you don't have patience, hire someone! The inefficiency and impoliteness we witnessed, made us finally make the decision to never shop at this place ever again! This place employs only two extremely slow female workers to make crepes and while they make crepes, they don't bother to have someone serve the soft ice cream from the machine which takes less than a minute for several ice cream cones while the two females waste so much time making a few crepes. It sure isn't a smart business choice, as they can make MORE MONEY serving soft ice cream cones every 30 seconds on a busy day, rather than WASTING 15 minutes to make a few crepes!!! Their crepes aren't the best either. Too bad the French Crepe shop closed due to the lock downs.Anyways, last Saturday, we waited over 15 minutes to get the ice cream the children wanted, as the two customers ahead of us had ordered four or five crepes each, and it took over 15 minutes for the workers to prepare their order, and the second customer was still waiting for her crepes that were being made in a sluggish pace while chatting on her phone & chewing gum very loudly, while children in the line got upset.Yet, there was no one to serve the soft ice cream to the poor kids waiting in the long line!!! Three kids decided to leave DISAPPOINTED without ice cream. Two mothers with children, could not wait any longer, and they too, left while their children got sad. A lady standing in line behind the customer who was waiting for the crepes asked the slow and RUDE Asian worker if they could get someone to at least serve the ice cream (which takes maybe 10 seconds for each cone), but the unprofessional said, "we are only two people here with so many crepes to make, and by the way, you should pay inside the store, and then come here and wait for your order".We got quite annoyed and left, and so did the couple in front of us. Never coming back to this pit again, as there are many other places serving delicious ice creams and other desserts in the area.
Keyvan Radbin: Nice foods here and getting to know with Japanese culture
Emi: I always make a stop here to pick up Japanese products I can't find in Alberta. Great selection of products and friendly staff.
Michelle MY: Best price for natto in the Vancouver area
Nicolas LAURENT: 夜遅くまで開いているのですごく助かります。うどん、米、中華の合わせ調味料などをよく購入しています。
Francesca Murray: A bit small on the inside but clean and lots to choose from, n friendly service.
Noah MacLeod: So awesome! Love it, definitely stop by if you're in Vancouver. I got my new favourite meal replacement here. This is 100% better than Mr Mike's.
Joaquin L: Wide variety of Japanese snacks and food.
Julie Bond: Fun, fun, fun.
Andrea J: What a fabulous variety of goods. Lots of candy and other choices.
Claudio Higashi: You have to try the oniguiri! Delicious and fair price!
Joana: Authentic Japanese convenience store. They have the biggest variety of items I’ve seen outside of Japan. A lot of the stuff is only marked in Japanese, so buying is a bit of a guessing game. The food we got was good though.I bought a skincare product there, before realizing that I couldn’t carry it back on the plane. They were nice enough to refund it even though I threw away my receipt.
Bryan Tung: Tons of great Japanese foods and drinks here! We love coming here when we visit to try and check out the Japanese items we cannot find anywhere else in Canada.
ccfishy: Lots of variety options, snacks, food, cosmetics, etc!!! Price is alright.

Yama Cafe: what do users think?
Vivian Z.: Very warm and unique Japanese family-owned restaurant. I love the coziness of this place. Food is beautifully plated and tasty. I only wish it could open longer hours so i can visit more often.
Varrel P: Ive been to many specialty and fancy and home style cafes, but this one is the best I’ve ever been to. It’s a Japanese family-owned cafe/restaurant. However, all their products are very high quality and the service feels very personal. Most of their cutlery and dish ware seem to be beautiful unique or antique pieces, similar to a lot of the decoration and furniture in the cafe.I have been here twice before. I first had the morning set and hojicha latte and now tried the tuna tataki with a matcha latte and strawberry shortcake. Everything I’ve tried is incredibly good and the portions are very well balanced for the price. It feels like they employ expert baristas/bakers/cooks that should be working in professional kitchens!
Yusuf Abas-Sinclair: Genuine nostalgia and care is served to you. Keen on hospitality, I felt at home.
