Kelsey: Hands down the absolute BEST Nespresso store! The staff are always SO on the ball especially Vigan and Tunc. So knowledgeable, so friendly, they make the coffee experience fun and are always suggesting new flavours to try 🎉
M K: This is my second time to go to this store. My first time experience was really good and this time was so so.I went to the store around 5:40ish because the website said the location will close at 7, the coffee bar was already closed and staffs were packing up. As soon as arrived one staff drag us to the sale desk, I was going to look at some machine and updates 😒. When it comes to sale, he was ok, however after I came home, I notice they did not give me the recycling bag 😩. (Have to go back 😫) Hopefully the service is consistently good cuz this up and down does not feel that friendly for customers.All in all, it was ok experience. (Rushed for no reason.. 😒) Not too happy..

I bought the machine with high expectations, but unfortunately, it has been nothing but a source of frustration for me. But how Nespresso is scammed people. 100s of people selling faulty & brand-new machine on Marketplace. Because people are not happy.On the day of purchase, the machine started leaking, and I immediately contacted your customer service for assistance. I was advised to send the machine for repair, which I did twice, but to my surprise, the machine was returned to me without any proper repair. The coffee output was never satisfactory, and the machine continued to leak, causing inconvenience and wastage of coffee.Now that the warranty period has ended, the machine is leaking again, and I am left with no option but to discard it. Your customer service representatives have advised me to purchase a new machine, which is not acceptable. It is unfair that I am being asked to pay for a new machine when the fault lies with your product.Furthermore, I am extremely disappointed with your use of the word "rebate" when referring to the purchase of a new machine. It appears to be a scam to lure customers into buying another machine when the problem is with the product itself. A rebate is type of refund or discount offered to customers? I am being offered to pay Vertuo Next $229+ taxes and $100 will be rebated whereas you guys selling same machine for $129. That's pure scam. If buy any other low price machine I get $49 rebate. Basically its force purchase even though the market price is low of that product. This is poor marketing and after service. In short, if there is problem in machine after 1 year I need to trash the machine and I loose money.I am extremely dissatisfied with the product and the service that I have received from Nespresso. As a consumer, I feel cheated and misled. I am therefore filing a complaint in the consumer forum against Nespresso for misleading marketing and for not providing satisfactory customer service.I am writing and a blog as well as publishing in local newspaper and even in social media.I hope you take my complaint seriously and take appropriate action to address the issues I have raised.

Thi Ngoc Truong: After reading a handful of reviews and my experience today, I am shocked that nothing has been done regarding customer service at this location. I have been to this location many times, some decent experiences and some unremarkable, but today we felt unwelcomed. The hostility of the 2 staff (1 male and 1 female) made us so uncomfortable. No smiles, no greeting, they just seemed annoyed they were working and took it out on the customers. People are paying a premium price for these coffee, the company needs to have better standards for your service and those who represent your brand.
Steve Thiessen: I was taken aback with how poor the service was. Actually felt uncomfortable while making a purchase because of the way the employee was taking our order. If you expect someone to spend $100 on coffee at least make it a pleasant experience.
Bahar B: Went to the boutique yesterday to buy some pods, it was my first time after a long time back to in-person shopping, first time saw they opened the bar, there were an on-train employee, named Kimia, she was pretty professional and friendly at the same time in her job, and offered me a new pods (hazelnut) that they had and was pretty good. Thanks for hiring such a professional person.
Sabrina Wang: This location is pretty big. You can check out the different machines as well as a bunch of accessories. They have a proper coffee bar where you can get americanos/lattes, etc. The staff are nice, although some of them have a heavy accent and can be a bit difficult to understand.The coffee bar only had 4 options of pods (2 vertuo, 2 original). Came to this location interested in trying some specific flavours before buying but ended up not being able to do so.A big drawback for me is that it's right next to the perfume department. The smell was very strong while waiting in line. I can't really imagine having a whole coffee here - it just smells awful.

They told us they close at 6 (even though all their hours are posted for 7) and would not take time to collect the order even though it was 6:02. Again, horrible service. I left and went get my coffee capsules at London drugs! I am from Europe and service like that is not acceptable at any Nespresso store.What a shame for Nespresso !

