J Y: I really like the place. Music was great. Staff was friendly and the vibe was very good. People came here to have a good time and not just to hook up. loved that all ages were here so it's not only those in the 20s enjoying themselves.I want to give extra shout out to the admin staff. My wallet went missing and I've called them 3 times to check, once first thing in the day, 2nd time later when cleaners were done and 3rd the next day. I also emailed them. They were so friendly and gracious and I felt they tried to help (it's by phone but felt they were looking). Some lost and found treat you like you are an inconvenience but not the staff here. So kudos to you. You made a good impression to me, even though my wallet is still MIA.
Justin Morgan: Usually good but the last time I went was terrible, we waited an hour to get in and then all wanted to leave because it was so crowded inside everyone was constantly being aggressively shoved and groped. You couldn’t move at all or even dance without people almost knocking you over. I don’t get what the point is in making people wait an hour to get in if you’re still gonna let the club overfill like that. I’m used to crowded bars but this was the worst I’ve seen.

charlotte webb: Great atmosphere and brilliant set up for music! Felt a bit hurt when the girl on the door looked and spoke down to me when she asked what I wanted, like I was a nuisance drunk person, but in fact I was sober waiting my turn for the cloakroom. There’s really no need for the rude looks and tone - I am a nice and kind girl and it upsets me when staff think they’re better than others. We’ve all got things to deal with so just be nice and don’t assume. Really let my night down

Me and my friends had been waiting for about an hour and one Asian guy allowed other people in so quickly without even tickets, we are just visiting Vancouver so we don't know about entry tickets but other came late still they gave them priority WITHOUT TICKETS.

Lo H: Jane and Alyssa are hands down easily some of the nicest staff at barnone and in the nightlife industry period, and have always been sweet every time I have run into them and are what makes the beginning of the night enjoyable. More recently, there have been newer girls who are working who are nothing but rude and disrespectful to me and my friends. Will not be returning if the new girls are still working. Unacceptable.

L R: Less then one star. A girl is the neice of one of the bouncers. She told him I wanted to fight when I saw her in someone's face and told them to chill basically. Her uncle bouncer came to me and ask what my issue was I said I didn't have an issue I thought she was starting something so I tried to put my arm between it and say not the place or time. He (the bouncer) came at me so aggressively I started to cry and it ruined my night. Don't go there and have fun or be a good person. Gezus 😮💨😮💨😮💨

Banafshe: Rude, aggressive BOUNCERS!! They let girls go in immediately but make guys wait in the line!! They just want you to pay extra otherwise you’ll have to wait very long in the line!! They’ll charge you again if you wanna grab your coat to go outside for smokes and come back too!! This is ridiculous!
PourBoy Event Bartenders: To be honest, I was looking for more house and EDM style of music but this one fit the score for a pleasant night out just the same. Some Ultra hotties around there LOL so if you're looking for something along those lines you'll definitely find it there, I went to the VIP line which cost me 20 bucks to pick up a VIP pickup ticket and then it cost me another 16 bucks to get in the door so just be aware that it's a bit pricey in that respect. 10 bucks for a beer which is standard in Vancouver but close to 20 bucks for a double rum and coke seemed a bit over the top. But that's the price you pay if you want to go clubbing. Overall a good experience though with no fights and some friendly people to boot. I recommend checking it out.
Gabriela Corvalan: Tried to go in but bouncer only would allow if we paid $50 bribe per guy, as he said it was full. We saw over 50 people coming out and it was almost 2am.The manager said we could go in without paying the bribe, but the bouncer would still not let us in.

I also saw them pick specific girls to cut the line! and this is the second time I observe the same behaviour here. not coming back here

Jordan Basra: Terrible establishment with high ego bouncers who think they have a special job. You really just have to pay them extra outside to get in. My friends and I got there around 10.30 and an hour later we still couldn’t get in. Not a positive experience visiting out of town. Also, allowing people in without getting padded down or checked is a major red flag as it is a huge safety concern. Please avoid this club for your own well-being
Vitor Porto: I went with a group of girls there. We asked the price when we were waiting in line and waited a long time. However, when we got inside, they made us pay way more than the amount they had told us before. Not the place to go for a safe environment to just drink and enjoy the night without having to worry about that type of sketchy practice. We also found the music awful and hard to listen to if you are not super drunk.