Candela Solis: Recommended dishes Sakura Mochi, Vegan, Moffin Mocha and Muffin, Tuna Tataki Bowl on Rice with Mochi MuffinMore

Anderson: This place is definitely quite inconsistent. A bit of a place of extremes.Very slow service, but they are very nice. Card machine hasn't worked in a while, so they only take cash (no debit or credit). They have never taken American Express.Food is good, but the portions are very pricey for what you're getting.I liked the Tuna Taiyaki Bowl. The seasonal salmon bowl is the stuff of nightmares, don't get it.
Law Rence “_” H: Recommended dishes Matcha Brownie, Moffin Mocha and MuffinMore
Sloan Hanberry: Such a cozy atmosphere! Their Pork belly rice and salad bowl is so beautiful and delicious! Will definitely go out of my way to eat hereRecommended dishes Pork Belly Bowl …More

Ari Bean: Like stepping through a portal to a beautiful quiet local cafe in Japan! The most delectable food. Kindest people. Cutest atmosphere. Family owned and operated. I get all my friends’ birthday cakes made special here ☺️ I love the lunch bowls. I love spending time here, this place is medicine for the soul and the most nourishing delicious food and drinks and special treats!
Daniel Li: Lovely little restaurant. Seems to be run by family. Cozy environment and great food. I’ve been a couple times and each visit has been great. Strongly recommend for breakfast. Their serving is a bit less for a brunch, at least for me. So do order desert.
Peter H: A wonderful quiet place. Very welcoming staff. Food is well worth the wait.
Ralph Kam: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Pork Belly BowlMore
Simon Cheng: Delicious everything. Good presentation for the food and cafe has a nice vibe. The Benedict was soft and flavorful, same with the tuna tataki
Hana D: I’ve been to Yama Cafe many times for their Japanese breakfast and it has always been affordable and delicious, their coffee and drinks are always so tasty and cute. Every item of food and cutlery and decoration in the cafe is clearly chosen and made with care. Everything is so delicious and so cute! The cafe is run by a family and often their young boy is there drawing pictures and helping out his parents with little chores which is just so sweet. My boyfriend and I recently had their custom made omakase dinner set where you fill out a survey on your favourite and least favourites foods/flavours and they create a custom menu with seasonal ingredients. Everything was so incredibly delicious and carefully thought out, and there was so much food we were very full at the end of the meal! The price was quite reasonable as well considering they create a custom meal for you and it’s a private dining experience (they close their restaurant for you and your party).Yama cafe is by far my favourite Japanese restaurant that I’ve ever been to in Canada. I am Japanese myself and often am disappointed when having Japanese food in Canada as it never matches up to the quality and flavours you get in Japan. every meal I’ve ever had at Yama cafe however brings me straight back to Japan and the dishes and flavours feel so authentic and are so delicious. Everyone should check this place out!

Tracy Zhu: Vancouver's most authentic roasted torii pub 🍶ZakkushiIt is still an old restaurant that we have eaten for more than ten years, people always have a nostalgic plot 🤣 I don’t know why I always feel that the old restaurant on Denman is better than the one on Main StreetThe store is small, in the style of Japanese back alley izakaya. The last renovation was ten years ago. The seats that need to take off shoes were removed and replaced with tables that can be shared now. It used to be difficult to get a table and wait in line. Now after the epidemic There is no queue for dinner, except for some sashimi changes, and my favorite almond tofu is gone 😭😭😭 Other foods have been delicious for more than ten years. The Japanese can really do the best in maintaining business 👍👍👍Generally, Japanese food stores are wholesale finished tako wasabi. They make it by themselves. Don’t ask why, you will know when you try it , Pork belly is my favorite, and charcoal-grilled rice balls 🍙 are super delicious 🤪Generally, the portion size given by Chinese restaurants is only half of his home, and the price is still expensive. As long as it is open here, we will always come here😋😋😋
Cindy Ren: delicious! ! I really love chicken offal 😭 The beef is very fragrant and tender
Sara: too delicious! I like wagyu the most. The premium set meal is a must. All five are absolutely delicious. The chicken heart is very tender and delicious. The seafood is also delicious. The shrimp is so big. The garlic beef is also recommended
Nancy B: Disgustingly rude servers who are very unprofessional. They try to guilt and shame you into tipping them. What kind of manager thinks its okay to tell their staff to fight customers about why they tipped or didn't tip? They charge a premium price for garbage quality food. Servers do not come to your table unless you flag them down for a few minutes. This all falls on whoever is the manager because it is clear that he/she is prioritizing all the wrong things. Horrible.