Elaine Cheung: Terrible service! I was in the boutique in downtown Vancouver today Dec 17 at 330pm) and the redhead girl who worked at the counter was VERY AGGRESSIVE. Snatching a menu out of my hand as I was lifting it up to see the pods underneath and she publicly shamed me in front of everyone. I left the store and she shouted after me. Horrible experience.
3 1 5 7 3: Honestly disappointed and letdown. Beautiful layout enthusiastically serving Hudson's Bay employees over actual customers. I will submit my first official concern letter regarding training.

ghazaleh farid: This was my first experience at this branch, and unfortunately, it wasn't a good one. When I asked a staff member what a reusable bag was, she laughed at me. I think she was also Iranian like me, as she spelled my name correctly. However, it is important for the staff to be trained in proper customer service and not to laugh at customers who are unfamiliar with certain products. It's important for staff to be polite and helpful to all customers, regardless of their level of knowledge

Rajan Brar: I bought a coffee machine from best buy upstairs and went to this store to get coffee pods, i was asked by a sales specialist to leave store and i was treated in a way by Sales person that i couldn’t afford it. I am working as Sales specialist from past 2 years and even if a customer is not buying or just asks my advice I never ask them to leave the store. Just to let know that person or their management that NESPRESSO is just a coffee brand with a average $300 machine so please don’t make your specialist act like they are selling machines worth of money which only few can afford.

A J: We opened an account me and my wife with Nespresso long time ago and we always use this location and it’s been great until I decided to do a subscription for new promotion they had for year end, I came to the store by myself and I chose the machine I want and the subscription package and what coffee capsules and when we got to final stage the staff at the counter told me for some reason the system is not accepting the transaction and I have to comeback tomorrow and I was ok with that and the guy at counter told me I will keep the machine and the capsules on the side ready so I don’t need to wait and waste time, when I came back next day they had a different staff and no one knew anything about my machine or my capsules and had to talk to them from beginning and explain to them what package I chose and the coffee capsules and wasted another 1 hour as they didn’t have the machine in the store and they had to go get from the storage, wasn’t a great experience and I was very frustrated and angry, today I visited the store to buy some capsules and since I have a subscription the lady at the counter asked me if I wanna use my credit I said yes of course, and after charging me the difference on my credit card the one that on file that I presented to her and paid with, she asked who’s the holder of the account I said me and my wife the account under her name but my phone number and my credit card on file, then she asked me can we see her ID I said no you can’t, when I came the other day and did the subscription nobody asked for my ID? I even walked away with a free machine as it’s part of the subscription but no one asked for my ID?? That’s doesn’t make any sense!! I totally understand you guys trying to protect me and my credit but where were you when I came to do the subscription?? or that’s ok because you taking my money not somebody else?? That’s explain how well trained your team! Bad with setting up the expectations and keeping the promises and some follow the process and some not!!! If you wanna set a rules do it every time not every visit different people ask for different things! I will definitely try to get my coffee from a different location because this is was 2 incident in a very short time and left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Fily S: We had the best experience at this Nespresso West Vancouver shop. The manager at that time Sean ( not sure how to spell) was extremely courteous and understanding. We had a rare case whereby during COVID our machine broke down and we didn't have the opportunity to return the machine and have it repaired. Our pods were unfortunately not useable anymore. They were able to look into our order and gave us special circumstances discount.They were all truly friendly and understanding. Thank you so much for making our day. Hope all the best with everything. I will be sure to come back and purchase from them again.

Lia Rio: I went to nespresso Metrotown in the summer of 2022. While waiting in line, I observed an employee (beautiful Indian girl) being harassed by a racist customer. I was in such disbelief that not one single coworker or management stepped in to try to help their own. Everyone looked but continued to work as if nothing was happening. So I took matters into my own hands and stepped in. I was very upset that no one from this girl’s team stepped in. Do better guys.

Linda Wilke: Tried calling this boutique to ask some questions about their machines and coffees, but wasn't able to connect directly with them by phone. We took the risk and drove out from the Fraser Valley (50ish minutes). We spent less than 5 minutes in the store, as the employee couldn't answer our questions about the different Vurtuo coffees (I was hoping for something similar in taste to the Fortisso lungo of the original line) and we weren't allowed to try any samples (instead we were directed to your downtown location). Bring back the ability to try your coffee and bring back another 'pop up' further East. Not all your customers live close to Vancouver/Burnaby.

I may I don’t dress like your “regular” customer but after waiting 10 mins to be helped as he pretended to be busy around me finally helped me with straight attitude. After spending $60 on coffee I asked if there were samples and was responded with a quick no. Mean while I look over and they are handing coffees out and people drinking them at the bar. I felt disgusted by his behaviour and would have returned my purchase but I never want to step foot in there again.