Ziegfried Von Shrodder: Came here on Sunday, May 21st with my wife, and from the time we talked in to getting seated, we had excellent friendly service that I have not had in a while. I believe our servers name was Bradley. Super friendly guy who was attentive, I can tell they were very busy because it was a PACKED house and the music was off the charts. Western style tonight with an 1940’s flare, and bar tenders were quick and attentive as well. Highly Recommend this place. Glad we checked their online calendar for the type of music that was performing and playing tonight. If you get Bradley as your server you are lucky to have him. Staff are very professional even with the drunk idiots in the crowd! I’m sure every restaurant gets those! Check this place out! I highly recommend!
Amarjot Pabla: Been to this place many times. In the past, have enjoyed myself, but unfortunately tonight we experienced some unprofessional behavior. The man at the front, as we were exiting, stopped his coworker from stamping us for re-entry as he decided for us “because we would not be re-entering”. Not sure if this is a policy Guilt&Co has now, but from my past experiences, paying cover allows for re-entry later on. Kind of sad to see a place that I truly enjoyed fall to some horrible customer service. Maybe Guilt & Co can speak to this issue. Is re-entry not allowed after paying the same cover as everyone else in line? Kind of sad to see one of my favorite places in Vancouver fall to this type of behavior. I have so many good memories here, but unfortunately overshadowed by this staff member’s behavior.Followed up by going to Smith’s. Great staff, friendly, genuinely kind people. Highly recommend.**edit: I had a back and forth with the owner because I wanted to clarify some details. I received thoughtful responses and it seems like they are taking situations like this seriously. It’s nice to see that they are trying to improve. I have upped my star rating because of this and I hope the next time I visit, the staff will be as respectful and kind as I’m used to!

Linney Sylvester: Excellent vibes and dimly lit underground live music venue. The charge $6 per set of music. Drinks can be a bit pricey and the food is a limited, but the music is always good and so are the staff! I recommend happy hour to save a few bucks. I'd except to spend about $100 a person if u stay for few drinks and a few sets and snacks to share

Gabriela Ganancio: I recently visited Guilt to celebrate my birthday, and while the waitress who served us was good and very attentive, unfortunately, the evening got off to a bad start due to the unfriendly and rude staff/lady at the door. The staff member at the door seemed disinterested in providing even basic customer service and was unwelcoming from the start.Despite my attempts to engage in conversation and let the staff know that it was my birthday, they showed no interest and didn't even wish me a happy birthday. The staff member's negative attitude left a bad taste in my mouth and made me feel unappreciated and unwelcome.I hope that the management takes note of my complaints and takes steps to ensure their staff provides better customer service in the future. Birthdays are special occasions, and it's disappointing that my experience was marred by such poor treatment by this lady.Ps: Music it was very good!

Simran Gill: I have throughly enjoyed this place every time that I have been to it. I love how they encourage the works of local artists. It’s open everyday and hosts two shows- the early & the late show. They are both equally great. There is no reservation required as its first come first serve basis. You might end up sharing the table or standing at the bar as they try to accommodate as many people as possible. The food is average but the drinks are great. Definitely one of the must-dos in Vancouver!

Sean Carey: Was not informed we’d be charged “per set”for cover charge. Was given the short straw, getting charged $12 for hearing 5 minutes of the first set. Waiting 40 minutes while the band took a break, and hearing 1-2 songs of the next set of the same Maroon 5 wannabe band, and getting charged another $12.All told I paid $24 to listen to ten minutes worth of music with my partner, at $20 a drink too. Maybe part of the cover is the set you hear in line while all the people who “know” someone who works there cut you. I am pretty sure the homies were being charged cover at all. Pretty disappointed.

Devon Guzzi: Slow service so slow we left before our drinks showed up after waiting 45 minutes.

Fred Raputznik: A West-End destination for a reason: this funky turret-shaped bar, with a stunning view of Vancouver’s English Bay, should be considered mandatory for visitors and locals alike. The drinks are very good (Caesars are amongst the best in Van), and the food is great. Sometimes the service can be a little slow, but not a big deal. Definitely check this place out; perfect for a date!

Hesam Rezaei: A few friends and I decided to head to this lounge during their happy hour for a couple of beers. The establishment had a decent selection of beer, however, the service left something to be desired. Perhaps it was due to the crowded nature of the lounge during that time, but the waiter and waitress were not readily available. In fact, I had to request water twice before it was finally brought to the table. Additionally, my second beer took longer than expected to be served.Despite the lackluster service, the atmosphere of the lounge was enjoyable. The view of English Bay through the window was particularly impressive and added to the overall ambiance.