Baker & Table Café: what do users think?
Jack: I went here with my friend in the weekend. The coffee is great and delicious “Banh Mi”. Highly recommend this place.Update: staff are really friendly and nice.
linda bui: Amazing Vietnamese coffee. I recently travelled to Vietnam and this place has it down. They have plenty of milk alternatives which I really appreciated. The owner himself was very attentive to brief me on their coffee drinks and give some recommendations. The melonpans are so adorable!!! I got the Totoro and Pikachu and they were too cute to eat! Overall a great experience. Very cozy and cute place to have a snack with friends.Vegetarian options: Delicious vegetarian banh mi options.Dietary restrictions: Great selection of dairy-free drinks or alternative options for people with dietary restrictions

stephanie chong: We have been coming here for many years, when the shop was still baker and table. We've celebrated many birthdays with cakes from here, including my daughters first birthday, so to say I was disappointed by the cake we picked up over the weekend is an understatement. I want to continue being a customer and help out a local business but this is now the third time I've ordered a cake since the change over to Broye where the cake has been disappointing which is why I've finally decided to write a review. We ordered an Ube cake a year ago that tasted good, but the whipped cream was not stable and turned to liquid. Wanting to give it another chance because we knew it was a new item on the menu and we did enjoy the taste of it we thought we'd try again and ordered another ube cake, but this time the cake was covered in a hard and not good tasting buttercream. I probably should have learned my lesson after that experience but we had ordered the strawberry shortcake many times before and it was always delicious. I even messaged them to ensure it was all whipped cream. The 6inch cake we received was very disappointing. The sponge was dense. The cake itself was barely 2 inches tall, not cylindrical - tapering at the top of the cake, with very thinly sliced strawberries in between the layers, whereas before there were chunks of strawberries folded into the whipped cream. For a $45 cake, I would at least expect it to feed 5-6 people and it could barely accommodate 4 adults with normal sized slices. As much as I want to continue being a repeat customer, the quality of the product has decreased so much we won't be returning.
カイテン: I'm actually disappointed. Got melon pan from the "new" broye, who used to be baker and table. It seems they changed hands a while ago, but says they kept the same recipes (though now says to be a vietnamese japanese fusion). Except what they sold at nikkei are NOT authentic melon pan. The yuzu strawberry melon pan I bought had a lopsided sloppy crust, and it was literally an explosion of JUICE inside. Whatever actually made it into my mouth instead of on the floor, it tasted like watered down yuzu juice. The mochi cookie was similar to a flavourless dry sugar cookie... there was no chewy mochi texture (or flavour). My husband and I couldn't even finish either. Authentic melon pan from Japan does NOT have liquid inside. This used to be my favourite authentic melon pan place when it was owned by the sweet japanese woman but now I'm avoiding it since it went so far downhill. There are other decent melon pan bakeries around Vancouver and I'd recommend them instead.Original Post from 2019 @ Baker & Table :The melon pan is delicious and reminds me of the ones in japan. I love there are seasonal flavours.
K W: Cute cafe on Fraser with adorable pastries and innovative drinks. They have a range of items including Vietnamese coffee and banh mi. Very affordable, nice staff and beautiful modern interior. Service is really friendly!Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area!!