Nero K: Kudos to Ali and Kunal! They should be your go to representatives if you care about the customer service. Went to the boutique today for my monthly coffee run and while paying for the sleeves I got, I randomly remembered that I never got the $30 coffee credit that I was supposed to get when I purchased the machine last year (was a promotion at that time) so I asked Kunal about it. Kunal started helping me to find solutions to that but it wasn’t a big deal to me and the boutique was starting to get busy so I told him not to worry about it but Kunal and Ali made sure that they still take care of their customer and gave me 3 sleeves at no charge which made my day!Thanks for being amazing guys!

I remember that I wrote a review here before and complained that the staff didn’t paid enough attention while I was visiting their store. Next time when I went to the shop,to get some coffe,Scott,Their manager,That’s right,the big tall guy wearing glasses ,Confronted me and yelling at me to remove my review or I wouldn’t be welcomed in their store anymore in an indirect way. I was afraid of my safety and so I did just that! But I am no longer visiting that horrible business of theirs. Please stay away from Scott and specially this location if you like to feel safe.

(surprise sleeve on any order of 5 Sleeves as I got an email also).But the other staff intentionally stopped him to give me an extra sleeve, I don't know why?

When I brought em back to the store for a exchange they told me that all the boxes have the same expiration date and that I can drink it pass the expiration date.When I bought through the online store I never had this problem.

He was very impatient and snapped at her claiming he doesn’t know what I like and told her to figure it out herself. This was very rude considering it’s not a huge ask to check an account history.She ended up going to another Nespresso and the sales associate there was extremely helpful and she ended up purchasing several boxes.Based on this negative encounter we would probably take our business elsewhere.

Ghaleon: Works well enough to get more pods. No sample area like at metrotown though. Staff know the coffee flavours fairly well but they frequently deny ever having promotional items like that 3 syrup variety pack as soon as they are out of stock and I want to know if they will get it back etc.

In the end, we thought it best to take it in to get it repaired or replaced - as even if user error causing it, they'd be able to advise.The service here on in didn't match our buying experience and was a little disappointing.Dropped off machine Sept 26th.Followed up a week later, advised not in the queue (human error), and not looked at but they'd prioritize and call back by end of the day. No courtesy offered in the meantime (first world problems I realize!)October 20th. No fault found- so no repair possible. No replacement offered.We've had the machine home a week or so now, and no leak thus far. The fear being it is now out of warranty...EDIT: Dec 1st 2022Machine leaked..!!!

Tom Balakshin: Nice people, but service and returns are bad. I needed a portafilter and I wasn't sure if it would fit with my machine. When it didn't fit, they would not return or exchange it even though it was a quick screw-on test without a brew and the portafilter was in perfect/new condition. I even asked if they would give me credit for coffee beans and they would not help in anyway. Considering parts are expensive and compatibility between brands is hard to read, they did not have any compassion and this was simply a cash grab for them. February 2023
Darby Meszaros: I don’t often write reviews, but Espresso Dolce has truly stood out from most places I visit. I’ve had my espresso machine repaired by them twice, and I’ve also bought a new machine and grinder from them. In both cases, the service was fantastic. They’re down to earth, honest, mindful of my budget and preferences, and they really just seem to care about me and about doing a great job. Both times I brought my machine in for repair, they finished the job quicker than estimated and were very open about costs and options along the way. When it came time to replace it (ancient machine!!) they helped me find just what I needed and once again provided fantastic service. I highly, highly recommend this place.

The machine is encased in authentic walnut and comes with a certificate of authenticity. It works beautifully, and looks even better. The folks at the Vancouver store were amazing! They bundled the Andreja with a wood trimmed grinder and a wooden knock box, along with coffee beans and cleaning tools. I can’t believe how lucky I was to find such a complete set of matching wood items. Espresso Dolce took excellent care of me. I received outstanding value, with discounted pricing on the bundle. I wholeheartedly recommend Espresso Dolce for all one’s coffee needs. Their level of professionalism and customer care is extremely rare these days.

A splurge with a Simonelli grinder to boot (there was a promotion) and there were even extras I didn't expect.While happy with the service on the web and over email. I am thrilled with the in person and after sales service. That to me is what makes such a difference.We have had this lovely machine for a month and a half and the unit makes amazing coffee. I am the king of coffee again. LOL. Today (Saturday) however, I was doing the regular maintenance and had an issue with the cleaning process on the machine. I had Brian's card from when I bought the machine. Brian wasn't available and even though I didn't leave a message. Brian called me right back, recalled the machine I bought and explained some of the behaviour of the machine to help me with the cleaning cycle in future. Again, happy to help. He could have easily ignored my call. I didn't leave a message. But he wanted to help.You can't buy service like that. I comes from people who are passionate about what they do. Thanks Brian!