Matt Cox: My girlfriend and I stopped in for after dinner drinks on our last night in Vancouver. The round room works great for relaxed people watching while staying close to the one you love.The music was loudish but whoever was picking the playlist had done a great job and the drinks were very well mixed. We both enjoyed ours immensely.The woman beside us ordered a shot and ended up finding something at the bottom of the glass. The server took special care to go and figure out what it was with the bartender and then brought back another round of shots for them which seemed to be on the house.Next time we're in Vancouver we'll be going back and trying food. I highly recommend the smoke show cocktail. It was perfectly blended so the smoke wasn't too overpowering but a beautiful after note to a delicious drink.

Just wanted to drop a line to say how commendable both the Manager Des and Justin were.After helping a young woman who looked like she was ready to retire from the bar and making sure she had the means to get home safely they offered to bring her belongings to her and had their doorman get her belongings.Unfortunately he grabbed a coat from a near by table thinking this was hers.Turned out the other table didn’t realize it was a genuine mistake by the doorman.I overheard both Des and Justin apologizing and saying it was their mistake and were willing to make amends as they had given the wrong coat. They did resolve to make sure the right items were with the right owners before they left.Once again I love the professionalism and courteous nature all of the staff treat me and other patrons with. Des Justin Jack Hugo Jamie Carolina Nicole and all of the rest of the crew are amazing.Bayside is such a great place to call home away from home .Sincere thanks guys.You rock as always.Tom

Karan Verma: This is a great location for enjoying drinks, appetizers, or dinner, and it's a hidden gem. The view is stunning, with float planes taking off, Stanley Park, and the North Shore visible. Live musicians have performed there on many occasions. While it may not be a lively atmosphere, it's an excellent option if you're looking for a quiet place to have good conversations.
Eric Sable: Had a fantastic experience here late last night after our concert got out. Robert recommended and crafted us two cocktails with fresh ingredients at a reasonable price. This is the perfect place to go if you're looking for a great drink with a view!

Sabrina Hartwell: Spent Christmas weekend at the pan pacific hotel and had a few drinks one of the first nights that ended up being delicious. Our bartenders, Robert and Aaron were very welcoming and a pleasure to talk to. We went from only wanting one drink, to quite a few with them. My partner and I also had dinner Christmas night and also had a lovely time. Food and drinks were again delicious along with good service from Patrick. Although the staff was understaffed for the holiday, we still enjoyed our time there with no issues! We will definitely be returning in the future.

Jeff Harrison: My favorite hotel bar. Great views, friendly service, and an extensive range of cocktails (I sampled several during my stay at the Pan pacific). Live music on Saturday nights, but not so intrusive as to interfere with your conversation. I’ll be back next time in Vancouver.
L L: Ordered some drinks after dinner. Got the seafood chowder but not very decent in a seafood city. Cosmopolitan is worth a try. Nice view to the water front. Live singer is even available on weekday night. Service is good. Quiet bar to grab a drink.
Aniket Mahurkar: Staff is very inconsiderate. Ordered a vegetarian tomato soup, and the server was rude and least interested to make sure she is passing on the right order to the kitchen. Ended up getting a seafood tomato soup🤨
Kevin: Visited here on July 8th 2022.We weren't impressed with their waitress as she was pretty slow. It seems like she didn't really take us seriously because we are much younger than a lot of people there.Probably won't be going here again.

Gary Kilbourn: Horrible experience at this bar with a meal.Had been talking to friends online for 2 years ahead of a Disney Cruise to Hawaii (previous cruise cancelled due to Pandemic).Seated fairly quickly after around 15 minute wait. 2 Spaghetti bolognaise dishes ordered, a chicken burger with chips & a salmon salad. the spaghetti dishes came out. We had finished before the other 2 dishes came. Gary's burger was fine but the other dish came out a plate of lettuce only. no salmon. that came out 5 more minutes later but was nuked outside raw inside. The waiter was useless. st said he would take off price of salmon. That is expected as it was inedible. he offered to comp ONE dessert for the salmon. Not good enough you ruined our meal time as a group - we did not chose to eat alone as we had booked a table for 4 guests. The salad meal was finally comped but we were all left extremely disappointed with the service, meal & no consideration for our meal to celebrate finally getting together. What was so complicated with a salmon salad & a chicken burger with chips that it could not be brought immediately with the other meals?Not impressed & could not recommend

Magnus Rashid: Hidden gem for drinks, appetizers or even dinner. View is spectacular of float planes taking off, Stanley Park and the North shore. Many times when I’ve been there have been live musicians. Not a very lively atmosphere but if your looking to have good chats or want a quiet place this is a great spot.