Bui Joycelane: I found my new favorite drink today, salted coffee at Broye cafe. The salted cream cheese makes a wonderful balance match with intense flavor of Vietnamese coffee. Also, highly recommend panna cotta coffee as well.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Michelle Hillock: This place has the best melon pans I've ever had in BC.Everything about the melon pan is perfect. The crust on top is crunchy thick and not too sweet. The bread is a classic japanese bun. Side note: crust is flavoured usually corresponding to the flavours inside.Cream inside is probably what sets it apart from other melon pans. There is mochi seamlessly combined with custard cream which is expertly flavored. They have matcha, chocolate, European cream, pumpkin, London Fog, sesame, Yuzu cheesecake flavors. They also have special flavors depending on the season. The sugar they use is extraaa sparkly. The great thing about this place is that it's a bakery and they bake all the buns in-house. Don't expect the Buns to be warm or straight out the oven however, since most of the buns they sell have been cooled down to room temperature. They do not reheat or toast for you.they have a drink menu as well thier matcha latte is quite delicious and has a strong matcha flavor (Not creamy, but strong). They have free Wi-Fi here and they have desk, chairs and benches. There is probably two or three outlets that you could use in the entire Bakery. People study here.the decor is really nice they have a mural that has a super cute dog image.the biggest con with this Bakery is that it SEEMS to have poor ventilation, so for some reason it gets really really hot and stuffy. Or maybe it's some other reason but it can get stuffy. ??? Idk.Another con is at its gets very loud I'm not sure if it's due to the conversations of certain people or if it's because noise is amplified. but compared to other cafes and bakeries and coffee shops it was very loud. I had my earphones in with music playing but it was still too hard for me to get any work done (I'm the type that usually get work done in slightly noisy cafes).Street parking. Walkable from bus.*****Update***they re did some interiors and the decor looks much better and modern! Beautiful wooden accents and origami cranes. A trendy spot for young people. It's still not well ventilated and hot sometimes ..... Maybe when the ovens on to bake the big batches??They offer more savoury items like chicken banh mi. The bread and flavours vary based on who's preparing it! Inconsistencies pull it down a star as sometimes the bread is fresh and crispy and soft and other times it's over toasted and hard which reduces the chewiness of french -viet baguettes. The soy sauce is a little garlicky. I'm pretty disappointed that none of my banh mi has pate and jalapenos! Also they forget to add cucumbers sometimes..... So some banh mi have no cucmbers. ): Sometimes if I ask they will add jalapenos in but if I forget then there's none.Prices of macaroons kinda high. Cakes taste great, better than Becca down the street.

Sweets Fanatic: I was disappointed by the look of Hello Kitty and Totoro mochis since it lacked similarities to the original character. Hello Kitty's famous bow was transferred into a flower (and if you didn't name it Hello Kitty, I wouldn't have known it was that character). The food tasted great! Loved the matcha latte and the atomosphere was perfect with good decorations.HOWEVER, I was extremely dissatisfied with the utensils. They're all made from thin wood which broke halfway while I was cutting my rock hard mochi. And, the utensils was placed upwards, meaning that when you grabbed a fork, you had to grab it by the spiky top. I will attach a photo to my review so you can see how you get the utensils. Sorry for the bad quality, I don't have a very good camera. But you can see the forks and spoons. But this is very unsanitary. Imagine an unwashed strangers' hands grabbing a fork that you have to use to eat your food. Now imagine that stranger going to the washroom and finishing up their business without washing their hands...Please change this. I fear that a customer might get sick in the future. At least put all the utensils in a shorter cup (if you really can't change the way people get their utensils) so that they can TRY to get it from the stem.I will be back for the cute mochis and delicious latte, but please up the cleanliness procedures.Food: 5/5Atomosphere: 4/5Price: $Comeback rate: 80% (will change)Edit: so I saw the owner's review about changing how the utensils will be taken- thank you very much for changing it! It will greatly benefit your customers' appetite and appreciation.I will come back for more!

Vinculis: Very cute café! Got a Totoro cookie, mochi melon pan, and a green Thai milk tea. The drink was okay, but more floral than I was expecting. The Totoro cookie was a salted caramel mochi cookie. Both the cookie and melon pan were only okay. Mochi was not very flavourful but the outside of the bun was good!Unfortunately, the staff member who helped me didn't really know the products they were offering. I had to repeat and clarify myself multiple times and even after all that, they still got me the wrong cookie...
Iris Afonso: Excellent banh mi - crusty bread that doesn't cut up your mouth. We ordered chicken which was moist and flavorful. We paired it with an ube latte and an egg coffee. We sat outside and enjoyed a good afternoon.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Fujiya Foods - Vancouver: what do users think?
Andy: So many options for a cheap and filling meal! It's a one stop shop with ready to eat foods, meats and veggies, and Japanese specialty foods. There's also a small area with tables and a microwave for eating in store.
Michael: Lots of japanese food and snacks. Also selling bento boxes.
Amy Truong: After so many years of visiting Fujiya they have remained a solid choice for me. I love visiting this location to pick up ready to eat items. Their bento boxes have a terrific variety of options and their sushi is made fresh daily. I picked a wide range of items for only $55! (Pic included)
Ron Wegiel: Japanese food and grocery products, good food
Sean Dadi: A must visit if you're not from here and like Japanese foods, sushi, premium green tea...
Julian Tu: First time Customer alert ⚠️ 📢My boyfriend brought me here to buy some sushi and raw Salmon/Tuna and I loved it.They have everything you need to make sushi 🍣They also have areas for frozen and pre-made sushi rolls. The negiotoro hand roll is my favorite and would get so filled. The curry is good too, but it has no meat, which I would have preferred.🍲I also love how they have carts you can push and add your shopping cart on top.The cost for everything is way better than going to a sushi restaurant.I go here every week or so now and love everything about this place !Would super recommend~
Taigi Maeda: One of the few places to get the staples to make Japanese food at home. Sashimi grade fish is always a plus. Not necessarily the cheapest place, but currently the most convenient based on my travel.
Jonathan Y: Legit provisions from Japan.
Hamid Attarzadeh: Food is very good for the price.
Tony L: Very rude people working here.
Keith Chan: Great place for Japanese groceries and ready to eat food!
Noah MacLeod: Oh my! I went in here looking for QP Mayo, and I left spending $50 at their lunch deli. Best inari pockets I've had, great nigiri, and the other stuff was all BUSSIN. MAKE ME HAPPY WHY DONT YOU FUJIYA FOODS???? Much, much, much, much, much, much better than Mr.Mikes.
Richard Leung: Getting more expensive
Sy Y.: 2023-04-08周六早上10:30到门口。好多东西呀!一大早就有人守在门口等开门。
Eva Tong: This place is exceptional for purchasing Japanese products. I would say the price is quite expensive though, but knowing some products you can’t buy it from elsewhere. I will still pay for the price differences.
Mabel black label: Good valve bento boxes. The parking lot bottle neck is slightly annoying though. Also it's a poke stop.
Hon Tung Lee: If you want to find Japan products! Come here!
Audrey T: Fujiya is a very nostalgic Japanese super market for me! They have a ton of Japanese groceries and ingredients, as well as a great selection of meals, sushi, donburis and bento boxes. The prices are still reasonable!
Alan Ngo: Where you can get authentic Japanese foods, ingredients. Prices are very competitive. Excellent place to shop.
Jonathan Tsang: Great selection of Japanese snacks and groceries. I constantly find myself there for their packaged bentos and sushi!
NaNa Kulmala: I frequently visit this Japanese supermarket and ordered a variety of cooked side dishes at the counter. However, I was disappointed by the lack of customer service provided by a young Japanese female clerk. She packed my food without any expression on her face and handed it to me on the counter without saying a word. What made me feel even more uncomfortable was witnessing her change in attitude when a middle-aged Caucasian man next to me placed an order. Suddenly, the clerk's demeanour changed, and she served him with a professional smile. This inconsistency in customer service based on race is unacceptable and discriminatory. As someone who values inclusivity and equal treatment for all customers, I hope the supermarket management will address this issue and ensure that all customers are treated with respect and professionalism, regardless of their ethnicity or appearance.

Rz: Beef curry, tuna donburi were good but portions were very small. Matcha latte really good and not sweet. Matcha parfait is the best thing, although maybe there was a little bit too much cream.
Chen: Recommended dishes Hojicha Shiratama Float, Matcha Shiratama FloatMore
W: Matcha lovers' paradise. Ice cream not as creamy as other places but great nonetheless.Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Jane: Matcha loaf tastes good!
K Lee: Destination spot for sure! If you love matcha you will love this place! Did not explore the lunch but the desserts were fantastic! Large variety, so hard to choose! Definitely need to come back for more.
Sarah Wade: Great place for Matcha lovers and the workers are friendly and helpful I would come back.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Victoria Nguyen: Their parfaits are amazing but as a matcha lover that has been to Japan, I do not recommend their matcha lattes. It was bitter and has no sweetness, which tastes nothing like what I had in Japan. They will give you sugar packets when asked but I was rather disappointed because I paid around $7 for a small. The place is aesthetic for a cute hangout with friends but not a place to work/study because there’s no public Wifi or outlets available (just a heads up for fellow students!)
Very Hangry Guy: Had their hot Matcha Green Tea. Very good, quality beverage. All their desserts looked good, but did not have any. Worth a try. @veryhangryguyFood: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Megan Chui: Expensive and small portions. Ordered from ubereats & 3 things were missing out of 9. They used to be good, but now, not sure I would return.
Brijendra Nag: Great places, a ton of menu options for both matcha and hojicha. Loved the fact that they dishes aren’t too sweet and the flavour is just perfect, really well made and beautifully presented. Solid dessert or cafe spot and would highly recommendVegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian
Jonathan Lim: Cozy matcha café. Lots of dessert and drink options hot and cold!
Nicholas Kong: I like Nana's a lot more than Tsujiri. Their pastries are very nice as well. We always get the hojicha/match shiratama float!Update: prices have skyrocketed and you need minimum one item per person to dine in. Food quality stayed the same!
Nancy Chang: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
May Tong: If you’re a Matcha lover like me, you shouldn’t miss out this place!!!I’ve been so disappointed by the matcha drinks I’ve tried in any drink shops, you can only taste light and watery. But this place makes the richest matcha drinks I’ve ever tried. LOVE IT! 😍😍😍I got the Matcha Shiratama Frappe and. Basque cheesecake. The ice cream is covered by matcha chocolate coating, which makes it more creamy and flavorful. That was AMAZING. And Mochi is so chewy and yummy. And the cheesecake has surprisingly rich matcha flavor too. Strongly recommend!!🍵🍵🍵
A. San Pedro: Really good dessert! Definitely get their soft serve
Rachel: Very bad serviceThe girl banged the machine on counter just because I wanted to add a drink to my orderHorrible experience
Homing Fung: Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Grace Yip: The parfait and tiramisu were good and portions weren’t too heavy. Pretty standard dessert cafe.
chloe: Decent matcha soft serve. Would like it to be richer and less sweet, but it's creamy and tasty overall.
Charles: Anything matcha related is authentic. The lattes, ice cream and parfaits kinda remind me of my time in Japan. Mochi is so-so.The lunch options however, are laughable, especially the portion sizes, not worth the price and the taste is subpar. I strongly suggest sticking to the dessert options if you do come here.
Annie Yu: TLDR: Overpriced… small portions. But hey, the aesthetics of the food was nice!My friends all felt very unsatisfied unfortunately with the meal size and quality given the expensive prices. I would definitely say skip the savoury foods, as you have a better chance of being less disappointed with the sweets! Also, be aware the store smell takes a while to get used to. We saw two bugs around (one silverfish by the cashier lolol and a spider near the table)

Kingyo: what do users think?
Nelson Woo: We decided to try our luck on a Saturday night with no reservation after hearing great things and being fans of Raishu. The experience did not disappoint! We ordered from the wagyu beef special menu and a few of our favourite starters. The salmon tartar is a home run, packed with flavour and pairs perfectly with the crispy chips. The wasabi tako is a must have if you’re a fan of strong flavour and looking for something unique. The wagyu beef ramen is different (in a great way) - the broth is made with blue fin tuna (need I say more?) and leaves you wanting more as you stare down at your inevitable empty bowl. The standout is definitely the seafood bibimbap. Lots of delicious seafood cooked in a stone bowl which creates the best crispy and flavourful rice.Give them a try if you’re in the area, however I would highly recommend getting a reservation!
Sancho Leung: Did not accept cash. Which wasn’t told to us beforehand. Service felt rushed, like they wanted us to leave the place. Girlfriend still had food in her mouth when the server came over and took away her tray.
Simon Lui: Absolutely phenomenal. Their special was a shrimp and crab broth ramen and it was mind-blowingly good. Very rich and very flavourful. I want to come here again and again and again.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
C C: Def coming back
Cherie Storms: Great service, excellent menu with flavours that wow. Great cocktails & dessert. Prices are fantastic. Good date location.
Jeremy V: The Mother's Day bento boxes were delicious!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Elham Mansouri Dana: Great food, reasonable price, super friendly staff! One can’t expect more
Zarrar Khuhro: This place is just sooooooo good. Seriously! Highly recommended and excellent value for money too!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Oindrilla Chatterjee: Overall, my dining experience at this spot was decent. I appreciated being promptly seated upon arrival, and despite the servers being very busy, they were still prompt in attending to me throughout my meal. The total bill for one, including the stone bowl seafood bibimbap and drink with tip, came to a moderately expensive 35 CAD.Unfortunately, the bibimbap was not to my liking. The seafood flavor was too strong and fishy for my taste, and it came with no gochujang or sauce to complement it. However, when I asked the server for hot sauce or something to go with it, they promptly brought some which made the dish less dry. The bibimbap was essentially just rice packed with chopped seafood. On the other hand, I did enjoy the mango lychee soda that I ordered. Overall, I would rate this spot a 3 out of 5 stars for their prompt service and seating, but the seafood bibimbap left a lot to be desired.

Maria: 4.5/5.Otoro donburi, green salad, grilled kobe beef, steak donburi - all good. The otoro was fresh and delicious, the beef tender, ... The otoro donburi could do with less rice since there's less fish.Pretty decor - particularly the faux bamboo row sprouting up from inside the long table.Nice service.
Herschel Tab: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes 3 Types of Sashimi Plate, Katsu, StoneMore
Kira Zala: We had their bento box and a shrimp & crab Ramen broth special. The bento box was exquisite and definitely worth coming early to line-up for (limited supply). The shrimp & crab Ramen broth was the most flavourful and creamy Ramen broths I have ever had. The kimichi tomato was a huge surprise, such a good appetizer. The staff is incredibly kind and professional. Atmosphere is great too. If you are visiting Vancouver like myself, then this is an absolute must!!!
Evan Cai: 食材新鲜,刺身的口感也很棒石头烤过的和牛肉口感很棒!牛肉盖饭的米饭和肉分量很足!
M O: I celebrated my birthday at this place, the place I had visited several times before and used to love, but this visit left me disappointed. While I understand that many restaurants are understaffed, the level of service we received was particularly poor.Firstly, we were left unattended for a good 20 minutes before anyone came to check on our table.Secondly, the server never brought us water until asked. It was funny because one of us asked for it, then they brought just one, we had to request more.Additionally, when I asked for a virgin mojito, the server initially said it wasn't possible, and we had to explain to him that it was. It seems like the server doesn't really understand English. Even after that, the full price was charged for the drink. Moreover, we had to ask for a complimentary birthday dessert. I selected "birthday" as an occasion when making the reservation. In previous visits, I never had to ask for it. The dessert itself was also disappointing as it lacked flavor. To make matters worse, we were asked to leave as soon as possible by multiple servers a few minutes earlier than our booked time. They told us the next group is waiting but we did not see anyone waiting for our table.Throughout our time there, we had to make an effort to get the attention of the servers as they were not attentive at all. The only time they came to our table without us trying was when they brought the bill and they wanted us to leave.I ordered duck sushi which was interesting but I don't think I like the texture and seafood cream udon which was decent but nothing really special. It could be improved.I'm not going back for a while. I hope they will improve the service
Estela Hsu: Super good, the sashimi is very fresh! The sad thing is that they put so much soybean sauce than I can take with rice for the beef dish…..very salty for me.
Lu Lu: What a great Japanese lunch! Everything is so beautiful and tastes good. We felt like we were back in Japan.日本にいるかのような、美味しくて見た目も綺麗なランチをいただきました。サービスもよくてとても満足でした。ぜひまた来たいと思います。
Eva Zheng: Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Angie Hui: We ordered four items as shown in the photos. The salad is the best. The sashimi is the second. The ramen was not bad. Just that the beef was a bit chewy. The pressed salmon sushi wasn’t very good. Too much rice and the rice was not fresh. The place was packed. Fun environment.
